[0:42] » Yes, sir. I can answer that. Um So, the the sign moratorium was for

[0:48] digital and off-premise signage. So,

[0:53] stationary, non-digital, on-premise advertising. So, uh perfect example of

[0:58] that would be Crystal Runck's Thrillers News Studio she just built.

[1:02] We did approve a a sign. That's one of the approved sign permits that you see

[1:05] on there. For her building sign. Uh if you would

[1:08] like a copy of the uh uh

[1:12] resolution that you guys approved, I can certainly email it out to you, but it

[1:15] was for digital and off-premise signage. >> I don't know if that's general or if

[1:21] anything is tied to her building. >> I I I'll I'll can get you the resolution

[1:26] that that you that you approved. I'll send it out to you guys.

[1:50] been offering monthly reports that we were linking to agendas.

[1:55] And him and I had failed to get that done. So, when you asked, that's what I

[2:00] got. If you want him to come before the council, I certainly can.

[2:03] » Well, the only thing that I would like more information on

[2:07] these reports don't deal with that. And that is is what is where are we at with

[2:13] these enforcement of and new nuisance

[2:17] abatement activity.

[2:20] This is just saying that the activity happened. This is what I did

[2:24] to get the activity going. But, I don't know where it's at. I don't

[2:29] know whether we were successful, we aren't successful. I want to get it I

[2:33] want to get that kind of information. Now, he can do that through this

[2:37] reporting, fine. But, I need that's what I'm looking for.

[2:42] Because people are asking me in my ward what's happening on these situations

[2:48] that they feel are important to be addressed, and I don't even know where

[2:52] we're at with it. You know, I can call Steve each time.

[2:56] Uh but, I would think that Steve could offer some kind of

[3:04] » So, if if I'm hearing you correctly, going forward you would like his reports

[3:10] to offer >> the status

[3:13] » address addresses the type of nuisance and whether or not we have successfully

[3:19] abated said nuisance. >> That would be the kind of detail that I

[3:23] would need to answer questions from my constituents in the ward.

[3:31] Okay. >> I can say that as a general rule, his

[3:34] approach is kind of a

[3:37] soft contact of some sort.

[3:41] And then it'll ramp up to formal letters and attempt follow up.

[3:49] And then at some point, if there's not adequate

[3:53] progress as determined by the city, then it goes to should we file some type

[4:00] of legal action. So, there are multiple phases, and depending on

[4:04] how receptive the landowner is, it will impact not the only variable, but will

[4:09] impact the time frame. Because sometimes there'll be like a little bit of

[4:12] progress, what about this? What about this?

[4:15] Sometimes there letters don't get delivered. So,

[4:19] I just tell you, there's multiple steps. >> Letters get returned in the mail.

[4:24] » The easy part about nuisance abatement is recognizing a nuisance and sending a

[4:29] letter. The extremely hard part about nuisance abatement is chasing down

[4:34] landlords, renters, property owners in general, and getting them to comply.

[4:40] Um our compliance

[4:45] rate is not I can guarantee you is not as high as what you would hope it to be.

[4:52] » I've looked into this a little bit a few months ago, and I drove around to

[4:57] a couple other towns, and I looked up their

[5:00] stuff on their website, and I know I in Tucson, they find people.

[5:07] So, grass isn't mowed, $25 fine, or $50 fine, or whatever.

[5:11] So, and what if they just throw those letters in the wastebasket, I think?

[5:15] » And well, we have mowed some, and we have assessed the cost of those mowing

[5:20] to property owners. In review right now, it's in Mike's

[5:23] office for review. The intent is if it's ends up to be something we want to move

[5:28] forward with, it would be adopted by council over the winter.

[5:31] But in in review right now, Peter something similar to what you're talking

[5:36] about when it comes to grass and weed nuisance abatement.

[5:42] So, >> I hope so, because I don't think we have

[5:45] any teeth the way it is. >> Well, we

[5:47] we do. It's just I think that the >> I'd rather have it not take three months

[5:51] though. >> time in which it takes to go through the

[5:55] current required processes on things like grass which happens to

[6:07] are going right. It's just from a position that I don't have access to the

[6:24] You know, we've had the track they went and they cut the weeds down and then I

[6:29] called Todd and said that thing's gotten terrible again. He said I'll give the

[6:32] guy a call again. We don't need a city manager or city manager pro tem or

[6:37] whatever having to call on weeds. We need to figure out a system that it gets

[6:41] pushed way down and we could just execute. And so that's

[6:45] where where And we've got celebration days this weekend and and I'm sorry

[6:49] parts of this town this town looks like heck

[6:52] with the weeds that aren't getting cut and and we have no teeth on that either.

[6:55] So hopefully over the winter or before um we get some things on there that we

[7:00] can delegate that way below Utah and decide whether or not we'll get it

[7:03] enforced. a weed call.

[7:12] reports. That shouldn't be It shouldn't be too big of a deal.

[7:51] until late on Friday requiring the closure to last through Friday

[7:55] through the overnight hours. And then just a reminder as our culvert project

[8:00] uh continues, we are anticipating a closure around

[8:04] 9/14 um for approximately 1 month in the same

[8:08] location of Highway 18. We'll put stuff out on our social media

[8:12] accounts and what like we did before, but that one will be

[8:54] we have we set aside the funds for that. And so, if anybody has

[8:59] any thoughts or opinions on what that looks like,

[9:02] I'd really like to know what your thoughts and opinions are so that we can

[9:06] work on getting that um funding available for them.

[9:09] Um and then at our last SEDC board meeting, they

[9:15] discussed goal planning and strategic planning. Um they are working towards

[9:20] getting that arranged and wondered if the city wanted to

[9:24] join them in that like we've done in the past. So, just something to consider.

[9:29] Um and then the last thing that I have is if you haven't checked out the mural

[9:33] project on the corner

[9:35] » it >> So, there's a new mural downtown and it

[9:44] the same model as last year or do you have a new model?

[9:54] what we had decided was we were not going to go with the same model and

[9:59] didn't go with that. Um >> So, does Children's World have model

[10:04] that they want to go with? >> No, they're leaving that to the

[10:07] discretion of the city because because they it's our funds and so they want us

[10:14] to be able to say how we want to use it. So.
