[1:35]
So, I was just calling for my seat, I would be like, I would be like, so, y'all three, I'd be like, I would be like, I'd be like, oh my God, I'd be like, oh my God, I'd be like, oh my God, maybe like, maybe like, maybe like, maybe like. Okay, all right, I'll just ask it. All right, I'll just have to do the bill, I'd be like, how can you do?
[3:02]
So we just want to make sure that there's a knowledge of meeting, and we can do it with the forum next.
[3:14]
I hope you have a great time.
[3:16]
I have a report and a great mission of business.
[3:19]
We have a busy business.
[3:20]
We have a busy business.
[3:21]
Okay.
[3:22]
And then the public forum can be sent up.
[3:24]
So I don't understand.
[3:25]
I see us.
[3:28]
And that's going to be on every agenda.
[3:30]
And they won't always be here.
[3:32]
Because it was the city council meeting that said that another court on that reminder court,
[3:37]
but there isn't.
[3:39]
They're working on stacks right now.
[3:41]
There's nothing exciting to report enough.
[3:48]
Okay, number seven.
[3:49]
Request your new thought based on the consent agenda that you need.
[3:56]
Meaning that's so I don't know for eight consent agenda.
[3:58]
Can I get a portion to a group that consent agenda as presented?
[4:04]
Twenty-fold.
[4:05]
Can I get a second?
[4:11]
Questions?
[4:14]
Those are favors.
[4:15]
They are the same.
[4:36]
They are the same.
[4:37]
Can I get a second?
[4:40]
Let's go ahead.
[4:41]
Let's go ahead.
[4:42]
Any further discussion or questions?
[4:49]
I'll suppose they are the same.
[4:54]
Number 10 reports.
[4:56]
That is one of the financial reports.
[4:58]
Got to leave it in the end of that.
[5:01]
Tonight we will have to approve the free-livenary survey.
[5:05]
And
[5:10]
between now and December,
[5:12]
work and the e-regants and numbers and does up-based and then also we have our referendum
[5:19]
election this year as well. So it's always recommended that the preliminary levee is both
[5:26]
is approved at the maximum and that's the leverage that's used and this year is especially important
[5:33]
because we have that election.
[5:37]
Overall the levee is about 88,000 which is about 2.8%
[5:45]
Thank you, at the time of going to do that, we're going to do those reports, Bill.
[5:49]
I'm going to highlight two things. One is back to school conferences. We're a success.
[5:54]
94 percent turnout, which I think is amazing. And we are off and running.
[6:00]
And then, second, I just want to highlight our partnership that we have this year with Freshwater, our special education squad today.
[6:08]
I've just been amazing into work work and our staff feel so supported by them and
[6:13]
interested in the social part of it, they have program specialist that are in our building
[6:18]
each of our buildings once a week, so somebody that can touch base and help continue
[6:23]
with supporting our special education teachers and sending some meetings, they're just
[6:29]
breathing out of a lot of professional development opportunities to keep growing our staff as well
[6:34]
and making sure that we are not buying this.
[6:36]
So it's been a wonderful study or working with them.
[6:41]
And first, do they do the paperwork that we've
[6:44]
had for our special education curricula,
[6:46]
or is that someone wants us or something?
[6:49]
Because it wasn't the reason we had that person
[6:52]
was because of all the paperwork that we used to be.
[6:55]
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
[7:00]
So, a special director is part of all of Pong, and she is like the superintendent's
[7:06]
special ed for Pong, that the one who oversees all of the people and has to have a legal
[7:10]
question.
[7:11]
Attendant's the conference says, oh, I have it.
[7:14]
We don't have it.
[7:15]
So, that person, we have our contract with Freshwater for a portion of their person, but that
[7:22]
person also serves now 17 other districts.
[7:25]
That's why we have these program specials we're coming in to be.
[7:30]
So, it is on between our buildings and her. Okay.
[7:35]
There can't be any activities that she can.
[7:37]
That's right. That's right.
[7:38]
Between the three of them. Okay.
[7:41]
They're doing that. So, yeah.
[7:43]
And just to know the transition to fresh waters in movement in process.
[7:49]
And I plan on having it on November, agenda, much more in depth about where do we go next with that?
[7:56]
So, it's moving right out over making some adjustments and I don't want to get a report.
[8:04]
I want to focus on a lot of operative references right now and we'll have a tie.
[8:09]
And that will still be the time we've done a fashion that we've done.
[8:13]
May I play the drama now?
[8:19]
3, the high school principal report.
[8:23]
I want to focus on the ensemble.
[8:25]
We started it, it's been fabulous.
[8:29]
Kids have said, please remember, this isn't so bad.
[8:32]
I'm liking that having phones.
[8:34]
My anxiety levels are now.
[8:35]
Kids are not worried about people.
[8:38]
Their homes are busy, something.
[8:40]
And then just our numbers of high school.
[8:43]
We have three two students.
[8:45]
As the September 8th, I think I'd have three more.
[8:48]
Last week, we had 35 new students, but only 17 new.
[8:54]
Yeah. Also the energy. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I didn't have it that far.
[9:03]
So just briefly could you just do a summary of what the phone policy actually is.
[9:09]
So no phones built about 828 or 312. The phones are going to weigh a lot to their luckers. That's not seen.
[9:16]
Okay. Yeah.
[9:17]
so today we're going to go through an area of control.
[9:19]
There's a student out there.
[9:23]
Yeah.
[9:24]
That's not legal.
[9:25]
We're going to go through the area of control.
[9:27]
It's not legal.
[9:30]
Yep.
[9:32]
We're going to go through the area of control.
[9:33]
10.4 activities.
[9:34]
Let's call it the address report.
[9:37]
So on that, we're into a week three, it's really said.
[9:41]
All of our activities,
[9:43]
as for curricular community,
[9:45]
our underway as
[9:49]
far as extra curricular.
[9:50]
Go homecoming week, we'll be able to last four weeks in September, be able to act over.
[9:57]
And then, one big change that we've had this year that I've gotten a lot of positive feedback
[10:03]
is the option for people to use credit cards to pay their tickets to events,
[10:10]
having the option to buy ticket sessions with credit cards.
[10:15]
People have come from other schools, so WHA, because so many of us are using bound, are
[10:22]
finding that they like the consistency between discretionary options.
[10:27]
So that's been a positive change.
[10:30]
In convenient, our advisory council just discussed some different marketing ideas that we can do
[10:36]
to get more and more knowledge about our programs in our community.
[10:40]
And then on the assessment side, we just started the fast bridge testing today and not over the next three weeks.
[10:48]
For our elementary and middle school kids, up through their ninth grade.
[10:52]
And then in October we'll be re-screening some of those kids that we're not at grade level benchmarking literacy.
[11:01]
So we'll get this in second year of assessment.
[11:04]
Today's a question to that, that's like a change.
[11:08]
We don't have one because no one will do it or we give it to anybody.
[11:11]
Everybody is very short staff.
[11:14]
Sam, for who we are, contracted with.
[11:17]
They struggled to find someone to cover all the schools they were both.
[11:21]
So we tried to get them at least for Friday night games
[11:24]
and wrestling and possible.
[11:27]
I checked in with Park Rapids last year
[11:31]
And they were unable to help cover us because they're facing similar.
[11:36]
Last Friday night's game, I had to be there on the side of my life, but I used it not.
[11:42]
And it was brutal.
[11:43]
There was some injuries that I didn't have to pull you out of the handle.
[11:48]
Fortunately, Carnegie was in the stands.
[11:50]
And our school nurse came down to a great shop, helped with a couple of students.
[11:55]
But I just worry that some of them here have enough that we don't treat them properly.
[12:01]
We're so excited working on every week.
[12:05]
There's just nobody.
[12:07]
No, it's just a staffing issue.
[12:09]
Thank you.
[12:13]
I don't know.
[12:14]
10.5.
[12:15]
American meaning and work.
[12:17]
You know.
[12:19]
I'm sorry.
[12:19]
I don't.
[12:20]
School youth rates are the numbers.
[12:22]
They're up in the classrooms.
[12:24]
We last year.
[12:26]
Our culture and our class had both kids.
[12:29]
This year we have four.
[12:32]
We had four kids in a legit way, and we had eight.
[12:37]
And the kids in the legit way is here, so it's, it's like really looking good on hiring
[12:44]
the third one has been great, it's been really like and will not.
[12:50]
We also have a seventh grade, and the eighth grade of the way of culture class.
[12:55]
The juniors, we kept going all summer, and we have a week.
[12:58]
We have nine kids that started in the school sitting at 90 degrees in the middle of the
[13:05]
school ground.
[13:09]
We took kids to the tribal college, to finish wild rice, into 25 students on that
[13:18]
and Luke took eight kids old racing last Thursday. They did tip-knit news.
[13:27]
We lost the follow-up and put you into the house.
[13:35]
We did, we did, we made team pounds of rice.
[13:39]
And the gentleman that took them all right seem to ask great group of kids got another group
[13:46]
I can't go.
[13:47]
So I mean that's really, I'm going to be here.
[13:50]
And then lastly, we are having our healing walk in fall feasts on Sunday September 27th.
[13:57]
Everybody's invited.
[13:59]
Yeah, the walk starts at noon and we'll walk to the beach to the center and then we're
[14:06]
having a talk about following that and telling everybody's mentioned it, just kind of a social
[14:13]
gathering.
[14:20]
Yes, I just want to comment on the phone, I was concerned there would be an issue.
[14:24]
I walked into the senior high lunch, the second day of school I think was, and they weren't
[14:30]
talking to one another.
[14:32]
Every kid was engaged with other kids, so that was really fun to see.
[14:37]
Something else that's not, it was not my report, Tony, our head cook, go to farm and
[14:44]
table ground with the people who went to the service club, and he bought kind of 200 pounds
[14:51]
of wild rice, that's right. So that is our farm and table for part of that grant. So we have two
[15:00]
Moms, while the rest two served here, a student sold in the course of the year that was pre-before-by-mechanical.
[15:05]
And this year, one of the things we're doing for a busy day is the topic this year, it is wild race.
[15:13]
And the kids are going to be putting together a video, kind of like a business or a wild video.
[15:19]
To talk about the importance of wild race, and they have some tips of videos from the field check for their finishing wild race.
[15:27]
So add a video and then I'm working with Tony to put well based on the menu that caught on the mission and saved also.
[15:37]
So the video showing the fact that he's about it and then he's about to get to eat at that time.
[15:43]
And I'm working with Tony on getting a full lot and the other cool to the paper on that.
[15:51]
So that everyone knows that it's happening.
[15:53]
something unique that I had heard of in another District of Forest Island Baseball.
[15:59]
You may have seen the news that there was a murder in the past life from what the
[16:07]
most important became that did have an impact on our schools.
[16:12]
Genevieve Joe and our entire team of social workers have been busy today, helping our students
[16:21]
So I hope source will send their team in also and we're working with our kids to keep them safe.
[16:33]
And we can remember what they mean.
[16:37]
Then what was in my report?
[16:41]
So the net increase in total student was 23 when I wrote my report last Thursday.
[16:46]
I haven't looked at it in the update today.
[16:51]
Congratulations, Brad, what are you going to challenge?
[16:55]
He is the MAS, MAS, that's his association,
[16:59]
facility manager of the year.
[17:01]
We nominated him and he won it.
[17:04]
So in there you'll, if you look,
[17:08]
we'll receive that and we'll leave on October 3rd.
[17:12]
And in there I said,
[17:14]
Honestly, these are the best women that job in the neighborhood,
[17:19]
so they also approved both of our
[17:21]
experiences.
[17:21]
One to result with two hopes for residential to public and our current part of the month to extend
[17:29]
the hope to accommodate another 90 parking spaces.
[17:36]
And that was another three to one board by the past, so the bus garage is state that a lot of
[17:44]
the stress septic is reporting begin to the architects and engineers to model as well as with the
[17:53]
county that will trigger the ability to finalize the stecks and get this off so that should be
[17:59]
happening soon and I'm still here and we'll have footage in the ground before the process is on
[18:06]
That's my plan.
[18:08]
Just set up, you know what I'm talking about.
[18:09]
No, go ahead.
[18:10]
No, there was a minute behind it to make it too early to leave you a deal with the fire.
[18:18]
Yep.
[18:19]
That's no big deal.
[18:20]
There actually both stayed up there already, that they needed that for you to complete this
[18:26]
septic.
[18:26]
And then we will all be tanked out there for the runoff of the wash later.
[18:35]
So, my understanding of the process, the bits, one they got to bits, then they'll be opened at some point outside of this meeting, but then we would have proved probably a bit.
[18:48]
No, it doesn't vary in construction managers, so they're not in construction manager.
[18:53]
We hired a, so
[18:58]
general contractor, so, for example,
[19:01]
for a number of brothers, is our general contractor.
[19:04]
They're a little bit of, they've been approved by source well
[19:08]
through Korean group to have the place in the field,
[19:12]
but they'll still work to make sure they're getting the best price in cases,
[19:15]
something better than working in the field out there.
[19:17]
So those won't come to the board, they haven't been given the budget,
[19:20]
that we had approved in the referendum and if anything goes over that budget, then it will
[19:26]
come to the work for approval before we move forward.
[19:29]
But I just was concerned if we had approved a bit with that delay.
[19:33]
No, that was not.
[19:35]
It was said intentionally that way, because a long way to move our budget, I didn't think
[19:41]
And I have the time to manage the police.
[19:44]
We reached up the source, though.
[19:46]
They said, we're not a voter, we're not a voter, we're not a voter.
[19:50]
We're not a voter, we're not a voter, we're not going to say it wrong.
[19:54]
That's because of that first thing is bad.
[19:57]
We've heard the news.
[19:59]
Anyway, so yes, that's what we forward.
[20:04]
B-dipples are going out.
[20:06]
I believe
[20:12]
mailbox in the districts for every border.
[20:16]
And that was just finally proved today.
[20:18]
So we'll be going to the picture soon.
[20:22]
Our first multiple week is out of the digital sign
[20:24]
if you didn't notice, turned out really nice.
[20:26]
I thought as far as quality of the picture,
[20:31]
let's see
[20:34]
the rest is on the agenda.
[20:37]
So that's what I have.
[20:41]
Under 12, other older unfinished business, 12.1.
[20:44]
Consider picking a new day for the actual reporting.
[20:47]
It falls on the edge.
[20:48]
Apparently, falls on the edge of people
[20:53]
the following one may think he, possibly, was anybody else's.
[21:41]
I didn't remember.
[21:50]
I didn't remember.
[21:50]
Maybe quarrel about it.
[21:56]
Yes, I will.
[21:57]
Okay, I also thought about the fifth.
[21:59]
That's not a problem.
[22:01]
We ought to, I'll cut your hand.
[22:02]
On the palm.
[22:04]
That's good if this can be true.
[22:06]
It's true.
[22:06]
It's true.
[22:06]
It's true.
[22:07]
It's true.
[22:07]
We're what I think builds seem that are really kind of a threat.
[22:14]
We're just kind of big on the bills that you wouldn't see until the following board meeting.
[22:20]
I'm going to go on the top, they don't need to change it for a great chance.
[22:24]
So there's a few people who say a high volume, right?
[22:27]
So two say.
[22:29]
13.
[22:30]
No, the President?
[22:34]
The President?
[22:34]
Of the 19th, and it's a whole molecule here.
[22:37]
So, in my number three, my number one.
[22:40]
We could go for a third, a told.
[22:43]
So, I called the answer for a very high of, I think, because I, I think,
[22:45]
Oh, I think.
[22:48]
Right, C Squad and the last, that is, for the 30th.
[22:53]
Yes.
[22:53]
Loosen news? No. No. No, no.
[22:55]
Culture and the...
[22:56]
C are the four address.
[23:01]
I
[23:11]
guess we'll just think there's an 18th of some changes, I'll talk about both of these two and if they can't be here then.
[23:19]
I have reminded you as long as one person is in the room from the board, the rest of the board can participate remotely and can set up a group and they can vote.
[23:30]
So we put them on the bed issue, all we can see them.
[23:35]
So get that helps all that.
[23:37]
Just letting you know that is an option that they changed a lot
[23:40]
of last year to allow that.
[23:44]
I don't remember their team, new business.
[23:46]
Consider improving voice hockey co-operating.
[23:48]
Can I get a motion to approve the voice hockey co-operating
[23:51]
and has presented?
[23:54]
Motion by bar.
[23:55]
Can I get a second?
[23:58]
Second?
[23:58]
Second.
[23:59]
I don't see any further discussion.
[24:01]
One thing I'd like to share, I was talking to another superintendent this week,
[24:08]
and things
[24:09]
that we do every year, they put on their consent agenda.
[24:13]
And if the board of the support staff, if it's something that, you know, these agreements
[24:18]
that are in school districts and unless they change, would you just put that on the consent agenda
[24:23]
if we wouldn't need to make it this way?
[24:26]
If that doesn't look at your board, then it's just one of those things that could fit there.
[24:32]
I was in favor of say aye.
[24:34]
I was opposed same time.
[24:37]
Motion passed.
[24:38]
13.2.
[24:39]
Consider waving to second reading and adopting the following updated policies.
[24:46]
Policy 613, 621 and 749.
[24:49]
I'll give a motion two way for second reading and adopt the following policies as presented.
[24:54]
I'll make that motion.
[24:56]
Motion by Shannon.
[24:57]
Thank you.
[24:59]
Thank you very much.
[25:00]
Thank you very much.
[25:01]
Any further discussion?
[25:03]
Just a point.
[25:03]
I'll give you the one that didn't affect students in the last one the first day.
[25:08]
So I didn't bring them to you last meeting.
[25:11]
These were the other three that were out there that were more of operations.
[25:19]
All those papers say aye.
[25:21]
Aye.
[25:22]
All those photos same sign.
[25:24]
The motion is at 713.3.
[25:28]
Consider approving the following length.
[25:30]
So as we slide them, M8 plus 40, M8 plus 30,
[25:33]
KD Benjamin B8, B8 plus 10, and RTM3,
[25:38]
B8 to B8 plus 10, Kelly powers B8, B8 plus 10.
[25:41]
I get motion Q, Q, following length ranges.
[25:44]
As presented?
[25:45]
Some moves.
[25:47]
Motion by Liz.
[25:48]
Can I ask you a second?
[25:50]
I'll second.
[25:51]
Second question.
[25:52]
Any further discussion?
[25:53]
Let's put a real quick point, do it be helpful and I'll tell you what else could be
[26:01]
in me, instead of if we would put there what they do on here.
[26:06]
So it would help them when you would go through the agency to get to know more people
[26:09]
of the industry.
[26:10]
And I only know one of the people on this list.
[26:13]
It would be nice to know that.
[26:14]
What, for example, is it swamped in?
[26:17]
That's the anti-traumatic scope.
[26:19]
That's what I'm trying to do now just to know they are on the website with their position and most of their photographs
[26:26]
If you go to the staff section, do you want to work?
[26:30]
Okay.
[26:31]
Well, I was going to tell you this is one of those things that could go on the consent agenda
[26:35]
Because we do it twice a year.
[26:38]
This is just nice to know what people have done right.
[26:41]
Thank you.
[26:41]
Thank you.
[26:43]
All of the papers say aye.
[26:45]
Aye aye.
[26:46]
I will post the same sign.
[26:50]
I'm 13.4, set work session dates and times 52, I don't know whether it's January, April, and June.
[26:57]
Anybody having your recommendations for November's work session?
[27:05]
Now, I believe we did them the Monday after the board meeting.
[27:08]
I think so.
[27:09]
Last year in the year before this year, it was on M.I.N.
[27:31]
It's all the names.
[27:32]
And then REA is on that follow-up Monday on all four or four number of counting that I know of, so we have four,
[27:47]
like that same day ever.
[27:49]
I get pretty sleepy.
[27:51]
I wouldn't recommend it because
[27:55]
the do-poil we used to do every month, although they were short of work sessions.
[28:00]
So they were about to agenda none of all.
[28:02]
No, no.
[28:04]
if I have a
[28:09]
second?
[28:10]
I was going to say what about that person.
[28:15]
That will work.
[28:17]
Okay, before the beam.
[28:21]
And just five, three, a couple of minutes.
[28:27]
Okay, set it for number, second.
[28:30]
That will be five, three.
[28:32]
And the current confidence will be right.
[28:36]
Yep.
[28:38]
Okay,
[28:40]
and I'm 15.5.
[28:42]
Consider improving abs need.
[28:44]
If every time I pay a period, I mean we'll do more.
[28:47]
motion to approve the last meeting of Paris last day at 30 M1 U.S. presented for
[29:04]
the discussion.
[29:05]
This is a special case because our paras are called annual and solar paid 12 months a year.
[29:12]
This individual at their request abbreviated their weeks and the non-consistent.
[29:19]
So the transfer of that over 12 months. So we're going to pay this one for the work they do when they do it.
[29:25]
And that contractual language was not allowed to come in contractions that I do not have to be analyzed.
[29:31]
Now we're going to allow it for this and look at the negotiations as to whether we do something different altogether.
[29:39]
So that's why I'm never going to agree with this in person.
[29:44]
Although if they ever say I, those opposed to the same sign,
[29:52]
they're 16.6.
[29:54]
Consider certifying the maximum level of authority for 20.6.
[29:57]
It's a beautiful, 2027 life.
[30:00]
Now, you can motion to prove certified in the maximum level of the authority of 2020-26, able 2020-27, lovely.
[30:07]
So, what about Michael, can you get a second?
[30:13]
Any further discussion?
[30:15]
Yeah, what is the actual level of authority?
[30:19]
Kyle, like 3.2 million?
[30:24]
$3,000, $153,874.99.
[30:35]
In total, the at increase to date is 80,385 to 2.88%.
[30:47]
And just so you know that letting change just month a month as they do adjustments at MBE.
[30:52]
And when the referendums are passed the state are over in November.
[30:56]
They bring you all of them in time for those, your proposed income tax to the world before our two transactions.
[31:07]
We're saying aye.
[31:09]
Aye.
[31:10]
Aye.
[31:10]
I was the vote of same sign.
[31:12]
Motion's passed.
[31:13]
13.7.
[31:14]
Considering increasing rate of subpay for full day to 180 slash to 10.
[31:20]
We're going to give you a teacher, a half day to 95 or four of them.
[31:25]
Who could be increased rate of subpay?
[31:30]
Make a motion.
[31:31]
motion, motion.
[31:32]
Okay.
[31:32]
Second.
[31:38]
For the discussion.
[31:40]
This has not been up in the least two years, it's not free.
[31:43]
I didn't go back and look.
[31:45]
And I did hear from another, not in a neighboring district, but they went to subbed
[31:50]
in 1990, so I think it's time for us to step that up and that also make sure that our
[31:57]
places and teachers that come in and part of being paid to the level higher than our
[32:02]
care professionals.
[32:05]
I was wondering for a minute, teacher, that hasn't been a former teacher in years.
[32:08]
That's the hundred and ninety as for some real residents of former teacher, two tenement
[32:12]
they have.
[32:14]
So I am really warning most for coming back as they know our kids, they know our building
[32:18]
and our systems.
[32:19]
So that's why I did this.
[32:21]
I will pay.
[32:21]
And that was a change, a bar of one, you weren't that too between them when you were on the board.
[32:29]
The change up and I got to hear the board actually said that those numbers.
[32:34]
I think the movement did that.
[32:39]
I wasn't a favor say aye.
[32:41]
Aye.
[32:42]
All those opposed to the same sign?
[32:45]
I actually told this, I wasn't a subject, so I didn't all say anything for that.
[32:50]
Michael, you don't have to because you can make up to $20,000 and still be on the
[32:55]
more. But if you want to stay in the county, there's a field right, too.
[32:58]
Okay, all right, I'm going to stop the rounds. I'm just kidding.
[33:02]
All right, so we have pull over.
[33:08]
13.8. Consider a proven e-learning data plan. Can I get a motion to approve e-learning data
[33:14]
plan that's present to us?
[33:17]
Okay, that motion.
[33:18]
I'm going to start by part of the second.
[33:22]
Second.
[33:23]
Second by Michael.
[33:24]
Any further discussion?
[33:25]
We have any on what's happening during those two days.
[33:29]
We have a virtual work being done.
[33:31]
There's a big no thing that goes on with elementary.
[33:34]
That is the sixth grade.
[33:35]
That the high school of, we are the progress made during the first few days.
[33:41]
The first is Mari-Geele.
[33:43]
Right. I would say that school is also Mari-Geele.
[33:45]
It's a good question.
[33:46]
Mari-Geele, Mari-Geele.
[33:48]
I'm not sure if I can get the text on it, I'm just really, I'm not sure each very level
[33:54]
is there in the school?
[33:56]
The teachers are on it?
[33:58]
Yeah.
[33:58]
Teachers are on it.
[33:59]
People will be all day for kids to check in.
[34:03]
They do a class of a short class.
[34:08]
And then just, again, I was talking to another two other systems.
[34:12]
We're actually, and we can do this, gentlemen.
[34:14]
and we didn't tell you yet because I heard it today.
[34:17]
They put it in the rest of the man book,
[34:19]
so it's a program for the board at every year.
[34:22]
This has to be a group at every year.
[34:24]
We've been doing it as its own land.
[34:27]
But we put it in the man book, it can be done
[34:28]
and not have to come back to the board.
[34:30]
It's time because the board got up so it's time
[34:32]
to look for that place on the halls.
[34:35]
Option on the table.
[34:39]
Oh, was it a favor say aye?
[34:41]
Aye, aye.
[34:42]
I was a good one.
[34:43]
I was saying aye.
[34:47]
That was $15.9.
[34:48]
Consider proving MSBA resolution regarding the impact of paid polymedical leave on sick leave accrual.
[34:55]
I can motion to consider proving MSBA resolution regarding the paid polymedical leave on sick leave accrual representative.
[35:04]
I'll write that one.
[35:06]
I'll write that one.
[35:07]
I'll write that one.
[35:09]
I'll write that one.
[35:12]
Can you just say it?
[35:13]
I'll say it.
[35:15]
Any further discussion?
[35:18]
Can you explain this one?
[35:20]
Yes, this is my creation, just so you know, so remember every year the school space school board asked for recommendation to put on the legislative point.
[35:30]
They're legislative platform.
[35:32]
Okay, and as I look at paid a thousand medical leave, because you get a minimum of 12 weeks and maybe 20 weeks depending on if it's due to urgency,
[35:44]
that gets people with significant ailments, you know, have to be out of one time, it gets
[35:51]
some 60 days on the 12 weeks, and he 90 days to get to the long-term disability insurance
[35:58]
in just, so right now, and then you can propose again, and this will be a starting point
[36:06]
MSBA and that 120 days is now obsolete because if you've done 60, you need 30, not 120,
[36:19]
and there is no period over there to have sold my opinion, the legislature wasn't considering
[36:28]
the ram of the patients,
[36:31]
we could go down to school districts in general, could go with
[36:37]
out, take down a medical leave, if they would notice that we have enough sick leave to get
[36:43]
people there and a sick leave bank to get people there.
[36:47]
So now I'm suggesting that the employee, it's no longer muted that they limit the number of
[36:54]
is to 30 days of a pool in any given district where it's being placed.
[37:01]
So there's still a month based, and those are 30 working days, of course, in the 90 days
[37:07]
to monitor disability or calendar days.
[37:10]
So they would still have some left over, but they wouldn't have the carryover.
[37:15]
Now, the other thing that I've played in here, this is actual language from our master agreement,
[37:21]
You'll see that if you accumulate and I'm going to get
[37:30]
And that 120 days, 90 days, at retirement, if you've been here 25 years, would be our current nation, say, but back and on, some of that dollars a day, just up to 140 days, sorry.
[37:51]
Just for the night, just if they have 90 days left when they retired, they got out in 75 dollars per day into there.
[38:02]
And if they have more than that, they go away.
[38:06]
So that does encourage them to take the water in.
[38:09]
If they have them right, but that is my point is they don't need them.
[38:13]
And that's what I asked a month later to change.
[38:17]
You'll also see on that subdivision forward that it will be a crew of under 20 days or 15.
[38:26]
I don't know, six days accumulated after 15 years.
[38:29]
They give them $800 every year.
[38:32]
So, here are why it opens up here that it's inevitable that nearly every teacher will accumulate
[38:41]
16 days and 20 days because 8 down in medical is an annual thing.
[38:48]
So I have run this by MSPA, it has to be approved by an important order to move forward
[38:59]
in their process.
[39:01]
And I have run a few other superintendents who some of them said I didn't even think of that.
[39:07]
So this will allow the conversation to happen about how
[39:14]
people who look ahead of the impacts, sickly,
[39:18]
where we have this code.
[39:21]
Is it, it's not in statute that they can
[39:23]
encrypt to one's mind.
[39:25]
That's just the tracking on.
[39:27]
Yeah.
[39:28]
Just for general, chemical.
[39:29]
My point is, the legislature put in something that
[39:34]
took away the value of this patient fixed one
[39:37]
of now, and this is one way to fix it.
[39:43]
But I just still know I understand that the legislature has to do with it that the 120
[39:46]
essence in statute, because they negotiate the time off of them, that was they gained
[39:55]
burden groups, time off, that should have been negotiate in the country, that also they
[40:01]
They've made them 12 weeks of a family medical leave.
[40:07]
We weren't asked if we should negotiate that, it's just there.
[40:14]
I guess it's very important that we'll leave that other places, you know, to use your
[40:19]
particularly first.
[40:21]
So it should be 4K if they're going to leave kicks in?
[40:23]
No, not by all.
[40:26]
I guess it's, I mean, they're paid in the medical leave act.
[40:32]
has huge amount of issues right now.
[40:35]
They're not even paying people out.
[40:38]
You know, so I'm concerned about putting this resolution up there with a program that's probably
[40:43]
going to get reinvented anyway.
[40:45]
But just to give them an idea of how to revamp the form at least highlight one of the problems.
[40:51]
That everything that it was to the delegate of somebody lands on their platform.
[40:55]
And it doesn't stay in the mode again.
[41:00]
It'll be put in by school boards across the state.
[41:06]
This is just something that I observed when I came in,
[41:09]
that they put it on us.
[41:11]
You're exactly right.
[41:14]
And it needs rebound.
[41:15]
And it has lots.
[41:16]
When we negotiate it, we left their bank.
[41:21]
So we have record of that.
[41:22]
So that if something ever does happen this, we can pull that down.
[41:25]
Yeah, that would be my concern.
[41:27]
If we get rid of this, we're suddenly going to have a lot of people that we have been in the
[41:34]
district for a while, and we care about me.
[41:38]
But if it's being talked about the legislature, remember the legislature won't be done
[41:43]
and our contracts, all of the modern groups are up for negotiations.
[41:48]
So if this starts to see something, they can have to come to the table and we can address
[41:53]
of the negotiations and starts soon in the later so if it's
[42:03]
full.
[42:03]
That's where it came from.
[42:05]
It was my concept.
[42:07]
I pulled it together.
[42:08]
I did run on my MSBA and I ran on my MASA and some of our local superintendents who,
[42:15]
I have to be in need.
[42:27]
Some of the MSBA by next week, that will lead to the 23rd.
[42:31]
So this was the only opportunity to bring forward to the more.
[43:12]
It's the last one I'm going to present it.
[43:37]
So I won't need the availability to get in the building or stupid needs.
[45:00]
I am RDA Summit, it is November 15th through the 17th
[45:08]
or 15th amendment. Can I get a motion to adjourn?
[45:12]
I don't even think that.
[45:14]
My bar can I get a second?
[45:17]
Sorry.
[45:20]
I'm Michael.
[45:22]
I have six 13th amendment.
[45:24]
Any further discussion?
[45:27]
All the favour say aye.
[45:28]
Aye.
[45:29]
All the four same signs.
[45:32]
I mean, you need to adjourn.
[45:33]
Thank you all.
[45:37]
And he's got some signature.
