[1:20] Buchanan County fellow nonprofit organizations in need of health or
[1:24] medical equipment, supplies, training, and education. We were founded in 1989
[1:29] and since then we have awarded about 1.1 million in Buchanan County. Uh, that can
[1:35] be to schools, nonprofit, other nonprofit organizations,
[1:38] uh, churches, hospital obviously, cities, uh, fire departments, police
[1:43] departments, you name it. as long as it's nonprofit and they're in need of a
[1:47] health or medical related item or piece of equipment, uh we'd love to support
[1:51] them. So, we're here tonight because one of the most recent grants uh that we
[1:55] supported was for the city of Independence. Um actually, this was two
[1:59] parts of of this grant. The first time around last winter, it was for about 14
[2:06] 15,000 for AEDs that would cover citywide uh buildings. And this is the
[2:12] second half of that which is roughly around the same amount that would finish
[2:15] the other parts of the buildings. Um, AEDs are crucial in life-saving
[2:19] mechanisms as you wait for EMS services to come. So, we're happy to support that
[2:24] and happy to support the other organizations that we've done these past
[2:28] couple of rounds. And yeah, now we want your picture to promote it.

[36:16] different places around here. More of a convenience thing I think for the tenant

[37:06] to lease it, we also added a termination clause in there that either party can
[37:10] terminate the lease upon 30 days written notice, said termination then occurring
[37:13] on the first of the following month. So that if for some reason the mechanic did
[37:16] come in and say, "Hey, I need that building." and they were going to do a
[37:19] multiple multi-year lease or whatever the case may be, there is an out for the
[37:23] city as well as for the tenant. If they decide that the flying club's not no
[37:26] longer tenable, they could they could just give 30 days written notice and be
[37:30] out of the lease as well. >> I know I know there was some issue that
[37:33] was going on with regard to the language of the of the lease and I know that
[37:37] there would that there was a lot of back and forth with that also involving the
[37:41] um the city the city attorney's office as well. Correct.
