[7:58] production issue. they did not have

[8:00] enough rock salt that they produced for

[8:02] the year. So, I don't know if it's a

[8:03] combination of both or one or the other,

[8:05] but the newspaper article refers to the

[8:08] transportation being an issue of rock

[8:10] salt. So, we got two loads last week,

[8:12] we'll get two more loads this week

[8:14] potentially. Uh, and then it's anyone's

[8:16] guess from there. So,

[8:19] nothing much we can do about it other

[8:20] than just be patient and wait for

[8:22] hopefully this to get resolved. So,

[8:24] that's the one thing. The other thing is

[8:26] uh a few weeks ago there was an issue

[8:29] brought to the commission about the uh

[8:32] tractor snowb blowers the implement

[8:34] tractor snowblowers that are operating

[8:36] uh on the city streets. Uh we did a deep

[8:39] dive into that with the New York State

[8:41] Police also with uh the DMV and those

[8:45] vehicles are non-registerable

[8:47] non-insurable motor vehicles and cannot

[8:50] or should not be operated in that

[8:52] manner. uh through further discussions

[8:56] uh with our insurance company, we

[8:58] believe that we have a way to work

[9:00] through that and that's to create what's

[9:02] called a registry. A lot of other

[9:03] municipalities are are entering into

[9:05] this, Syracuse being one of them. Um to

[9:08] create a registry here where someone can

[9:10] come and register, provide that they

[9:12] have the proper insurance to have these

[9:14] vehicles operating

[9:16] um and then we'll essentially be the

[9:19] keeper of that to make sure that people

[9:20] are in compliance. So little bit more

[9:23] detail to work through, but um um

[9:26] that'll be something that'll be

[9:27] implemented next plowing season. We'll

[9:30] continue business as usual this plowing

[9:32] season as per the commission's

[9:33] direction. So

[9:36] uh next thing would be uh the pool. If

[9:39] uh people saw, we were awarded um uh

[9:43] funding through the swims program uh

[9:45] $2.6 6 million

[9:48] uh to basically redo the uh Glover pool

[9:52] complex. That includes a zero entry pool

[9:56] um uh splash pad and then improvements

[9:59] to the pool house. It's an 8020 split,

[10:03] meaning that the city has to pay 20%

[10:06] $650,000. The state will pay the balance

[10:08] of 2.6. It's a reimbursement grant. the

[10:11] city will have to go out and borrow the

[10:13] money and then file for reimbursement uh

[10:16] throughout the process. Lot of details

[10:18] still to work out. Rene and I had a

[10:20] phone call with our engineers on Friday

[10:23] uh waiting to hear back from the state

[10:24] with what they call a GDA, a grant

[10:26] dispersement agreement that should be

[10:28] here hopefully the next 10 days or so.

[10:31] Uh and then from there, uh the

[10:33] commission is going to have to make a

[10:35] decision if they're going to move this

[10:36] grant forward and approve it and and go

[10:39] forward with the project or not. So,

[10:42] we've got a little bit of homework to do

[10:45] that uh grant dispersement agreement to

[10:47] come in uh and look into a couple other

[10:50] particulars and then get back to the
