[13:04] So this is to draw down that money and the item right after this is also related to it.

[13:12] to create a back-to-captive part of that money in to be able to draw interest on and to be able

[13:17] to use toward that construction project there at the Kansas Center. We hope to build on at least

[13:23] 100 beds to look at Kansas Center and be able to create some new revenue by keeping some

[13:29] some paying inmates. And so this is one of the larger grants that I've ever been part of and probably

[13:36] on larger grants, as far as an individual, a lot of item that the county has ever had.

[13:43] The total amount was $7.5 million, so to be able to make that expansion and pay for it,

[13:50] which state funds is a significant accomplishment for everybody involved.

[13:55] They've never been with this court, and our jailer, out in front of my own court, so it should

[14:02] We have a big project that should help the general deal with capacity issues and also revenue

[14:07] issues, and we appreciate the leadership, their framework, working with us to help solve

[14:13] the problems that we've been having, at least to improve the problems that we've been having

[14:18] there with overcrowding and financial issues there to where the kind of detention center

[14:23] would appreciate the hard work for jailers.

[14:25] He's really trying to get the place fixed up and made some significant improvements over

[14:33] the last year.

[14:36] We thank this allow us to make some more improvements, some big improvements that will

[14:41] set us up for the next decade, and so we're excited to be able to draw it on this

[20:33] But this is the annual

[20:35] Contract and I think it's required by Kentucky building code for occupancy of the building like this that you have a fire alarm

[20:42] and have it monitored. So this is the annual inspection agreement and the and the

[20:54] I think there is an auto-renupping

[20:56] section on the monitoring, but it gives 30 days where you can withdraw from it. But it just

[21:04] keeps it for relaxing or the building of the out-of-occupancy requirements from state

[22:17] I've been out there this afternoon to look at what's being constructed.

[22:21] I think they have the pits for, I think, all of these.

[22:25] But there's pretty significant increase in the filters that were required.

[22:30] I said partially because of the updraft where it doesn't have sides on it, but it comes with a pretty large increase in cost as well as about 300 yards of concrete to the building and about 30,000 pounds of steel.

[22:46] It is a three-quarter inch rebar that's being a bit and tied for those footers.

[22:54] So each footer on each of the 26 columns would be 12 by 12 by 3 foot thick with a peer

[23:02] coming up for the steel to both two that would be a foot above grade.

[23:07] And with that design, it was that change order to that cause.

[23:56] I think even with this change order and the expected cost for the fire alarm, we will have some

[24:02] wiring, costs that we haven't got exact total on yet for the lighting, but it is a 100 amp

[24:09] So it's not a large electrical service for that building.

[24:12] It's smaller than normal home.

[24:14] We're still going to be my estimate of the under $25 a square foot for this building,

[24:19] which would be very, very reasonable.

[24:29] in a big picture, we're going to be in a reasonable cost.

[28:12] these tax dollars that used to just be spent and that's part of the same budget
