[8:04] we've worked very well at that so the state is updating every day out of you

[8:09] total cases anything that's going on as of yesterday the state update there's

[8:17] three hundred and thirty-four total cases in the state of Texas and they had

[8:22] five deaths unfortunately last night

[8:26] so it should be up to six there are 69 cases pending counting assignments they

[8:32] would like to let us know it's only today where those 69 additional cases

[8:36] are I did bring some literature from a different site that we've been

[8:41] monitoring and this breaks down the total cases in the United States as of

[8:47] this morning along with deaths recovery

[8:54] active cases close cases so forth

[9:01] here locally after the judge issued the Declaration last week we were live again

[9:07] screening at Lowe's here at the Family Dollar in small along with the

[9:11] courthouse all staff basic questions and temperature screening this weekend seven

[9:19] screenings going into lo they did have high-tech

[9:23] features Lowe's is restricting those at this time from inland facility which

[9:30] is a very good practice it could be hot outside allergy so forth but without a

[9:35] test from their primary care physician there's no way to tell

[9:39] so we're here educate the public and restrict kind of just in case

[9:48] we have had some complaints about the screening process those complaints have

[9:54] mostly come from individuals from Laredo or the San Antonio area that we're

[10:00] coming into katoa or into no they were not exactly happy that we were screening

[10:06] because we're one of the only places that are screening before you go

[10:11] they're saying well why isn't San Antonio

[10:15] guys we're here to protect our community with that with the screening process

[10:20] Lowe's is starting to get more food on their shelves the source here have that

[10:26] food right for our community so I believe that's a very positive thing we

[10:30] have done here especially to take care of our team

[10:35] there are some restaurants and other eateries that weren't truly complying we

[11:14] it is moving for what we're doing is trying to slow it down and do our best

[11:18] to contain it to where art is not effective our personal protective

[11:24] equipment that we have there is a national shortage it's on the news so

[11:34] medical suppliers we have received letters saying when they receive it they

[11:38] will allocate it in order

[11:44] so at this time we don't have anything on hand but

[11:49] so we are working we have some wives for the fire department that they're going

[11:54] to pull the trigger and it started selling masks for us just in case so

[11:59] we're all working together as far as a fire department related

[12:04] right now we are stretched been trying to do this we are trying to get overtime

[12:54] low settings of refusing the injury they have the right to refuse service so

[16:29] managed to also get 190 gallons of disinfect that that's used by hospital

[16:36] for viruses specifically the corona virus that's being used but we're

[16:44] looking at is and I'm open to the suggestions is that last night the

[16:52] governor said this is probably going to go on in April well schools probably

[16:59] going to be out for the year unless they have summer school and I asked me to get

[17:06] enough chemical to spray all your public buildings all your schools all your

[17:12] businesses like your post office it along all like 35 because that's where

[17:17] you run the risk of the virus of people come in and could be touched and I got

[17:21] the gloves on to second grab everything you know and it's that important is not

[17:27] a shortage of love the shortage of masks and

[17:31] and I think I'm actually really really hard to get and we may have to get to

[17:35] where the contract to sold so masks because it is a deadly virus especially

[17:43] if you're elderly the people that happen diseases and we have to respect the

[17:50] space saladna County is only allowing one person in the store at a time for

[18:57] this thing goes on then you have to provide essential services and it's just

[19:03] not right to have just the ambulance people off to jail people out the law

[19:42] a speeding only outside we don't have any positive tests

[19:59] some point we probably look at some positive results but when you control

[20:05] high traffic areas it's fine so if we do it for one one week it goes down to the

[24:46] feel that he should use his influence on all the other counties question he

[25:02] over the corridors eventually the people come to is going to happen and I be

[25:09] contaminating that then we live in enchantingly to take over citizens the

[25:16] cases are going to go up quick because test kids are coming more

[25:20] available to testing skinny quicker it's you're gonna see these numbers rise

[31:52] which is really the Commission that it's on top of all of this one of the things

[31:58] that are true about the media is that it's very we're having a difficulty to

[32:04] get into supplies that we need we do have the mass we're trying to identify

[32:09] and where to send the individuals if they need for their assessment but the

[32:15] thing is is that we're set up to do all of that we do prelim if somebody has a

[32:20] concern the best thing is for them to come to our Center at that point we will

[32:27] deal with

[32:30] mental state because we do have all the resources in compass we have medical

[32:36] dental substance abuse mental health wellness so all of those services are

[32:43] taken into consideration in assessing the individuals that come in so the best

[32:50] thing that we can promote yes if they have any kind of concerns even if

[32:56] they're not safe go to the clinic we will put them at peace and develop a

[33:02] health plan for them we know where to refer them if they need more assessment

[33:09] and we do have a program yet the individual has fevers and meet some of

[33:16] those symptoms that are being identified we have to quarantine them for some time

[33:23] to see how that develops if it's get serious and they need further assessment

[33:27] we will send them to a center what they do it we're waiting for some kids to

[33:33] assess the virus but minister say there's a shortage and we're not really

[33:39] top priority simply because rural areas have never been a priority there's going

[33:44] first to the urban city where they have already identified some cases and where

[33:51] they have to put more efforts but slowly but surely we're getting all the

[33:56] supplies that we need but most of all is that we have the process to deal with

[34:02] any individual that has concerns so instead of them having them out there

[34:07] wondering if they have it or not the best thing it says you have some

[34:14] concerns go to something through health service

[34:17] and we have a clinic here we have one in NC not for logic county I know

[34:23] chief medicine mentioned we started screening at Lowe's and it's also helped

[34:29] to allow them to stop up and be able to provide more for the public but they had

[34:35] a number of people that had high temperatures you know and whether they

[34:41] sought additional teleporter but is he and so it's our elementary assessments

[34:47] that are done to protect their population and to allow people to go

[34:53] where no or not to go in at that time pros the best thing for the researcher

[36:12] jail they will take them automatically to subject oral health and again there

[36:19] saw if you want us to set up shop someplace else yes we can do we can do

[36:24] that in and but if we to expedite it if it's one person or two person they can

[36:32] go terrific to the clinic phone all we gotta do is get a call from you

[36:35] and we'll process

[36:42] are the hours going to change alone so it's 8 to 5 Monday through Friday okay

[38:41] medication and antibiotics but we have to send them home and let them let's say

[38:50] I think it's 14 hours for a period of time to see how we develop if it gets

[38:57] more serious that's when we're probably going to have to send them to a center I

[39:02] probably it'd be for your hospital for our area who want to make sure that for

[39:08] your hospital has the test kids so we have those contacts and if not we have

[39:15] relationships with Methodist also that we can maybe

[39:19] sinem to San Antonio but it is not a whole China which is not panic that the

[39:30] individual has those symptoms there is because there's a process that we have

[39:37] to follow to make sure that we don't send everybody that feels that they have

[39:43] to uh to a testing center

[39:50] condition you asked me to follow up with their doctor or some taxes yet you make

[39:55] them make them but you suggest that they follow up and I know people

[39:59] I just haven't who or it might just have an allergy get it checked out it's very

[40:03] important get it checked out now yeah let me just let me to you an incident

[40:08] and and I know that people panic and they become seriously concerned we had

[40:15] an individual that came and we tested them we gave him data all we have to do

[40:22] and we send him home well he wasn't satisfied so the end of

[40:27] it you went to for your hospital well they tested negative here and they went

[40:34] over there to get a second opinion it was negative also but see what happens

[40:39] there is that that individual created financial burden on themselves this is

[40:44] because I'm hospital ain't gonna do it three they saw we are in a position to

[40:50] give discount but because the individual one or the second opinion and puts his

[40:57] okay but he created a different kind of bill and if you didn't have insurance

[41:04] well it's they kind of still gonna charge them you know the regular price

[41:09] so somewhere on the lung we have to

[41:13] implement something that it will be common practice and all of us had to

[41:20] sort of preach the same thing go to South Texas Royale let's start with that

[41:25] and we guarantee that who we gonna do the best and create a health plan for

[41:31] that individual that will bring some tranquility to that individual state of

[41:37] mind I think we have to go down to the harsh reality first if they do meet the

[41:48] screening they could be two to 14 days what's been put out before they exhibit

[41:52] signs of symptoms not everybody is going to have symptoms the reality is there's

[41:59] and transmitting it and they'll never have a symptom so that's one aspect that

[42:05] the we got a limit of the contact at that

[42:10] point and the other harsh reality is we're a

[42:14] rural community

[43:19] handled that that's the only exception but the rest of the county would be you

[43:27] they're saying the social distancing the hygiene washing hands continues to be

[1:06:55] handler permit to be able to prepare those those foods and then deliver them
