[22:52] Spark Museum and she worked with the Caribou um the Soda Springs Historical

[22:58] Society Caribou Caribou okay so um she worked with them a lot and they found

[23:03] all these like really cool pictures so there's a bunch there that they kind of

[23:06] cook from like magazine articles and stuff some of these are the last chance

[23:11] canal and then the rest of them are pieces from a newspaper from July 4th

[23:17] 1940 and stuff like that she got but Robin

[23:22] Thomas with her heartsy skills scanned all these and

[23:28] and collected all these we just put our name on it so we displayed these at um

[23:35] Enders when The Spark Museum was there and while uh so it was kind of like a

[23:41] museum of the county SLS spark exhibit kind of thing and so for the Carib

[23:49] historical society's help in getting all of these um we are donating all of these

[23:54] pictures to them so that they can display them or show them off or

[24:00] whatever they want to do with

[24:06] them a good story on the last chance Canal during that

[24:12] exhibit so if you get a chance to talk to Bill about that last chance Canal

[24:16] it's a good story about not giving up I I would like to talk about this one a

[24:20] little bit that guy right there the third picture on the top row stand

[24:26] Matthews 1 and my uh

[24:32] father-in-law was his son and uh from as long as I can remember hanging above the

[24:38] door in their office was this picture only it was only about 6 in high and

[24:43] about 2 ft long was taken in 1919 off a water tower that set right up just east

[24:51] of the depot and uh when Robin blew it up all the little

[24:58] details that you couldn't see then like the guys standing in front of the depot

[25:03] and the hotel little cars and stuff and even the names on the buildings downtown

[25:07] are readable so this is pretty cool you see

[25:11] this guy wearing like a tie and everything's kind of cool and and when

[25:15] you look at it you can recognize buildings and stuff that are either

[25:20] there or not quite there like Courthouse isn't quite there even though you said

[25:24] it was built 1919 so we're kind of excited about having this yeah

[30:42] week on the whatever th two Thursdays in a row we plan a site visit and a walk

[30:50] through a pre- bid conference on the 19th pH will be du on the

[30:55] 26th so we've got to we got to have two weeks of advertisement we'll do the walk

[31:00] through on Friday and then the bits will do the next Friday so by the end of the

[31:06] end of uh April we should have a contractor picked and put the schedule

[31:13] together in between there we will have a public an open house type public meeting

[31:20] with the business owners and everybody along Main Street who can do that while

[31:24] we're doing the bidding so that's coming so bid by the

[31:28] end of April you said the bids will be due April

[31:33] 26th then whatever time it takes to do the evaluation probably won't be

[31:38] presented until the following Wednesday night at

[31:42] city council for approval that up real quick if I can get

[31:55] up so I would look for approve on the 1st of May that's our first council

[32:00] meeting after the bids are due so we can get the the bid tabs put together bring

[33:41] houses type thing so just so you know that's just starting on Monday with the

[33:48] County Commissioners more of a county issue but it will overflow into the city

[33:52] so we might have the opportunity to upgrade some of our street signs road

[33:56] signs basically is what they're looking at yeah stop by my shop and ask a couple

[34:02] questions and uh one of the questions that I didn't have an answer to Is is

[34:06] there any ordinances that dictate uh addressing in the city limits for what

[34:14] marking or for yes for for the the residents res are required to have house

[34:20] numbers on their houses it's in our code it's in the state c

[34:25] um addressing itself is Hand by the county even in the city they they

[34:31] designate addresses to each parcel so that's a county function but the city

[34:36] does require numbers of houses so so that's just you know that's coming

[43:59] you could spend what seven truck loads on one home

[44:33] what cleanup week is for is to take out 100 foot pine trees out of yards that I

[44:38] mean that's it's just not that's not why we started it we started to get rid of

[44:42] people's junk so bring it to the yard we'll haul it

[44:46] away the other towns around the surround us do the exact same thing they provide

[44:52] they provide rolloffs in their city property people can bring stuff down and

[44:56] then they manage it from there so this isn't it wouldn't be

[45:10] competing with like for instance tree removal uh businesses and so I like I

[45:17] like your idea well when you asked May about the the dump truck load so I want

[45:22] to say it was I can't remember was two summers ago or two years ago or three

[45:26] yeah there was an instance where we had literally three or

[45:29] four large trees and I remember that when we're when we we've got one week

[45:34] and we do it by the day of the garbage route right so on Monday's garbage route

[45:38] that's we just follow the garbage route basically when we do pick up and that

[45:43] one residence took us half of that one day that we had to do basically a third

[45:48] of the entire town it took us half a day to do one

[45:54] house drive on by those with the clear understanding of the public that we

[45:58] don't do it or which my guess is that will upset

[49:15] is um Nutri and agrium New West will donate 608 acres of land to the city

[49:27] um our agreement is we'll pay half of the escrow fees we have we have

[49:34] U contacted Alliance Title they will close the deal without requiring title

[49:40] insurance I did look up the title insurance was about

[49:45] $30,000 but Alliance will close the deal as a donation to the

[49:51] city um they're also

[49:55] donating $50,000 to develop the land as recreational

[50:01] property they're agreeing to under the maintenance agreement 105,000 which is

[50:06] three years of 35,000 a year to continue spraying weeds and do fence

[50:13] repairs they have paid for us $225,000 for a survey that's completed and

[50:19] they're they're um willing to assist in design and Engineering to some degree on

[50:26] developing the properties um I guess what we're what

[50:30] they're on here for tonight is to get council's thoughts and ask for approval

[50:35] for the mayor to sign it when we when we're ready to close water rights there

[50:40] are three water rights included they have they have changed those water

[50:46] rights in applications for the adjudication I talked with water

[50:50] resources they said once you have the property to a change of name on the

[50:56] water water rights and then we will reapply to sustain all of I think

[51:00] there's a little over 4.8

[51:05] CFS so we'll start that process as soon as this is closed our mid fo out of

[1:03:16] want to pay the disposal fee and they'll save those up until the county does the

[1:03:21] county cleanup and turn those in for free which I am all for um I would warn

[1:03:26] you that some people just don't ever do that and you'll have these same people

[1:03:29] that'll I'll save this for the cleanup and it'll it'll just end up being

[1:03:32] dirtier and dirty and just absorb more and more garbage um so I would hope that

[1:03:37] the city decides to maybe enforce some City cleanups because as of yet you know

[1:03:46] burned out buildings there's some issues around town that I think need to be at

[1:05:57] strictly Trails do we want to see you know Motocross do we want to see bicycle

[1:06:02] Park do we want to see running pass you know whatever so this is kind of a

[1:06:07] really cool spot that we're in right now we don't get given 600 acres of land for

[1:06:13] and money at the same time and water rice that but it's outside cting yeah so

[1:06:19] south of the gravel pits um just this side of yeah yeah just this

[1:06:24] side all the way to the bridge so right now the plan is to not screw it

[1:06:30] up that's the Impact Zone right now is yeah and we did get a grant but we're
