[0:00] Thank you everyone, thank you for coming.
[0:07] I pledge allegiance to the five of the United States of America.
[0:28] The first order of business this evening is action on the next.
[0:32] We'll see the action of what this is to take for us around in two or two minutes for the meeting.
[0:36] and it's time for 50.
[0:39] First mission, mission, group.
[0:41] Please listen to the question.
[0:44] Just in the discussion.
[0:48] Seeing none, all of you as a favor of approval of the minutes,
[0:50] in the meeting, how does it have their 50th or 25.
[0:58] It's like that's a bit.
[0:59] It's unanimous, please do it.
[1:05] And the undeously citizen comments,
[1:07] with anyone hearing from the public,
[1:08] though, she speaks to you, please.
[1:12] Hello, my name is Mosque Borske, and I'm your husband, a bride-in-law.
[1:15] Hello, my name is Ho-P, and I'm a husband and a husband and a husband.
[1:19] Hello, my name is Adi Musher, and I'm a resident of Greenwood.
[1:22] We are eight groups and we are a part of the Public Relations class.
[1:26] We are very excited to talk about what we do as a PR class and a salesman learned within the class.
[1:32] Public Relations class is a U.S. eight-year-old pick for a class stick all year long.
[1:37] In PR, we have 14 students that decided to join us here.
[1:41] Mayor of the Point, who is part of our class, said she joined PR,
[1:45] but if she wanted to seek opportunities to make decisions and write a simple list.
[1:50] The job of PR class is to run the assembly that we have once a month.
[1:54] We do firm challenges that we call grant battles that get students involved
[1:59] in a very strong word that students can receive as a positive recognition.
[2:03] The mission of the team is to give our classes to make good things happen, that belongs to
[2:08] the environment.
[2:10] We will motivate and empower students to pause and put your parents to our school by recognizing
[2:15] students' strengths, organize important activities, and share information at school and with our community.
[2:21] We hope to encourage students who work together as a wrapped group and build relationships with each other.
[2:27] So far we have done a quadrat battle during our first assembly.
[2:30] We also did more announcements of each rock group the day, and now this includes a bunch of questions and points to show there's rebel crime, everybody.
[2:39] Then it ended up in joy and PR because he was looking more to being a morning officer and being involved in assemblies.
[2:45] Part of our mission is a shared information with our community, and that's how we're getting tonight.
[2:50] We also plan to submit articles to the faculty and we will be running this all of a sudden ways throughout the year, and it's clear how to
[2:59] heading all the sub fundraisers to support all the good things that have been at CMS.
[3:05] It's important to note that our public relations class is not just a required class,
[3:09] but it's not appropriate.
[3:11] Each student chose to take this class.
[3:14] So FRA said she joined PR because she wanted to have more opportunities to help the school.
[3:19] Some of these skills that we learned is to get comfortable with public, public speaking,
[3:25] and writing from a poor variety of purposes.
[3:28] We'll use technology to learn about designing fires at a day videos and creating slideshow.
[3:35] We all have our own strengths and weaknesses,
[3:38] but we hope to learn from each other strengths to improve our weaknesses.
[3:42] The art class is an opportunity to be a positive leap at dance.
[3:47] When Lily Lewis was sick,
[3:49] she wasn't sick since 7th grade.
[3:51] She looked back to the kids that weren't peop.
[3:53] Now Lily gets to be the person that others adopted.
[3:55] We want to thank the Board for providing their time, their citizen comments for us to share
[4:01] their team of citizens.
[4:03] We look forward to keeping you updated with all the good things that we are going to promise
[4:07] us there.
[4:17] Mr. Amy, how's it going to be?
[4:20] Hello.
[4:22] Hello.
[4:23] Hello.
[4:25] Hello.
[4:26] Nice job, girls.
[4:27] I should have been in public relations fund.
[4:31] So my name is Rebecca and how cool it is and I am a lifelong resident of Bethel and I am
[4:38] here tonight from Jenny Smith. She is not a Bethel resident.
[4:45] We're here on behalf of boosters because we needed to tell us to all support boosters
[4:50] to just stuff some things that we wanted to branch the school board to get approval
[4:54] for. We are not asking for anybody. Okay, say in that right now, not asking for anybody.
[5:00] But we do need permission. We have a couple projects in the works. One being we want to get dugouts on the boys baseball fields at
[5:14] parts because if anyone has ever watched baseball games there, they don't have
[5:19] dugouts and it's kind of, you know, it's a safety issue. So that's a project
[5:27] that we're working on right now that we want to and we have businesses that are
[5:33] looking at donating their time. We have savage construction or land development
[5:42] and who would be doing the land prep for the dugouts.
[5:46] And then they have data's concrete,
[5:48] who would be donating the concrete for that.
[5:52] And then boosters would be, we haven't found a person yet,
[5:57] but that would actually be doing the remaining construction
[5:59] of the dugouts.
[6:01] And they would be 18 feet by 20 feet, a standard dugout size.
[6:08] So we have that one that we are looking at doing.
[6:11] And then also, we want to look at expanding the snapshot on the football field, and anyone has ever worked in the snapshot of the game.
[6:20] No, it needs to be bigger, because it is really small in there.
[6:25] We also share that space with Telstar Youth Football, so storage issue.
[6:32] It's really, really looking at, just expanding it out six feet, which, again, boosters would be paying for.
[6:40] we actually have already have Hancock Bomber that is looking at donating materials for it and
[6:46] then we might have someone else that's going to do some materials and the person that would
[6:52] be working doing the work but also potentially be donating it but it's not then we would be paying
[6:59] for it but we are just looking at getting those okay or be starting for the agenda so hopefully
[7:07] maybe by springtime, and I have dug out, and I have dug out, and I have dug out, and I have
[7:15] never had any questions,
[7:20] everything sounds easy, it's just no problem, but this has been
[7:24] all my gender for like, I don't know, it was the past year, so we're here now just to try.
[7:30] We're trying to get it going. So we're just trying to make sure we prove everything that we can, as far as related to sports.
[7:38] No, no, no questions? Oh, I was easy.
[7:39] We're going to be responsible.
[7:41] Good stuff.
[7:41] We're going to be responsible.
[7:43] Thank you. That was my job.
[7:45] Thank you.
[7:46] I think we need to view federal legislation so we can have to process it.
[7:50] So we don't have a line.
[7:52] Yeah.
[7:52] People seek to catch up on the price.
[7:55] you may be.
[7:55] Bye.
[7:56] We are the only ones working on that.
[7:56] I'll be with you in November.
[8:00] Thank you.
[8:01] Thank you.
[8:03] Thank you.
[8:04] Thank you
[8:10] very much.
[8:11] Brad, I am current.
[8:13] I'm a great member of my children.
[8:15] Two of them have gone right through the works
[8:17] through President Carter just a person
[8:20] who should be decided to do.
[8:24] So four things are going great.
[8:26] They feel talk about this year.
[8:28] really loved it and they're looking forward to that.
[8:30] You follow them and possibly saw a phone screen.
[8:34] There are some other activities that occur in the middle
[8:38] school that we're hoping to get our girls and any other
[8:43] homeschoolers are around to conclude it on.
[8:48] Just start here.
[8:50] So, homeschooling is a growing educational choice and name.
[8:53] And then family seek the hybrid approach, one that allows their children
[8:56] to receive a personalized education at home,
[8:59] also participating in the public schools.
[9:01] It offers collaboration benefits not only for school
[9:03] but also the school community as a board.
[9:06] Like fostering diversity, increasing participation,
[9:09] and building this community ties.
[9:12] Meanwhile supports this partnership.
[9:14] Under Title 28, 521A,
[9:16] schools students are a legislative public schools,
[9:18] co-curricular, extracurricular,
[9:20] and even some academic programs.
[9:22] This law ensures equal access
[9:24] without overperposing the schools. Since many of these programs already is, and existing infrastructure
[9:29] and funding is already in place. Including home schoolers, it strengthens our educational
[9:34] ecosystem, it supports parental choice, it meets children's social and developmental needs,
[9:39] and it demonstrates that our school district values inclusion and flexibility in education.
[9:45] Let's continue the built system that works for all main children, whether they're educated at home
[9:49] or in the classroom, and I urge you to uphold the support the policy that embrace
[9:53] school inclusion. Thank you for your time. Thank you for your time.
[9:57] Thank you. Thank you.
[10:00] Is there anything else you have to do?
[10:03] We'll just do
[10:07] anything else important on the conference.
[10:09] It's very important for a second to share the season.
[10:12] That's great.
[10:14] All right. So, um, Saturday.
[10:17] All right.
[10:17] We met some delegates assembly.
[10:19] We met um, on the 18th from 8 30 in the morning.
[10:23] Let's walk 30 in the afternoon.
[10:25] During that time, um, all the elections are going to
[10:28] We start with all the elections took place and all nominations that you guys would have received in your e-mails from MSNA.
[10:37] We're elected as president.
[10:39] We are a region six, so that means our person that's representing us is now rich ruin.
[10:47] Okay, so I wanted to know.
[10:49] After that, they went through the resolutions.
[10:52] All of them except for one word off the desk presented.
[10:54] We did entertain many, many, many, many, and minutes.
[10:59] However, none of them received the two-thirds vote they needed to pass.
[11:03] So, all resolutions went through, like I said, as they were sent and presented to everyone,
[11:09] except for one.
[11:11] I should have noted better, which specific one it was,
[11:14] however, they planned to read presents in next year.
[11:19] After that, they went through the by-law and constitution amendment changes
[11:22] and everything, again, is a doctor that I was present in.
[11:26] It was a long meeting, but it went through suddenly and basically everything
[11:33] they were looking to change happened.
[11:36] So, I think that's me, and people, but not the time to, like, be a kind of...
[11:42] Maybe the word of this, I think there are two things, one, just sort of the fact that
[11:46] you have students who come in a lot of different ways, you guys think this class, I mean,
[11:50] I would like to share a little perspective.
[11:51] How do you do perspective on the board of the CBO board?
[11:54] Thank you for coming.
[11:56] I know today is probably going to be a lot of CFA model,
[12:00] but I have students who is a freshman this year,
[12:04] so I just wanted to report out on the Boogray code trip.
[12:07] So it was their first overnight.
[12:09] They went over to the U-Main 4H campus on the coast.
[12:13] And they didn't even write there.
[12:15] And when they had great weather, great time.
[12:17] A lot of the kids have never been down before with this.
[12:20] They had to go still trails, they explored illegal systems,
[12:24] and tide pools, caught and measured,
[12:26] and they made some species of crap over here in the crowd.
[12:30] Then my kid used, like, probably sliding away,
[12:34] and asked how it was going to go.
[12:35] So, you could probably do that.
[12:38] If
[12:42] you could just let me in.
[12:44] I mean, other four numbers are victims in here?
[12:49] Well, I just have a question from Mark.
[12:51] What's the status of the GT program here?
[12:55] So, we will finally hire a tutor, and she is working now with people and administrators to go through the screen process, to my hand.
[13:05] The student population of the schedule also works with Mrs. Fickley a lot in retirement, who can go out and she has to do the code hatching.
[13:14] So, for opening, we could shoot at the underway.
[13:17] So, we have to be hungry. They back now have something else to set them, so now we're shooting them.
[13:22] Because do I involve English in that?
[13:27] I think all of the time, it did get in the schools
[13:30] or discrimination, at least all of the type of GTA.
[13:33] So, the social screening is from test wars.
[13:37] So, I got a set of scores and I'm going to go through a co-gap,
[13:40] testing, or additional screening layer
[13:42] to get all the data from there.
[13:45] They go through and do the qualifies.
[13:47] And all they will is offer to keep the qualifications
[13:49] and the families have to accept tomorrow.
[14:33] Moving on to chairman's report, I get another fun Korean, I'm going to say I'm going to say
[14:38] that I'll be doing this right, so if anybody wants to join in carpool, I'd love to
[14:43] come up with you, that's the last Thursday, Stephanie and I have my little red, I tell
[14:49] us that fresh from the hand me and took part in the whole group relays, which was in the
[14:53] correct book series.
[14:55] It was really neat to witness that learning environment, but also to be a part of that, we
[14:58] to the kids.
[15:00] For test, building civil machines and has supplies list and trial and have our parent and execution, and it is a lot of ongoing distancing that program action. The kids are really enjoying it.
[15:14] Yes, all right, let's do it.
[15:17] We're hoping to make that kind of a little bit of a pair of that.
[15:21] We're going to go forward because we're trying to get families down there and actually see what I'm hearing.
[15:25] You can hear about it all you want, but it's easy to get down there and watch it.
[15:28] It didn't happen. It'd be only a half of it.
[15:31] So we're thinking, and so we kind of went down in the test.
[15:36] It seems like a perfect day.
[15:37] I mean, it's super fun, because we're super engaged in the pilots.
[15:41] and for a result of being humble, being humble, being humble.
[15:49] Yeah, so I think courage, you know, anyone, staff,
[15:52] board numbers, community members, to get down to TFA,
[15:54] to reach out to myself, Mark, the teachers there,
[15:57] they're happy, they're welcome, they want people
[15:59] done their seat, what's going on, and so at least they don't.
[16:03] And I have two girls that attend this TOSI high school
[16:06] and play sports, I was able to, if some of that homecoming energy
[16:10] arts hands. It was really exciting to see all the sports games and action and the operations
[16:15] for the craft to be advanced. I'll be creative to be just this really nice that seeing
[16:20] the zip phone, the student body and staff. You can't be offered to that or to celebrate.
[16:27] And when we just can't have a lot to do with that, we must just start to include the
[16:31] and the report, and we'll be talking about how many of you are in the world in the next.
[16:37] We are next.
[16:38] Let's see if we can afford you to be one day's November 17th.
[16:41] That's 6.30 p.m. here in the House of Library.
[16:44] The Education Committee will need 30 say.
[16:47] November 13th at 3 p.m. and we'll always say,
[16:49] thank you, Conference Room.
[16:51] The Saudis who personnel for me before the board meeting.
[16:55] On Monday, November 17th at 5.15 p.m.
[16:58] on the 0.31 year at 12th.
[17:01] Finance negotiations can be only Tuesday, November 18th,
[17:05] at the 30th of central office.
[17:08] Policy committee will be Monday, November 30th,
[17:10] at 10 am in on the zone 1, 31 year at 12th.
[17:14] In the region, our incorporated board will be in November 5th,
[17:17] at 6 pm at the region on its global technology
[17:20] and its development.
[17:24] On the community reports, we're reporting for the education committee.
[17:30] So the education fee took a field trip down to TFA last Thursday, last Thursday, and it was also it was really exciting to see that program, you know, I think we talked about it all night long, if we want to do, but the takeaway that I've got from it was that just not happy that it's worth, which was really nice to see everybody who was in a good mood, the teachers were in a good mood.
[17:58] it was informal in all the right ways, you know, it wasn't, it was just really good, and
[18:04] all of the can seem not bothers to be there, which was, you know, exciting, I think there's
[18:12] some really exciting things happening down there, and I think it's exciting to see, you know,
[18:17] different ways that you've got, I think the parent has, is also in different ways, thinking
[18:22] creatively on how we can share that information out to the community in different ways.
[18:28] to, you know, work to try to change the narrative a little bit on that program because there's some really good things happening down there.
[18:36] Both academically and, you know, all the other things.
[18:39] That was right.
[18:41] You just have to...
[18:43] I'm just sort of using a person out.
[18:45] Just a panel.
[18:46] Yep.
[18:46] We just met before this board meeting here.
[18:49] We went over some job descriptions, we're kind of taking a whole chunk of time to review and update and change anything that we might see in there.
[18:58] We did have a presentation from C-Men's to go over some energy,
[19:03] um, future planning, so essentially the lighting, we are already in the way, but building
[19:09] envelope all the fibroblaster and Telstar is a huge piece of it, um, we're building heating
[19:14] cooling systems, each fax, things like that, they did a long few last year, um, they kind
[19:19] of just present to us with our general numbers of how much we spend and where we sit as
[19:24] is a national average for how much energy we use, which we are well above the national average,
[19:29] which we kind of do, just with aging systems and infrastructure.
[19:33] So looking at that, I'm trying to come up with a short term, the term, a long-term plan,
[19:40] and seeing what else we can do for the facilities.
[19:42] And then we also briefly talked about the lighting project, which is still happening,
[19:48] but they're really going on their current projects, so they're coming.
[19:51] Get a tight time for your checkup.
[19:54] Cut it by.
[19:55] No, I'm going to point the policy, please.
[19:58] I'm sorry.
[20:00] I'm sorry.
[20:00] sorry.
[20:00] I need some positions for the meeting, and you 3 are.
[20:03] Sorry, yeah.
[20:04] Hello.
[20:05] Sorry to keep that as you got an update on the current year's capital project's
[20:09] how they're progressing and how they're trafficking to budget.
[20:13] I gave us enough the right source and how that partnership is working
[20:17] this year.
[20:18] It's just very well, and then we got an update on some links that he's
[20:22] And we'll see you in a couple of weeks.
[20:24] I think we've got some projects left.
[20:27] Thank you.
[20:27] Thank you.
[20:28] My partner.
[20:30] I'm a policy committee met.
[20:33] It's always fun to report out of the policy committee.
[20:35] We can do it about to say everything in the general.
[20:38] So we did rework the mission statement as much as we could.
[20:43] If you go to the very, very ends, just the book.
[20:46] It's the new one.
[20:47] Just say about which we can use.
[20:49] time, we'll do that after. And then, so that will be a first reading, the 22nd
[20:54] readings were just tweaks, minor revisions for last time, from our fall morning. And we
[21:00] did start talking about a new one, but we kind of table bit due to possibility,
[21:05] yet obtained more information that we needed to look forward.
[21:09] Thank you, Simon. Chair, I'm forwarding tonight, Mr. Barn.
[21:12] Unfortunately, I had nothing new.
[21:15] What? How did it think?
[21:16] Most of the nannies are in executive session and plans and strategies and two buildings are still not open.
[21:28] On the late 100,000, all is at least to be spent by the 7th anniversary.
[21:33] And equipment for those buildings.
[21:35] Oh, yeah.
[21:36] Oh, yeah.
[21:38] There were loads of it.
[21:41] We did direct to the ship.
[21:42] We did.
[21:43] So there you go.
[21:45] The production.
[21:45] If you will.
[21:46] We'll have to take it.
[21:46] and for the success of the day.
[21:49] Let me go to the hospital.
[21:51] And watch that money.
[21:52] Let's go to the hospital.
[21:55] Go to the hospital.
[21:56] Just ask anybody to be fired?
[21:58] No, no.
[22:02] No, no.
[22:04] No, no.
[22:06] No, no.
[22:06] No, no.
[22:06] No, no.
[22:06] Now we're now trying to over-miss your candy.
[22:07] So the superintendent's report.
[22:09] You're going to find a solution.
[22:11] So pretty.
[22:12] So you go to the hospital.
[22:14] So the hospital is in the store.
[22:15] We have a couple of scheduled appointments, checking into the next sports season, or anything
[22:19] about that.
[22:21] Head boys basketball have come to a table to honor.
[22:24] The middle school has girls that have come to pay very, and the system does not have
[22:27] to coach and a credit.
[22:29] I did put up.
[23:00] In New York City, Chris and Powell. As they are mentioned, the MSMA conference coming up. I'll be in a guess on Wednesday for the Superintendent's portion and Thursday for the first part of the MSMA conference.
[23:13] That's in the last few days on Thursday. Last week, it was a visit to the lead, but try to get as much of a positive stamp here on this possible or send out the famous public schools video to the board.
[23:28] and we'll be able to post it now.
[23:31] They are focused on features on TFA.
[23:33] They're doing four videos around the safest year,
[23:36] and the features of TFA is a highlight.
[23:38] They can be my Spring Doll of Filming.
[23:41] And we've been able to do Johns worked with the Gem Theater
[23:44] and we're going to be able to build public viewing
[23:46] and showing on November 10th.
[23:48] As high school parent teacher, I was in that night,
[23:50] but at 630, the Gem is in open up to the public,
[23:53] and someone from that filming operation
[23:56] going to be there in person as well. There's also different viewing lines on, same time for other things.
[24:02] So it's open to the public to come to the general part of a big screen. The video is a little
[24:07] over 12 minutes long, but it really does highlight. I don't know what's saying a lot of the good about
[24:12] CTA. Look at that, Yadli. And just a whole idea of what it is and the reality of the few the kids
[24:19] I said, I believe it goes to the kids' perspective.
[24:24] So it's pretty hard to eat.
[24:27] It's nice to have it.
[24:27] I think it's a great highlight piece.
[24:29] Did you like it?
[24:29] Yeah, that's probably what we're going for.
[24:32] You're going to watch it.
[24:34] It's interesting.
[24:35] It's interesting.
[24:36] She does, okay.
[24:39] That's it.
[24:39] That's it.
[24:40] Yes.
[24:42] My granddaughter is one of the kids in a few in the video.
[24:44] I didn't know what the teacher that she was going to get.
[24:51] She was not, or is not a typical CFA child. She is not an elderly person at all and she went
[24:59] in and raised the challenge, she knew she didn't have a choice but she learned a lot and
[25:06] she actually can look back and see how much her class, who has an interesting reputation
[25:11] community years, how much they actually grew matured and they came to get a much closer
[25:16] through the program because of the project because of the trips, because of the experiences,
[25:22] and how close they became with the teachers. That was a big surprise for her, how much they bonded
[25:27] as a group, and so it is, it's real, and she did a new trip, she did a new trip, she did a
[25:34] clip of canoe, and how she did a new trip up on Richardson, with all the bug bites and some
[25:42] She never wants to do it again, but she can't do it.
[25:45] And that is the biggest thing that we talked about as a family that the importance of the
[25:50] challenges that are presented and persevering through it and doing these other comfort zone.
[25:55] It's a big part of that program for that.
[25:57] So it's very cool.
[25:59] The other big news piece, and Rose is here from a paper and helping with the PR piece of this
[26:03] and I shared with you as well, but the high school was ranked as number five in the state of
[26:09] for high schools by U.S. News on World Report. It's a really big deal. It's a really big deal.
[26:16] And for those of you that are around long enough, you think back 12, 15 years ago,
[26:21] when the state came out with the English report cards, and this high school is right
[26:26] for the F rating, to go and that amount of time to now being ranked number five in the
[26:31] state of Maine is a huge accolade to the staff and students. And not just the high school
[26:36] everyone being up to and it was a whole district takes part of that.
[26:40] But it's a big accomplishment.
[26:43] The U.S. News is a world record.
[26:45] The U.S. just stayed database every year.
[26:47] And they pull their data points that they want.
[26:50] They're algorithm and they want with their machines.
[26:53] It was not anything we were aware of until after they came out.
[26:56] And so we're in celebration phase at this point.
[26:59] And trying to get the word out.
[27:00] And really hiring that data for a huge, a huge deal.
[27:04] and to see the schools that they're up in the top five width,
[27:07] and all the schools that they are head of in the top 30.
[27:10] It gives a lot for this community,
[27:12] and for the school district, you're the kind of such pretty special.
[27:18] Last week was high school fun coming week.
[27:21] We had an amazing weather.
[27:22] Kid Chris faded.
[27:24] Saturday was a comment to be feel lucky to take off on Friday night with their home community.
[27:28] Saturday saw both boys and girls soccer and football all of their games.
[27:32] I think it's Saturday night, lots of events going on, lots of people on the outside, and it's
[27:39] A big thank you to the community for a little special sports in general, this fall participation
[27:44] and showing up to watch the kids has been actually amazing.
[27:48] The health side is for every single game, and the kids feel it, they notice that it's
[27:53] pretty special to it, and they also get to see the views and we've had an amazing weather
[27:57] which hasn't hurt, but I know the kids have been taking perspective to stop when they're
[28:02] other, and the nice and austerity thing would be a lot to keep coming to watch the soccer
[28:06] teams.
[28:06] They don't want to watch the public.
[28:07] They all support each other, but it doesn't actually realize it's surrounding where
[28:11] we are.
[28:12] I'm going to go on the hill and the fields to look and see the mountains, just the setting
[28:18] up again.
[28:20] They actually take a moment to actually appreciate it, and so it's one of the things they
[28:24] think is so much that you don't actually stop and look at what's around them.
[28:27] So it was pretty special to see all of that right now we're going into the Paul playoffs,
[28:36] the Paul team is going in the second place and one more we're going to season being left.
[28:41] Paul high school soccer team with Paul five of the playoffs. Paul middle school soccer teams are
[28:45] in conference championship tomorrow against the eastern part of the conference at one of the western
[28:51] division. High school team allowed me saw the biggest team in over 10 years,
[28:55] program play, a lot of fashion. There were 17 craftsmen of Austria and 99 of fashion,
[29:02] so there were some sort of resurgence of field hockey as well as on the programs which
[29:05] is great to see and those who feel hockey is also growing. So, it's a big testament
[29:11] to our coaches, for example, for example, for kids who are willing to get out and be involved
[29:16] and participate. It's really nice to see. It's a great way to keep up this
[29:21] year, lots of participation and lots of school pride, so those are all positive things happening
[29:28] now.
[29:28] We want to seek hearing to the winter and see what success is coming up through the lands
[29:33] every year and not just in isolation, so lots of driving rights, lots of things report
[29:39] on.
[29:40] And now we can do the pink team.
[29:41] We're quite stupid.
[29:48] We met a few weeks ago, we went over our budget for the year, and it's set.
[30:00] We have about 17,000. That is the set. So, we'll vote on that next meeting. So, that's what I'm going to do with school.
[30:11] There are a need of a vice president. First of all, doing the bottle redemption of the greenwood stocked down. Always looking for help with that, which is just basically tying up the bags and the little sheds and putting them into the big shed. That's all that we need help with.
[30:27] So if you're at the dump, then you just see the bags are full and the dump, you're all going to do this time up and throw them in the big tub, very much for each of them.
[30:35] We'll do it one more.
[30:37] Yes, it does.
[30:40] And we're working on the Halloween party for Halloween.
[30:43] Let me give you over here in the school.
[30:46] Okay, all good things.
[30:51] CPS, PTA is hitting the ground riding. We've just finished up our school store, so all of
[31:00] that year we'll be going out and then we are working on piloting a new fundraising model
[31:10] this year. We'll see how that goes. We are working on some business sponsorships and just on Friday,
[31:18] but I have a request for business sponsorships.
[31:21] Just to kind of involve the broader community
[31:24] in some of the really cool things
[31:26] that we've got going on at school or at down with your school.
[31:30] Again, pilot programs will kind of see how that goes this year
[31:33] and what the feedback is from that,
[31:35] but I think that's really exciting.
[31:37] One of the things we always look at what's stuck to a jealousy
[31:40] because their budget is way bigger than ours
[31:45] because of the effort they put into bottles.
[31:47] So just looking at different fundraising and revenue sources for our PTA, so that we can also offer some of those similar things.
[31:56] We are working on our birthday gifts, which seem to be really exciting to the kids.
[32:01] They're a little fringes that they get.
[32:03] I don't know if I mentioned it last year, but this year they're getting sunglasses.
[32:07] I sure they've got water bottles.
[32:08] They're just little recognition for their birthdays.
[32:12] We've got a couple of shows that have been lined up for this school year.
[32:18] One of the good things that we have is bands and doing an amazing job at running a lot of
[32:25] programming into the school, so that has kind of taken, unfortunately, that off of the PTA budget.
[32:33] So they have funders and it's sponsoring those events, so we have, you know, PTA has the opportunity
[32:39] kind of look at like, okay, then sort of covered so what else can be, you know, do for this
[32:43] school.
[32:44] We're working on upgrading some of the AV equipment after several events where the AV equipment
[32:51] was less than adequate.
[32:53] So hopefully that will get resolved and just working on other things for that.
[32:57] So exciting things ahead for the PTA and you're looking forward to the rest of the year.
[33:05] And right now, Tulsa P2 is not a state of flux and not show what the size is going to be going forward, it's kind of on pause.
[33:18] Can I just, in my mind it seems like, why is there a boosters and a Tulsa P2?
[33:23] Can it just be the boosters?
[33:27] And this is just a board, is that the PTA really sponsors all things, and this is specifically
[33:34] here in my understanding towards the sports programs.
[33:40] So that's...
[33:42] Yeah.
[33:43] But in my mind, I've always been thinking that the two should be together because of the size of our school.
[33:50] It's the same people that we're making.
[33:53] Right.
[33:53] My apologies.
[33:54] to keep one parent organization called whatever you want, all of it.
[33:57] Yeah, exactly.
[33:58] And to just be all of the students, middle school high school,
[34:01] it's all sports, academic, school and live,
[34:04] teacher, students, support, whatever, you know,
[34:07] PTA's desk, it should be all inclusive.
[34:10] One group, because we're dividing and it's not working.
[34:14] We got right now, there's a strength behind the boosters,
[34:18] the numbers have grown, and you go to the meeting,
[34:20] and there's a lot of number there.
[34:22] And so that's a shift which is great, we should use that momentum, I don't know how they go about actually combining the groups or if that's what they want being a TTA, they're in a teacher association.
[34:36] So I would definitely recommend that out.
[34:39] And originally, it wasn't TMS, TTA, which grew to become
[34:44] held to our complex, and it was like boosters,
[34:47] was actually for the high school, which has now
[34:49] expanded to the high school, called boosters.
[34:53] So, and we have at the high school,
[34:55] to be honest, we struggled all along to have
[34:58] a large number of parents come to a PTA.
[35:01] So, it's always been the same for five people
[35:05] for the last decade or so.
[35:08] So, what's not happening if it's just these stories, what would be the essential things that you want to find and that being missing right now?
[35:22] Yeah, in the past, KTTA has done a teacher of appreciation, they several years ago have a sponsor, it will be nice, which it just became difficult for parents to actually volunteer.
[35:38] those. So basically I took it on on the Navy and the license. They did rubble beer store,
[35:47] but that's something that TMS can range through G&B and they happen. Some fundraising efforts
[35:56] but then the PTA also tries to be cognizant that in the middle school was pretty familiar in the
[36:00] high school, different classes, are also trying to do their own fundraising so they tried to set
[36:05] and not do extra fundraising, it's a majority of conduit for parents and teachers in terms of
[36:13] peers' information, yet we'll stay involved with what's happening in school and the
[36:19] genesis, also they show up in the middle school and stuff talking about what's happening
[36:23] in school,
[36:28] whatever it is for parents and teachers or the people who are just, it's mostly
[36:33] parents who come to the meetings and then there have been time for them to have been
[36:38] more of their history present than their parents.
[36:44] We have, like, I was getting 15 years ago, so we have a teacher problem and share
[36:50] here's a way that you know, the GTA might be able to help through the project or something.
[36:57] So I guess I'm just saying, they're not really, like I know the quality of the GTA,
[37:00] But it's not necessarily teachers involved, no historically, so if the booster is worse or if it's not like we're using something.
[37:11] I can say that having two students come through here, I've been to the PTA meeting, so I'm hopeful that they've been very, very willing to see a teacher.
[37:26] Your teachers go to the...
[37:29] Yeah, there's actually a lot of...
[37:30] I'm not a teacher, but I don't know if they're coming as a teacher or as a parent and a kid.
[37:34] I don't know if they're coming. I don't know if they're coming.
[37:38] I would say how before, public, half of our regular attendees for teaching earnings are to teachers.
[37:43] And they happen to have kids do this.
[37:46] They're working with a job, but most of them.
[37:49] Yeah.
[37:50] Yeah. No, it's interesting that it's always called TTA, but like,
[37:55] And like, as always, I'm hearing organizations like everywhere, not just here.
[38:02] It's that kind of, it's, it's, I've been a food, I mean, the PTA site in the middle school,
[38:07] we've been picking years ago, and I died out, I came back again, and then I explained it
[38:11] because the officers and their kids kind of ended up in high school, so I kept going
[38:14] to the site where the building was, I'd stand at everybody, and put them all kind of graduated
[38:21] and gone, and other people just haven't stepped up behind them to continue it.
[38:25] that's what's going to be a better challenge for.
[38:28] There are times when you buy it out, and I think you see this
[38:31] of a useful students as well.
[38:33] You get the same group of parents trying to look everything,
[38:35] because I could have the same group of kids trying to get the class officers
[38:37] in all the clubs, playing the sports teams,
[38:42] and their friends as well.
[38:44] And there's only so much fundraising you can do,
[38:46] and it always only asks you to put out the community,
[38:49] or very, very, very good about trying to step up,
[38:53] but they get to up to it.
[38:54] and they try to find that balance and they're calling me the words of the effect.
[39:00] And if they are able to combine it to a subcommittee, and focus on some of the pieces,
[39:06] they have to really have to sit down and think about each other on bylaws and checking accounts and other things.
[39:11] I don't look forward, but I pray everybody.
[39:13] It could be, at this point, it's not a functioning organization.
[39:21] Let's see if I can claim funders the teacher appreciation.
[39:27] So, can you?
[39:28] Yeah, I think some of the biggest budget items would be movie license.
[39:37] That is.
[39:37] 500 dollars.
[39:39] Yeah, I think teacher appreciation.
[39:41] and then we're the inside in this frame.
[39:49] Our PCA is also way back, and we end up using it.
[39:54] MEA testing, we're going to do a painting.
[39:57] Breakfast for the kids.
[39:59] Things have, in my opinion, in terms of the standardized testing
[40:03] and the burden that plays on kids, so that we
[40:08] It's not a full day of testing anymore. It's an hour and a half.
[40:13] And we spread that out from one day, one week, and another hour and a half,
[40:17] so it's really good.
[40:19] It really gives me the practice that takes a lot of effort in the test.
[40:23] But they did a good job at this time.
[40:29] But okay, thanks.
[40:36] I'm not going to close this in cash or watch.
[40:41] You do not have any business to turn to, so you need to continue business, you know,
[40:48] adjustments to be agenda. I suppose that you change the agenda by going to the
[40:52] current minority, you need to pay on the number one, and I look all in motion as agenda
[40:57] item or eight. To see the action, the board, which is to take the very entering
[41:01] workshop session to assess attendance and social activities, course to advice smooths.
[41:07] on the second.
[41:09] Does there any discussion on having this item to the agenda?
[41:15] Seeing none, all those in table are making the post-changes.
[41:21] We can't see any more of that.
[41:25] We'll be trying to push out the item of our trade.
[41:29] To see an action of order to take care of the post-reading of policy,
[41:32] easy to facilitate that.
[41:34] And the policy commitment on recognition.
[41:36] I'll see, I'll see committee representatives of people, again, it is worth all of you to the back to step in the bed.
[41:44] It's the new part, the rest is the material progression of 7.
[41:50] We're not in the second, we have the recommendations from the policy committee, so open the work for discussions.
[41:56] Excuse me.
[42:08] I'm not showing this to you, sir.
[42:11] It's true.
[42:12] It's true.
[42:13] It's true.
[42:13] You are heard.
[42:20] When we question feedback, comments, say none, all of those in paper are approving the first reading of the policy of the Commission's statement.
[42:31] Thank you.
[42:34] Number four, to see what action the board is just to take your writing a second reading,
[42:38] of public media, the AWS of Discript facilities,
[42:42] in pay-out-a-i, and pay-out-bam.
[42:47] Or even inside.
[42:49] C-out-e-t.
[42:50] Click in the, the new slides on the policy committee
[42:53] we'll have that creation.
[42:54] Policy Committee, Director Group.
[42:57] I need to set in.
[43:02] I would like to say the call is actually going to the public
[43:04] so that I can do something that they can get to state and then
[43:07] get to the point where they're going to have like this.
[43:11] And what will they give free time?
[43:18] They come here and ask questions.
[43:20] I would just file the one clarification.
[43:22] Initially when we did this, the order was doubled up in the policy between the two
[43:27] ones.
[43:28] So I just read a name.
[43:29] So, for instance, you do have a policy and I have a form of suffrage.
[43:32] I did this and this kind of in the motion, this makes sure that it's clarified up
[43:37] where you have a new body on both of them.
[43:40] So, I'm just really interested in the packets,
[43:43] so I'm going to give the all-seats for the two phones follow up.
[43:47] The first one is what anyone who wants is a space
[43:49] of four of the second one.
[43:50] Yeah, two of which would be for the administrators
[43:52] or whatever city could be too cool on.
[43:55] And they go, I think you're trying to use it a bit.
[43:59] Just as I was thinking, I just wanted to make sure
[44:01] that was clear to everybody.
[44:04] So, I think this is what I did say this one.
[44:06] Yeah, so I'll fit on.
[44:12] Okay.
[44:13] My Joseph.
[44:15] Do you want me to say my name?
[44:17] You catch those.
[44:21] Question these comments.
[44:25] No, no, no, doesn't favor.
[44:27] Every single day, a second pre-game of politics.
[44:29] KF and KFK1.
[44:33] KFK2.
[44:36] Thank you.
[44:37] Thanks.
[44:37] And we
[44:41] have number five.
[44:42] So you'd actually need board dishes to take the very board goals to the 25-25-26
[44:47] school year in a court-meets with policy in the various school district goals and objectives,
[44:52] and the policy to the level of recognition.
[44:54] Policy committee recommends it too, and this is just to kind of make sure...
[45:00] That everything we discussed in our last workshop was represented in the research on being able to be represented when we get to those now agenda item.
[45:09] I'm safe, I'm sure we'll get a
[45:20] little bit of decisions or any further discussion or questions.
[45:26] And then all of those in favor of approving board calls for 2021, 2021, it's clear.
[45:35] Thank you.
[45:38] On the six, to see the action of board, we'll just take you to the superintendent's suggested
[45:42] prizes that the sale of laptops to staff had 150 or 150 for the device in the public
[45:49] at 500 artifacts with a one-ache of no-one and two devices per individual. Do I have an
[45:56] useion? Motion left room?
[45:58] Oh, what's that?
[46:00] Kevin?
[46:01] Sorry.
[46:02] What else do you have?
[46:03] Look in the floor for discussion?
[46:07] Can you get me down to some sort of market value for these?
[46:11] They want someone, right?
[46:13] They yeah, so the average retail price for being written 2 hundred
[46:18] for $40,000,000,000,000,000.
[46:20] We did the idea was to make sure that the affordable,
[46:23] and we've had a lot of graduated students
[46:26] asking that you get to buy a school,
[46:29] you all look at for affordable customers' gifts.
[46:32] These devices have all been screened,
[46:35] and they sure they actually could work in order.
[46:37] We have to buy a lot of them.
[46:38] We have to buy a lot of them.
[46:38] So, we will use the resellant oil.
[46:40] We don't have a functioning or a broken laser
[46:42] all over the being used,
[46:44] they self-lifed from.
[46:46] So we've figured it's more important in people's hands, and we need the money we'll go back into the program for next year as part of the refresh of a high school transition, as better than that, and so this was after going to the refresh last year and using the resolar, we kind of thought we could do better by selling the public, versus trying to go pretty solid, we didn't make as much on it as we thought we were, it will still take on working devices and broken devices and even get something out of it.
[47:16] which is outside of the pay to recycle it. So it's rather nothing. But this will just allow
[47:22] for working laptops, charges and cases to be sold people. But have any of you up for shielding?
[47:30] We have
[47:35] 150. Thank you. And we kept some, this then, I'll all for sale yet because we have kept
[47:42] a lot of it for stairs and for damage control because the current place of laptops
[47:49] are beyond their warranty and so to keep it all in house and then we'll have another
[47:53] round next year if it goes for a budget wave plan to rush the high school devices
[47:58] life has, we'll be able to do this in one more time next year.
[48:04] How do you go about advertising sale?
[48:06] So once the water cruise is tonight, we'll be putting it out on Facebook and the website and
[48:11] Anybody make it in a paper, too?
[48:16] Is there any priority to who they go, too, or not?
[48:21] No, it's local.
[48:22] And I'm trying to show that there was a different place for our staff and students.
[48:27] And then we'll be reaching graduates as well.
[48:29] For example, home school students.
[48:32] It's a name practice and a club.
[48:36] So students and foreign students are included with staff.
[48:40] Okay, we'll have one.
[48:42] Hey,
[48:48] we have our questions.
[48:49] Thank you.
[48:50] We got one.
[48:52] One, two, three.
[48:53] Here is a second.
[48:55] Hello.
[48:56] We have a second.
[48:57] Yeah.
[48:58] We have a second.
[49:00] Okay.
[49:01] Thank you.
[49:01] Thank you.
[49:02] Thank you.
[49:03] Thank you.
[49:07] Thank you.
[49:15] Thank you.
[49:33] It's here, it's here, it's here.
[49:38] Get all the damp ones!
[49:42] I make a motion.
[49:46] Second.
[49:46] I'll suck him as a dance.
[49:48] Just a question.
[49:55] Thank you.
[49:55] That works for everybody.
[49:58] All right, so just to make sure that the sill and east committee will meet before this evening.
[50:02] It should be, you know, the Nash.
[50:04] They don't have a conflict still.
[50:08] You don't cut out a hair and they don't.
[50:14] All of those in favor of doing a December 15th, we need to December 8th.
[50:21] Thank you.
[50:21] Thank you.
[50:22] Thank you.
[50:27] Number 8.
[50:28] To see the action of orders is to take regarding entering workshops such as attendance
[50:33] and social activities hosted by schools.
[50:36] Let's look at this, I think.
[50:40] Let's look at the second.
[50:41] Is that good?
[50:42] Can we be best today?
[50:44] I'm not looking for a discussion.
[50:46] And the purpose, Mark and I both have had community members
[50:48] and board members reach out to us concerning attendants
[50:52] at social activities, which would be outside of regular
[50:54] extracurricular activities.
[50:58] Quite frankly, this is in our wheelhouse butter.
[51:00] And what is important?
[51:01] So I think it's just that shouldn't be an opportunity for us
[51:04] to air concerns as questions.
[51:06] And yeah, there are some things out there, so I'll talk to you in the thoughts, questions that you may have.
[51:13] Can you clarify what's considered a social activity and what kids are possibly currently prevented from attending the arts students?
[51:23] I'm not sure the actual issue is.
[51:26] I mean, you do just that.
[51:27] Currently like now.
[51:30] And we all allow the guest houses to get to the events.
[51:35] So in the military now it's two dances a year, high-end dances, string dance, and
[51:41] there are three other activity nights usually.
[51:45] There's up all activity and winter and another strike one.
[51:49] If we had not volunteers to the Linda Mina, but there's a high-end fighting night.
[51:53] It's two hours of fighting night.
[51:55] Thank you so much.
