[1:59] Do we have anybody from the public who
[2:00] wishes to speak?
[2:02] All of you here from the public, please
[2:04] come forward who wish to speak.
[2:06] Uh, I see no one.
[2:09] Debbie, anybody on Facebook?
[2:11] >> Nobody on Facebook.
[2:12] » Nobody on Facebook.
[2:12] >> Okay.
[2:13] » Okay.
[2:13] Uh,
[2:14] first
[2:15] our only resolution and first item of
[2:17] business is
[2:19] uh,
[2:20] Simon Security resolution authorizing
[2:23] the acquisition of
[2:25] a uh, security camera system and
[2:28] upgrading our public address system.
[2:32] Um,
[2:35] we discussed this at a previous meeting.
[2:37] It's in our capital budget.
[2:40] Debbie, do you want to go over it
[2:42] briefly?
[2:43] Um,
[2:45] you all received the memo. I don't know
[2:46] if you had a chance to read it, but we
[2:48] all you all received a memo on this.
[2:50] Um,
[2:51] we received
[2:53] three proposals
[2:56] and chose Simon, which is our existing
[2:59] provider. Debbie, go over this briefly.
[3:03] >> Yes, the um, at the May I believe it was
[3:05] » Yes, the um, at the May I believe it was
[3:05] the May meeting we discussed uh, the
[3:08] beach
[3:09] uh, the open beach gate policy and the
[3:12] topic of security and video security on
[3:15] the beach came up and uh, staff was
[3:18] requested to research
[3:20] um, how how we might increase the park
[3:24] security to include the beach. Um, we
[3:28] have now received proposals from three
[3:31] qualified
[3:32] su- uh, video security suppliers. Um, we
[3:36] actually received uh, more than three
[3:39] only from three suppliers because we
[3:41] first were only looking at the beach and
[3:44] a couple of things transpired. First of
[3:46] all,
[3:47] um, we had a an extraordinary situation
[3:50] on July 4th weekend when a very rapid
[3:54] evacuation of the beach had to be um
[3:56] completed by our our park staff and the
[4:01] shortcomings of our public address
[4:03] system became quite apparent. And in a
[4:05] debrief
[4:07] um the one of the major takeaways is we
[4:10] need a better sound system so we can
[4:12] reach up everybody can hear us.
[4:14] Um and it um what we we learned is that
[4:18] um the touring video equipment that we
[4:21] were looking at for for video can also
[4:25] be easily adapted to audio.
[4:28] So what you're what you see on your
[4:30] screen is um a the the little red
[4:34] triangles indicate audio
[4:37] as well. So that when we're installing
[4:40] the video cameras we can install audio
[4:42] as well.
[4:43] And in addition to that um
[4:46] President Zuckerman asked the question,
[4:48] well what would it take to make sure
[4:49] that we have eyes on the promenade which
[4:52] of course has been the topic of all
[4:54] kinds of conversation
[4:56] we um when we were talking about
[4:58] unauthorized
[5:00] um motor
[5:01] you know, mopeds
[5:03] um in the park those moped riders were
[5:06] up and down the promenade um we didn't
[5:08] capture those on video. So um that's
[5:11] something that we added and to find out
[5:14] what would it take
[5:15] to include the um
[5:18] the promenade. So that has resulted in
[5:22] the proposal before you
[5:24] um for uh a capital investment of
[5:28] $17,467
[5:31] and change
[5:32] um which would come with an annual
[5:34] operating cost of $17 $147.
[5:40] » And the um
[5:43] in addition to the promenade you can see
[5:45] from the map that it also includes uh
[5:48] part of the uh the park itself, a small
[5:51] part of the park that adjoins the
[5:52] promenade. So, um
[5:56] you know, we have a lot of video
[5:58] coverage for that. Um in case anyone
[6:01] asks, the parking lot is already
[6:03] covered. Uh
[6:04] but this this we felt was lacking, and I
[6:06] felt it was very important that the
[6:08] promenade be covered.
[6:10] And it is covered under this proposal
[6:12] from Dearborn Ave. all the way to the
[6:14] north north gate.
[6:16] Um our security captain and and sergeant
[6:19] are here. Do you want to
[6:21] comment on the security? Feel feel free.
[6:25] Should introduce both of yourselves to
[6:27] the to the audience.
[6:31] >> My name is Pete Chilleo. I'm the park
[6:33] » My name is Pete Chilleo. I'm the park
[6:33] ranger captain down at Rye Town Beach.
[6:36] Uh my major concern was during 4th of
[6:38] July, we were unable to communicate with
[6:40] the public.
[6:42] Our public address systems just
[6:44] broadcast on the beach. We had multiple
[6:46] people in the park, and we couldn't
[6:49] communicate with them. This new system
[6:51] will enhance our ability to do real-time
[6:54] communication with the public.
[6:56] Plus, give us enhanced security by
[6:59] having us remotely view
[7:01] things that go on. It'll be a crime
[7:03] deterrent,
[7:05] and it'll record events that happen and
[7:08] limit the liability of the park and the
[7:11] beach to
[7:12] lawsuits and similar things like that by
[7:15] having a public record of things going
[7:17] on.
[7:17] And the new camera coverage coverage is
[7:19] most of the
[7:20] places that the public
[7:23] goes, the walkway, and the new walkway,
[7:25] which will probably be
[7:27] more conducive to have people come to
[7:29] the beach and walk.
[7:31] >> Um
[7:32] » Um
[7:32] also, this is going to be tied in by
[7:35] I already heard conversation. The Rye
[7:36] Police Department will have
[7:37] >> They're already tied in.
[7:39] » They're already tied in.
[7:39] >> total access to the system.
[7:40] » total access to the system.
[7:40] >> Sorry. So, there
[7:41] » Sorry. So, there
[7:41] Our concern is if people are on the
[7:44] beach after dark at night through the
[7:46] winter,
[7:48] the Rye Police will be able to
[7:51] see that as well. If there's
[7:54] something of concern that needs to be
[7:56] responded to.
[7:58] >> Right.
[7:58] » Right.
[7:58] So,
[7:59] just to clarify this a little bit. So,
[8:02] we have fixed cameras.
[8:05] Yellow and blue is one
[8:08] What's the difference between the two?
[8:11] >> Uh
[8:12] » Uh
[8:12] the blue have a wider range of
[8:16] sight. It's 180° versus the blue.
[8:20] >> And see the circles are basically the
[8:22] » And see the circles are basically the
[8:22] one one one will be facing the beach,
[8:25] the other away from the beach.
[8:27] >> Yeah, but I see your point. I see the
[8:28] » Yeah, but I see your point. I see the
[8:28] the blue seem to be 180 as well.
[8:31] >> And then we have the yellow which is
[8:35] » And then we have the yellow which is
[8:35] I don't know. I guess that's yellow over
[8:38] there.
[8:39] I don't know what this is. Yellow is
[8:40] here.
[8:41] This yellow seems like it's like less
[8:44] than a quarter.
[8:57] And also as far as the public address
[9:00] system,
[9:01] I know we're just showing
[9:03] a quarter quarter pie.
[9:08] Is it important also to be broadcasting
[9:10] out into the park?
[9:12] >> Some of it won't be. Right now there's
[9:14] » Some of it won't be. Right now there's
[9:14] nothing.
[9:15] >> Yeah, I get that, but if we're if we're
[9:17] » Yeah, I get that, but if we're if we're
[9:17] just putting one speaker in
[9:19] here, it's ideally only broadcasting out
[9:22] here.
[9:23] Seeing we're putting
[9:25] something on a post
[9:27] would
[9:29] Seeing we're going through this, would
[9:31] it be beneficial just to
[9:32] >> There are three divisions in the park.
[9:34] » There are three divisions in the park.
[9:34] It should be able to to with the park.
[9:37] Circles that go out to
[9:39] >> this part
[9:40] » this part
[9:40] speakers
[9:45] » Yeah, even the public address system,
[9:47] we are covering the beach as well to
[9:48] know where the people are. That's the
[9:50] other side of it.
[9:51] See we're just doing this. In other
[9:53] words, what it would cost to just put
[9:54] another speaker out there. See we
[9:56] already got the wiring for this speaker,
[9:57] we'll just stick another speaker. Is it
[9:59] a thousand bucks?
[10:00] >> Easy to ask the question.
[10:03] » Easy to ask the question.
[10:03] Yeah.
[10:04] >> See we're doing this.
[10:05] » See we're doing this.
[10:05] >> Right.
[10:07] » Right.
[10:07] >> We'll make sure keep that I think that
[10:09] » We'll make sure keep that I think that
[10:09] it will go that way.
[10:13] No, we'll make sure. We'll make sure it
[10:14] does.
[10:15] >> No, that's a good question.
[10:16] » No, that's a good question.
[10:16] >> Like the experts are the people that put
[10:17] » Like the experts are the people that put
[10:17] the poles in the park for us and and
[10:19] they would have a good idea like from
[10:21] this point going back to here, they may
[10:24] only hear 10% of what you can hear in
[10:26] front of the speaker itself.
[10:29] >> Yeah.
[10:30] » Yeah.
[10:30] >> So one more time, I just want to make
[10:31] » So one more time, I just want to make
[10:31] sure I clearly understand the ask.
[10:33] >> So so this it looks like there's one
[10:35] » So so this it looks like there's one
[10:35] speaker here which is projecting out in
[10:37] this direction and it's seems though
[10:40] and and yes this if we wanted to do it
[10:42] in shades of gray
[10:44] then we would have probably a black here
[10:47] and then by the time we get here maybe
[10:48] it's just white. I'm not I'm not sure
[10:51] how accurate that is.
[10:53] >> No, I understand. Yeah.
[10:54] » No, I understand. Yeah.
[10:54] >> You know the thing is I think I think
[10:55] » You know the thing is I think I think
[10:55] it's just see we're doing this.
[10:57] >> Yeah.
[10:58] » Yeah.
[10:58] >> I thought you were talking about
[11:00] » I thought you were talking about
[11:00] additional
[11:03] PA public address
[11:07] abilities to go out into the park.
[11:10] >> Well no.
[11:10] » Well no.
[11:10] He is No, I think that also.
[11:12] He's already doing it out to the beach.
[11:14] I'm just saying
[11:15] >> Right.
[11:15] » Right.
[11:15] >> if we're taking this step of we're we're
[11:18] » if we're taking this step of we're we're
[11:18] upgrading our system which is awesome
[11:20] that you guys have put the work into
[11:21] upgrading our system. If it's only I
[11:24] don't know what it costs for a speaker.
[11:25] If it's a thousand dollars a speaker,
[11:26] can we put another six speakers in?
[11:29] >> Mhm.
[11:30] » Mhm.
[11:30] >> Do you think it's beneficial?
[11:32] » Do you think it's beneficial?
[11:32] >> I don't even think you would need six
[11:33] » I don't even think you would need six
[11:33] speakers to if you just face them that
[11:36] way.
[11:36] >> Yeah, or whatever. We're going to put
[11:38] » Yeah, or whatever. We're going to put
[11:38] but we're going to talk to them.
[11:39] >> Yeah, cuz it says here the six
[11:42] » Yeah, cuz it says here the six
[11:42] horn speakers
[11:46] uh
[11:48] installed throughout the beachfront area
[11:50] with each speaker oriented toward the
[11:52] beach
[11:54] to provide clear public announcements
[11:56] and emergency messaging coverage.
[12:00] So, I think
[12:02] to Keith's point, which
[12:04] >> It probably would not take that much
[12:06] » It probably would not take that much
[12:07] additional to add it if they're putting
[12:09] in the labor, it'd be the same labor.
[12:11] And instead of mounting one speaker,
[12:13] they mount
[12:14] >> Two. Right. So, one there and
[12:15] » Two. Right. So, one there and
[12:15] >> it in in the park direction.
[12:17] » it in in the park direction.
[12:17] >> At least in a few places because the
[12:19] » At least in a few places because the
[12:19] concern seems to be that it's not just
[12:22] the beach, it's the park area, as well.
[12:24] >> And I think so. In in the park, it also
[12:26] » And I think so. In in the park, it also
[12:26] here you have a lot of people maybe
[12:29] inside bathrooms and different things
[12:31] like that. The showers or in the offices
[12:34] or
[12:35] and in this speaker may not be covering
[12:37] into this area where
[12:39] >> Yeah.
[12:40] » Yeah.
[12:40] >> you may have more of a concentration.
[12:41] » you may have more of a concentration.
[12:41] >> As as I understand the video cameras we
[12:43] » As as I understand the video cameras we
[12:43] have do have some speaker capabilities,
[12:46] but let's let's fill that out. I agree.
[12:48] >> to we're we're doing this. So,
[12:51] » to we're we're doing this. So,
[12:51] so I I I kind of think that we should
[12:54] make sure we do everything right and I
[12:55] just I
[12:56] I'm just still a little bit confused on
[12:58] the the yellow fixed camera versus the
[13:00] blue fixed camera.
[13:02] >> Yeah.
[13:03] » Yeah.
[13:03] >> It looks like we have more yellow fixed
[13:05] » It looks like we have more yellow fixed
[13:05] cameras,
[13:06] but it seems like there's less yellow
[13:08] area on the map.
[13:09] >> Keith, I hate to interrupt you.
[13:11] » Keith, I hate to interrupt you.
[13:11] >> Sorry.
[13:11] » Sorry.
[13:12] >> By another way.
[13:13] » By another way.
[13:13] >> The the air flying has to be the same.
[13:15] » The the air flying has to be the same.
[13:15] So, let's do a vote and then we can talk
[13:17] more.
[13:17] >> Okay.
[13:18] » Okay.
[13:18] >> Okay?
[13:18] » Okay?
[13:18] >> Does that sound okay? Sorry.
[13:19] » Does that sound okay? Sorry.
[13:19] >> So, we can just say subject to
[13:22] » So, we can just say subject to
[13:22] additional
[13:24] s- you know, speakers as recommended by
[13:27] the consultants. I think that's kind of
[13:29] where
[13:30] Commissioner Cunningham is headed.
[13:32] >> Yeah.
[13:33] » Yeah.
[13:33] >> Looks good.
[13:34] » Looks good.
[13:34] >> That sounds appropriate. I mean, given
[13:36] » That sounds appropriate. I mean, given
[13:36] what we heard so far and what you're
[13:38] saying, absolutely, that seems
[13:39] appropriate.
[13:40] >> Yeah.
[13:42] » Okay, so we're going to amend the
[13:43] resolution to allow for some additional
[13:48] speakers as recommended based on our
[13:50] conversation.
[13:50] >> Yeah.
[13:51] » Yeah.
[13:51] >> You said
[13:51] » You said
[13:51] >> If need
[13:52] » If need
[13:52] >> Doesn't sound like
[13:53] » Doesn't sound like
[13:53] >> If needed, yes.
[13:54] » If needed, yes.
[13:55] >> Yeah, I think
[13:56] » Yeah, I think
[13:56] I think that the further resolve
[13:58] actually I think already
[14:01] includes that.
[14:02] That staff officers, staff are
[14:05] authorized to execute any necessary
[14:06] purchase order, agreement, or related
[14:08] documentation and to take all actions
[14:10] necessary or appropriate to carry out
[14:13] this resolution provided such
[14:14] documentation is substantially
[14:16] consistent
[14:17] with the attached proposal.
[14:19] I think that probably
[14:21] >> It covers
[14:21] » It covers
[14:21] >> It's close enough.
[14:22] » It's close enough.
[14:22] >> Yeah, it covers it.
[14:23] » Yeah, it covers it.
[14:23] >> I think we're giving you a few more
[14:24] » I think we're giving you a few more
[14:24] dollars if you need to buy a few more
[14:26] >> I'm not worried about it.
[14:27] » I'm not worried about it.
[14:27] >> Yeah, I didn't think you were.
[14:29] » Yeah, I didn't think you were.
[14:29] >> Get on it, Debbie.
[14:30] » Get on it, Debbie.
[14:30] >> I was worried about it.
[14:31] » I was worried about it.
[14:31] >> Debbie was worried about it.
[14:33] » Debbie was worried about it.
[14:33] That's that's her job.
[14:35] All right, a motion and a second,
[14:36] please.
[14:37] >> So moved.
[14:38] » So moved.
[14:38] >> Second.
[14:39] » Second.
[14:39] >> Uh please call the roll, Debbie.
[14:41] » Uh please call the roll, Debbie.
[14:41] >> Commissioner Klein.
[14:42] » Commissioner Klein.
[14:42] >> Yes.
[14:43] » Yes.
[14:43] >> Commissioner Cunningham.
[14:44] » Commissioner Cunningham.
[14:44] >> Yes.
[14:45] » Yes.
[14:45] >> Commissioner Cohn.
[14:46] » Commissioner Cohn.
[14:46] >> I'm sorry. Commissioner Nathan.
[14:48] » I'm sorry. Commissioner Nathan.
[14:48] >> Yes.
[14:51] » Commissioner Marino.
[14:52] >> Yes.
[14:52] » Yes.
[14:52] >> From now on it's just Commissioner
[14:54] » From now on it's just Commissioner
[14:54] French.
[14:56] >> President Zuckerman.
[14:57] » President Zuckerman.
[14:57] >> Yes.
[14:59] » Yes.
[14:59] >> Thank you, everybody. And we will we
[15:01] » Thank you, everybody. And we will we
[15:01] will enjoy this.
[15:03] >> See you.
[15:03] » See you.
[15:03] >> Good luck, enjoy Jason. Have fun.
[15:05] » Good luck, enjoy Jason. Have fun.
[15:05] >> Thanks for voting.
[15:06] » Thanks for voting.
[15:06] >> Happy birthday.
[15:07] » Happy birthday.
[15:07] >> Happy birthday.
[15:08] » Happy birthday.
[15:08] >> Happy birthday.
[15:09] » Happy birthday.
[15:09] >> Uh it's your son.
[15:11] » Uh it's your son.
[15:11] Uh would you like me to leave this up or
[15:12] have we completed the convers- the
[15:14] discussion?
[15:14] >> we're pretty complete.
[15:17] » we're pretty complete.
[15:17] >> Do you have any other questions for our
[15:20] » Do you have any other questions for our
[15:20] staff?
[15:20] >> And I think this this this is a really
[15:22] » And I think this this this is a really
[15:22] good proposal.
[15:26] » I have to I have to say I was uh really
[15:29] impressed with the proposals we
[15:30] received. The even the proposals we
[15:33] received that have not been recommended
[15:35] are were really
[15:38] superior, I thought.
[15:40] And uh where the technology is heading
[15:42] just is crazy.
[15:45] Um
[15:46] >> All right.
[15:46] » All right.
[15:46] >> This this absolutely makes the best
[15:48] » This this absolutely makes the best
[15:48] sense. It completely integrates with
[15:50] what we have. It's already integrated
[15:52] with the police department. It it's it's
[15:55] slides right in.
[15:57] Um but some of the cloud-based systems
[15:59] are really impressive.
[16:01] >> All right. Good. Thank you, Deb. Um
[16:04] » All right. Good. Thank you, Deb. Um
[16:04] you
[16:05] >> Thank you, guys.
[16:05] » Thank you, guys.
[16:05] >> I hope you've all read the management
[16:07] » I hope you've all read the management
[16:07] report.
[16:10] I mean
[16:11] useful. You didn't speak. You want to
[16:13] say anything?
[16:14] >> I would say thank you very much for
[16:16] » I would say thank you very much for
[16:16] making my job a lot easier to be able to
[16:18] follow
[16:20] through
[16:21] being able to tell people things and
[16:23] being able to see what's coming from the
[16:25] north and what's coming from the south.
[16:27] >> Right.
[16:27] » Right.
[16:27] >> It's a big help and
[16:29] » It's a big help and
[16:29] it's probably better that we did it
[16:32] sooner than later.
[16:34] It probably saved a lot of money doing
[16:36] it this way because of the integration
[16:38] of the other system.
[16:41] » Introduce yourself. We heard him.
[16:43] Tell everybody who you are.
[16:44] >> I'll introduce myself.
[16:48] » What's your name?
[16:50] >> My name is Anthony Casarella.
[16:52] » My name is Anthony Casarella.
[16:52] >> That's right, Casarella. He's right.
[16:53] » That's right, Casarella. He's right.
[16:53] He's our
[16:55] ranger sergeant,
[16:57] lieutenant, major domo.
[16:59] >> Major sergeant.
[17:00] » Major sergeant.
[17:00] >> Okay.
[17:01] » Okay.
[17:01] >> Yes. So uh
[17:03] » Yes. So uh
[17:03] >> And he does a great job with Pete.
[17:05] » And he does a great job with Pete.
[17:05] They're a great team.
[17:06] >> He's the best.
[17:07] » He's the best.
[17:07] >> They're both good.
[17:09] » They're both good.
[17:09] >> He he's the
[17:09] » He he's the
[17:09] >> It's a good team.
[17:10] » It's a good team.
[17:10] >> I would add that uh that Tony is
[17:12] » I would add that uh that Tony is
[17:12] stepping up to assist Vic in a whole
[17:15] range of responsibilities at Wright Town
[17:18] Park.
[17:18] >> Chris?
[17:19] » Chris?
[17:19] >> Yes.
[17:20] » Yes.
[17:20] >> That's why I wanted you to introduce
[17:21] » That's why I wanted you to introduce
[17:21] yourself because you're going to become
[17:22] better known.
[17:24] >> Yeah.
[17:24] » Yeah.
[17:24] >> Yes, sir.
[17:25] » Yes, sir.
[17:25] >> Okay.
[17:25] » Okay.
[17:25] >> Which I don't mind at all.
[17:27] » Which I don't mind at all.
[17:27] >> He's he's slipping into some of the uh
[17:30] » He's he's slipping into some of the uh
[17:30] the scope of work that was left un-
[17:33] attended.
[17:34] >> Okay.
[17:35] » Okay.
[17:35] You tell me.
[17:37] I'll do it.
[17:38] >> Thank you, Tony.
[17:38] » Thank you, Tony.
[17:38] >> Be good. And it was nice to meet you all
[17:40] » Be good. And it was nice to meet you all
[17:40] of you, Mayor. I met you last time you
[17:42] were at the park. Nice to see you again.
[17:44] >> Great job.
[17:44] » Great job.
[17:44] >> And Mr. V,
[17:46] » And Mr. V,
[17:46] take care of yourself. All right? Talk
[17:48] to you soon.
[17:48] >> Thank you, Tony. Thank you, Pete. Much
[17:50] » Thank you, Tony. Thank you, Pete. Much
[17:50] appreciated.
[17:52] Uh
[17:54] the um
[17:56] You can read the management report. Uh
[17:58] the paver project is installed.
[18:02] And uh
[18:03] everybody's seen the Friends Stucco
[18:05] project. The buildings look gorgeous.
[18:08] Uh just an update. Uh we're waiting for
[18:10] the engine final engineer's report. Uh
[18:13] the Friends are going to be doing that
[18:14] at
[18:15] retaining wall section we call the
[18:17] Friends wall.
[18:19] Or Diana's wall.
[18:21] And uh hopefully that'll be done uh in
[18:23] the early fall.
[18:25] And uh all the other projects are are on
[18:28] schedule.
[18:29] Um
[18:30] we're putting paperwork in. Hopefully
[18:32] the uh the walk along the promenade will
[18:36] be installed. We're hoping
[18:39] you know, starting October 1st. Um
[18:42] so, all everything is moving forward.
[18:46] Um
[18:47] I Then the next item
[18:50] uh we're going to have a presentation.
[18:54] Is Chance hiding in the back?
[19:03] Chance is our administrative aide.
[19:04] You've seen his his name on some of the
[19:07] uh the memoranda.
[19:09] And um
[19:11] he
[19:12] I I asked him to prepare this report. It
[19:15] actually grows out of the the discussion
[19:17] we had on parking tickets.
[19:19] So I I I said
[19:22] how much money are we taking in from the
[19:23] kiosk and everything from
[19:25] you know, the B&M bank. So Chance is
[19:27] going to give us this report.
[19:30] >> Great.
[19:30] » Great.
[19:31] I do have to apologize. I'm a little
[19:32] under the weather despite the weather
[19:33] being over the top lately, but
[19:36] So here is a park review
[19:39] for our attendance review. This is
[19:42] taking a look at two time ranges.
[19:45] May 1st through June 30th of 2025 and
[19:48] 2026.
[19:50] The the data that we've collected, I've
[19:52] worked with Jose Oliveros to collect
[19:55] this data and we're also integrating our
[19:58] digital dashboards to get all these
[20:00] numbers that you'll see.
[20:02] So first we'll take a look at permits.
[20:04] In 2025 between May and June, we've
[20:08] scanned 3,300 or 3,035 permits. We've
[20:12] sold 2,328
[20:15] and we've made just shy under $300,000
[20:18] in sales. And in 2026, that number's
[20:22] bumped up 42% to 4,311 scans. We're down
[20:26] a little bit in permit sales to 2,005
[20:30] and
[20:32] that reflects in the total sales
[20:33] 273,924.
[20:37] » What is a permit scan? Where where is
[20:39] that
[20:40] >> the scan?
[20:40] » the scan?
[20:40] >> It's scanned whenever they come whenever
[20:43] » It's scanned whenever they come whenever
[20:44] the public comes to the park to scan
[20:46] them for beach access.
[20:47] >> For for beach access scan.
[20:49] » For for beach access scan.
[20:49] >> From a holder.
[20:49] » From a holder.
[20:49] >> Permit to beach access access scan.
[20:51] » Permit to beach access access scan.
[20:51] >> Yes.
[20:51] » Yes.
[20:51] >> So these are
[20:53] » So these are
[20:53] This is
[20:54] how often our permit holders
[20:57] are coming to the beach.
[20:59] So every time a permit holder or a
[21:02] family scans their permit in, that's
[21:05] recorded.
[21:07] >> All right. And a permit could be for one
[21:10] » All right. And a permit could be for one
[21:10] person or five people depending on the
[21:11] size of the family.
[21:13] >> That's correct.
[21:14] » That's correct.
[21:14] >> Got it. Okay.
[21:15] » Got it. Okay.
[21:15] >> Mhm.
[21:16] » Mhm.
[21:16] >> And um I spoke with uh Jose Oliveros and
[21:20] » And um I spoke with uh Jose Oliveros and
[21:20] some members of the staff to sort of
[21:22] interpret that number and you can
[21:23] interpret it in many ways, but I think
[21:25] the most probable way is you're having
[21:27] less people buy new permits, but more
[21:29] people consistently coming to the park.
[21:34] We've also taken a look at uh M2 Pay or
[21:36] M2 Pay dashboard, so that would be the
[21:38] mobile app.
[21:39] >> Did Did you take a look at Excuse me,
[21:40] » Did Did you take a look at Excuse me,
[21:40] did you take a look at whether
[21:42] this
[21:43] period last year versus this period this
[21:45] year?
[21:48] That is a period key.
[21:49] >> No, but the weather.
[21:51] » No, but the weather.
[21:51] >> Right. How many beautiful days this year
[21:53] » Right. How many beautiful days this year
[21:53] versus last year?
[21:54] >> Yeah, so on average uh last year was uh
[21:57] » Yeah, so on average uh last year was uh
[21:57] this year was more
[21:59] uh was drier than last year.
[22:01] >> Good.
[22:01] » Good.
[22:01] >> On average.
[22:03] » On average.
[22:03] >> Is that maybe for for future we're going
[22:05] » Is that maybe for for future we're going
[22:05] to put together some reports if
[22:08] I don't know. Do Do you Is this is for
[22:10] every day of the the period of time?
[22:12] >> Mhm.
[22:13] » Mhm.
[22:13] Yeah, from May 1st to June 30th.
[22:16] >> So, maybe you want to
[22:18] » So, maybe you want to
[22:18] >> Include a weather report?
[22:19] » Include a weather report?
[22:19] >> Yeah,
[22:20] » Yeah,
[22:20] you could just say outright scans or
[22:24] days that are
[22:25] no sun, days that are rain. Just break
[22:28] it down so we can get a little better
[22:30] feel, not that
[22:31] that more work onto you.
[22:32] >> No, it's okay. No, that's good.
[22:34] » No, it's okay. No, that's good.
[22:34] >> But that may be interesting to take a
[22:36] » But that may be interesting to take a
[22:36] look at. Is there a way that if a family
[22:38] of five comes in,
[22:41] is there are we checking IDs for the
[22:44] other family members or is it a
[22:46] possibility that someone could come in
[22:48] with a family permit and have
[22:51] >> The
[22:52] » The
[22:52] >> people that are The system we've
[22:54] » people that are The system we've
[22:54] developed
[22:55] He doesn't know.
[22:57] But the system we've developed, when a
[22:59] family applies for a permit, we get
[23:02] their picture.
[23:03] >> Okay, so so
[23:04] » Okay, so so
[23:04] >> So, the and when they show up at the
[23:07] » So, the and when they show up at the
[23:07] gate to say, "Hi, here's my pass."
[23:10] the park attendant scans
[23:12] the the code, picture comes up on their
[23:15] screen.
[23:16] >> Okay.
[23:16] » Okay.
[23:16] >> So, they can look at the person
[23:18] » So, they can look at the person
[23:18] presenting the permit
[23:20] and the people with them, presumably,
[23:23] match it up with
[23:24] >> that you can just go in scan the permit
[23:27] » that you can just go in scan the permit
[23:27] five times if it's a family of five? And
[23:30] then we'd know exactly how many people
[23:32] are coming in versus
[23:34] >> What you're saying is can we change the
[23:35] » What you're saying is can we change the
[23:35] process so that if a family of five
[23:37] comes in, they scan it five times?
[23:39] >> Yeah, so we don't have to
[23:40] » Yeah, so we don't have to
[23:40] >> records as five five people enter.
[23:42] » records as five five people enter.
[23:42] >> Yeah, so instead of
[23:44] » Yeah, so instead of
[23:44] instead of having us I give every single
[23:46] person every single permit have five
[23:48] people associated with it and then any
[23:51] given day
[23:53] that's a lot more than any permit
[23:55] permit has one person.
[23:58] >> Say it again.
[23:59] » Say it again.
[23:59] >> So, if if each person that's walking in
[24:01] » So, if if each person that's walking in
[24:01] the door on a day for an extreme
[24:03] situation, we have 100 people walking in
[24:05] with a permit and they have four people
[24:08] with them for total of five.
[24:10] So, there's actually 500 people coming
[24:11] in with them.
[24:12] However, if the permit is only scanning
[24:15] for one person
[24:16] >> Oh, so you're saying are they gaming the
[24:17] » Oh, so you're saying are they gaming the
[24:17] system?
[24:18] >> We're only not gaming the system.
[24:19] » We're only not gaming the system.
[24:19] They're just coming in
[24:21] just so we have an understanding of how
[24:23] many people are coming in because if
[24:24] somebody has a permit and they're
[24:25] bringing four other people in with them
[24:27] on that permit, we're only scanning the
[24:28] permit one time
[24:30] and we're only thinking there's only one
[24:31] person coming in with that permit.
[24:34] Right? But the thing is there may be
[24:36] five people coming in. What you're
[24:37] asking is how much how how many people
[24:39] >> are going on the beach?
[24:41] » are going on the beach?
[24:41] Yeah, just how many people are using the
[24:42] beach?
[24:43] >> Yeah.
[24:44] » Yeah.
[24:44] >> Simple as that.
[24:45] » Simple as that.
[24:45] >> Yeah, cuz if if 2,000 permit scans could
[24:48] » Yeah, cuz if if 2,000 permit scans could
[24:48] represent
[24:50] >> 5,000 people.
[24:51] » 5,000 people.
[24:51] >> people or 10,000 people.
[24:52] » people or 10,000 people.
[24:52] >> Right.
[24:53] » Right.
[24:53] >> Right, or 2,000 people.
[24:55] » Right, or 2,000 people.
[24:55] >> Right, that'd be good to know. Maybe cuz
[24:57] » Right, that'd be good to know. Maybe cuz
[24:57] These are otherwise the information is
[24:58] reasonably worthless for us.
[25:00] >> Interesting.
[25:02] » Interesting.
[25:02] I'll have to think about it. Um we
[25:03] actually have a little bit more
[25:04] information in this presentation
[25:06] >> fine. I just I I just
[25:08] » fine. I just I I just
[25:08] as we move along.
[25:11] >> I can also use uh utilize the
[25:13] » I can also use uh utilize the
[25:13] uh permit dashboard to
[25:16] Uh there are there are filters you can
[25:18] utilize in the dashboard that can filter
[25:20] out uh families and
[25:23] presumably individuals. So, I can try to
[25:26] get back to you on that as well in a
[25:27] separate report.
[25:29] So.
[25:29] In a follow-up.
[25:31] Um so, mobile app daily parking and
[25:33] beach fees that uses our uh M2 pay
[25:35] platform. Uh from 2025, we have 1,763
[25:40] total transactions and our sales
[25:43] $18,087.
[25:46] That's up 46% this year to 2,573
[25:49] total transactions
[25:51] with uh 26,716
[25:54] sales. So, up 48% in that regard.
[26:00] Our kiosks um
[26:02] last year, our total payments was just
[26:05] under 8,000 at 7,803.
[26:08] Our total sales just under 100,000 at
[26:11] 97,124.
[26:13] That's up this year 15% to 8,964
[26:18] with the total uh sale 101,607
[26:22] 676.
[26:25] Up 5%.
[26:27] >> So, to get the total parking, we'd take
[26:30] » So, to get the total parking, we'd take
[26:30] the kiosk and the mobile apps and
[26:32] combine them
[26:33] >> Correct.
[26:33] » Correct.
[26:33] >> to find out how many cars
[26:36] » to find out how many cars
[26:36] are non-permit cars. Non-permit cars.
[26:39] Okay.
[26:40] >> Correct.
[26:42] » Correct.
[26:42] And uh daily beach admissions from
[26:44] Shopify or Shopify uh platform, our
[26:47] total sales is 119,242
[26:50] and this year it's up 28% to 152,000
[26:54] and $37.
[26:57] » Are there additional fees that are being
[26:59] taken out of our revenue
[27:02] working with with Shopify?
[27:06] >> Yes, I believe so. I we've been unable I
[27:10] » Yes, I believe so. I we've been unable I
[27:10] don't believe that they
[27:12] allow us to pass on the credit card fees
[27:15] to the customers.
[27:16] We've removed our our payment of fees
[27:19] everywhere we possibly can.
[27:21] But Shopify we haven't been able to do
[27:23] it.
[27:25] We may switch point of sale system next
[27:28] year.
[27:32] » Okay.
[27:33] And this is a number that I thought was
[27:35] very interesting. Our parking citations.
[27:37] So, in 2025 from May 1st to June 30th,
[27:41] the number of citations issued was 48.
[27:44] With the total amount paid being 2,570.
[27:48] This year in that time frame is 405
[27:51] citations.
[27:53] >> What's the percentage of citations that
[27:55] » What's the percentage of citations that
[27:55] have been paid?
[27:57] >> About 50% so far.
[27:59] » About 50% so far.
[27:59] >> About 50% and and traditionally that is
[28:01] » About 50% and and traditionally that is
[28:01] also about the same in years past.
[28:03] >> Usually our rate is percentage rate
[28:08] » Usually our rate is percentage rate
[28:08] by the end year it's I understand from
[28:11] Passport it's around 80% which is on the
[28:13] high end.
[28:15] >> Does that make sense, Keith?
[28:17] » Does that make sense, Keith?
[28:17] This has been in June. So, people who
[28:19] got citations
[28:21] in let's say on June 15th
[28:24] and will pay it, this would be showing
[28:27] up as unpaid.
[28:27] >> Yeah, no I understand.
[28:28] » Yeah, no I understand.
[28:29] >> But it's just it may be helpful on on
[28:30] » But it's just it may be helpful on on
[28:30] this in the future is to have in there
[28:33] the percentage of citations that have
[28:36] been paid.
[28:36] >> Paid this far?
[28:37] » Paid this far?
[28:37] >> And are all the citations for the same
[28:39] » And are all the citations for the same
[28:39] amount?
[28:41] >> What's the ask
[28:42] » What's the ask
[28:42] >> Is this each citation is for the same
[28:43] » Is this each citation is for the same
[28:43] amount?
[28:44] >> they they are all the same amount. Um,
[28:46] » they they are all the same amount. Um,
[28:46] Chance, the table that I mentioned from
[28:48] Ala, did did that make it into this any
[28:51] slides or it's this?
[28:53] >> It would be this.
[28:53] » It would be this.
[28:53] >> Got it. Okay.
[28:57] » All right.
[28:58] And I wanted to talk a little bit about
[29:00] Placer AI. So, Placer AI is a platform
[29:04] that utilizes GPS and AI to document
[29:07] attendance data. And we've had a really
[29:08] good relationship so far with uh, the
[29:11] people over there and they've given us a
[29:13] really good report. So.
[29:15] Uh,
[29:15] again, Placer AI uses uh, GPS data and
[29:18] how it works is that uh, the platform
[29:20] partners with del- related apps. So,
[29:23] whenever you go on your phone and
[29:25] you open up an application, uh, like
[29:27] Taco Bell or any other app like that, it
[29:30] asks for uh, your location services. And
[29:33] if you were to activate that, it uses
[29:34] that data
[29:36] uh, on your cell phone to track
[29:37] movement. And what we've done is
[29:41] uh, we've gotten a report that sh- uh,
[29:44] indic- cates all traffic within Wright
[29:46] Town Park. And the AI uh, interface
[29:50] actually interprets information and
[29:52] generates summary reports based off of
[29:54] that trafficking.
[29:56] So, we've managed to get this uh,
[29:59] summary. So, again, between May 1st and
[30:02] June 30th, uh, the park had 122,000
[30:06] visits with 71
[30:08] Oh, 2025, correct. Uh, with 122,000 uh,
[30:12] visits and 71,000 individual and unique
[30:16] visitors. So, that's the individual
[30:18] phones.
[30:19] Um, visit frequency, so that's how many
[30:21] times they return,
[30:23] uh, 1.71 and 26 minutes average dwell
[30:27] time.
[30:28] This number, um, might seem a little
[30:30] confusing, but it also includes
[30:32] taxi drivers who come to deliver food at
[30:34] the park. It includes a whole host of of
[30:37] people. So.
[30:39] And that chart to the right
[30:40] >> what with with the
[30:43] » what with with the
[30:43] 122,000 visits,
[30:46] the average time that a person has been
[30:48] in the park is 26 minutes.
[30:50] >> Yes, but that also includes a whole host
[30:53] » Yes, but that also includes a whole host
[30:53] of people. So,
[30:54] >> yeah, I understand that, but
[30:57] it's interesting.
[31:00] >> And the the chart to the graphic on the
[31:02] » And the the chart to the graphic on the
[31:02] right actually shows something really
[31:04] cool. Um
[31:05] it shows the locations presumed
[31:08] locations of where people were
[31:10] during their duration. So, before coming
[31:12] to the park, 51% were home, um
[31:15] and then when they went to the park,
[31:16] they spent time there, and after that
[31:18] they either returned home, spent more
[31:20] time doing leisure activities, or dining
[31:22] at a restaurant nearby.
[31:25] And the 2026 report has 132,000
[31:30] visits, so up 9%. Uh 81,000 in unique
[31:34] visitors, so up 15%. And
[31:38] uh visit frequency a little bit less
[31:40] at 1.63, and the average dwell time 33
[31:44] minutes.
[31:44] >> So, in order for
[31:46] » So, in order for
[31:46] us to identify some of our visitor
[31:51] which you
[31:52] totaled here,
[31:54] they have to be able to they have to be
[31:55] turning on
[31:57] access to their phone for
[32:00] tracking.
[32:02] >> So, so long as uh
[32:04] » So, so long as uh
[32:04] so long as a person were to have their
[32:07] location services on on a partnered app,
[32:11] then they would be tracked.
[32:13] Um so, for example, if uh Placer AI were
[32:17] partnered with app X, and uh the
[32:21] individual had their location services
[32:24] turned on for app X,
[32:25] uh whenever they get to the park, that
[32:27] would be tracked. If it was app
[32:29] >> we have
[32:30] » we have
[32:30] Do we really have a good feel for what
[32:32] percentage of people have actually
[32:34] allowed access to their location.
[32:39] » We don't, but there are
[32:41] >> how many visits do you think that we've
[32:43] » how many visits do you think that we've
[32:43] had visitors that we've had
[32:47] to the park?
[32:49] Anyway, no no
[32:50] >> This is This is a statistically
[32:52] » This is This is a statistically
[32:52] This is a statistical model.
[32:54] >> Well, I I understand I I Yeah, I I get
[32:56] » Well, I I understand I I Yeah, I I get
[32:56] all that. But anyway, go ahead. What's
[32:58] the difference between visits and
[33:00] visitors? What is a visit?
[33:02] >> Uh visits are um whenever the person
[33:04] » Uh visits are um whenever the person
[33:04] comes to the park. Visitors are just the
[33:06] unique like the unique entity itself.
[33:08] Yeah, it's a unique
[33:09] >> So if I come to the park 10 times
[33:11] » So if I come to the park 10 times
[33:12] >> Explain that again.
[33:13] » Explain that again.
[33:13] >> The visitors are the unit, so the
[33:15] » The visitors are the unit, so the
[33:15] individual itself, and the visits are
[33:18] the the time that they stay or
[33:20] yeah.
[33:21] >> So when I come to the park
[33:22] » So when I come to the park
[33:22] >> I'm a visitor. And if I turn come to the
[33:24] » I'm a visitor. And if I turn come to the
[33:25] park
[33:26] >> The action of being at the park
[33:27] » The action of being at the park
[33:27] >> then it's then it's 10 visits.
[33:30] » then it's then it's 10 visits.
[33:30] >> Yep. The action of being at the park is
[33:32] » Yep. The action of being at the park is
[33:32] the visit.
[33:32] >> Okay.
[33:34] » Okay.
[33:34] I I'm I'm sorry. I'm just
[33:37] It's So a visitor
[33:40] So I go to the park
[33:42] once, I'm a visitor, I'm there for 33
[33:45] minutes and leave.
[33:48] How do I become a visit?
[33:51] » That's one visit.
[33:52] >> So one visit So one visit, however, oh,
[33:55] » So one visit So one visit, however, oh,
[33:55] but I'm that visitor may So that that
[33:58] visitor is it So each visitor that came
[34:01] to the park between May 1st and
[34:05] June 30th
[34:08] only was in the park for
[34:11] for two times during that entire time
[34:13] frame.
[34:14] >> Yeah, so I think a better way of looking
[34:16] » Yeah, so I think a better way of looking
[34:16] at it is is there 80,000 visitors um
[34:20] 80,000 visitors may visit once, but
[34:22] 80,000 visitors, you know, some of them
[34:23] might visit twice, and that's accounted
[34:25] in the total number of visits.
[34:26] >> seems like an incredibly high number of
[34:29] » seems like an incredibly high number of
[34:29] somebody coming only
[34:32] twice in the matter of two months.
[34:35] Anyway, I I just
[34:37] >> Yeah, it's a pretty massive
[34:38] » Yeah, it's a pretty massive
[34:38] >> It it just seems like this is
[34:40] » It it just seems like this is
[34:40] >> Do you really think it's going to spell
[34:42] » Do you really think it's going to spell
[34:42] the park
[34:43] apart?
[34:43] >> Um
[34:44] » Um
[34:44] Go ahead. I'm sorry.
[34:46] >> It's okay.
[34:46] » It's okay.
[34:46] >> I think I think the one message you
[34:48] » I think I think the one message you
[34:48] might want to take from this is the
[34:49] dwell time.
[34:51] And you may want to think about how to
[34:53] make the park stickier
[34:55] for people to stay longer.
[34:57] >> I I
[34:58] » I I
[34:58] I don't know who would come here for
[35:00] 30 minutes unless they're just out
[35:02] walking their dog.
[35:05] >> I think you have to you have to balance
[35:06] » I think you have to you have to balance
[35:06] that. That's an average. But
[35:08] >> No, I I understand it's an average, but
[35:10] » No, I I understand it's an average, but
[35:10] the thing is it just
[35:11] >> But if I'm in if I go to the Barley
[35:13] » But if I'm in if I go to the Barley
[35:13] Beach House for two hours,
[35:16] somebody else maybe a taxi driver
[35:18] dropping off a fare
[35:20] and he's got his phone on and he's
[35:22] leaving and he's there for 5 seconds.
[35:24] So, that's that's going to be averaged.
[35:27] I don't think the average dwell time is
[35:29] is a meaningful figure. I think the the
[35:32] visitors figures is is meaningful. I
[35:35] think that's really the
[35:36] the only really meaningful figures
[35:38] followed by possibly the visits.
[35:41] >> But the thing is we Anyway, I We don't
[35:44] » But the thing is we Anyway, I We don't
[35:44] We don't have any I It It's Go ahead.
[35:46] I'm We're beating a dead horse.
[35:49] >> You what we absolutely can do, we'll
[35:51] » You what we absolutely can do, we'll
[35:51] send out to the commissioners the report
[35:53] that we got from Place right now.
[35:55] >> but I just I just
[35:56] » but I just I just
[35:56] >> Which is, you know, much
[35:57] » Which is, you know, much
[35:57] >> No, I I'd love to see it because it just
[35:59] » No, I I'd love to see it because it just
[35:59] seems like
[36:00] >> Which one? Sure. In fact, I would say
[36:01] » Which one? Sure. In fact, I would say
[36:01] that
[36:02] >> This is it's cool use of technology, but
[36:03] » This is it's cool use of technology, but
[36:03] I don't think it's very credible.
[36:06] Anyway.
[36:08] >> Yeah, I I just wanted to add that Place
[36:10] » Yeah, I I just wanted to add that Place
[36:10] AI
[36:11] >> So, you're maybe credible, but it might
[36:14] » So, you're maybe credible, but it might
[36:14] not be useful.
[36:15] >> I don't think it's either.
[36:19] But anyway, it's cool because it has Go
[36:22] ahead. Go ahead.
[36:23] Go ahead.
[36:24] >> Uh Place AI has been pitching business
[36:27] » Uh Place AI has been pitching business
[36:27] to the town of Rye and to the city of
[36:30] Rye
[36:31] for over a year.
[36:32] >> Okay.
[36:32] » Okay.
[36:32] >> And the
[36:35] » And the
[36:35] I understand your rec department came
[36:36] very close to a contract.
[36:38] >> I'm not
[36:39] » I'm not
[36:39] >> I was kind of hoping that we could
[36:41] » I was kind of hoping that we could
[36:41] piggyback on one that but that didn't go
[36:43] forward. But
[36:43] >> So so
[36:44] » So so
[36:44] >> So your staff is familiar with this
[36:45] » So your staff is familiar with this
[36:45] product.
[36:46] >> So
[36:47] » So
[36:48] what are we gaining by knowing 8.7% of
[36:50] the people that
[36:52] uh
[36:52] came to the park for their 33 minutes
[36:57] were having dinner somewhere or dining
[36:58] somewhere?
[36:59] >> You know, what I take away is I'm
[37:01] » You know, what I take away is I'm
[37:01] looking at the growth in visitorship.
[37:03] >> All right, so anything else we can talk
[37:05] » All right, so anything else we can talk
[37:05] about? Yeah, I didn't too. Yeah, no I I
[37:08] I don't want to talk about this anymore.
[37:09] We're not We're good.
[37:11] Okay. Sorry for this. Thank you.
[37:12] >> No, I mean I
[37:13] » No, I mean I
[37:13] >> I just this presentation what if this is
[37:15] » I just this presentation what if this is
[37:15] going to take us, right? Maybe
[37:18] before our meeting someone they can
[37:19] email us that way we know what are we
[37:21] talking about.
[37:23] But it's okay. Just meet them.
[37:25] >> I I think I should have stopped a long
[37:26] » I I think I should have stopped a long
[37:26] time ago.
[37:28] >> He didn't finish his presentation.
[37:29] » He didn't finish his presentation.
[37:30] >> No, I know. Go ahead. I know I was being
[37:32] » No, I know. Go ahead. I know I was being
[37:32] rude. I'm sorry.
[37:33] >> No, it's okay.
[37:34] » No, it's okay.
[37:34] So here is the total. So Placer AI has
[37:38] averaged from 2019 to 2026. They've
[37:42] given us a visit trend chart and it
[37:44] shows a steady decline since COVID. You
[37:47] can see the COVID marker um and March of
[37:51] 2020 there was an increase a massive
[37:53] increase of visitations largely because
[37:55] cuz people were locked indoors and
[37:57] being outside was relatively the only
[37:58] thing you could do.
[38:00] Since 2020 there has been a steady
[38:02] decline as you can see with the really
[38:03] long arrow. However, it is important to
[38:06] note um with this steady decline there
[38:10] is a peak currently right now from June
[38:13] of 2026. You can see
[38:16] that the May number into June all the
[38:18] way up to the end of the right is
[38:20] surpassing previous years' numbers that
[38:22] are in July. So, it does show relative
[38:26] hope for visitation, as well.
[38:29] >> What I What I take away from that is
[38:33] » What I What I take away from that is
[38:33] it's a general trend line, but
[38:36] we're having a good year in terms of
[38:38] visitation this year. And Keith, it may
[38:41] be due to the weather. We'll look up the
[38:43] weather reports.
[38:44] All right.
[38:46] >> And I've included a summary of points at
[38:48] » And I've included a summary of points at
[38:48] the very end. So, again, wants to
[38:50] reiterate, the general trend indicates
[38:52] long-term decline,
[38:54] but 2026 is showing
[38:56] some upward trajectory, and peak periods
[38:58] are between mid-June and July. So,
[39:01] target programming here that goes back
[39:03] to making the park stickier for
[39:06] attendees. So.
[39:08] Yeah, and that would be
[39:10] my presentation.
[39:11] >> Thank you, Chance.
[39:12] » Thank you, Chance.
[39:12] >> Thank you.
[39:12] » Thank you.
[39:13] >> Very Very well done.
[39:14] » Very Very well done.
[39:14] >> Thank you.
[39:15] » Thank you.
[39:15] >> Much appreciated.
[39:17] » Much appreciated.
[39:17] >> Of course. And I'll follow up with
[39:19] » Of course. And I'll follow up with
[39:19] with the full report that Placer AI sent
[39:21] us, as well as
[39:23] as well as the weather report.
[39:25] Thank you.
[39:25] >> All right.
[39:26] » All right.
[39:26] Anything else?
[39:28] No.
[39:33] Meeting was short.
[39:35] It'll be even shorter once we have a
[39:37] motion to adjourn.
[39:37] >> much shorter if I wasn't here, Guy.
[39:39] » much shorter if I wasn't here, Guy.
[39:39] >> Well, that's actually very true, Keith.
[39:42] » Well, that's actually very true, Keith.
[39:42] >> I I think I think I think you raised the
[39:44] » I I think I think I think you raised the
[39:44] general question, which is
[39:46] it's interesting to get the data, and
[39:49] we kind of have to zero in on
[39:52] which data is actionable for us, and you
[39:57] know, what what
[39:58] what do we really
[40:00] I I think that
[40:02] I'm I'm
[40:04] I'll be brief. I'm worried that the
[40:05] Placer data is the
[40:08] the actual numerical values they're
[40:10] giving us are not
[40:12] really particularly
[40:15] useful, but the general trend of
[40:19] if they're telling us a lot of people
[40:20] are coming from dinner and then there's
[40:22] some number of people coming after
[40:23] dinner and that that's interesting to
[40:25] know cuz you get a sense of how they're
[40:27] using the mark the park and if you're
[40:28] seeing trends are going down since COVID
[40:31] but they're kind of leveling out,
[40:33] that's good to know.
[40:36] You know, whether 81,000 people actually
[40:38] went to the park, I don't know, but it's
[40:40] great to get that sort of general gist.
[40:42] I think that
[40:43] >> When we make a grant application
[40:45] » When we make a grant application
[40:45] >> Yes, so we're going to tell them
[40:46] » Yes, so we're going to tell them
[40:46] >> You you do it. Okay.
[40:48] » You you do it. Okay.
[40:48] >> Well, I'm not going to I'm not going to
[40:50] » Well, I'm not going to I'm not going to
[40:50] come in on that.
[40:51] >> Anyway
[40:52] » Anyway
[40:52] >> I won't criticize
[40:53] » I won't criticize
[40:53] >> have on the agenda? Do you want to make
[40:54] » have on the agenda? Do you want to make
[40:54] a motion to adjourn?
[40:55] >> Make a motion to adjourn.
[40:57] » Make a motion to adjourn.
[40:57] >> I'll second.
[40:58] » I'll second.
[40:58] >> All in favor.
[40:59] » All in favor.
[40:59] I got it.
[41:00] >> Aye.
[41:01] » Aye.
[41:01] >> Our next meetings are August 18th and
[41:03] » Our next meetings are August 18th and
[41:03] September 15th.
[41:04] >> Cool.
[41:05] » Cool.
[41:05] Thanks.
[41:05] >> Thank you everybody.
