[19:09] given a conditional offer. Uh he's a um currently he's a Harrisburg police

[19:15] officer, city of Harrisburg. He has three years of experience there. So he's

[19:20] coming into our department which is really great. We don't have to train

[19:23] them. Uh that's been done. He's certified. Uh he has a a very good

[19:30] background. Uh college degree [clears throat] from

[19:33] Shipmanburg University. [snorts] Uh he was in wrestling his whole life

[19:38] basically since he was in grade school. and uh he was a coach. Um just a solid

[19:44] individual and has a very good background, family man with three kids.

[19:52] » Mayor, >> um so congratulations. Congratulations

[19:56] [clears throat] uh to David and to the new council folks. Um we had one of the

[20:00] biggest turnouts for a municipal election. I don't know how how far it

[20:05] goes back, but it was an amazing turnout and I think it represents that people do

[20:10] care about what we do here and it's important work and that we take it

[20:14] seriously and I think folks also are really interested and is getting things

[20:18] done. Um so I have a really really long agenda of things to get done um that I

[20:23] know that council is going to be extraordinarily helpful and supportive

[20:27] of. So um I'll stay tuned for all of those things coming up that need to get

[20:31] [cough and clears throat] done. Um, just as an aside, I did want to mention that

[20:34] we um [clears throat] did I did get a call today about a uh opportunity to

[20:39] have a Civil War um historical marker placed here in New Cumberland. Um I met

[20:46] an extraordinary gentleman through Judy and uh so uh hopefully we'll have

[20:51] something for folks um to really commemorate for our 250th anniversary

[20:56] some of the other really cool things that have happened here. This gentleman

[21:00] gave me a an extraordinary history of how important New Cumberland, Le Moine,

[21:04] Wormley'sburg, and Camp Hill were in the Civil War. So, it was a neat neat

[21:08] experience and I think we'll have something here at Third and Bridge, I

[21:11] hope. So, anyway, stay tuned.

[21:50] thinking and looking at the problems that uh we face um as a town and a

[21:55] burrow and uh I don't think that there's going to be an issue with the with the

[21:59] gang of people we have up here. So I look forward to a couple years here with
