[0:20] Supervisors meeting. It is Wednesday, May 27th, 2026. I'd like to call the

[0:25] meeting to order. We'll begin with a pledge of allegiance and a moment of

[0:28] silence. Since it was just Memorial Day, let's continue to remember those heroes

[0:32] who lost their lives fighting for this country.

[0:36] Pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the

[0:41] republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and

[0:47] justice for all.

[1:04] There will be two opportunities for public comment this evening. The first

[1:08] is limited to agenda items only. Do we have anyone signed up this evening?

[1:14] » No. Okay. We'll move on to consent items. Uh first

[1:20] is approval of minutes April 22nd, 2026. Second is accounts payable May 13, 2026.

[1:27] Third, accounts payable May 27, 2026. And fourth, we have consideration of

[1:33] resolution R26-11. Supervisor Rose.

[1:36] » Yes. To help meet the township's unfunded mandate of the municipal

[1:40] separate storm water system permit. The township proposes improvements to an

[1:46] existing basin in the Deerfield North neighborhood located on Misty Meadow

[1:51] Drive by constructing new best management practices. BMPPS to

[1:57] reduce storm water flow. The basin is expected to achieve approximately 10 to

[2:02] 15% of the township sediment reduction requirement for the MS 4 program. To

[2:10] help cover the cost, the township proposes applying for a greener a

[2:14] growing greener grant offered by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental

[2:19] Protection to design the improvement. The total cost estimate to design this

[2:25] project is $90,000. The grant requested is $85,000 with a 5%

[2:31] township match of $4,500. A requirement of this grant program is

[2:37] for the boards of supervisors to adopt a resolution authorizing the application

[2:42] and designing the township designating the township manager and assistant

[2:47] township manager as the officials to execute all documents and agreements

[2:52] necessary. >> Thank you. Next is consideration uh for

[2:57] the authorization of a grant application for Richboro Elementary Crosswalk.

[3:01] Supervisor Moore. >> Sure. Thanks. U this is another um

[3:05] crosswalk that we're putting in town. As people drive around town, you see a lot

[3:08] of new sidewalks going in uh for public safety. You see a lot more crosswalks.

[3:12] This is directly in front of Richville Elementary School and it it across from

[3:17] Richville Elementary School, Glenfield Drive and Upper Holland Road. Cross over

[3:21] that, make it safe for kids. You have a lot of kids coming out of Richville

[3:24] Elementary School. They want to get home to be able to walk over there. It be a

[3:27] crosswalk. The nice thing, like with all the other projects in town, this once

[3:31] again will be a grant. the total cost projected to be just over $300,000 and

[3:36] um the portion of the township is about 17% about $51,000.

[3:40] So just another way of trying to advance public safety by putting more crosswalks

[3:44] and sidewalks in town. >> And finally among consent items is

[3:49] consideration for the appointment of Mario Santilly to building code board of

[3:53] appeals. Supervisor Lombardo, >> thank you. Um we had a recent

[3:57] resignation on the building court of approval appeals and uh we we had one uh

[4:02] interested applicant uh Mario Santilli. Um Mario seems to be well well

[4:08] qualified. Uh he has 34 years of experience in residential and commercial

[4:12] construction. Uh he's developed and overseen several projects from land

[4:16] development to construction. So and he's been a resident here for 24 years.

[4:44] restoration requirements for public utilities performing work in the

[4:48] township right of way. I'll open the hearing and defer to Supervisor Rose.

[4:53] » Yes. The Township Administration recommends an ordinance amendment to

[4:57] establish road restoration responsibilities for public utilities

[5:01] performing work in the township's right of way. The township currently issues

[5:06] road opening permits to public utilities including Pico, Verizon, Comcast, and

[5:12] the municipal authority when these agencies need to repair or replace the

[5:17] infrastructure in township owned rights of way. The work typically requires

[5:22] disturbing the asphalt surface of township roads or the grass areas behind

[5:27] curbs, even when the utilities use directional boring as the primary method

[5:32] of construction. Due to a lack of coordination, particularly from Pico,

[5:39] road opening permit applications are sometimes filed with a short time after

[5:43] the township paves a road. For example, Pico recently filed a permit application

[5:49] to trench ac trench across Middle Holland Road, which was resurfaced last

[5:55] year. In this instance, the township is requiring Pico to resurface the

[6:00] disturbed area from curb to curb and longitudinally loit longitudinally

[6:07] across an entire intersection. The ordinance will require that roads

[6:13] paved within five years of the application for a road opening permit be

[6:18] repaved the entire length and width of the roadway and gives the township the

[6:23] authority to be al to ultimately determine the area to be resurfaced. It

[6:29] also establishes criteria for the restoration for roads where the asphalt

[6:34] is greater than 5 years old. With that, may I make a motion,

[8:02] » Uh could you please uh introduce yourselves and um

[8:06] » good evening. My name is Chelsea Jackman. I'm an attorney with Begley

[8:08] Carlin and Mandio. To my right is the project engineer. This is John

[8:12] Richardson from Dumac Engineering. And seated behind us in the royal blue is

[8:16] Dustin for he's the project manager of the applicant which is 92 Steam Whistle

[8:20] LLC. >> Okay, good. Can we bring it? It's up on

[8:23] the chart there. So basically this is in the uh in the industrial park in

[8:26] Northampton Township. It's an existing structure of 17,968

[8:31] square feet and they'll be adding additional 7,000 square feet to

[8:35] supplement the building. Um, it's a 2acre site. So, it went through the

[8:40] process going through, you know, planning and all the approvals from

[8:43] engineering. So, it's pretty straightforward, but maybe if you could

[8:45] just give us a brief overview of the project and the need for the additional

[8:48] space. >> Sure. So, uh, as you stated, it's a two,

[8:51] uh, acre parcel along the south south side of Steam Whistle Drive. Uh this

[8:56] particular uh business is a uh USbased manufacturer that sources materials and

[9:02] produces its products domestically. Uh and it uh focuses on uh precision

[9:08] machining, engineering, fabrication services primarily supplying hydraulic

[9:12] tools, parts, equipment solutions uh for the power and utility utility line

[9:16] industries. So, this is essentially uh an expansion uh required because they

[9:22] need more storage uh and a little bit of an expansion of parking. They're not

[9:26] looking to have any more uh or any new employees. They uh currently have 56

[9:30] employees over just is it three buildings? Six buildings

[9:34] » over three buildings >> over over three buildings in that

[9:37] particular area. So, again, as you stated, it is pretty straightforward.

[9:41] They're not looking to do much more with the operation, but to have just some u

[9:44] more raw storage uh space for the company to continue to expand by way of

[9:49] product. >> Good. Okay. Well, I'd like to do if I

[9:52] could just read a motion to um proceed with this,

[9:55] » please. >> Sure. So, I'll just read a motion

[9:57] listing some of the conditions that we're requesting. So, I move for the

[10:01] preliminary final approval of 92 Steam Whistle Drive Land Development SLD25-4

[10:08] subject to compliance with the township engineers review letter dated March 26,

[10:12] 2026. Is also recommended the requested waiverss be granted uh and approval

[10:17] subject to the following uh restrictions. I'll I'll read here. The

[10:21] applicant shall enter into a land development agreement and escort

[10:24] agreement in a form acceptable to township solicitor and engineer. Uh this

[10:28] shall include a storm water management, maintenance and operations agreement.

[10:32] That's the first condition. Uh second condition would be a park and

[10:36] recreational impact fee in the amount of $13,845

[10:40] is required. The fee shall be payable per the terms of the land development

[10:43] agreement. That's second condition. Uh third one is that um typically we have a

[10:49] requirement for sidewalks but we're proposing a fee in L of sidewalks. Uh so

[10:53] a fee in Louis sidewalks required in the amount of 16,940 as calculated by the

[10:58] township engineer. This fee shall be payable for the terms of land

[11:02] development agreement. And the last note is the applicant is responsible

[11:05] obtaining any outside approvals that may be necessary including but not limit to

[11:10] D, the conservation district, PENDOT and the municipal authority. Further

[11:15] approval is granted for submission of any documents that may be required as

[11:18] part of the sewage facilities planning. >> The applicants agree to all those

[11:22] conditions. Good. Good. So, I would um very much recommend this proposal. Uh I

[12:38] afternoon. Busy tonight. Um uh Mr. Young has his plans uh on a board if that's

[12:44] okay that he takes just a quick moment to put them up.

[12:52] » Well, so I think we have it up on, you know. So, if I if I could ask you um

[12:56] once again for the record, I just need to have the attorney uh please state

[13:14] » Okay, very good. So, this is a property on 20 Ford Road right in downtown

[13:18] Richboro. It's basically um a 4.89 parcel of land that is near the golf

[13:24] course, Northampton Valley Country Club. Uh the proposal is it's zoned R2 and

[13:30] they're proposing to make it um six single family houses added to it. You

[13:34] can see the plan there. And then the um back of the houses will actually back up

[13:39] to the golf course. And you know, the the plan went through um land

[13:43] development. then it went to um planning everything else and was approved. So

[13:47] maybe you could just give us a brief overview of the project.

[13:50] » Sure. Thank you Mr. Mur. So uh everything you just said is accurate. Uh

[13:53] there are a number of familiar faces here who were present at the planning

[13:56] commission uh who voiced some uh concerns and some uh asked a lot of

[14:01] questions at the planning commission where we received unanim unanimous

[14:04] recommendation for approval. Uh two uh in the back of the room here in the

[14:09] black shirt is Troy Brennan and Chris Levens who uh are the applicants. their

[14:14] businesses uh and uh recently reached out we reached out to the neighbors just

[14:18] to again touch base. We understand that a big component of this project is going

[14:22] to be the tree replantation plan. There are going to be a number of trees

[14:26] cleared. Uh but we have uh had many conversations with the township and

[14:30] continue to do so that we will comply and comport with all that's required as

[14:34] part of that tree replantation plan and we know that that's going to be fed by

[14:38] uh some of the conversations that we have for forthcoming with the neighbors.

[14:42] um and whether that's by way of a fence and trees and uh sort of where they go

[14:47] that that's sort of yet to be determined, but the applicants

[14:50] understand uh that they're going to have to comply with what it is that the

[14:53] township uh dictates uh on that end. Um other than that, um perhaps Larry could

[14:59] give a little bit more the detail on storm water management uh in that area.

[15:03] Um but otherwise you basically stated it it's six lots uh with one open lot for a

[15:08] storm water uh basin uh with the coldest sack. I think we called it a P a P loop.

[15:14] » Um >> Okay.

[15:16] » Yeah. So that's just about it. >> Yeah. So from a storm water management

[15:19] standpoint, I think everything's been organized and in place everything else.

[15:22] I know the trees are very important, especially to the residents here. We

[15:24] want to make sure I went to the site today and checked it out. And I know a

[15:29] lot there's a lot of trees in the property, but I'm, you know, we're going

[15:31] to stay very working very closely with the applicant to make sure that the

[15:35] trees are replaced in a fashion pleasing to the neighborhood and consistent with

[15:39] the application. >> Yes. And also I by way of maintenance

[15:43] and sort of what that property the type of uh neighborhood they're looking an

[15:48] HOA will be formed uh which uh that component will be certainly a part of it

[15:54] uh in terms of maintaining what looks really nice in the township.

[15:58] » And just to add to to her point um the road will also not be dedicated to the

[16:02] township. So that would be part of the HOA as well.

[16:04] » Yes. Okay. Do do we want to think about that not having dedicated I mean that's

[16:08] always been an issue in the past. Um some sometimes it's more advantageous

[16:12] having it dedicated. >> Uh so it's more less issues with snow

[16:15] removal, things like that. >> And and applicants are open to the

[16:18] recommendations of the township and and working with the township on that. Um

[16:21] » certainly a board decision. >> Yeah. I mean I would recommend to this

[16:24] board. We've had other issues where we have developments been built and the

[16:28] road was not dedicated and there's issues with snow removal, things like

[16:31] that. And so >> and if I if I may just uh on that note,

[16:36] Mr. Young just brought to my attention. Go ahead if you if that's okay. above

[16:40] here there's an existing transpe access easement. The trans pipe is back

[16:46] here. >> Oh, for the

[16:49] » they need access. So, we've been talking to Williams Pipe, which is Transco. Um,

[16:56] they are in favor of us abolishing this easement up to this point and using the

[17:02] private well the private road that we're calling it as an access. And then in the

[17:09] culdeac there will be a the press curve that they get back to their their

[17:15] equipment back here. >> Okay.

[17:18] » So a new easement agreement will be created for that.

[17:21] » Yeah. There we're waiting until this is approved and Williams will draft the

[17:26] agreements >> hopefully approved

[17:29] » and and the design of the roads will meet the requirement of being dedicated

[17:33] and having a township take dedication of it. It is a it does meet the current

[17:36] standards for a township road. >> Yeah. I mean, I would just recommend to

[17:40] my fellow board members that we be consistent with that because there's a

[17:42] lot of developments that were built in town. Um the Waverly subdivision, for

[17:46] example, on East Holland Road, that's 15 houses and the residents didn't realize

[17:51] that it was not dedicated and now they're all complaining about snow

[17:54] removal and things like that. So, I think it's a much better result for the

[17:57] residents be honest having a township have take responsibility.

[18:00] » Candly, Mr. more we are also I'm uh also one of the attorneys for that particular

[18:05] developer. So I'm very familiar with what you're talking about and that I I

[18:08] have I take no issue with that and I don't think that our developers do

[18:22] of the 420 Ford Road subdivision SLD25-1 subject to compliance with the township

[18:39] requested waiverss be granted approve approval subject to the following and I

[18:44] read seven conditions of approval. The applicant shall enter into a land

[18:49] development and escro agreement in a form acceptable to the township

[18:52] solicitor and engineer. This shall include a storm water management,

[18:56] maintenance and operations agreement. Condition one. Uh, a fee in lie of

[19:01] recreation open space shall be submitted in the amount of 7,41132

[19:06] for each new lot for the terms of the development agreement.

[19:11] Homeowners association documents should be reviewed by the township solicitor.

[19:16] A fee in lie of sidewalks is required in the amount of 48,486

[19:20] as calculated by the township engineer. The fee shall be payable per the terms

[19:24] of the land development agreement. A tree replacement plan is required

[19:29] which shall be formalized for the terms of the development agreement and as I

[19:33] mentioned the town should be monitoring that very carefully.

[19:36] Disclosure should be recorded for each parcel advising of the abuing country

[19:40] club subject to the review and approval of the township solicitor.

[19:47] And then the applicant is responsible for obtaining any outside approvals that

[19:50] may be necessary including but not limited to D, PENDOT, the conservation

[19:54] district, the health department and the municipal authority. Further approvals

[19:59] granted for submission for any other documents that may be required as part

[20:02] of the sewage facilities um planning process.

[20:12] I realize that sometimes residents don't understand that on agenda items they're

[20:16] to sign up and if they wish to speak, I prefer they do that, but in an abundance

[21:45] development plan permitting 10 ft driveway with Supervisor Moore.

[21:49] » Sure. This is a very minor issue. The land development plan for Russell

[21:52] Gardens was approved at the last board meeting. There is a minor modification

[21:56] made where the the houses will be facing um the street and the garages will be

[22:01] facing the side. So as opposed to looking at the garage be that the garage

[22:05] entrance will be on the side of the house. So as a result of that we want to

[22:08] uh change the requirement for the width of the driveway from 12 ft to 10 ft.

[22:15] » Do I have a motion for that? >> Please. I move for an amendment waiver

[22:19] request from section 22-6612.1C

[22:24] of the Northampton Township subdivision land development ordinance for the

[22:28] Russell Gardens subdivision SLD25-2 to submit a driveway width of 10 ft. All

[23:14] emergency generator. Ours is old and not right in the building location. Um, the

[23:22] township received 11 bids for this project to put the generator in, ranging

[23:28] from a low bid of 241,343

[23:33] to a very high bid at 394,500.

[23:40] Okay. The um the new generator will be located right

[23:45] and right here at the administration building. The three bids that we got

[23:51] were Lana Electric uh for 241,343

[23:57] uh Zen Zenac Electric which would be 259,000

[24:04] and AJM electric incorporated that is 261,832.

[24:13] uh Bowman, our township engineer, is working uh with our electrical engineers

[24:20] and we the bid amount that we decided we're going to go with is 241,343

[24:29] and all the ad the administrative administration agrees with this and uh I

[24:36] can I make a motion, Mr. Chairman, >> please.

[24:38] » Okay. The following motion is appropriate. I move to award a contract

[24:43] for installation of an emergency generator at the township administration

[24:49] building to Lmanana Electric at a bid price of 241,343

[24:57] based on the unit values in the bid specifications and bid proposal and to

[25:03] authorize the township manager to execute all required contract documents

[25:11] » Any comment? >> Yeah, I think it's it's good. Um, our

[25:17] engineers picked the lowest bid and it's substantially lower than the other bids.

[25:29] think it's needed and I think it's very good because I know when we had an

[25:32] outage, uh, this was one place we could go to get some electrical power and so

[25:37] it's it's, you know, it's a real service to the community. So,

[25:48] of our administration trying to get um I've been through some of the

[25:52] emergencies here in the township where we've lost electricity and we've needed

[25:57] heating centers and cooling centers and this is just

[26:03] taking care of the future of our township.

[26:23] » Uh, finally, among new business, we have consideration of bids for 2026 road

[26:28] milling program. Supervisor Rose. >> Yes. The township received eight bids

[26:32] for the 2026 roadway milling program with bid amounts ranging ranging from

[26:39] 217,24200

[26:44] 242.50 to $314,319.

[26:51] Unlike the prior year uh when the application was a tack coat was included

[26:56] as an al alternate bid item, the 2026 bid speculations incorporate the top

[27:03] coat into the base bid, ensuring its inclusion as part of the milling work.

[27:09] The approach is consistent with the township's current needs and facilitates

[27:13] a more straightforward comparison of bids. Um, based on this evaluation,

[27:20] Bowman recommends award of the contract to AH Cornell and Sun Jamison, PA in the

[27:26] amount of $217,242.50.

[27:32] The final contract amount will be based on the actual quantities of work

[27:37] performed in accordance with the unit price submitted in the bid. Um, and our

[28:43] » Yes. public works. Um, our road crew has installed poles for historical markers

[28:51] at Addison and Feaster Van Horn cemeteries. repaired Second

[28:57] Street Pike Lighting, replaced damaged outlets, patched a sinkhole on Twining

[29:01] Ford Road, replaced a failing pipe at 85 858 Sackets Ford Road, repaired the

[29:08] Palinsky pond um airator, continued storm water basin cleanup and mowing,

[29:14] and performed ongoing pothole repairs. In our parks m maintenance, we have

[29:20] transitioned to summer operations, mowing and restrooms. Yay for the

[29:24] restrooms. supported sports and Memorial Day

[29:28] events, planted additional trees, and expanded in-house spraying and

[29:33] fertilizing with newly trained staff. In our facilities, we've started fountain

[29:39] started the fountains at Dam Drowski Park, rebuilt a library picnic table,

[29:44] performed and completed general facility repairs and maintenance, and assisted

[29:49] with the Memorial Day event setup and support. And I say thank you very much,

[29:54] public works. Great job as always. >> All right. Thank you, Supervisor Gasper.

[30:01] » Sure. Okay. Um, I'll talk about since we're talking about Memorial Day, I'll

[30:06] talk about the the Veterans Advisory Commission. Uh, we celebrated Memorial

[30:11] Day at the Dumbroski Park. And I do want to thank uh Chris Kristen Fullerton and

[30:17] everybody at public works and in part in parks and wreck for helping out and

[30:23] making it a great success. It was well very well attended and u standing room

[30:29] only and we had General Kelly and his wife Karen Kelly uh come to we invited

[30:37] them to speak. uh he is a general that served in during Trump's first

[30:44] administration for two years. Uh so he was a very special guy. So his uh

[30:52] unfortunately his wife spoke and she is a gold star mother which means her son

[30:59] was uh killed in action while he was in the military. So, but it was a big

[31:06] success and everyone um loved it even and the rain held off. Uh and also I

[31:13] want to talk about the library. Uh the summer reading program has started

[31:19] and there's a big going to be a big party on Saturday, June 20 from 10:00

[31:25] a.m. till noon time. And there's going to be uh some a coffee truck and and

[31:31] some food trucks there as part of the festivities.

[31:35] Okay. And then Tuesday nights, uh there's a return of the Science Heroes

[31:42] program and the New Jersey Snake Man. I'm not familiar with that, but he's

[31:48] apparently he's a new performer. Um and a magician's going to come, an

[31:54] entertainer. Doug Wander is his name and also on Tuesday's uh Philadelphia hiphop

[32:02] dance company uh called Illst Style and Peace Productions. So they're they're

[32:08] moving and shaking at the library. Uh now I want everyone to to take note the

[32:14] library is changing and getting better every day. Uh please look up their

[32:20] website. It's free library nt for northampton township-org.

[32:37] thing about the memorial event. Uh, I attended it also and uh, it was a it was

[32:42] a great event and I also want to thank the the police and the fire. uh they did

[32:47] a a wonderful job uh protecting us and keeping everything safe and keeping all

[32:52] the traffic moving. Um so both the uh you know Chief LMP and Chief Adam

[32:58] Seltzinger did a great job. Them and their staff did a great job. Um so now

[33:03] for the the fun part for me. U just so you know today is National Senior Health

[33:09] and Fitness Day. Um, so that's, you know, u, sorry I'm a senior, so I I

[33:15] recognize the senior day, but that gets me into the senior center. The senior

[33:19] center is starting the, uh, Bucks County senior games, which are coming to the

[33:23] senior center. They're going to have tour they're going to have competition

[33:26] for Botchi and the pool hall and the pool table. So, uh, that's going to

[33:31] happen on the 3rd and the 5th. I think Botchi is on the third and the pool will

[33:35] be on the fifth and uh hopefully somebody will be able to come and

[33:39] participate. Um or at least you can come and cheer them on. I know I'm going to

[33:43] go there and and watch the pool the pool stuff and the botchi being that I'm

[33:47] Italian. So I I would like to see that also. Um they also have a Spanish class.

[33:52] Uh one of the people that worked there, Lynn, uh is a was a Spanish teacher for

[33:56] years at uh at at a girl school near um out near Holy Ghost. uh and she is

[34:02] teaching Spanish classes. It's excellent class. It's been getting a lot of people

[34:07] coming to to learn Spanish. Um so I I think it's a great thing. Um also uh

[34:14] this Friday we are going to have our membership drive. I call it a drive. It

[34:18] says membership information. So, there's going to be a meeting I think at 9

[34:22] starting at 9:00 in the morning at the senior center and they're going to be

[34:26] giving out a lot of information about the benefits of the senior center, how

[34:29] you can join and I suggest you join before June 1. You'll get a little

[34:35] benefit there if you do that. I'll leave it that. And the senior center has a lot

[34:39] of things going on. Uh we are trying to encourage uh participation with a lot of

[34:44] the uh the merchants in our township here and we try to highlight one every

[34:48] now and then. Um, one we are highlighting right now is Manhattan

[34:52] Bagels. So, um, you never know, you'd come, you may get surprised with some

[34:56] bagels or something. So, uh, please come and join us there. Um, there's also one

[35:01] other event, an evening in Roma. Once again, the Italian theme here. Uh,

[35:05] that's going to happen. Uh, and tickets are on sale right now for an evening in

[35:09] Roma. So, please look at your senior center. Please join, go on the website,

[35:13] and get going. So, um, parks and wreck, this is, uh, the time of the year for

[35:20] parks and wreck. Everything is starting to happen. Um, we have 30 different

[35:25] oneweek specialy camps going on from golf, tennis, basketball, pickle ball, a

[35:30] big one, theater, sewing, robotics, uh, just about everything you can think of.

[35:35] 30 different ones. Um, if you're interested, please sign up. Uh, we had a

[35:40] yard sale last week, last Saturday. Had a yard sale. 67 households participated.

[35:45] It was a great event. You could go get anything you want. And the nice thing

[35:48] about it is you could target. If you were looking for bikes, you could target

[35:52] bikes. If you were looking for something for your house, you could target that.

[35:55] So, you didn't have to go to All 67. You could find it one you like and go get

[35:59] it. Um, it it was a great event. It we've done it since I think this is our

[36:03] second year that we've done this. It it it worked out really good. One of our

[36:07] big events is coming up on June 5th, Friday, June 5th. It's the Sun and Funf

[36:12] Fest at the uh basin here, the Civic Center Basin. It was uh very big last

[36:17] year. It's going to be even bigger and better this year. So, um there's

[36:22] something for everybody there. There's going to be vendors there, food trucks

[36:25] there, there's going to be entertainment. So, once again, please

[36:28] make sure you go and and and enjoy the summer. Hopefully, the weather will hold

[36:33] out, too. I think it's going to be nice on the weather. Um, looking a little bit

[36:37] further ahead on June 11th, we're going to kick off our sight and sounds the,

[36:42] uh, you know, the concert series, uh, seven, I guess seven or eight Thursdays

[36:47] in a row. Every weeks on Thursday, we have a concert, free concert at the blue

[36:52] park, also known as the municipal park. Um, so it's going to start again. U,

[36:59] please go take advantage of it. It's great. Um, I will ask my Council Rock

[37:03] basketball community to take advantage of it. I'm going to try to get my

[37:07] assigner to schedule me every Thursday for that part so I can go right from the

[37:11] basketball and go right to the to the event. It makes it really easy for me.

[37:15] So, um, and one last thing about the country club, I will again ask everybody

[37:21] to please go to Tavern on the 10 if you can and have a nice lunch, dinner, or

[37:25] whatever. It's a great place to go. The golf is uh picking up tremendously. Uh,

[37:30] anybody who wants a great Father's Day special. I wish I I should get a video

[37:34] board here. I need a video. Um, Father's Day shootout on uh, June 20th. Uh,

[37:41] father and son event. Please come. Please join. It's a great event. If you

[37:46] know anybody who wants to join it, please come and do that. That was also a

[37:49] great event. So, um, that's I think about it. And once again, thanks to the,

[37:54] uh, police and the fire company and their staff for what they did at the at

[38:22] that. So, everything's moving along very well. That's all I have.

[38:44] are a lot of men and women who lost their lives in service of this country

[38:48] to protect the freedoms we all take for granted. They deserve more than a day,

[38:54] for cookouts. It's to remember those whose lives were lost. Let's never

[39:38] project occurring in the township uh to enhance their uh electric distribution

[39:43] system. They'll be replacing underground transformers and uh uh pl replacing uh

[39:50] padmount transformers and installing underground cable in the area of West

[39:54] Buttonwood Drive, North Second Street Pike, Creek Road, and Hickory Drive, and

[40:00] Beach Street. Construction's slated to begin June 8th and is estimated uh to be

[40:06] completed by July 29th. Uh residents in the area will be contacted directly by

[40:12] Pico if their property is specifically impacted. Uh just but be aware that

[40:16] there's uh activity in that area from Pico. Um,

[40:59] Road. Uh the the all are welcome to attend. There'll be a ceremony uh to

[41:04] unveil these uh historical markers that were in place that Dr. Rose referenced

[43:30] this board possibly reconsider your denial of two flags placed at the

[43:36] entrance of the Robert H. Demowski Veterans Park. While I'm not a part of

[43:42] the VAC, I will tell you that there have been two I believe one letter that was

[43:48] sent to this board and I believe uh Paula as the liaison came to the meeting

[43:56] and said that this committee unanimously said no to two small flags. Um I'm here

[44:04] this evening to ask for possible reconsideration.

[44:09] Um I know there I'm not sure what exactly the issue is. Um that's my own

[44:15] personal opinion. Um if there is an issue regarding vetting of gold star

[44:22] individuals um I would really encourage you to reach

[44:27] out re reach out to an individual by the name of Rich Scott. So um that's

[44:33] basically all why I'm here this evening. But I think the very least this

[44:38] committee should have received some kind of formal letter stating why and what

[44:47] the issue is. Um you know I came we want to make all these reasons why we

[44:54] can't why can't we why can't we there are 12 names over at that park. All

[45:02] those individuals have been vetted, purely vetted. So that's all I ask

[45:08] tonight is consideration and possible dialogue to see, you know,

[45:16] when people say no, there's always that wiggle room. There's always dialogue and

[45:22] possibly we can come to a consensus. So that's all I have to say. And in

[45:28] closing, I just want to say it takes a community.

[45:34] Monday was absolutely incredible. We had a gold star mother who came up from

[45:39] Virginia who is a well-known speaker. Um she was so touched. She was in tears

[45:47] because of our police, our fire, our EMT,

[45:51] um our community, our parks and wreck liaison were incredible. It was perfect.

[45:58] It was picture perfect. And um I'd like to thank Adam because he shared his

[46:04] bell. So um the bell was that was part of the ceremony. But which

[46:11] was really kind of neat is one of our public works person created the wooden

[46:16] structure. So I just want to say thank you.
