[26:40] Yes, I just wanted to say, I know Jaylen's parents were here earlier, his dad.

[26:47] Jaylen was a great friend of mine, and he was a light on a dark day,

[26:53] and we lost a huge community member here in Wyandotte.

[26:57] So if everybody could say a prayer for his family and friends, that would be

[27:02] amazing. I also wanted to let everyone know that the Wyandotte Garden Club is doing

[27:07] a trick or treat walk at the end of October, and they are looking for volunteers.

[27:11] So you can go to their Facebook page and fill out a form to be a volunteer if you

[27:15] are a business or a resident.

[28:14] fanfare. It is a unique opportunity to experience all the bands of

[28:20] Downriver and it's a very special event that Windout has hosted for a number of

[28:25] years. So I encourage the attendance. I've been there many times.

[28:28] And also, yeah, it is football season, so get out and support our Windout Bears.

[28:36] Well, I just wanted to, I think on behalf of the city, share all of our condolences

[28:41] because every one of us knew Jalen, right? I mean, it was a sad weekend.

[28:48] And as many of us peruse our social media and were fortunate enough

[28:53] to come up with or be shared memories in their social media,

[29:00] and I thought, "Wow, how appropriate," because Jalen Thomas showed up in

[29:06] my memory, and I just want to read what he had posted that day.

[29:11] It was a photo that he took walking out my side door, and his post,

[29:17] "Spread love and kindness to others as the same way you wish to be

[29:23] treated."

[29:25] That was Jalen.

[29:26] Yep.

[29:27] Man, that was him. And I know I like to end on a happy note, and I appreciate

[29:33] you yielding the floor, but I also have a gentleman who was very involved in this

[29:39] city, the old-time ballplayers, the Goodfellows, and Mr.

[29:43] Ed Champagne is celebrating his heavenly birthday today.

[29:47] Mm-hmm.

[29:48] So, again, our condolences to the Champagne family.

[29:52] He was another asset to our community. I mean, that's Windout.

[29:58] And to see you all at the memorial last

[30:03] night, to see you involved just makes me not only a proud elected official but a

[30:08] proud resident. And it's not easy sitting up here as a council member.

[30:13] So I appreciate each and every one of you in making my city what it is, so I say

[30:19] thank you to all of you.

[30:21] Thank you, Ted. All I have is I was invited to the Blue Mass that was held

[30:28] September 11th at St. Joe's honoring police officers and firemen for their service,

[30:34] and

[30:35] Windout was honored, as well as St. Joseph Parish or Church.

[30:41] They have Bishop Jeffrey Manfortan there. So that was a nice addition to the mass.

[30:48] He's a very well-spoken gentleman, down to earth.

[30:51] So anyway, it was an honor to be invited to that and be part of it.
