I would like to ask the Board of Trustees to estimate the order of magnitude of unmet housing needs across the region. I specifically want to, on a juxtapose, this housing needs model exercise with the state HCD regional housing needs allocation process, which is a very different statutorily mandated process that jurisdictions have to go through as part of their housing element compliance.
