[27:39] So this is going to be our payment end-to-the-treat program, it is the transforming reimbursement for emergency ambulance transportation program.

[27:47] And essentially it's federal Medicaid money, that was available to the ambulance services in the state of Mississippi, but requires a state match.

[27:56] In 2022, the state legislature did not want to provide the state match, but

[28:01] they came to an agreement with the Mississippi ambulance alliance wherein all of the

[28:05] ambulance services, we pay in and pay in the state match, and then we get back the

[28:12] state match and the federal money.

[28:13] So on this payment, this is for all of fiscal year 2026 for the managed

[28:18] fare payments. We will pay in $59,456 and we'll receive back $249,283. So our

[28:30] profit will be a little over $189,000.

[28:45] from Chief Harry Morden III to adjust the tiered pay scale for the Vicksburg Fire Department effective September 2nd, 2026 Chief Martin.

[28:57] We're asking here to take some adjustments to our tier system, all of our 24-hour shift employees are on a tier scale.

[29:06] So these adjustments will help secure all our ambulance side of things and stuff.

[29:10] the city, the Vicksburg Fire Department's provided ambulance service to the area since 1969.

[29:17] And we've never dropped our levels service any time after a majority of the services

[29:21] across the state dropped services in the level of a care they've provided.

[29:26] We've always maintained a high-leak service here, but along that we're just asking to make

[29:33] and material adjustments to secure those guys.

[29:37] We're also adding an additional pay scale for EMT advance.

[29:43] It gives our firefighters an incentive to achieve that.

[29:48] So we have an EMT advance, which is a primary provider role and the paramedic.

[29:54] So somewhere in between, so if we add that,

[29:58] and incentivize some of that.

[30:00] As firefighters to achieve that and that allow them to do roles and be a primary provider as well. Those are the things we're asking to be improved and changed on our tear system.

[30:16] We're one of the few cities in the state that operate our own

[30:21] ambulance service, and I believe this helps us to recruit and retain

[30:25] qualified personnel in order to continue to offer the service.

[30:32] And when we fail to do that, we run the risk of losing any services.

[30:37] We don't maintain it, and this is going to help us to do that.

[30:41] And chief also want you to speak to the contract that we have an opportunity to sign with

[30:50] merit that this also be a part of that we will make transfers from merit hospital.

[30:56] Yeah, some of this a lot of this goes hand in hand so the retention and adding people

[31:02] on so we'll be able to expand some of our operations to build transport services to the hospital

[31:09] and some medical facilities here luckily it also helps our citizens that need to

[31:15] get from the hospital to area hospitals in Jackson or get them back home or

[31:21] get them back and that just gives them a reliable transport service to and

[31:26] from and that's also going to increase some revenue from the hospital that will

[31:32] also help offset some of these costs that we will incur.

[31:39] And that's also important because it creates another revenue

[31:44] source for the city, you know, and we

[31:48] won't continue to run that service as a deficit.

[31:50] And the projections we have, we will run it at a search

[31:55] plus for the first time we, and ever, yeah.

[31:59] So for the first time in America, we'll run that service at a surplus instead of deficit.

[34:35] scenario-based incidents set up for them to work through as if they're officers and investigators,

[34:44] And then December 8th is Citizens Academy graduation, and we like to hold that at the Convention

So we're going to walk them all the way through from the point where the application is put into the point that they're sworn in.

[35:32] That curriculum that they have to digest and be able to articulate and then comprehend for

[35:39] the test is concerned.

[35:41] They won't have to actually take any academic test or anything like that.

[35:45] But then we'll actually move into practical applications.

[35:50] How do you apply traffic laws to what you do?

[41:12] This revival is to one, the main purpose is to bring souls into the kingdom, but to two for us to come together as unity to share ours, to show our strength for the city can have a turnaround because we know about the clients and this different things been going on in our city, and we know once we come together with unity for those who are believers in Christ, we know God will hear our prayers.

[41:36] And so the law has placed upon me to get with city officials, different ministries, and we have been talking it out, and it has been a large, a number of different spiritualities have come together, and we are meeting every Monday at 6 p.m.

[41:52] to talk about how to do the city revival.

[41:55] And so far, we want to have it downtown in Beesburg, because we feel that it is the central location for the city,

[42:02] to show that it's also bringing outside of the four walls of a building of a church

[42:08] and to allow those individuals who will never step into a church,

[42:11] be able to come to this service, those who may be in the area to come.

[42:16] So we just wanted the people to know that it's not about a church.

[42:20] It is about us coming together in unity and it's also about bringing souls into the King of God.
