preservation of the public peace health
and safety of the residents of the city

enacted house bill 172 allowing
[9:53]
individuals to discharge ignite or
explode fireworks on private property on
[9:56]
certain days of the year
and the house bill provides that
[10:00]
municipal cities can choose to ban the
discharge ignition and explosion of
[10:03]
fireworks the city council has
determined that it is in the best
[10:06]
interest of the city to continue to ban
the discharge ignition and explosion of
[10:10]
fireworks is currently outlined in the
lyndhurst codified ordinances
[10:15]
this resolution is hereby declared to be
an emergency measure necessary for the
[10:18]
immediate preservation of the health
safety and well for the residents of the
[10:20]
city of lynhurst ohio therefore this
resolution shall take effect immediately
[10:24]
upon passage by the affirmative vote of
not less than five members elected to
[10:27]
council and signature by the mayor
otherwise at the earliest time allowed
