[22:43] So without trying to duplicate what we talked about on Saturday night, I'll go through and tell you a little bit about where we're at and what we're doing.

[22:54] First on my agenda is I've

[23:02] written a letter to the families of the helicopter pilots that crashed and lost their lives by this fire.

[23:09] I have them here tonight, I'm going to sign it, I'd like to include the town council as well and our town staff and make that available to everyone in the community.

[23:21] We have several blank pages, we can put behind them, the people are willing to, you're welcome to sign it, if you'd like to sign that, I will put it down to the post office tomorrow so people can, the art here tonight can stop in and sign it.

[23:36] It's small, it's a token, but we wanted to recognize them and think up to that.

[23:43] This effort is happening similarly in Fillmore, in Canache, on a reservation, and the county

[23:51] commission is doing something similar.

[23:53] So just a gesture that that's what we're doing.

[25:11] acres that's it and they're at 84% contained they've remapped it but the fire

[25:18] air hasn't grown in size in about six days, right? So they feel pretty comfortable about

[25:25] the fire. They felt comfortable about the fire when it was 6,000 acres down south of Kanosh

[25:32] and the large dust devil picked some heat up, carried it several hundred feet across the

[25:37] line and dropped it and then it ran 12 miles. So the fire team that's here will stay here

[25:44] through Wednesday. On Thursday morning, we'll transfer it to a local, the

[25:49] Fix Lake National Force to pick that up. Local firefighters will take that

[25:54] back over. So you'll see much fewer people but those are going to be here

[26:01] watching. So that's what's going on with the fire. As a community, we still have

[26:08] sand bags. We still have sand. We still have bags. We're keeping a reserve.

[26:13] Haley of 17 to 20 pallets we kind of flagged off in case we need to pick those up

[26:21] with a four-cliff or some equipment and take it somewhere where it's breached.

[26:27] Sun grow down here west of Fillmore and swallow farms delivered 25 more pallets

[26:36] of sandbags. Alan Erickson unloaded those tonight. So we've got some more in. I've had

[26:44] a group at Utah County contact me today and ask if they can deliver some more sandbags.

[26:50] That's nothing more than a service project on their behalf. They just want to help.

[26:54] So we will see additional sandbags come in.

[27:00] On Sunday, I didn't see anybody out making sandbags.

[27:03] I wasn't around much today, but I didn't see much activity there, which tells me people

[27:08] are starting to feel a little bit comfortable with where they're at, but we haven't seen

[27:13] I'm okay if we never ever ever do, but that's going to happen at some point, and so maybe when

[27:23] we start to see where our weaknesses are, we may see more sandbags being placed, or other

[27:29] more aggressive actions take place like concrete barriers or dozer line or

[27:37] trenches or ditches or burns so that's what's going on.

[27:44] I have learned that what

[27:47] comes out what used to come out of everything out of Meta Creek and

[27:53] everything out of Walker all met effectively at dead man's point and that has

[28:01] been changed and I sure at some point they'll change it back that took some

[28:05] heavy equipment so walkers nothing out of Walker should come into dead man as it

[28:10] stands today I think in a couple hours of work with some heavy equipment that

[28:15] could be changed back but right now Walker is being diverted south of town so that

[28:22] leaves meadow creek in play for us.

[28:27] The BLM did do some work in the overflow

[28:30] channel to the north coming out of out of the June Hill diversion and those

[28:38] homeowners north of town feel a little bit better about the chances with that

[28:47] work the bill was also done all their work in the foot hills with their diversion structures

[28:55] or we had city talk about erosion control structures. I am meeting with the NRCS on Wednesday.

[29:04] We're going to do a field trip and we'll be looking at some long-term planning and projects and funding

[29:12] coming from the NRCS to help us be best prepared for what may come in the next several years.

[29:22] I think, I don't know, but I think just because we get through this monsoon season, unscathed, that's not the end of it.

[29:30] I think we're going to have spring runoff for several years, so we're going to have an impact.

[29:35] the Monroe Canyon fire that happened in 2025 saw significant flooding last weekend.

[29:42] So that fires a year old and they're still seeing mud and sludge come off the

[29:47] mountain and calling chaos on both sides of that mountain, both on the Monroe

[29:53] side and on the Bear Valley Cusharam side. So I think if we extrapolate that to us we
