Alexander, the trustees, department directors and staff, chief of police and staff, fire

chief and staff. After our recent tornado this past month, I wanted to extend a heartfelt

thank you to all of you and your staff for your hard work and long hours to have the majority
[3:24]
of roles cleared in the proper area within two days in order for Commonwealth Edison to restore the
[3:30]
power. The proper area looked like a war zone after this tornado. The majority of the trees,
[3:36]
west of Crane Avenue on 170th Street have been uprooted and the homes have been destroyed.

I'm a longtime resident of Hazelcrest Proper and have never seen such destruction from a tornado.

It was wonderful to see our community come together to help each other out with personal touches
[3:52]
as a knock on the door or a phone call to see if our neighbors were okay.

Thank you to our village employees for organising housing, for residents,

whom lost their homes, belongings, organising a clothing drive

and food distribution for residents and surrounding areas.

and depositing, and whereas payroll departments collectively spend more than 2.7 trillion annually

complying with the myriad of federal and state wage and tax laws, and whereas payroll professionals
[5:39]
play an increasingly important role in ensuring the economic security of American families by

helping to identify non custodial parents and making sure that they comply with their child
[5:49]
support mandates.

And whereas payroll professionals have become increasingly proactive in educating both
