of his extraordinary courage, and selfless

service to the city of Memphis during the 1878.

Colleagues I was extremely honored to be able to bring this

and I'm very grateful for all of you signing on as co-sponsors.

Something that I had no idea about until a member of Saint
[1:14]
Peter Catholic Church brought it to my attention.

Sam Henderson has an incredible story
[1:20]
and his story meant a lot to me for a variety of reasons
[1:26]
but he certainly is someone worth acknowledging
[1:31]
and celebrating and appreciating.
[1:34]
Many things in his life from surviving slavery
[1:39]
to helping many sick church members and community
[1:45]
members during the yellow fever epidemic and was truly
[1:49]
a selfless person who gave of himself, each and every day.
[1:55]
Expecting nothing in return.
[1:57]
With that, chairman I move to the floor and I appreciate
[2:02]
and I'm very very grateful for all of your support.
