[14:22] collectively agreed uh would be a nice

[14:25] donor wall installation. Details are

[14:28] still forthcoming, but the idea is that

[14:30] there's sort of this um uh implied

[14:35] crashing of a wave. sort of the bubbles

[14:37] that um occur when a wave crashes in the

[14:40] ocean to sort of build on the um the

[14:43] wave concept that the entire building

[14:45] has. And they looked at a couple

[14:48] designs, color schemes, and collectively

[14:51] decided this was uh visually appealing.

[14:54] It's basically the south wall on the

[14:56] upper right. You can see a key plan

[14:57] there. Um it's the south wall of the

[15:00] heart of the school. So the second floor

[15:03] uh which gives it plenty of height and

[15:05] width to um I think it's 60 plus feet

[15:09] and 24 feet high. So visually appealing

[15:14] from across the room. That's quite a big

[15:16] space. You can see it directly across

[15:18] from where one enters and exits the

[15:20] auditorium at the at the um top of the

[15:23] community stairs. And what we decided

[15:27] was it sort of gives an out of the root

[15:30] path for people to not walk by it all

[15:33] the time and um potentially damage it.

[15:36] The details were still working out, but

[15:38] it may be like a third dimension that

[15:40] pops out and has a texture that um

[15:44] supports the color. And again, a lot of

[15:46] this and it built [clears throat] from a

[15:48] concept that we looked at together, but

[15:51] a lot of these circles have um colors

[15:53] and textures related to nature. So, uh

[15:56] our hope is to tie it all back to um

[15:59] Ravier and a lot of the history of

[16:02] Ravier and the beach and textures and

[16:04] colors um that exist in your community.

[16:07] And then on the upper piece where you

[16:09] can see sort of a scale laid out in all

[16:11] the different bubble sizes, uh the group

[16:14] spoke about doing I think it was an 8

[16:16] in, a 12 in and 18 inch with names.

[16:19] These were options. So I've highlighted

[16:21] the chosen options. Um but you know sort

[16:25] of a small medium large option to give

[16:28] donors uh some you know choice and they

[16:32] can they also aren't just color but like

[16:34] I said there'll be a texture within the

[16:36] color that um in theory the donor could

[16:39] choose if they decided they really liked

[16:42] a certain texture and um so this was

[16:45] just sort of first go at a design and a

[16:49] color scheme and a pricing scheme that

[16:52] I'll let Dr. Kelly speak to um but if

[16:56] everyone's in agreement, we'll start to

[16:57] figure out how it actually gets

[16:59] installed, what it needs as far as um uh

[17:03] you know, design within it where like

[17:05] these circles may protrude out an inch

[17:07] or so from the from the wall and then

[17:10] the name would be like on a on a surface

[17:13] that's on the outside. So, we're

[17:15] thinking through it. We have some ideas

[17:17] and the actual uh detail and

[17:19] installation would be forthcoming. So,

[17:22] Dr. Kelly, if you want to speak to sort

[17:24] of the sizing and the the cost. Um,

[17:28] » Sure. I think one of one piece that um

[17:32] the team really thought about is

[18:04] open the building. Um these bubbles as

[18:07] part of this piece of art um will all be

[18:11] installed. So the artwork is complete

[18:14] and then over the years somebody could

[18:16] say, "Well, I want to buy a largesiz

[18:19] circle for a loved one or a remembrance

[18:22] or because I'm new to the REIT community

[18:25] and we could take that piece down, have

[18:27] it engraved or whatever the process is

[18:30] that this comes out to be, uh, and then

[18:33] put it back up. So, it's it it felt to

[18:35] us like a good option where you didn't

[18:38] people didn't have to decide before the

[18:40] building is finished whether or not they

[18:42] want to engage. Um, this could be

[18:44] something that could uh feed into the

[18:47] high school. I'm going to forget the

[18:48] name of the account, but Rich Gay will

[18:50] remind us um the account that's set up

[18:54] to pay the ongoing cost of the high

[18:55] school um in the years to come because

[18:58] the debt certainly isn't going to be

[18:59] gone as soon as the building opens. Um,

[19:02] and so that was one of the key reasons

[19:04] that we selected this option over some

[19:06] of the other ones that felt a little

[19:07] more like you have to decide now if

[19:10] you're going to be part of this process.

[19:12] Um, and then, uh, the other thing that

[19:16] I'll point out is the the piece of art

[19:18] itself will have all different size

[19:21] circles, but we tried to pick a few that

[19:24] we thought um,

[19:27] PE might be somewhat affordable to

[19:29] people u, but also represent a

[19:31] significant donation um, to the school.

[19:34] And so that's why we went with the three

[19:36] sizes that Don mentioned that are

[19:38] outlined in red there um with those

[19:40] particular prices.

[19:43] And I I'll ask Susan and Stacy who are

[19:45] both part of the team if if they if

[19:47] there's anything else there that we

[25:19] cost contra contingency or GMP CM

[25:25] very financially stable and we still any

[25:30] earmarked $10,000 which would be for FFN

[25:34] in tech insurance and then $200,000 for

[25:38] miscellaneous costs which would be

[25:40] really to end grid for any transformer

[25:42] and switch cost that comes through and

[25:45] we're still holding $1.5 million for an

[25:49] FF in [snorts] tech overrun if there is

[25:52] one and it's the will of committee that

[25:53] they would like to spend.

[25:58] So, in summary, once again, very

[25:59] financially secure. I don't know if

[26:01] there's any questions. If not, I'm going

[26:03] to go right to the schedule.

[26:10] bottom here. Um, as you can see,

[26:12] substantial completion is 44 days now to

[26:23] improved by 44 days off the GMP schedule

[26:26] substantial completion date of 118 2028.

[26:31] Um, it's not a it's not a we don't have

[26:34] a slide to show but also do want to

[26:36] mention that in the monthly report there

[26:38] was a uh concrete cracks were mentioned.

[26:41] We are tracking three concrete tracks in

[26:44] building E on the foundation walls. Uh

[26:47] the project team through Kigley has been

[26:49] monitoring monitoring these for many

[26:51] weeks now. Uh we've brought in many

[26:53] experts just to make sure there are not

[26:56] too many concerns. Um as you can see we

[26:58] just talked about schedule. Schedule is

[27:00] a like a priority here, but quality is

[27:02] even a greater priority. So we do want

[27:04] to make sure everything is on the up and

[27:06] up and there's not going to be any

[27:08] long-term issues with any of the walls.

[27:10] Um to date all of the consultants have

[27:12] said that there's nothing wrong with the

[27:14] soils underneath the foundation meaning

[27:17] the ground improvements are working as

[27:18] designs and are installed correctly. Uh

[27:22] we're still working through

[27:24] um a fix for the cracks in parallel with

[27:27] just while the consultants weighing in

[27:29] on what took place whether that's an

[27:31] unforeseen or means and methods. If you

[27:34] have any questions please let us know.

[27:36] We did just want to give you a high

[27:37] level overview of this and I know the

[27:39] construction team is on as well so we

[27:41] can field any questions.

[27:49] I just have one quick question. Um says

[27:52] ready for the first day of class would

[27:54] be December 1st 2028 and then move in

[27:56] date would be well the first day of

[27:59] school would be January 2nd. What's

[28:02] going to be happen in the interim of

[28:03] that month? What's going on in the

[28:05] building? Is it just like furniture

[28:07] moving in or?

[28:09] » Yes. So, FF and tech uh move in,

[28:12] teachers moving in um over the winter.

[28:14] So, really just

[28:17] if we can't do even better on the

[28:19] schedule and move in over the summer,

[28:20] then we'll just be really completing

[28:23] punch lists, any commissioning that's

[28:25] outstanding, and really just putting a

[28:26] bow on the school.

[28:37] Okay. Construction update. Darren, did

[28:40] you want to take this one? Sure. Um, so

[28:45] as we covered last month, this is kind

[28:48] of our [clears throat] overall dashboard

[28:51] of the project. Um

[28:54] it's separated into three parts with the

[28:57] financials uh the executive overview and

[29:01] schedule and then uh some quality uh

[29:05] basically technical aspects of the

[29:07] project. Um I'll go back to financials

[29:11] again. As Brian said, [clears throat]

[29:14] the project GMP uh for Conigley and the

[29:19] construction team is 395

[29:22] million and those are hold all those

[29:25] numbers are holding steady as as Brian

[29:29] indicated. Uh it's very uh healthy. the

[29:31] contingencies being protected as you can

[29:34] see down below on uh these uh categories

[29:38] with regards to allowance contingency

[29:40] and and hold statuses. Uh we're in real

[29:43] good shape. Uh I don't have any really

[29:45] anything to add on that front that Brian

[29:48] hadn't already covered. Um

[29:51] the executive [clears throat] overview.

[29:55] Um, again, for those that haven't seen

[29:57] this before, this is just kind of uh

[29:59] outlining specific details of things

[30:02] that we've done throughout the last

[30:04] month. I don't want to belabor that too

[30:07] much because I think that we have a

[30:10] slideshow as we normally do for this,

[30:12] and I'd rather defer to the slideshow to

[30:15] show you our progress over the last uh

[30:19] uh since our last SBC meeting. Uh but

[30:22] for those that haven't seen this, this

[30:24] is a narrative of what has transpired

[30:28] along [clears throat] with what again

[30:29] the schedule milestones correlate to

[30:31] what Brian uh just indicated on the uh

[30:35] onepage schedule summary. So um and then

[30:39] uh again on the right hand side is is uh

[30:43] some technical aspects of tracking in

[30:46] regards to quality. So, uh, submittals

[30:49] where we present, uh, the design team

[30:52] with, uh, all of the components that

[30:55] make up the design scope of the project

[30:58] for their review and approval and where

[31:00] we stand on that process. You know,

[31:03] we're pretty uh, we're still, as Brian

[31:06] indicated, in the early stages at 20

[31:09] percentile. So, we still have a ways to

[31:11] go on that process, but we're making

[31:13] good headway with the design team.

[31:18] Um and then RFIs are simply uh questions

[31:23] that we pose on behalf of our team or

[31:26] the subcontractors

[31:28] to uh get clarification when it comes to

[31:32] uh questions on the design documents. Um

[31:35] and then there's other aspects here.

[31:37] Again, if anyone has any questions on

[31:39] these, please feel free to to ask. Um,

[31:43] but that's kind of the if if I can take

[31:47] over, Brian, unless anybody has any more

[31:49] questions on the dashboard. Um, I could

[31:52] take over and show show the slideshow.

[31:56] Um, so just one moment here while I uh

[32:01] share.

[32:05] site too earlier this week or last week.

[32:28] the current status of the project. Now,

[32:30] I I do want to um toggle over just so

[32:33] you can see the dramatic change for

[32:35] those that maybe haven't been able to

[32:36] drive by the site or been on site. On

[32:40] June 15th, if you can still see my

[32:42] screen, this is what we look like. This

[32:44] is [clears throat] what we uh showed the

[32:46] the the uh team uh the SBC last month.

[32:50] Can you see this? June 15th.

[32:54] » Oh, July 15th, is it?

[32:55] » July 15th. Sorry. July 15th. Yep. and

[32:58] and uh so there's been quite a dramatic

[33:01] change now that we're in uh as of this

[33:04] was as of Monday.

[33:06] Um so again, just to get everybody

[33:09] orientated on the the the project here

[33:13] uh and the school layout. So the large

[33:15] the area in the rear here that I'm

[33:17] toggling around is is the gymnasium. Uh

[33:21] this uh this next area in the foreground

[33:24] is uh what what is going to be the

[33:27] courtyard area between the gymnasium and

[33:30] the actual classroom building. These

[33:34] tall columns you see here are the back

[33:36] side of the uh classroom building over

[33:39] what we call building A and partly

[33:42] building B. Um I'm going to move down

[33:46] here to a little more of the progress.

[33:48] So, uh, as you can see here regarding

[33:52] the f overall foundation progress, uh,

[33:55] again, gymnasium in the back, uh, with

[33:58] the courtyard area. And now you can see

[34:01] the whole frontage of the school is

[34:03] really outlined pretty definitively with

[34:06] all all of our foundation walls across

[34:08] the frontage of the of the school. What

[34:11] we call uh, a buildings A, B, and C. But

[34:14] again, that's one contiguous building.

[34:17] uh we just separate it up for for the

[34:20] sake of um organization and coordination

[34:24] with the subs uh subcontractors. So you

[34:27] will notice that these foundation walls

[34:30] here that you see in the front that is

[34:33] that is the foundation of the garage or

[34:36] I should say the front of the garage.

[34:38] the building itself uh will will uh

[34:43] extend uh four levels above those the

[34:46] top of those walls. So, if you can kind

[34:49] of get a an idea here, if I uh I'll zoom

[34:52] in a little bit, but uh just to get a

[34:55] kind of a sense here, your your building

[34:58] is going to be four four levels higher

[35:01] than the top of these walls. What's what

[35:04] you're seeing in here is are the is the

[35:06] garage sub uh level of uh the first

[35:09] floor. Um so let me get back to regular

[35:15] view here real quick. Um also you can

[35:18] see that we're starting to uh backfill

[35:22] and define what will eventually be the

[35:25] uh main uh entrance for uh delivery drop

[35:31] offs, buses, etc. here in the [snorts]

[35:33] front of the school. This opening right

[35:35] here, which eventually uh will be uh

[35:39] completed with uh foundation walls is uh

[35:43] that will be uh a a main entrance to the

[35:46] school and the cafeteria is is right

[35:50] behind that where this uh large crane is

[35:53] kind of sitting here. Um I'm going to

[35:56] move a little bit further down. You're

[35:58] going to see now, this is uh just some

[36:00] action shots of the gymnasium being uh

[36:03] built, swinging some uh large trusses

[36:07] over the over the top to finish off uh

[36:10] the top of the gymnasium. This was back

[36:13] uh about uh 2 and 1/2 weeks ago.

[36:17] Um so as [clears throat] I'm going to

[36:20] start with a little bit of a time frame

[36:21] here, timeline structural structural

[36:24] steel start. Uh so this was this was on

[36:29] July 27th. Uh again this is the

[36:31] beginning of the erection of the

[36:33] gymnasium which we would say this is

[36:37] about uh let's see 5 days into uh the

[36:43] process of uh erecting uh the suit the

[36:46] structure. Um we'll move on to a little

[36:50] bit further on. Now we're talking about

[36:52] August 10th and the the gym is you know

[36:56] up in place. Um well and as you can see

[37:00] a better a nicer shot of the of of the

[37:04] the foundation walls uh where eventually

[37:07] the auditorium is to the right of the

[37:10] gym. That's where the auditorium and

[37:11] some of the back of house utilities are.

[37:14] And then in the foreground in this area

[37:16] again just to get perspective this would

[37:18] be the cafeteria.

[37:20] Um, [clears throat]

[37:21] and then this area where the crane is

[37:23] sitting is in the garage of above that

[37:27] area and you're going to see in a second

[37:29] is is uh what will be the um courtyard

[37:33] area. If you move, we move down to the

[37:36] next now uh the next week, courtyard

[37:39] steel has been delivered and it's been

[37:41] uh put up and we've defined the backside

[37:44] of what we call building A um with those

[37:48] large columns. Um and that was on August

[37:52] 17th. And then uh as of uh the 24th,

[37:58] this was kind of what you're seeing,

[37:59] which is consistent with what we were

[38:02] talking about on Monday.

[38:04] uh the other beauty shot from the very

[38:06] first pick. Um as you can see we've

[38:10] started the construction of building E

[38:14] which is what we call the auditorium

[38:17] building. So that that is underway. Um

[38:21] and then we're going to move from there

[38:23] over to what we call building D which is

[38:26] the cafeteria building. We also have the

[38:30] the uh that we're going to start

[38:32] erection of building A which is the

[38:35] front the the first third of the

[38:38] classroom building and that that steel

[38:41] is uh in route to be delivered within

[38:43] the next week and a half to two weeks.

[38:48] » Um some other uh aspects uh to note

[38:53] here, you know, uh just to kind of give

[38:55] a perspective here, some entrances to

[38:57] the garage on the what I guess we would

[39:00] call the um west side of the building.

[39:04] Um so you've got an entrance over here

[39:06] and then another entrance on the uh

[39:09] southwestern side of of the building or

[39:14] south. [laughter]

[39:16] There's been conjunction on the

[39:17] orientation of this building because it

[39:19] doesn't sit uh you know northsoutheast

[39:22] west. It's kind of caddyy corner to the

[39:24] directional but um and then just some

[39:28] some other work that's going on along uh

[39:30] the eastern county ditch area there and

[39:33] uh and what we're doing here with uh m

[39:37] that will eventually maintain water uh

[39:40] rainoff and so rainwater flow and so

[39:43] forth. Um, so that that constitutes

[39:48] our little slideshow for uh this month.

[39:56] to everyone who set up the on-site field

[39:58] trip last week. Um, even though we had

[40:01] to wear hard hats and it was 90 degrees

[40:13] extremely great to have that opportunity

[40:17] to see the start of a promise that we

[40:20] have made to our students in the city of

[40:23] Rivier. So thank you for all the hard

[41:22] advance, and we will, um, think of a fun

[41:26] activity like inviting the community to

[41:28] come and sign the beam before it goes up

[41:31] and, um, and things like that. So, stay

[41:34] tuned um, for that coming. And um one

[41:39] other thing I wanted to add just while

[41:41] we are here talking about this uh I had

[41:43] asked this question of the team today at

[41:46] our um OAC meeting uh about you know

[41:50] there's been so much in the news lately

[41:51] about the tariffs uh with Canada and

[41:54] since all of our is coming from Canada

[41:58] um I was thinking you know is that going

[42:00] to be a problem for us especially

[42:01] budget-wise and um Darren and Brian and

[42:04] the rest of the team were great to

[42:06] remind me that we had anticipated there

[42:09] would be tariff problems when we were

[42:10] building out the budget. And so, um, we

[42:13] do have we do have an appropriate budget

[42:17] to support the tariffs that we're now

[42:19] hearing about right now, just in case

[42:21] folks in the community are asking our

[42:23] elected officials or others about that.

[42:26] Um, we did budget for it. We're still

[42:28] hopeful that um things will work out and

[42:30] we won't need to use all of that tariff

[42:33] money or perhaps there'll be some

[42:35] rebates from some things that were

[42:37] overturned recently in uh in the US

[42:41] around charging tariffs. Uh if if that

[42:44] happens, if money comes back, it will

[42:46] come back to the project and back to the

[42:48] city. So, um I just want to make sure

[42:51] everybody's aware that we are focused,

[42:53] we are paying attention to these things.

[43:06] Just jumping back to our agenda. Uh,

[43:10] next item that we usually cover is if

[43:13] there's any public comment, name and

[43:16] address for the record. Scanning through
