[10:19] Last Monday at our regular meeting, I was asked to bring forward some quotes for outsourcing

[10:27] janitorial and we went over those quotes and it was just a discussion to

[10:32] review them and on Thursday I was asked to bring some more information regarding

[10:41] if this would be a potential savings and what it would look like and in

[10:46] between Monday and Thursday I met with department heads and elected officials

[10:51] officials. And I also met with the facilities maintenance staff. And as I said, on Thursday,

[10:59] the elected officials and department heads really very much value having our in-house

[11:05] janitorial services. They not only provide janitorial services, but they also do a

[11:12] lot of maintenance as well. And after talking to them, I presented the pros and cons

[11:18] of outsourcing and as you can see in the packet there are more pros to keeping

[11:26] janitorial in-house and there's also more savings as our current director of

[11:34] facilities will be retiring and the assistant is moving up so that is the

[11:39] savings. So the total savings to keep janitorial services in house from this

[11:51] year of 2026 going into 2027 would be 114,000 which is more savings than

[12:00] outsourcing.

[12:07] So I'm basically just asking would you guys prefer to keep

[12:11] our janitorial staff in-house or proceed with getting informal bids that

[12:19] would be posted as a publication? I think in my opinion it I think it's better to

[12:25] have it in-house keeping our personnel on and I know the janitorial crew help

[12:31] other departments when they need to move or when they need something they call

[12:35] them and and they they do that you get a contractor in here they're not

[12:40] going to be here they're not going to you know be willing to do that kind of

[12:44] thing. I feel like it's better to keep it in house. Okay. Yeah I'm in complete

[12:50] agreement too we need just keep it in house with the complexity of the

[12:54] different services I think it gives us a little more diversity to have them

[12:59] there to pick up daily. And I understand you guys are looking at ways

[13:04] to save money which is what we're supposed to do but I also would agree

[13:09] that we want to keep staff well as much as we can understand that right in

[13:16] house was going to be how much savings 114,000 and Corey I just want to say
