[21:18] cookout. It was the the 10-year anniversary. And thank you to the police

[21:23] officers who showed up and came out. It was a great time.

[21:58] there's been some question in the community about some new letters that

[22:01] went out regarding potential pipe replacements at various residential

[22:06] properties here recently. Just so everyone is still aware, we've

[22:11] been undergoing some state-mandated replacements of any type of lead and or

[22:16] galvanized pipe service lines for the water lines. So,

[22:20] that is just some of those notifications that have been ongoing over the last few

[22:23] years and have hit some new neighborhoods as of lately. But, again,

[22:27] we have already abandoned all of our lead lines or didn't have any even to

[22:31] begin with in certain areas. So, this is mostly just we're just being

[22:35] precautionary about galvanized service lines. So,

[24:03] taking care of most of the punch list. That's wrapped up, and they're now

[24:06] involved down in High Street uh Estates uh finishing their punch list down

[24:10] there. So, hopefully that'll continue. So,

[24:12] more than likely by the end of the year, all those will be dedicated to the the

[24:15] borough. Right now, they're all privately owned owned and maintained.

[24:18] South Academy Street townhouses, uh the first year first building was uh

[24:22] approved for uh as far as site improvements for occupancy. Uh they're

[24:26] still working on the others. Uh trying to get those details worked

[24:29] out. So, that's underway. Uh the two Vision Stream, the apartments and the

[24:32] warehouse or the self-storage building are underway.

[24:35] Uh they're getting all their building permits ready to make for the building,

[24:38] but most of the uh underground facilities have started. Uh with that,

[24:42] it's been a little bit slow. They started out fast, but slowed down a

[24:44] little bit, but uh they'll continue. Um RLS U, as you can see, they're mostly

[24:49] focusing on the building. We have some water and sewer work tomorrow we got to

[24:52] take care of with the contractor, but that's progressing slowly, also.

[24:55] And Towns of Elsmere Elsmere over on MLK uh that just uh broke ground today for

[25:00] the sanitary sewer on Higgins. So, you'll see a lot more activity out there

[25:04] over the next 4 to 6 months as that as that proceeds. And the uh DOT

[25:08] funded job, Hampton Boulevard, is completed. Uh they haven't finished all

[25:12] the signage yet. So, we still have punch list there. So, but that's getting done.

[29:10] South Academy Street. And I'm here because um our son Milton usually does

[29:17] the junior Police Academy camp and this year

[29:21] I actually missed the cut off. But I said it's okay. I'll go to a neighboring

[29:27] town and sign him up. That was a bad idea.

[29:33] Um I have to say that we are completely spoiled um being in Glassboro.

[29:39] Um the police officers here were amazing.

[29:42] Um from start to finish, they were very professional, very on time. Um the time

[29:49] for the other program was 8 8:00 to 1:00.

[29:54] Here it was 8:00 to 4:00.

[29:57] Um I felt like it was a waste of time. I felt like I needed to tell the other

[30:02] police officers that they need to come and shadow the Glassboro Police

[30:06] Department to know the proper way how to have a camp. So, I just wanted to get up

[30:12] here to just say how much I appreciate you guys. They You guys also do the

[30:17] Phoenix Rising. Um our daughters attend that and that is amazing as well. So, um

[30:24] I'm not going to say the neighboring borough, but um I was

[30:28] very disappointed. And I just want to let you guys know that you're doing an

[30:31] excellent job. Um my son did go. He had a phenomenal job phenomenal time. The

[30:38] The police officers were very personable, um very welcoming.

[30:42] Um and I felt like he learned a lot in then closing ceremonies. They have

[30:46] someone come out and take pictures. And at the end it was a great slideshow.

[30:51] Um everyone came out. You You came out.

[30:55] They had different awards. The mayor came out. Um

[30:58] it just felt like a community. Like they were loved. They were just honored. And

[31:05] I didn't feel that with the other one. So, I was quite disappointed. Um

[31:10] So, yeah. And I uh I I don't know if you all know, but we

[31:13] have a foundation here. It is called the I Am Chosen Foundation. So, I just want

[31:18] to put on the record that next year I would like our foundation to host a

[31:24] lunch for the cadets. And be supportive with with them.

[31:59] Phoenix Rising like she said they come back. Um everything that's going on here

[32:03] is just awesome. Um I just wanted to uh personally say too, I was one of the

[32:07] people who would always say something about the uh Academy Street stop and

[32:11] Grove. Um and some people advocated for a light there. I'm so glad that it

[32:16] wasn't a traffic light, that it is a four-way stop. Because, you know, being

[32:20] that we're coming down Academy Street all the time, um not stopping, if it was

[32:24] a light and nobody's coming, we would all be frustrated. And I know some

[32:26] people don't like it, but I'm telling you it's the best thing because people

[32:30] blow the stop sign at Grove Street all the time. And now I I I I still see

[32:35] people not following it, but if you do blow the stop sign, you deserve a ticket

[32:40] because all the bumps that is coming up [laughter] to it, the extra stops, the

[32:45] stop sign on both sides. I mean, there's no reason why you shouldn't stop. And

[32:49] for me, it's safe. Like you you you pull up there, you look both ways. You know,

[32:53] I think it's going to be less accidents, whatever. So, I for one, lifelong

[32:56] Glassboro resident, lifelong Academy Street resident, I'm glad that there's a

[33:01] four-way stop there, um and it's awesome. Everything that's going on in

[33:04] Glassboro is awesome. All the building, all whatever. A lot of people don't like

[33:07] it. You hear the noise like, you know, my town is not the same. Who wants their

[33:11] town to be the same? If their town wasn't the same, then they come back and

[33:15] they say, "Oh, everybody else is doing something and we're not doing anything."

[33:18] So, um I think it's great all of the uh new stuff that's going on. And um

[33:23] whether it's the traffic concerns or whatever, I mean, it's what goes with,

[33:28] you know, building and um newness and all of that. So, um just keep up the

[33:32] great work, everybody. Um police department, fire department, everybody,

[34:18] the bathrooms out there. I want to thank the

[34:22] Spence and the Democrat Club for everything that you guys do, helping us

[34:26] with the stage and the the porta-potties in the past.

[34:35] um Mayor Wallace for being out there.

[34:37] Anyone else who was out there. The police officers was there for a while

[34:41] and they did come back like we were talking.

[34:44] watch the basketball game for a while. We talked to them. I caught their names

[35:13] to come back the next morning and it was actually after church that we

[39:04] you know, and and I'll say to the Rowland family for the for what you do

[39:08] for the community raising money for scholarships for our Glassboro

[39:11] residents. Thank you for doing that. It was a

[39:14] wonderful event and yeah, the borough as we always will do

[39:18] everything we can to support all of all of you and all the residents of

[39:22] Glassboro. So, thank you very much. To everyone that came out this evening

[39:27] that voiced their concerns or just

[39:30] sharing information or just to come out and and and learn about what's going on
