don't want one person to buy a house we

build that block of course three when we
cap we're gonna have economic
[2:11]
development we need to get rid of these
awesome simple plans that by keeping one
[2:18]
house in the middle of the block you're
not doing the development of the block
[2:22]
when people come
one person these houses bid ready for
[2:27]
for demolition for a while there's no
interested in and I believe once they go
[2:33]
on a demolition list it's over that way
we have an obligation to the people that
[2:38]
live in that area and also for the
development we sat there and we listened
[2:43]
to that guy on that tape over there that
told us certain things got to come down

[11:09]
so new mostly care mister I have two
other items I'd also like to call and
[11:17]

[11:26]
September 5th at 6:30 next Tuesday and
we'll discuss medical marijuana and the
[11:34]

to the question we have tonight thank
[11:39]
you yeah absolutely sure here
[11:47]
yes in person anybody - yes sir thank
you and the clerk will to sell take the
[11:55]
apprentices committee to spend over 6:30
[Music]
[12:00]
and last not least I would like to
introduce what we all know our Parks
[12:05]
Recreation directors are doing a great
job and Laurie has a couple items she
[12:09]
like this too comfortable with so I
developed a survey for our Parks and
[12:15]
Recreation so if you go to our Facebook
page which is stupid building parks
[12:19]
recreation there's a link there that
will send you to Survey Monkey I'd like
[12:23]
as much feedback as I can get on
programs that the community would like
[12:26]
to see how they ran our parks folks are
partially used for a half an thing
[12:30]
because is one person don't always know
what the community wants so I get as
[12:35]
many people to respond with that that
would be great so close the September
[12:41]
thank you they give it to me friend of
Mr necessary your honor fish thank you
[12:48]
all mr. Baum continuing with committee
reports to mr. Tim usually pretty
[13:20]
I wasn't gonna say military but the sink
the state no this water department is
[13:28]
crucified
[14:01]
where's number 2017 an ordinance
authorizing the city manager to
[14:07]
advertise for Vincent accordance with
law what's the certain supplies for the
[14:13]
use of the service department and
provide for your contract for the
[14:18]
purchase of send materials for the year
2018 in any part of sentir through
[14:24]
December 31st 2018 authorizing the right
to reject any and all fits authorized
[14:33]
and entered into of contracts and pain
Sarah that's particular for supplies
[14:38]
we'll be using next year a little our
partner they using work plan with
[14:45]
sub-zero weather
[15:04]
but our hope is that as we bring
revitalization to Laval we're going to
[15:10]
be working on an overall plan that we
can bring to other neighborhoods here in
[15:14]
the city Satara we're doing an open
meeting unlike that off we invited a
[15:20]
group of us invited that all the people
that we knew personally but there many
[15:25]
people live all the elements so when you
live on without you are welcome to come
[15:30]
my address is 718 Bellevue and we're
meeting in the side yard there ten
[15:37]
minutes we'll be there is one of the
word council members who represent us
[15:41]
perfectly well Mike Jonathan won't be
there the city manager will be there and
[15:46]
we're going to talk about I think we
love about living on my pal but also our
[15:51]
number one concern and how we could
begin addressing more of those issues
[15:55]
related to that
in September we're hoping to have a
[15:59]
meeting with anybody with a land board
or label and the end of the conversation
[16:04]
about what are their concerns what are
our concerns so whether or not you live
[16:09]
on the
September that involves the influence
[16:12]
ugly though and I just get feedback from
a lot of people that they feel like they
[16:19]
don't have an opportunity to really say
what their concerns are so to have that
[16:24]
dialogue both ways and like I said we're
hoping that this would be doing this by
[16:30]
phases so that we can duplicate this and
I can bring this purpose stupid belt
[16:36]
Thursday if you're available we're going
to be at the marina there's already a
[16:40]
good amount of peanut recently and we're
going to work for at least nine 30s we'd
[16:51]
be there after the breakfast 9:30 it's
part of the unity caring and we'll be
[16:58]
there to at least one
feel free to jump in and join us
[17:04]
and lastly next Wednesday is the next
video on downtown revitalization Apple
[17:10]
for a few of us are going to be in
Worcester and digital i/o workshop but
[17:15]
this is open to the public
anybody can come anytime and these are
[17:20]
really interesting worthwhile videos
[17:25]
cities that have very different
populations that we have some of the
[17:28]
much smaller some of the bigger some of
the far side what are you doing to
[17:33]
restore it thank you I lost mrs. Owens
mr. Johnson never quit Thank You mr.
[17:44]
Johnson that will conclude the reported
committees from the members council
[17:48]
before we move into the administrative
officers I'd like to follow up mrs.
[17:52]
Vaughn saw remarks about this coming
Thursday the day of action with TL
[17:58]
Jefferson
[18:01]
as you're well aware it's the cleanup of
the marina hoping to bring focus to the
[18:09]
stupid marina and as we continue to put
the blueprints together for what we
[18:15]
consider the entries on to our community
I had requested a foodie a city manager
[18:22]
and through his leadership provided
great assistance but we had a meeting
[18:27]
with the street department they bought
beer along with our fire chief was there
[18:37]
and our parks of recreation on director
it was there all along personally
[18:41]
thanked the M&R department for putting
about three days of work down there
[18:47]
removing weeds and between the cracks on
the wall and all the diligent work that
[18:53]
they did the scraping of the lower end
with our front end loader and all and of
[18:58]
course I want to thank the fire
department for hosing down the wall once
[19:03]
not twice three times to remove the
debris of the night from there so it's
[19:11]
looking good
we're hoping Thursday that we could put
[19:14]
the tender loving care talk shop to the
marina there are some areas that we
[19:19]
still need to be removed and cut this is
fine we'll be providing some plans to
[19:26]
place down at the estuvo marina but it
is a great asset to the city and as we
[19:34]
could
to work on our claims of the development
[19:37]
of the estuvo right now it's important
for us to continue the show case that
[19:43]
particular area and show the people our
community that are on the outsiders of
[19:48]
what a golden asset that is that will
help develop our plans as you all know
[19:54]
we receive technical assistance from the
National Park Service and and really to
[20:01]
spend on glossy providing us with a lot
of information but we're hoping to hold
[20:06]
our two more meetings under that grant
agreement why not when we're planning on
[20:12]
having in September and that will be a
public outreach on leather under
[20:18]
development and thoughts of the marina
but more importantly how we can connect
[20:23]
all of our recreational assets in the
community they fail Jim was baby Park in
[20:30]
law together to really highlight
recreation as we won't know economic
[20:37]
development but that people consider
what the recreational activities you
[20:43]
have and what technical facilities live
under school districts at home but
[20:48]
that's part of it so we want to continue
to improve it when we fill this candy
[20:52]
and hopefully if we plan it properly our
September outreach meeting maybe FPS
[20:58]
stupor bottom and it will be in good
shape
[21:01]
for packaging for me so I think this
honks
[21:06]
or Hitler rather that day that day
happens to be extremely busy day 11 the
[21:13]
breakfast at 8:30 10 o'clock is
distilled counting off the government
[21:18]
continuing assessment until 2 o'clock
[21:30]
just you okay with that we will now move
to our administrative officer signal
[21:40]
strength of our city manager mr. Gregor
matters thank you Mary
[21:46]
I had plenty lastly for a while from
last week and I've answered a lot go on
[21:51]
a previous meeting but I do want to
bring this up mainly to the citizens are
[21:55]
out there I do appreciate the comments
that I get to be at the telephone or via
[22:00]
my email system or text message to
quality and your firefighters I want to
[22:08]
thank them personally for the extra work
they did this past weekend I personally
[22:13]
went out there to watch what they were
doing but there's always somebody that
[22:17]
wants to send a criticism via email and
give credit to the individual at least
[22:23]
he used his name more accurately spot
back time and his criticism was what our
[22:27]
fire department was down there working
this is not a city that has unlimited
[22:33]
equipment we don't have water trucks
sitting down on our inland our
[22:37]
department we have to use our tankers
about five o'clock before we even
[22:41]
entered into this having em go down
there they did the right notification to
[22:46]
the railroad to let them know sorted
ranked on so they can leave and respond
[22:50]
if they have to but those firefighters
in the combat they made he was concerned
[22:55]
that they would be out of breath out of
shape that you could respond no fire I
[22:59]
will tell you this I'm
match our firefighters against anybody
[23:02]
in this video they respond to fires
every day calls every day they did death
[23:08]
and help for taken a city problem that
upkeep at that marina down there anybody
[23:14]
that's been down there knows
this leads a massive amount of work that
[23:19]
we call on every department in his hall
and her trooper people are going down
[23:23]
here the mayor's group the United Way
again so instead of using that energy to
[23:28]
send out poison emails why don't you use
it and pick up a shovel too bro and
[23:33]
since the man was least a gentleman to
send his email in his name on it
[23:36]
I'm what asked him to meet with me and
I'll be more than happy to explain to
[23:40]
him what goes on here in this city but
this is a team effort every department
[23:45]
works together the trauma causes the
wishes of council and the citizens of
[23:50]
this town and I will tell you this after
last week this city is coming together
[23:55]
citizens are stepping forward
they're bringing information they're
[23:59]
letting us know what's going on here and
that ladies and gentlemen you can't pay
[24:04]
for so my hats are off to our citizens
they're taking an active role there and
[24:08]
again my city employees I can't thank
you enough at all departments is step
[24:13]
forward when we ask the impossible
sometimes it in doing so I just wanted
[24:18]
the citizens to know this we're still
have people out here that like to be
[24:22]
naysayers you know what step forward and
do something you might find out you
[24:26]
might like it
so again I thank all the citizens it
[24:29]
take to time to come here so you can
really see what goes on there that's all
[24:34]
I have for the season
thank you mister madam master
[24:38]
someone thank you for your leadership on
that particular project then I didn't
[24:43]
like to mention that this city line of
fishing in our Recreation Department
[24:52]
will be providing some rights Thursday
also a PSA but the Jade agreed to the
[25:01]
Solid Waste Authority of Jefferson
Belmont County will be provided the
[25:06]
barracks best and gloves for the cleanup
on Thursday so it did involve an art
[25:15]
city employees some outreach up to some
other organizations ultimately what I
[25:22]
would hope before our next meeting the
National Park Service would be when we
[25:30]
were down there the day that Miss
Ireland was here I forgot the update now
[25:36]
off of my head when we were down at the
marina site either the Corps of
[25:42]
Engineers or the US Coast Guard one of
them we were talking about a grant
[25:48]
opportunity to put in courtesy dock at
the marina and they indicated that that
[25:57]
could come probably have no cost to the
city but I'm going to do an outreach to
[26:02]
soil and water he works here on soil
water both Brandon and ear and who was
[26:09]
in attendance was very familiar about
that maybe they can assist us in
[26:14]
applying for that great
we can be ready to go come straight out
[26:18]
there that particular function but again
Thank You mr. o'maverick Madison our
[26:23]
employees are and I keep saying two
hundred go over 200 employees for the
[26:29]
city of Sioux vote and I consider them
all ambassadors for the SAT stupefied
[26:33]
with that we'll continue on to our wall
director mr. Matt rose looking tonight
[26:38]
guard Thank You mr. Masterson I'm not a
big department heads for attending
[26:45]
once I do you enter all miscellaneous
mr. dress we have briefly had some
[26:51]
updates of what's going on the 4th Ward
he hadn't known as money and hamburgers
[26:56]
and tribal loans present a financial for
tearing out the old Chinese Laundry
[27:00]
building a business there as a fighter
demolition it looks much better on 3rd
[27:06]
Street right and then we hadn't known
this time I inspire took down a huge to
[27:10]
lab data structure on North State Street
they finished with that about two weeks
[27:14]
ago and it took a long time in a town
covered about half a block on and
[27:20]
somebody else who I don't know did the
tore down a house on Sherman and had
[27:24]
needed to come down for some time
and also somebody clear a lot on
[27:29]
different Franklin at a whole bunch of
scrub in treaties most evident has 25
[27:35]
yrs to go popcorn company construction
is still moving along with Aaron
[27:41]
Hamilton now the Harmonia project is
still playing their Oktoberfest event
[27:46]
will be kind of October 6 through 8 of a
whole variety of different countries
[27:50]
downtown the desperado dogs and music
that are over at the fountain every
[27:57]
Mondays from 11 to 3 components they
will not be there on Labor Day you know
[28:03]
how about somewhere else we continue
work on the world sir at the granted
[28:09]
your honor wherever we're restoring the
Wurlitzer pipe organ that doesn't do do
[28:12]
that every Saturday from 10:00 to 2:00
visitin stopping by you're always
[28:16]
welcome to visit and work beside work is
starting shortly urban mission hunger
[28:23]
action month begins September 1st here
instead of doing
[28:28]
Ashley Steele if you don't know how to
get all over to contact me and I'll get
[28:32]
that for you
and the Jefferson County federated
[28:36]
Democratic women will host a Democratic
candidate meeting greeting a village and
[28:50]
[Music]
being involved with an actress mr. Paul
[29:20]
dishwater look three men made more
receptive scenic drives Ohio Bobby baby
[29:32]
what's happening
Houston Texas attention I heard a lot
[29:38]
about talking the astronomical fee for
water $20 bottle for all believers some
[29:47]
and so with congregation not dying
Willoughby was saying a tractor trailer
[29:54]
later the two tractor trailers full warp
to Texas for my members Charles Prentiss
[30:02]
he works for free initiative
early on - tonight and they've agreed to
[30:09]
donate trucks to send out to Texas I'm
planting depending on the time frame
[30:16]
that you can pull this off to fly off
the Texas so that we've got a good route
[30:20]
just water out to these people that need
it
[30:23]
stupid billing on the way that you know
what it is to meet water times past this
[30:28]
business that took place here the
citizens needed water I don't know what
[30:33]
it is to be in these situations when I
moved here from Florida we had hurricane
[30:37]
just about every week so acts the city
anybody that wants to be a part of this
[30:46]
one of the many cases of water bring it
to the church we want to stock it up the
[30:53]
locals trucks up the next week so I'm
still working on all the logistics we'll
[30:58]
have more information about that but
it's one great someone and I'm gonna ask
[31:02]
him to company the accident if you will
use nested next water and purchase it
[31:09]
from Walmart we have a contract
necessary got a brings no PA and we
[31:15]
delivered locally to Walmart
distribution center and if anybody's
[31:19]
familiar with Robert Schilling that
family beard local from Mingo and he
[31:24]
couldn't be here of course Seattle PD
and one so the Hat speak a little bit on
[31:32]
proceeds to help and I'm off doing a
couple things that I've only right now
[31:44]
we don't have actual hours weekly how
long times hours to break it in Monday
[31:50]
through Friday but Sunday we're there to
let them apply office with me so we want
[31:53]
to drop it off sunny there between 9:30
except by one o'clock you bring in cases
[31:59]
of water really appreciate your help so
we get those people in the air company
[32:12]
is there a corporate job partner of the
city of soon well in fact of sitting
[32:18]
across the aisle there when you need way
to get the decorations Christmas
[32:24]
decorations
you don't need that the truck drivers to
[32:29]
deliver properly
and we appreciate the inertia that we
[32:34]
have so thank you Thank You Tricia is
there anyone else wishing to speak to
[32:41]
