[11:49] on the way over here you know the your your commitment to to service to the

[11:55] village um your your desire to be here for for each and every meeting. We were

[12:00] we were out of town last month and and I thought, man, I'm missing this meeting,

[12:04] but I know Mike Ko would be there. You know,

[12:07] » I've never missed a meeting. >> I know. I know. And that says a lot

[12:10] about your dedication. Um and you know, there's not there's not ever a good

[12:15] quote that passes me by that I don't like to use. On my favorite show,

[12:19] Yellowstone, the Cowboys, they don't say goodbye. They say till next time. So,

[12:23] till next time. Um, and Jonathan, well, I mean, even though

[12:29] we agree on styles of sweaters, I'm sure that there's there's going to be a time

[12:32] at some point that we don't agree on some vote or some topic, but but I know

[12:37] that we'll do it in a way that the past past council has done in a matter of

[12:41] respect and uh and I'm really looking forward to serving with you. Thank you.

[12:49] » Um, so again, Mike, thank you for everything. I think there's a few things

[12:54] that we've heard you say over the years that will stick and one of those that I

[12:59] I hope and I think we will is how the village built the village hall and build

[13:05] the park without borrowing money. How the fiscal

[13:10] conservatism responsibility you was taken very seriously to do the

[13:15] things that needed to be done without in death going into death to do them. And I

[13:20] do think that that's a um admirable trade and you are a big part of that um

[13:24] over the years of helping to bring you know the things to final fruition as

[13:30] they all opened I think as you were council member um with all their

[13:34] official grand openings and everything's new official grand opening of the child

[13:38] the park and the playground of the park which was a whole separate thing and um

[13:42] it's a lot to be very proud of and so we appreciate your service and everything

[13:46] that you've done for the village and we wish you off and hopefully you won't

[13:51] drive your wife.

[13:54] And well, they'll be sitting here next to you. As you will learn, um there is a

[14:00] lot of things that come that seem like they should be very simple and sometimes

[14:05] they really are not. And then there are some things that uh we really want to do

[14:10] and we just can't for one reason or another or it takes three votes and

[14:15] different months and different hearings and everything else. And all of that is

[14:18] just part of the way it is. And once you kind of accept that pace, it's a lot

[14:25] easier because we all come into it going, "Where did you go? Ready to go,

[14:29] ready to go." And then things start slowing down. But it's good. It's to

[14:34] make sure that we are very thoughtful and deliberate in our decisions.

[14:38] So, welcome.

[14:46] First, I want to thank God. Um, he he is the inspiration and hopefully he will

[14:51] guide me in the next four years. He will give me sound judgment and clear mind.

[14:56] Um, second, I want to thank my my 12 years is quite the legacy. It's going to

[14:59] be big shoes to fill. Hopefully, I do justice and honor to to to your legacy

[15:05] as I filled into the seat behind you. Um, I I want to thank the board for

[15:11] being here. Um, I' I've sat out that audience for the last couple years and I

[15:15] enjoy getting to know each one of you and learn your styles and the way that

[15:19] you debate and the way that you talk and the respect that you have amongst each

[15:22] other and I hope to add to that that we can have respectful conversations even

[15:26] when we do disagree and that we ultimately do the best things to push

[15:31] the village forward and make sure that we have the best opportunities and best

[15:34] futures for our children and future residents.
