[5:38] they could go to in regard to how many years they have left before they are full and how far away

[5:46] from Morris that they are located. In regard to recycling, we have the items that we do recycle

[5:53] or areas that we have in the green guide that people can actually go to to recycle those items

[5:59] and those are listed in the document. Composting is 5% for Granny County and that is also good

[6:08] because people are starting again to move other things to better suited use and future of course

[6:23] not manufacturing but industrial use for Granny County. At this point we don't have anything

[6:28] like that and certainly with the landfill that is closed, do something for us to continue

[6:34] to look forward to in the future. For recommendations,

[6:41] which is on the pages 13, I'm sorry,

[6:47] we tracked that 11 through 13, includes all the goals that we would like to see for recycling and

[6:53] using a monitoring of the landfill, but we want to do as far as trying to obtain an alternative

[7:00] waste and waste energy type of system and energy efficiency. And then the next couple of

[7:08] pages on pages 14 through 18, I'm sorry, 16 includes all the different goals that we have that

[7:20] we are going to either continue or that we are going to start.

[7:24] Certain things like education, we are going to be working with the Farm Bureau.

[7:28] The grantee can do Farm Bureau to teach with them and act in the classroom, which is

[7:34] going to be a huge help for us.

[7:37] Some things will continue to go for grants.

[7:40] For disposal, for landfills, there will be no landfills.

[7:44] As far as any type of compost facility, we'll continue to look for companies maybe to come

[7:52] to a Grundy County specifically to have a compost facility here, and then of course, something

[7:59] for alternative waste energy technology.

[8:02] We have had in the past a couple of people that have come and talked to the committee to

[8:07] land use committee specifically, but at this point right now, they look towards the county

[8:11] and this pallet is to actually pay for a facility to come to you instead of them coming

[8:16] here on their own.

[8:18] As far as an environmental education, we will continue to work with this soil and water

[8:24] conservation district for a peri conservation program at Goose Lake Prairie, looking

[8:30] towards Green Lead Buildings trying to expand that education to our developers here through

[8:36] building and zoning office and things that you know certainly would help as far as promoting

[8:45] more recycling for our residents and the grant that we received this year for CFL recycling

[8:51] will start to institute that soon and you know that's that's a great option for us.

[8:57] Next couple of pages just kind of describes the things that we have already in the county that

[9:04] are doing specifically that we notify all of the miscellities that we put something in the

[9:10] newspaper that we have a website that includes all that information and you know that it

[9:15] really is a cooperative effort with the miscellities and I note that it is cooperative with

[9:21] the libraries. Libraries have been extremely helpful to us if it hasn't been for the libraries.

[9:27] If haven't been for them we would have never gotten as many toys during the toy drive or as many

[9:31] books, we've gotten during our book drive that we have right now.
