[2:12] make a point that years ago we started um using aluminum flatbeds and the

[2:17] service department, this will be the third time around. Um we initially had

[2:22] it installed by uh a contractor. The second chassis that came around, we

[2:26] reinstalled the flatbed on it. We will be doing the same this time around,

[2:31] which probably saves us close to about $10,000 on that. So, um we've been

[2:36] setting up for repurposing certain things and equipment along the way. But

[2:40] this 10-year-old vehicle is one that's, you know, these trucks work pretty hard

[2:44] clearing snow, pulling equipment around. Um, we have a 10-year cycle on our

[2:48] smaller equipment. >> Question.

[2:53] » Sure. So, uh, won't clearly won't be in time

[2:56] for this year, but, um, apparently there's a a plow that some of the

[3:00] municipalities have where when it gets to the driveways, it goes out and clears

[3:04] the drive. So, drive so that you it doesn't because the aprons, especially

[3:08] in the circles, as you know, it's backbreaking. That is the worst part of

[3:13] anyone's shoveling. So, I know that uh few municipalities have them, and I

[3:18] don't know if that's, you know, in the cards for orange, but it'd be pretty

[3:21] cool if it were. We don't. A lot of them they're known as um wing plows in a lot

[3:26] of uh municipalities. I would say more along the lines of townships and stuff

[3:31] like that, but they're dangerous on curb streets. They more used in a burn

[3:35] atmosphere instead of a curb streets and the short narrow areas like the

[3:40] mailboxes. And when you're talking about a culde-sac, there's really no room to

[3:44] push that back. And what now we're um obviously struggling with uh residential

[3:49] snowplow contractors piling up snow at the end of the aprons. Uh again, I think

[3:54] we talked about this before, front loading garages and developments.

[3:58] There's no place to push snow. So they drag it out, they push it at the aprons.

[4:02] And so, um, on that point, I know we have, uh, been having some complaints

[4:06] about, uh, mailbox and we've been out clearing those with, uh, actually using

[4:12] the skidster that was just purchased for the trail removal along with other

[4:16] equipment. So, um, you know, to ease our, uh, to help our residents out and

[4:21] try and clear out as much as we can. >> Well, and I do appreciate those efforts.

[4:26] you know, as I was one of the people that didn't get mail for two days

[4:29] because they he couldn't get close enough and that was that was that. So, I

[4:34] do appreciate that you guys made that effort and you cleaned it up really

[4:37] well. It was a it was a lot. I mean, a lot for you your guys to handle

[6:10] Dodge Charger, which was a repurposed police department that we've had nothing

[6:14] but problems with. um big motors. This is more economical for the building

[6:19] department and you know they don't drive them much um you know just typically

[6:25] here and there for inspection purpose. So it will be repurposed to the building

[12:58] » Yeah, this is a cleanup that when when the village approved Orange Place go

[13:04] into that. >> Oh, excuse me. Can you please

[13:08] » um when the village approved uh the installation of Orange Place um the uh

[13:13] the the design of the roadway had to be changed from the time of the initial

[13:18] dedication um some time ago and then the creation

[13:23] of a u roadway or you know private drive where

[13:29] old Pinerest used to be. What this is doing is cleaning up and and

[13:35] making the legal descriptions for the roadway and the private property the

[13:41] same as has been constructed. Um, this is something that's been on um the

[13:46] engineers uh uh docket for for years and we're finally the problem is you have to

[13:53] get all of the signatures of the private property owners to go along with it and

[13:57] that's been you know the uh Pinerest folks are out then

[14:03] square miles in and square miles out and now Tangers in so we're now squared away

[14:08] with them and this is now ready to proceed. So, it's really just uh um

[14:14] matching up the the legal description with what's actually out there on the

[14:18] road. >> Great. We're going to refer this to

[14:21] planning and zoning and the maybe are next month.

[14:40] amendments and exceptions to clarify the procedures for proposed amendments to

[14:45] the zoning code of Orange Village. This is on for first reading. And again,

[14:50] we're going to send this to planning and zoning.

[14:53] » And this is also a clean up um of getting rid of some language that back

[15:00] when the charter was adopted. Um there were some sections that were repealed by

[15:06] implication. Um this amendment picks up the practice that's mandated by the

[15:13] charter. Um, and it gets rid of the reference to the code section that's

[15:18] been I think 1144. I don't have it in front of me,

[15:22] but 02 or 03 that's been that was repealed by implication of the charter

[15:27] because it provided for a different procedure. This lays out exactly the

[15:31] procedure that changes to the zoning code. Um, and it just synchronizes what

[15:36] our code provides with what the charter requires. So, it's really most, you

[15:41] know, this is what we've been doing for a while and Bob Mclofflin was tired of

[15:46] not having the the chapter of the code section match up with what the charter

[15:50] provides. So, this does that

[17:03] forward to it. Um, second one. Um, Steve, you may have seen this. It's it's

[17:09] come across some of the law, municipal lawyer things, but there is, um, growing

[17:14] dissatisfaction with the data centers around the state of Ohio. And, um, some

[17:20] communities are already putting in place moratoriums on them. And, you know, I

[17:25] know we don't have a ton of open space, but um, there is open space and there

[17:29] are potentials. And I did some uh some basic research. There's already some

[17:34] data centers around us. There's two in Garfield, I think, one in over by Lander

[17:38] Haven. Um and they're becoming drains on on the local communities and their their

[17:43] use of the grid. So, it's just something to be paying attention to. Um I I I

[17:47] don't recall which city it was, but but one community has already put in place a

[17:51] moratorum on any data center. So, it's just something to be aware of. Um and

[17:55] the last thing is I know that there's been some movement on the new Song

[17:58] property. Um, I believe that the matter is already uh somebody is already moving

[18:03] forward with it and so I know some of the neighbors have expressed some

[18:06] interest in what's going on and I believe that there was supposed to be a

[18:10] meeting yesterday that was cancelled for some purposes but I know it'll be

[18:14] rescheduled. So, um, just pay attention because it is coming up. That's it.

[21:32] 2,000 pairs of glasses and hearing aids. Um but they actually need more. So, uh,

[21:37] please, as you're cleaning out your closets when you're stuck inside and

[21:40] have nothing better to do, find those old pairs of glasses and, uh, please

[21:44] give them. And then on June 4th at 6:00 pm, and I am going to, uh, figure out

[21:50] some way to do a sign up. I'll talk with Anna about that, but mark your

[21:53] calendars. June 4th at 6 PM, um, along with, uh, Mr. Foster, Councilman Foster,

[22:01] um, and our wonderful police department. We are having a training for, uh, a

[22:06] safety training, anti- rape, you know, what to do, especially really aimed at

[22:10] like girls who are like seniors in high school and, you know, college age.

[22:24] » Yeah. So, it's it's it's rape prevention and safety. And it's just something that

[22:28] we all, you know, if you're a parent, you've got a girl, you you you want your

[22:31] girls to be safe. We want all of our kids to be safe. Uh so, um just mark

[22:36] your calendars and uh look out for I'll, as I said, I'll talk with Anna about

[22:40] getting some kind of a sign up way for people to sign up because we are limited

[22:44] in spots to about 20 and then um if more people want it, we'll look into having a

[22:50] second time that we offer at a different day. Um, so if your daughter's coming

[22:55] back and she's away at school right now, sign her up. It's a good thing for her

[22:59] to do when she comes back. Um, if she's going, you know, she's a senior in high

[23:03] school, it's a good thing for her to do and you can tell her she'll have just
