[2:16] But we had a tragic accident where a young man lost his life as a family here in Hopkins

[2:25] from a tragic accident and so I'm not going to go into a whole lot of narration on it only

[2:32] that I asked that we offer a small moment of silence for his life and to think about

[2:37] him and his family and so I will start that right now.

[3:12] Thank you very much, the, you know, I was saying this when we had tragedy accident at the

[3:20] daycare a couple of weeks ago, that we don't have strangers here in Hopkins as everyone

[3:25] knows each other and I work with Kenneth sister-in-law in Minneapolis, I know he was known

[3:35] to people here in the community, so we are grieving his loss and the loss for his family.

[3:41] and like I said we'll do a little bit further reading when the family puts together a little

[5:32] Mayor, do you want me to jump in on this one? I can jump ahead and say I'm just for a second. We've had some discussions with staff, mayor and council, about how to proceed with this matter. There have been some issues that have been brought

[5:45] to your attention. Obviously, I received information. We discussed that at a staff meeting today,

[5:50] what might be the best options for the council to move forward. My recommendation, and this

[5:55] has been to staff, and it's now to you, is to postpone this matter to a future meeting.

[6:00] Let staff review it further. Allow staff to also work on potentially a more

[6:05] authoritarian ordinance to study this matter further relative to what your ordinance has now,

[6:10] and what it could possibly say later, but the recommendation would be a motion to postpone.

[6:15] I also direct staff to come forward and issue an extension to the application out for two more months, so 60 days further,

[6:23] which would allow you time to look at the ordinance and also establish a more important should you choose.

[6:29] Staff would bring that back at a later date.

[6:32] So that's my recommendation to you tonight.
