[0:02] This conference will now be recorded.
[2:02] » for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and
[2:07] justice for all.
[2:14] » I believe we have no amendments, so I just need the adoption of the agenda.
[2:23] » Okay. >> Any further discussions? All in favor?
[2:27] » Aye. >> Opposed? Passes 4-0-0. I will open
[2:30] public comment portion. Individuals may address the City Council about any items
[2:34] of concern. Speakers must state their name and limit their remarks to 3
[2:39] minutes. Sarah.
[2:42] » Hi, my name is Sarah Burtsinger. It's nice to see everyone here and uh thank
[2:45] you for letting me come. I live just outside of Pine Island and I'm running
[2:49] for House District 20B. And I just wanted to come say hi and and
[2:54] basically listen and partake and learn about local government. And so I have my
[2:58] contact info if you have any questions or want to get ahold of me.
[3:01] » Perfect. >> Thanks, Sarah. Any questions for Sarah?
[3:05] I think everybody's met Sarah here, so perfect. Thanks for stopping.
[3:09] » Thanks for having me. >> Uh any more public comments?
[3:13] Tony? >> No.
[3:15] » I will close the public comment portion and we'll do consent agenda. All items
[3:19] listed on the consent agenda are considered routine by Council and will
[3:23] be approved by one motion. There will be one separate no separate discussion on
[3:27] these items unless a council member requests, in which case the item will be
[3:31] removed because from the consent agenda to be considered in its normal sequence
[3:37] on agenda. >> I need to make one comment on the
[3:39] minutes. There was a typo um for the amount of for the bid from
[3:45] Schumachers. It was not $5.5 million, it was $2.5 million.
[3:49] So I'll just make that note um and then there's just a couple
[3:52] misspellings so we get that all cleaned up it'll be in the approved minutes so
[3:56] just proceed as normal and we get it all drafted away for you.
[4:11] » You have a motion to approve? >> I make a motion to approve the consent
[4:14] agenda. >> Thank you.
[4:16] Any further discussions? All in favor? I. Opposed? Passes 4-0-0.
[4:23] Accounts payable, Kevin. >> There's two things to draw your
[4:26] attention to on this one. We've got number 82647,
[4:31] the new lawnmower there for $17,800 coming out of the capital equipment.
[4:36] And then at the very bottom, 82667, the new 2026 Equinox for $31,337.25.
[4:46] So, otherwise everything else is very routine and ordinary.
[4:50] I'll make a motion to approve the accounts payable in the total of
[4:53] $94,926.14.
[4:58] » I have two comments, both for Jeff. One that the lawnmower's, that zero turn
[5:02] that we talked about a couple months back.
[5:05] » This Yeah, this is the 72-in actually. >> Okay.
[5:07] Okay. Oh, yeah Oh, yeah, with the 72. And two,
[5:12] it's weird seeing you drive that Equinox around town in that thing.
[5:16] I'm like, I think that was Oh, it is.
[5:20] Well, that's what we like to hear.
[5:25] We got a second on accounts payable? >> I'll second.
[5:27] » Any further discussions? All in favor? >> I.
[5:30] » Opposed? Passes 4-0-0. Thanks, Kevin. New business, posting the police chief
[5:37] position. Um I know it's been discussed amongst
[5:42] the personnel committee, Bob, I, and Brian.
[5:51] We know the police chief is retiring in October August
[5:55] of 2034.
[6:00] So I know it's so what I know there's been discussions
[6:03] kind of know um uh just kind of started off but in my
[6:07] opinion I do know that we do have a good
[6:12] candidate or two internal. Externally I I mean I have some
[6:16] questions. What could we get? What could it do it to our department if
[6:21] we went external? Um
[6:25] So like kind of with that said you kind of know
[6:28] my feelings on that. I would like keep it internal. It would be a one-week
[6:34] posting uh versus a two-week posting. Um
[6:39] Council have any other opinions ideas motions?
[6:45] » So like tonight we can make a motion to keep it internal or
[6:51] » That's kind of yeah that's kind of what we're asking for just to kind of
[6:55] I mean chief has got what was it five eight three months?
[7:00] » A little over three. >> Yeah a little more three months and four
[7:03] years so no.
[7:07] So yeah so it's just kind of one of those things if we keep it internal
[7:12] I think it's going to be an easier transition
[7:15] versus external and interviewing and background checks.
[7:21] And I think there would be a lot more work for the chief if we went external
[7:25] versus internally. So there's some pros and cons of that budget-wise
[7:29] training-wise stress-wise for the chief of the going
[7:34] external. Possibly so.
[7:37] » I think the pros of going internally far outweigh
[7:41] anything else and that would be my preferred direction is to see a internal
[7:45] position posting first as the primary hope.
[7:49] » And and I and I agree and and there's a lot of pros, there's some cons. There
[7:53] are >> cons and pros.
[7:56] » of pros um >> I was going to say if I, you know, it it
[8:00] seems like the trend is as if you have the capable staff um to do that
[8:06] internally, we're seeing a lot more internal promotions to the position of
[8:11] chief than we are seeing external. Usually um what we're seeing with the
[8:15] external unless it's a significant size city, you know, your your major
[8:21] metropolitan um they often will do external. Um
[8:25] but they also, you know, would have it open to internal if they have those
[8:28] candidates, but we're seeing a lot of trends where that's being handled in
[8:33] inside which it used to wasn't that way in the past. Um but uh
[8:39] there's certainly, you know, you you have an investment within your
[8:42] community. If you've made that investment, you continue to contribute
[8:45] to that investment. You want to kind of get your investment out of it.
[8:55] » Bill B, any more input?
[8:58] » Um
[9:03] I like the idea of going internal. I also don't want to
[9:08] There's always a chance that we may miss out on
[9:11] whether we would or not, I don't know. I don't like eliminating that
[9:15] possibility though. That's my take.
[9:30] » I would make a motion that we do an internal posting for the chief
[9:37] position.
[9:42] I'll second that. >> Any further discussions?
[9:47] » This is not a roll call, correct? >> Nope.
[9:50] All in favor? >> I.
[9:52] » Opposed? >> Nay.
[9:53] » Passes 3-1. So, I think
[9:58] Chief and or Brian will get that out tomorrow, I think, when I talked to
[10:03] Brian or soon. >> I think I think Brian had something
[10:06] arranged with either way, whichever we approved.
[10:09] » I talked to Brian today, so. >> So, we're thinking that we'll post it
[10:12] out tomorrow, probably. >> I thought that was the thought that was
[10:15] the possibility. >> and I when I talked to Brian today, that
[10:18] was either way he was going to do it either way
[10:21] to get it out there and get moving. >> I think the only change was just the
[10:24] amount of time it would have been posted for, so.
[10:28] Yep. >> Perfect. We'll jump to 6B, resolution
[10:32] 2026 Pleasant Avenue, unbudgeted transfers.
[10:37] Kim, you do or No, I'm Miles, you doing Kim's job today.
[10:40] » Tonight I am. Um So, this is just a normal transfer we're
[10:44] kind of doing now. You've kind of seen it the last few council meetings since
[10:47] we've hired Abdo as our new auditors. Um this is just kind of how they
[10:51] request, so they have some sort of paper trail they can kind of go back to
[10:55] transfers on. So, this will just be for the Pleasant Avenue Loop project um this
[11:00] year. Um as you can see, um and you know, I don't have much more
[11:05] information other than that. She didn't give me too much, so.
[11:08] I will also mention we did have our audit this week as well, so I'll talk
[11:11] about that more in the updates as well, so.
[11:14] » Yeah, I mean, and I think Kim has done that with these transfers are going to
[11:17] be a little bit more often, which we didn't with our old uh auditor. So, it's
[11:22] just something they require or want or recommend, so that's why you'll see some
[11:27] of those.
[11:32] » So, I make a motion to approve
[11:39] » 2026-16
[11:43] » I'll second that. >> Any further discussion?
[11:46] Bob? >> Aye.
[11:47] » Joan? >> Aye.
[11:48] » Kevin? >> Aye.
[11:49] » And I I pass this 4-0-0. Thanks, Miles. Uh 6C chain link fence repair, Jeff.
[11:57] » Yeah, we we don't got some quotes just to fix uh
[12:01] 20 ft of chain link along the city shop there
[12:05] where trees have fallen over the past few years. And then to put
[12:10] a gate back on that we had I'm going to say that was probably gone
[12:14] it's been gone 6 maybe 7 years now. Just to provide security for that back
[12:19] area again on the south side of the building.
[12:23] » What was that price again? >> Uh 6619
[12:27] is the low low bid. >> 66,000?
[12:30] » It's 6,619.
[12:33] » Got to get the chain link bid. >> Yeah, it it would be basically back to
[12:37] original product other than the fact we're going to cantilever roller gate
[12:41] instead of a and uh we had used to have a swing gate on a wheel.
[12:44] » Yep. >> And that will will be coming out of our
[12:47] general fund in the building maintenance fund, so a normal expense as well.
[12:54] » I'll make a motion to approve the repair of the gates to be
[12:58] 6,619. >> Second.
[13:01] » Any further discussions? All in favor?
[13:04] » Aye. >> Opposed? Passes 4-0-0. Jeff, one more
[13:08] question I just thought of it. How are we doing on that water filling station
[13:12] credit cards? >> Uh it's very close. It's The room's
[13:16] done. Uh the manifold's built. It uh the box is mounted. It is
[13:21] um close. We're just waiting we're uh
[13:23] trying to get like uh Ryan Mechanical to come. It's a stainless pipe that we need
[13:28] threaded for a few of the pieces to get out to have our upper and lower fills.
[13:32] So, we're basically to that point and then calibration. Um we're waiting on
[13:36] calibration because we're also working on switching everything over to
[13:41] the looping project we did, which would put everybody on high pressure. So, that
[13:45] would change our calibrations. If we started now, we're on the water tower,
[13:48] we'd be at 55 psi. We're going to go to 82 psi. So, we want to do one
[13:54] calibration and done. >> But, we're very close with that, too,
[13:56] where we're we're actually looking at uh decommissioning the water tower.
[13:59] » As well. As well. >> I just know we're getting close to
[14:01] construction season, so I would just >> Yeah.
[14:04] Yeah, we did uh uh get a new water meter for the wooden
[14:08] backflow preventer. They're actually using it at the uh new apartment
[14:12] building right now. >> Okay.
[14:13] » And that will actually go to um out on 22nd Street now, and that will be sand
[14:18] and gravel will be using that for a part of the summer.
[14:20] » Perfect. >> So, everything is being metered.
[14:23] » Perfect. Sorry about that. I got sidetracked. Uh
[14:26] 6D Highlands Development Agreement, Miles.
[14:30] » Uh yes. So, we the previous two council meetings, or maybe last month or so,
[14:35] we've done our preliminary plat and final plat for the Highlands
[14:38] development, which is coming in uh this summer. So, this is will be the seventh
[14:41] phase. So, 28 single-family lots will be going up as part of the Highlands
[14:45] development. Uh and we've been working on a development agreement for the last
[14:51] four or five months now. Um and they've just been in negotiations
[14:55] uh the last two weeks with Bigelow Homes on getting that completed. Um so, we're
[14:59] bringing that draft for you tonight. Um Council member Kevin Amundson thankfully
[15:05] pointed out a couple errors, so we had some typos. And I am embarrassed to say
[15:09] there was two mistakes with the numbers, which I will address in a second here.
[15:14] Um couple uh big items of note for you as part of this agreement. Um there are
[15:19] there's no park that park dedication fees for this one.
[15:23] That is because on the very first agreement that or one
[15:27] of the first agreements, they had dedicated land in that agreement, so
[15:31] that was for the entire phases a whole multi-phases,
[15:35] which is odd, but in this case a little bit
[15:38] different since there's a golf course there, too. So, again, can't speak on
[15:41] how it was done 20 years ago, but that's where we are. Um another note was that
[15:46] they had in the sixth phase a sewer extension,
[15:50] um which was for about $68,000, um and that was supposed to be on a
[15:55] 10-year term, so they're in year five or six of that. So, they are required to
[15:59] pay off the remaining balance, which is $434,315.
[16:03] Um they will be posting a financial security on this project of 125%, which
[16:09] is required by our ordinance. Um that will be in the amount of
[16:13] $1,391,250.
[16:16] Um the regular cash requirements are $118,315.
[16:21] 315 dollars. As you know, in your agreement, those numbers are incorrect,
[16:26] and that was where I messed up. I miscalculated. The we originally did
[16:30] 120% for a financial security as part of our normal draft that we have, but our
[16:35] ordinance requires 125%. Thankfully, Kevin pointed out to me, so I got that
[16:39] addressed. Um and then I just miscalculated on the cash requirements.
[16:43] It's actually 118,000. In the agreement, we have $104,000, so
[16:47] just keep that in mind that it'll be more than what's there. I miscalculated
[16:51] it for whatever reason. So, that's my fault
[16:55] completely. Um those fees in particular are for
[16:58] engineering administration, legal expenses, which is 0.5%, and then
[17:03] for the sewer extension as well. So, not a ton of fees, but on our previous
[17:06] agreements, there were no fees at all. So, I think having anything is really
[17:11] good slam dunk for the city on that one. Um and I also added a provision about
[17:17] site maintenance during construction because we have a couple comments during
[17:20] our public hearings from the from the general public in the area about how on
[17:26] previous phases some of the site maintenance was poor
[17:29] and a lot of debris or trash blew into other people's properties. So, we added
[17:33] a stronger provision in there that gives us a little bit more room to say, "No,
[17:37] this is our contractual agreement that needs to be clean and it can't affect
[17:41] the neighboring properties as well." Um so, those are kind of the big notes I
[17:45] have, but I'll open that up to any questions.
[17:51] » Last time we talked about this, there were several
[17:53] things that the engineer talked about and that they were in the process of
[17:56] going through. >> Yes.
[17:58] » Those things get addressed? >> Yes, those are all addressed and legally
[18:00] they have to be addressed before anything's recorded anyways. So, the
[18:04] final plat has yet to be recorded and that's because it's contingent upon us
[18:08] approving and the signatures and recording of this development agreement,
[18:11] too. So, all these things will be addressed and I Bill is not here
[18:15] tonight, but but Bill has has been They actually
[18:19] forwarded us construction plans and everything. From my perspective it's
[18:22] been addressed, but I don't know if he has anything he still needs to work out,
[18:25] but we've obviously have never had a problem with Bigelow or working with
[18:29] their engineers on addressing those concerns. So, I think we're we're okay
[18:33] where we are now and again all this stuff will be ironed out for sure by the
[18:37] time everything's recorded with the county.
[18:42] » Any more questions on the >> You said the park part
[18:45] » So, anyway, so are you saying like I know there's a park at Calvin area down
[18:49] there and and so they're we're just saying they don't have to put an
[18:52] additional park? >> Yes. So, that one I don't know and it
[18:56] would have been noted in the preliminary and final plats anyways.
[19:00] This is kind of like an odd phase or really wasn't space for anything. Um I
[19:05] don't know why that had occurred cuz it really wasn't in any agreements. I think
[19:09] they kind of just put it in one of their plats at one point, just cuz it was
[19:13] probably an odd lot, and they were like, "We'll just put something there
[19:16] um for the general public." But, their original notes about Parkland dedication
[19:20] was that the golf course, cuz it was originally a nine-hole golf course, they
[19:24] added nine holes, and that was meant to be the Parkland dedication.
[19:29] Little bit weird, I think, but um that's the way it was done when it
[19:34] was first signed in 2003. Um and so, lots of things changed. One
[19:39] other interesting note, too, is that they wanted to pay their sewer and water
[19:43] availability charges up front in the first agreement. So, they paid us a sum
[19:48] of almost $300,000 in two in 2003 um for those for that So, that's for the entire
[19:54] 90 acres of future development, which, as our attorney Mike Flaherty noted, is
[20:00] really weird, um and he didn't really like that, but that's what happened. And
[20:04] so, that's why you don't see that as a fee in here, too, like you saw with uh
[20:09] the Keller Barton building um and all the projects we have, just
[20:12] cuz they decided to pay it up front, and that's the reason you don't see it in
[20:16] the previous agreements, either, is cuz they already paid it, I guess. And we
[20:21] Kim and I had to go back and dig back in 2003 to make sure that was actually
[20:24] paid. So, um yeah.
[20:27] » They probably came out really good on inflation, then.
[20:30] » Well, that's that's why they paid it up front.
[20:32] » Right. >> 25 years later, it's probably gone up a
[20:34] little bit. >> And our fees have gone up for it, too.
[20:37] So, they saved uh an ample sum of money, I'd say, but yeah.
[20:42] » I'll make a motion to approve as amended the Highlands development agreement.
[20:49] » I'll second that. >> Any further discussions? All in favor?
[20:53] » I. >> Opposed? Passes 4-0-0. Thanks, Mile, for
[20:56] all that work on that. Uh 60 set a work session.
[21:01] Um uh there's basically two topics that we
[21:04] want to talk about during work session is the water billing building.
[21:09] And then also the health insurance something about
[21:12] when our renewals are, they want to change the renewal but won't affect our
[21:16] budget. >> Yes, so we had Kim, I and Brian had a
[21:21] meeting with um our
[21:25] I think he's our consultant on our health insurance services or he he's
[21:29] part of our health insurance and we were looking for a way where we could know
[21:33] about our rates for next year earlier in the year so that we can budget for it
[21:39] because as you know, we get our rates in October and that's a problem because we
[21:43] set a preliminary budget in September and we can't go any higher than that. So
[21:47] if the rates come in at 20% increase, then we are out of luck almost and we
[21:52] have to really maneuver. We had to do it last year, too.
[21:54] » that's what we had to do last year. >> And so one thing that he proposed is
[21:58] that we can change the structure of our year and move it a month earlier. So
[22:02] basically the benefit year would start in December and go until um
[22:06] the next year. Um so it like we're moving things up a month and that will
[22:10] get us our rates in July. So we'll see what the increase is in July. That way
[22:15] we can budget for it. Now this is a little bit confusing and so Kim and
[22:19] Brian will probably bring some explanations and some charts for you to
[22:22] kind of paint a graph picture of it um at the work session but that's just kind
[22:26] of the idea we're floating because it's kind of a hassle on us um to budget for
[22:31] it and it can even be a problem in union negotiations as well when that comes up
[22:35] because well we don't have the rates until
[22:37] um October and that screws things up
[22:40] because I mean we started negotiating in August and September. Um so that can be
[22:44] a problem. So that's just kind of what we're proposing. We're going to let you
[22:47] all talk about it at the work session and then we'll bring some more
[22:50] information for you then. >> So the dates that Brian and I talked
[22:56] about one out of the three dates worked for me the best would be the 19th.
[23:02] which is Tuesday. >> June?
[23:05] » For that May. >> May, sorry.
[23:08] » No, yeah. Uh otherwise, the 11th would work for
[23:12] me, but the 20th would not. This is kind of what Brian and I talked about.
[23:16] So, let's start with the 19th. I think it only should take about an hour.
[23:20] » What time on the 19th? >> 5:30? I mean, I'm open. I'm just doing
[23:23] 5:30 for >> From the 19th?
[23:25] » That's That would be the 19th as well. >> Yes.
[23:28] » Is that or that's code? >> Mhm.
[23:31] » Would that that 5:30? >> We'll also be discussing some
[23:34] preliminary budget ideas as well for this work session. Nothing in-depth, but
[23:39] this is just the time of year when we start kicking things around. So, um just
[23:42] heads-up on that. Um as that will probably That will be part of the
[23:46] discussion, too. >> What what is your
[23:49] Could we cancel them? Code? I mean, I don't know what your topics are on that.
[23:53] » I would prefer not to cancel this code, but
[23:55] » We missed the last one. Well, I guess we just
[23:59] We're working on stuff, so >> Yep, and I have stuff, so
[24:03] » So, how does the 11th look? Monday the 11th, which is
[24:07] Monday. Bobby?
[24:10] » Uh we do it at 5:30. And it's only takes an hour. I have
[24:14] prior training. >> What time does that start?
[24:16] » 6:30. >> So, if we got an hour
[24:19] » I can >> I'm okay. I mean, if that works with
[24:20] everybody else, I mean, you you have 45, 50 minutes.
[24:23] » I can make it work. >> Don't So, let's do
[24:27] uh Monday the 11th at 5:30, and we'll just try to keep it an hour. And if Bob
[24:32] has to leave, if they go longer, he'll leave. At least we'll get the topic, so
[24:36] We'll set the work I just need a motion to set the work session on Monday the
[24:40] 11th from 5:30 to 6:30. >> I will make that motion.
[24:45] » I'll second. >> Any further discussions? All in favor?
[24:49] » I. >> Opposed?
[24:51] Passes 4-0-0. Thanks, Miles. Uh reports, Miles.
[24:56] » Uh so, I'll have a couple updates cuz I'm covering a few people tonight. So,
[25:00] number one was out for Kim. We had our budget or sorry, our audit this week.
[25:05] So, Abdo came in. They did field work only on Tuesday and Wednesday,
[25:10] which is different than what we're used to because our previous auditor were
[25:13] here all week, sometimes even into the next week as well. So, they did their
[25:17] field work this week. They were here and they got to see our processes and they
[25:21] got to handle everything and they completed everything and it ran very
[25:26] smoothly and we had no really big hiccups, which is
[25:30] really nice. I think Kim thought this process was
[25:34] a lot less stressful than previous years.
[25:37] So, yeah, we'll get more information when we get those audits back, but
[25:41] things went really well. Couple notes from our community
[25:45] development director, Kurt Meister,
[25:48] the Zumbrota Economic Development Authority voted to continue advertising
[25:51] the city by purchasing some Google Performance Max ads.
[25:56] EDA used Facebook ads last year, but felt the advertisements weren't reaching
[26:00] as many people as possible. So, the Google Ads campaign will work with
[26:04] users' online algorithms and allowing advertisements promoting Zumbrota to
[26:08] appear more frequently to targeted audiences. Um,
[26:11] ads will highlight a lot of the community attractions we have and
[26:14] amenities, including the covered bridge, the new community pool, campground, and
[26:20] our walking and biking trails, strong school
[26:23] system, and our new housing opportunities and local festivals as
[26:26] well. Um, and they approved the purchase of a 3-month
[26:30] advertising campaign for $3,100 through Tulip Tree Studios of
[26:34] Stewartville. That all came from the promotional
[26:36] budget of the EDA. And the second item is that the EDA is
[26:41] exploring some ways to better utilize our historical plaque that we have at
[26:44] the roundabout near Quick Trip. As you may know, it's kind of in a weird spot
[26:49] and it's really rarely seen by the public and may benefit from being
[26:53] relocated near the existing monuments by the covered bridge. So, Kurt has been
[26:57] working with Jeff to kind of identify a solution for
[27:00] relocating the display. Due to the size and structure of the monument, it can't
[27:04] be removed in its entirety. Instead, the plaque will need to be
[27:09] removed from the existing monument and mounted on a new stone base.
[27:13] In addition, a map of the historic Dubuque trail would be added to enhance
[27:17] the educational and historical value of the display. Anyone interested in seeing
[27:22] the wording display is currently displayed on the plaque is encouraged to
[27:26] contact Kurt Meissner by email. So, those are the updates from EDA. And then
[27:31] just for me and for Brian both, Brian and I attended the Minnesota City
[27:35] Managers Association conference last week from Wednesday Wednesday to Friday
[27:40] morning basically. So, we got to hear a lot of great
[27:42] speakers there and got a lot of networking opportunities with other
[27:46] cities. So, we got to flow a lot of different ideas around, talk about
[27:49] different topics. So, that was really great.
[27:53] We also had our groundbreaking ceremony last week for the Kilbourne Bridge
[27:57] Apartment building. Which went really well. We had a pretty good turnout, a
[28:01] lot of different members of the community. And then finally, Miranda and
[28:05] I this week attended our first election training.
[28:08] So, getting ready for the primary and general election this year. So.
[28:15] That's it. >> Thanks Brian. I mean Rob.
[28:18] My old I Chief.
[28:21] » Um number one
[28:24] » Actually Gary Schroeder Senior stopped in today
[28:29] and had some good news in regards to the
[28:33] memorial highway that's being renamed and was able to show me the sign that
[28:37] they're going to be placing and it'll be up It looks like to me in
[28:42] some prominent sections of the uh, north and south end of the city, so it
[28:47] will be quite visible. And so, we're excited to see
[28:52] um, that uh, Memorial Highway being renamed. Um, we uh,
[28:57] our newest employee is on track uh, field training wise.
[29:02] Um, so we're we're hoping maybe by the end of the month um,
[29:06] Misty will be ready to roll on her own. Other than that, I got nothing.
[29:11] » We going to do a uh, ribbon cutting or ceremony for the new signs for
[29:16] the highway? >> I'm not quite sure what what's planned,
[29:19] but I I would think that would be pretty appropriate to do that. Um, I know
[29:23] they're looking to do some fundraising um, because that is at um, those type of
[29:28] things aren't at public's expense. So, um, they're looking at doing a little
[29:33] fundraising and so forth with that. So, we're kind of looking at ideas.
[29:37] » Perfect. >> Thanks, Chief.
[29:40] » Mr. Miner? >> Nothing tonight.
[29:44] » I just want to piggyback on the groundbreaking for Bridgeview.
[29:48] Um, Joan and Kevin there, I think we had a great turnout. I I mean, they're
[29:52] moving right along. I mean, I almost got to drive by it daily just to check up on
[29:56] it. So, uh, I think it would be a nice addition. Has
[30:00] it been okay with public works? I mean, anything they've needed or done or
[30:05] » Uh, yeah, we removed a couple light poles that were on that street and other
[30:08] than that, it's been pretty smooth. So. >> Perfect.
[30:11] » Yeah, perfect. >> That's all I got.
[30:13] » Bob? >> Nothing tonight.
[30:15] » Joan? >> Nothing tonight.
[30:17] » Kevin? >> Nothing tonight.
[30:18] » Meeting adjourned.
[30:24] » Hey, do you want to help wait for mom? >> Malls?
[30:27] » Yeah, this week.
[30:35] » A 19
