[0:05]
There you go. Okay, it's okay. Yeah.
[0:09]
Yeah. Welcome. Welcome. How are you?
[0:17]
You're very
[0:24]
angry.
[0:37]
Yeah, so I don't think the M's asked.
[0:41]
Yes.
[0:45]
So.
[0:47]
More than just directly.
[0:50]
It was one second Jessica.
[0:53]
I'm here.
[0:54]
I was just suggesting.
[0:56]
Yeah.
[0:56]
Oh, to me, just honest.
[0:58]
On my MADdouble checked,
[1:00]
oh
[1:08]
my,
[1:09]
I don't understand but
[1:17]
this thing,
[1:19]
now you can see,
[1:36]
can't see us.
[1:40]
Yeah, I don't see you at all the cameras off. Yeah. And so it's the option for the
[1:46]
I will video show it.
[1:50]
I'm gonna do it.
[1:56]
Oh, see.
[1:57]
Oh, I see.
[2:02]
No, no, no, no.
[2:07]
No, no, no, no, no.
[2:09]
What do you do?
[2:11]
Keeps I believe.
[2:13]
Oh, when the minute's yellow, it's on.
[2:15]
Yeah, yeah.
[2:16]
I'm in it.
[2:19]
Oh, come on.
[2:20]
I'm sure you're at our next bill now, the positive two are ordered.
[2:28]
So now the positive is at 7.30, please call the roll, with your letter.
[2:35]
Supervisor Gail, chest rise number.
[2:37]
Here.
[2:37]
Trustee Cape-Casellant now.
[2:41]
Trustee Mark Peters.
[2:42]
Here.
[2:43]
Trustee Steven Moser, administrative share, and deputy clerk, Lerisha Pearson.
[2:48]
Here.
[2:49]
And our assessor J. Churchill here, Madam Supervisor, we have a form for business.
[2:54]
When we have trustee, Barbie trustee, Jessica Tucker, who is participating and voting
[3:00]
in this meeting.
[3:01]
Correct?
[3:04]
That's right.
[3:05]
Yeah.
[3:06]
Whatever the rules allow, I'm always confused on whether or not I vote or just can participate
[3:12]
with comments.
[3:13]
So whatever it's up to the supervisor.
[3:15]
So trustee, Jessica Tucker.
[3:17]
here.
[3:19]
President.
[3:20]
Yes, since she does qualify.
[3:23]
Yes.
[3:24]
All right.
[3:25]
We'll now stand for the flesh religions.
[3:28]
Hi, I'm Linda.
[3:29]
I applied to the unions.
[3:30]
We live live on the United States in there.
[3:34]
And the student republic for which it stands.
[3:37]
One nation under God.
[3:39]
And we've been involved with liberty.
[3:40]
And it has this for all.
[3:42]
Thank you all.
[3:44]
Supervisors record.
[3:45]
It has been a bit the last month.
[3:49]
We celebrated some of our agencies,
[3:51]
including the North Shore Senior Center,
[3:54]
at its 70th anniversary party,
[3:56]
which was a lovely shundid, a Sakha,
[4:00]
which was well attended.
[4:03]
That was a wonderful activity.
[4:05]
It's really nice to see how well the whole place
[4:07]
has been renovated since their roof issues.
[4:11]
So it all looks great and they're very active.
[4:15]
We also had joint review board meetings across the township.
[4:18]
There are two tip districts, as we discussed in our last meeting.
[4:22]
What one is proposed and what exists?
[4:24]
One is councillors, which has been an existence for some time.
[4:28]
We're reviewing the current state of the tip.
[4:33]
There has, they have come to the point now where they have engaged engineers
[4:38]
and have a certain plan, so we were able to see those plans online. They're on their
[4:41]
panoramic website. So I was excited about the turning that quarter into implementation
[4:46]
because it has been a long time coming. The JRB meeting for the proposed tip district in
[4:55]
Northfield was extremely well attended. We heard this board's instructions. We took no
[5:00]
position. The first vote was on whether to approve the Northfield town, the Northfield
[5:07]
villages as recommended that we voted, we have stained from. That was the motion that I brought
[5:16]
for the sport and had instructions for. Then, I learned an emotion to oppose the Edward Field
[5:23]
tip district where I did not have instructions and where an extension would have been an affirmative
[5:29]
a vote. So, I exit it.
[5:35]
The JRB did vote against the TIFF district. If you recall from, you know,
[5:41]
undergrad or law school, the Northfield may still establish a TIFF, but it does have a higher
[5:49]
vote threshold now. So, there were a lot of very active and concerned citizens who spoke on both
[5:57]
says it's a issue but mostly against the TIFF at that meeting and it was very interesting
[6:04]
to hear people's perspectives especially from current businesses and how it would affect.
[6:10]
I did raise the concern, I generally raised a CRB meetings which is you're going to have
[6:15]
for housing as a part of this endeavor which is one of the things that they were looking
[6:20]
for under their CLF program that would be affordable housing which was not clear from the
[6:25]
for the proposal. All right, so that was your B. We also had, I'll let Jan or Cesar talk about
[6:34]
the video, the Bouts for Review and Meeting. We, I was honored to be invited to be
[6:42]
Pakistan-American Chamber of Commerce Gala in Skokie with Mayor Biss and Clarek of
[6:50]
Evanston, Stephanie Mendoza, and it was quite an interesting program about healthcare,
[6:57]
mostly about healthcare, employment and ways to increase bilateral trade between Pakistan
[7:03]
and northern suburbs. So it was very interesting. We had also celebrated Northville villages
[7:12]
in Tunnel, so that was wonderful. That was an amazing event, but really well done. So the
[7:20]
the village work with the park district and the chamber commerce on white and
[7:24]
the bandwidth music. There was a inflatable copy or very impressive. We
[7:34]
also had a multi-chamber network and then it's here in the township that was not
[7:39]
just well met when I could have a work one co. We were still venue but also I
[7:43]
think we had a silky. We had it was really well-attended and that was at
[7:51]
So, not many networking events that I've been to that have featured in security testing,
[7:56]
but it was nice to chat with people and really talk what the temperature does and how they can support us.
[8:01]
We have Black Party in format as well.
[8:04]
Thank you to those who were able to volunteer at that table.
[8:07]
I know I had a lot of very interesting conversations with residents and able to answer their questions,
[8:14]
but what Township does is point them in the right directions.
[8:19]
J-U-S, the Jewish United Front had hosted a lovely event of elected officials across the
[8:26]
Northern suburbs, so Township Village, Park District, school boards, really everyone.
[8:34]
And it was really great to hear from people and ways that we can collaborate.
[8:39]
Today, we had a Cook County Council of Governments briefing to discuss the recent
[8:45]
whether related emergencies but also about the timing of the property tax
[8:50]
revenue and thankfully we're not in a position we have to do the loans and get
[8:54]
the bridge loan that I was thought of what the meeting was about as well in
[8:58]
discussions about obtaining road district loans which again we don't have to worry
[9:02]
about so we're nice and grateful that we get to be focused on just serving the
[9:07]
people but rather than having to deal with some of those issues but I'm glad that
[9:11]
the county was offering those loans to those who didn't need it and they did
[9:14]
say that the mass majority were school districts. We needed those loans to make payroll.
[9:21]
They also noted that the economic impact of last year's
[9:27]
ICE activities was in the billions. So as far as the government's resources and tax dollars that
[9:34]
we're missing because people wouldn't work going out to work or to shop. So there's no
[9:40]
a current indication that we'll see another increase in
[9:43]
nice activity ahead of the elections.
[9:46]
I know that a number of lecture-pression groups are
[9:49]
keeping an eye out.
[9:52]
And finally, my Girl Scouts Group painted the
[9:55]
pantry donation bin out in the alley.
[9:58]
So go take a look so that it doesn't look like a trash can.
[10:01]
And then people won't put trash in it.
[10:03]
So think you do the Wilma Public Library for help
[10:06]
them to create the detail. So take a look at that. There were certain instructions from
[10:12]
Heather to make sure we use blue, green, and white for our our our colors and our
[10:17]
brand name. But hopefully she appreciates it. Any questions for me on Supervisor's report?
[10:23]
I see. I think the senior center acknowledged the fact that they started the part of the
[10:28]
topic. They did mention that they were part of the day were rejoicing our men in what
[10:32]
at the Winnocka community center, so that was very nice to meet you.
[10:36]
I was through the town.
[10:37]
I just think everyone, you know, that Jan and I were speaking to Duncan.
[10:40]
Wonderful.
[10:41]
Yeah.
[10:42]
Yes.
[10:44]
We'll back at the event, if you post it at the payboard there.
[10:48]
What kind of questions did you get as far as town trip really good?
[10:50]
Yes.
[10:51]
And one guy who asked me about the, what's it called?
[10:55]
Power's a cherry.
[10:56]
A lot of work just in passports.
[10:59]
Let's see.
[10:59]
I had a couple people ask about candy cat lakers, but mostly, you know, there were kids,
[11:06]
we were handing out the monitor, but if I see it's obviously, and then I used, yeah, to say,
[11:11]
oh, and come on by, we're the three children tree, so then they would, yeah, we were talking
[11:14]
about what kind of foods people wanted, right?
[11:18]
So, if you need it or you want to drop off, right?
[11:21]
That's there.
[11:22]
So, I do tend to start with that because I think that's the most tangible for children.
[11:29]
It's the boot.
[11:30]
So, the jewelry service.
[11:32]
We got you guys.
[11:33]
I know they're services.
[11:34]
Because we got some plots on you know kind of tables just ways off.
[11:38]
And we're like, oh, and they realize what kind of things can you know.
[11:40]
It's just.
[11:41]
Exactly.
[11:42]
That's not how to say it.
[11:43]
Well, awesome. That's great.
[11:44]
I love all the outreach you're doing.
[11:46]
It's amazing.
[11:46]
I don't know where you at the time, but.
[11:48]
Well, thanks everybody for help.
[11:49]
This was a busy month.
[11:51]
I'm sure we'll have more.
[11:54]
Approval of the minutes.
[11:55]
August 11th, 26th.
[11:56]
of trustees meeting minutes are in your board packet?
[12:00]
Is there a motion to approve?
[12:02]
So?
[12:02]
If there's a second?
[12:04]
Second.
[12:05]
Is there any discussion?
[12:06]
Yep, that would be great.
[12:08]
I have a question.
[12:09]
Well, first let's go on, sorry, good case.
[12:12]
Something is going on with some spacing after sessions,
[12:16]
Route 67, and at the end of 11 a,
[12:27]
just before 12 a and at the end of 13. Thank you for that out and that was certainly.
[12:34]
Thank you for finding that. It's really challenging. I'm trying to focus on all the things.
[12:39]
So I will make new efforts to fix those things. Well, but I'm in the midst of the carrot emergency.
[12:46]
Both of them had to come out again. I can't see anything. I can't fight a whole set of things.
[12:50]
I look for it. I can't fight. It is right. I thank you for finding that.
[12:54]
Yeah, and then at the end of 11 a it's think that you meant to move the motion. Yes, you're probably the user B.
[13:07]
Yeah, but then other than that, I didn't. Yeah.
[13:13]
I was just curious, your verification claim section is kind of a hybrid between the last two.
[13:21]
And my own question is, is that sufficient to comply with what we need to be doing for a
[13:28]
person under what becomes pulled up and etc.
[13:32]
So, is that enough?
[13:34]
You tell.
[13:34]
Always more than what we had before and it's a little less than we had now.
[13:38]
Yeah.
[13:38]
That's all I say.
[13:39]
I guess I grew up in for whatever you guys think would be there.
[13:42]
Well, that's the gutter because the wrong can't see.
[13:45]
So, Steve might not have known the extent of what is needed.
[13:49]
he just was trying to categorize everything but push the wrong way to that. My question
[13:55]
is really enough, I don't know. So what do you think? I mean, well, you may talk to you
[14:01]
because it's more but not as much. I was thinking maybe reference back to the actual
[14:15]
Yeah, I would just attach to make sure it's attached, right?
[14:23]
Yeah,
[14:28]
I mean, I would just say if you're working with the auditors now for this year's
[14:31]
report, check in with them, and because they were the ones that suggest that we needed
[14:36]
to put more details into our minutes as to our monthly expenditures and make that very
[14:42]
transparent.
[14:43]
So, in greater than guessing what we should be including, maybe check with them and see
[14:48]
if this is sufficient, if not, let's say I have one more thing on the minutes if-
[14:58]
Yes, please.
[15:00]
Okay, thank you. Well, I think, you know, so August 11th was kind of the sunset of the Peer jury program. And I did have to make a brief report on it that, you know, I did. There were no partners that came forward since Brian Levin's who had founded the program years ago, had suspended it last year or last fall. So I don't know if we want to have a note on that in minutes. Yeah, it's not in there at all.
[15:29]
You know, that's okay. I just think that's very important. I will add, I get a October
[15:36]
of birth, if not earlier, and I, okay, there's a lot of research that will be answered.
[15:40]
It's impossible for me to do typing now. It's just, you know, that's fine.
[15:47]
I think we should just have that clarified in the, in the minutes.
[15:50]
It was going to sunset.
[15:54]
Sorry, I dropped it out of there.
[15:56]
no, it's just a very...
[15:57]
No, it's not here, sir.
[15:58]
Two minor things, number five,
[16:00]
a full minute, just my last name, Spelling,
[16:03]
and then number seven verification to claim,
[16:05]
just that I seconded a motion.
[16:08]
Okay, shoot.
[16:10]
Under the verification.
[16:12]
Yeah,
[16:17]
second motion.
[16:18]
And it's fairly molested, I'm fine.
[16:20]
And much in which item?
[16:21]
I'm five spelling.
[16:23]
Okay, five.
[16:23]
Yeah, minor.
[16:24]
I feel it's important.
[16:26]
Any additional discussion?
[16:34]
All those in favor of approving the August 11, 2026 meeting minutes, as amended, please
[16:41]
say aye.
[16:42]
Any opposed?
[16:44]
Seeing none.
[16:45]
Okay.
[16:48]
Clerk's report.
[16:49]
Okay.
[16:51]
Good evening, Board.
[16:52]
I have a few things to say and I prepared them.
[16:54]
First of all, I had a very interesting day here today.
[16:57]
It was very bustling around the township, and I know you've all come in a very
[17:02]
time to get up this time. It's fascinating to see how many people come in,
[17:06]
including somebody who need a charity for the food venture. So I just
[17:10]
impressed with how much is going on and see the staff in action. I also
[17:14]
impressed always with Jan and Mike. In fact, I had a visitor today due to Jan and Mike's
[17:20]
office as he was waiting for his appointment. He engaged me, and we talked for more
[17:26]
than half an hour or so. I had a visitor day for the clerks meeting. He was very interested
[17:31]
in the local government and was very pleased to go through a functioning town trip with him,
[17:37]
etc.
[17:40]
And it was just nice to see how much they support residents. Okay. I also had a boarder
[17:48]
calling today. It was kind of neat to read the class on the information and thanks to the courier
[17:54]
and the way it's so neatly done here is, you know, all residents, some people just need to
[17:59]
step through it and they want to know where they can go, and that we do have early voting,
[18:04]
and then he guesses it when two weeks. I mean, I guess when you're, you know,
[18:07]
sitting around wanting to know, so many changes to voting. But I love it. The clerk's corner here
[18:12]
addresses the most unique concern, which is voting and registration, things that we've done now.
[18:17]
So that would please you to be able to call her. I attended the top board meeting in Lama
[18:22]
which is a haul. And it's a thrill because I serve on that board with Gale, Anjian,
[18:29]
and it's really nice and it's but also a treat for us to go to other town halls and see
[18:37]
what they have. And it's kind of fully arrangement of that and the furniture and the style and stuff.
[18:44]
So it's really neat. I'm always learning and we're always learning when we serve on those boards.
[18:48]
And I think in the future, I'm going to share with you the minutes just so you can get
[18:51]
a vibe.
[18:51]
But all the things are going on, and we're kind of like a united effort.
[18:57]
I attended the clerks' association meeting, and I was in Flossmore, on a rich shelter,
[19:01]
another hall.
[19:02]
So I put in a lot of miles for the township, but it was well worth it because it clerks as
[19:07]
always to interesting and fun things.
[19:10]
So at our meeting, we devoted a part of it to honoring our deputy clerks, including the
[19:15]
Richard Pearson, the Richard portion couldn't make it, but they prepared a really lovely
[19:19]
certificate. It's a very nice thing to get. And they gave the Richard a booty bag. Oh,
[19:26]
that's sort of stuff. All sorts of things, but yes. I mean, if you see Richard's
[19:33]
talent chips, that'll fall over. Yes. There's a lot of it. Not a sequel, but they
[19:38]
It's really nice.
[19:39]
It's bad.
[19:40]
Something we might want to consider, it's very nice.
[19:44]
And then the other thing is because they remind they talk about all the details surrounding
[19:49]
the deputy clerk.
[19:50]
So I didn't have the pleasure of nominating and appointing, and the term, a luresha appears
[19:57]
in luresha.
[19:58]
I've invited luresha to serve again in that path because it's been a year since her initial
[20:03]
designation and she agreed.
[20:05]
So thankfully the reach is willing to serve the country, but it has to be agreed upon by our supervisor and then presented to the board for an official vote next month meeting.
[20:15]
I'm presenting to you now so you know the other heads up if anyone has any question about it.
[20:19]
It's but it's quite an honor and I do want to just say one thing before we vote next month that thanks guys and the ratio is appointed to be clear before because she swore me in.
[20:30]
I did the first set of minutes and then I stroked out not indefinitely, but I stroked out
[20:34]
in the reach one of a few minutes.
[20:36]
I was six months, you never want to repeat that.
[20:39]
But so the very same day of the minutes and that was, wow, so I'd like you to consider
[20:43]
her, Gail, I think, good sense, but I should know, be favorable and pleased with that.
[20:49]
And then we'll square her in the next month.
[20:52]
And then I mentioned already, anyone have any cultural relation,
[20:55]
turned into the courier?
[20:57]
What a nice way.
[20:57]
But the way of other poor behavior was terrific.
[21:01]
And let's see, is that mine?
[21:04]
And that is my report.
[21:08]
And I'm just pleased that we have a visitor tonight.
[21:12]
And Ms. Josie, we're really pleased to see you again.
[21:14]
I know you've met with supervisor.
[21:16]
You met with me at the hour trip.
[21:20]
Why were you trying to get both?
[21:23]
You're already pressing it.
[21:24]
You would buy it, how many years?
[21:26]
We're drafting you, aren't you?
[21:30]
Thank you.
[21:32]
Any questions for the clerk?
[21:35]
Seeing none, financial report.
[21:37]
James, I will make you the post.
[21:44]
Perfect.
[21:45]
Good evening, everyone.
[21:46]
All right.
[21:47]
So tonight, I'm going to share my screen and then we will walk through the 6-month-send of
[21:52]
August 31.
[21:53]
So we're at the halfway point in terms of our fiscal year.
[21:56]
You can see we did collect 50% of our tax money on the first installment.
[22:00]
The second installment, I know I got my bill.
[22:03]
So I'm going to share my screen and then we will walk through the 6-month-send of August 31.
[22:03]
that should be coming hopefully around the corner sometime in October. About 1.9 million
[22:08]
today takes us to 50% of the property tax budget. Placement taxes, again these come in about
[22:13]
every other months from the state of Illinois. That's the business tax at 58% again 50% of the way through
[22:18]
the year. That looks good. Interest that's going to outperform the budget for the year already 45,000
[22:24]
collected there. No, no read on the Fed in terms of what they're going to do at the next meeting.
[22:29]
but they have held the line and not raised rates.
[22:33]
I know we got a good employment number,
[22:34]
but inflation is still pretty hot.
[22:36]
So they may look to raise a quarter basis point
[22:40]
if anything next meeting possibly.
[22:43]
Passport fees, that also looks good.
[22:45]
24,000 collected, we're at 80% of that budget
[22:47]
and at 100% of other income brings us just under 2 million.
[22:52]
3.9 million is the budget,
[22:54]
so we're at 51% through six months.
[22:57]
The expenditure side, again, a lot of green here.
[23:00]
We do have some timing differences of escalating or skewing the percentage slightly to 139,000
[23:07]
for contractual services.
[23:09]
Again, on a budget of 243, we're at 57 percent.
[23:12]
Some other expenses, really small numbers here, 4200 spent, skews it to about 65 percent
[23:18]
and then we're 1 percent higher on personnel based on just timing of pay rules.
[23:22]
But all in, 1.4 million spent.
[23:24]
We're north of 4 million for the budget. So we're at 34% and 33 and 36% respectively across town and GA.
[23:32]
So all of that produces a nice surplus, again, six months in of about 580,000.
[23:38]
And again, we started with about 2.9 million bringing us to about 3.5 million in ending fund
[23:43]
balance. And again, you know, that strong fund balance position is what allows us not to have to
[23:48]
worry about delays from Crow County. It also will help us fund projects down the road. So again,
[23:54]
And that's kudos to the board.
[23:56]
And remember, we adjusted these two.
[23:58]
We're bringing GA down, increasing town.
[24:01]
Both of those strategies working for us,
[24:05]
trying to look into avoid tax objection,
[24:07]
but also make sure we have adequate fund balances
[24:09]
to carry us from tax payment to tax payment.
[24:13]
And here I'll just note that, so this is ending August.
[24:17]
And I did just sign the child care.
[24:19]
And if I'm already out here for,
[24:21]
as you would have seen in non-choose reports,
[24:24]
so that number will change and be almost the entirety.
[24:28]
Shortly, some of you.
[24:31]
In terms of distribution,
[24:33]
Texas always lead the way at 95% of placement text,
[24:35]
almost two interest to passport fees one,
[24:38]
other income point one.
[24:40]
Then on the expenditure side agency programming
[24:42]
at 44% again, you're gonna see that go up next month.
[24:45]
Childcare services at 4% of projects
[24:47]
to contractual 10 office supplies, point three.
[24:50]
Assessor 2, Billing Town Hall, 4.5, financial assistance, 10, pantry 3, personnel 19,
[24:57]
elected officials 2.
[25:00]
Again, revenues over expenditure, we talked about it to the tune of about half a million.
[25:05]
And then as you kind of go down, you can kind of see the various detail behind the accounts
[25:08]
and get a lot of this skewed, based on timing and when that money goes out the door, we talked
[25:13]
about the agencies having another round go out shortly, and then again our summer camps
[25:19]
that was in at 53% and then some of the contractual spend back to school supplies at 73.
[25:27]
Some of these other that are we've already spent the civic clerk and audio and doc access.
[25:31]
So those have been spent at 100% for the year, year to day.
[25:36]
I'm outside of it and I'm going to bring us to our investment report.
[25:42]
Again, good numbers.
[25:44]
the rates came down slightly, BMO now, just under 2% on there.
[25:50]
What they consider their savings account, so you see we've done some reallocation.
[25:54]
We've put more money back into our Schwab, that's where we're seeing really the best performance,
[25:58]
as well as the Illinois funds. So we're still continuing to diversify.
[26:02]
We've got our laddered portfolio approach with Schwab, and those rates are north of 3.5%.
[26:08]
So again, we've done a nice job. You see that in the investment number.
[26:11]
and again, no need for warrants as we wait on tax money.
[26:15]
So again, everything's pretty much working
[26:17]
in terms of the finances year to date so far.
[26:21]
I don't know if anything else for the board tonight.
[26:23]
I'd be happy to take any additional questions,
[26:26]
but I'll leave the warrants up for approval.
[26:29]
Any questions for James?
[26:32]
Five submissions.
[26:34]
Right on them.
[26:34]
But down at the end of the page,
[26:36]
well of 93 or six of nine to kind of,
[26:39]
Let me know the summer camp scholarships and the BAF school supplies. Are we fully paid out on all of these things at this time?
[26:47]
I would expect but it's the numbers are just a lot lower than I think I would have expected.
[26:56]
And I just I did a challenge. We have anything.
[27:00]
I'm sorry. Say again summer camp scholarships. Summer camp is at 53. I think we didn't have that. We didn't have the applicant.
[27:08]
Yeah, yeah, we so we've gone to a 75 percent payment rates right of at the qualified applicants on that the cost area of the card was
[27:19]
Yes, so that that's just something that I guess might inform our future budget. Yeah, and in the back to school supplies, you know,
[27:29]
under 75% errors to spoke for four or five lines down from the release.
[27:35]
Yes, we were a few reduced from last year.
[27:40]
It's not even.
[27:41]
Yeah, it's not free or reduced.
[27:43]
But I'm concerned that part of that is because through reduced lunch is determined by the other programs.
[27:49]
And the other programs were created and issues.
[27:51]
So, we do get those lists from the school and we don't do our own independent area.
[28:00]
Yeah.
[28:02]
With 399, yes, there.
[28:05]
At the very bottom of that page, second to last line, HR services.
[28:09]
We're looking around that.
[28:10]
Just not to make sure we're all okay.
[28:14]
We will triple check that one.
[28:16]
HR services.
[28:27]
Page 20s.
[28:27]
Yeah, yeah, yeah, 22 of 93.
[28:31]
Um, we've got an unclear chapter of February.
[28:35]
I'm assuming the best out of this point, but I know that that's been like the vein of
[28:40]
fear and systems situation. Absolutely. Um, I think that James fixed that, but I did not want to
[28:46]
sometimes avoid it on my end, but it's not pulling up on the, um, report. I think that James fixed that,
[28:53]
I don't go in and publish the board,
[28:56]
apparently I'm publishing in because then it's going to be not
[28:59]
a cry everybody out of the working get.
[29:01]
So that I'll throw it up with James the other day.
[29:05]
So that should be the last one.
[29:07]
Oh yeah.
[29:07]
Yes, it's weighted.
[29:08]
Yeah, yeah.
[29:09]
OK.
[29:09]
And then page 29.
[29:13]
Again, we have the two that are like long outstanding from like,
[29:16]
it's all nice.
[29:17]
is 29 to reach.
[29:23]
quarter of the pen.
[29:24]
X.
[29:27]
9.6.
[29:28]
94 96 E7, whether the fees are not super high numbers, I just as we'll clear things up,
[29:37]
I just want to make sure that it's on pitch 29.
[29:45]
Is it the email chat?
[29:46]
I see it.
[29:47]
I want to say sometimes if these are genius chairs and they're supposed to be boy, I think
[29:52]
that's the reason why I'm, so I'll have to check in with her about the, um, but,
[29:59]
um,
[30:00]
I think I remember from a conversation between that it's going to be doesn't take our checks when we're trying to pay them for clients. But I know which I understand because I mean a lot of people bounce tricks. So I guess that they want some kind of shifts. Yeah. So. All right. Cool. That's all. Thank you. Thank you. Yeah. I just concur with Trustee McNally. I had a couple of questions, too, on the HR services that seems really out of proportion. Right.
[30:28]
was going on there and a couple of the others on the checks and things that she
[30:31]
had rated. So thank you for that for bringing that forth.
[30:35]
Yes, we will make sure because that's a contractual service, so there shouldn't be a
[30:39]
standard surprise.
[30:45]
It's 9.6.7.4. And 9.6.8.7.
[30:52]
Okay, Trustee Moser?
[30:54]
I would like to go around.
[31:02]
I
[31:05]
would like to move to ratify the expenses from the town fund and general assistance
[31:13]
fund for the period of August 1st to August 31st, 2026, as presented in the Board of
[31:20]
Seeming on September 8, 2026, and include in the minister a summary of the financial debt
[31:29]
that we cited in the financial report to see.
[31:32]
Is there a second?
[31:35]
A few papers in seconds.
[31:36]
Mr. Clerk, please call the roll.
[31:39]
To Roger, Igever.
[31:41]
Yes.
[31:41]
Trustee McNally.
[31:42]
Yes.
[31:44]
Trustee Peterson.
[31:45]
Yes.
[31:46]
Trustee Mojure and Trustee Tucker.
[31:50]
Yes.
[31:52]
For example, thank you, James.
[31:55]
We also have our investment report in our packet
[31:57]
If anyone has any other questions, feel free to let me know
[32:02]
and I'll ask them once you are investing.
[32:04]
So we should be hearing them from back out shortly.
[32:06]
They're normally recharging me.
[32:08]
Yes, they'd be supportive of them.
[32:10]
As you saw in the report, the door to the bill.
[32:13]
All right, assessors report, assessors church, well.
[32:16]
Yes, thank you.
[32:17]
Before I, my report, I'd like to mention this concerning
[32:22]
in a rough field with SIFT, it took a resident at the trustees meeting a couple of weeks
[32:31]
ago, literally referring to the statute to inform the trustees that they have not followed
[32:36]
legal procedures and have been notifying all the parties for setting up the TIFT.
[32:43]
So they last week, the president of the trustees sent out, and you probably, that's one of the
[32:50]
because I'm mentioning that because you probably didn't get that you just sent an email, I think,
[32:54]
saying that they are delaying, delaying delaying the final vote to get more time for people to come
[33:03]
together.
[33:06]
And I sort of, this is my own personal opinion on the subject, is that if they couldn't
[33:13]
even get it off the ground right, I'm not entirely convinced they are the right people,
[33:16]
there's such a project ahead, but if you would like to have that email just for your record
[33:23]
mail, I'd be happy to send it to you, okay, I will do that. So then my report, my report
[33:30]
was mostly around one point, which is that we closed for a few last September 1st. And
[33:36]
it was, it was actually, it was, it was a very busy month.
[33:42]
I think some part, the fact
[33:44]
that the 2025 tax bills, well, they came out at the same time, and when we've been open
[33:51]
about 10 days, and we started getting calls from people who we always got them. I had
[33:59]
gone actually, but this was an email the day after we closed, saying, I just got my
[34:07]
tax bill in the mail, and we just closed for appeals. How is this fair? You explained that.
[34:12]
And I said, yes, actually I can your tax bill is for 2025 and your repeals for 2026 you'll see that
[34:19]
resolved 2027 and I wanted to say I got more questions but I didn't but we did we did get a lot of
[34:28]
people who were totally confused. I thought we were just open for repeals and I'm just looking at this
[34:32]
awful little tax bill. So we had a a flurry of content at what's the word I want not
[34:40]
configuration, the one, the conflation, a conflation with people complaining, the two issues pretty
[34:47]
seriously, and it just, it makes everything a little busier and crazier for a while.
[34:52]
And it's great that you're, you're a part of it, it's a result of what's, you know, what a bonus
[34:57]
to you. And I keep feeling there can't be anybody who doesn't know the answer as you tear up on
[35:01]
yourself, some debris in there, whatever, who just do not have it at all. But all in all, and I was,
[35:09]
actually I was surprised at the number of people who were not who appealed. The number of appeals
[35:17]
was actually the same pretty much. But for a second year, but the number of people who were
[35:23]
still confused about what they were doing surprised me. And one of the reasons I think there were
[35:30]
a number of appeals was because people were worried about the tax bills which they did not have
[35:36]
Yeah, and when we did open the board of review event on August 17th produced and we had about 60 people. I think this is according to the board's statistics are wrong.
[35:49]
And that is really about what I would expect further outreach event during a Friday or year, the second year is really about half that somewhere in there. So again, the concern about the amount of the tax bills, what the tax bills might come to.
[36:04]
when how they would affect the need to appeal going forward was very high this year.
[36:12]
And the Q&A that Mike and I held the following week on the 26th, we had over 20 people.
[36:18]
And last year during reassessment period, which was the first time he's done a Q&A as opposed
[36:21]
to an outreach event of our own.
[36:24]
But we had maybe a dozen or so, which was fine, maybe 15, but this time we get between
[36:30]
20 and 20, but so what I like having I like the word to get out about that because it's just
[36:38]
people come in and they ask their questions their way and that way I can answer their way rather
[36:46]
than giving them a can presentation about what happens when and so forth which they may or may not
[36:51]
take in in any meaningful fashion and that is the end of my report. Thank you.
[36:58]
I want to commend Jan and her team's efforts.
[37:03]
I heard from other residents that went through the field process and you guys couldn't
[37:08]
be more patient and people were very grateful for your help but assistance and they knew
[37:13]
you were slammed but you came through for a lot of people so you'd be here to be convened
[37:19]
for that in college.
[37:20]
It's an intense 30 days but it's only more than 30 days, it's not 12, 30 days a period
[37:28]
So I'm going to answer something like that, but thank you.
[37:30]
And Trustee Tucker was able to attend Ms. Mace.
[37:32]
And then, as well, we have a leader.
[37:35]
Leader Gable was there as well as I was there.
[37:38]
Right.
[37:39]
Right.
[37:39]
Right.
[37:39]
Right.
[37:40]
Right.
[37:42]
Right.
[37:42]
and so well attended.
[37:45]
So thank you, public comment, Linda.
[37:48]
So we have reached out to coming up this week.
[37:51]
We have been actively visiting all
[37:56]
of our religious forces of portion, both across all
[38:02]
of our different religious denominations.
[38:06]
And we will continue to make sure that we're being seen.
[38:09]
And, you know, there's people, the government are going into the location, and actually
[38:14]
talking to people, making sure that they're seeing, you know, and answering any questions
[38:22]
and just we're working very closely with all of our law enforcement partners to make sure
[38:28]
that somebody's filtering through there as the days, those activities, because many of
[38:34]
the locations where I have a very, very high number of people coming. So please don't
[38:41]
be alarmed if you see us. If anybody is traveling over by a north road of
[38:46]
technique and sanders, there is construction there, and you can't turn left off
[38:52]
of, I believe, the sanders. I've had people that are turning,
[38:58]
evenly doing new turns. Yes, the left turn lane is blocked, and all the western
[39:03]
on drag, we need to make a right, which they don't want to do. So if you're going over
[39:07]
there, please don't make it up. We're going to help you make sure you don't do that again.
[39:12]
That's because it's going to cause an accident. And though, especially as the fall starts coming
[39:22]
in, we're going to start moving from direct enforcement into speed enforcement to slow the cars
[39:26]
down because I'm moving from the first snow fall.
[39:28]
So we, we're trying to stay on top of these things to help people pay attention when they try for a nice way of saying it distracted driving is a bit of a grouting.
[39:42]
So those are those are the things that we've been working on. We just, we also have an outstanding bus down and made fellowship on the 13th.
[39:48]
The 23rd officer is over there, so we've been making all of the rounds for all of the events that have been going on.
[40:02]
We did it. We did another gaming burglary.
[40:05]
They, the, these folks are the one gaining either one at 602, Greenwood, you know, over in
[40:15]
Yorkville, township, there were 10 people that got out of their car and they'd rather
[40:18]
have placed them less than 90 seconds.
[40:21]
Wow.
[40:21]
So, yeah, we are not chasing them, they did, they hit another gaining location this morning
[40:27]
after 7 a.m.
[40:29]
And certainly the gaining locations, but as long as you're slotted, you know, they're
[40:34]
or poker. The video poker is not like that. So we are diligently monitoring and trying to give our cards moving. So please don't be surprised if you see our cards in the area and you know they're constantly moving because I'm trying to do everything I can to make it so that none of the clubs get hurt for any of that. So those are kind of things that I'm trying to stand top of.
[41:00]
And you haven't had, we are expecting some more rain, so I know I can't do the number
[41:05]
for highway department.
[41:08]
Yeah.
[41:08]
Any event that the trees come out and we start having some water.
[41:11]
So it's about all why you're going on.
[41:15]
We've had a lot of constituent questions related to black families.
[41:19]
Such as, it does cook county use, the sheriff's department use them in the non-incorporate area.
[41:25]
Yes.
[41:26]
And as they are not streaming cameras, the only thing we use them for in like this morning
[41:30]
when we had a gaming burglary, we used those cameras to try and track that car and it appeared
[41:36]
that we looked at it.
[41:39]
So we are very, very careful.
[41:43]
We use case report numbers when we go in there, we're not, we use those for I have a missing
[41:52]
adult.
[41:53]
She got a car.
[41:53]
Where was the car? You know, this is the plate. These are the places that went.
[41:59]
We had a case last year about this time of the year and it was an older person who got
[42:04]
in their department and they got lost. And they were all the way. They were from up here.
[42:08]
They were all the way out in Romeoville. Yes. At Lewis University, they had the car
[42:14]
competing in the camera. Tyler, we called somebody called the college and the guy found the guy
[42:18]
sitting in the lot. So it was and he's like, I can't figure out how to get back on the
[42:22]
Pressway, no idea, he was even in Romanova, in Barbarco, in Romanova, where that is.
[42:28]
So those cameras help us try and find people to get lost, you know, solve crusts.
[42:35]
We're not using those two surveil people, they are not streaming cameras, they are not
[42:39]
surveilling people.
[42:41]
I've heard of this deflock movement.
[42:43]
We had a young man who decided that he would follow the deflock movement and decided to
[42:47]
rises, but I can use a saws all too cut down on the cameras. You cut out a bunch of them
[42:52]
in the heart bridge and in miles and a couple of hours. Key, no, understands you probably
[42:57]
should do it.
[42:58]
I understand.
[42:59]
Yes.
[42:59]
Oh, it's an event.
[43:01]
Speaking of law enforcement, is there a reminder to the board and the general public that
[43:04]
Wernacca has announced that they are doing more enforcement in front of our building,
[43:10]
one of our chemistry claims. That one out the hard way. The line spot next to a handicap
[43:17]
camp spot is still illegal. Very much then for them to get out. She called it the hazard spot.
[43:24]
It's like no, no. And we're glad that they are enforcing obviously because we've had a lot of
[43:31]
client concerns about lack of parking. I'm very excited to finally get the parking back across
[43:37]
the street as well as underneath. So the overall thing that we're doing as a sure is in office is we're
[43:45]
doing an initiative to keep people from driving in the shoulder.
[43:48]
Because people don't believe that there's an extra limit of traffic.
[43:52]
Is that true? Please don't drive in the shoulder. There's multiple reasons.
[43:56]
First of all, people, if there's emergency traffic, you can't get out that way.
[44:01]
The biggest thing is, when you start driving on the shoulder, that's where all the junk crops are.
[44:06]
You're not going to get one flat tire. You're probably going to get two or three
[44:10]
from the metal that comes off of things and all these things.
[44:12]
and all the debris that ends up over there.
[44:15]
I understand that people are running late.
[44:17]
Please call.
[44:17]
I'm saying I'm going to be late.
[44:20]
If we see you, we will stop you.
[44:24]
They have had truck and traffic has been up here
[44:26]
to stop people from driving on each truck
[44:28]
with and on those the shoulder.
[44:32]
It is dangerous.
[44:33]
You will cause an accident.
[44:34]
People get startled.
[44:35]
Yeah.
[44:36]
They, it is a problem.
[44:41]
Absolutely.
[44:41]
Yes.
[44:42]
Yes.
[44:42]
We have any involvement in that, you buy?
[44:44]
I do.
[44:45]
I own that.
[44:47]
So, here's the issue.
[44:49]
Okay.
[44:49]
They are not the road.
[44:51]
Okay.
[44:51]
Let us all.
[44:52]
You know, we had an incident down in May and Township.
[44:55]
Somebody flagged out one of my officers.
[44:57]
It was a little tight.
[44:58]
And so this guy's laying beside the...
[45:00]
He was trying that thing in the middle of Milwaukee, Adam. Okay. He did not give you by a car. I'm suspecting he was a valid driver. I'm suspecting that he bought that he buy her this, this, this word to offset cost gas. And no helmet, no, nothing. It looked like he probably would be blown out and ate the curve and never woke up. We went to the hospital for four days on a road, trying to see if we could talk to him. He said he's stable and everything else. They shipped him to a rehab facility.
[45:29]
So let me, unfortunately, let me pass away.
[45:33]
Those, I understand they'd be a lure of them,
[45:36]
but I look at them as the mini bikes of the 1970s.
[45:42]
Okay?
[45:42]
They're much more dangerous, actually.
[45:44]
Yeah, they actually are,
[45:45]
because they've got to go fast.
[45:47]
You can't hear them.
[45:49]
They go very, very fast.
[45:51]
And you don't realize,
[45:53]
I mean, would you drive your car
[45:54]
at 30 miles an hour with the door open?
[45:58]
No, but you're going to get on this footer in right away, and I've seen people, I've seen
[46:03]
the kids riding a couple of them, a lot of the towns are outlawing them, there are provisions,
[46:09]
you know, they can't be, I think they're now, the original ones going to be 14, they're 15.
[46:14]
You know exactly if we stop somebody, what are they going to say? 15.
[46:17]
You know, do we write the parent that will make you really happy if I came over your house and
[46:21]
review it to get for something you told your kids not to do it, right? So they think they're
[46:27]
problematic, because they do go so fast, you can't hear them. We're leading for the law to kind
[46:35]
of catch up a lot of times about a lot in dump ordinances. We're still leading for Cook County
[46:40]
as we all know, sometimes it's actually really, and we're waiting for them to catch up on it as well.
[46:46]
You know, but again, if they're going to say you got to have insurance and everything else,
[46:50]
you know, these kids, these parents have already bought these things.
[46:53]
We have, well, the class that the schools are terrible.
[46:57]
It's taking me another 10 to 15 minutes just to pick my kid up because of the kids weaving in and out.
[47:04]
So they do a lot of the school, they're now like, oh, well, they're telling you I can't bring them to school.
[47:09]
And it leads us to the other thing over to the school board meeting.
[47:11]
And there's going to be a new law that's coming in July about electronic devices.
[47:18]
Yes, they're not going to be a lot of the schools, right? They're working on plans. Most of the township jobs are going to be out of the way.
[47:25]
But yes, that counts me as statewide.
[47:28]
I just want to be able to watch as other big problems because they're usually into practice.
[47:33]
Yeah.
[47:34]
Yeah.
[47:34]
Yeah.
[47:34]
Yeah.
[47:35]
Where's the answer?
[47:36]
What's the answer?
[47:37]
All right.
[47:38]
G-Day.
[47:39]
Any visual public comment?
[47:41]
Why are you laughing?
[47:44]
No.
[47:44]
No.
[47:45]
No.
[47:45]
It's an error.
[47:45]
They use the most things that you have.
[47:47]
Oh, it's the irrigation at the township.
[47:49]
My, my favorite one thing that one kid said.
[47:51]
The one teacher said.
[47:53]
So on high school, you can't, you got to turn in your phone.
[47:55]
Right.
[47:56]
So now they've just gotten two.
[47:57]
Now you can have this one.
[47:58]
This one's my error.
[47:59]
Yes.
[48:00]
Oh.
[48:00]
Yeah.
[48:00]
Yeah, that is a plastic stuff I had.
[48:04]
Yep.
[48:06]
Let's leave.
[48:07]
I can give a hold.
[48:08]
He's a supervisor, Eisenberg.
[48:09]
Can I mention this Friday is September 11th?
[48:14]
I believe it was Friday.
[48:16]
Absolutely.
[48:17]
Yeah.
[48:18]
So on the 10th in the afternoon is the flag planning
[48:22]
on the Wineca Village Green where they plant flags
[48:24]
in honor of the victims of 9-11.
[48:26]
and then it remains until sundown on September 11th.
[48:31]
So welcome to Annie and all to help plan a flag
[48:34]
or just combine and observe on the 11th.
[48:36]
So it's a really wonderful memorial.
[48:40]
Absolutely.
[48:41]
I appreciate all of our first responders legislative update.
[48:45]
This, they're not in session.
[48:47]
So as the update, the announcement of staff report
[48:50]
to receive staff reports, is there anything
[48:52]
anyone would like to take from a staff report session?
[48:56]
I would like to commend Larissa for trying to get a window for the bill and get a new
[49:00]
area.
[49:01]
How's that going?
[49:03]
It's tricky.
[49:04]
Grants are tricky, but we did have the energy audit person come out.
[49:10]
He came and looked at the building last week.
[49:13]
So I'm working with our sustainability coordinator to see if we can even pull it off because there's
[49:18]
a lot of steps.
[49:19]
some things we don't qualify for because we're bigger than a house but we're smaller than a bit
[49:25]
commercial building so some of it is according to square footage some of it the grants really get
[49:31]
in the weeds so it's all about timing obviously because we live where it gets very cold outside so
[49:39]
the grant is the one that 30 years so I'll talk to Lucy again so that we can kind of move through
[49:45]
the process. Well, we're in the GAAD report or for Francis himself now, so it should make the process
[49:50]
a little bit easier. I will
[49:59]
note from the interview, you can see the numbers for child care,
[50:07]
when it's 16 families, when two kids are before and after school, and take your scholarships.
[50:14]
So those are coming through right now, we're continuing to see increase use of emergency assistance as well, as well as food pantry for those who do know anyone who has special needs and is living at home in the new true township.
[50:30]
Please remind them that the deadline is September 1st for the special needs of work program that is earlier than usual.
[50:36]
So we're making a very much certain September 30th.
[50:39]
It was out on September 1st.
[50:40]
It was very unusual, so make sure that people know.
[50:44]
So share the information that Heather's putting out there.
[50:47]
We created an FAQ, trying to make it as clean as possible,
[50:52]
or any electronic form, but we know there will be hiccups.
[50:55]
So, but we need to be able to get those out earlier
[50:59]
so that we don't have the issue of checks
[51:02]
not being cashed before the end of the year.
[51:04]
So I also wanted to, I forgot to note from Heather's report to the DNB program, extremely successful.
[51:13]
Every spot was filled for real ID.
[51:17]
And we, they helped me big time. I get all three things done at once.
[51:22]
Heather is a book in the past.
[51:24]
So yes, in addition to having the Secretary of State's office this year,
[51:28]
she was, Heather was smart enough to bring in the Treasurer's Office as well as the department.
[51:33]
with highways so you could get your transponder and you could learn about check your eye cache
[51:39]
and get check for around able funds and the new you know if you have a baby now they give you money
[51:45]
for for like the kid anyway you know baby you know everything.
[51:52]
But anyway you've learned about the triad with programs so it's nice to have all the various statewide
[51:59]
services available so we will continue to do that again I believe Heather already has two more
[52:03]
the calendar because you have to get them soon. Please also be aware that we do have our partnership
[52:09]
with the Sheriff's Department coming up at the end of the month for the recycling program.
[52:14]
Don't take that. Always popular. I'm good at our workout so we hope to see many people there
[52:22]
to help lift things when these Sheriff's Department people let me lift.
[52:31]
I'm sorry, I couldn't do that.
[52:32]
It's going, is it, read it's also-
[52:34]
It's going to help you-
[52:35]
If you have a parking lot in India, I'll transfer it.
[52:38]
And we have started putting out the list of items for making it different days as well.
[52:43]
It's also an Indian tell.
[52:45]
So a lot of donation opportunities coming up.
[52:48]
All right.
[52:48]
Any additional comments from the staff reports?
[52:54]
Okay.
[52:55]
Any new business?
[52:55]
that's seeing non-continuous business,
[53:00]
we have received the committee bylaws from Steve.
[53:05]
I didn't want him to do this first one.
[53:08]
I wanted him to just do the,
[53:10]
and once per committee, so much right, still there.
[53:14]
So I'm looking for a motion to approve
[53:17]
each committee's individual bylaws.
[53:22]
Is there a second for discussion?
[53:25]
Yeah. Okay. So page 76 is the first page of the life stage is funding and oversight. There's a council review note noting that we need to check. Yes, it needs to be deleted.
[53:41]
Okay. Have a number one. I assume that that's for all of the committees considering that we have mentioned youth and all of the committees. Right.
[53:49]
And yeah, and we would need an update on this. I'm a COMain.
[53:56]
Yeah, it's frustrating. I told him to delete.
[54:01]
I mean, he still has my red light in here.
[54:04]
My little line for the different.
[54:06]
For the different.
[54:08]
Editions here.
[54:10]
So it should have been in final form.
[54:14]
Okay, but assuming that we're deleting the causal review note,
[54:18]
which I believe was AI, and accepting my additional authority that I added.
[54:26]
And so it's like he did accept them on the other two.
[54:32]
Oh, no, well, in disability.
[54:35]
And you can, can I proceed?
[54:37]
Right, so I just, I have to try to reference this.
[54:40]
So gently, I feel like this, is that I need, like, one more confirmatory look
[54:47]
and just to make sure that they're each exactly right and exactly the same
[54:52]
the way that we've all done in final form. Absolutely. I think we're real close
[54:59]
that. Yes. I'm sure there's comments on them. What is this? Okay, first of all, I was
[55:07]
very happy with the way that I handled the youth provision. I've seen that.
[55:12]
That was regards to the, you
[55:18]
said that it's two consecutive full terms.
[55:24]
I think that should be per committee because you think it needs to be clarified by
[55:29]
that?
[55:29]
I do.
[55:30]
That's one.
[55:31]
And then I was curious.
[55:32]
I don't remember there being a 12-year limitation on individual vat.
[55:39]
Is that a new?
[55:40]
Is that new?
[55:41]
No, believe that.
[55:42]
I don't remember.
[55:44]
but as I thought about it, I'm just wondering out loud,
[55:48]
it really makes sense to limit the amount of time
[55:51]
the volunteers can serve the township.
[55:56]
That's what's coming from.
[55:57]
So that was my query on that.
[55:59]
And there's some head people serve more for it.
[56:01]
And we've had people serve.
[56:03]
No, we have, that's the only way.
[56:05]
So you could use two terms per, right?
[56:07]
For our item.
[56:08]
I think that makes more sense.
[56:10]
So that was my take on that.
[56:12]
Thank you.
[56:12]
And then the concept, now I'm moving over to officers, the concept of a vice-chair, that's a new thing as well, right?
[56:20]
I agree so, yes.
[56:22]
Could I have never seen that before? I think it's a good idea, but that's a new...
[56:25]
Yep, let's get out of that stuff.
[56:27]
And I'm interested in the A's on. I was glad it's clarified it, because I've never been really sure...
[56:35]
About public power and public power.
[56:38]
And then my question is, it says that, unless separately appointed as an adult committee member,
[56:46]
how do you want me to add ever a curve?
[56:48]
I don't think it would.
[56:49]
I don't need it.
[56:50]
But that's why I just, I call it out because I saw it.
[56:54]
And I think those are my comments.
[56:57]
We want to still allow for that to be an eventuality, or simply delete it and say,
[57:03]
Lee is on doesn't get to. It's okay. I just didn't know when that would ever come into play.
[57:07]
Right. Yeah. It was, um, I drafted it. And my thought and reasoning behind it was,
[57:16]
like the Winaka Compass Council, some in some iterations, people are banging down the doors to get in.
[57:24]
And in other years, you are just trying to get the bare minimum number of people. And so I conceived
[57:31]
of a moment in time in which I am serving on the committee as a committee member that you are the liaison for and vice versa.
[57:42]
And so I was trying to figure out, I was coming up with the way that somebody could still potentially vote.
[57:48]
So that's my vision, then I would keep that as a content, just a fail thing.
[57:56]
So I'm sure people will continue to knock down the door.
[58:00]
All right.
[58:00]
So motion.
[58:02]
I move to table the final book.
[58:05]
I was reviews till the next meeting.
[58:07]
Is there a second?
[58:08]
Second.
[58:09]
All those in favor.
[58:10]
Please say aye.
[58:11]
Any opposed?
[58:12]
Seeing none.
[58:13]
You know.
[58:18]
We're now in line for motion to adjourn. Is there a motion?
[58:21]
So, Dr. and all those in favor, please say aye.
[58:25]
Any opposed?
[58:27]
Seeing none, act.
[58:28]
See you at over at third floor.
[58:30]
Thank you.
[58:31]
All right.
[58:31]
We can either pause.
[58:32]
Thank you.
