[0:01]
They did not see that because that was the project that had to have an approval in one night. Yeah. So we're going to get the conservation, they put it off as the conservation commission to get it the next time.
[0:31]
Oh, awesome. So you have an overall state plan? Yeah. This is the last board to not see this project.
[0:38]
The conservation or the ZBA and the planning board have both reviewed it.
[0:44]
All right, so we'll go more high level that. Okay. All the way out. So this is the Subcom property.
[0:56]
And the project that was here nine months ago was one we consolidated a lot and then two
[1:03]
we did this extrusion building here and it actually the majority of that
[1:08]
addition was the second story addition over top of the existing building. I got
[1:13]
in mind it was pretty it's pretty unique. There were some other associated
[1:19]
improvements located generally in this area here with that project and I'll actually
[1:28]
We're just building that we can actually see from the road.
[1:32]
That would be this one here.
[1:34]
Thank you.
[1:34]
Yep.
[1:35]
And then the river, the river is right here.
[1:41]
With that, there were, please forgive me that I don't have all the information on that project.
[1:47]
There were some stormwater associated, there were some site, some landscaping associated with it.
[1:53]
a little bit some additional pavement.
[1:56]
Since then, they got in a bunch more orders
[1:59]
that they decided that they had the order capacity
[2:04]
to justify additional expansions.
[2:07]
And that's where you see these buildings in green,
[2:10]
which are the pan building and the chiller building.
[2:13]
And my understanding of that is the pan
[2:16]
is a large pan that they end up schooling wire.
[2:20]
And that's why they call it the pan building.
[2:21]
and in the show building, I don't exactly know why it's called that bass, so I have to do a cool way to get it.
[2:30]
So is it after they did their joints or something?
[2:33]
I think it's actually cooling the wire as they spin together.
[2:42]
I think that's what it's for.
[2:43]
or the payable example, sanded nuts at you,
[2:45]
if you're out of the lever,
[2:47]
lucky enough to be on the site you were there,
[2:51]
the guys, the people that fill those pens,
[2:54]
walk backwards for eight hours,
[2:57]
walking around, spooling the sand.
[2:59]
So they do it by hand?
[3:00]
By hand.
[3:01]
I mean, the hand is done by hand probably,
[3:03]
like here and here to that wall, to that wall.
[3:06]
And it's 16 foot payable.
[3:08]
They love it back.
[3:09]
The cables are very thick,
[3:10]
so they just walk backwards.
[3:11]
I think they take someone told me 15 minutes shifts, but I think when we're on a sidewalk
[3:16]
they said it was like an hour and a half.
[3:18]
So every hour they do that.
[3:22]
It's good.
[3:23]
Yeah, I can count.
[3:24]
Yeah, I can count.
[3:25]
It is outside.
[3:26]
You know, partially, partially.
[3:28]
Yeah.
[3:28]
Like not even right now.
[3:30]
I think that I think some of this is to move some of that activity.
[3:34]
In the Witcher it's under cover.
[3:35]
It's under cover.
[3:36]
It's a wheel or something.
[3:38]
Wow.
[3:38]
I was able to do it.
[3:39]
And so with this project, there is a parking expansion, some proposed pavement here.
[3:47]
This actually is pavement that goes underneath the building to access this site over here.
[3:53]
There's an overhang in this area, so it's loading back.
[3:58]
These are all transformers.
[4:01]
This is the storm water pond, which this one should be B, that one should be A, that are
[4:08]
built to AOT compliance because the next date we actually already know there's
[4:13]
to be another phase of this project which is a large expansion generally on this
[4:16]
side and so we're going to trigger an AOT permit at the state level for storm
[4:20]
water and so we went ahead and already designed these to meet the alteration of
[4:26]
terrain standards. So that's kind of the high level of the project. Same you don't
[4:31]
have a blow up of the next day. I do not know because you guys are going to see
[4:36]
that probably in September because there's a condition of use permit as part of that and
[4:40]
there's a lot more landscaping as part of that soon so that'll be probably September
[4:45]
October.
[4:45]
No.
[4:51]
So thank you for not having many questions about the overall project.
[4:59]
This landscape plan it is color coded this is the one that was submitted to you and I don't
[5:10]
remove this pretty quickly because we do have some changes mostly related to these trees
[5:17]
in this area here because when we reviewed it with the facilities manager, they said
[5:24]
that's the spot where they would like to push snow and landscaping and snow storage
[5:28]
don't really do well together so we decided to relocate that and move that.
[5:33]
So
[5:37]
with that, you see this kind of red clouded area here.
[5:44]
You can see that there is no landscaping in this area.
[5:47]
A lot of those trees were moved along this walkway.
[5:50]
And then Doug did decide that some actual landscaping along the edge of the building
[5:55]
to kind of break up that facade as well.
[5:58]
You'll see that as kind of a theme with this landscape plan
[6:02]
where there are some landscaping along this building to break up the facade.
[6:06]
same thing in this area here and then there's some landscaping here where it
[6:14]
is not really associated with the project. It is immediately adjacent to it and it
[6:18]
is an area that is void of landscaping. When we were on site with a planning board
[6:25]
they kind of pointed that out as that would be a good spot to add some additional
[6:28]
landscaping in that area. There was a tree area here on the previous
[6:35]
plant so to kind of mitigate for the removal of the trees due to the slight
[6:40]
enlargement of the storm water pond who did propose some additional landscaping
[6:44]
over there as well. And then just we I believe Doug said that there was a
[6:51]
comet from the Conservation Commission related to a monoculture. That was just
[6:56]
Mike. That was just because it's important to the commission. So I wanted
[7:02]
I'm just going to lay that for a little bit.
[7:03]
That was me.
[7:07]
Well, within taking that con, because originally on the original site plan application there was
[7:11]
only, I believe it was Red Maple on there.
[7:15]
So to kind of add some diversity, there's still Red Maple on the site walk.
[7:22]
The planning board suggested that we add Princeton Elm in Black Country.
[7:27]
So the Red Maple is on this plan.
[7:29]
And I probably should have color coded them in red, but they're actually the green scattered
[7:34]
about here.
[7:36]
And then the Princeton Elm is the blue, also kind of scattered about.
[7:44]
And then the black gum is this kind of orange-ish yellow, which those are, they're all clustered
[7:50]
but also scattered about.
[7:52]
And then we do have some arbor bodies located in the middle of the parking area, located
[7:58]
a lot here, and then we have some, what are these,
[8:06]
yes, so some other
[8:08]
arborities, a different drug, I don't want to say style, but I know that's not the
[8:16]
subspecies that are more adjacent to the buildings that they really don't
[8:20]
grow outward, they grow tall, so that way they can block as much as the side as
[8:24]
possible without really causing a maintenance issue by growing into the
[8:29]
do it.
[8:32]
So I believe with that, that's the landscape plan and we'd be happy to have
[8:36]
some comments. I guess one last thing we did define this area right around the
[8:44]
transformers as the required per-the-ever source design manuals. This is the
[8:50]
clear area that they require so we dashed that in a red line just to show why
[9:11]
I mean this is, this was a presentation one that, very,
[9:25]
very well known with some in
[9:30]
So the difference between this plant and the two plants that you have in front of you is one, this was combined onto one sheet.
[9:38]
Well, that's, I put it split up into LS1A and 1B.
[9:44]
And then the difference is this one compared to what's in that plant, or
[9:57]
what's in this clouded area.
[10:01]
So you can see that there were some trees over here, those have been moved over to here,
[10:08]
some additional trees were added along the walkway, and that's an additional tree's
[10:13]
over the bodies of the adjacent building.
[10:17]
Can we talk, can we talk about those armor bodies adjacent to the building?
[10:23]
That's this blue circle.
[10:25]
You said adjacent, what's adjacent to the building?
[10:27]
these arbor ladies. I'm not sure I'll make it there. I mean I look trees but
[10:37]
aren't those going to bake in the sun? This one's against the pond. So you got
[10:46]
stormwater pond arbor ladies building.
[10:51]
These ones here are a little tight and I
[10:54]
I got to admit that I'm not an arborist, so I don't know how well, how much grease-based
[10:59]
they need a roundup to, for them to survive, but they're more chosen that they grow vertical
[11:06]
and they don't grow outward.
[11:09]
I think they hold up to snow a lot of our lines, sort of split and such.
[11:29]
I guess my concern is, would we mix and match the trees, that's what I was going to suggest
[11:34]
I mean, you've got a club here at the same tree,
[11:38]
a club here at the same tree, a club here at the same tree.
[11:42]
Typically, it makes sense.
[11:43]
Typically, landscape art takes like the cluster
[11:45]
of similar trees that we've got.
[11:46]
Which is the worst thing to do, because if you have something
[11:49]
come in as an example of the ash trees,
[11:52]
or the oak trees, then they're all gone.
[11:57]
I mean, Alms are a pretty unique scenario.
[12:02]
nature tends to cluster trees together.
[12:05]
Not really.
[12:06]
Going to the woods, they're next.
[12:10]
I would highly recommend moving some of the species around.
[12:14]
So you have some different textures and different heights.
[12:19]
And that way, if something comes in and hits the red maple,
[12:26]
you're not losing that whole group.
[12:28]
That whole group and that whole group, which is exactly what happened with the islands.
[12:34]
It's back when they, everyone found the islands for the towns and cities, and they lost everything.
[12:41]
They're continuing to lose them.
[12:43]
They've lost, they've pretty much lost them everywhere, same name with the chest, that tree.
[12:47]
Right.
[12:48]
That tree.
[12:49]
As trees are now.
[12:51]
Blue screws are going.
[12:54]
We're going to end up with oaks everywhere.
[13:02]
I mean that would be my recommendation.
[13:07]
So everybody's fine, Jane, just interspersed the clubs with just a move around a little
[13:13]
bit.
[13:13]
Yeah.
[13:13]
I'm like, hey, eight in the corner there.
[13:16]
Just interspersed instead of.
[13:17]
Right.
[13:18]
Right instead of.
[13:22]
I know some on LS1A that we have also there's there are some shrubs like that
[13:30]
that did skip over those and there's day lilies right is that what's on LSG
[13:38]
that you're just going to do so those are the ages and the ages are not colored in
[13:56]
I mean I personally wouldn't mind seeing a few other perennial flowers because these are all gonna be done
[14:09]
So there's nothing really in the fall that will be of interest with color or late summer, mid summer.
[14:22]
So your WG is roses.
[14:28]
And they're hiding. I feel like it just looks like deep.
[14:33]
And that's the mature height that they get to.
[14:46]
They have some rose to share in which we'll be blooming right now.
[14:50]
Yep. And you'll have a landscaping.
[14:57]
Which is scary.
[15:00]
It's a different place. I'm sorry. I think it's called make a difference landscape, but I believe it's called make a difference. Yeah. We require a landscape maintenance plan. We do. Yeah, on plan. Yeah,
[15:24]
assuming it's all irrigated. It's got a good assumption to make. Yes.
[16:01]
you're right. Some people can get a blast. I mind never last. I never know what it's
[16:10]
the shade, but yeah, that's true.
[16:19]
So just to confirm. In this view, the river is
[16:23]
at the top. So that re-engarding on the left you're saying that like Northwest is
[16:32]
going to be the next expansion. Can you pull the aerial flow? Yes. In fact, this
[16:43]
stormwater pond is probably going to be building over top of it and then this
[16:50]
parking lot area is going to have sub-surface parking. I think that right here is
[16:55]
building and then there's more sub-surface parking. Sub-surface, right? Sub-surface
[17:00]
radius. Under the parking area. Can you point out, so they just came to the
[17:07]
ZBA last week and got variances for wetland setbacks, a wetland fill. It may be
[17:17]
You can show it as big as a little finger of wetlands as it runs up next to the parking lot.
[17:24]
So that got zoning relief on Thursday.
[17:26]
I think the goal was to be in front of the plane board sometime this fall.
[17:30]
Exactly.
[17:31]
And then you're going to have another crack in it.
[17:33]
And what I really think we should do is probably you are now the only board that hasn't been out there.
[17:38]
We probably should do a sidewalk just so you can see it.
[17:46]
Because this is pretty, I mean it's like the definition of having industry, it's busy
[17:52]
back there, it's parking and heavy equipment, but so I think if you saw it, you'd understand
[18:00]
how the site works and so maybe we could do that before the focus dark too early.
[18:09]
So what's out there right now for trees for, well, the front, what do you call the
[18:16]
dry building?
[18:17]
The front building?
[18:18]
Correct.
[18:18]
Yeah, what's that?
[18:20]
The front building, the dry building is what you see in Chateauquois.
[18:22]
I think they call it dry because there's a lot of engineering happens and that's nice
[18:26]
you landscape around it and in a little bit behind it there's a smoking area in a patio
[18:32]
for one.
[18:32]
You have one shop back and then sort of behind that it becomes like the business.
[18:38]
part of the business where there's, you know, I think everybody works inside, you know,
[18:46]
having machinery.
[18:49]
I mean, the picture of it.
[18:51]
So it's a, I don't know how much benefit you get from, so praise you right there, because it's an
[19:00]
and the industrialists.
[19:02]
That's how it goes.
[19:03]
Is this on their plan?
[19:06]
I was looking.
[19:07]
The plantings are on the right half of them.
[19:12]
What is these that we've been trying to do
[19:14]
to keep popularize crew?
[19:17]
It's hard here because they can't have,
[19:20]
they've got to have major, huge expanses of asphalt.
[19:23]
They can't have plants.
[19:24]
They can't go out in the middle because they're driving.
[19:26]
So this is where the new, the next day, the new, the, the, the kind of tan is what was previously
[19:36]
permanent, the green is what we're currently permitting in the oranges, what, it's going to be
[19:40]
wonderful. So this, like, this is where the plantings are, on that right garden.
[19:54]
Yeah,
[19:55]
I'm not going to put much back here.
[19:59]
And we'll move in like that.
[20:00]
Storm out of pond is going to go below that parking area there.
[20:04]
And then, you were able to visit the site.
[20:10]
You will come to here.
[20:11]
This is where the guard check is.
[20:16]
This is the rain.
[20:17]
That's where we go.
[20:18]
So if anybody from the public ever came to site,
[20:21]
he wouldn't go in there.
[20:22]
He would go in the guard check over there.
[20:23]
So, and that's kind of utilitarian, but it's nice.
[20:28]
Right, you've really hit our long-term goal
[20:29]
through this next expansion, this is to hire professionalism.
[20:33]
And our real focus in the future is to make it a tractor for our employees,
[20:40]
where they take their rights, pick their areas and things like that.
[20:42]
I'm sorry, I apologize.
[20:45]
I didn't, you know, where the public would be.
[20:48]
Yeah, would you go about that?
[20:52]
But the fact is, it's a different beach, you know.
[20:55]
Can you go back to that?
[21:00]
I don't know what to tell you, but I cannot get the same show off, so it's far.
[21:05]
I see the hairy, see the hairy part of the black.
[21:08]
We're all doing the blue trees, right?
[21:11]
I was looking.
[21:12]
I see four.
[21:13]
There's a green.
[21:15]
Oh, this one.
[21:16]
You're on this one.
[21:16]
Yeah.
[21:17]
That one.
[21:18]
So I was looking at like why wouldn't you play around the whole thing, but now it looks like there's a reason because of the next.
[21:25]
Yeah.
[21:25]
There's a stone.
[21:26]
Water.
[21:27]
Yeah.
[21:29]
Okay.
[21:31]
Thank you.
[21:33]
Okay.
[21:34]
Does anyone have any questions?
[21:40]
So what I heard was to interspers the trees.
[21:49]
The mix is fine, but just in groups, and providers for the maintenance plan, it can be pretty simple.
[22:04]
I think Doug's got some other things.
[22:07]
Let's see what's in our files.
[22:23]
So I saw you were moving a small wall, I'm just curious.
[22:31]
Where might that be?
[22:39]
And a guy that was a property line we still want to talk about.
[22:43]
It doesn't look like it does.
[22:45]
But I do know.
[22:48]
Is it more like a file of roll?
[22:51]
It's probably an SP2A and B would be lined up.
[22:55]
It's not a beautiful slope.
[22:57]
So here'sżoq.
[23:00]
I mean, I've been out there a bunch, I've never seen a stone wall.
[23:04]
So
[23:08]
yeah, that's just a pile of rubble, it's not that's really nice.
[23:18]
I see the stone wall that you're talking about.
[23:20]
Ideal to say removes pile of rubble.
[23:25]
It's just a wall, it's a pile of rubble.
[23:29]
Because they are, it's very, very removed.
[23:32]
It's completely other part of the hit.
[23:35]
I guess it's already removed because of the other project that was it really in store.
[23:43]
I couldn't tell you.
[23:45]
I wasn't out there before.
[23:48]
Good.
[24:00]
Okay.
[24:00]
So do we want to make motion with some exceptions?
[24:07]
Well, yeah, if you want to recommend the, or prove the landscaping plan, it'll provide
[24:14]
a thing.
[24:15]
It was first the trees and the same groupings, and then provide a maintenance plan.
[24:21]
I don't know what else you had.
[24:23]
Yeah, that's good.
[24:23]
That's good.
[24:24]
Yeah, there we go.
[24:29]
Does anyone want to make a motion?
[24:32]
I'll make a motion to recommend a plan with the inclusion of landscaping and the
[24:41]
plan and also make a request to the maintenance plan and request to intersperses, to species
[24:51]
all in the plan. So nowadays species never express themselves, but just to express them
[24:56]
within each other. So anybody want to second the motion? No second. All right, all in
[25:11]
Is it premature to talk about a sight walk?
[25:15]
I mean, I'm just thinking it's going to be September.
[25:18]
And we're going to start losing daylight.
[25:19]
And I only have a little concentration
[25:21]
which I'm going to be some monthly.
[25:22]
Should we think about it?
[25:25]
Or do you want to let your planes perturbed
[25:28]
a little bit more?
[25:29]
I don't know.
[25:30]
I mean, everything's marked.
[25:31]
That's the beauty of it.
[25:32]
I don't know.
[25:32]
Yeah.
[25:33]
I think we wanted to delay the potential.
[25:37]
And I don't want to say who we're going to be.
[25:38]
You know, probably because last time I said that,
[25:40]
oh, this is not really the planing board.
[25:43]
I just want, when you guys come back into the big project,
[25:47]
let's just say it's October,
[25:48]
they're not going to be the moon to go out in the fall
[25:50]
and it's raining and cold and dark.
[25:53]
Maybe we should try to do it in September.
[25:55]
What do we have in the chance?
[25:56]
Yeah, I can definitely coordinate that with Doug
[26:00]
to basically see if there could be a pre-porting.
[26:02]
Might strike them absolutely.
[26:04]
Let's do it in September.
[26:05]
Yeah, great.
[26:06]
Yeah.
[26:07]
You know, if you have a list of, you know, varieties of trees and trees, the tree variety
[26:12]
you have, you have our fine.
[26:14]
That's all set.
[26:15]
And then what we can do is, I think we're going to talk about that thing.
[26:21]
For your next project, I don't even know if there's an opportunity for this, maybe there,
[26:25]
but maybe we can provide more guidance for stuff when you come back for the bigger project.
[26:34]
So is that something we want to try to schedule now?
[26:38]
We can do it on outside of a conservation commission meeting.
[26:44]
How do you deal with it?
[26:47]
Works.
[26:49]
I mean, I didn't mean to say it well.
[26:53]
I mean, it's like a rocker, it's not a rocker toy.
[26:57]
How early can you get out?
[26:59]
I couldn't schedule it whatever, whatever works for everyone else.
[27:02]
Do we want to do it? I mean, Laura, what is our September meeting?
[27:07]
It could be September 10th. That's the second Thursday.
[27:11]
Yeah. What are we going to do with that?
[27:17]
The ZBA took an hour. I mean, almost an hour.
[27:21]
You wouldn't probably be as long. So, what time do we start our meetings?
[27:25]
Six-week apart is to do it like 5.45. I think that would be enough time.
[27:30]
come over here. They come here for the for the meeting. Okay. If you want it I think it would be helpful to say five to me. What's that?
[27:38]
Say five to me. Is that worth you? Yeah. Yeah.
[27:42]
Oh, yeah. So we can do it at three thirty.
[27:48]
So we do five thirty on September 10th. You're going to confirm. I'm good. Okay.
[27:57]
I'm sure it'll be able to be able to support them.
[27:59]
Can we do the same thing and meet at that same location?
[28:03]
So Sam, you want to show the commission where to meet?
[28:07]
Disappear if you meet at the security guard
[28:09]
because if they didn't get a warrant.
[28:10]
Well, you know what, maybe we shouldn't.
[28:12]
Actually, you know what, let's do that.
[28:14]
Well, I think we had to, we had to like,
[28:18]
badge in basically.
[28:19]
But why don't we, that way they could walk so they can see
[28:21]
the facility?
[28:21]
Oh, yeah.
[28:22]
Okay let's go to the main gate, yes.
[28:27]
I'm sorry I can't see the main gate.
[28:30]
I can't see through it.
[28:30]
I can't see through it.
[28:32]
I can try.
[28:33]
Here's the road here.
[28:35]
Here's the main road, kind of coming in.
[28:38]
There's a guardhouse right here and there's parking.
[28:41]
Right there.
[28:42]
Right there.
[28:43]
Alright.
[28:44]
So, 430.
[28:47]
Yeah, 530 on 910 and if it's horrible weather it will be schedule but it's just, it's
[28:52]
plan on that. And hopefully the state and the pavement markets are still there. So all
[28:59]
the buildings are all safe. The big buildings are all safe out to wetland impact. In fact,
[29:05]
you know, if, uh, which is neat. Yeah. Yeah. Tanks. If he could be there, because so there's
[29:15]
So there's a wetland fill and two buffer impacts as part of this.
[29:22]
So a spencer could be there.
[29:23]
That would be pretty beneficial for the commission, because they're going to review the wetland
[29:28]
permit eventually.
[29:32]
So between this and the little cocks, is there an inch of land left over there?
[29:39]
Well, I put that area of photo back up, I think that just shows just the facility.
[29:44]
So, so so step close to the cover.
[29:48]
No there isn't, and that's the problem.
[29:51]
I mean, if you look at the aerial photo so Paul's book
[29:55]
is to the Northeast, yeah that site.
[30:00]
Um, they're not impacting Paul's brook, but most of you probably have the Paul's brook starts in a culvert at, oh, here's somewhere it goes on through the mall and discharge just next to the new hotel. Yeah. And then it finally sees daylight at,
[30:30]
So, over to your left there, you see that big weapon system.
[30:33]
All's brookers are one of the left, and there is some tidal wetland over there, but
[30:38]
it's also heavily impacted by, there's an Ebersource easement, a significant easement
[30:45]
that goes through there, and the town has a sewer pump station, so there's a sewer easement
[30:51]
that runs down through there, so those are both maintaining, so all the sewer in that area
[30:56]
runs down there and it's put back up to the sewage shooting plant. So it's it's it's a pretty
[31:04]
so yes they are running out of land and they and everybody is we're Westinghouse is out of land
[31:15]
GP is desperately is out of land and Wilcox is running out of so it's it's and I think this was built
[31:23]
53.
[31:24]
It's alright?
[31:25]
53.
[31:26]
So now like they pick up and move to a new facility, it's got their...
[31:30]
It's not as tough as five.
[31:32]
It's probably really tough.
[31:33]
It's really tough, I think.
[31:34]
Well, I...
[31:34]
You know, I think I'm...
[31:34]
I think I'm gonna pick up and move in here.
[31:37]
Is that...
[31:38]
I'm gonna...
[31:38]
I'm gonna go from New Jersey.
[31:40]
Oh.
[31:43]
I went to...
[31:45]
It might be...
[31:46]
It might be in a nice part of New Jersey.
[31:48]
How do you know?
[31:48]
There are...
[31:49]
Very...
[31:50]
Only...
[31:51]
But...
[31:51]
You're here.
[31:51]
I'm sure it's going to be a good work.
[31:55]
I feel my nice place.
[31:57]
All right, excellent.
[31:58]
Well, we'll see you sometime or time.
[32:00]
Yeah.
[32:00]
Thank you.
[32:01]
Yes, you.
[32:01]
And if you confirm that Spencer Tate can be that I'd be great.
[32:07]
Yeah.
[32:07]
I'll ask Spencer to know what day the week is at.
[32:09]
And the third day?
[32:10]
The third day.
[32:11]
Why is that a problem for him?
[32:12]
I don't know.
[32:12]
I know he sits on his Doni Ward.
[32:14]
So that's the only thing.
[32:16]
Work first, work first.
[32:19]
The only of three members.
[32:20]
So, if he doesn't share the room, it ensures it.
[32:24]
No, I probably.
[32:27]
I'm sure you've felt that problem before.
[32:30]
We have.
[32:32]
We have that problem.
[32:34]
Well, thanks very much.
[32:36]
Thank you.
[32:37]
Thank you.
[32:38]
All right.
[32:39]
Next on the agenda is Web Study Update.
[32:44]
We're going to turn this over to Cheryl.
[32:53]
So we've been talking for a little while about the enhancing the website, right now,
[33:00]
the only thing on it are these things, just the dudes.
[33:05]
So, and I started thinking about it earlier this month, actually July, when I attended
[33:11]
of the public school or the conservation in-person site
[33:15]
can, I hope, two of the speakers were enhanced
[33:20]
in enforcement that got a large update to their website.
[33:24]
So then I added an option hearing about some kind
[33:26]
of their purpose and running and seeing
[33:29]
or wanting to address some of the residents that would come
[33:32]
to the commission with questions.
[33:34]
They wanted to add information that would be helpful
[33:37]
residents and also screen line permanent process. So I took a look at their websites and
[33:45]
then kind of some things we've talked about. And the first page is just some ideas that
[33:48]
I thought would be interesting for our content. And then just in order, the very first
[33:54]
thing is just what is the conservation commission? That's a great source. Who are we? Who are we?
[34:00]
would we meet, you know, what's ideas that are conservation. And then a section
[34:05]
for our estimates are in, we have history and maps that we had talked about
[34:10]
last year putting together and pictures. And then John mentioned, maybe some
[34:16]
information if somebody looking, using it with property, was interested in the
[34:21]
conservation, you know, don't get me in, right, kind of what that entails. So that
[34:27]
That would be in the first section.
[34:30]
And then, after that, it would go down to residents,
[34:34]
red resources, for applicants, and residents.
[34:39]
So online links, to forms, like wetland permits, et cetera.
[34:45]
And then also checklists for, you know,
[34:47]
geared to residents and property holders,
[34:50]
which is what we did in the shoreline.
[34:53]
You know, if you were doing this water things,
[34:54]
is that you should bring to the concentration division.
[34:57]
What are we looking for before we get here?
[35:01]
And then also I figured a checklist would be useful to me.
[35:05]
So that when I'm here, we're listening
[35:08]
to a proposal, I'm going to go through and hit the journalist.
[35:12]
And then applications.
[35:14]
So that's kind of ideas that I had.
[35:18]
Is it, I know you and I talked, did some town
[35:22]
I don't have a good example of a website like this when you look at a couple.
[35:25]
Yeah, if I looked at a couple, then I kind of
[35:29]
screen-shot it, just pieces of the other, kind of the other websites.
[35:36]
Primarily, I'm saying, kind of personal, because they were either
[35:40]
in the presentation, they just need major changes.
[35:43]
But Durham has a lot of, I'm an easy-going technician, that's really good.
[35:48]
So the second page, this is one of the projects that the courts have worked on.
[35:55]
And this is actually page five of their big resident handouts.
[35:58]
So if you go under the land use section, you'll see, like, conservation years here.
[36:03]
You start here to do this. This is a new contact. This is what we do.
[36:07]
Kind of just a little one shot page. That's a really good printout.
[36:11]
And then from there, I've kind of screwed in, I've got some great shots of what other websites have done.
[36:19]
So you can start off with, what is the conservation do? And this is, the top is Hampton.
[36:25]
And we're going to talk about their numbers and our important stuff.
[36:29]
If Hampton talks about their mission, then after that section for permits,
[36:36]
So you can't really put a link here, but like a wetland use application,
[36:41]
a hotline, a land use, wetlands map, title plan, I think the guide.
[36:48]
So you know, especially with our new projects down on the shore,
[36:53]
there will be good plans for you to do that.
[36:56]
And then in our package, we have our conservation map.
[37:00]
You know, we put our own issues on that.
[37:03]
So, you know, ideas like that, so that would be like a one stop, so you don't want to download it.
[37:09]
I don't know what they do now for the application.
[37:12]
And then, the last page, the third page is an example of what's in it.
[37:20]
And this is where they've got, sorry, they just can't move it.
[37:23]
Yeah, the other thing.
[37:24]
But you can see the link to the top is all in there,
[37:28]
and then on the below that is environmental resources.
[37:34]
So there's a lot of those going back to the department.
[37:39]
So there's outside resources that you can go through.
[37:44]
Very last page is just a summary not so much for the website of the two projects.
[37:50]
set for Smith and the MDZ, completed with the assistance of the grant, as the EBS
[37:57]
posted was on the end of the grant. One was caring for your wetland buffers, and then
[38:02]
the other one was making a march by version. So that was kind of interesting that I put
[38:08]
it there. Also in the MDZ, they had a project to create demonstration garments, tend to
[38:17]
I just show residents plants that might survive in a salt marsh
[38:20]
and settle around wetlands.
[38:22]
That was kind of interesting, so that they did.
[38:24]
It's easy to see so that people could use it for saltting.
[38:30]
The very last part, I think I was going to call it,
[38:33]
talking back for more, I thought, yeah.
[38:38]
That thing is a very responsive.
[38:42]
I have a lot of time, so I'm willing,
[38:44]
I don't, it doesn't mean I would get it done right away.
[38:46]
But I'm willing to work on it and put it together, you know,
[38:49]
fish and fish out, but for the resource
[38:51]
from the rest of the group, I see that the town has a new website
[38:57]
that just went out there.
[38:59]
I know that the administrative assistant has been very,
[39:03]
very, very, very busy working on that.
[39:05]
So I'm hoping to come up with, you know,
[39:07]
we can find a way that it doesn't take a lot.
[39:10]
It's not a big lift for that to do.
[39:12]
And, and one of the ideas I had kind of Googled from A.I., the venue of Civic Plus, which is the website carrier.
[39:23]
And kind of a one suggestion for how an admin can set up a user group, you know, for a separate group group that's whole day only have access to where they can put up their materials.
[39:36]
then the administrator would publish that to the master site.
[39:42]
So it's kind of a way to let somebody in and maybe do some of the footwork themselves,
[39:47]
rather than put it on the town personnel.
[39:51]
Just one suggestion.
[39:54]
So my follow-up is just if we wanted to progress with that,
[39:58]
if we wanted to kind of hide more tiles,
[40:02]
what would be the most important to start with,
[40:05]
go down from there where you'll start gathering materials.
[40:16]
You were going to say something?
[40:17]
I was just going to say, Cheryl, I think this is incredible.
[40:20]
I think it's exactly what we've been talking about
[40:24]
and if you have the passion and the bandwidth to get
[40:27]
at least some of it off the ground on the pitch
[40:30]
and where we can, I think that would be awesome.
[40:34]
Well, I hope that anybody who would like to play with me
[40:42]
I'm not a web developer, or a record, or even a creative person who is, I don't mean
[40:50]
here, I mean who would do it, who would be us, I can pull out the webinars and plug my
[40:59]
way through, I can follow the directions, so maybe just as simple as pulling and flip
[41:06]
I mean, the reality is, any improvement will be same if we can't compare it to what we've
[41:12]
got.
[41:13]
So, I think that's great.
[41:16]
I really love this project.
[41:18]
Yeah, I'm looking at it and trying to, I mean, definitely the first one would be really
[41:23]
good.
[41:23]
Yeah.
[41:26]
I think people ask, what do they do?
[41:29]
Yeah.
[41:29]
Yeah, I mean, I could see probably that applications and
[41:34]
requirements are probably easier to do than, you know,
[41:37]
accumulating the stream, the maps, the pictures, and
[41:40]
that kind of stuff, so you might be able to, you know,
[41:45]
especially once we explain what we do and who we are and
[41:49]
when and where and that kind of stuff.
[41:51]
Then you can kind of have the applications, right?
[41:55]
Yeah, right underneath there.
[41:57]
and then we'd work on it.
[41:59]
I like to check this too because a lot of people don't know what's involved.
[42:02]
Right.
[42:02]
Right.
[42:03]
Yeah.
[42:04]
And then check this for us too.
[42:06]
Right.
[42:07]
Especially for new folks who are joining us, like what are the questions?
[42:11]
These are old books.
[42:13]
Well, where are the only commission committee that doesn't have notebooks?
[42:19]
I mean, they come to the planning board and they all have their notebooks.
[42:23]
with some historical stuff in it.
[42:25]
Yeah, and permits, and you know, checklists,
[42:28]
and that kind of stuff.
[42:29]
And we never ever had that.
[42:33]
So the permits, maybe John, you could help.
[42:37]
Sure.
[42:38]
I don't know what permits are out there.
[42:40]
But that would be pretty useful.
[42:41]
Well, I like it.
[42:42]
I don't like the force, but it's in.
[42:45]
I do.
[42:47]
I think that's hard to read.
[42:48]
Yeah, well, yeah, I mean although it doesn't really work that way in my experience of course, but I like how they say it's the best thing
[42:55]
you can do is reach out before you before you design or fly and start with a plan. They put they put a name and a title and a
[43:02]
phone number right there. I think that's pretty good because we know a lot of healers just don't know what to do. And, you know, rather than having to put that right
[43:09]
in front so rather than wade through a stinking website. Well, they've defeated them before they even started. Right. Right. And I just had
[43:16]
These two nice people that just bought their building house, they're just starting house down at Shackford, they're living in a condo, their whole life in Manhattan, and they're retired, and they never wanted to house for it, and they have a bunch of dead ashes, and they said, can we remove them?
[43:33]
And some of them are in the shoreline, and they said, yeah, have them flag, we'll go look at them.
[43:38]
But they actually had the time, they should drove here and they wanted, they were able to talk to Jeremy, he wasn't here so I double them.
[43:45]
But that's pretty cool, they actually just came in and wanted to know, can we come know?
[43:51]
So, you know, people have all kinds of questions like that.
[43:55]
Yeah, it's helpful, it's like you need help.
[43:57]
Yeah, that looks like it.
[44:00]
Right, right, exactly.
[44:01]
I think it's pretty good.
[44:04]
Sure, the only thing I would add on the first page is I wanted to have a repository of our
[44:12]
events, the spring and the halls for the day, to kind of show what we've done, and then
[44:19]
you go ahead and figure out what they've done.
[44:22]
Yeah, because I'm like, oh, who is the butterfly person?
[44:27]
What's the name?
[44:29]
What organization?
[44:30]
You should.
[44:30]
I could be great.
[44:31]
I could be good.
[44:32]
I upload their presentations.
[44:34]
Yeah.
[44:35]
We don't have a camera up there, do we?
[44:38]
There's no camera like this at the light.
[44:41]
No.
[44:42]
I mean, I would not want to have a presentation in this room because it's nowhere near as nice
[44:46]
as a library.
[44:47]
But it is kind of cool to have them reported.
[44:50]
You know?
[44:51]
I don't know.
[44:52]
Have we got to do that somehow?
[44:53]
You know?
[44:55]
Where am I now?
[44:56]
Yeah.
[44:57]
They're a technical person.
[44:58]
Yeah, they're...
[45:00]
I don't know that it'll happen this year, but she's trying to figure out a way to be able to record stuff.
[45:31]
speak and when they go around the camera, maybe they are, I don't know, they might be a little
[45:36]
more reluctant to speak freely maybe?
[45:39]
I don't know.
[45:40]
You know?
[45:41]
Doesn't bother you.
[45:42]
I haven't seen that in any town maybe.
[45:45]
Well, maybe, maybe no more.
[45:47]
I think it would be cool to have those links on there, you know?
[45:51]
Yeah, I agree.
[45:52]
If we could support her.
[45:53]
I mean, I could get minimum what we could do, and we could maybe test this for the Bay,
[45:58]
is have the speaker join a Zoom call so that at least their voice is being recorded with the
[46:07]
presentation. I think that is that we could do right away.
[46:16]
The rest, I don't know.
[46:18]
I don't have to think through. But I know Laura is trying to get more video stuff happening
[46:26]
It was a meeting house. The second church that comes in has wired up the meeting house. It's got all, if you go in there, you can see where they've got the cable meeting and they've got the Wi-Fi in there and they've got the camera set up. It's just like broadcast.
[46:45]
to see all of those leading parts.
[46:48]
Yeah, interesting, okay.
[46:52]
Okay, so, once we have access, we help her sleep.
[46:58]
Yeah, so I can talk to Martha.
[47:03]
I had talked to Martha probably a year ago about
[47:07]
she was willing to do whatever we needed.
[47:10]
and of course now with her retirement coming at some point next year and it's so
[47:15]
fair the only one doing it right now. She's very and so active. Is Debbie is
[47:20]
Debbie gonna do is it gonna be the only survey? Okay. I can talk to Martha and see
[47:27]
once if she's willing if somebody's willing to give us the editing
[47:32]
This is like ideal, right, and then we then setting up just like your own page, that's off production, and only access, we get only access to that page.
[47:46]
Yeah.
[47:47]
Yeah.
[47:47]
Okay.
[47:48]
And then it would never go up front until, so we have a hard time.
[47:54]
Yeah.
[47:55]
Okay.
[47:56]
Okay.
[47:56]
So it wouldn't crash.
[47:58]
Yeah.
[47:58]
Okay.
[47:59]
It would be just a jet.
[48:00]
A jet.
[48:01]
And I won't.
[48:02]
Oh.
[48:03]
Yeah.
[48:03]
So I can, I don't know.
[48:06]
I don't know where I was around next week, but I can try to hang her.
[48:09]
She is.
[48:10]
Okay.
[48:10]
So I believe she is.
[48:13]
All right.
[48:14]
Thank you.
[48:16]
I wanted to say something because when Cheryl asked me for some time this week and I gave
[48:20]
it to her or last week and one of the things she glossed over was you mentioned it somewhere
[48:27]
was a demonstration garden and I said to Cheryl why don't we see if we can get some volunteers
[48:32]
there's all kinds of time on land and we always have people coming and saying what kind of trees do you recommend
[48:38]
and what kind of little but why don't we do something when we do a little garden where we have salt
[48:43]
All town trees and, you know, I mean, I don't want to say a gardener or just an area where
[48:50]
we could show people what works here, you know, maybe it's out here, it's an old town hall
[48:57]
or at the library.
[48:58]
I don't know.
[48:58]
But some people are looking great.
[49:00]
And then just a little have placards on it and say, this is what this is and they might love
[49:04]
it.
[49:05]
I mean, it'd be kind of cool.
[49:07]
There's plenty of places we could do it here where it would get some benefit.
[49:11]
Well, we actually, the designer that was down kind of where the e-bike place he was putting
[49:20]
in really native and hardy species and it would have been really nice to see how that was
[49:29]
actually doing because I don't even know where it was exactly.
[49:35]
Well, I think the guy that you loved, or that you guys liked was the Wilcox's Lansing
[49:40]
at Berkdeck, because he used, he was using all kinds of native stuff like sumac, and
[49:46]
I think he was the one that you guys really liked.
[49:48]
Well, there was another guy that they were doing just a small one, right down.
[49:52]
Oh, you're right.
[49:53]
You're right.
[49:54]
It was a ring garden.
[49:56]
Yeah.
[49:57]
It was a ring garden.
[49:58]
Well, no.
[49:58]
It was.
[49:59]
It was.
[49:59]
Okay.
[50:00]
It looks kind of small in depression.
[50:01]
Yeah.
[50:01]
And I know I've actually been there because I bought a couple bucks from them, but I don't I don't know if that stands it
[50:09]
I don't know if it was there. No, it was anywhere it was. It was it was in between
[50:16]
Yeah, I could ask them. Yeah. Yeah. Well, go look at it and see if it's you know
[50:21]
I could figure it I could find out. I mean, I personally love the idea of having somebody like a little pops
[50:29]
post the demonstration garden on their site.
[50:33]
Hold on to that in the heat.
[50:34]
That maintains it.
[50:36]
It looks like you put all the same trees in.
[50:40]
Were they cherries?
[50:42]
I think they're cherries.
[50:43]
I know.
[50:45]
Well, I don't think you can be sure as they die who replace them.
[50:49]
Yeah, yeah.
[50:50]
Yeah, I have an article I'm in.
[50:53]
I told William about it.
[50:54]
It was about the history of chess.
[50:58]
It was very, very well done and I got to find it and send it to you, John, so you can send it to everyone.
[51:05]
Yeah.
[51:07]
But maybe that's another idea rather than having the time to do it.
[51:11]
Yeah.
[51:11]
Having you do it on some business in the center of town.
[51:15]
Especially where they have irrigation.
[51:17]
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[51:17]
They can maintain it.
[51:18]
Yeah.
[51:19]
And I mean, they got a plant anyway, so.
[51:23]
Yeah.
[51:23]
No, I think that's a great deal.
[51:26]
Okay.
[51:27]
Maybe we can talk to some kind of about it.
[51:29]
We can go there next month.
[51:32]
All right.
[51:33]
Excellent.
[51:34]
So Cheryl, I'll open you up.
[51:37]
Yeah.
[51:37]
We need a part of that.
[51:38]
And see what the next steps are on that.
[51:41]
You know the website.
[51:44]
Next is Fox Point Showline Civilization Discussion.
[51:48]
And we are meeting with the black cards.
[51:54]
What is it?
[51:55]
I can see what you say.
[51:56]
So yeah, then I got another, I had a camera in the world's
[52:05]
name from Riverside Pickers.
[52:07]
Here's the, here's the, here's the, I saw her in Monday.
[52:11]
She came in the office and said, what's going on?
[52:13]
You guys want to do anything with that project?
[52:16]
It's a lot of work right now, we're going to go talk to the board of select, because I think
[52:21]
some of us got sick or shocked, and we're now wondering if it's even, if it even makes
[52:24]
sense to spend a lot of money on this. So she said, do you want me to put together a rough
[52:29]
budget? I said, if you can do it, sure, I said, I don't want you to spend 40 hours, but if
[52:34]
you can, and I told her what I'm meeting was, because if we had an idea of what it was going
[52:38]
to cost, you know, I mean, if it's $5 million, you might just say, let's just lose 30 feet
[52:45]
more land you know if it's a million bucks you might say yeah it's worth it's
[52:49]
worth saving the point so hopefully she'll have that I totally hear me with
[52:56]
a select one on Wednesday next week hopefully we'll have that by then but
[52:59]
that's I guess that's what we all need to think about is you know there's there's
[53:03]
some serious talk now potentially building the fire station public safety
[53:08]
complex back here that's gonna be expensive I'm assuming you know and this and
[53:14]
And then Fox Point will come up, I don't know what else is on the, we're looking at the future,
[53:19]
but the time when they spent so much money, so, and my sense is that we're not going to,
[53:28]
our conservation fund is not going to be replenished.
[53:32]
They just don't think there's any, there's not much more land left to take out of them,
[53:43]
to
[53:44]
know what land is currently and there is. We do, but there's not much. I don't think the
[53:50]
coldlands is, they don't think, and they don't think spitties is. Spitties, that's not.
[53:56]
I don't think so. Well, it might be. Is it a cruise? Let me check. Let me check.
[54:03]
Being a farm might actually be under farm usage. And because that might be another one too.
[54:09]
Yeah, I don't think that's has any development attention. I guess pretty what but it's let me let me find
[54:17]
I was hoping hard he was a great use but
[54:30]
Yeah, there's only 10 acres
[54:35]
Trading to yeah, I don't it's a real sure I don't I don't
[54:39]
I think so, but I'll get a list of current use properties so we have them.
[54:44]
But my biggest point is, the point is I don't think we're going to be replenishing our
[54:51]
fun anytime soon because I just don't see anything in the pipeline that's going to be
[54:55]
developed in current use.
[54:59]
I specifically for XPY, I think it's that of all projects that be most critical, again,
[55:06]
a townwide, I mean I know we have to legally do that if we go forward but just before we
[55:15]
even do anything I think it's, I don't know if we hold the residence.
[55:20]
Well I had the suspicion, or would they say no we have to, we absolutely have to do it.
[55:25]
I had this discussion with Jeremy Boston and I said you know I bet there's a lot of people
[55:29]
in Newington that don't even know about Fox Mike.
[55:32]
Oh that's not true.
[55:32]
And then he sort of said that you know what you could be right there's a lot really use it
[55:37]
But it's a small group
[55:40]
It's the same group that you said a lot
[55:42]
It's shit
[55:46]
So I think I think I can use it for years
[55:50]
And then you have to tell me
[55:51]
Well I think that's the people I was just telling you to move here from Manhattan they had already found it
[55:55]
They had moved here, they're moving here from Manhattan they had already found it
[56:00]
But I don't know how important it is to be the other side's town.
[56:07]
Right.
[56:07]
And if you live on a Greenland side, maybe you don't ever go there.
[56:11]
I don't know.
[56:12]
Yeah.
[56:13]
And then the other question is, and maybe Jane is better equipped to answer this than anybody,
[56:18]
but what is the future hole for that point?
[56:22]
You know, it's been eroding for 40 years.
[56:25]
but my sense is that if you follow us being going down to East Coast, the rate of erosion
[56:34]
has gotten to be significantly greater.
[56:37]
So what is the next 10 or 15?
[56:38]
I mean, there's a whole point to go on, then we're troubled.
[56:41]
We lose five feet in the next 20 years and who cares?
[56:44]
But I don't know, storm seems to be getting worse and worse and more frequent.
[56:48]
I think the point is more important to those that are landlocked, that don't own land on
[56:53]
the water.
[56:54]
It's there it's like it's your right right it's your work. Yeah, I don't disagree.
[57:04]
I
[57:04]
Guess the big question is how much the spend the money to
[57:10]
Preserve what they I sent you a couple of emails with some ideas about
[57:17]
You're sorry if we don't understand the money
[57:23]
and have it as a senior project, or I forget what the name of their project is on over there.
[57:29]
And there's also money available from DES, when you just sort of wetlands you pay into a bun,
[57:38]
and I can't remember what it is.
[57:40]
Don't get changed.
[57:42]
It's called the RIFI for it, because it's not public access.
[57:47]
Oh, okay.
[57:47]
So yeah, we, yeah, I've had 5.50 years in multiple years.
[57:53]
Yeah,
[57:55]
I mean, they, they, it's not the permitting that's expensive, you know, the permitting
[58:02]
proposal is around 50 grand, which is, I actually didn't think it was that bad because
[58:06]
it contains very much of a survey work and, but it's the actual, it's the current change.
[58:12]
I mean, the last job that we saw that before you joined the commission that was just
[58:18]
completed, the group we found we trust, I mean they hauled that granite down from Redstone,
[58:26]
from Glen New Hampshire, from Glen New Hampshire.
[58:28]
Glen New York County County County County County County County County.
[58:31]
I mean, they were doing one or two trucks a day and I mean, just the truck, so just the stone
[58:36]
alone was expensive. And it was slow go. So that's the problem. And there's no other way
[58:44]
to fix. I don't think there's any other way to fix that point in the natural vegetation.
[58:49]
And never going to fix it.
[58:51]
I remember, actually, our, is it Paul that's going to be at the meeting with the Board of
[58:56]
Selectors and also that could potentially look into grants for us?
[59:01]
Paul, the shame.
[59:01]
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I just think that I always let look at Jane because I think she turns it
[59:08]
No, she is a sour taste of them because it just doesn't seem like me. We didn't ever get a fair shake when it comes with
[59:13]
DPS ones, you know, like that this one of the the monies that we generate revenue for this thing here
[59:21]
It goes to absent, you know, the the coastal the coastal zone is crazy huge
[59:26]
Yeah, like why is it going to absent?
[59:28]
I mean, I guess they're typically in the coastal watershed, but we don't mean a five-central time we haven't gotten this down.
[59:35]
Well, that would be a hidey, so maybe we have an image.
[59:39]
Actually, I think it was DOT that we actually got more because my way,
[59:44]
because they had to, some, there was a change in regulations that they had to provide some mitigation
[59:55]
in the towns that they were taught doing it, which...
[1:00:00]
And Paul is, I don't know what his title is, he's like a special project guy. I mean, he was a stratum
[1:00:10]
town manager, administrator for years, very good. So, and he's a good grant writer. So, I mean,
[1:00:17]
he'll, I talked to him, in fact, Jeremy Boston, I had a meeting with, I can't hear someone's
[1:00:25]
name from D.G.S. about grant money for Fox Point, but she didn't have a lot of help for us.
[1:00:40]
So maybe we'll have more accurate information on Wednesday next week.
[1:00:45]
So it's talking about Fox Point.
[1:00:46]
What is Paul doing there?
[1:00:48]
What's his farmer, the farmer?
[1:00:52]
I don't know.
[1:00:52]
And he's cut down the field and he's spreading stuff.
[1:00:55]
What's this?
[1:00:57]
I don't know.
[1:00:58]
I don't know.
[1:00:59]
I don't know.
[1:01:00]
I thought I heard that he had gotten there.
[1:01:03]
Yes.
[1:01:03]
He did break up the grounds.
[1:01:05]
Yeah.
[1:01:05]
Even though we never signed it.
[1:01:06]
Yeah.
[1:01:09]
So, are you seeding?
[1:01:11]
We don't know.
[1:01:11]
He's got a big pile of wood or something else.
[1:01:14]
Right.
[1:01:16]
And that white stuff is all gone.
[1:01:23]
Yeah, he's done the north and south fields as far as cutting it down.
[1:01:27]
How's the mulling out there, by the way?
[1:01:29]
Oh, it's been fantastic.
[1:01:32]
It's been fantastic.
[1:01:32]
It's much better.
[1:01:33]
Oh, good, good.
[1:01:34]
Yeah, just really good.
[1:01:35]
It was a little slow in the beginning.
[1:01:37]
Yeah.
[1:01:38]
They had an under control.
[1:01:39]
Yeah, great job.
[1:01:40]
Good.
[1:01:42]
They're using the good more.
[1:01:44]
Yeah.
[1:01:46]
Yeah.
[1:01:47]
Okay, well Jeremy, we're happy to hear that.
[1:01:49]
I'll find out what Paul the farmer's doing.
[1:01:51]
Can you cut down the field by the house?
[1:01:54]
By the house?
[1:01:55]
No, no, no.
[1:01:56]
How did that?
[1:01:57]
Oh, they did.
[1:01:57]
Try again, though.
[1:01:58]
What do you think?
[1:01:59]
Yep.
[1:02:00]
Did I chase house?
[1:02:01]
Yeah.
[1:02:02]
Yeah.
[1:02:05]
I know that.
[1:02:07]
Oh, and one of the things that one of the discussions
[1:02:09]
that we did have with DES when Paul the Shane Jeremy
[1:02:13]
and I were on the phone was, could we split?
[1:02:16]
at Fox Point into two parts.
[1:02:20]
So let's just say, so we could get money for the point,
[1:02:25]
but have the boat ramp and the rest of it out
[1:02:28]
of that area.
[1:02:30]
So at that point, it's, I don't know.
[1:02:34]
That is a Pandora's Box, you're opening.
[1:02:36]
Yeah.
[1:02:38]
I mean, I think you all know, I question whether or not
[1:02:42]
anybody would ever use Fox Point, but you're all there
[1:02:46]
and you do see people from out of town.
[1:02:47]
The Massachusetts, Maine, New York.
[1:02:50]
I mean, it's not like wagon wheeling.
[1:02:51]
You drive by there and it's a zoo in the wintertime.
[1:02:53]
Yeah.
[1:02:53]
But that's why they move forward.
[1:02:54]
So it's a little bit different.
[1:02:56]
But I mean, if it's a gamble, you don't want to take them.
[1:03:01]
Because it won't stop there.
[1:03:03]
Then they'll see what's there.
[1:03:04]
Yeah.
[1:03:05]
And they'll use it.
[1:03:06]
Yeah.
[1:03:09]
So that was one of the ideas that came up
[1:03:12]
in the being was splitting into two parcels which I'm making one public access.
[1:03:19]
You're putting a cast on the issue and you're not going to want that.
[1:03:23]
Which would then allow public access.
[1:03:27]
Of course, they couldn't dry down the road.
[1:03:32]
You're only going to come by water.
[1:03:34]
Which is what they somehow do.
[1:03:36]
Oh really?
[1:03:37]
Oh yeah.
[1:03:38]
Not so much this year.
[1:03:39]
Last year.
[1:03:40]
There were a lot of people coming.
[1:03:41]
because they couldn't park it, so they're trying to put it. Yeah. Yeah. That's crazy. And then the
[1:03:48]
flammers come in by water. Oh, from a lever. Where are? Okay. And because they can, they can't
[1:03:55]
plan on the age, but they can't park. Yeah, but that makes it hard. All right, we'll see how that
[1:04:03]
I'm happy to go next week.
[1:04:05]
I'm a very 20, 27 budget discussion.
[1:04:09]
I know.
[1:04:10]
We didn't even have the form, because Martha had asked you
[1:04:14]
and I, I think, to discuss it.
[1:04:16]
But I talked to Chris Whalen today, Sheryl's replacement.
[1:04:24]
And he doesn't even have our budget forms ready until he
[1:04:27]
won't have ready until next week.
[1:04:29]
But we could talk about, I mean, we know the budget is
[1:04:32]
It's pretty good bones.
[1:04:34]
I think it's less than that.
[1:04:35]
Yeah, it's less than that.
[1:04:37]
I mean, I don't think, just out of town,
[1:04:41]
my head, I wouldn't change anything.
[1:04:43]
I don't think you're over here.
[1:04:44]
But does the website, is it looks like an album?
[1:04:46]
Maybe add some supplies for the website, basically.
[1:04:51]
And not with that.
[1:04:52]
Maybe if we need to get some professional advice.
[1:04:57]
We haven't met one of our members yet.
[1:05:04]
I don't know what she does for work, maybe she's a web designer, she's a web designer but I was thinking that she does great Christmas cards.
[1:05:17]
We don't care about that, we need a web designer.
[1:05:21]
She was positive about not being able to come tonight, but maybe she's got, maybe there's a skill that she has.
[1:05:27]
Yeah, they have someone yummy.
[1:05:29]
And right, so...
[1:05:33]
But I don't think that's a bad, maybe it might be worth throwing a few bucks in for assistance.
[1:05:41]
Yeah, you're going to do a little bit of it, right?
[1:05:43]
Yeah,
[1:05:46]
so how many bucks are we going to throw?
[1:05:54]
We don't even have the template because they're going to be released next week, according to
[1:06:00]
the budget template.
[1:06:03]
It's going to have to go.
[1:06:04]
I mean, I don't even know when we're up.
[1:06:07]
So this I have like $4,595.
[1:06:13]
Well, to do with this question, when is the conservation commission going to be in further
[1:06:30]
Okay
[1:06:36]
so let's table out for programs I have to hand
[1:06:43]
All right um- so let's review the town like
[1:06:51]
Yes, I have some questions on this.
[1:06:55]
Is this one John Liu after the last one or maybe?
[1:07:00]
Yes.
[1:07:00]
You know, he still has issues.
[1:07:03]
Yeah, this problem.
[1:07:05]
Well, I don't think there'd be problems.
[1:07:07]
Well, the bare conservation easements on the brown side of the road.
[1:07:10]
I mean, I was, I can't be so confused.
[1:07:13]
Oh, laying on the brown side of the road.
[1:07:17]
See, listening.
[1:07:18]
I'm not.
[1:07:19]
I'm trying to shut this thing off, and it will not shut off.
[1:07:22]
I'm worried.
[1:07:23]
So you should have left it with me.
[1:07:28]
Where's the bear?
[1:07:30]
It's on the other side of the road.
[1:07:32]
Yes, it is.
[1:07:33]
No, it's not.
[1:07:34]
Yes, it is.
[1:07:34]
It's not by the water.
[1:07:36]
It's on the other side.
[1:07:42]
I'm so confused, where am I?
[1:07:49]
What was the question?
[1:07:50]
No, this is the bear.
[1:07:51]
Oh, well, bear's in the wrong spot.
[1:07:53]
Oh, yes.
[1:07:54]
It's on the right side of the road.
[1:07:56]
Yeah, that's the problem.
[1:07:58]
It's not the right side of the road but it's in the wrong area.
[1:08:02]
It's across the street.
[1:08:04]
It's across the street.
[1:08:05]
Yeah, it's across the street.
[1:08:05]
Who's on this water?
[1:08:07]
Is it this very right here?
[1:08:09]
This is very right here.
[1:08:11]
Yeah, yeah, they're over here.
[1:08:12]
There's not on the water there over here.
[1:08:15]
Oh, I thought this was there.
[1:08:17]
No, this is the water.
[1:08:19]
This is fish and game, right?
[1:08:21]
No, that's supposed to be there.
[1:08:23]
It's saying this is saying there and the fishing game is right beside them.
[1:08:28]
What is this though?
[1:08:30]
That says Bear.
[1:08:31]
I know, but what is it?
[1:08:32]
It should be a fishing game.
[1:08:33]
Let me do it.
[1:08:34]
Yeah.
[1:08:34]
Okay.
[1:08:35]
What's the lake mean here?
[1:08:36]
And that says fishing game.
[1:08:38]
Is that all fishing here?
[1:08:39]
I think it is.
[1:08:40]
But it could be all on this side.
[1:08:42]
Yeah.
[1:08:43]
It could be true.
[1:08:44]
So, like, it's an area of 52-6.
[1:08:47]
That says undeveloped.
[1:08:49]
That's just a town.
[1:08:50]
That's a point road.
[1:08:51]
What?
[1:08:53]
52-6?
[1:08:55]
That's at the end of the airport road.
[1:08:56]
It's up here. Oh, it does say zero.
[1:08:59]
Let me just make this one correction.
[1:09:06]
Okay, so that was the first one.
[1:09:09]
I think that was my bad.
[1:09:10]
You did the same.
[1:09:11]
I didn't pick up on that.
[1:09:12]
Yeah.
[1:09:15]
Okay, 52, 6, Louie and...
[1:09:18]
It just has to be the airport room instead of a hospital room.
[1:09:22]
On the list.
[1:09:25]
There's stuff there's database.
[1:09:40]
Oh, and by the way, I think you have two different versions, one has tax maps, math and
[1:09:46]
lots, and one doesn't, because I think you guys said it was too busy, so I couldn't tell
[1:09:52]
the difference.
[1:09:53]
No, I can't tell.
[1:09:55]
Oh, it's this one, this one has all the tax stuff.
[1:09:59]
So I don't know which one do you like better?
[1:10:01]
No.
[1:10:06]
So I don't know which one you like better, but it's just a key share of the chain.
[1:10:10]
Yeah, I was, I messed up, I agreed.
[1:10:16]
What, would you remember what?
[1:10:17]
Taking out the pass lines.
[1:10:21]
Would you say, Laura?
[1:10:23]
This one, this one doesn't have the,
[1:10:26]
oh my god, that's right, I know that.
[1:10:28]
Yeah.
[1:10:29]
And Laura likes to hold out the pass map a lot.
[1:10:31]
OK.
[1:10:32]
OK, then, I'll add the, his flip.
[1:10:38]
And then it says town of Millington is 1014 and says his look underneath that and that's not right.
[1:10:48]
Okay.
[1:10:49]
That was the Sava.
[1:10:52]
Yep.
[1:10:54]
And so...
[1:10:56]
So wait, what is his look?
[1:10:58]
His looks the...
[1:11:01]
No, I know that.
[1:11:02]
But is that all one?
[1:11:04]
Is yours and David's?
[1:11:05]
or do you do anything to these?
[1:11:06]
I know, I only have five acres.
[1:11:09]
Oh, okay, okay.
[1:11:10]
Got you.
[1:11:10]
Yes, that's all.
[1:11:11]
Okay.
[1:11:12]
Oh, it's in David's name.
[1:11:14]
Yes.
[1:11:14]
It's the family.
[1:11:15]
Yeah.
[1:11:16]
So I don't know.
[1:11:17]
That's because of the old Sava or Night Hill.
[1:11:21]
I don't know what you're calling it now.
[1:11:23]
It's listed as Night Hill.
[1:11:25]
Yeah.
[1:11:25]
Do you want to call it Night Hill?
[1:11:26]
Yeah.
[1:11:27]
I don't know if there's a way of
[1:11:30]
The linearity, the difference between the two properties.
[1:11:43]
The thick line.
[1:11:49]
Oh, see.
[1:11:52]
And that's over there.
[1:11:55]
And then Tricky's code, so 62, is the old beam property.
[1:12:03]
Because that's fishing game.
[1:12:06]
Yeah, down here, that's fishing game.
[1:12:07]
So yeah, so that oh that's not even labeled as it. Well, it's labeled by the number and it's also green so zone by
[1:12:18]
other organizations that's fishing game.
[1:12:22]
What's the name of that road gene?
[1:12:25]
Beans, beans, beans, beans, beans, beans, beans.
[1:12:28]
I just got another argument with some local survey about that.
[1:12:31]
Because all of our records have it as beans without an apostrophe.
[1:12:35]
And they had their stories of being, I don't think it's beans, but I'm not the surveyor at the theme.
[1:12:44]
I think it's beans.
[1:12:46]
I mean in this car, we're up at the poster fee.
[1:12:48]
Yeah.
[1:12:50]
Tricky's go up at the poster fee.
[1:12:52]
I don't think Tricky's go up at the poster fee though.
[1:12:55]
Yeah, I think we're right.
[1:13:01]
The poster thing is all right.
[1:13:03]
There's anything else.
[1:13:17]
Oh, we're missing.
[1:13:18]
Can we read the end of Patterson Lane?
[1:13:22]
I guess that is red.
[1:13:25]
1418?
[1:13:26]
1418.
[1:13:27]
Do they could be blown up a little bit?
[1:13:31]
Right there.
[1:13:32]
The bow ramp.
[1:13:33]
How about the ramp?
[1:13:37]
Oh, that one.
[1:13:39]
The bow ramp in the end of Patterson?
[1:13:40]
It's not on the list.
[1:13:42]
I don't know.
[1:13:43]
It's not a numerical source.
[1:13:44]
I don't know.
[1:13:45]
I'll turn it next right now.
[1:13:46]
No, wait a minute.
[1:13:47]
Is there a lot of it?
[1:13:48]
Is it?
[1:13:50]
Yeah.
[1:13:50]
That's where I couldn't find it.
[1:13:52]
I was looking.
[1:13:53]
It's called the sack over.
[1:13:54]
Oh, there's the outer side.
[1:13:56]
It's not.
[1:13:57]
It's not.
[1:13:58]
I know where it is, but it's not.
[1:14:00]
Why not?
[1:14:00]
Because I'm not a resident.
[1:14:02]
Oh, okay.
[1:14:03]
Yeah.
[1:14:04]
Not because I didn't hate the word.
[1:14:06]
He would.
[1:14:07]
Yeah.
[1:14:09]
I have no idea how much I love it.
[1:14:10]
At least once a week.
[1:14:11]
I always go up.
[1:14:15]
Yeah, and it's a kind of out-of-bit worker, yeah.
[1:14:19]
So why is it clean?
[1:14:21]
It's a clean spit in town owned property, but it's green.
[1:14:26]
It's not red. There must be a reason that I don't know.
[1:14:31]
That's a concern, isn't it?
[1:14:32]
Well, 19 acres.
[1:14:35]
I don't think it's 19 acres, is it?
[1:14:37]
Well, they read because of every source, our lines.
[1:14:42]
yeah so they read that you did some I know but it seemed like a small piece I'll check on that
[1:14:53]
I know I know just the person I will know
[1:15:02]
Oh, goat island. Is that fishing gate? Who on earth is that? Is anybody know? Is that different? That's the town. I think no. I think goat island is a new, I think it's a new way too. I haven't know from last time that we said it was dark green as a conservation and we asked it to be changed. To light green? I know it's not. I think hand islands all by the time, right? Oh, it says State of New Hampshire.
[1:15:28]
sure.
[1:15:31]
Well there we go. Yeah and that was that was owned by the man that owned this lab.
[1:15:40]
Oh really? Yeah and he was a big burner or say is it a noise? It's got a sky.
[1:15:47]
I mean the river isn't it the threat of the river that's in the water?
[1:15:57]
Yeah.
[1:15:59]
So John, do you have, basically, are you getting these, like, is this all one file?
[1:16:05]
Like, so once we get it corrected, Cheryl could add it to the website, okay.
[1:16:09]
And if you wanted it, I mean, I, all just engineers do any, so they, they'll keep the
[1:16:15]
files.
[1:16:16]
Um, what I was going to say is we can split it into two years of time, but if, I think if
[1:16:20]
we, I think we printed this out like a full size, you know, 30, 30 by, uh, 24, it would
[1:16:27]
much more readable, but for the purposes of viewing, this is fine. But yeah, and I think
[1:16:33]
we'll clean up, put it for, make it nice looking. It's kind of basic now, but it might be
[1:16:38]
nice to actually send this as a pamphlet wire to the townspeople. I'm sure they have no
[1:16:43]
idea. You're probably right. Is it PDF, you mean? Yeah, you know that would be good. Okay,
[1:16:53]
Yeah, yeah, but it would be nice to have one.
[1:17:01]
Yeah, yeah, it will clean it up.
[1:17:03]
Yeah, even if it's on a board that we can just put in
[1:17:10]
for our meetings, I cannot hear you a little bit sorry.
[1:17:14]
If we printed this like John say in the large format,
[1:17:18]
then you can just have it on a board that we put it at least
[1:17:21]
you see them bring in here for our evenings, not.
[1:17:24]
If we can have a mounted grate, but if we can't,
[1:17:27]
we'll do that as well.
[1:17:28]
We can mount it.
[1:17:29]
All right.
[1:17:30]
Excellent.
[1:17:31]
And we're going to go with the one without math and math.
[1:17:35]
Yeah, I think that makes it less too busy.
[1:17:40]
So what I would do this time is clean all this up,
[1:17:43]
and I'll have them printed in a large paper,
[1:17:46]
and then we can all look at them one final time,
[1:17:48]
and then we'll have for that we'll make any last
[1:17:52]
of the corrections and then we'll produce it.
[1:17:54]
Is that good?
[1:17:55]
Sure.
[1:17:55]
I have one question, though.
[1:17:57]
On the side of the green, what is that yellow?
[1:17:59]
Is that road that goes across from one green area
[1:18:03]
to the next green area?
[1:18:05]
Is that our rhythm?
[1:18:08]
Oh, now that drive.
[1:18:12]
Is that what used to be, which is now our rhythm?
[1:18:16]
This is our rhythm.
[1:18:17]
Yeah, it does say our rhythm at the top and then it turns
[1:18:19]
or that it turns into a miracle, is that what it is?
[1:18:22]
Is that true?
[1:18:23]
Maybe anybody gets down about it.
[1:18:25]
I am not an idiot.
[1:18:28]
Where does it seem like, right?
[1:18:30]
Right, right before it gets into the big.
[1:18:32]
Right, you will.
[1:18:33]
Oh, right, right.
[1:18:35]
It's on Google Maps as a miracle.
[1:18:38]
That's not true.
[1:18:40]
It's on Google Maps, it's got to be true.
[1:18:44]
Well, I mean, Luna, you lose your heart.
[1:18:46]
I think it's operative.
[1:18:46]
Yeah, I thought, I mean, just take it out,
[1:18:53]
and I know several GPSs are putting people
[1:18:59]
on our burrito and not me and I'm going to go across the gate.
[1:19:03]
I've had several calls, the gate won't open, so so many people have finished any of these.
[1:19:09]
Why are you giving calls?
[1:19:11]
Because they were coming to my house for a party.
[1:19:13]
Oh no!
[1:19:13]
Oh, and they were, so I'm making sure I tell everyone to get off and exit four.
[1:19:21]
This is a lot of visitors to help.
[1:19:23]
Yeah.
[1:19:24]
Yeah.
[1:19:25]
I would probably, you know, just somebody try to do that.
[1:19:30]
Yeah.
[1:19:30]
Do the edits.
[1:19:32]
Yeah.
[1:19:33]
Okay.
[1:19:34]
Turn back.
[1:19:35]
Okay.
[1:19:35]
So I'll head over to advice for our next meeting.
[1:19:39]
All right.
[1:19:40]
The future project called today, so I was able to, but this, this, well, October 6th at the Library of Packery is called from the day.
[1:19:53]
I can't make it from the name.
[1:19:55]
Close credit, you know.
[1:19:56]
Oh my god.
[1:19:57]
That was fun.
[1:19:58]
That was fun.
[1:19:59]
Um, the, uh, I'm liking all the woman's name right now, but she is going to talk about
[1:20:09]
gardening for wildlife and Diana's a luka.
[1:20:13]
She's a senior biologist from New Hampshire, Audubon, and
[1:20:20]
this is a presentation she has
[1:20:22]
done before.
[1:20:23]
So I, not in Newington, but she's presented it at Audubon High Quars before so I know it's
[1:20:30]
gonna be a good one.
[1:20:37]
I think it was like two, two, fifty, or it was less than three hundred dollars.
[1:20:43]
Okay.
[1:20:44]
So can't have food that makes any sense.
[1:20:46]
I can't charge any...
[1:20:49]
That's happy.
[1:20:52]
Why it all makes sense.
[1:20:55]
We can definitely not food.
[1:20:56]
So if you talk about food at our September meeting, Marth was going to put it in the newsletter for September and October.
[1:21:16]
Do we put on the postcards too? I think we have a sign up, don't you?
[1:21:20]
Yes.
[1:21:20]
Do we have a cap or are we not worried about that?
[1:21:24]
We've never really reached it.
[1:21:26]
Okay, I think a couple have been getting kind of closed, but yeah, okay. Well, I did talk to Laura, and she said that that room actually standing
[1:21:36]
Can take what did she tell me like 75 people. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, okay
[1:21:42]
Yeah, we don't have that many chairs
[1:21:45]
Yeah, that would be a good problem to have is we have to cap attendance
[1:21:53]
Did you have anything else, John, in terms of future projects?
[1:21:58]
Well, just in my disappointment, I think I copy you on some of the emails.
[1:22:02]
And our last meeting, we said we were going to try to do a site walk tonight,
[1:22:05]
that Carter's Rock and Trinkets go.
[1:22:08]
Yeah.
[1:22:08]
I sent four emails to Dwayne and then to Dwayne said,
[1:22:15]
why don't you talk to this one when I came to her name?
[1:22:17]
I think I copied Laura on a couple of these emails and nothing.
[1:22:21]
And that was kind of disappointing, you know, because, you know, we do pay them, or we
[1:22:25]
paid them to oversee these causations.
[1:22:30]
And I was kind of disappointed that she didn't even just get back to me and acknowledge
[1:22:32]
me, like, hey, it's summer, I'm just too busy with nothing, that's four emails later.
[1:22:37]
So that was, I was kind of bummed about that.
[1:22:42]
But, you know, maybe next time, maybe, you know, maybe I'll hear from her eventually.
[1:22:47]
But I think she's the woman that does those reports that we get over here saying that she's the one that just did the presentation for us for spring for the day.
[1:22:58]
Well, it's summer, you know. I will say this when I was working with her for spring for the day, she was not speedy.
[1:23:11]
It's possible that we could still get something, but I agree, it's not a great way of doing this.
[1:23:18]
Yeah, and again, I know it would have been fine, but yeah.
[1:23:24]
But I wouldn't like to, because I think it was a great start of the last meeting.
[1:23:29]
Yeah, and he said that there's really nothing there.
[1:23:31]
And that may be true, but I think we should at least go down there and see where the
[1:23:35]
approximate boundaries are.
[1:23:36]
And we can do to make it, make, provide access to the public if we can, we can't.
[1:23:44]
I think he said there were some basics in the Poison Ivy, it's really, I'm sorry, there's
[1:23:52]
a Poison Ivy and some basics over there.
[1:23:56]
Poison Ivy's everywhere.
[1:23:59]
Okay, we'll open up your e-mails and see if we can...
[1:24:05]
Maybe you have more...
[1:24:08]
I don't know about the cloud.
[1:24:10]
I'm just signing a share.
[1:24:15]
Does anybody else have anything in terms of future projects?
[1:24:20]
Other than the website?
[1:24:22]
Other than Fox Point?
[1:24:23]
No.
[1:24:24]
I don't have future projects, but I know we had mentioned the last time about the bridge
[1:24:29]
project that's going on with the area that they're working in, so the bridge, the general
[1:24:36]
solid bridge, and you would ask if they were going to, like what it was going to look like
[1:24:41]
when they were done, they were going to put it back to the way that it was prior to.
[1:24:46]
So there will be access up into that area for fishing and stuff, but it's going to have
[1:24:50]
the bottlers probably and they he said if they wanted if we wanted a parking area that
[1:24:56]
would have to go through the town and they would have to be engineered with him by putting
[1:25:02]
it back.
[1:25:03]
They leave a bridge above the bottler probably with a bottler so at least that might be the
[1:25:09]
place.
[1:25:09]
There will still be access.
[1:25:13]
The other side is really damn nice, the new side of my, yeah, the over there and the
[1:25:24]
spiky tables and the bright and golden bridge.
[1:25:29]
Martha sent me an article today, but I don't have, I don't have any more clicks on Foster's,
[1:25:34]
so I couldn't open the article, but it was something about, you might know Heidi about the
[1:25:39]
the schedule is ramping up there and apparently there's going to be traffic delays. I just couldn't read the article, because I didn't try to do that.
[1:25:48]
So I don't know what's going on, but it might stay for a couple of months, I guess.
[1:25:54]
Are they leaving the abutments in the river?
[1:25:56]
I believe so, yeah.
[1:26:01]
I'm just taking the structure down.
[1:26:04]
Well, it would be nice to have access to the river from that point.
[1:26:07]
It's too bad we couldn't find a place to park a few cars in there, you know.
[1:26:11]
That was the big thing that I talked to the engineer, the district engineer, and he said
[1:26:16]
that there's no way to turn anywhere around in there so they can't have it as a parking
[1:26:20]
area.
[1:26:21]
We have a parking area of bloody point, I don't know who was that, you know, that little,
[1:26:27]
there's a four or five car parking lot down, if you pull into the house of bloody point,
[1:26:34]
I mean, there's a little parking lot down there.
[1:26:37]
They told us?
[1:26:38]
Yeah, but it told us.
[1:26:39]
It stayed on the side.
[1:26:39]
Yeah.
[1:26:41]
I mean, that's a pretty reasonable walk from there, underneath it.
[1:26:45]
But is there a side walk in the region?
[1:26:47]
There is.
[1:26:48]
On the north side.
[1:26:50]
The water side.
[1:26:51]
On the water side?
[1:26:51]
Yeah.
[1:26:52]
So that's not a bad walk.
[1:26:53]
But we still know the states that they were going to sell that five years ago.
[1:26:59]
They still have sold it.
[1:27:00]
So I don't know what's going to happen with bloody point, but that that would be a reasonable
[1:27:04]
parking lot.
[1:27:05]
It's already there, sort of, for I'd say four or five cars, and that would provide
[1:27:11]
parking.
[1:27:12]
Because I do worry about people parking outside of Lord, if they want to fish there.
[1:27:15]
Or pulling it and then having it back out on that curve.
[1:27:19]
Yeah.
[1:27:20]
Yeah.
[1:27:24]
That's exciting.
[1:27:25]
Yeah.
[1:27:26]
Thanks for calling up on that.
[1:27:28]
That might be, if we can get a site, walk out Tricky's cove, it might be interesting to look at the two right next to each other.
[1:27:36]
Right, because it would be directly about him.
[1:27:39]
Yeah, they about him.
[1:27:40]
Yeah.
[1:27:41]
Okay.
[1:27:41]
All right.
[1:27:44]
So I think last step was minutes.
[1:27:48]
Did
[1:27:54]
anybody sign up for the Change Maker program?
[1:27:57]
I did too.
[1:27:59]
Okay.
[1:27:59]
Okay, we'll see if I get accepted.
[1:28:03]
I need to do something.
[1:28:08]
You're doing something.
[1:28:09]
Jeff is sponsoring the Olympiad.
[1:28:11]
It's like it.
[1:28:12]
That's right.
[1:28:12]
That's right.
[1:28:13]
It's kind of the new.
[1:28:14]
Oh, yeah.
[1:28:15]
Yeah.
[1:28:21]
Oh.
[1:28:22]
Oh, yeah.
[1:28:23]
I'll tell it to you afterwards.
[1:28:25]
Okay.
[1:28:28]
Does anybody have any edits to make on the minutes?
[1:28:38]
Oh, how's that?
[1:28:39]
Lossy.
[1:28:40]
Going.
[1:28:44]
Well, not well. I mean, it's, you know, it's just grinding through. It's a judge that's here in the case, so I don't anticipate any, at the answer any time soon.
[1:28:56]
Our lawyer is Laura Stuckton-Morgan from LaConia, and she thinks it will probably be mid-late fall before we have it.
[1:29:07]
Is there a few things that were already dismissed?
[1:29:10]
Yeah, well dismissed and there's been some tweaks to the filing.
[1:29:17]
I think the judge, I admit I got in the lawyer but I think the judge allows some minor changes to the how it's filed but it's proceeding.
[1:29:29]
I think Laura asked for it to be just dismissed entirely and that didn't happen.
[1:29:36]
So it's going forward and hopefully for us, for everybody hopefully we have an interesting
[1:29:40]
because it's disappointed that we can't do anything with that land right now.
[1:29:47]
I do have a correction on page 4.
[1:29:52]
I think that's a constricted piece of signage, there you have a nice...
[1:30:00]
No. You didn't do a sign there. We didn't. I don't
[1:30:12]
have my numbers. Yeah. Sorry, Jay.
[1:30:19]
Okay.
[1:30:38]
Okay.
[1:30:43]
Anyone else? Everybody else is good. We have a motion to accept the minutes with the
[1:30:54]
Let me accept the minutes from June 11 with correction on page 4.
[1:31:10]
All right, everyone in favor?
[1:31:13]
All right.
[1:31:16]
Okay.
[1:31:17]
I just have one comment.
[1:31:19]
Sure.
[1:31:23]
the bean farm easement, the conservation easement there, the house that they're putting
[1:31:29]
up there, it's huge, but at least I think they're off the easement, but it's very
[1:31:34]
big.
[1:31:35]
It's huge.
[1:31:36]
Where?
[1:31:36]
The bean farm.
[1:31:37]
That's right there.
[1:31:38]
Oh, that's huge.
[1:31:39]
Oh, that's huge.
[1:31:42]
It's a paradise house.
[1:31:43]
Yeah, the person is a river.
[1:31:44]
Yeah, yes.
[1:31:45]
It's huge.
[1:31:46]
It's 6,000 square feet.
[1:31:48]
Yeah.
[1:31:48]
Yeah. Is it inmates? No. No. It was, I mean, I don't know, did you guys look at that?
[1:31:58]
Yeah. That was the one they were talking about swapping. Yeah. Yeah, I never got swapped.
[1:32:04]
But that was through ZBA and planning board. Oh, wow.
[1:32:08]
And there's very, very strict conditions to put on that. And we strongly advise the rabbi not to go forward,
[1:32:14]
but because basically it has to revert to an office building or a permitted use if they vacate the bill.
[1:32:24]
I was wondering what was going to happen in that case.
[1:32:27]
Right, and we just thought it was a pretty big investment to make unless they're going to be there for a very long time.
[1:32:35]
They're going to be there for years, and I guess it makes sense.
[1:32:40]
And they can't even revert to another religion, like if a Catholic church were to buy that
[1:32:48]
place, they couldn't live there, because Catholics don't have the same restrictions.
[1:32:53]
That's right.
[1:32:54]
That's travel.
[1:32:55]
They're not allowed to travel, or by car, I think, on certain holy days, but it's a big
[1:33:02]
house.
[1:33:03]
It looks nice.
[1:33:05]
It's pretty plain, but still it's nice.
[1:33:09]
I did want to mention, I think I sent everybody an email to attend a third meeting this month, which is the 24th.
[1:33:17]
And that is another Heidi, because you haven't been around for a long time, it's a weird situation.
[1:33:24]
This is a project for six hours, I think you have the plans, I believe.
[1:33:31]
If I didn't say any plans, you'll get them that way.
[1:33:34]
I'll get them to you.
[1:33:36]
It's 180,000 square foot manufacturing facility
[1:33:38]
on P's in Newington.
[1:33:41]
So you will look at it, and you will recommend of that.
[1:33:44]
Recommend the approval of it.
[1:33:46]
They've already been the ZBA.
[1:33:49]
It's a bizarre situation.
[1:33:50]
They come to the ZBA in Newington for a variance
[1:33:53]
for the P's development authority, ordinance.
[1:33:56]
And they don't grant it.
[1:33:57]
They recommend it, granting it.
[1:33:59]
It's bizarre, but they've always been very good to work with, and if we, I think generally
[1:34:05]
if we ask them to do something, they'll do it, they don't necessarily need to, but they've
[1:34:09]
been good.
[1:34:11]
Is it attached to their current?
[1:34:12]
No.
[1:34:13]
Across the street.
[1:34:14]
Across the street.
[1:34:15]
Yeah.
[1:34:15]
So you may have seen it before, not you and Jane did, maybe Lord, it got approved by, it got
[1:34:25]
that recommended five years ago, I think,
[1:34:28]
a lot during COA, I think.
[1:34:30]
And then they didn't build it.
[1:34:32]
I think it was a head to do with fuel lines
[1:34:36]
under the site.
[1:34:37]
There was a, I think they wanted a piece
[1:34:40]
that were moving or something.
[1:34:41]
And they gave it with a line of billions of them.
[1:34:43]
So that's been all straightened out.
[1:34:44]
Now they're going forward.
[1:34:45]
But since that period, their approval was lapsed
[1:34:49]
so they had to come back to the plan board
[1:34:52]
conservation commission on the CBA for approval.
[1:34:54]
Yeah, I think about three years ago they were working over there. I was biking over there
[1:34:59]
a fair amount and they were working on that section with the park lines and that kind of
[1:35:06]
stuff. So it took some time for them. How many acres are there involved?
[1:35:11]
Is it a big ten? Maybe. Wow. It's a pretty sizable slate. There's a lot of wetland there.
[1:35:17]
There's a cemetery. I mean it's been a while since I've looked at the plants but it's
[1:35:21]
It's a big, it's a big facility.
[1:35:23]
It's part manufacturing, part office, part warehouse.
[1:35:31]
So, yes, it's a big operation.
[1:35:33]
So I have a question.
[1:35:34]
And this is just a really awesome question.
[1:35:37]
You know what may know the answer to that?
[1:35:39]
But I have a piece right there on the radio.
[1:35:43]
And is there enough land there for a data center?
[1:35:50]
Who are you asking for?
[1:35:51]
The president asks things.
[1:35:52]
I'm asking.
[1:35:53]
What is the state of my hands for the world out there because obviously on the land?
[1:35:59]
Well, you know, it's an interesting question and I thought about it on the river because I think that you saw a water.
[1:36:09]
I think for cool, I don't know if we have enough water for it.
[1:36:13]
Oh, we have a river. What's sitting on lots of contaminated water?
[1:36:19]
Yeah, well, it's a good question, and I thought I was an Oregon two weeks ago, I guess it was, and I went by two, and they're massive, I mean, they're just gigantic.
[1:36:33]
I mean, I bet they were on 10 acres or lots, and they consume a lot of the 10 acres, so I don't know if there's room for peas.
[1:36:41]
and they don't generate a ton of jobs, they do generate jobs, but just their construction.
[1:36:48]
Well, I think some maintenance and probably some white color and then more blue color,
[1:36:54]
I guess I don't really, the parking lots, I'm a white, weren't huge, they weren't full.
[1:37:00]
So I don't know if that's something that the PDA would even entertain.
[1:37:03]
I don't know.
[1:37:04]
I mean the power draws.
[1:37:07]
We've got power.
[1:37:13]
I know I thought somewhere down the river wouldn't be a bad spot but I just don't know how
[1:37:19]
the red I mean I've never had any quarry but I think that's something you're running
[1:37:24]
for public office yeah that's we're trying to do it in Northwood or not in here not in
[1:37:31]
Yeah.
[1:37:31]
Yeah.
[1:37:32]
Yeah.
[1:37:33]
Wasn't there somebody wanting to tell about this?
[1:37:37]
Well, they've been talking about it.
[1:37:38]
Why?
[1:37:39]
It's a weird spot.
[1:37:40]
Because they have what?
[1:37:42]
Is there the same time that suit the water company?
[1:37:50]
Well, Barrington, yeah.
[1:37:51]
Oh, Barrington was the one that would suit the water company.
[1:37:53]
Oh, they suit the water company.
[1:37:54]
I mean, they were starting to put in and...
[1:37:56]
I thought it was normal.
[1:37:57]
But I think that is very good.
[1:37:58]
Yeah, it's very good.
[1:38:00]
Well, if anybody hears about my house is up to sale,
[1:38:05]
I can't stand the noise.
[1:38:07]
This noise is bugging the heck out of me.
[1:38:09]
I'm being stupid, I can't hear you, but...
[1:38:12]
So I will get you that.
[1:38:16]
I hear somebody else thinking that I get distracted.
[1:38:23]
The music, the music, the music, the music, the music.
[1:38:27]
The music, the music, the music, the music, the music, the music, the music.
[1:38:31]
And you are first on the agenda, I think, if not, it shouldn't take long.
[1:38:37]
We've seen this project before, you know, oddly enough, all of these companies are facing
[1:38:42]
the same thing.
[1:38:44]
Like, Subcom, they have a security fence around this facility enough, so, you know, you can't
[1:38:50]
drive in there, same like, same as Wilcox.
[1:38:53]
And that's why SIGS are needed at a variance because I don't think enough of the new, the
[1:38:58]
The P's will, the authority ordinance says, you can pay, I think it's like 15 feet from the front property line, but offenses have to be 75 feet back.
[1:39:07]
Well, they need, obviously, they need a fence right on the front property.
[1:39:10]
So they had to come and get a variance for a fence, which is ridiculous.
[1:39:17]
So that's why they're coming back.
[1:39:19]
But I shouldn't take a long time, I think they do a good job.
[1:39:23]
So how many people do you need to attend?
[1:39:28]
It would be nice to have three or four, you know, maybe, are you available, oh, okay.
[1:39:36]
I mean, it would be nice to have a four, but it would be wonderful, or it would be better.
[1:39:48]
I just, you know, it's worst case if they can't do it, you know, we could always have come
[1:39:52]
to the September meeting of the Cosmetric Commission, but I just wanted to get to this goal.
[1:39:57]
I think so, Jim.
[1:40:03]
Oh, playboard.
[1:40:04]
Yeah, six.
[1:40:05]
I was thinking of slightly.
[1:40:06]
Yeah.
[1:40:06]
Playboard, six block.
[1:40:07]
Yep.
[1:40:08]
It's the weapons.
[1:40:09]
I think that's five, three, isn't it?
[1:40:13]
Isn't it?
[1:40:14]
It's the weapon that's five, three.
[1:40:16]
Yeah.
[1:40:16]
Five, three.
[1:40:17]
Yeah.
[1:40:17]
Change.
[1:40:19]
I think it's sex.
[1:40:21]
That's me.
[1:40:23]
Anything else for anybody?
[1:40:25]
No.
[1:40:26]
Anything else good?
[1:40:28]
Not any good?
[1:40:29]
I had something, but it's escape, so yes.
[1:40:31]
Well, it's closed out the meeting and I don't remember.
[1:40:35]
Anyone want to make emotions, you are a jerk.
[1:40:40]
Uh-oh.
[1:40:40]
Yeah.
[1:40:42]
Oh, that's a little bit of shit.
[1:40:43]
Anything that's good I hear too?
[1:40:46]
No way, no way.
[1:40:47]
No way, no way.
[1:40:48]
I make a, I make a motion for you.
[1:40:52]
I'll second.
[1:40:53]
All in favor?
[1:40:54]
I can.
[1:40:54]
I burn that.
[1:40:56]
Seven, forty one.
[1:40:57]
Yeah.
[1:40:57]
Yeah.
[1:40:59]
Start it, curling.
[1:41:01]
Yeah.
[1:41:10]
Oh, there goes.
[1:41:12]
Oh.
[1:41:14]
Yeah, there's an accident on the highway.
[1:41:17]
Yeah.
[1:41:17]
So on the wind.
[1:41:18]
yeah they exit to go to the traffic circle and they aren't here? yeah they like
[1:41:29]
took out I don't know where it's like in the cops line, it was over and it's like
[1:41:34]
back to this close and then there were more cops up by peas so they weren't my
[1:41:42]
My schedule thinks I need it to get done.
