Please stand, please stand, please
[0:50]
stand,
[1:05]
say, prayer, please stay standing. Dear Heavenly Father,
[1:09]
we come to you tonight. We just want to say thank you so much for blessing us with the opportunity
[1:13]
to be here to one be here on another day here on earth. And then we ask for your blessing
[1:20]
for to be here for to represent the citizens of the people of our township. We just ask for you
[1:26]
to reach your hands out, touch our hearts on our minds,
[1:29]
and help keep us to where we can make good decisions
[1:32]
for the best benefit for the township.
[1:35]
In order, we just ask for you to put your hands
[1:36]
upon any of our first responders and our military
[1:39]
that are out and keep them safe and out of harm's way.
[1:43]
And if any of our military is out in a broad,
[1:46]
please bring them back home, safe and out of harm's way.
[1:50]
I mean, we love you.
[1:51]
For each of you, it's a standing man.
[1:52]
I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean,
[2:00]
I mean, I mean,
[2:02]
I just want to give everybody a reminder that if there's anyone here that would like to
[2:08]
speak about any type of subject tonight, we have a sign-up sheet up here at the podium please
[2:12]
feel free to come up and sign your names that way we know this here and we get you on the list.
[2:20]
Okay, I'd like to thank everybody here coming here tonight and, like I said, we're here
[2:26]
to make decisions here and get stuff going for our
[2:30]
talent ship and the first thing I want to do is
[2:34]
introduce it forward and to my horror right is our
[2:38]
physical officer, Miss Brandt, to my close right is
[2:41]
trustee Rusty Gervin and to my left is trustee
[2:46]
Kristen Steinway and I am trustee John Wilson.
[2:50]
If you give us a few minutes here we have a few things we need to go over with
[2:53]
for a flip and we'll be right with it.
[2:56]
I'd like to make a resolution to accept the minutes of the special meeting held on April
[3:03]
17th, 2025 at 6pm.
[3:05]
Second.
[3:07]
Ms. Dunway?
[3:08]
Yes.
[3:09]
Ms. Dunway?
[3:09]
Yes.
[3:09]
Ms. Dunway?
[3:12]
The resolution to accept the minutes of the zoning hearing held on April 17th, 2025 at 7pm.
[3:19]
Second.
[3:20]
Ms. Dunway?
[3:21]
Yes.
[3:23]
Ms. Dunway?
[3:25]
I'd like to make a resolution to accept the minutes. The regular meeting held on April 22nd, 2025, 7 p.m.
[3:32]
Second.
[3:32]
Just a moment.
[3:33]
Yes, it's Wilson.
[3:34]
Yes.
[3:35]
Yes.
[3:36]
I'd like to make a resolution to approve the April 2025 bill.
[3:40]
Second.
[3:41]
Just a moment.
[3:42]
Yes.
[3:43]
Wilson.
[3:43]
Yes.
[3:44]
I'd like to make a resolution to approve the April 2025 payroll, EFT. You've been withholding vouchers.
[3:51]
Second.
[3:51]
Just a moment.
[3:52]
Yes.
[3:52]
That feels it?
[3:53]
Yes.
[3:54]
Yes.
[3:56]
Okay.
[4:01]
This time, I want to
[4:05]
participate in the test sheet meeting is encouraged.
[4:09]
In the effort to conduct test sheet business in a really ineffective manner, the Board of Trustees
[4:13]
have adopted the following rules for public participation in conduct at test sheet meetings.
[4:18]
The public participation at the regular meeting of the Board is limited to five minutes per
[4:22]
individual speaker.
[4:24]
All comments and questions shall be addressed to the chairperson of the Board.
[4:30]
This time, I'd like to start up if there's anybody here that has any new subject that
[4:39]
they would like to talk about, bring up these or anybody
[4:50]
here on this list has something
[4:52]
to do that they would like to talk about.
[4:57]
Okay, library.
[4:59]
I'm really new.
[5:00]
I've been here before.
[5:01]
But news is on.
[5:02]
Feel free to go.
[5:02]
All right.
[5:03]
Okay.
[5:03]
Okay, there's only
[5:11]
one way to manage libraries.
[5:14]
I've visited once before since being my manager
[5:16]
on here in Bevel.
[5:17]
I like to come out of these once a year to say,
[5:19]
since you all get to meet so many different people
[5:21]
in the community and some of the people here too, also.
[5:24]
Like, let you know what we have going on the library
[5:26]
with news and see if we're like allowed
[5:28]
to make referrals to people and give the word out.
[5:33]
So, as you might be aware,
[5:36]
preparing the next budget for the state,
[5:37]
the state representative is looking
[5:38]
at different funding models for libraries.
[5:40]
And that's still a work in progress,
[5:42]
But we just want to say we really appreciate what people came out and talked about the great
[5:46]
options that they've had at libraries and for support that way.
[5:49]
And the best way to keep doing that is to come out to the library and do more things.
[5:52]
So stop in.
[5:53]
Visit us.
[5:55]
Check things out.
[5:56]
Yeah.
[5:57]
Come do more programs.
[5:58]
We have lots of free events.
[5:59]
I have way more little good events than I need just for these four.
[6:02]
So come see me if you want to.
[6:05]
You know, we've got always have reading channels going on, so we're reading's coming out
[6:09]
participate in things like that. You can book our meeting rooms, the study rooms for free,
[6:12]
and we can do the right things for you for free. So some of the things that are new,
[6:16]
since the last time I visited is we're really trying to beef up like our digital collections
[6:20]
in terms of newspapers. So for a while, we've had the New York Times where you can get full access
[6:24]
to it for you with your library card. But just this last two months ago, I think, we introduced
[6:29]
the inquire and USA Today for complete free access. It was just like if you bought the digital
[6:34]
subscription yourself. You just log in once. It remembers you professionally. It's really nice.
[6:39]
So if you're spending like $100 a month like doing the newspaper, you can say, well, that.
[6:43]
And then it's 30 on two. First, we're going to have the same thing for the Wall Street Journal.
[6:47]
We've also got a new digital service called Canopy. And that is like a streaming video for films and
[6:52]
television platforms. All free with your library guard. We have collections that focus on popular
[6:57]
materials, family friendly things and British selections. Those are all popular. You can use it with
[7:02]
or Android devices, iPhones, iPads, any kind of smart TV,
[7:06]
and chemo fires.
[7:09]
And lots of cool things coming up from the summer.
[7:11]
Summer reading is June and July.
[7:14]
This year the theme is color our world,
[7:15]
so it's a lot of me art themed.
[7:18]
So it starts on June 1st.
[7:20]
Just to sign up to do your reading, get a free book,
[7:22]
and then you get a prize
[7:23]
once you've done your 600 minutes of reading,
[7:25]
all ages can do it.
[7:26]
And then we're encouraging people to check it all the time,
[7:28]
so you can come each week,
[7:30]
and you'll get little entry forms
[7:31]
there's a lot of surprises that you can try to put in work and win. Every branch has them so
[7:36]
you're only against the best people. We're going to have a big kickoff party on June 5th.
[7:41]
We're going to have like a great Sunday catcher or a stand-up event on DIY temporary tattoos.
[7:46]
All kinds of fun things for kids. We are going to have cool critters come, which is a kind of
[7:50]
many animal petting zoo thing. That is on July nights. I can't work that.
[7:57]
And come out and see us at the Empower Youth picnic too, because we're going to be there
[8:00]
with, um, rap,
[8:04]
when is it?
[8:05]
June 4th.
[8:06]
June 5th.
[8:07]
Yes.
[8:08]
Is that over on power?
[8:10]
It's at work.
[8:11]
Is that work?
[8:11]
Yup.
[8:12]
Uh, we have a program we do over somewhere called Camp Claremont.
[8:16]
That's going to be July 24th where the kids do all kinds of different park projects.
[8:19]
And then a series we have is made out of a park where we work with Claremont County Park District.
[8:23]
And we go to different parks around the county and we do a Rick Dream.
[8:26]
We were stored.
[8:26]
We only told stories.
[8:28]
We could pick Nick when you do it.
[8:29]
And then you go on some nice time at the toothpaste.
[8:31]
So all kinds of things like that, also we've been really trying to build up our selection
[8:37]
of clothes so people can get out of beauty and make friends with other people with similar
[8:40]
interests.
[8:41]
So for our teens, during the school year, we have teen cafe every week, which is run by
[8:45]
CCNA Behavioral Health Services, and it's like an intervention program, and keep kids engaged
[8:49]
and doing healthy activities instead of being out about getting into trouble, hopefully.
[8:55]
We have an AMA club that meets every month, and we have a teen craft club that meets every
[8:59]
month also.
[9:00]
And then for all ages, we have our fans of LEGOs Club where you think you've
[9:05]
building challenges and they talk about their collections and they show and tell all the
[9:08]
stuff they've done.
[9:09]
It's kids and adults.
[9:11]
And then for grownups, we've got a club.
[9:13]
We have a Fireworks Club, which is new.
[9:15]
If you want to knit crochet, we're right over the group.
[9:17]
And we're also having donuts and dragons in the library club.
[9:21]
So.
[9:22]
I'll leave you with that.
[9:24]
Is it okay if I give you four more good events?
[9:30]
Thank you for all the updates and it sounds like you've got a bunch for us too.
[9:35]
I've got seven more for anybody as well.
[9:39]
Thank you.
[9:41]
Thank you.
[9:44]
Is there anybody else thinking new?
[9:47]
Okay.
[9:48]
I have something new.
[9:52]
Find it.
[9:57]
Okay, as for trustees, we have a, there's a district 10 public works integrating committee
[10:07]
that's being put together.
[10:09]
They are asking for all the county ships to vote on to three people to represent us
[10:16]
what it has to do with, so there's a three-year term and these three people that we would vote
[10:24]
for here is will represent Claremont County and for like any state fund or anything
[10:34]
how the days will just disperse it out to old and how portions and stuff. So they're
[10:40]
asking for us to take a vote on these. One, two, three, four, seven people here and I was
[10:53]
So we could take a boat to see who we want to because I need to send this back to
[10:58]
on the making frame and impact.
[11:00]
Yeah, but they mean a rebel, yeah, they do.
[11:03]
They mean they're a regular store.
[11:04]
Yeah, a neighbor.
[11:05]
Okay, because I agree to the others, I'll have a couple of them on the regular.
[11:12]
So, I don't know what kind of.
[11:17]
Yeah, somewhere in Bollard and looks like the very bottom one.
[11:19]
Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's what I'm going to recognize, yeah, okay.
[11:24]
Well, what I will do then is since we need to like to make a motion to send in this
[11:31]
dorm to have Alan Freeman from Pierce Township and Tom Pet from New York Township to represent
[11:37]
us on the Township appointments for the District 10 public works of integrating committee.
[11:48]
Yes, Mr. Wilson?
[11:50]
Yes, Mr. Wilson?
[11:51]
Yes.
[12:01]
Okay, I'll just turn that in.
[12:04]
Okay, so then this time it is 7-11.
[12:11]
I would like to close the public participation.
[12:15]
And at this time, I'd like to open up the reports part of our meeting.
[12:20]
And the first one and a half to go here is the Street Department, Mr. Stanley.
[12:30]
Cemetery reports in front of you had 15 burials for them, but April took in six foundation
[12:40]
orders, sold seven graves, six of those were in township, one of those were out of the
[12:46]
tells themselves,
[12:49]
cemetery were moaned three times. So I have no cemetery any
[12:54]
questions.
[12:56]
No, I don't. The senate, Mr. Irwin. Good. We're in report April,
[13:03]
four
[13:06]
trees have been down, several locations, several days, our barn and
[13:12]
assistance of two of those. Have one new stereotypical on the
[13:21]
and free things for that.
[13:25]
Continuing burning of case road during this wet season,
[13:29]
we successfully replaced the carbonyl pizza road.
[13:36]
It was a 30 inch by 33 feet long on this road
[13:40]
with very minimal complaints maintained.
[13:47]
Well, the double elliptical pipes have been
[13:51]
number now, Roger Lane. That is 30 inch by 47 by 26 long hubs too.
[14:01]
Last thing ahead, I would
[14:03]
like to be able to purchase 4, 12 foot long, 5 foot wide, 34 inch plates, skill place for
[14:11]
the maintenance department. We have 4, 10 foot by 5 foot, 34 inch plates. Now, two of them are
[14:18]
one to roads right now on the collapsing and it leaves me with two. I need to get a longer place
[14:28]
to stand, longer distances like the one out of a rocket lane. It's only a seven-foot span,
[14:36]
but the pipe is on an angle, so therefore I lose distance. I do have some temporary plates bar
[14:43]
from Windsberg to Township, no, I need to get them back to it.
[14:48]
12-foot place will take care of Roger's lane, but it will not take care of every call or
[14:55]
every place where we have it.
[14:56]
Just keep in mind there are still covenants out there.
[15:00]
That are failing that will probably have to be farmed out for the size of the call works and the death of the callers. And the size of the plates it would take to be on a call set. The reason of going with this size, I have to be able to handle the plates with the machines we have. Anything bigger starts to get out of danger. The price of these plates with the rings installed somewhere in the area.
[15:29]
$6,400. The steel mills that make this, it fluctuates. I got this price two weeks ago.
[15:37]
It's a lot of them fluctuate a few dollars. One of them.
[15:40]
It's $6,400 each for both.
[15:43]
For four of them.
[15:44]
For four of them.
[15:46]
Yes, and that's with the D rig. That means 16 D rigs.
[15:51]
It's the same four on each work.
[15:53]
So you're going to get the 12-footer?
[15:55]
Yes.
[15:56]
What I have now from Williamsburg is 12 foot by six foot wide and what size
[16:02]
were these plates again? There you go, 12, 5, wide, 3, 4, 3, big.
[16:27]
I think it makes sense. Because I know he bars a part of that, so I think we need
[16:35]
and should have borrowed a good borrow there
[16:38]
and never use them.
[16:39]
Yeah.
[16:42]
Well, the agreement, okay.
[16:44]
Well, at this time, I make a motion
[16:47]
to purchase four of the road steel plates
[16:53]
that are 12 foot long, five foot wide,
[16:55]
three quarter inch thick for the total
[16:57]
of $6,400.
[17:00]
How's it?
[17:02]
In this time, would you ask to listen?
[17:04]
Yes.
[17:05]
Yes.
[17:09]
It's called out there on pitch roads here. Look did a good job. Thank you. They're looking out
[17:13]
It went real easy real good just because we were able to shut traffic down for that day and a half
[17:19]
Basically, but yeah, it's really good. Let's see if you want to work out your thing
[17:24]
But
[17:27]
with these plates it has been so wet. We have been using the place that I have
[17:33]
To get closer to where we're burying. We use this plate to cross the ditch and to
[17:38]
relief that our distance from our panel carry burrows are shortened in
[17:43]
distance from our panel carry. Some of the graves are you know obviously fresh
[17:50]
but it's helping us there also. Last I have the tractor that we put on
[17:59]
from God deals. The auction closed yesterday at noon. I had a reserve on it for $2,000.
[18:11]
It brought $1800. We have not clicked the button yet to let it go for $1800. That's
[18:20]
your own call. I don't think I'm going to do that. I think I screwed through the process
[18:26]
again, then truck reserve.
[18:30]
I'm not seeing that. No, we could okay, but if it took $1800
[18:34]
and right now, the truck reserve. Yeah, and that because he hasn't been, nothing's been
[18:38]
the S or no correct. That's kind of sale. That is correct. If you think what we do about
[18:43]
it, I thought I had to expect a good process. Yeah. That's the old way. All the change I
[18:49]
think. Right. We, we, the reserve we knew was 2000. We did not have the reserve set on
[18:56]
there for this thing. So the way God deals is if we could put that reserve dollar amount
[19:01]
on there for the rep, it would have got to that point. Since we didn't reach it, it would
[19:05]
have just answered everything out. We have to re-bid everything out. So if I'm not having
[19:10]
the reserve, it keeps bidding. You get a high bid. When cut off, we have the right to accept
[19:17]
that bid or decline bid. So we might accept the order decline to anything.
[19:23]
So the reserve that was that was really set in turn, not only for us, not on what it used to be.
[19:32]
They did it right, but that don't change it right.
[19:40]
I mean, that's pretty close
[19:42]
If we don't need it, I think
[19:44]
You know, one of the undergraduate workers is on any Roger's house
[19:49]
Are there places that are outside?
[19:55]
Well, at that point, I'd recommend that we lower the reserve to $1800, which is the highest
[20:03]
bid.
[20:05]
And we accept the bid for the tractor that is on the up deals.
[20:11]
Also good.
[20:13]
This time?
[20:13]
Yes.
[20:14]
Yes.
[20:15]
Yes.
[20:25]
Well, thanks.
[20:26]
Thank you.
[20:27]
Well, do we need to do the CDL?
[20:30]
Yeah, yeah, in front of you is the contract, okay, there's two copies. I need you to sign
[20:36]
them both. I will allow them, or you can found them, whatever you like. How's your house
[20:42]
you're doing? I have to talk to them, they have to have the opportunity. Have you seen
[20:49]
it be here? Yeah. Okay, so any objections or anything? We're good with it? No, we're good with
[20:55]
Okay, so at this time, I'll let the motion to accept the reimbursement agreement with
[21:02]
Denzler Onslauch or $6,606.67 to take the CDL training.
[21:10]
I'll second.
[21:12]
Ms. Dunley?
[21:12]
Yes.
[21:13]
Yes.
[22:02]
I guess we have had a discussion about the concrete for the shelter, did you get, but you have
[22:10]
any numbers together?
[22:11]
I do not have.
[22:11]
Do you have for the next meeting this summer?
[22:14]
The fourth week meeting?
[22:17]
Yes.
[22:20]
Good to investigate.
[22:21]
Do you need me back there?
[22:23]
If you want me to follow, I'll go here.
[22:26]
That's fine.
[22:26]
One of the copies going to him and we're keeping the other
[22:29]
in the mouth.
[22:30]
They're, what are we going to move on to?
[22:31]
Sorry.
[22:32]
Does one of the copies go back to him?
[22:35]
I was thinking that.
[22:36]
Yeah, I think that makes sense.
[22:38]
So that way he has one and then you've got one in your file.
[22:40]
Yeah.
[22:41]
Thank you.
[22:43]
I'm sorry John, one last thing.
[22:47]
I'll be doing my first round of footers for the headstones tomorrow, and I'm obviously there before we left for work.
[22:55]
We're forming the footers. I got a few work to do, before we left for work, they were filling up with water.
[23:00]
So 7 o'clock will be valley water and nothing goes all the way out. If anybody has nothing to do, what can I do?
[23:09]
I have a dance for one. You need another boss on each other.
[23:11]
I do recipes.佛
[23:14]
matter. So take
[23:17]
your code. Oh,
[23:20]
thank you. Thank you.
[23:23]
For your work.
[23:29]
At this point,
[23:34]
I'd like to go move on to the fire report with chief sew-o,
[23:38]
chief new know, wanted to. Well, we can
[23:45]
try to do two things a month.
[23:46]
I don't think he's going to come.
[23:48]
Sorry about that.
[23:50]
I don't think so, right?
[23:51]
Very good to see you.
[23:54]
Okay. April 20, 25.
[23:56]
Fire at Masterport.
[23:57]
We did a 177 calls for the month.
[24:02]
We had 57 fire calls.
[24:05]
No structure fires.
[24:06]
We did have four MBAs last month with injuries.
[24:10]
Two of those involved in tramits.
[24:12]
We did have one fatality.
[24:15]
and air care was called for two of those details. I had four open burns, four
[24:23]
trees down. I'll just reiterate what Ed had said. Ed had assisted us in getting
[24:28]
those trees out of the roadway, so that's the big help when he brings that
[24:32]
machinery in there to get that. So thanks to Ed. We did have two boat details for
[24:39]
a month, 29 medical assists. We made 26 calls in our township, and 25 calls into the village.
[24:47]
We gave mutual aid six times, and we received mutual aid once. Our times, and we're out,
[24:56]
which is up a couple of seconds. They're 1.4 minutes, and then the response time on scene was 4.8 minutes.
[25:04]
I'm happy to report for the first time in months that we had no fire loss or new content
[25:10]
loss there.
[25:10]
So that was good.
[25:12]
And no injuries or deaths on the fire side.
[25:15]
We did 120 EMS calls, we had 122 patient contacts, we did 56 of the EMS calls in our township
[25:23]
58 into the village.
[25:25]
We gave Mutuade six times and we received Mutuade four times.
[25:38]
We did transport to the hospital 72 times last month, and we put a total mileage of 3,375
[25:51]
miles on our ambulance in the month of April, so we have 15,000 miles so far for the
[26:00]
ambulance mileage.
[26:03]
So the run highlights for the month we obviously with the river flooding we
[26:07]
had assisted Franklin Township on two different boat details to report the vehicles floating in the
[26:13]
water. Both times we did not put our boat in the water just due to the river conditions. There was
[26:22]
no one was a camper that was floating down the river that was unoccupied. The other one we did not
[26:29]
find anything. So, which was good. We did assist in enrichment with their flooding operations
[26:35]
down in the village. We offered station coverage for them for eight hours on day one of it
[26:41]
and then assisted with their flood operations in the command trailer for the day.
[26:48]
We had several, even though our run volume was down for last month, we did have several high
[26:54]
QD runs for the month with auto accidents and treatments and your patients, we had some fairly
[27:01]
sick patients that we just had on the EMS side as well that we'll get to here later on down
[27:07]
in the report there.
[27:10]
I did get to go to the FDIC as I'd asked last month in Indianapolis. I didn't
[27:15]
speak to several of the vendors for ambulance manufacturers there. Still two-year delivery,
[27:22]
when we get a water one and the pricing was a little bit less than what I was expecting.
[27:28]
So 280 to 350,000. Of course, that was in April. So by the time October comes around it,
[27:36]
it could be more or less. But we do plan to start that process here in June and start speccing
[27:44]
something to try to get some good hard numbers on that.
[27:50]
number three there are 2017 ambulance was dropped off yesterday over in
[27:56]
Alexandria Kentucky to a kidney collision center that was a recommendation by
[28:01]
the insurance adjuster they're going to have the ambulance for about two weeks
[28:06]
the total cost of damage was estimated at $7,652 and 25 cents first
[28:18]
First time we had ever been to that shop, impressive facility, does a lot of large trucks,
[28:23]
fire trucks, semis, cars, large paint booths, framework, so found some things out there
[28:30]
for this even for us, for working on our trucks for front end alignments, or radiators, repairs,
[28:37]
they kind of do it all there, so they tore this through Jerry and I went over, they tore
[28:42]
this through the facility to show it, so I feel pretty confident and comfortable with
[28:47]
what the work they're going to do, what we've seen there.
[28:49]
So we've finally got the maintenance of the Bay Doors completed by overhead door last
[28:55]
week.
[28:56]
They had found several door rollers on the doors that are nylon.
[29:01]
They recommended they get replaced to metal rollers, just due to the weight of the doors.
[29:06]
As the doors go up and now we're kind of in my lungs, just keep wearing them down, waiting
[29:11]
on a price quote to see what that would cost to replace those.
[29:16]
and then the door that had failed there late last year, there was an ordering issue, it did not get ordered.
[29:25]
That's been corrected and it has been reordered, so I don't know when that's going to be in.
[29:31]
But that was, has been corrected, so that's all that I have for old business there.
[29:38]
Any questions? Mr. Durban?
[29:40]
I don't know. Hey, I don't want to move this on.
[29:44]
We did our angle testing of all of our STVAs and our masks.
[29:49]
We have to have that once a year per an FPA.
[29:52]
They come down, make sure all the regulators, all the alarms,
[29:56]
all the backup fails systems are good.
[29:58]
Make sure that all the masks.
[30:00]
For all of our firefighters are working properly. That was over a two-day period. Vocal pool was here doing that. So that's something we do every year that we require to do to keep the equipment and service. Crews are going to start our annual host testing this month. That all the fire hose, once again, that's something that we do every year. We get all the hose off the truck, stretch it out, fill the water, pressurize it, make sure that we don't have any host failures, any leaks.
[30:28]
weeks. So think about today, we probably have about a mile and a quarter of fire
[30:34]
hose that will be born off and reloading here in the next several weeks.
[30:42]
We did
[30:42]
have some employee injuries for the months. I had made you all aware of one of
[30:48]
our part-time personnel suffered an knee injury back on the 10th. He is currently
[30:54]
off work. He is able to do light duty at his full-time job. He has been, he's got his MRI,
[31:01]
seeing the orthopedic on the term right now so he'll be able to come back to work. I've
[31:07]
been working with him on getting all the paperwork filed through BWC. So there's a lot of hoops
[31:14]
and steps he has to go through with that. So it might be several weeks before they do anything
[31:19]
and there is a possibility he may have to have surgery. So I don't know yet.
[31:23]
so I'll keep you guys advised on that. We did have three other personnel on one of our
[31:30]
auto accidents that had a blood exposure as well as a nurse from CareFlight on the patient.
[31:36]
Patient was really injured, very sick, a lot of blood in the ambulance.
[31:43]
They all were sent, as soon as we found, I sent all three of our employees to be tested
[31:49]
at Mercy at the start of the process so they got older blood drawn and they will just kind of be a step process
[31:57]
follow up with their doctors and get tested over the next few months to make sure that there was no infection from that patient.
[32:06]
Everybody returned to work but they were all back to work the next day and they were the next couple shifts.
[32:14]
So it provides some number four there at the last at the second meeting there on April.
[32:21]
Um, I'd ask that the board and you accepted the hiring of firefighter medic,
[32:25]
paramedic, Bethany, Disher as our next full timer, which will be starting this Friday.
[32:30]
Um, I would like to swear Bethany in tonight, um, where she starts.
[32:47]
If
[32:51]
you want to raise your right hand, repeat after me.
[32:54]
I bet the Yale Disher, do solemnly swear that I will support the Constitution of the United States
[33:03]
and the Constitution of the State of Ohio, I will faithfully discharge the duties.
[33:09]
I would like to thank you for joining us to charge the duties.
[33:12]
Set forth as.
[33:15]
Set forth as.
[33:16]
Firefighter paramedics for take township.
[33:18]
Firefighter paramedics for take township.
[33:20]
Claremont County, state of Ohio.
[33:22]
I'm on town, state of Ohio.
[33:23]
According to the best of my ability and understanding.
[33:25]
According to the best of my ability and understanding.
[33:28]
I further swear.
[33:29]
I further share.
[33:30]
To uphold my responsibilities and actions.
[33:32]
To uphold my responsibilities and actions.
[33:35]
To my fellow firefighters.
[33:36]
My fellow firefighters.
[33:38]
Residents of take township.
[33:40]
and bill is above and all others I am called to help in a time of need I swear to
[33:48]
follow lawful order and always do my best I
[34:01]
just find two I want to recognize a few
[34:15]
We were called to an ending problem for a subject in a vehicle that take out some mailboxes back on April 13th.
[34:25]
The crew got to the scene, got to a patient, realized his patient was having a serious medical condition.
[34:33]
Got him in the ambulance, once in the ambulance, put him on the EKG, looked at the rhythm, started kind of doing some other care that they were trying to get the vitals.
[34:43]
started running. Second, EKG found out the patient was having a heart attack. They
[34:49]
were in or out to the hospital. Things just got getting worse with the patient.
[34:54]
They called the hospital, issued a stimulus alerts. So we went to Anderson Mercy
[34:59]
with this patient. Make sure that they were ready. Once they got down there,
[35:05]
patient was taking was in the cat lab within an hour of us getting the patient
[35:09]
to the hospital and in that getting stents for this patient. So within a matter of two hours
[35:16]
of the crew making patient contact the patient was at the hospital in the cat lab getting stents.
[35:25]
Two days later the patient was discharged.
[35:29]
So at this time I would like to recognize
[35:33]
Bethany Descher and Matt Bowman for Bethany was the paramedic on there and Matt
[35:41]
was the ENT, so I'd like to recognize you too for your U.S. care if you'd like to
[35:45]
come up, please.
[36:01]
That doesn't happen a lot. We try to get things in there. There's a lot of stuff, you know, a lot of things that we try to do in the field to be able to get there.
[36:08]
thing, but if we don't get our equipment coming there sending that to the hospital with
[36:13]
cat lab getting in, they activate their their folks come into the hospital, you know, outcomes
[36:18]
may be different. So the technology is so much better, so good job to be crew on that. So thank
[36:24]
you very much. Thank you. I can recognize our chain of struggle on our fire fire paramedics.
[36:32]
She's completed her NEMS 3 and 400 training. This training we use to handle manage large scale
[36:38]
incidents. Our officers who are all required to have that. These folks, when
[36:46]
officers may not be here, these full-timers are stepping up in our roles in
[36:49]
our responsibilities. So it's important for them to have the training, have the
[36:53]
knowledge, knowing what forms and things may need to be filled up down the line.
[36:58]
We have large scales of events. So the goal is to hopefully get these all our
[37:03]
full-time staff for the next few years trained at this level. These courses are offered through
[37:11]
a high EMA. They're a free course, so it's three days and two days. It's boring sometimes,
[37:18]
but it's well worth it. You get a lot out of it, so she had completed that training over the last
[37:24]
couple months.
[37:28]
Firefighter Privat College, where it's completed, is one year probation, and the
[37:32]
to have approved that. I would ask the Board of Trustees to remove firefighter
[37:37]
metacogra from his one-year probation and place him in good standing with
[37:40]
the department.
[37:44]
I'd like to recommend the Board to remove firefighter
[37:48]
permanent account papers from his one-year probation and place him and get
[37:52]
standing with the department. I'll second.
[37:56]
Yes, Billton? Yes, I have received a letter of resignation from
[38:05]
Firefighter AT Dakota Day just due to personal reasons that the officers have accepted.
[38:11]
I would ask this kind of the Board of Trustees accept the resignation of Firefighter AT Dakota
[38:16]
Day to be in good standing if she was to ever change things down the road and want to come back.
[38:24]
I'd like to recommend that the Board of Trustees accept the
[38:27]
Regulation of firefighter EMT, Decoder Day, and good standing.
[38:31]
Second.
[38:32]
I think?
[38:33]
Yes.
[38:34]
Yes.
[38:36]
I had two applications for cadets that are cadet advisors and the authors that both accepted.
[38:44]
The first one is for Owen O'Neill.
[38:46]
O'Neill is the son of our captain, Sean O'Neill.
[38:49]
His grandfather, Chuck, was assistant chief on the department for many years,
[38:54]
as well as Owen's uncle Chuck is a member of the department too.
[39:02]
Owen will be a freshman next year at St. Xavier.
[39:08]
The second one would be Levi Parker Wilson.
[39:11]
Parker is the grandson of retired chief Stowewell,
[39:15]
and he will be starting his freshman year
[39:17]
on high school this fall about the tape.
[39:20]
I would ask that the board accept Owen O'Neill
[39:23]
and Levi Wilson for a one-year probation as cadets.
[39:27]
This point I like the board to make a recommendation
[39:30]
to the board except I went on meal and Levi Wilson
[39:33]
for a one-year probationary as cadets.
[39:37]
Is this timely?
[39:38]
Yes, it's welcome.
[39:39]
Yes, it's different.
[39:41]
And last but not least, ask the board if we could go
[39:44]
to executive session to discuss an ongoing personnel issue
[39:48]
that's being delivered to the party.
[39:52]
Okay, this moment, I can recommend that we get an executive session and
[39:59]
certified to ORC 1-2-1-2-2-2-2,
[1:01:15]
All right. And this time, I'd like to make motion to adjourn, is that the session time is
[1:01:23]
Okay,
[1:01:27]
and at this time, I move the re-open the regular, uh, may meeting the time is
[1:01:33]
up.
[1:01:39]
This time, like, yeah, the closing.
[1:01:41]
Yes.
[1:01:41]
Yes.
[1:01:43]
All right.
[1:01:44]
Um, next we have on here is the zoning department with Mr. Mayor.
[1:01:53]
If I may, I'd like to yield to Deputy Vice-Person.
[1:01:58]
I have to say something he's wanting to say.
[1:02:03]
No, no.
[1:02:03]
No, no.
[1:02:04]
Okay.
[1:02:05]
Well, you don't have to.
[1:02:06]
You don't have to.
[1:02:07]
Oh, about.
[1:02:08]
Did you pick my name?
[1:02:08]
Oh, I have to.
[1:02:09]
I have to.
[1:02:10]
No, I already discussed it with the Chief.
[1:02:12]
Oh, okay.
[1:02:13]
No, no, no, no.
[1:02:14]
Okay.
[1:02:14]
That's what I'm asking.
[1:02:16]
I'm interested in waiting to hire him.
[1:02:18]
I'm not interested in the matter.
[1:02:19]
I'm not interested in the matter.
[1:02:20]
I'm not interested in the matter.
[1:02:21]
I'm not interested in the matter.
[1:02:22]
If you go to an index assessment, you have to go ask that.
[1:02:31]
All right.
[1:02:32]
For the month of April 2025,
[1:02:36]
I hate permits issued.
[1:02:39]
One above ground pool of commercial sign, a deck,
[1:02:43]
residential fence, two residential accessory buildings,
[1:02:47]
and two single family dwellings.
[1:02:50]
I want 7-Eleven transfer,
[1:02:53]
two locksplits, and three new street addresses.
[1:02:55]
The total project improvement cost was $690,663.50 and $2,425 application fees were collected.
[1:03:12]
So, our activity for the month at 34 voicemails, 60 phone calls in and 66 Apple and call the place.
[1:03:22]
the unresolved halls on there related to a complaint issue out on
[1:03:31]
Q32 somebody with demoing a building and I made a lot of phone calls over to
[1:03:35]
county departments and so they're all but it's still not completely resolved yet
[1:03:40]
so they're all related to that same issue.
[1:03:48]
One violation case that was
[1:03:50]
closed out completely. That was 2, 6, 0, 6, 204. That house, the property sale closed
[1:04:00]
on May 7, to the new owner. So with two active violation cases still open, and I am re-opening
[1:04:09]
one related to H-based storage. And I'm trying to work with him, not if he's in compliance
[1:04:17]
with the terms of his own
[1:04:20]
certificate for his Fencing.
[1:04:22]
And also, you have not relocated his building yet on the property.
[1:04:27]
So that breaks me in violations.
[1:04:34]
The other violation was the business and proper rich subdivision.
[1:04:40]
That one, I talked to the real periodist sample to be closed at the end of the month.
[1:04:45]
So that one will be resolving as well through to new owners to
[1:04:55]
complain.
[1:04:56]
So I'm investigating.
[1:04:58]
22 of those are continuing in three are new this month in the month of the 56
[1:05:06]
miles on the.
[1:05:08]
For questions,
[1:05:16]
do I need those details?
[1:05:18]
No, I don't know.
[1:05:20]
Questions.
[1:05:22]
Something.
[1:05:22]
Okay, we'll.
[1:05:24]
Okay.
[1:05:25]
I'll move on for old business trustee resolution.
[1:05:28]
2025 zero four zero eight.
[1:05:30]
It's being tracked, the zoning case 24, 7 SB, that's for the zoning map amendment on the three parcels on 133 from C1 to A.
[1:05:43]
The county regional planning commission will hear that on May 20th.
[1:05:49]
at their hearing on the 5 p.m. and on May 6, the zoning commission scheduled the public hearing
[1:05:57]
for June 3rd at 6 p.m. at their next regular meeting,
[1:06:04]
meeting when they get their recommendation,
[1:06:06]
they'll bring back here for you all to consider scheduling next stage for the public hearing here.
[1:06:15]
On to the second round of the public survey, it's still ongoing, which was a follow-up from the
[1:06:21]
public engagement about April 4th. It's available on the website and Fire Department did share that as well as of yesterday morning at 8 a.m.
[1:06:33]
We're still stuck at only 10 responses so I'm open to suggestions of how we can get that more exposure to get more input from County residents.
[1:06:45]
It's
[1:06:49]
one of the double sign, but there's a lot of big signs.
[1:06:55]
have a physical, I mean we're kind of, you can put something at the birthbed.
[1:07:02]
Yeah, but that's not so obvious.
[1:07:03]
Yeah.
[1:07:07]
Okay.
[1:07:08]
Just just some thought, like, you know, share it with people some more, I mean, anybody that
[1:07:12]
can know that they, I believe the posting on the Fire Department's Facebook page is shareable.
[1:07:18]
I just, I don't know, we know a lot more responses on the first ground than we're getting on this
[1:07:23]
one.
[1:07:23]
And I'm not certain as to why that is, but I'll repose to begin on Facebook, the
[1:07:31]
Bethel pages on their last time when I gave you got more response. I can do that.
[1:07:36]
I'll be nice. Thank you. You're welcome.
[1:07:39]
So yeah, it's still up there. If anybody has any questions, there are there are paper copies
[1:07:45]
here as well in the entry way. I've been kind of keeping track of it. I don't think anybody
[1:08:09]
I'm sorry.
[1:08:14]
I didn't hurry. We talked to a village more about putting on the post. We can put it on their sign.
[1:08:19]
I don't know, we'll sign it, we'll look it up and try that at town.
[1:08:23]
Let me do that.
[1:08:25]
Other medias come down to people, share it.
[1:08:27]
Yeah.
[1:08:28]
One community who's private.
[1:08:30]
This little site, Bob Hunter, have you noticed yet?
[1:08:32]
Oh, yes.
[1:08:33]
Oh, it's Donna's community service bank.
[1:08:36]
She's on the board.
[1:08:39]
My director.
[1:08:39]
So I guess her.
[1:08:41]
Okay.
[1:08:41]
That would be great.
[1:08:43]
You may even.
[1:08:44]
The library.
[1:08:46]
The library.
[1:08:47]
I've got a flyer hanging up in the library at their hosting section.
[1:08:55]
I've put some more down at the feed mill.
[1:08:58]
I need to put another one on notices down and save a lot.
[1:09:01]
I need to go put another one up there.
[1:09:03]
So I'm going to try and keep these flyers up.
[1:09:05]
But, you know, they're longer.
[1:09:06]
They're there.
[1:09:07]
The more they are likely to disappear like I know that they fall off or whatever.
[1:09:12]
We get destroyed.
[1:09:12]
So, I'm just trying to keep that input the one I can.
[1:09:18]
Yeah, let's try and give it on the science.
[1:09:21]
I think that's a great suggestion.
[1:09:23]
And then, share it on Facebook.
[1:09:26]
And we'll do that.
[1:09:27]
You know, I'm in the neighborhood.
[1:09:28]
It just says visit the website to see.
[1:09:31]
Then where they can see it on the information on the website.
[1:09:33]
There's the sign tell to go to the website to get the information.
[1:09:37]
I'm going to pop up.
[1:09:38]
There's a way it's on a whole paragraph.
[1:09:40]
Right.
[1:09:41]
Yeah, just make sure we reference.
[1:09:43]
But it's related to the land use planning to be know what it is and there's like maybe land use planning survey and then yeah
[1:09:50]
John I think directly to the website
[1:09:56]
Use grants
[1:09:58]
Sign in region coaching
[1:10:01]
You know that they all love a post that they're willing to do. Yeah, I mean you can ask
[1:10:08]
Marathon you know what they do that doing again on the corner. Yeah
[1:10:12]
The village is going to do, I think they either bought it, they're going to buy it, but they're
[1:10:18]
going to put their own sign there, just like what Grant has for in the future, so you
[1:10:22]
know that.
[1:10:23]
I mean, you could use this.
[1:10:24]
Try to get it going.
[1:10:25]
So we have a longer grant on Monday.
[1:10:26]
Yeah.
[1:10:27]
A lot.
[1:10:27]
We can ask.
[1:10:28]
We can ask them to get there all the way there.
[1:10:29]
That would be great.
[1:10:30]
So that's a good topic.
[1:10:32]
It's going to be fine.
[1:10:32]
It's going to be fine.
[1:10:33]
It's going to be fine.
[1:10:33]
It's going to be fine.
[1:10:33]
It's going to be fine.
[1:10:34]
It's going to be fine.
[1:10:34]
It's going to be fine.
[1:10:34]
And yeah, he's got the bill and we'll get it to topic.
[1:10:38]
Okay, I appreciate all the ideas on that.
[1:10:46]
I would skip a quick update about zoning code enforcement
[1:10:49]
and permitting software.
[1:10:52]
I think we talked about this before,
[1:10:54]
but the funding opportunity grant that came available
[1:10:57]
through House Bill 315 opened on April 21st
[1:11:01]
and was over capacity on April 25th.
[1:11:05]
They only allocated $2 million statewide, so it wouldn't have covered what we were hoping
[1:11:13]
to do with it anyway.
[1:11:15]
Yes, it was more focused on the includes and retracts and plain.
[1:11:21]
So there was that.
[1:11:23]
So I have one more demo scheduled for next Wednesday with I work, which that is a product
[1:11:31]
that had been recommended by Taylor Corbett as well.
[1:11:34]
I think that's what they use for table temperature, I believe.
[1:11:38]
Which one, I'm sorry?
[1:11:39]
I work.
[1:11:40]
It was three.
[1:11:44]
But follow up to that, I just think it would be good if we
[1:11:47]
had some sense of the budget idea around what we might want.
[1:11:51]
We might be able to allocate to that.
[1:11:53]
And just really to determine whether it is a worthwhile use
[1:11:57]
time right now, continue trying to find it if we're not going to be able to have any funding for
[1:12:04]
that.
[1:12:07]
So just, you know, we don't have to, I just want to put it before you say, like, do we really
[1:12:12]
want to keep pursuing this? I've probably got four contenders ranging, I'll permanently talk about
[1:12:20]
some time ago, ranging from about 6,000 to about $25,000 per year annual subscription. So the
[1:12:29]
The go-go products, Mr. Wilson, that you have brought up, that one's in around 23,000
[1:12:34]
a year, but that's full suite, all the models, so that one is a little different than it
[1:12:42]
has that community feedback.
[1:12:44]
Right.
[1:12:44]
The community CRM, the 3-1-1 thing that we're talking about, you know, it's an interesting problem.
[1:12:54]
There are a lot of different solutions, and cloud permanent is very focused only on permitting
[1:12:59]
and non-code unfortunately.
[1:13:03]
So, like I said, Franklin Township adopted without permit.
[1:13:07]
It's got to call out to Jim Lawson,
[1:13:09]
want to talk shop with him, see how he likes it.
[1:13:12]
See if there are any issues that they had with their integration.
[1:13:16]
And I do have referrals from another one of the platforms,
[1:13:21]
trying to think for some people from Indiana and maybe
[1:13:24]
one from Ohio to talk with about their product.
[1:13:26]
Let's see what they thought about it.
[1:13:30]
One of those referrals was somebody
[1:13:33]
that had selected cloud permit
[1:13:35]
and then very quickly after decided
[1:13:39]
to move to a different solution,
[1:13:41]
from various continents.
[1:13:44]
And how much was the cloud permit?
[1:13:47]
A cloud permit was around
[1:13:51]
just 6,000 per year.
[1:13:58]
And I have a solution,
[1:13:59]
and it's called SDL Connect.
[1:14:02]
I'm looking at, it's coming in around 85, 8600.
[1:14:08]
Go Gov was 23, 24.
[1:14:13]
And my Gov from Tyler technologies,
[1:14:16]
that's what the village actually uses as well.
[1:14:19]
And it was probably the most expensive.
[1:14:21]
I think it was in around the 25, 26.
[1:14:25]
When
[1:14:28]
you're breaking down those,
[1:14:30]
is this you have to look at is it really apples App is comparison on the features?
[1:14:38]
The difficulty of software shopping.
[1:14:43]
So, if there are, if you have any more questions about that,
[1:14:47]
I don't want to move on from you. I want to make that. No, I don't have any questions right now,
[1:14:53]
but I agree with you. It probably does make sense to try to get a plane together and a budget.
[1:15:00]
Fine. So we can work on that. You
[1:15:06]
know, food forethought on that too. We've had some talk about. Load and, you know, I, the challenges of splitting between the permitting and planning and then code enforcement violations and everything as well. Always consider when you're talking about adding pet count versus adding resources to optimize efficiency. There's a few.
[1:15:33]
which disparity between those two costs.
[1:15:36]
So, I mean, it's something to think about.
[1:15:44]
Just a little update.
[1:15:46]
So, I'm a commission alternate.
[1:15:47]
Demolbright came to the learning commission meeting on the six.
[1:15:51]
So, he introduced everyone.
[1:15:53]
And get familiarized enough to speed with what's going on with the commission.
[1:15:58]
So, that if he should need to sit in, he's aware of what's going on.
[1:16:02]
So, I was glad that he was committed and able to attend that meeting.
[1:16:08]
Unfortunately, Mr. Kelsey was not able to attend again.
[1:16:12]
I did talk to him.
[1:16:14]
He's hoping to be able to come to the June meeting.
[1:16:18]
He's continuing health problems
[1:16:20]
that have basically kept him in a back brace
[1:16:23]
where he's pretty well immobilized.
[1:16:26]
So I'm hoping he'll be able to come back,
[1:16:28]
but at least we have Mr. Albrecht now fill in
[1:16:30]
if we have some things that need to be done.
[1:16:33]
The last item, the zoning notice signs that we talked about that you had approved previously.
[1:16:42]
I went into the link to get that work taken care of and the price had increased by $126.
[1:16:50]
And that was on top of them correcting the remove sales tax and freight.
[1:16:57]
So there was a significant price increase on the quote.
[1:17:01]
So I wanted to bring it back to you all to discuss that.
[1:17:05]
A new updated quote is attached to the report.
[1:17:09]
To see if we want to go that route,
[1:17:11]
or if I should rethink the solution,
[1:17:14]
see if I can come back with something more cost cut.
[1:17:17]
Will you look around to see if there was anything rights,
[1:17:22]
right?
[1:17:23]
Yeah, yeah.
[1:17:24]
So when I talk some,
[1:17:25]
when I talk about rethinking the solutions,
[1:17:28]
I may talk to design again and see if they have a cheaper sign panel.
[1:17:33]
and I can redesign it with more inserts instead of having to try to have it all on one sign
[1:17:40]
to see if I can make more parts reusable for different purposes. I think a lot of it's like
[1:17:47]
steel costs went up so it's bubbling through to these because they're steel frames, they're
[1:17:54]
they're steel sign panels so they just raise the price.
[1:18:06]
I mean the total cost is bringing it as we discussed originally and was originally approved is bringing it to $475.56 and before we had to approve $350.
[1:18:20]
So, um, it's three cents. So, right? That's for three. Three complete sets will
[1:18:32]
be okay with moving forward. Yeah, because it is something we definitely have to have, especially all the different changes and stuff.
[1:18:38]
Yeah. Well, you know, you wouldn't have to make the last revenue to appear and do. Yeah. Yeah.
[1:18:42]
Okay.
[1:18:44]
Well, it's not like to recommend the approval of three zoning signs to be purchased.
[1:18:51]
the original costs of 350 to move it up to $475.56.
[1:18:57]
I'll start again.
[1:18:59]
Is that a minute?
[1:19:01]
Yes.
[1:19:01]
Yes.
[1:19:02]
Yes.
[1:19:05]
Here's the cost of the Magistar.
[1:19:06]
I want to do.
[1:19:08]
Sorry.
[1:19:09]
The cost of the Magistar.
[1:19:10]
I want to do it.
[1:19:10]
And they asked.
[1:19:12]
But really the only doing magnetic part is the letters.
[1:19:16]
You know, the letters.
[1:19:19]
You have to say it's not working.
[1:19:23]
Where are we going to look here?
[1:19:24]
Instead of shooting here.
[1:19:29]
That's course.
[1:19:30]
Should I show this free shooting?
[1:19:32]
I thought you said that.
[1:19:34]
See the zeros, patches.
[1:19:37]
Yeah, I think you had to take the freight and the caps off.
[1:19:41]
We did have a, yeah.
[1:19:42]
Okay.
[1:19:42]
I was going to say we all face it.
[1:19:44]
Yeah.
[1:19:45]
It was on the original float.
[1:19:47]
And I think after last month's discussion,
[1:19:49]
he had to get off.
[1:19:50]
for the board of the board of the board of the board of the board of the board of the board of the board of the board.
[1:19:56]
Okay. Okay.
[1:19:59]
Shall we final?
[1:20:01]
Shall we final?
[1:20:01]
No, no, no, no.
[1:20:01]
No, no.
[1:20:02]
Sorry.
[1:20:06]
That was the last item there.
[1:20:07]
I appreciate that.
[1:20:09]
We'll move on to new businesses.
[1:20:10]
No, I have anything else.
[1:20:12]
Just they have open things.
[1:20:15]
Again, we have an open vacancy due to a resignation on the board of zoning fields.
[1:20:20]
We need to fill that extra seat and still have to
[1:20:23]
hopefully find an alternate as well for the work done in the fields so are those
[1:20:30]
for you posted on the website is posted on the pages that we have agency you know
[1:20:36]
should probably do an actual like news posting yeah I was thinking so do a yeah
[1:20:43]
anybody has an idea on how the posts that are just come up with something that
[1:20:49]
They make sense, let me know.
[1:20:52]
Yeah, I don't, we can work together in some language.
[1:20:55]
Okay.
[1:20:58]
And the last item, this is a new item I talked with Ed about it this morning, some from
[1:21:05]
the road.
[1:21:05]
I just wanted to bring it to your extension as well.
[1:21:07]
There's a lot of interest in a 13 and a half acre parcel except the north end of runway
[1:21:12]
Avenue.
[1:21:14]
I've probably had five different calls than the last week and a half about that property
[1:21:19]
from perspective buyers or realtors.
[1:21:24]
There's a lot of questions about zoning
[1:21:26]
because the county said it's agricultural
[1:21:28]
but it's actually residential.
[1:21:31]
So there are a lot of questions about that.
[1:21:33]
The key thing that came up that brought some attention
[1:21:37]
to this is that the runway avenue,
[1:21:41]
the improved surface on runway avenue
[1:21:43]
doesn't extend all the way to that property.
[1:21:46]
It's short by about grade five.
[1:21:47]
be just a guess off of the map right now, I discuss it with them today, but I just wanted
[1:21:54]
to bring it up to your attention as well. It would mean that, you know, start looking
[1:21:58]
to, at some point, somebody can impart that property and we're going to have to put that
[1:22:04]
road surface in. So, I just wanted to get it on your radar as well.
[1:22:08]
Is that extra 45 feet on up? It is on the plated roadway, yeah. There's grass at the end
[1:22:15]
the runway avenue that's in the runway avenue right away. I
[1:22:23]
measured it with the online
[1:22:24]
mapping from the county and it's 45-50 feet. Well, I was like getting exact measurements.
[1:22:33]
I just, I dropped, I talked to them yesterday, I talked to Mr. Stanley this morning and they
[1:22:41]
were asking about the possibility of extending their driveway onto that maybe and I said well,
[1:22:46]
Oh, we have to find out a lot about that.
[1:22:50]
Just wanted to bring it to your attention
[1:22:51]
for long-term road planning that we may need to do.
[1:22:57]
Any questions about it?
[1:22:58]
It will not.
[1:22:59]
I'm sorry.
[1:23:01]
Any questions?
[1:23:02]
Any questions?
[1:23:03]
So the, that's 45 feet.
[1:23:05]
It shows on the map it is.
[1:23:06]
Found you for it?
[1:23:07]
Yes.
[1:23:08]
Okay.
[1:23:09]
How many of you have any questions?
[1:23:11]
Yep, I'm good.
[1:23:12]
Okay.
[1:23:13]
Well, thank you for the reports.
[1:23:15]
And the next thing we'd like to do is move on
[1:23:18]
to the place that we have to fight.
[1:23:23]
So, for the month of April, we're going to 34 calls for service for the sheriff's office
[1:23:29]
and the township.
[1:23:31]
We have a list there that he strikes the crimes that were reported on the month of April.
[1:23:37]
The last meeting you guys brought up on one of the most busiest time is you guys don't want
[1:23:43]
to know.
[1:23:43]
know, I would say anywhere between noon and midnight, 1 a.m., that's when we get our
[1:23:49]
highest call volume here in the township.
[1:23:53]
So, it's midnight.
[1:23:54]
Yeah, brought
[1:23:58]
up to me by my son, Gailor, and Brown Street, reference to the no parking.
[1:24:05]
I sent an email out to the sheriff's office for extra patrol for those areas and see if
[1:24:11]
we can't get a take there.
[1:24:14]
So that's all I have for you folks.
[1:24:16]
Thank you.
[1:24:19]
Thank you very much.
[1:24:24]
Something I did to move on with the police here is we were talking about the levy.
[1:24:33]
I don't know we can't we need to open up a little bit of for just for discussion here.
[1:24:39]
I did contact Sheriff Stratton on Wednesday the 23rd and just let him know that we were discussing about putting it back on the ballot and just to keep him updated with us.
[1:24:52]
And I'm also called, made some phone calls about the old levy signs on April 23rd.
[1:25:04]
Nobody knows where they're at, as far as written signs, there's no levy signs out.
[1:25:09]
I've got one in my garage hanging up. That's about it.
[1:25:13]
We're lying on that.
[1:25:17]
He shall we are there enough for that for talking on this he knew it around
[1:25:29]
I don't know if there are no periods for all the abbreviations would you have to hear
[1:25:36]
No we need signs or am I?
[1:25:38]
Yes, so we need to somehow another come up with some signs for this.
[1:25:44]
I don't know if it's a week.
[1:25:45]
We can't.
[1:25:46]
We're not.
[1:25:47]
Just some people that we are not allowed to go out and solicit this and try to get this.
[1:25:54]
This has to be done by the people.
[1:25:57]
There are some comments said that they were wanting us to.
[1:26:02]
We are not allowed to campaign for that.
[1:26:05]
Yeah, that said.
[1:26:06]
and Sheriff Stratton said I'm sorry yeah Sheriff Stratton said that he is not
[1:26:13]
allowed to do it either he is allowed because like we were saying something about
[1:26:16]
him coming to our birth best and having a boot now he said that he but he's a lot
[1:26:22]
to do is he can answer questions for people like you're talking about
[1:26:25]
response time and stuff and he can answer questions like that he said that he they
[1:26:31]
are willing to bring like out the canine because that's one of the how the
[1:26:35]
He festivals all set up for just the kids and focused around the kids but then they could
[1:26:42]
bring out some he asks how big we wanted to do it and that's all kind of as big as his
[1:26:46]
part of desires.
[1:26:48]
But he was wanting to let bring out different types of equipment and just show him what the
[1:26:53]
Dharma County Sheriff's Department can bring to the township but he himself said that they
[1:27:00]
are not allowed to also campaign and ask for that but he has no problem having a booth up here
[1:27:06]
he said he will he I gave him this shepherd's phone number and everything like that and they're
[1:27:12]
making arrangements for him to have a booth and I said to keep people in love with them it's set up
[1:27:17]
the next hours anyway so we made people I know we had some people say a volunteer to put up the
[1:27:27]
signs that we have to figure out where we're going to have to figure out how many,
[1:27:32]
well, somebody's going to have to figure out how many and get them made.
[1:27:38]
If you talk to past trustees, they could be stuck somewhere.
[1:27:44]
They don't have to worry about it.
[1:27:45]
It's, uh, it's about 17 p.m. I talked to a group of Mr. Burns.
[1:27:49]
And Mr. Burns said he did not have any, does not know where they're at.
[1:27:52]
He did say that they were a few of them that nobody knows where they're at.
[1:27:58]
What brings them really?
[1:28:01]
They're over there, I don't know, I have not seen anything like that, I've never seen
[1:28:04]
them over there.
[1:28:06]
Are there anywhere there to be in that area where the old cop here was in those cabinets
[1:28:09]
or in through the air, but I haven't ever seen them over there either.
[1:28:17]
Somebody put them out and pick them up and do what he knows where they in the air.
[1:28:20]
I don't even know what size signs they are.
[1:28:22]
I don't even know what size signs they are.
[1:28:25]
I remember seeing an orange sign.
[1:28:27]
Yeah, they're just the red and york signs.
[1:28:28]
That's what they were.
[1:28:30]
You know, black is what they were.
[1:28:31]
Yeah.
[1:28:33]
I remember seeing them out.
[1:28:35]
It's that nobody knows where they're at.
[1:28:37]
Like I said, I contacted Mr. Burns on April 23rd also.
[1:28:42]
He had their recommendations and we're going to try to line them.
[1:28:45]
And so we need, in order to get this,
[1:28:48]
we need to have somebody come on in here for a minute.
[1:28:51]
I don't know, do you people want to get together
[1:28:53]
and try to take their nations for the signs of stuff?
[1:28:57]
And come on, that somebody needs to step up
[1:28:58]
for it, but we cannot do the role of some of you.
[1:29:02]
The other thing I'd like to bring up
[1:29:05]
is we're talking about bringing this to the number
[1:29:07]
and making some of these phone calls.
[1:29:10]
I found out that there's another organization
[1:29:14]
is going to be asking for a levy at the same time. It's serently.
[1:29:22]
I'm sorry, I cannot hear.
[1:29:24]
I'm sorry, there's another organization that will be asking for a levy to be put on the ballot
[1:29:31]
for this coming November. It's for, I'm not going to say what it's for, because that's them,
[1:29:37]
they're a part to announce what they're going to do. But we all know how levies are around here
[1:29:46]
they're like a flu. They're like a plague. They're a weapon of run through. So I think we need to
[1:29:51]
take a consideration if we put ours up. It's a very good possibility with having a bunch of them on the
[1:29:59]
That's all I have to do.
[1:30:00]
But they might just get down the board and reject all of them at the same time. So, um, but in this brand of big give us, uh, an email about, um, religious stuff like that. Um, and if you look at the papers, it's, uh,
[1:30:20]
just to let it be known to people that it, uh, based off the 2024 numbers that, um, if it goes at point three, middle, it comes out towards, uh,
[1:30:33]
fostered a homeowner's $10.50 per 100,000 on their house, but we applied for last November
[1:30:41]
when we put it on the ballot, whereas in the 4 mils, and at that cost, it'd be $14 per
[1:30:50]
100,000 of your house out of you. So it's something to take into consideration because we have,
[1:30:56]
obviously, you have to figure out where we're going to put that on the ballot.
[1:31:03]
Do you know what the contract rate would be the same as what it was last year or
[1:31:14]
would it different? Right because we did the point. We did the 4 mil last time.
[1:31:19]
To sort of cover that contract and I just I don't know if that would have changed on perhaps you know that's.
[1:31:26]
Well, it would be, it would be the same as in, it would be, it would cost a half of what
[1:31:33]
it would be for me to be out here with shares, all pays for half, then you guys would
[1:31:36]
pay for half.
[1:31:37]
As if with anything else, I'm just guessing here, everything goes up, I get a raise, false
[1:31:48]
uniforms go up, cross maintenance goes up, everything goes up.
[1:31:52]
With the sheriff's request and to sort of talk to that to understand what that might be.
[1:31:56]
Yes, he would probably be actually, I'll be honest with you, contact Captain Bill Howard.
[1:32:07]
He was a sergeant at the time. You guys met him here the one night right for you.
[1:32:10]
It got voted off Ryan Bill Howard's name. He's a captain now.
[1:32:15]
He handles all contracts and stuff with the Queen of Townships.
[1:32:19]
I couldn't tell you what it would cost you.
[1:32:21]
I don't get into that. Didn't you say before that he could do it, that feel a contract for us?
[1:32:27]
He may have, I don't know. Yeah, I don't know.
[1:32:30]
Let me get, like I said, numbers have changed. I know.
[1:32:34]
Yeah, I think we have to understand what those numbers are.
[1:32:37]
Last November when it was voted down, I had a conversation, I can look it up, I don't remember what it was,
[1:32:43]
but I had a conversation with Sheriff Stratton and at the time that's when Sheriff Leahy who's
[1:32:51]
it's still in charge they said that it could be negotiated a little bit so let me I'll give him a
[1:32:58]
call back and we would just see what their number is at the right time. I'm sure you'd like for
[1:33:05]
to write them out. When I was going to I'm sorry I know that at our last meeting you expressed an
[1:33:13]
interesting sort of being involved in and and help with that. I have a couple of resources
[1:33:18]
that I didn't get to finish digging into before this evening's meeting about what that
[1:33:24]
might look like and how you might be able to help with that. Let me do that and then I'll
[1:33:29]
connect with you sort of offline before our next meeting as you're deciding. So I had a
[1:33:35]
Okay.
[1:33:36]
Can I ask a question?
[1:33:40]
Because in the past, before they did the levy thing, my understanding was take township
[1:33:46]
paid for this, and I'm going to bounce back to this.
[1:33:49]
We don't know what kind of money you're dealing with.
[1:33:51]
Can it even be taken care of now through the township paying for our deputy back, maybe catching
[1:33:58]
another time to try on the levy, or does that work in with the budget or whatever?
[1:34:03]
or we don't know what kind of budget is sitting
[1:34:06]
because we've never heard anything.
[1:34:08]
That's kind of a being my bonnet
[1:34:09]
because I'm still waiting for our treasures report.
[1:34:12]
I have some sort somewhere.
[1:34:14]
And I think we, is the people need to kind of know this too
[1:34:18]
to help you out, but that was my understanding
[1:34:20]
that they've done that in the past.
[1:34:22]
The township did pay for it
[1:34:24]
and then they couldn't run the levy
[1:34:25]
and I know it wasn't that much.
[1:34:27]
I was thinking I paid like 14 dollars or something like that
[1:34:31]
and that is not, I mean,
[1:34:32]
And that's well worth it, the way well worth it for me.
[1:34:35]
But anyway, that can list between me.
[1:34:38]
But it would help the community, I think,
[1:34:41]
if they kind of had some clue.
[1:34:42]
Because it was part of the conversation
[1:34:45]
that people were talking about.
[1:34:47]
But we know what you're going to do.
[1:34:49]
When, from being paid for by the township
[1:34:53]
to go into a levy, like when was that?
[1:34:55]
What year by year levy?
[1:34:57]
Yeah, it was a five year levy.
[1:34:59]
Yeah, so November 2019 is when it passed.
[1:35:02]
And that was the first time it was on a levy and not paid for by the township. I was on a levy in 2018. It got voted that it got messed up because the village got the vote on it and they weren't supposed to be able to vote on it.
[1:35:14]
So they kept it going for another year and it finally eventually passed in 2019 in November, which had been a five year.
[1:35:24]
So prior to that prior to that, the township paid for it out prior to 28.
[1:35:31]
for 18 years and pay for it out of the gentleman, but
[1:35:38]
I'll be sure it's I'm not for that because if the people voted no on levy, that means that they don't want to pay for it.
[1:35:47]
So the general fund is still the people's money. So I'm not for, okay, I'm on record. I'm not for paying out of the general fund.
[1:35:55]
If the people said no to the people said no,
[1:36:02]
then how will we still have the sheriff
[1:36:04]
up?
[1:36:05]
Well, how many still covers this area, just not with the dedicated deputy?
[1:36:11]
Okay.
[1:36:11]
So that's the difference.
[1:36:13]
Right?
[1:36:13]
How many sheriff's to follow?
[1:36:15]
We'll cover all the townships.
[1:36:16]
Correct.
[1:36:17]
That's why I still come to the township meeting, the county that doesn't have our own police
[1:36:20]
department.
[1:36:21]
We still have a representative from sheriff's office in case there's anything for that's
[1:36:25]
product or the need to share a soft sneeze to know, usually it's covered by
[1:36:30]
supervisor, but since I've been out here since Pluto was up, they had to continue
[1:36:37]
coming to the meetings once a month, so. And we want you to have a shift. But you're still
[1:36:45]
on a call to go anywhere in the county, right? Correct. You don't stay here. I don't know. No, I think
[1:36:52]
Last month for the last month and maybe I'd work down the southern part of the county three times
[1:36:57]
They usually put me as a flood car
[1:37:00]
For one minute, I could be up in Wayne Township next minute. I'm over a union township or something
[1:37:05]
so
[1:37:06]
I don't get scheduled out here in this part of the county very often
[1:37:10]
Which is a shame because the fire department makes good food and
[1:37:14]
So no, I mean when you're
[1:37:16]
Howard Goddard says to work here, you still go all of a minute.
[1:37:21]
I can't know, or you don't know.
[1:37:24]
I'm getting hit in the drug test as a counselor.
[1:37:26]
So you don't need to find out if there's a domestic over off of, you know, 222,
[1:37:33]
I remember a counselor, yeah, I'll go back that deputy, but I'm not the primary unit.
[1:37:38]
I'll go back them on priority, on priority details or requires to or something like that.
[1:37:45]
But my main focus when I was a township deputy, I controlled just this township.
[1:37:51]
So, did we get to take a choose that we get?
[1:37:55]
Yes, no.
[1:37:56]
No, sure.
[1:37:57]
I was trying to say so.
[1:37:58]
But you do get the trustees do get to have their opinion on who they thought about me this.
[1:38:06]
I'm high maintenance chef.
[1:38:11]
He's driving on your road.
[1:38:18]
So one sort of comment went to your question, which I understand and I appreciate wanting
[1:38:24]
that transparency, and I'm with you, and I know I said this before, but I'll say it again
[1:38:28]
the air word.
[1:38:30]
I really can't.
[1:38:32]
But again, I know.
[1:38:33]
But I just want to offer something that I learned recently.
[1:38:36]
My understanding is that the way that the townships are funded, it was not the county township
[1:38:41]
association meeting that we went to.
[1:38:42]
So, someone had made a comment that the way that the townships are funded, they get sort
[1:38:49]
of a personage from the state, right, to function, and there was a huge decrease in the amount
[1:38:57]
of funding that townships got under Governor Kasek.
[1:39:03]
Yes, it went from like almost 4%, it was a 3.86% down to 1.75%.
[1:39:10]
So, there's a huge cut and that timing based on the quick sketching that I did does line
[1:39:17]
up with the time that went from coming out of the general fund to the levee.
[1:39:23]
So, I haven't looked at those reports, I don't know that for sure.
[1:39:27]
I'm just noting sort of, it's interesting to me that I know that put happened and I know
[1:39:38]
levy somewhere in there that's probably why when those cuts took effect. I don't know.
[1:39:45]
I'm sort of just trying to rebuild history to understand the cause and effect there,
[1:39:48]
but I'm thinking that might be why. Now, that doesn't answer the question of a fresh analysis
[1:39:52]
because the members were dealing with now and the budget we're dealing with now, whether we could.
[1:39:57]
And I think that's an analysis worth doing in John. I hear you on that too.
[1:40:03]
I can't answer that based on the current numbers, but I just want to just sort of provide that
[1:40:07]
historical reference, just to understand maybe why that happened, why it went from coming
[1:40:14]
out of the general fund to, to a lovely, so, but, just to know.
[1:40:19]
Thank you.
[1:40:22]
I'm going to go call tomorrow.
[1:40:24]
Oh, thank you.
[1:40:24]
Yeah, let's see what that might look like and then we can evaluate it.
[1:40:27]
Do you know any other organizations that are going to announce the love you?
[1:40:32]
Sure.
[1:40:32]
You're going out.
[1:40:34]
Here's the student.
[1:40:35]
They're announcing the party.
[1:40:37]
Okay.
[1:40:37]
Please.
[1:40:38]
Why is that thing?
[1:40:41]
I think we have to do fairly well, actually, like 88% or something like that, we just
[1:40:57]
information.
[1:40:58]
We put RER signs out for the biolubbies.
[1:41:00]
We had 50 signs that we posted throughout the township at different areas, so that's
[1:41:07]
I think that's a good number to start with, so if you're looking for signs, thank you.
[1:41:17]
You're never going to peer scale that day.
[1:41:20]
I didn't peer scale that man.
[1:41:22]
I had heard something about that.
[1:41:24]
Yeah, it just didn't happen.
[1:41:25]
Yeah.
[1:41:26]
Yeah.
[1:41:26]
Yeah,
[1:41:29]
there's
[1:41:34]
an information that we can sort of come back together and decide if it makes sense.
[1:41:37]
You're going to come up, but I'm not.
[1:41:39]
Um,
[1:41:39]
Um,
[1:41:42]
the surprise that I know on our work meeting, which is the 27th, I think you could come on and move up the, uh, the records. I know you should have last time. Yeah, it's, we're, we're discussing the group.
[1:41:55]
Get the village and stuff like that. Yeah, for 27. Yeah, okay.
[1:41:59]
So if you want to be here, that's where I was.
[1:42:02]
The next for the ones. Yeah, it's two weeks, two weeks from now. That's fine.
[1:42:06]
Yes, that's from Memorial Day.
[1:42:12]
That's all I have.
[1:42:14]
Yeah, I think just...
[1:42:15]
All right.
[1:42:17]
Yep.
[1:42:20]
So at this point,
[1:42:25]
it's 8.41.
[1:42:27]
I'm going to close the old business
[1:42:31]
and I would like to open up the public participation.
[1:42:40]
So the first one on our list is
[1:42:42]
Let me give you a few words to follow up.
[1:42:51]
OK, so if I get this out in five minutes, I'll give you that.
[1:42:56]
This came from a higher recording law.
[1:42:58]
Leave a little clarity, Ohio.org, Ohio-reporting-laws.com.
[1:43:04]
Consent of at least one person of any in-person conversation
[1:43:08]
is required to record a conversation
[1:43:11]
with an expectation of privacy.
[1:43:13]
You may not record, obtain, share, or use conversations
[1:43:15]
that you are not a Florida without the consent
[1:43:18]
of at least one part, excuse me party, Ohio revised code ANN.2953.52 for emphasis West 2012.
[1:43:29]
However, Ohio law does make exception in cases where the person or people communicating
[1:43:34]
are doing so in an environment where they should not be under expectation or privacy.
[1:43:38]
Ohio revised code ANN293.51. If you are a third party and require consent from parties taking
[1:43:47]
taking part in the conversation.
[1:43:49]
The Federal Communications Commission states
[1:43:51]
that you may gain consent to make a recording by
[1:43:54]
one, getting verbal or a written prior consent
[1:43:57]
to recording being made to the verbal notification
[1:44:02]
being played before the conversation begins
[1:44:04]
or three, the audible beat turn being repeated
[1:44:07]
at steady intervals during the duration of the conversation.
[1:44:12]
I don't know if the rest recordings in Ohio
[1:44:13]
I was classified as a felony under a high revised code section 2933.52, carrying penalties
[1:44:20]
like imprisonment up to five years and fines up to $10,000. These penalties reflect the
[1:44:26]
state's commitment to protecting privacy rights. Mr. Scholar is reporting people's conversations
[1:44:32]
and televised in them without our consent. He is not a party to our conversations. We have
[1:44:38]
not signed any leases. He does not verbally notify anyone of recording your, have we heard
[1:44:43]
any b's. He does not turn out the recordings when you go into executive session as he should
[1:44:50]
and as you have told him. He is not a self-contained, he is not self-contained as he has, as
[1:44:58]
microphone in the board state.
[1:45:00]
He is not self-powered as he floods into the meeting room outlet. He is not untrusive as his equipment is on a tripod in a set taking of space. He very well made, made people very not want to speak at meetings due to putting his recordings on YouTube and not showing complete meetings. We citizens feel he is interfering interfering with the dignity of the proceedings. The board needs to be aware that not everyone wants their discussions on YouTube were possible adding an incomplete coverage as opposed to
[1:45:30]
Take meetings are not either of these. Take meetings are posted on official Take Township page.
[1:45:37]
Why does Mr. Scholar feel that he needs to post and record on YouTube?
[1:45:41]
We as citizens do have a right to privacy when the board goes to the executive session.
[1:45:46]
Are you recording? You're recording is off and many people ask this.
[1:45:50]
I personally asked Mr. Scholar if he was recording. If it's recording, was off.
[1:45:54]
And he said, no, I don't have to because of the Sunshine Law.
[1:45:57]
Well, Sunshine Law does state that you can record at a meeting period, but there is a lot
[1:46:03]
more to the Sunshine Law and he is responsible when he records to know these laws before
[1:46:09]
he has breaking them.
[1:46:13]
Now, the people here need to do is a public announcement and folks, and if you don't want
[1:46:19]
your conversations recorded and put on YouTube, we as citizens need to tell him that we do
[1:46:26]
not give him consent to record us.
[1:46:30]
And if he does so, then he can get into a lot of trouble
[1:46:33]
that way. And I totally believe, I don't know that I guess you guys don't have any say
[1:46:37]
over this when you go into executive decision. But he is not having conversations with anybody
[1:46:44]
and this needs to be addressed.
[1:46:48]
I don't have with an attorney, but he's crossing line outside
[1:46:51]
of sunshine. And this is just what I have found. And I'm not one for digging a lot. But
[1:46:56]
But I really question as far as his ability to be able to sit here and catch conversations
[1:47:01]
from people.
[1:47:03]
And post them on YouTube.
[1:47:07]
Thank you.
[1:47:11]
Okay.
[1:47:15]
Second one on the list is Jerry Wilson.
[1:47:23]
My name is Jerry Wilson.
[1:47:26]
This is a coincidence.
[1:47:27]
It's got it's my witness and people know me.
[1:47:30]
I do not know them when I talk about what she did.
[1:47:34]
and then basically went up about the middle,
[1:47:39]
saying a thing.
[1:47:42]
The March 11th meeting, Mr. Gray's shoulder
[1:47:45]
was recording the citizens after the meeting was closed.
[1:47:48]
When the trustees were in executive session,
[1:47:51]
Lynn and I always mispronounced her last name,
[1:47:55]
ASKIN to not record her.
[1:47:58]
He said that it was a public place.
[1:48:01]
When the trustees came out of the executive session,
[1:48:04]
the citizen, Lynn,
[1:48:05]
have granted the trustees that we were being recorded and she did not want to be recorded.
[1:48:14]
Trustee Christen Simonis is Mr. Schler to turn off the mic when the trustees were an executive session and he agreed on a recording.
[1:48:28]
During the public participation part on March 11th, Mr. Schler said that he has been active
[1:48:36]
in local government for over 25 years.
[1:48:39]
He said that he did not want to be misunderstood his actions.
[1:48:44]
At the April 8th Tate Township Trustee meeting, Trustee Rusty Durbin asked Mr. Schler to
[1:48:51]
turn off the recorder while the trustees were an executive session, Mr. Shuler said he
[1:48:58]
would turn the mic off. Well, he did not. I was made aware that his recording was on his YouTube
[1:49:07]
channel. So I went out to his YouTube channel and you can hear everything that we were saying, Ed,
[1:49:16]
all of us through executive session. When you're an executive session, the meeting is closed,
[1:49:21]
read
[1:49:26]
the where the recording line you to that he was recording the citizens when the meeting was closed when the trustees weren't executive session.
[1:49:34]
I have spoken to my personal attorney and I would like for the fiscal officer to take note that I do not want to be recorded when the trustees aren't executive session.
[1:49:53]
The meeting is not public then, it is a closed meeting, and I'm pretty upset about this.
[1:50:04]
And it puts me in a heavy position because people know John is my brother, but I'm upset about this as a citizen.
[1:50:14]
He's invited me to my privacy, and I did speak to my personal lawyer, and I went in on record. I do not want to be recording. Thank you.
[1:50:25]
Thank you.
[1:50:30]
Next person we have on the list is Rumble Oil.
[1:50:45]
And in fact, I'm up as well in feelings that they have about it, but you know, getting recorded during the sex sessions.
[1:50:52]
I've already spoken before how I felt violated by it.
[1:50:58]
I'm under subject time.
[1:51:00]
I've been in a builder 35 years.
[1:51:04]
I've been in a lot of stuff to talk to,
[1:51:08]
two trustees.
[1:51:15]
And this is what they talk about.
[1:51:19]
This is involving anybody out.
[1:51:26]
cookie cutter house is basically a house
[1:51:30]
that a builder picks out.
[1:51:32]
He knows how much it costs,
[1:51:35]
you know, what it costs to change anything.
[1:51:37]
and those would have cost to put on a particular life.
[1:51:42]
And I was used to do that because I thought it was a bad thing.
[1:51:46]
And I've done a lot.
[1:51:48]
And my signature really is like wraparound porches.
[1:51:51]
And I get it for the curb appeal.
[1:51:53]
I can't help it.
[1:51:54]
It's just like, but worse in the neighborhood
[1:51:59]
that would build the same exact house.
[1:52:02]
And I'm talking 30, 35 years ago.
[1:52:04]
And the people come up to me because I have the wraparound porch house
[1:52:07]
they're like all
[1:52:11]
three or four of those houses looking insane and they say per
[1:52:15]
sale forever because they're all exactly the same inside now.
[1:52:24]
I had two buyers
[1:52:25]
for the same house and they wanted a mere image and I would not build it next
[1:52:30]
to the same house that I just built so I said somebody has to buy that lot then
[1:52:34]
I'll do your house a mere image and I have two people wanting the same house
[1:52:39]
unfortunately, but I talk to the two-challenger trustees up and start, you know, which is way
[1:52:47]
ignored, you know, hi.
[1:52:49]
And you are allowed to set certain recommendations as to not have the same houses next to each
[1:52:58]
other.
[1:52:58]
You can do it,
[1:53:02]
look the same, you can make up your own rules on what you want.
[1:53:08]
And the reason I'm mentioning this is because, in the neighborhood, luckily my house is so kind of quick.
[1:53:16]
The
[1:53:18]
houses, they stayed that way for like six or seven months, eight months.
[1:53:23]
And people come up to you and they tell you why and I'll tell you why.
[1:53:27]
They don't want to live in the same house.
[1:53:30]
Somebody has an extra.
[1:53:32]
It's some kind of a human
[1:53:36]
feeling or whatever you want to call it.
[1:53:39]
that, I mean, would you want to live in the house that you're in right now right next
[1:53:44]
or something like that, the exact same thing?
[1:53:45]
I mean, if you look through your window, you know that their window is the same exact room
[1:53:50]
so they don't sell and people feel they're just automatically feel that they're in cheaper
[1:53:56]
style house and I just think you need to look out for this in the future.
[1:54:03]
in the township as to not let this kind of happen in your and the people's best interest as well.
[1:54:12]
I mean, you want to talk about strong
[1:54:17]
inside me that we're all identical, man.
[1:54:20]
I go down the road talking to myself because I couldn't stand it.
[1:54:23]
And a lot of people don't like it. They feel it's a cheaper built house.
[1:54:27]
And a lot of it is
[1:54:31]
inexperienced.
[1:54:32]
Now, in other neighborhoods, you'll find a builder who has, for your four houses, you
[1:54:37]
go in and you talk to them and they'll take in and they'll say, I got four different
[1:54:41]
houses you can look at and they're all different.
[1:54:43]
He knows which is one of them costs and what it costs to do to change is okay, but when you
[1:54:49]
get every single house looking the same right next to each other, people don't want it.
[1:54:54]
It's just human intuition, I guess you call it, I don't know, so I'm just pointed out for
[1:54:59]
you in the future, maybe keep an eye on that because you aren't out.
[1:55:03]
And it's also mitigated by, like in Metabian, they have that
[1:55:10]
mitigated as well to, in that subdivision going down there so that
[1:55:15]
everyone of them can't look the same.
[1:55:17]
So they've got that took care of too.
[1:55:19]
So you guys can either take care of it and also the subdivision
[1:55:23]
designer and the ones that make the rules. Like you know that one in
[1:55:26]
million, my kids call it the purple house. It's those condos and they're
[1:55:32]
getting finished or whatever. There is a set of rules. I got pictures of the
[1:55:37]
rule. They got a set of rules. You know how to even smoke on a construction site.
[1:55:42]
They got rules that were there. So they're allowed to do it as well. And it's
[1:55:46]
backed up. So just to let you know that you can do it. It would be something for
[1:55:51]
you to look at because I don't think you guys would enjoy very well. Someone came
[1:55:55]
him in to put 30 houses in and he said, well, I can do it every single one of them is the
[1:56:00]
same.
[1:56:01]
Thank you for the property about it.
[1:56:03]
I don't want mine.
[1:56:06]
So just a booth for thought right there from my point of view.
[1:56:14]
Appreciate you.
[1:56:16]
I'm with you.
[1:56:16]
I kind of want to look at the show for you.
[1:56:18]
I'm with you.
[1:56:19]
I'm with you.
[1:56:19]
I'm with you.
[1:56:19]
I'm with you.
[1:56:20]
I'm with you too.
[1:56:21]
Yeah.
[1:56:21]
Thank you.
[1:56:23]
I put a lot of my garage in.
[1:56:25]
Yeah.
[1:56:28]
I just want to come on and kind of reiterate what's wrong, you know, it also screams section 8 public housing.
[1:56:42]
You know, when you have a bunch of houses, it's all the same.
[1:56:45]
I mean, there's a place for that, you know, and I don't want to sound whatever, but, you know,
[1:56:54]
It's one thing when you know that that's what it's going to be, this area is going to be section 8 public hours and whatever.
[1:57:00]
It's another thing when it's in the community, and it's boom, boom, boom, and they all look alike.
[1:57:05]
It does bring down the values because it's perceived by people coming in with that's what that is.
[1:57:12]
Thank you.
[1:57:13]
Thank you.
[1:57:13]
I can't keep them pretty good.
[1:57:16]
Well, this point, that is all we have on
[1:57:22]
scissors for speaking.
[1:57:24]
So it is 8.56, and I'd like to load it well first.
[1:57:29]
Does anybody else have anything else to say?
[1:57:32]
I do want to say one thing.
[1:57:34]
Let me ask you a last week about a last meeting
[1:57:36]
about the demolition of the dam out there.
[1:57:39]
I talked to Becky.
[1:57:41]
And it's kind of on course.
[1:57:43]
They got the final paperwork in.
[1:57:44]
They're going to print out the bid and she said it's probably the first to next year before they actually start getting
[1:57:50]
wishing. So I guess, where's that at there? I guess we'll be at the last start.
[1:57:56]
Okay, so on Al is aged to be seven. I'll close the public participation parks. So now we're just
[1:58:04]
with motion pose.
[1:58:09]
This one.
[1:58:10]
Which side one?
[1:58:11]
Yes.
[1:58:12]
Yes.
[1:58:13]
Yes.
[1:58:15]
Oh.
[1:58:16]
And then you can have it.
[1:58:17]
And if that's your word for the word?
