[0:45] particularly difficult year in assisting

[0:48] uh communities with their applications

[0:50] one and then two reviewing those

[0:52] applications getting those over. So I

[0:54] met with the state early last week and u

[0:57] they had to help me like go through

[0:59] review those and then I got them to just

[1:01] um send me PDFs of all those and so it's

[1:04] been kind of like all coming together at

[1:06] the last minute. So, um, apologies. Um,

[1:10] but

[1:12] we're good to go now and hopefully

[1:14] you've had some time to review and just,

[1:17] um, per usual, you know, like I've gone

[1:19] through and done, um, what I believe to

[1:21] be an accurate account of the scoring.

[4:14] thing that we want to look at here in

[4:17] this annual action plan is the goals

[4:19] page.

[4:23] which tracks how many persons and how

[4:27] many households that we plan to assist

[4:29] this year. Um the timing of this, as

[4:33] with everything else in this program, is

[4:35] not perfect. It's not aligned. These

[4:37] projects haven't happened yet. These are

[4:38] just what we hope to fund. And so, um

[4:43] they're, you know, it we're always

[4:45] putting the cart before the horse, I

[4:46] feel like, in this program. But um

[4:49] pretty good numbers this year.

[4:52] 150 households

[4:54] to be assisted and that's through Weber

[4:56] County which we'll get into our our fun

[4:58] meat of it in our next item. But and

[5:00] then 10,000 10 and a half thousand

[5:02] persons assisted. So it's pretty good

[5:06] year as far as benefits go. Um, any

[5:08] other comments or questions about the

[5:10] annual action plan

[8:09] leftover funds. So in previous years, if

[8:12] an AOG didn't spend all of their money,

[8:16] back into the state pot. So every year

[8:18] the state gets a chunk of CDBG money. It

[8:20] goes through a formula and it's sent to

[8:22] each of the seven AOGs. And in previous

[8:24] years,

[8:25] >> that money would be put back in state

[8:27] pot to be divided seven ways in that

[8:29] formula the following year. They've

[8:32] recently changed it in an attempt to

[8:34] spend all the money in that program

[8:36] year. So instead of going back into a

[8:39] pot to be divided seven ways next year,

[8:42] they are giving it away to other AOGs in

[8:46] the current year to try and spend, which

[8:48] is another big reason why we've been

[8:49] really pushing to spend all of our money

[8:51] because we don't want to share our money

[8:53] with the other. [laughter]

[8:55] But

[8:57] we're here.

[9:00] So,

[9:02] as you can see, we do run out of money

[9:05] after the one, two, three, fourth. Um,

[9:09] it looks like partial funding for a

[9:11] fourth. Um,

[9:16] in the event that there's other AOGs

[9:18] that don't spend all of their money,

[9:20] hopefully we can get our hands on some

[9:23] of that. Um, I asked, you know, how does

[9:26] that work? Is it first come, first

[9:27] served? it is a little bit convoluted

[9:30] because it is such a new policy. Um, and

[9:35] you know, they haven't received their

[9:38] money yet. So, like the long the short

[9:42] answer, the long answer that I got that

[9:44] didn't fully answer my question when I

[9:46] asked the state was that they're going

[9:48] to try to quote unquote find the money

[9:51] to fund all the projects. Um, so with

[9:56] that being said, you know, there's a

[9:58] chance that all of our projects could be

[10:01] fully funded. Um,
