[4:09] Well, I know there are everywhere, but every family I met with tonight, it was just super

[4:13] exciting to meet their children and to get them into, meet their teachers, lots of smiles,

[4:19] a lot of enthusiasm. We welcome these students back on Monday next week and our

[4:27] enrollment as of the second we're at 1,230 students. You can see from the report

[4:33] there is a bit of a weight list still in some of the grades and that will help

[4:40] us to fill in some of those other places but as a board and as a budgeting

[4:46] planning purposes we've exceeded our goal for enrollment and so we will be

[4:52] sitting really well with that budget and being able to cover all those

[4:58] planning expenses. So we're excited to be there to see the growth in all of the

[5:03] grades and it'll get a little bit higher by that next board meeting. We do have

[5:09] an accreditation visit this year so we will be working. We have teachers who are

[5:15] supporting the accreditation report is in about five or six areas and so we take each of those

[5:23] areas and we have a little school and an elementary teacher that serves on that committee and they

[5:29] help get those reports ready for our accreditation visit. They've all been selected and we've

[5:35] done those meetings and then we've had a couple of sessions already with the person who's assigned

[5:40] and come to our accreditation in preparation for that.

[5:44] I believe our visit is the first week, I believe,

[5:47] of November.

[5:49] And so we just have a super exciting year

[5:52] because that's also probably close

[5:53] to when we finish construction

[5:54] and we'll have an open house.

[5:56] And so we're gonna be just running full speed

[6:01] all the way to Christmas, I think, this year.

[6:03] So we'll keep you in the loop on that accreditation visit,

[6:06] the board, you don't really have any work to do on that,

[6:09] but your support will be important for any of those committees as we try to

[6:14] gather information to complete the report and then the day of the accreditation

[6:19] visit they often will ask if we can have some board members they don't ask for

[6:25] all of you because then that becomes a meeting but you may be delegating one or two

[6:29] of you to be on site that visit day so that you can meet with one of their

[6:35] accreditation team members to answer questions and give your report on any

[6:39] sections of the school. Do you have any questions about my report? Please let me know.

[6:54] Now that the school year is starting, I'm going to go ahead and schedule a policy committee

[7:09] July reports were submitted and read the last report that Brent sent over and we may not

[7:21] come in on time, but we will come in on our budget as of right now.

[7:26] So there are a few outstanding issues that need to be addressed, so my last comment about

[7:35] coming in under budget, my main need to revise that in the next couple weeks, but as of

[7:41] right now, that's where we stand. So, from that financial perspective and reporting

[7:47] perspective, that's what I have. Rick, there's anything else you'd like to add.

[7:50] I think that's a great report. They did give us temporary usage of the classrooms for

[7:55] tonight's back to school, but as far as holding classes in their board entire school day,

[8:01] there's still some work to do for they'll give us permission to do that. So, they allow

[8:04] to have more of an open house experience but instructional time we don't have

[8:08] permission yet so unless we get that by tomorrow's on Monday those three

[8:12] teachers will have a different space to teach the classes in until we get that

[8:16] permission from financial.

[8:20] Yes, those are just the middle school art classes and music throwing classes yes and

[8:29] are there specific is there specific punch list or specific set of requirements

[8:35] So the building inspector signed off on his portion except for we did not have a Fire

[8:41] Marshal sign off.

[8:42] So the building says, I'm good as soon as you have that sign off.

[8:45] The Fire Marshal came and did his first visit.

[8:48] There was a problem with the strobes not timing.

[8:51] He came back the next week and the strobes were working but a different relay wasn't working.

[9:00] And so they're trying to fix that problem now.

[9:01] So it's been a moving target for his punch list, but he is willing to keep coming back

[9:07] and trying again.

[9:09] So, that is very gracious.

[9:10] Stella is working with her electricians to try to solve those as quick as they can.

[9:15] Unfortunately for them, it doesn't seem like it's just a quick fix, they just are still

[9:20] troubleshooting him.

[9:27] And then how about our audit committee, any slides or adventures this year?

[10:09] So we did end in a good position with cash on hand.

[10:18] as our budget increases, the day's cash on hand goes down

[10:22] because it's based on the budgeted expenses.

[10:25] So that will probably drop a little bit next month

[10:28] when we start reporting on FY27 rather than FY26.

[10:33] all the revenue and expense lines are within acceptable ranges for what budget

[10:40] variances. There were a few budget variances in a couple of adjustments that

[10:44] you'll see noted on the cover sheet. Mostly due to some USBE finance guidelines

[10:51] on where things should be recorded so they got moved around.

[10:58] end of the year in their shape. And we anticipate doing so again in the upcoming
