[21:57] there's a three person that basically each uh these families were required to

[22:01] become a provider to be able to support their family, but now they're now being

[22:04] required to service at least three individuals and that's creating a

[22:08] hardship for several families within the county. So I know I'm at least going to

[22:11] be helping to support that. Um in addition additionally

[22:15] » to that Megan before we but we also met last I think it was last week with

[22:20] » with se Senator uh uh Glover Glover >> Senator or Representative Stirr and uh

[22:27] Stender and they also are writing letters also along with us. So we all

[22:32] met together at the same time and we talked about it. So this is something

[22:35] that we all felt was something we needed to do, not only for supporting our

[22:39] county, but for supporting, you know, all the people in in the state that that

[22:44] uh would it would be a hardship to do this. So So be it. Okay, Megan, go

[22:52] SEDCOG, um they are currently going through a five-year plan for community

[22:57] and economic development across their entire region. Um they are asking for

[23:12] uh fill out that survey so that we can make sure that our county is represented

[23:16] well and people here uh in through the study the things that we are looking for

[23:21] for our county. Um lastly um uh there we had a salary board meeting the other

[23:26] week that um you know was a little bit contentious. Um there was we're making

[23:31] some pretty dramatic changes. We've also seen a lot of um recent resignations

[23:36] when we're losing a huge amount of institutional knowledge. Um so I'm we

[23:41] are making uh one more standardization of policy. we're not going to move on it

[23:46] as a board because it's more of a staff policy, but that we're going to require

[23:51] exit interviews for all staff resigning from the county and those be attached to

[23:55] our status sheet so when we approve them, we know what the situations are um

[24:00] with with within the county. We just have more knowledge about it uh and um

[24:05] transparency so that we can be aware of issues in the departments if if there

[24:08] are any issues that we can hopefully address and move forward with. the other

[24:12] I'm trying to push forward a county wage enroll study, a test pilot study, so we

[24:16] can see what work people are doing, how much we're paying comparatively to other

[24:21] places. Just a pilot study so that we can see if it's something we can do more

[24:24] broadly across the county. Um, and thank you very much. That's all I have. If

[24:30] you're adding anything with that pilot study, guys, I also in that pilot study

[24:35] would like the medical benefits and retirement included in that because that

[24:40] makes a big difference in North umberland county compared to other

[24:44] county when we pay almost $40,000 for family insurance for every individual in

[24:49] the county that gets it. That's a big added amount to their regular salary.

[24:55] » Absolutely. And on that note, um there are a number of very good positions

[24:59] available at the county with medical benefits. So please check out our

[25:03] website um for um position potentially available positions if you know someone

[25:07] looking for a role that has stability and benefits.
