[0:04] Stay out of the
[0:07] way. Pretty good.
[0:25] [Music]
[0:43] Where have you been?
[0:48] Huh?
[0:49] No, you were gone.
[0:59] Just like you can see over here. I can
[1:01] see over there.
[1:27] Are you doing friends
[1:38] today? before my time.
[1:42] [Music]
[1:49] I'm not taking that one.
[1:56] [Music]
[2:03] You guys have it.
[2:05] Mr. Garcia brought me some stuff today.
[2:10] is flying off of the
[2:14] building. Yeah.
[2:27] [Music]
[2:35] So, you missed all your
[2:41] Yeah.
[2:48] [Music]
[2:55] Thank you.
[3:02] [Music]
[3:30] There's a creek.
[3:35] [Music]
[3:44] I have a lot of
[3:48] [Music]
[4:16] I don't know if I
[4:18] [Music]
[4:21] want you sit
[4:24] [Music]
[4:26] here on my last
[4:33] day.
[4:36] [Music]
[4:47] Excuse me.
[4:52] Not bad.
[5:14] There he is.
[5:50] [Music]
[5:57] Are you sure that the rest of us?
[6:00] [Music]
[6:23] Yes.
[7:48] Yeah, it's off the truck. Okay. But it's
[7:50] on the truck. She asked
[7:52] me, "Yeah,
[8:01] [Music]
[8:04] we'll see how we can go.
[9:00] Now call this meeting of March 27, 2025
[9:04] to order.
[9:11] [Music]
[9:12] of the United States of America and to
[9:15] the republic for which it stands. One
[9:18] nation God indivisible with liberty and
[9:22] justice for all
[9:25] [Music]
[9:38] here. Mr. Bles here. Miss Gon here. Mr.
[9:43] Romero here. Mr. Thoren here. Mr. Triill
[9:47] here. Madame here.
[9:53] Approval of the agenda with I need to
[9:58] amend the agenda and add the
[10:01] bills for
[10:04] approval. And then under new items, I
[10:08] would like to add under
[10:10] the firehouse.
[10:19] What did you call that? The firehouse. I
[10:21] guess that's what it's called. That old
[10:24] building. Is that what it is? The old
[10:26] firehouse
[10:28] by Elaine Binos. I don't know which one
[10:30] you're talking about, but I don't know
[10:31] what it's called. Is it the
[10:33] firehouse? where they had the where they
[10:36] had where that car is and the fire truck
[10:38] used to be. Yeah.
[10:41] Okay.
[10:45] Old building.
[10:55] Can we add Daryl Hall also to us?
[10:59] Uh did he sign up to speak?
[11:03] No, but he was on our last meeting and
[11:07] we kind of left him in the air that we
[11:10] were supposed to talk to 13. It looks
[11:14] like he's the only one that wasn't
[11:15] adding back to this one
[11:27] under Mr.
[11:30] call under
[11:33] guest after um friends of Agular.
[11:41] And where are we adding the bill?
[11:47] Um under
[11:51] [Music]
[11:53] new. It's going to go under that old
[11:57] building.
[12:01] [Music]
[12:11] Here we got something that I think we
[12:15] need to talk
[12:20] about. We got an email from Mr. Corkran.
[12:25] Bob
[12:34] Corkr from the
[12:37] town's email
[12:41] account. He's got
[12:44] some questions that he'd like to have
[12:47] answered on
[12:48] there or at least talked about by the
[12:51] board.
[12:56] Okay, then I think this one should if
[12:59] we're going to do this that needs to go
[13:01] into executive session.
[13:06] Either way, it doesn't matter. Okay,
[13:07] we'll do under new we'll go after bills
[13:12] and we'll add executive session.
[13:33] second.
[13:43] Okay.
[13:55] Go ahead and approve the agenda. Is this
[13:59] you go do that?
[14:05] Okay. Now, can I get approval of the
[14:07] agenda? Where are we putting Mr. Holes?
[14:11] I'm here. He's under guest. He's going
[14:14] to go under friends of
[14:36] [Music]
[14:41] angular. Okay. Okay. Can I get a motion
[14:43] to approve the agenda with the
[14:46] additions?
[14:49] Motion to approve the
[14:53] agenda, the executive session, the
[14:56] firehouse
[14:59] and the
[15:00] bills.
[15:01] Bill,
[15:14] yes, Mr. Roas.
[15:20] Miss Gilman. Yeah, Mr. Romero.
[15:24] Yes. Mr. Thor. Yes. Mr. T. Yes.
[15:31] Okay. Approval of the regular meeting
[15:34] minutes for January 23rd,
[15:42] 25 is on the resation letter.
[15:48] Oh, that's Yeah, so when you're done,
[15:50] I'll add that to it. Go ahead.
[15:55] This doesn't really properly represent
[15:57] what was said there.
[15:59] I had asked for a
[16:02] resation to speak about
[16:05] resignations and I thought I corrected
[16:07] that ending of
[16:09] it and uh really wasn't about past
[16:12] issues the board and employees. It was
[16:16] about the actions of the board and how
[16:19] we should follow more state
[16:21] guidelines than what we're doing. And
[16:24] the other thing
[16:26] was thread side was kind of shot down.
[16:36] [Music]
[16:44] So what is it you wanted? I wanted the
[16:47] wording to this to be changed from
[16:49] resation letter to
[16:52] resignations and that my thing was that
[16:55] we weren't following state guidelines on
[16:58] the
[17:03] council brought up the issue of the
[17:05] threats that was ignored.
[17:08] We weren't ignoring it, Mr. Thorn, but
[17:10] let me tell you, there was two officers
[17:13] sitting there. If you have a complaint,
[17:15] you need to file it with them because
[17:17] there is nothing that we can do. I
[17:20] thought went through the mayor, but I
[17:23] for investigation. But if you be you
[17:27] made accusations that people are
[17:29] threatening to burn your house down and
[17:30] stuff, the board cannot take care of
[17:34] that issue. That is a legal issue that
[17:38] should go through the sheriff's
[17:44] department. And also, while we're on the
[17:47] subject of your resignations, you never
[17:50] provided the board with the letter. I
[17:54] never intended to resign. That's what I
[17:56] justice. No, that's not what I'm saying.
[17:59] Whatever it is that you were reading,
[18:01] you did not provide it to the board. I
[18:04] did not provide the board with my
[18:06] personal notes. And please don't turn
[18:08] this into an argument. I'm not turning
[18:10] it into an argument, Mr. Thorne. If
[18:12] you're going to share with the board,
[18:14] this is what we do. It's on I have copy
[18:16] of everyone else's personal notes. You
[18:19] were supposed to put it on here. But
[18:21] there was no resignation letter. You're
[18:24] asking me for my personal notes. You
[18:26] want me to turn that I got? Okay. So,
[18:28] we'll just note that he refused to share
[18:32] whatever he was. There was no resation
[18:35] letter.
[18:42] Okay. What else?
[19:19] Okay, she's going to make the changes
[19:20] now. Can we get the approval of the
[19:22] regular meeting minutes for January
[19:24] 23rd, 2025?
[19:31] What should
[19:53] Mr. Bus
[19:56] Miss G? Yes,
[20:00] Mr. Romero. Yes, Mr. Thorn. Yes, Mr.
[20:04] Till.
[20:17] Yes. Jack Wells.
[20:22] [Music]
[20:33] Okay, name is
[20:39] Carrie Carrie Shaka. Cherry Shaka. Good
[20:42] evening. Thank you all for what you do.
[20:45] I know it's a tireless job. So, I
[20:47] appreciate that you guys are doing
[20:48] trying to make the community better. And
[20:51] obviously, I'm Eglair's biggest
[20:53] cheerleader. I always have been trying
[20:54] to bring industry and new construction.
[20:57] Um so basically I'm just here regarding
[21:00] my new build. I have 13 lots on the west
[21:03] end of town. Um obviously I put an
[21:06] application for a sewer tap and um also
[21:09] a water tap. I own three water taps
[21:11] already. Um, I had a 2in commercial tap
[21:16] from my five acres out there on the old
[21:18] highway and it was exchanged for three
[21:23] residential taps. I owned the tap since
[21:27] 2014. And
[21:29] then, you know, I'm not going to have a
[21:32] commercial business out there. So, back
[21:35] in 2019, I asked if I could exchange
[21:39] that exchange that for residential taps
[21:42] because I plan on, you know, building up
[21:45] the town, having new residents, you
[21:47] know, come in and want our town to grow
[21:50] and prosper and get our tax base up so
[21:53] we can have more money for our, you
[21:55] know, tax revenue to do our
[21:57] infrastructure. So, anyway, um, I did
[21:59] call the state, talk to all the state
[22:01] water commissioners. They did let me
[22:03] know that the current moratorum is for
[22:07] new water taps. If there's existing
[22:09] water taps or existing things, they
[22:12] don't they didn't have an issue. They
[22:14] did say that they had a meeting, you
[22:16] know, with you and you guys are trying
[22:18] to, you know, make all your benchmarks
[22:20] to get everything, you know, so that the
[22:22] moratorum could be released, but they
[22:25] weren't exactly sure where that was
[22:28] because these were existing taps. It
[22:30] wasn't new usage. And I think that 2 in
[22:33] commercial tap was like 200 gallons per
[22:37] minute and a 3/4 in residential like 50.
[22:40] So I'm like not even using a quarter of
[22:43] what you know was already established
[22:46] within the town water. So basically I'm
[22:50] just asking for approval of my sewer
[22:53] tap. Um because you know you have to
[22:57] build a new house you have to be able to
[22:59] flush the toilet and then to be able to
[23:01] just tap one of my three existing taps
[23:05] that I already have and then of course
[23:07] you know I won't ask to do my other two
[23:09] that I already own until the
[23:11] moratorium's lifted or whatever but I'd
[23:14] like to be able to receive possible.
[23:18] I have two questions if you don't mind.
[23:21] I got a copy of the letter
[23:23] and from
[23:25] um 2019, but a big section of it
[23:33] [Music]
[23:47] here. That's my original
[24:00] And the other question was
[24:05] on Stewart
[24:07] Tab came up in June 5th, 2019. It says
[24:12] here Sunnyvale mobile home park. Um,
[24:14] well, I was originally going to make a
[24:17] mobile home park out there, but then I
[24:18] kind of changed plans. COVID happened
[24:21] and so I kind of shut that plan. I
[24:26] didn't want to do that. So I
[24:30] would already paid for and you're just
[24:32] switching it to this other one. Yes. I
[24:34] Yeah.
[24:37] You know, Carrie,
[24:40] we that moratorum has been in effect
[24:44] since 2010, I
[24:46] think. And uh we weren't supposed to
[24:50] give no
[24:51] tax at all the
[24:55] state at the
[24:57] mandate till we finished the pond up
[25:01] here. We still haven't finished it. I
[25:04] mean we have a lot of people putting in
[25:07] for
[25:09] tax everything. We have a long list of
[25:12] them don't we? But I So but the
[25:16] moratorum still hasn't been lifted.
[25:18] Well, actually like when I look back at
[25:21] previous meetings, they a lot of times
[25:23] they would lift the moratorum, approve
[25:26] the tap, and then put the moratorum back
[25:29] on. So that's historically been the
[25:32] case. I mean, I've lived in this town
[25:34] for well, 51 years, and that's how it's
[25:36] happening. And I mean of course I have
[25:39] you know I am always promoting Abuar and
[25:42] trying to bring new people in bring
[25:44] business and Corkran is here because you
[25:47] know I you know I'm always trying to
[25:50] bring new business and revenue for our
[25:53] community. So I understand what you're
[25:55] saying but historically yes I understand
[25:57] that's been in effect but that hasn't
[25:59] been the protocol that's been followed.
[26:01] Then when I did call this date, they
[26:03] said, you know, it's new text, not
[26:06] anything that's existing or has been,
[26:09] you know, in the books or has, you know,
[26:12] and I own this this since 2014,
[26:15] actually. Once I finished that that
[26:18] pond, get everything fixed, then we're
[26:22] open, then we could do things. Exactly.
[26:25] You know, but until then, the state was
[26:28] the one that put it on there, not us,
[26:31] right? No, for new taps. Not exist for
[26:34] all caps because even
[26:38] uh we were on board when
[26:41] they they even
[26:43] stopped the council used to get free
[26:47] water. They even stopped that.
[26:51] I understand housing housing got free
[26:54] water. They stopped that because of the
[26:57] moratorum
[26:59] that was in 2010. Was it about something
[27:02] like this around that area? I understand
[27:04] they have they we allowed we we were
[27:07] allowing sewer tax. We were we were well
[27:10] we were
[27:12] water
[27:14] sewer we had a meeting
[27:19] was in August when we met with all of
[27:21] them that they told us our water usage
[27:25] was really high that we had used in
[27:29] excess. As a matter of fact, I contacted
[27:32] the school because we had had several
[27:35] complaints how they were watering the
[27:37] grass even if we weren't, but they were
[27:38] watering the grass. It's running down
[27:40] the street, you know, and I asked them,
[27:43] you know, if they could cut back on it
[27:45] because we were told that we had
[27:48] exceeded our usage and that was one of
[27:51] the things that was holding them on
[27:54] water taps also is because of the usage
[27:57] was way too high. But the other question
[28:01] here is
[28:04] so you did this exchange with Tyra.
[28:08] Okay. The past
[28:11] administrator. Um there are three
[28:14] residential taps which would be
[28:17] $9,000. So what you exchanged? Where is
[28:22] it located? So in the very corner of my
[28:25] property, it's a 2inch pan. I believe
[28:26] Bulani had a concrete plant out there
[28:28] back in the day. Is that right? So there
[28:30] was a concrete plant. So in the corner,
[28:33] it would be like the southeast corner of
[28:36] my property almost to Lynn Road there,
[28:39] the old, you know, highway corn to the
[28:41] truck stop. There's a big 2-in main tap
[28:45] that's there. So when I was going to do
[28:47] the mobile home park, that was going to
[28:49] be adequate water, 200 gallons a minute
[28:51] for the mobile home park. But I changed
[28:53] plans when CO and everything came in and
[28:56] just kind of put it on hold, you know,
[28:59] for obvious reasons. And then now I, you
[29:02] know, decided not to do the build mobile
[29:04] home park and try to do or obviously I'm
[29:07] doing a new build because that's going
[29:09] to be a higher tax revenue for the town
[29:13] that you know if I'm building new houses
[29:15] rather than allowing people to have
[29:17] single wide mobile homes or whatever
[29:19] over there. It's just going to be better
[29:21] for the town and their tax base and
[29:23] revenue and bringing in, you know,
[29:26] people who will, you know, spend money
[29:28] in this town and contribute to the
[29:30] economy. And that's what I'm trying to
[29:33] do is grow the town and, you know, get
[29:37] understood. Um my other question is or
[29:41] maybe my other statement is that
[29:46] um and I think this is something that
[29:49] we're we should get looked at legally
[29:54] is I don't know we looked through the
[29:56] minutes we looked through everything and
[29:59] at no point did we see where the board
[30:01] had authorized this so
[30:05] whether they were authorized to make the
[30:08] exchange. We don't know. That's been one
[30:11] of the bigger hangups on this. Yeah. I,
[30:15] you know, I was Tyra. So, I, you know, I
[30:18] just thought, you know, I I asked
[30:19] because I wasn't using that and I
[30:21] wanted, you know, so I I don't have a
[30:24] problem because it's good for the
[30:26] community, but like I said, we were
[30:28] told, you know, about the usage and
[30:30] that's been what, you know, the holdup
[30:32] has been on these water taps. But I know
[30:35] that you said you've had him before and
[30:37] I had already heard that. Um I don't
[30:40] know what the town would do with the one
[30:43] that you exchanged, but like I said, I
[30:46] have to get I think it's just a usage
[30:49] exchange because like a 2inch man is
[30:51] like
[30:52] technically you can do like 200 gallons
[30:55] a minute on a 2 inch mane, but like a
[30:56] 3/4 inch residential tap is more like
[30:59] 50. So, it's actually, you know, I'll be
[31:02] using like a quarter of the water that I
[31:04] actually, you know, could be using,
[31:06] which would actually help
[31:08] minimize, you know, the town's usage
[31:10] because if I went and turned on that 2
[31:11] inch main and I could just run in water
[31:14] for days and then our usage would go,
[31:17] but, you know, I'm not I'm agar and I
[31:19] just want to do the right thing. That's
[31:20] obviously why I'm here. Uh like I said
[31:23] the the question is and we've looked
[31:25] through the minutes and we just have not
[31:29] seen anywhere uh where the board had
[31:32] approved the exchange and that's that's
[31:35] the question here
[31:41] I think
[31:43] I you know I I'm sure they could
[31:45] probably do you know decide now we're
[31:49] but that's you know where we're at that
[31:53] think what we have been doing
[31:56] is granting the water and sewer line
[32:00] taps,
[32:02] right? But it's on the waiting
[32:05] list. So, we could still grant her the
[32:08] water and sewer taps for this house.
[32:10] Well, she's ting she has the water tax.
[32:12] I know, but she would then have to be
[32:16] put on the waiting list like everybody
[32:17] else is.
[32:19] We got a long list of people waiting to
[32:21] get a water seat put in. She's just
[32:25] going to Well, that would be like help
[32:26] facilitate. I mean,
[32:27] my revenue stream could actually help to
[32:31] hire the guy to come here and, you know,
[32:34] we'll make a swoop of it and we'll get
[32:36] Daryl Allstaff in that's been approved
[32:39] and we'll do mine and who I don't know
[32:40] who else is on the sewer tap list or
[32:43] whatever, but you know, I mean, I'd be
[32:45] willing to contribute to the
[32:49] construction and that, you know, helping
[32:51] with the infrastructure obviously
[32:53] probably above and beyond the per
[32:54] footage.
[32:56] you know, fee that the normal, you know,
[32:58] you normally are charged or the
[33:00] residents are charged to help bring in,
[33:02] you know, a contractor or whatever we
[33:04] need to do to help because I'm just
[33:05] trying to I'm just trying to help. Board
[33:08] has gone ahead and they hired Derek and
[33:10] Derek's, you know, capable of installing
[33:13] these water lines and uh the sewer
[33:16] lines. But the question, like I said, is
[33:18] the legality of the letter. you know it
[33:23] was we couldn't find anywhere where the
[33:25] board had approved it but if you give me
[33:29] time I will contact the attorney and see
[33:32] you know where the board stands with
[33:34] this and then
[33:37] and as for the sewer tab can we like can
[33:39] I get you know approval and on the
[33:41] waiting list or whatever for that I mean
[33:42] if I have to put in a
[33:44] sistern you know until whatever I mean
[33:47] that's going to stink because that's
[33:48] going to take up one of my 13 blocks to
[33:50] install a sister and water hauled. But I
[33:53] mean, I have a lot of people who are
[33:54] trying to relocate and, you know, and
[33:57] contribute to this town. So, I don't
[33:58] want a $350,000 house sitting there with
[34:02] a toilet you can't flush because I
[34:04] checked last year about this time before
[34:06] I even started this process and they're
[34:08] like, "Yeah, within a year we'll have
[34:09] it, you know, cleared up." Which I
[34:10] understand there are, you know, there
[34:13] are things and challenges that you guys
[34:14] are, you know, facing and doing a great
[34:17] job at getting over those hurdles. Like
[34:19] we have talked to the commissioners and
[34:22] even the state water commissioners I
[34:24] mean are singing your praises. They said
[34:25] you know now they're actually sitting
[34:27] down with us and they're talking and
[34:29] they're trying to meet these benchmarks.
[34:30] So that's all good news for Agular and
[34:33] the state is you know saying good things
[34:35] which makes me happy as a lifetime
[34:37] resident here.
[34:43] I think we ought to wait till the
[34:44] augmentation pond is finished, then we
[34:48] can go
[34:50] forward on the tabs and that. But as far
[34:54] as bringing other people to do the
[34:58] taps, we
[35:00] [Music]
[35:01] have Mr. Marcus and them that are to do
[35:04] the taps for this town. We don't want
[35:07] everybody getting into them. We didn't I
[35:09] thought what I was saying. I was saying
[35:10] I would bear some of the expense for
[35:12] Derek or whatever the town I would bear
[35:15] some of that expense for the contractor,
[35:18] you know, above and beyond the normal
[35:19] per foot charge to help the town, you
[35:23] know, kind of meet I would just need
[35:25] that the town more than halfway is I
[35:26] guess what I I'm just ask let me check
[35:29] on the water and then the board can
[35:32] decide what they're going to do about
[35:33] the sewer. Okay. That's you know they
[35:35] can do that tonight. Yes. and they can
[35:38] vote on it. And like I said, let me just
[35:41] talk to Adam and Andy and see what they
[35:44] say on uh the legality of the transfer.
[35:48] Okay. And then do you have because this
[35:52] says property 29120 if you'll give me
[35:56] like a physical address for it. First
[35:59] street now. It's 2912.
[36:01] It's it I actually got it annexed into
[36:04] the town of Aguilar. So my tax base is
[36:06] higher when I was going to do the mobile
[36:08] home park because I wanted and and all
[36:10] that annex annex annexation paperwork is
[36:14] in because remember I came to the board
[36:16] and annexed that all in so that we have
[36:19] a higher tax base you know and that
[36:22] would be in the town of Aguilar so that
[36:25] they would get more money. So all of
[36:27] that is in there and that property has
[36:28] been annexed into the town of
[36:30] Aguilar years ago like probably before
[36:33] 19 whatever. Okay. So and then the sewer
[36:37] tab you will decide on that. We can move
[36:40] right now. Yeah they can do that. Okay.
[36:42] So they can approve the sewer tab and
[36:44] then you'll let me know on the
[36:47] I open up or release the moratorum on
[36:53] sew it.
[37:00] about the sewer taps and the water
[37:03] taps. How many people do we have already
[37:07] on the list to do this? We need to ask,
[37:11] you know, we need to ask the office.
[37:13] They should have been in the old
[37:19] one for water for the sewer.
[37:24] I don't think there's a
[37:28] moratorum on sewer caps, just water
[37:30] taps, I believe. Right. Okay. Here.
[37:33] That's where I was showing.
[37:36] Okay. And whatever I can do to help the
[37:37] town. I mean, I know I don't live in
[37:38] town, but I own a million properties in
[37:40] town. I own a commercial business and so
[37:43] whatever I can do if I can be of help in
[37:46] any of these benchmarks or anything I'm
[37:49] happy to help however I can. Yeah,
[37:50] that's what I just said too and they
[37:52] said no not just the water that's where
[37:54] you left the moratorum but not
[37:57] I saw what you saw too.
[38:04] Okay.
[38:15] We'll get to it whenever we can. Mr.
[38:19] Romero made a
[38:21] motion seconded by Monica. Yes. Rooff
[38:25] Pro. Yes. Mr. Rohouse. Yes. Miss Galman.
[38:30] Yes. Mr. Romero. Yes. Mr. Thorn. Yes,
[38:36] almost
[38:39] done. Yeah, we're already we already she
[38:41] rocks in electrics in plumbing is in
[38:45] twin pit plumbing. J did electric
[38:48] um or drywalls insulated. So basically
[38:51] we're to you use natural gas um
[38:58] if I that was just another question. and
[39:00] I didn't know where everybody was with
[39:02] the installation of these things. Of
[39:04] course, I would like to because that's
[39:05] just revenue for the town. So, I'll
[39:08] probably that way. Yeah. So, I just need
[39:10] to, you know, I guess I'll need to have
[39:12] a a gas. I just didn't know if we had
[39:15] anybody, you know, has been doing our
[39:18] gas until we get um Mr. Rich oed. Okay.
[39:23] Yeah. So, and I
[39:26] will it's very likely. So,
[39:30] See, Carrie on the back on the swirl
[39:32] where you're going to tap into it.
[39:35] Mr. Romero installed that whole swirl
[39:38] line. No, no, I I did my own personal
[39:42] one because Scott did it from there
[39:44] down, right? House right across the
[39:47] street from me. From there down. Scott
[39:50] Canda. Yeah, we put that in. Actually,
[39:51] my ex-husband put that whole light in
[39:53] for Scott Canda back in the day and then
[39:56] it's been sold about three times since
[39:58] then. Mhm. Yeah, it's a big line. We we
[40:01] did all the excavation for that 20 years
[40:04] ago.
[40:06] So, yeah, pretty important to know.
[40:10] Um and then any Well, thank you very
[40:12] much. And then any timeline on that
[40:15] sewer installation, you guys know how
[40:17] many people are on the list? How many
[40:18] people are waiting to have seen? I
[40:21] know for sure. And that was approved
[40:24] with Mr.
[40:25] Cooper and actually I think Kim and
[40:28] Robbie maybe got that approved. We have
[40:30] roughly seven water taps that have been
[40:32] approved that haven't been put in and I
[40:35] think four or five sewers. I'd have to
[40:37] check the list. We we need to start
[40:40] working on putting in sewer lines
[40:41] because his dad's been waiting for some
[40:44] time to get one in. Right. And clearly
[40:47] flush the toilet with some water. We
[40:49] have to like if I have to put in a
[40:52] sister that's just ridiculous when you
[40:55] live in
[40:59] Thank you. That's perfect. I'll pay you.
[41:07] Anything else for me guys?
[41:10] I got a question to ask. Just a week.
[41:12] Back on June 25th, 2019,
[41:17] they had Robin Terry Campbell requesting
[41:20] sewer tap.
[41:22] Was that ever installed? No, that was
[41:24] going to be that trailer park. I had
[41:25] everything reopen. No, it was not
[41:27] installed. Gamblers in 2019. Yeah, that
[41:30] was not installed. And okay, I was
[41:32] wondering if it was installed at week
[41:35] either three or the one. No, that was
[41:39] never installed. We got approved to do
[41:41] everything for the the trailer park like
[41:46] I said and then CO hit and I just didn't
[41:48] do that. And then I thought it would be
[41:50] a better tax base and revenue source for
[41:54] the town if I built new builds rather
[41:56] than have bunch of crappy single lights
[41:58] out there on the north side of town.
[42:00] That was too amazing.
[42:04] Okay, ma'am. Thank you. Thank you.
[42:11] all. Thank you.
[42:17] Any notes?
[42:18] [Music]
[42:30] Hello everyone, mayor. Hello council
[42:32] members. I like to talk to you
[42:35] about infrastructure problem that was
[42:38] messed up by the city of Aular a decade
[42:41] ago
[42:42] already. When my dad had this in, I
[42:45] talked to Jim Neely and John Hill that
[42:47] put the infrastructure in my yard right
[42:49] there in the alley. When he put that in,
[42:52] he put it in. Right. I my sister used it
[42:54] for six years. I used it for a couple of
[42:57] years and all of a sudden city went in
[42:59] there and dug behind Kenny and Peril's
[43:02] house and did something. What they had
[43:06] done, I didn't find out till 4 and a
[43:07] half years later after not having no
[43:10] infrastructure at all. What they had
[43:13] done is they had taken an 8 in
[43:17] pipe from my line all the way down the
[43:20] alley. They had taken an 8 in pipe and
[43:24] grinded a hole out of it to place to
[43:27] place my pipe in it. And I assume that
[43:30] was probably the reason why it didn't
[43:32] run for that long. And then at the end
[43:35] of at the end of bitching and
[43:37] complaining to
[43:39] Tyra, Virgil went and practified he
[43:44] fixed his
[43:45] problem. I've had cameramen in there. I rotor rooted it for years and it's a
[43:51] problem that I that was so bad I had to
[43:53] go get a lawyer.
[43:56] $1,850 later for a lawyer just to write
[43:59] a letter I get an answer from the city
[44:02] of Agular stating that we're going to
[44:05] appease to whatever we did wrong in the
[44:07] alley and fix it. But I was like, I told
[44:10] the lawyer, "No, I need the money that I
[44:13] spent all those years for all that
[44:16] stuff." And so I went a couple years
[44:19] ago, I was here, Mark and Tyra, they
[44:22] said, "The lawyers are still involved.
[44:24] Wait till they go away and then we're
[44:26] going to try to rectify it." I never
[44:28] heard nothing from nobody. And
[44:31] now Indian Terrell's property is right
[44:34] behind this problem that ever happened.
[44:36] Here's the here's the line for the
[44:37] infrastructure for the uh city cano's
[44:40] property might be going into my pipe
[44:43] what you're calling my pipe all the way
[44:44] to the
[44:46] city. I don't know how they would tie
[44:48] that in. I didn't I didn't see after
[44:50] they had done it. So all this time
[44:54] nothing has ever ever ever been
[44:57] done. Nothing has ever been done. So now
[45:01] check this out. They didn't use the
[45:03] right pipe. It's not schedule 30. and
[45:05] they didn't tamp it in. Right. They've
[45:08] got 10 or so feet of dirt. They didn't
[45:10] tamp it in. Right. Now, that pipe's got
[45:13] a divot in it. If you go look in the in
[45:16] the alley, there's a divot in the whole
[45:18] part of it right
[45:20] there. So, now I've had to already roar
[45:24] root it
[45:25] [Music]
[45:27] twice. Pretty pretty solless and quiet
[45:30] right now, I guess.
[45:32] Is it working right now? Yeah, it's
[45:34] working and it's worked for
[45:37] about three or so
[45:40] years because they went and they fixed
[45:42] it. But the thing is, if they're going
[45:44] to grind a hole right here and they try
[45:46] to put it down here, what did they do?
[45:48] Grind another hole down here. When when
[45:50] we looked at it, the pipe coming up from
[45:53] two two cleanout valves are sticking
[45:56] right here. Well, they only put the
[45:58] cleanout valves because they know there
[45:59] was going to be a challenge.
[46:02] They know there was going to be a
[46:04] challenge. So if they messed the first
[46:09] thing up and grinded a hole in it and
[46:11] had my pipe laying there and it was
[46:14] going uphill, there was an uphill rise.
[46:16] That was the problem all them
[46:18] years. That was the problem. So in the
[46:22] end, I need the city council and
[46:25] everybody here to rectify what's gone on
[46:27] in the past.
[46:29] It's been way way too long. I don't
[46:32] think anybody actually here knows about
[46:33] it except for this young lady. She
[46:35] started about the time the problems
[46:36] happened about 10 or something 10 years
[46:39] ago or whatever
[46:42] and the board and I do believe Mr.
[46:44] Romero has heard heard the problem the
[46:47] last time. Read the paperwork. read it.
[46:55] I read the paperwork that they had on
[46:58] file for you. It states that you did
[47:00] have an attorney that you had and at the
[47:03] time Mr. Hyatt was the town's attorney.
[47:07] Yeah. And the end result was Mr. Muno's
[47:10] duties and responsibilities. Mr. you
[47:13] knows will be responsible for the cost
[47:15] of design materials and labor necessary
[47:18] to construct a 4-in diameter sewer
[47:21] service line from the point of service
[47:24] at
[47:26] 201's new 8 in sewer main extension so
[47:31] sewage flows properly from the point of
[47:35] service to a correctly installed sewer
[47:37] main extension cap I think I think where
[47:40] that directs to is when my father did
[47:42] See, my father put that line in there
[47:44] and it was fine for six years. My sister
[47:47] lived in it. We had other people renting
[47:49] it. It was
[47:51] fine. The city of Aguular had a hole
[47:54] grinded right here. That's when I went
[47:56] and got a lawyer. It says on here you
[47:59] did. You had a paperwork that I had
[48:02] provided. They've gone back and forth.
[48:04] Mark was mayor. Uh Tyra was on Daniel
[48:08] Hyatt and it's gone back and forth. And
[48:11] like I said, um it's time for redemption
[48:13] according to this. It was, you know,
[48:16] your as the owner, the
[48:19] responsibility was on. It was already
[48:23] there. It my dad had already fixed it.
[48:26] was 100% until the city of Aguular
[48:28] got in there and did it. I don't know
[48:30] why they even got in there. I don't know
[48:32] what the hell they were doing in there.
[48:34] If it if everybody's if the city
[48:36] vaguar's cleaning and that's all my line
[48:38] all the way down until it hits the city
[48:40] infrastructure, why did they get in my
[48:43] line? Why did they do that?
[48:46] The last page of what was given to me in
[48:49] the
[48:50] packet. Item
[48:52] four says the town will wave the
[48:54] requirement that property owner be
[48:57] responsible for the cost of constructing
[48:59] sewer main extension and the town will
[49:02] absorb the entire cost of the materials
[49:05] and labor to construct the sewer main.
[49:08] Which one are you looking at? And so and
[49:10] when the lawyers got that from Daniel
[49:13] okay but when you go to Mr. you know,
[49:17] duties and responsibilities under that.
[49:20] Um, it also says that he's responsible,
[49:24] but that responsibility was already
[49:26] meant through my father. He did that in
[49:29] 1997. That was already done. It was 100%
[49:32] done, right? The city got in there and
[49:35] jacked it up. Wasn't this between you
[49:37] and the town?
[49:42] [Music]
[49:43] No, I'm just asking cuz I wasn't here. I
[49:45] mean, I was angry, but it was everly
[49:48] between me and Tyra because every time I
[49:50] called, she would just blow it off and
[49:52] just I'm not gonna This was her thing.
[49:55] I'm not going to fix it because they got
[49:57] word that the the thing wasn't done
[49:59] right in the first place. I got Jim
[50:01] Haley and and John Beiel over there, the
[50:04] guys who did it in 1997, and they
[50:07] explained to me it was done right. Not
[50:08] only did I do that, but I got a camera
[50:11] shooting all the way from this side to
[50:14] where their cleanout valves are. One
[50:15] goes this way and one goes towards my
[50:17] house. I got a a camera man shooting all
[50:20] the way up it. It was
[50:21] fine. The only problem existing is where
[50:24] the city jumped in it and it did
[50:27] whatever they did.
[50:32] Is this on your property or is it an
[50:34] alley? It's an
[50:36] alley. It's alley. It's alley. And then
[50:39] when you guys told me I'm responsible
[50:41] for the alley, I was like, "Wait a
[50:42] minute."
[50:44] So, what needs to be done? You need to
[50:46] take that 8 in structure, pull it all
[50:48] the way up to my house, and then hook me
[50:50] in where I'm living in that little
[50:51] trailer.
[50:54] They don't go to your property. They
[50:56] only go Oh, they did for my partner Leo.
[50:58] He just got a place put in and and they dug a line all the way to this
[51:02] thing and and a sword.
[51:06] They just put that little tiny house in
[51:08] behind um
[51:11] Did the town do that? Yeah, they did it.
[51:13] They should have went to the property
[51:14] line. I can't say for sure.
[51:17] I'm just saying. Well, because we
[51:19] couldn't find I had a mini track over
[51:21] there trying to find it. I mean Derek's
[51:22] here. He probably would have done it.
[51:24] Did you guys just go to the property
[51:25] line on church? Yeah, just to the
[51:27] property line cuz there was no existing
[51:30] tap. So, we put it from the street. Oh,
[51:32] there was an existing sort of time. They
[51:34] just couldn't find it.
[51:37] There was a house there. Knock it in
[51:39] there somehow. Well, all I'm saying is
[51:41] that stuff was done wrong a long time
[51:44] ago. I tried to sue the city, but I
[51:47] stopped. I said, "Well, maybe if I go
[51:49] and, you know, say what's happened,
[51:52] it'll be rectified. Stuff will be
[51:54] fixed." Nothing was ever fixed. And I
[51:56] was underneath and now there's still a
[51:58] challenge over here. When it was first
[52:00] installed by your father, whoever that
[52:02] you were told or he was told that there
[52:03] had to be a lift station or didn't need
[52:06] no lift station because the camera said
[52:09] it gallons of water passes by just fine.
[52:12] There was no there was a determination
[52:14] on the on the height of the land on if
[52:17] they needed a lift station, but it
[52:18] didn't never because it ran for six
[52:21] years perfectly fine.
[52:25] Well, Mr. Munos, if you'll give me some
[52:28] time, I will look into this and see what
[52:33] who's responsible or what's going to
[52:36] transpire with this. Okay. I had a bunch
[52:38] of people who had witnesses. I gave you
[52:40] guys stuff, witnesses and stuff that was
[52:42] given to the lawyer and stuff. I don't
[52:44] know if you guys have that stuff, D. The
[52:46] only thing I have right here
[52:48] are attorneys and so yeah. So I will
[52:52] look into this for you and when can I
[52:56] receive a response time I came to the
[52:58] city and bring it back I will bring it
[53:01] back to the board so then they will know
[53:03] where where we're at with this. Okay. So
[53:06] within 30 days I can respond. Yes sir.
[53:09] Your
[53:11] uh your house is not using
[53:14] that that sword like the camper. No no my camper does not. I thought you
[53:19] said you were living in it. I live in
[53:21] it, but I still like the trailer that's
[53:24] still got sewer in it. My water and
[53:26] sewer right here.
[53:29] So that old trailer, I still walk over
[53:32] there with shower and the toilet is
[53:34] still working.
[53:39] Okay, thank you. All right. Thanks.
[53:53] Hi, I'm
[53:57] here. We were asking permission to
[54:01] have this year be on August the first
[54:05] Saturday in August.
[54:08] Um, what we're asking is
[54:13] the question.
[54:22] [Music]
[54:26] Okay, that that would be um the board of Jaguar president and
[54:33] um
[54:34] Eron is the vice president for
[54:39] that we have a committee I don't
[54:45] know we are meeting this
[54:51] Saturday what kind of insurance do you
[54:53] have when you uh have these festival the
[54:57] it's under it's called the umbrella um
[55:00] clause or the umbrella so it does come
[55:02] under yours but it's a rider where we
[55:04] paid the I think it's4 to $600
[55:09] um for the date of liability you have
[55:11] liability insurance
[55:35] money.
[55:38] That was two years
[55:40] ago. But with your financial problems,
[55:43] we went ahead and stepped up
[55:49] to unless you want to get security. I
[55:54] mean, I'd be more than happy to take it,
[55:55] but no, we are trying to um to secure
[55:58] everything
[56:00] ourselves, but yes, we had two years
[56:03] ago with us because what had happened is
[56:08] um we lost the marshall, the town
[56:10] marshall. And so that year, you said,
[56:12] "Okay, you know, we'll split the cost."
[56:14] And then then your financial issues came
[56:18] up. So we went ahead and
[56:21] in prior years when we did angular
[56:24] us we provided our own security
[56:28] the town did the only thing the town did
[56:30] for us was block off the streets and
[56:33] that's what but everything else that we
[56:35] did that
[56:37] it was that just the one year you had
[56:39] asked for that um the split because you
[56:42] weren't um you weren't anticipating that
[56:46] Marshall
[56:48] And I think we did pay for um our half
[56:51] of it, but the marshall was the other
[56:53] half. And so it just came up because
[56:57] there was a hole there,
[56:59] but we're not asking for that.
[57:03] So are you just asking for approval to
[57:06] have the festival on that day? Yes. And
[57:08] that you would um the
[57:11] last you would help barricade the um
[57:14] street
[57:15] sports and uh to take profession.
[57:26] So can I ask you like have you looked
[57:28] into maybe the school some of the kids I
[57:31] know um Mrs. Rogers had said that the
[57:35] kids they do community
[57:37] service we've asked um we've asked for
[57:41] help I don't think we've had a lot of
[57:44] response on that
[57:47] they have to have so much of it. We're
[57:50] always encouraged to help us with all of
[57:52] our events because right now we only
[57:55] have the one person and
[57:59] so you would like us to ask school then
[58:01] for trash help with the trash removal?
[58:06] No.
[58:07] You do it.
[58:14] So the town's responsibility to remove
[58:16] it.
[58:20] Yes.
[58:23] Okay.
[58:29] Um I need to go for August the
[58:35] [Music]
[58:38] second days.
[58:43] Okay.
[58:54] Second pro. Yes. Mr. Ro. Yes. Miss Gman.
[59:00] Yes. Mr. Romero. Yes. Mr. Thorn. Yes.
[59:03] Mr. Trio. Yes.
[59:07] We have one more item. Right. Pardon?
[59:12] Request special license. Oh. Um, we do
[59:15] that. We're going to do that. Last year
[59:17] it was held up in the office in this I
[59:20] mean the liquor license for the liquor
[59:22] license until it was closer. So what
[59:24] we'll do is we're going to come back for
[59:26] the liquor license because I don't um
[59:29] there's no sense in holding it up. I
[59:32] mean yes the special license. They are
[59:35] talking about adding um wine to it. So,
[59:38] we I've got to check out how much that's
[59:40] going to cost our for our insurance and the liquor license and everything,
[59:44] but that's on us. I mean, we will take
[59:46] care of that if um and then we'll decide
[59:50] if we're going to add, but that would be
[59:53] it. I mean, it's I think I don't know
[59:56] what all that entails to be honest with
[59:58] you. I have
[1:00:00] But I will let you know when we when I
[1:00:02] come back. Okay. Okay. Thank you. Well,
[1:00:05] thank you very much and hope to see you
[1:00:07] all there.
[1:00:19] It's a new name.
[1:00:21] [Music]
[1:00:23] Yeah, I'm here on behalf of my
[1:00:27] father wondering what's going on with
[1:00:30] sewer chat. It's been quite a while as
[1:00:33] last time. I ain't asked him to be put
[1:00:35] on this because I had come up with
[1:00:37] something that
[1:00:39] uh right next to his property where the
[1:00:42] marshals and his property comes together
[1:00:45] is a
[1:00:47] cleanout and would he be able to use
[1:00:50] that until it was to be settled? He's
[1:00:52] paying 200 bucks a month to remove
[1:00:54] waste.
[1:00:56] That's at a minimum. And it's costing us
[1:00:59] 100 to 125 every time twin envirro comes
[1:01:02] out just to suck the tank
[1:01:04] out. Father doesn't use the toilet more
[1:01:07] in two weeks than he did the last two
[1:01:09] weeks. So he's got to get it sucked out
[1:01:11] quite frequently and becoming Can I Can
[1:01:15] I ask you um what are your dad's plans
[1:01:18] to do with uh He wants to get the tap
[1:01:22] over there so we can pour a concrete
[1:01:24] pad. uh we can't pour that pad unless
[1:01:27] the plumbing is ran through that pad
[1:01:28] because he wants to build a small house
[1:01:30] on a concrete pad, right? His intentions
[1:01:33] are to build and live to build a house.
[1:01:36] I mean, he sold his house in
[1:01:37] Galveastston to live in Aguilar. I mean,
[1:01:40] that was his intentions to come here and
[1:01:42] live here, watch his grandchild grow up
[1:01:45] and be part of my life as well as be
[1:01:47] part of the city. I mean to make it
[1:01:50] easier on him, could we agree to let him
[1:01:53] run his sewer line into that clean out
[1:01:55] valve until this tap could be put in?
[1:02:00] Now, is this tap? I don't think so. For
[1:02:02] the trailer house, the trailer camper.
[1:02:06] Yes. Or is it for going to be for an
[1:02:08] existing? It's going to be for a house,
[1:02:11] a future building. He's in the camper
[1:02:14] right now. Okay. Do we have a the one
[1:02:17] camp actually has a housing stamp on it?
[1:02:19] The fifth wheel, it's a 40 foot uh it
[1:02:22] has a housing stamp on it just like the
[1:02:24] man camps at the other end of town. Has
[1:02:26] a Colorado housing stamp on it.
[1:02:30] uh we don't have a code for that, do we?
[1:02:35] Like within the a year. Oh, as soon as
[1:02:38] we get a tap, we're going to start
[1:02:39] building. That's that's the only thing
[1:02:41] we're waiting on. Uh my father actually
[1:02:43] had a pre-ordered uh pre-fabricated
[1:02:46] house and uh they delivered it to
[1:02:49] Walsenberg because he couldn't set it
[1:02:51] there without a pad being set.
[1:02:56] And now my dad's out $3,500 on
[1:02:59] pre-ordering a small house that got
[1:03:02] delivered to Walsenberg because he
[1:03:04] couldn't set it there without utilities.
[1:03:06] Okay. So, I think kind of what the
[1:03:08] situation is is that the tap was
[1:03:10] approved at that property under a
[1:03:11] different owner. Um, the tap was never
[1:03:14] installed or paid for. Mr. Hall came in
[1:03:16] and notified me and Sarah that they had
[1:03:19] bought the tap or the property and they
[1:03:21] wanted the tap installed. At that time,
[1:03:23] we transferred it to your father's name.
[1:03:26] We didn't get any application, anything
[1:03:28] from him. We did clear it with the mayor
[1:03:30] at that time, but I think the main issue
[1:03:32] is that nobody's really sure what your
[1:03:34] dad was going to do there. if he's
[1:03:36] building. So the actual What do you mean
[1:03:38] he's not sure? He's been to how many
[1:03:40] meetings and told you he wants to build.
[1:03:42] No, I didn't realize that that's how you
[1:03:45] know there's several counselors from
[1:03:47] what I've gotten there. So we weren't
[1:03:48] sure. But the application is actually
[1:03:51] under a different gentleman. So I think
[1:03:53] that we need to get an Well, then why did you accept if if you don't
[1:03:57] have an application from my father? Why
[1:03:59] would you take under somebody else's
[1:04:01] name? Well, the old mayor told them, "Go
[1:04:04] ahead." So I asked uh what the
[1:04:08] intentions were, okay? Because I have
[1:04:11] seen on the other apps and stuff and so
[1:04:14] that's why I'm asking you those
[1:04:16] questions as to what your dad's
[1:04:18] intentions are.
[1:04:20] In the one that he's planning on, you
[1:04:23] know, putting a building there or
[1:04:25] building whichever them's it's going to
[1:04:28] be most likely a pre-fabricated house.
[1:04:30] Okay. and they'll deliver it in two
[1:04:33] sections, but we have to have somewhere
[1:04:36] a foundation to put it. Even if it's
[1:04:38] just uh two footers that the the
[1:04:41] building sits on, uh we still have to
[1:04:44] have that done and we have to have all
[1:04:47] the plumbing rand before we can set it
[1:04:49] in its final location. Um you need to
[1:04:53] furnish the
[1:04:54] town copy of your plans. Okay. And then
[1:04:58] I think once they do that, if the board,
[1:05:00] my father has them, if the board, you
[1:05:03] know, approves and we're good to go. And the only other stipulation normally
[1:05:10] would be that you have to come get a
[1:05:12] permit to live in the camper. And I
[1:05:13] believe it's for is it six months or a
[1:05:15] year while the building was going on and
[1:05:18] I know right now the permit is free as
[1:05:20] far as Yeah. Now we can and then we can
[1:05:24] also just give you a new application.
[1:05:26] and you just give them the plans and
[1:05:28] that and then we can talk to Mr. Marcus
[1:05:32] and then set up a date. So, you're
[1:05:34] requesting that he has plans before you
[1:05:36] get the sewer tap. You have to let them
[1:05:39] know what they're doing. That's that was the intentions of the gentleman
[1:05:43] that owned the
[1:05:44] property is he had already told them. He
[1:05:47] had asked the town apparently when he
[1:05:50] applied for that sewer tap, he had asked
[1:05:52] them for um a year. Well, he um he
[1:05:58] filled out with the um intention to
[1:06:01] build the house and he never did
[1:06:03] anything. And this was I think your dad
[1:06:05] came in about 10 months into the year.
[1:06:07] The previous owner has nothing to do
[1:06:08] with my phone. But the problem is the
[1:06:10] application and everything. It was the
[1:06:12] tap was given to the previous owner and
[1:06:14] we never got new paperwork. The city
[1:06:16] transferred it over though, right? So
[1:06:17] having the old mayor. But the thing is that I'm the one that transferred it.
[1:06:22] I crossed out his name and put your
[1:06:23] dad's name. The board didn't approve it.
[1:06:24] The old mayor did. And now with the new
[1:06:27] board, they're requiring everything's
[1:06:28] done above board legit the way it's
[1:06:30] supposed to have been done in the past,
[1:06:31] which it wasn't. So basically, I think
[1:06:34] he just needs to bring in his building
[1:06:35] plans. I can give you a new app as
[1:06:37] before you leave. Fill it out, bring it
[1:06:40] in, and as long as the board is good
[1:06:41] with the plans, I mean, I don't see an
[1:06:44] issue. It's already paid for. It's just
[1:06:46] I believe he's the first one for a sewer
[1:06:48] on our list as long as it almost nine
[1:06:51] months now. Yeah. I know before they
[1:06:54] didn't have the money the last six
[1:06:56] months. It's I mean I could dig this
[1:06:59] thing by hand. Arinda, if you went to my
[1:07:01] father's property, it's exposed in the
[1:07:03] yard next door. It actually has wooden
[1:07:06] pallets over the hole. Um it's sticking
[1:07:09] three feet out of the ground, a six foot
[1:07:11] hole. Literally got to run the pipe 15
[1:07:15] That's not what that one is for. It's
[1:07:19] like to chime in on this. So that tap
[1:07:23] right there that was put in, Tyler
[1:07:24] requested it for the marshall that was
[1:07:27] originally going to live in that house.
[1:07:31] There you go. So what we'll end up doing
[1:07:33] for Mr. Hall is just go directly behind
[1:07:36] his property, talk to you, be like,
[1:07:38] "Okay, where do you want this tap from
[1:07:39] your property under your property line?"
[1:07:41] I'll dig the hole. We'll set the tap.
[1:07:42] take it to the property line
[1:07:45] and let them take it from there. I mean,
[1:07:47] how far? Literally all 16. Okay.
[1:07:53] That's It's not very far. I mean, I can
[1:07:56] dig it by hand in a few days.
[1:08:00] Now, I have I have a question.
[1:08:05] Everything seems okay, but how
[1:08:09] many people put in for cats before they
[1:08:14] I mean, we have to She just said I was
[1:08:16] on the list. I have to kind of been on
[1:08:18] the waiting list for over nine months.
[1:08:21] Yeah. Well, I don't know how how many
[1:08:23] were ahead of you. Maybe there weren't
[1:08:25] anymore. Maybe you're the first one. You
[1:08:27] know, we have to kind of situation
[1:08:31] though. What was going going on with him
[1:08:33] is we're eight months down the road. His
[1:08:35] father's having to pay over $200 a month
[1:08:38] to keep having this pump out. He's paid
[1:08:41] for the thing. It's been eight months.
[1:08:43] All we have to do is give him permission
[1:08:46] to run the line over to the uh cleanup.
[1:08:49] It's not the way they're doing it. Derek
[1:08:51] has it under control. So as soon as
[1:08:56] you get that paper in I
[1:08:59] haven't This is hard to really Everyone
[1:09:02] keeps overt talking me on this. The
[1:09:06] man's been
[1:09:08] very pleasant on this. He's been patient
[1:09:12] and to get him to where unless we start
[1:09:14] paying for it his sewer to be pumped
[1:09:17] out. just let him run line to the
[1:09:20] uh uh cleanout. They're gonna as soon as
[1:09:23] he brings the paperwork, Vernon, they're
[1:09:26] Derek's going to take care of it. Okay.
[1:09:29] How soon though? That's the same
[1:09:30] question. If he brings the paperwork
[1:09:32] tomorrow, then if the board says okay,
[1:09:35] then we're good. Okay. Can we vote on it
[1:09:38] now? Please.
[1:09:41] I think we need to get his plans and his
[1:09:43] application. And the problem with
[1:09:45] running a sewer hose into another tap is
[1:09:47] we've had several people in Aguilar this
[1:09:49] year wanting to do that and they've been
[1:09:51] told they can't do that. Don't have to
[1:09:54] be done. I'm not worried about using the
[1:09:56] neighbors clean out. I'll have plans and
[1:09:59] as soon as I have plans. Uh I just ask
[1:10:01] that it's granted that we go ahead and
[1:10:03] perform the service. That's what I'm
[1:10:05] saying. As long as the board says you
[1:10:07] bring in the plans and that wait till
[1:10:10] the next meeting for
[1:10:14] we have to wait on Derek. Thank you.
[1:10:16] I'll make a
[1:10:18] motion on him.
[1:10:23] [Music]
[1:10:25] And he said he'll get us the paperwork
[1:10:26] and as soon as that's done then it's
[1:10:29] going to be up to whenever Derek's going
[1:10:31] to be available.
[1:10:36] So, I make a motion once the paperwork
[1:10:41] submitted. Second,
[1:10:46] you behind there, sir.
[1:10:49] Where are you at?
[1:10:59] Here.
[1:11:02] [Music]
[1:11:06] Miss Rodriguez.
[1:11:08] Oh, wait. Roll call. Pro. Yeah. Mr.
[1:11:12] Roas.
[1:11:14] Yes. Miss Gilman. Yes. Mr. Romero. Yes.
[1:11:19] Mr. Thorn. Yes. Mr. Triel.
[1:11:23] [Music]
[1:11:27] Okay. Miss Rodriguez.
[1:11:30] Hello everyone.
[1:11:34] I exchanged long sitting glasses for
[1:11:36] reading glasses. I'm mad about
[1:11:39] it. Just my age. Okay. It has been asked
[1:11:44] by both Trustee Romero and Trustee
[1:11:48] Thorne, but I've never seen or heard an
[1:11:51] answer. So I, as a citizen, will ask it
[1:11:55] and hopefully get a honest answer.
[1:11:58] Ken Torres is working with our mayor
[1:12:01] alongside our mayor with
[1:12:03] CEO. He is working as a building
[1:12:06] inspector Merkantile and he's also
[1:12:09] working as code enforcement. So my
[1:12:12] question
[1:12:13] is did this council renegotiate Mr.
[1:12:17] Torres contract to include all of those
[1:12:20] things along with his work on the
[1:12:23] augmentation pond? And if so, where is
[1:12:26] it?
[1:12:28] Where is the re renegotiated contract?
[1:12:32] Have the trustees gotten a copy and
[1:12:34] voted on it? If not, why is he doing all
[1:12:37] of these
[1:12:40] things? The board voted to to negotiate
[1:12:44] his contract. They all voted. Mr. Romero
[1:12:46] made a motion. No, Miss G did. Mr.
[1:12:50] Romero seconded. The board all voted.
[1:12:52] And the only one was Mr. thorn that said
[1:12:54] no the and this was found on October
[1:13:00] 30th negotiated contract from the
[1:13:03] lawyer. The only thing that they asked
[1:13:06] was that the attorney changed the
[1:13:09] verbiage that
[1:13:12] uh he would answer to the mayor because
[1:13:16] Mr. Romero asked the question. Who does
[1:13:19] he answer? He said no. He may say no,
[1:13:21] but he also told me that they didn't
[1:13:24] hire Derek Marcus and they hired Derek
[1:13:27] Marcus.
[1:13:30] So, have
[1:13:31] you guys seen a You know what? And I
[1:13:35] have to agree with that. I I didn't vote
[1:13:37] no on renegotiation of contract. Yes,
[1:13:40] you did, sir. Everyone I did not. Yes,
[1:13:43] you did. When we came out of executive
[1:13:45] session, I have issues. Okay. Today, you
[1:13:48] know what happens? I have issues also.
[1:13:50] I'm talking and we're in session. This
[1:13:54] doesn't include it has to do with
[1:13:56] Torres. Hold on. Okay.
[1:14:00] We didn't make that vote. What we voted
[1:14:02] on was that we would renegotiate his
[1:14:06] contract. It came up later. And what was
[1:14:09] said then was that he would still take
[1:14:12] care of things with the augmentation pot
[1:14:14] until we reviewed the new contract.
[1:14:17] That's what was said. Have any of you
[1:14:19] seen the new contract? Grant writing. He
[1:14:21] was supposed to ask
[1:14:23] grant writing whatever else there was to
[1:14:26] do. The only thing that was changed on
[1:14:29] was going to change on the contract was
[1:14:33] um who he reported to and it said on the
[1:14:37] contract they still have the old
[1:14:39] contract.
[1:14:43] Bruce, did we send that contract? Yes.
[1:14:47] to the lawyers. Yes. And you were
[1:14:49] supposed to come up with Well, I'll tell
[1:14:51] you what. I sent the thing today to the
[1:14:54] attorney and so we So, no one's seen a
[1:14:57] contract. Well, they will.
[1:14:59] [Music]
[1:15:01] So, this has to wait till next meeting.
[1:15:03] Yes. Well, but you're saying something
[1:15:06] that's really completely wrong. What we
[1:15:09] voted on was for his camp his contact to
[1:15:13] be suspended other than the duties of
[1:15:16] the office. Never
[1:15:19] get tired of being interrupted. I'm
[1:15:21] trying not to argue with you. I'm trying
[1:15:23] to make a point which I haven't
[1:15:24] recommend. There was no question Vernon.
[1:15:29] Well, when I talk to you, you always
[1:15:30] tell me I can't hear. So, what are we
[1:15:32] going to do? We can hear or do I not
[1:15:35] call? Going into this type thing. Why
[1:15:38] wasn't Ken at my house today at 8:00
[1:15:40] this morning to go pick up those? You're
[1:15:42] not on the agenda. I don't care anymore.
[1:15:46] We had a plan and you I thought you were
[1:15:49] on for the puppies, those dogs. We had a
[1:15:52] plan today to get rid of them and it
[1:15:55] didn't happen. You need to settle down.
[1:15:59] We're not going to do this. Okay.
[1:16:02] The conversation.
[1:16:04] Don't do that. I want you to do your
[1:16:06] job. I want her to do her job. No, I
[1:16:10] want her to do her job. Talking about
[1:16:12] her. She'll take you out of here. I'll
[1:16:14] just leave.
[1:16:18] What when did we have the meeting that
[1:16:21] we talked about contract? October the
[1:16:24] 30th. You can look it up. It's on there.
[1:16:27] There's the video where you guys made
[1:16:29] the motion.
[1:16:31] I've asked three times and was never
[1:16:33] given an answer. That's why I'm here
[1:16:35] tonight. I said I will get an answer for
[1:16:37] you and then that you can all see his
[1:16:40] contract.
[1:16:43] I'm I want to go on record. I do not
[1:16:45] trust anyone who will lie at a public
[1:16:48] meeting. My very first meeting at the
[1:16:51] community center, Mr. Torres was asked a
[1:16:54] question and said, "Hey, I volunteer
[1:16:57] here. You want me to leave? I'll leave."
[1:17:00] And then come to find out he doesn't
[1:17:02] volunteer at all. He gets paid. That's
[1:17:04] why I'm questioning his motives, his
[1:17:07] actions, all of your actions.
[1:17:12] Thank you.
[1:17:22] Rich, I would like to make a remark
[1:17:26] about this tension between me and you.
[1:17:29] know what? We're going on to the
[1:17:31] utility report. Thank you, Mr. Thornne.
[1:17:34] We're going to stick to the agenda
[1:17:36] tonight. The point that I'm making, go
[1:17:38] ahead.
[1:17:40] Well, everybody has seen my report this
[1:17:42] month. Everything's going
[1:17:45] well. Me and Derek had fixed the the
[1:17:48] sewer line over at 311's
[1:17:51] main. Everything went
[1:17:55] well. I do
[1:17:57] have the report, not the report, but for
[1:18:01] the guest, it is in the packet.
[1:18:06] to go ahead and get me uh qualified for
[1:18:09] uh the
[1:18:11] OQ. Um we're supposed to find out about
[1:18:13] what exactly we need to get that in
[1:18:16] motion and keep that
[1:18:18] going. And also I have quotes here
[1:18:24] because we need road
[1:18:27] base and completely out of road base and
[1:18:29] these the roads are getting bad and we
[1:18:31] need to get these Wait, we have to wait
[1:18:33] till we get to that.
[1:18:36] I had my report
[1:18:37] [Music]
[1:18:39] and then we'll just cross it out and the
[1:18:41] gas too. Yeah, they want
[1:18:43] [Music]
[1:18:46] Okay. But yeah, I mean if anybody has
[1:18:49] any questions about my report this
[1:18:52] month, I did get the tire back for the
[1:18:55] black. I got that back today. It will be
[1:18:58] back on the vehicle tomorrow. And he did
[1:19:00] get the
[1:19:05] um what is it called?
[1:19:11] Welded got fixed on the on the plow. The
[1:19:14] plow fixed.
[1:19:17] Did you have that welded again? Yes. And
[1:19:22] they they totally rebuilt it.
[1:19:26] You tried putting that other one on. No,
[1:19:29] I did not. But that one there, it ain't
[1:19:32] going to last. I'm going to I'm going to
[1:19:35] utilize it as long as we can and then
[1:19:38] I'll take the the stuff off the white
[1:19:40] truck and have it sitting because I'm
[1:19:43] not sure what we're doing with the white
[1:19:44] truck yet. I think we should use that
[1:19:47] other
[1:19:48] valve and get rid of that that one
[1:19:52] because it broke
[1:19:54] already.
[1:19:56] And once it once that steel
[1:20:01] breaks, they can weld all they want.
[1:20:04] They could put gussets. They could do
[1:20:05] whatever they want, but it's weak. But
[1:20:09] the thing was it's not going to last.
[1:20:10] No, Mr. Bro, you're you're you're 100%
[1:20:14] correct. And the one thing was when that
[1:20:16] truck was brought here, it didn't have
[1:20:19] feet on it.
[1:20:21] So, when I was plowing the roads, it
[1:20:24] wasn't staying off the ground so much.
[1:20:27] But now that we got the feet on there,
[1:20:29] it's only
[1:20:31] allowing you to go down so far. So, it's
[1:20:35] going to be more durable than than what
[1:20:37] it was before. But I'm I'm in But yes, I get rid of that
[1:20:43] one and get just a flat one. Okay.
[1:20:46] Because that other one we have, you can
[1:20:50] tilt it. This one
[1:20:52] here, you got a lot of pressure in that
[1:20:55] middle part. Correct. A lot of pressure.
[1:20:57] Correct. And And that that like I say,
[1:21:02] once that steel
[1:21:05] breaks, it it's going to break again.
[1:21:09] Correct. Because it's all weak. Yes.
[1:21:12] I'll work at the steel mill with the
[1:21:14] steel. Right.
[1:21:17] And that still once it breaks and that
[1:21:20] forget about. So that's my point is
[1:21:23] we're going to have to get rid of it.
[1:21:26] The plow the plow
[1:21:28] that truck and that other one is a
[1:21:32] better one because it's just flat. You
[1:21:35] know the one you just had repaired.
[1:21:37] We're talking about the B1 that's on the
[1:21:39] green truck that was purchased.
[1:21:42] That one he wants to get rid of and use
[1:21:44] the one that is on the old white Chevy.
[1:21:49] the one that leaks oil everywhere. But I
[1:21:51] think I think we can take that off. I'm
[1:21:53] not sure because that's a Ford truck, a
[1:21:56] Chevy truck, but we'll have to see.
[1:22:02] What's that, Darl? What do you
[1:22:05] think on those plows?
[1:22:09] We've got some time to look at that. I
[1:22:11] mean, we're here pretty soon. Yeah, I'm
[1:22:14] not really worried about right now. Like
[1:22:16] I said, you can't be by what you got.
[1:22:17] It's your car now. Correct. Yes, sir. It
[1:22:19] is. We do follow this too. And and and
[1:22:23] like I said, the feet weren't on it
[1:22:25] before. And Gerald, you know all about
[1:22:27] and everybody knows about the feet that
[1:22:28] are on a plow that it actually keeps it
[1:22:30] off the ground a little bit, right? And
[1:22:33] that's what the problem was is when I
[1:22:35] was when I was plowing, I would push it
[1:22:39] up a little bit, but I can't tell inside
[1:22:41] the cab unless I get out every time that
[1:22:43] Yeah, exactly. So now that the feet are
[1:22:46] on it, it's it's working properly. There
[1:22:48] you go.
[1:23:05] Hey, you have your project report from
[1:23:09] Mr. Taus.
[1:23:14] We met yesterday with SGM and SA at the
[1:23:20] augmentation p
[1:23:26] doing the punch list for I'm getting
[1:23:29] ready to get started on it. Um I don't
[1:23:34] know if you all know but CFA and SGM
[1:23:38] have been paid
[1:23:42] and they're down a retention fee of
[1:23:47] $114,000, but once we did the walks
[1:23:50] yesterday, um I believe that Rick Bard
[1:23:53] from SGM will put in for the release of
[1:23:56] it and we will
[1:23:59] advertise and then they will get paid.
[1:24:02] Uh we went up to check the green water
[1:24:07] tank because we were told that it's
[1:24:10] fallen apart. But what it is is the tank
[1:24:15] is covered in some type of an
[1:24:19] insulation. And
[1:24:22] apparently we thought I think to us it
[1:24:25] looks like bird dancing. you know,
[1:24:27] white. They're just kind of like what a
[1:24:30] woodpecker does, you know, the holes in
[1:24:33] it. And that's what this looks like
[1:24:35] because we were told they thought maybe
[1:24:37] people were shooting at it, but that's
[1:24:40] not what it looked like. It it I mean,
[1:24:41] it's deteriorating. But I do believe
[1:24:44] that that tank is also on the list with
[1:24:48] the other ones, right? A replacement.
[1:24:51] But for now, the only thing I think that
[1:24:54] needs to be done, and this is a request
[1:24:57] from Cersea, is
[1:25:00] that a gate be put
[1:25:03] up because there's two metal pieces
[1:25:07] thrown there on the side. But it's my
[1:25:09] understanding that the town does have
[1:25:11] gates that had been purchased. So, they
[1:25:14] might have like three gates, three or
[1:25:16] four gates. And then I know that last
[1:25:20] year CERSA did on their report they
[1:25:23] asked the town to put gates on. Is it
[1:25:27] going to the wells and then going to
[1:25:29] that tank? They do want those as a
[1:25:33] safety measure that gates are put on
[1:25:35] there on the road.
[1:25:37] We have gates. We have some gates over
[1:25:40] there. We got two gates. I'm not trying
[1:25:42] to interrupt.
[1:25:44] in the boneyard up there that we could
[1:25:46] use to to secure that. I think they were
[1:25:49] bought. They just never were put on.
[1:25:51] Yeah.
[1:25:53] So, and I think that once you do that,
[1:25:55] then you can probably put like wire mesh
[1:26:00] on it. Mhm. Okay. We'll figure it out.
[1:26:05] Could I bring up
[1:26:09] subject? Is Marty totally trained on
[1:26:12] what you do around here on the weekends?
[1:26:16] I know because I see you and him riding
[1:26:18] around together all the time. Should
[1:26:20] that there
[1:26:21] be if he knows everything is going on in
[1:26:24] town, he should be driving on his own?
[1:26:26] Mr.
[1:26:28] Um, first of all, when Marty comes and
[1:26:31] he rides with him, they're doing meter
[1:26:33] reads. Yeah, we were doing meter reads.
[1:26:36] That's what they do when they're
[1:26:38] together. It isn't that they're just
[1:26:41] hanging out. I wanted to make sure
[1:26:44] because I know other people are going to
[1:26:46] be asking. Yeah. No, I'm just
[1:26:48] clarifying, you know,
[1:26:50] that when Marty comes at the end of the
[1:26:53] month, they work he works with him to do
[1:26:55] the meter reads because um there's too
[1:26:59] many and the way they're done, it takes
[1:27:02] two people to get them done. for now. I
[1:27:06] can just say when I was doing it by
[1:27:07] myself, it was taking 5 days to do all
[1:27:10] the meter reads, but with Marty helping
[1:27:13] me, we got them done in two. Good.
[1:27:18] So, we cut the time in half by having
[1:27:20] him here to to help out with that.
[1:27:23] And Marty has been really good at
[1:27:25] helping with the meter reads. We're
[1:27:27] using him at the end of every month to
[1:27:29] research with that and the chores every
[1:27:31] other weekend. And then all the water
[1:27:33] stuff, the sampling. So between the
[1:27:35] three of us were because he's here for
[1:27:37] 20 hours a week, right?
[1:27:40] He need a few extra because he's helping
[1:27:42] him with the meaner roots. And I don't
[1:27:45] think it's ever been 20. It's just he
[1:27:47] comes every other weekend um for chore.
[1:27:50] So that's four hours. Four. So eight
[1:27:52] hours a month there. And then for um
[1:27:54] meter reads this month, I think he was
[1:27:56] here two eight hour days. So he's not
[1:27:58] working 20 hours every week. it's just
[1:28:01] as we need him. And then anything he
[1:28:03] does for water, coming to do water
[1:28:04] testing, attending the water meetings
[1:28:07] that he doesn't get paid for hourly
[1:28:09] because that's part of his um license
[1:28:11] that you pay him for.
[1:28:16] Okay.
[1:28:20] Thank you. Welcome.
[1:28:24] And so that was it for the project
[1:28:27] report.
[1:28:35] office report.
[1:28:42] Well, you can tell me we got that
[1:28:43] $25,000
[1:28:46] grant. We
[1:28:49] did. We got the $25,000 grant um that we
[1:28:55] applied for in December. And so that's
[1:28:58] pretty much gone because I will repair a
[1:29:01] Mauricio Canyon well. Um that'll be
[1:29:04] taken care of.
[1:29:06] Uh how many meters? So um we got 25,000
[1:29:11] and we have to use it by the end of the
[1:29:13] year. So we requested the Mauricio well
[1:29:16] to be paid. I believe I got 10 water
[1:29:19] meters just to replace broken meters.
[1:29:22] that can't be read. Um, I also
[1:29:24] got three water meters and everything to
[1:29:27] install water taps. So, we will be able
[1:29:29] to have like the parts and everything
[1:29:31] for three water taps, the meter,
[1:29:33] everything needed. Um, two chlorine
[1:29:37] machines, one for the Mauricio well and
[1:29:39] then a replacement because they tend to
[1:29:41] go out at least once a year. And I
[1:29:44] believe that was the 25,000
[1:29:47] total. So, we just have till the end of
[1:29:50] the year to use it. and we pay for the
[1:29:52] stuff up front, but then we send it to
[1:29:54] um CDPH is who issued the grant. We pay
[1:29:58] for it up front, send them the receipts
[1:30:00] and everything, and then they'll
[1:30:01] reimburse the town.
[1:30:09] Okay,
[1:30:10] sounds good.
[1:30:13] I've got something.
[1:30:16] Back in when we used to ride horses, not
[1:30:20] that long. Back when um in the office
[1:30:24] report it would always
[1:30:28] have how many work orders were on hand
[1:30:31] and how many work orders were
[1:30:34] completed. You remember that? No.
[1:30:40] So can we have that? Can we have that
[1:30:44] office report? Yeah, I can work on that.
[1:30:47] Getting that starting next month, we'll
[1:30:49] make sure there is some sort of an
[1:30:51] office report basically what you guys
[1:30:53] got before.
[1:30:56] She's I'll be honest with you, she's
[1:30:58] behind on her
[1:31:01] um office report, doing the office
[1:31:03] report like that for our meetings. Um
[1:31:06] she has been working
[1:31:09] diligently on the audits.
[1:31:13] Um, we've run into a snake for
[1:31:19] 2022 and until he thought he was going
[1:31:23] into um a draft on the financials, but
[1:31:28] he ran into a snake.
[1:31:30] So until that is resolved and she's been
[1:31:34] doing all the journaling and everything
[1:31:37] for him and trying to find paperwork
[1:31:42] and bank deposits and statements. And so
[1:31:47] it's been a lot that they've had to do
[1:31:49] trying
[1:31:50] to get through the audits and and they
[1:31:53] work harder on the audits because we're
[1:31:57] at a deadline.
[1:32:00] And we were asked a couple of days ago
[1:32:04] CDPH if our audits were still going to
[1:32:07] be on schedule. We're hoping we changed
[1:32:10] it from March I mean from December 31st
[1:32:14] of 24. So we extended it to March of
[1:32:19] 2025.
[1:32:22] I talked to Jim Ray a couple of days ago
[1:32:24] and you know if we can get past 22 then
[1:32:27] I think we might be safe to say
[1:32:30] that we are going
[1:32:33] to meet that
[1:32:37] deadline and so there's where Sarah is
[1:32:40] put in a lot of time. I mean, I I get
[1:32:43] and I know that people think that, you
[1:32:45] know, a lot isn't getting done, but when
[1:32:48] you're doing the work of
[1:32:52] uh somebody that already got paid to do
[1:32:54] that job, you know, that makes it really
[1:32:57] hard. And then if you're not if you
[1:32:59] don't have all the paperwork and the
[1:33:02] information there in front of you,
[1:33:04] there's just so much missing information
[1:33:06] that it makes it difficult
[1:33:12] But she will have an office report
[1:33:17] complete next
[1:33:26] meeting. Okay, going on to old
[1:33:30] business enforcement.
[1:33:47] Y all table this we put it back on the
[1:33:50] agenda.
[1:33:52] We all tabled it. But did something come
[1:33:55] up? The sheriff IGA with the sheriff's
[1:33:58] department. Yeah, the town has an IGA
[1:34:01] with with the sheriff's office and he
[1:34:04] told me that we could have two
[1:34:07] off two officers twice a week. He
[1:34:12] thought three, but we'll go for two. Um,
[1:34:15] they would do eight hour schedules and
[1:34:18] they would be able to do code
[1:34:21] enforcement, anything that and it's
[1:34:23] stated on the the contract.
[1:34:27] So they could do you know when they're
[1:34:29] here then they would have the
[1:34:31] opportunity to drive around and issue
[1:34:34] the violations and whatever needs to be
[1:34:37] done through the town.
[1:34:43] He was going to make me schedule I
[1:34:45] haven't gotten it from him yet.
[1:34:49] Have a lot of
[1:34:50] cars in the wrong town with all the
[1:34:54] state license. Correct.
[1:34:57] They have license and this is so this
[1:35:00] was something that the board had already
[1:35:02] agreed upon, you know, with the
[1:35:05] sheriff's department. And so,
[1:35:08] um, Derek and I had talked about it and
[1:35:10] he said, you know, whatever. And I did
[1:35:12] tell him, you know, are they going to do
[1:35:15] because I was told that they had said,
[1:35:18] well, no, you your ordinances are out of
[1:35:22] date, whatever. But whatever we have for
[1:35:24] ordinances and theories areas for
[1:35:27] abandoned vehicles, vehicles that aren't
[1:35:29] licensed where they're parked at and
[1:35:31] stuff like that, they can issue those
[1:35:36] citations. Plus, we would have law
[1:35:45] enforcement. How about the other stuff?
[1:35:48] What other stuff?
[1:35:51] Yes. whatever it says on there that they
[1:35:55] would do the violations
[1:35:57] and and it would become it would come
[1:36:01] like you know if you know it's domestic
[1:36:03] violence or something like that that
[1:36:04] they have to take care of then that's
[1:36:06] different you know or arrest somebody
[1:36:09] you know the court goes somewhere else
[1:36:11] but if it's these violations or the you
[1:36:14] know the ordinance and all that then we
[1:36:16] would bring that judge Garcia
[1:36:20] back and bring it back, you know,
[1:36:23] into his court and then we would start
[1:36:29] issuing and take it from there.
[1:36:34] Are they going to go around when they
[1:36:37] start just give them
[1:36:39] warnings? Say a month warning or
[1:36:43] something and then after that I would
[1:36:46] think that that the town would have some
[1:36:50] type of
[1:36:52] um form or we can come up with some type
[1:36:55] of form to issue these violations. And I
[1:36:58] know that a lot of the larger cities do
[1:37:03] uh when they issue a violation, it's not
[1:37:05] like you pay a fine right away. You
[1:37:08] know, you're given ample time to rectify
[1:37:10] whatever the issue is.
[1:37:13] Yeah. I think usually it's like 15 days,
[1:37:16] I believe. Yeah. I know PBlo does, you
[1:37:18] know what I mean? They do it with weeds
[1:37:20] and and things like that, you know, and
[1:37:22] then and then the ordinance officer
[1:37:24] comes back, you know, and then checks to
[1:37:27] see that, you know, you start it up. If
[1:37:30] not, then you know what? You're cited
[1:37:32] into court. So, I mean, the choice would
[1:37:35] be theirs whether they comply or not.
[1:37:44] So then the decision is yours what you
[1:37:47] want to do with code enforcement if you
[1:37:49] want to use the sheriff's department or
[1:37:51] hire someone. Well, you know, the way I
[1:37:55] feel about it is they're going to be
[1:37:56] riding around watching traffic or
[1:37:59] whatever, they just won't be looking at
[1:38:01] this other stuff. That's how I saw it,
[1:38:04] you know, when I talked to Derek and we
[1:38:05] went over it, you know, and he explained
[1:38:08] to me. Sure.
[1:38:15] Have we had anybody apply for the whole
[1:38:19] portion? We did. They have two people on
[1:38:22] hold.
[1:38:27] So it's we can if we don't hire code
[1:38:31] enforcement then we can go ahead and use
[1:38:32] the sheriff's
[1:38:37] department and with the sheriff's
[1:38:39] department you also have that um you
[1:38:43] know they can also radio in and for
[1:38:45] backup or you know if needed right so
[1:38:49] right Right.
[1:38:59] So, he's going to get back to you on
[1:39:00] that. He's going to he's going to get
[1:39:02] back to me on the schedule.
[1:39:08] But it will be two days a week and this
[1:39:10] is what they will be doing. Well, I did.
[1:39:15] Let me I'm sorry, sister. But I'll tell
[1:39:17] you, I did tell him that I would also
[1:39:20] like that they would come, you know,
[1:39:23] like on the weekend or whatever, you
[1:39:26] know, that they do rounds in the town. I
[1:39:29] mean, we still pay. I mean, we belong to
[1:39:31] the county, right? you know
[1:39:34] [Music]
[1:39:35] and but there
[1:39:38] again was also told us that they may be
[1:39:41] able to do an IGA with
[1:39:44] this and offer and it's legal and offer
[1:39:49] some don't Mr. Romero, I know I have to
[1:39:51] look at you because you're always making
[1:39:53] faces, but it said that um you know uh
[1:39:58] Stella, he said that they could probably
[1:40:01] be able to afford some type of law
[1:40:03] enforcement, too.
[1:40:06] Well, how about if we have them do the
[1:40:09] two week two days out of the week and
[1:40:11] then we hire our own criminal
[1:40:14] course for the rest of the
[1:40:17] week.
[1:40:20] Think you got to watch on how much money
[1:40:22] you're going to spend. I think that
[1:40:23] would be the Come on. Yeah, but I'm
[1:40:27] borrowing yours this time. You're the
[1:40:29] one that retired before me. I know you
[1:40:31] have money.
[1:40:36] I know where you have it hidden. And I
[1:40:38] go visit it every now and then. I know
[1:40:40] where you have it hidden. That's why
[1:40:41] you're by the hills.
[1:40:45] Anyway, I that's just an idea with the
[1:40:48] code
[1:40:49] enforcer. All they going to do is move
[1:40:53] the codes, you know, enforce the code
[1:40:56] with the
[1:40:59] cops. Yeah. Law enforcement, we get
[1:41:03] more everything else, right?
[1:41:07] Or bang for your buck. When when we get
[1:41:10] a marshall, then we could
[1:41:13] hire a code enforcer. But a marshall can
[1:41:17] do a code enforcer because they are not
[1:41:20] always busy doing law enforce. Yeah. I
[1:41:25] mean, the last friend that you guys had,
[1:41:27] he was always at the
[1:41:29] Navajo. I used to see him myself because
[1:41:32] I drive by and wait. Wall Street, huh?
[1:41:34] Or Wall Street. He was behind the
[1:41:37] Navajo. I could see him from my house.
[1:41:41] Oh my god. Eagle eyes. See what you guys
[1:41:45] do.
[1:41:48] [Music]
[1:41:49] So anyway, uh that's an idea. And and uh
[1:41:54] Joe from Walsenberg also told me that
[1:41:58] being that they were going to bring back
[1:42:00] the police force that um if they had any
[1:42:03] extras, you know, they send them our way
[1:42:05] or refer that we're looking for a
[1:42:08] marshall.
[1:42:17] Miss G,
[1:42:20] what do you
[1:42:21] think? I would just go with the police
[1:42:25] for because I know with the horses we
[1:42:28] were gonna run into trouble there
[1:42:30] because they don't have that. That's
[1:42:33] right. We don't want We don't need more
[1:42:35] trouble. They have our authority.
[1:42:38] What good is that?
[1:42:41] Well, I'm glad you said that, Mr. Those
[1:42:44] are your words.
[1:42:46] I was just repeating what you were
[1:42:48] thinking. You're right.
[1:42:51] [Music]
[1:42:52] But you said it a lot nicer.
[1:42:56] Well, I can
[1:42:58] change. Let's Let's keep going. Yes. So,
[1:43:02] what
[1:43:03] is the verdict? So, we can move on to
[1:43:07] utility workers.
[1:43:13] [Music]
[1:43:16] Sorry, John. Oh, it was you. Sorry. Are
[1:43:19] we keeping you awake? Yes. It was heavy
[1:43:22] on me.
[1:43:23] I'm just rolling my eyes. I
[1:43:26] motion that we go with the police. The
[1:43:30] sheriff. The sheriff.
[1:43:37] Yes. Mayor Brom. Yes. Mr. Roas. Yes.
[1:43:41] Miss G. Yes. Mr. Romero.
[1:43:45] Yes.
[1:43:47] Mr. Thorn.
[1:43:51] C no
[1:43:54] Mr. Till. Yes.
[1:44:03] Utility worker.
[1:44:11] Okay. You tabled it. Tabled it. So she
[1:44:14] had to put it. Well, we had hd just for
[1:44:18] to see if uh Mr. Marcus was interested
[1:44:21] because he wasn't here that day and then
[1:44:24] you were going to get a hold of him and
[1:44:26] then he was going to let us know. Well,
[1:44:29] at the end of the meeting they hired Mr.
[1:44:31] Marcus. Yeah, that's that's what and and
[1:44:33] I asked do you want to go back to the
[1:44:36] utility worker and then Mr. Romero said,
[1:44:38] "No, that's just so that's why she put
[1:44:41] it on here, but we don't have anybody
[1:44:42] that's applied for utility worker
[1:44:44] anyway." No, let me just remove it.
[1:44:47] Okay.
[1:44:51] [Music]
[1:45:04] Something about the sewer or something.
[1:45:06] Oh, I had a
[1:45:08] new sewer.
[1:45:11] The thing is is
[1:45:13] that last meeting we
[1:45:17] said we were going to meet with this
[1:45:20] Greg
[1:45:23] Coulter, find out what the town could
[1:45:27] possibly do
[1:45:29] to work on the sewer pond type thing.
[1:45:34] What did he say that day when you and I
[1:45:36] met with him about the sewer ponds? Did
[1:45:39] he ask us to wait
[1:45:44] 13th or something? No, him and I were
[1:45:48] that day we had that meeting with him,
[1:45:50] remember? But didn't he say just to wait
[1:45:53] because we were going to see what we
[1:45:55] were going to do? Waiting on
[1:45:58] uh Carbondale or Bon Carbo.
[1:46:02] Yeah. to see how their So he said we
[1:46:06] should just wait and see how their
[1:46:09] program is working. I told you how much
[1:46:11] the unit was, right? 22,000. But he also
[1:46:15] said there's grants, right? Yes. because
[1:46:17] he gave me a name of a lady in PBLO that
[1:46:21] does
[1:46:23] u grant writing
[1:46:27] on that's on I think got to kind of slow
[1:46:32] down on it till we get a
[1:46:34] grant and redo the whole thing. That's
[1:46:37] what the he said. We do the whole thing
[1:46:40] because it that's exactly what the what
[1:46:43] um Frank Holder said.
[1:46:49] Yeah, and I can go that
[1:46:52] place, isn't it? I asked you and you
[1:46:56] said no.
[1:46:58] Yeah, I asked you. That man sent us to
[1:47:01] the augmentation. He sent his no. I told
[1:47:04] you that yesterday, but the gentleman
[1:47:06] from up north asked if you all wanted to
[1:47:10] go meet. I asked you and you said no.
[1:47:14] at that coke deal thing. Yeah, that one.
[1:47:17] Mr. Romero, but you told me no. But if
[1:47:20] you and Frank want to go, I will let him
[1:47:23] know. No, we have to morning, right? No, no. That man said he wanted to meet
[1:47:32] with you guys. if you wanted to go look
[1:47:33] at that pond in um I'll go back and find
[1:47:37] the email, but he said if you were
[1:47:40] willing to go, you know, see how it
[1:47:43] works. Yeah. And um he would lovely go
[1:47:47] show you. I mean, for that kind of
[1:47:49] money, I'm sure he'd go show you. I'm
[1:47:52] sure he will.
[1:47:54] Is that the Is that the one coming off
[1:47:57] of Coale on the bottom? Well, it is. It
[1:47:59] is Cokedale, isn't it? Yes. Yeah. Okay.
[1:48:04] Yeah. But I guess I guess Mr. Remember
[1:48:06] they want to go because you weren't
[1:48:08] here. I don't
[1:48:12] you told me no. I want to make a motion
[1:48:14] pretty damn quick.
[1:48:17] Go ahead.
[1:48:19] Thought we better have everything done
[1:48:21] pretty close and not Sir, that's going
[1:48:24] to be nine. It hasn't been changed. No,
[1:48:27] it was all right. That's right. No, it's
[1:48:29] going to be nine. It is right.
[1:48:32] Ah, this is between me and him. Oh, I
[1:48:35] put a new battery in it today. So,
[1:48:39] okay,
[1:48:42] we're almost done in March. We don't
[1:48:44] have anybody applying. So,
[1:48:48] like and that was put on there just
[1:48:50] because you guys tabled it and said
[1:48:51] maybe you should look at rewarding the
[1:48:54] ad the ad for commercial. So, that was
[1:48:58] put back on there.
[1:49:00] But like I said,
[1:49:03] Wenbergs better see if they have a
[1:49:05] capture for us.
[1:49:10] So, do you and Mr. Butter want to go to
[1:49:14] look at that sewer pond? Yes.
[1:49:18] No, I'm just asking him so that way he
[1:49:21] could contact the man and tell him.
[1:49:24] What's this guy's name?
[1:49:26] Isn't it John?
[1:49:30] You're the one that gave us the
[1:49:32] information.
[1:49:34] How long ago was it? Last month. He had
[1:49:38] a really hard last name. I don't
[1:49:40] remember. I have the email. I do. Yeah.
[1:49:44] So, you can just let him know and that
[1:49:46] you two will because he wanted to
[1:49:49] demonstrate or for you to see it. Sure.
[1:49:53] Right.
[1:49:56] Okay. So now we could move on to new and
[1:49:59] call Miss Laura with Hell's up. It's
[1:50:03] your turn. Sorry.
[1:50:05] She's like, I'm ready to go home, right?
[1:50:10] Got some patience.
[1:50:12] And she's still smiling.
[1:50:14] Thank you so much for having us. My name
[1:50:16] is Laura Les and I here with my husband
[1:50:18] and we're from an organization called
[1:50:20] the Pet Assistance League store. Um also
[1:50:23] known as PALS. We're a nonprofit based
[1:50:26] in Trinidad and we do um we're a
[1:50:29] nonprofit. We do animal services and one
[1:50:32] of our big focuses is spayneuter. So
[1:50:36] what we do is we bring in mobile units.
[1:50:40] We facilitate bringing these groups into
[1:50:42] our communities. We subsidize the
[1:50:44] surgeries to make them very inexpensive
[1:50:47] for uh the clients, the public. Um so we
[1:50:51] can get some of these animals taken care
[1:50:52] of.
[1:50:54] uh that those are very expensive. Um so
[1:50:56] that's one of our main focuses. We do a
[1:50:58] lot of other things in the community,
[1:50:59] but what we're proposing is to bring one
[1:51:01] of these clinics. I would like to do a
[1:51:03] two-day clinic here in Edar. Um and what
[1:51:06] we would need from you is a space. Uh we
[1:51:09] had the good fortune of looking at your
[1:51:11] city garage over here and I think that
[1:51:14] space would work perfectly for us. We've
[1:51:17] used buildings like the Trinidad Water
[1:51:19] Department building. We've used the
[1:51:20] Trinidad Gas Department building, things
[1:51:23] like that. So the city has worked with
[1:51:24] us on those projects. So we want to
[1:51:26] bring one of these clinics here to
[1:51:28] Agular. Um what we would also like to do
[1:51:30] is to bring our team and do some TNR
[1:51:33] which is called trapping release and
[1:51:35] that is for feral cats in the community.
[1:51:38] How many cages do you have?
[1:51:41] We actually have 40 traps 40 uh live
[1:51:45] traps that we can set. We've been doing
[1:51:47] TNR in Trinidad very success
[1:51:48] successfully for the last year and a
[1:51:50] half. Uh we've done over a hundred
[1:51:52] calves in in Trinidad. So we would like
[1:51:55] to also do that during this two-day
[1:51:57] clinic, but what we need is the space.
[1:52:00] Um so we would like to use your your
[1:52:05] garage. We can't plan the clinic until
[1:52:07] we know we're going to have it. Is it a
[1:52:10] reduced fee clinic or what it is is uh
[1:52:15] the groups that come they charge us a
[1:52:17] little bit less than what a vet would
[1:52:18] charge and then PALS through our
[1:52:20] nonprofit we subsidize those surgeries.
[1:52:23] So we can get the surgeries down to $25
[1:52:25] a surgery and that includes all
[1:52:28] vaccinations and rabies shots. So you
[1:52:31] get your animal vaccinated and a surgery
[1:52:33] for $25.
[1:52:39] So, all we need is for the board to say
[1:52:41] yes.
[1:52:44] So, someone that has an animal, whether
[1:52:47] it be dog, cat, whatever it might be,
[1:52:49] they would bring their cat. Yeah. But
[1:52:52] you're not talking about picking up
[1:52:53] strays. No. What we would do, what we
[1:52:56] are talking about, we would like to do
[1:52:58] some TNR here in Agular, which means we
[1:53:00] would find where colonies where you have
[1:53:03] a lot of cat colonies. Yeah. So, working
[1:53:05] with the public, working with
[1:53:07] homeowners, figuring out where some big
[1:53:09] problem areas might be, setting some
[1:53:12] traps, getting those animals fixed and
[1:53:14] vaccinated, releasing them back into the
[1:53:16] community, thinning them out if we have
[1:53:18] to as far as we've got some people who
[1:53:20] do want barn buddies and that sort of
[1:53:22] thing. So, we could thin some of those
[1:53:24] out. Um, but yeah, just TNR, trap new to
[1:53:26] release. Um, that way they're not, you
[1:53:29] know, the population stays a little bit
[1:53:30] more under control.
[1:53:32] So that's we've been doing that in
[1:53:34] Trinidad for about a year and a half. So
[1:53:36] and that's been pretty successful.
[1:53:39] I think we have a problem with this down
[1:53:46] do we need to give you a certain date
[1:53:48] that you could do this on? No. If you
[1:53:50] guys approve it, if you'll allow us to
[1:53:52] use that space, I'm thinking probably
[1:53:54] somewhere between April and July. Um we
[1:53:58] would like to schedule something uh to
[1:54:00] happen in that time frame. It would be a
[1:54:01] two-day clinic. So, we would need that
[1:54:03] space for two days. And that's mostly
[1:54:05] for animal containment. We'd like to
[1:54:08] have something where we can close the
[1:54:09] doors in case a cat gets away from us.
[1:54:11] And for the security of that mobile
[1:54:13] unit. Those mobile units are pretty
[1:54:14] expensive. So, we just want to have it
[1:54:16] somewhere where we can lock the door at
[1:54:18] night and know that the unit is okay.
[1:54:19] And we do have insurance for these
[1:54:22] events. So, that's a question. How much
[1:54:24] space would you need in a garage? We
[1:54:27] would need all the vehicles pulled out,
[1:54:28] but that's it. So just for a 24-hour
[1:54:32] spirit. Yeah. So we would start doing
[1:54:34] surgery say on Friday morning at 8. We
[1:54:37] would wrap it up Saturday afternoon.
[1:54:39] [Music]
[1:54:43] Is there any chance we could use that
[1:54:45] state building? No. No.
[1:54:49] I don't. But yeah, we I can accommodate.
[1:54:52] I was going to say, but you don't even
[1:54:53] know.
[1:54:56] Yeah. It doesn't have to be this
[1:54:57] building. just has to be something.
[1:54:59] Well, there's another one. Just let this
[1:55:00] space. Okay. We have It's a 19
[1:55:03] and we need to pull that in and then set
[1:55:05] up tables for recovery and that sort of
[1:55:06] thing. So, this space will work if you
[1:55:09] know how big the space is in your mind.
[1:55:11] If you have any other thoughts on a
[1:55:13] space, that other one is bigger than
[1:55:14] this one. Yeah. You know, perfect. But I
[1:55:17] don't know who we could contact. I have
[1:55:19] ladies info. I did suggest that, but
[1:55:22] then she said this would work, but I can
[1:55:24] get a hold of the I think her name's
[1:55:25] Christina tomorrow and just make sure we
[1:55:28] can use it. Whatever. I I just thought
[1:55:31] it was a dog. Well, I I would I don't
[1:55:33] know, but that I can ask. Power and
[1:55:35] water would definitely be a plus. So
[1:55:39] then water. If they said yes and they
[1:55:43] don't have power or water, then could we
[1:55:46] put our vehicles in there and then they
[1:55:49] could use our garage?
[1:55:55] Oh, they could I don't know. Like put
[1:55:58] the vehicles in the yard just for
[1:56:00] overnight. I could take the vehicles to
[1:56:03] my house and put them up in the lock
[1:56:05] gate.
[1:56:07] That might not be a good idea because
[1:56:10] people will start saying something. What
[1:56:12] if we just outside the garage door
[1:56:14] because there's a camera back there on
[1:56:16] the back side. What we usually do in
[1:56:18] Trinidad is we'll call a utility worker
[1:56:20] and they'll come back at the end of the
[1:56:22] night and they'll pull in some of the
[1:56:24] vehicles. The only thing we the unit is
[1:56:27] about 19 ft long. So that and that has
[1:56:29] to stay indoors. But if you can pull
[1:56:31] other things back in that we've done
[1:56:34] that too. So Trinidad does that. I'm
[1:56:37] sure we can arrange something. Yeah, we
[1:56:40] get it figured out. We need to get it
[1:56:41] done. I mean, the population around
[1:56:45] Angular is a little out of control.
[1:56:48] Yeah. Or the
[1:56:50] Well, not so much the cats as the dogs.
[1:56:54] They're massive.
[1:57:00] So, boards approval. Can we get a motion
[1:57:04] to motion to
[1:57:06] [Music]
[1:57:10] second?
[1:57:14] Yes. Mr. Roas? Yes. Miss Gilman? Yes.
[1:57:18] Mr. Romero? Yes. Mr. Trio? Yes. Great.
[1:57:23] And then just get back with Stephanie
[1:57:25] and let her know.
[1:57:27] And June your time frame. Our time
[1:57:30] frame. We have a clinic in Trinidad in
[1:57:32] April and then we have another one in
[1:57:33] July. I'm hoping to kind of squeeze it
[1:57:35] in between those two. So, it would
[1:57:37] probably be right around there.
[1:57:40] We advertise and then we have um an
[1:57:43] application so people can fill out the
[1:57:45] application and then we ask them to
[1:57:47] prepay just so we don't have a lot of
[1:57:49] no-shows. Um but we can come in and
[1:57:51] maybe set up and have a table here and
[1:57:54] just have folks come in, sign up here.
[1:57:55] One day we'll just send a team. Um
[1:57:58] that's no problem. We just want to fill
[1:57:59] it and we just want to spend two days
[1:58:01] here really getting the population.
[1:58:03] [Music]
[1:58:06] Thank you so much. Thank you. Appreciate
[1:58:08] it.
[1:58:13] So before you you have a quote for
[1:58:18] gravel. I need to show you where that is
[1:58:22] coming from now that we've had the snows
[1:58:25] and the mud's been really bad. And
[1:58:30] so some of these
[1:58:33] LA's are bad and one of them uh the lady
[1:58:37] called in and I believe uh her husband
[1:58:42] has health issues and she definitely
[1:58:44] does and her concern is if the ambulance
[1:58:48] needs to get to you know their house
[1:58:52] they have to go up the alley before they
[1:58:54] can turn on their driveway is concrete.
[1:58:57] Correct. And but before that, it's the
[1:59:01] town's alleyway and it's rudded
[1:59:06] and it gets like washed out. So the
[1:59:10] ambulance alone would have a hard time
[1:59:12] getting up to
[1:59:14] their
[1:59:18] place. And so
[1:59:20] he got a couple of gravel quotes. Yes.
[1:59:28] I called Walsenberg, but they right now
[1:59:30] they they're not giving out any quotes.
[1:59:32] Well, they're doing quotes, but they
[1:59:34] don't have any drivers to get any
[1:59:37] anywhere. So, I only have two quotes in
[1:59:40] front of and one of them is actually
[1:59:42] here local.
[1:59:45] I think he would like to be called
[1:59:47] local. Yeah.
[1:59:51] [Music]
[1:59:54] Well, uh, I seen the quotes. Yes.
[1:59:59] Better off getting from Robbie. He lives
[2:00:01] in town. Support the communities. That's
[2:00:04] right. And it's cheaper, too. Yeah.
[2:00:08] Yeah. He only wants 198.90 and
[2:00:12] that's uh doesn't include the tax, but
[2:00:14] Robbie said he'll do it for 180. Yeah.
[2:00:19] And that's at 10 tons. Is that delivered
[2:00:22] to where?
[2:00:24] Up here at the boneyard.
[2:00:28] No delivery charge. No delivery charge.
[2:00:31] He did not say Robbie did not say
[2:00:33] nothing about a delivery charge, but
[2:00:35] there is a fuel charge from the owning
[2:00:38] of $18.9. Yeah, I I seen all of that
[2:00:41] because everything went up to 198. There
[2:00:43] is a there is a delivery charge that
[2:00:45] they charge $45 for
[2:00:49] Robbiey's price got to include delivery.
[2:00:51] Yes, it does. That's why I was saying
[2:00:54] they only uses the one that has the
[2:00:56] delivery charge and a fuel charge, but
[2:00:59] Robbie did not.
[2:01:02] You know the other way
[2:01:04] that you're talking over there is if you
[2:01:07] drive up to that lady's main go up and
[2:01:11] once you get to the top and you turn to
[2:01:13] the
[2:01:14] left that's the road that is really
[2:01:17] bad I went through there
[2:01:21] [Music]
[2:01:23] and that's when you went up that one
[2:01:24] alleyway you go you go go by her house
[2:01:28] turn to the left that's what they also
[2:01:30] started to Because I I did I'm going to
[2:01:34] tell you when they told me cuz she had
[2:01:36] been calling me and when they told me
[2:01:39] what the lady wanted and I just said,
[2:01:42] "Well, okay. So, if we do that, that's
[2:01:45] going to open
[2:01:46] up." But like the girls told me, you
[2:01:50] know, it's the town's responsibility to
[2:01:52] maintain these ways. Yep. And the
[2:01:56] streets are really horrible right now. I
[2:01:58] have no I have no more road base at all.
[2:02:01] When does it fix? So I can't do
[2:02:03] anything. We need to start thinking
[2:02:04] about is fixing that greater.
[2:02:08] We get that grater fixed. How we going
[2:02:09] to get the road fixed?
[2:02:12] I've been doing it with the back.
[2:02:17] All it needed was that cable from Yeah.
[2:02:20] We just need to take that off and
[2:02:21] measure. Take it off. You have to have
[2:02:23] the right lens. Yes. They can make one,
[2:02:26] you know.
[2:02:27] That's what I was thinking. Derry could
[2:02:30] do the grading, right? I said it has to
[2:02:32] be in the right length. If it's off, it
[2:02:35] won't work.
[2:02:38] they There's a place
[2:02:40] [Music]
[2:02:42] in Quest
[2:02:45] Aurora, they have all that stuff. Okay.
[2:02:49] Card Quest will do it because that's
[2:02:50] what Derek told me. So, all you got to
[2:02:52] do is take it over there and he'll cut
[2:02:54] one for you the right way. Park West and
[2:02:58] Oh, okay. And I think there's there's
[2:03:00] another place in Togo. I know they work
[2:03:02] on a lot lot of motorcycles and stuff,
[2:03:04] but Togo also makes cables.
[2:03:12] Well, okay. So, what are we doing on the
[2:03:16] gravel? My motion
[2:03:18] Mr. I did it.
[2:03:29] How can he get
[2:03:31] it? May I'll call him tomorrow. Yes.
[2:03:36] Mr. Brus. Yes. I'll call.
[2:03:39] Yes. Mr. Yes. Mr. Trio. Yes.
[2:03:46] Your next one.
[2:03:51] You know, we're talking
[2:03:52] about
[2:03:55] gravel later on down the road. Thinking
[2:03:58] about a little bit.
[2:04:02] I do have some up there still. It's not
[2:04:05] very much, but I have a little bit.
[2:04:09] Should I get a
[2:04:11] [Music]
[2:04:12] Yeah, some down there. I think
[2:04:16] he usually does. Yeah, he's got some
[2:04:18] down there. Well, that's
[2:04:23] You can ask us,
[2:04:33] but yes, I'll call Robbie in the morning
[2:04:35] and see how quick you can get it
[2:04:37] delivered.
[2:04:41] Are you going to need help taking that
[2:04:42] cable off? No, I'll get it. Okay. I
[2:04:48] can't promise on how quick it's going to
[2:04:49] get done because I'm still working on
[2:04:51] rereads and there's a few things that I
[2:04:53] need to get done right away. Maybe.
[2:04:57] Yes, I'll ask Eric tomorrow.
[2:05:08] Okay, the next one
[2:05:10] is for Rick to get OQ and gas. So, he'll
[2:05:14] tell you
[2:05:17] So, I got I got a I've been talking to
[2:05:21] this Ally. She's down in Texas,
[2:05:25] and I know you all got this this this
[2:05:28] paper here. Um, the girls are looking
[2:05:30] into seeing if we need to have a plan
[2:05:33] review and design.
[2:05:37] Give you a
[2:05:39] This is the news. Okay. And the board
[2:05:41] has that, I believe.
[2:05:46] No, it's a different So really for me to
[2:05:49] move forward I guess we just
[2:05:54] need to uh
[2:05:57] you know file for the license and then I
[2:05:59] I'll start taking the
[2:06:03] classes move forward with this because I
[2:06:06] do know that we have to have this done
[2:06:08] before
[2:06:10] December and G and we have this year to
[2:06:14] get it done. Yes. How long are the
[2:06:16] practice? I can't tell you that. They
[2:06:19] didn't give me that information. They
[2:06:20] just told me to to come to the board and
[2:06:22] find out about what we need to do.
[2:06:34] And I've already started I started
[2:06:36] training with Calvin from Walsenberg. We
[2:06:39] did a three meter change outs on
[2:06:44] Tuesday I want to say. So that's that's
[2:06:48] going towards my training my training of
[2:06:54] we got three mters changed out that were
[2:06:55] not working.
[2:07:08] This training is not going to interfere
[2:07:10] with your work or situation. No.
[2:07:15] What? No. I will not interfere.
[2:07:20] You going to do it online? Yes.
[2:07:26] [Music]
[2:07:27] And this train is going to be on your
[2:07:28] own time or is it going to be on account
[2:07:30] time?
[2:07:32] I think. Yeah, we'll have to have
[2:07:34] it on town time
[2:07:37] probably, but there's a few days a week,
[2:07:40] I mean, besides, you know, the end of
[2:07:42] the month where I can take a couple of
[2:07:45] days or even a day and do some training
[2:07:49] online. As long as I get it done before
[2:07:51] December, you know, we'll we'll be in
[2:07:54] the clear.
[2:07:56] Okay. You're working you're working
[2:07:58] regular time and then you do a couple
[2:08:00] hours training. You're going to have a
[2:08:02] couple hours put
[2:08:05] no I'll just use it throughout the day.
[2:08:10] If I got down time a lot and I'm in
[2:08:12] between projects or if it's a slow day
[2:08:15] right that I can go ahead and if I have
[2:08:18] to work on it all day and there's
[2:08:19] nothing going on, you know, no calls,
[2:08:21] then I'll just work on that and get it
[2:08:22] done.
[2:08:23] He also did um he worked on that sewer
[2:08:26] line with
[2:08:28] uh Eric and so instead of in overtime uh
[2:08:34] Stephen me had him take a day off during
[2:08:37] the week he just did the chores and then
[2:08:40] he was up the rest of the day to
[2:08:42] compensate for uh being a
[2:08:46] spotter as Mr. Romero suggested.
[2:08:54] You did.
[2:09:00] I don't know. I think I'm going to have
[2:09:02] to start doing this to you when we talk.
[2:09:08] We have to keep him out of real.
[2:09:17] [Music]
[2:09:21] That was uh one of the things that we
[2:09:23] had talked about, but we've just not
[2:09:26] come up with something uh that would,
[2:09:29] you know, like he's not just going to
[2:09:31] get his gas license and leave us. Yeah.
[2:09:35] So, we have to either the town has to
[2:09:38] come up with something or have the
[2:09:40] attorney do some type of
[2:09:44] u agreement between Ridge and the town.
[2:09:47] Right. Now, what I was told before, I
[2:09:49] don't I don't remember who it was, but
[2:09:51] it was if they paid for if you guys paid
[2:09:54] for the licenses that have to stay for
[2:09:56] two years.
[2:09:58] But I'm not planning a place. No, I
[2:10:02] think it was I don't think it was it was
[2:10:05] just something that you know they were
[2:10:07] tossing around and saying that you know
[2:10:10] with the water license and the uh gas
[2:10:13] license that you know they come they get
[2:10:16] them and then they're gone. Yes. And you
[2:10:18] know the town moves out. Yes.
[2:10:23] did something like a threeyear.
[2:10:29] [Music]
[2:10:41] No, I'm just saying, you know, I mean,
[2:10:43] it's something that we could have the
[2:10:44] attorney look at.
[2:10:47] You want your wife
[2:10:58] I'm buying a house here, so you know
[2:11:09] it was fault.
[2:11:19] All the classes and all the training is
[2:11:21] online except for the field training
[2:11:23] which I'll have to do. Um I I did talk
[2:11:26] to Calvin and Calvin said when he's when
[2:11:29] he gets ready to do his training. He's
[2:11:31] got to reertify some guys this year that
[2:11:33] he's going to call me and let me know
[2:11:35] what day so I can take a day out of here
[2:11:39] and go up there and do training which
[2:11:41] will build training time as well.
[2:11:47] Okay. Now, what we need from the board
[2:11:49] is approval, and you should have gotten
[2:11:51] this for the amount of
[2:11:55] $884.35 cents for um Rich's license.
[2:12:00] So, are we going to or his classes,
[2:12:03] should I say? Are we going to talk to
[2:12:05] the lawyer
[2:12:08] to see about some type of amendment to
[2:12:11] his employment?
[2:12:13] We can do that.
[2:12:15] take
[2:12:16] his word that you
[2:12:20] know just you know get word that
[2:12:29] you know and I don't have a problem with
[2:12:31] you guys going but I do know one thing
[2:12:34] that this this is very important that
[2:12:36] the town gets done. No no I'm not I'm
[2:12:39] not saying not holding off on it. I'm
[2:12:40] just saying, you know, are we going
[2:12:44] do we approve it and then and then it go
[2:12:47] to the attorney and then get it signed?
[2:12:50] I I'll sign an agreement, whatever. Say
[2:12:52] in six months he leaves. Yeah. We take
[2:12:55] that money, you know, and so we want to
[2:12:58] then I would have to pay it back. Well, that's not the point though. I
[2:13:03] mean,
[2:13:05] but we may have some integrity, but
[2:13:08] Yeah. But still, we've had people that
[2:13:10] have come in. Yeah. And that's that's
[2:13:14] just what I'm kind of I know the sooner
[2:13:16] that this is passed, the better we're
[2:13:18] going to be. But I'm not I'm not saying
[2:13:20] we hold off on it, you know, get it. We
[2:13:23] do have to get it, but we also, you
[2:13:26] know, well, you can always approve it.
[2:13:29] And with with the stipulation, Mr.
[2:13:33] Romero, that
[2:13:39] what
[2:13:40] that the attorney will, you know, draw
[2:13:43] up a contract that is um that the board
[2:13:47] and and he agrees upon, you know, on
[2:13:51] Yeah. Yeah. for his employment.
[2:13:55] And like I said, no disrespect to you,
[2:13:57] sir. I know. No, I I I totally get it.
[2:14:00] Trust me, I get it. I understand. So, I
[2:14:02] make a motion that we approve it. I'll
[2:14:05] second it. Add
[2:14:08] as long as
[2:14:09] what we'll allow it pertaining to the
[2:14:13] attorney's approval. No, I mean, you can
[2:14:16] take the now, but once we get the
[2:14:19] contract, the attorney sign it. Yes,
[2:14:24] that's what that's Yeah, I don't have no
[2:14:27] problem with that at all. Okay. I I I
[2:14:30] just know that we need to get it done
[2:14:32] because we're in desperate need of
[2:14:36] Do I have a second?
[2:14:40] [Music]
[2:14:43] Yes. Mr. Roas? Yes. Miss Gon? Yes. Mr.
[2:14:47] Romero? Yes. Mr. Trill? Yes.
[2:14:51] Thank you guys. Thank you.
[2:14:59] Okay. Can I have my back? I'll make you
[2:15:08] We're gonna go. Okay. So, you all have a
[2:15:10] picture in front of you, okay? Or in
[2:15:12] your packet. I'm going to tell you, uh,
[2:15:15] Mr. RCA came the other day and told me
[2:15:18] that there was fine objects and they had
[2:15:21] nails. Well, my question to the board
[2:15:25] is, do you want to keep that
[2:15:28] building or would you rather just get
[2:15:31] rid of it? I I don't know what you want
[2:15:33] to do with it, but if you look at the
[2:15:35] picture and then if you look underneath
[2:15:38] it, the board's already paid for repairs
[2:15:41] to that building. And I don't see where
[2:15:44] anything was done. It never was
[2:15:47] re-roofed.
[2:15:49] Mark, you want to see me to say it one
[2:15:51] more time?
[2:15:52] [Music]
[2:15:54] Mark
[2:15:55] and his buddy down there. What's his
[2:15:58] name? Huh? Roger.
[2:16:01] Got paid to put a roof on that thing.
[2:16:03] Okay. But my question is, what do you
[2:16:08] all want to do with it? I mean,
[2:16:10] apparently it's of no use to us. Is
[2:16:13] there something in there? There's a car.
[2:16:14] in there.
[2:16:19] And I'm just the that what's attached
[2:16:22] is, you know, the money that the town
[2:16:24] paid. And obviously there was no
[2:16:28] services done to that building.
[2:16:32] And I'm not sure what we need to do with
[2:16:36] it.
[2:16:37] There's also material on the side. I
[2:16:39] guess they were going to use roof. Well,
[2:16:42] that's material. I looked at that. It's
[2:16:46] full of holes. The town paid for you
[2:16:48] material. We have a bill here from this
[2:16:51] metal mart or something in. And that's
[2:16:55] why I said the town paid for all these
[2:16:57] services or supplies. And if you look at
[2:17:00] the picture there, nothing was done.
[2:17:03] [Music]
[2:17:05] That made up
[2:17:07] right out the Sue's house up there where
[2:17:10] piano lived. Okay. They worked on the
[2:17:13] house, but there was a lot of panels
[2:17:16] outside of the yard next to the room.
[2:17:19] That's right. Then when we got on it
[2:17:23] that we had to move it, somebody moved
[2:17:25] it. Somebody took him.
[2:17:28] You're right. Yep. And it's all history
[2:17:30] now.
[2:17:31] the guy that was on
[2:17:34] uh till the key worker was it Mr. Ka?
[2:17:39] Yes. And I spoke with him and he said
[2:17:41] that he had spoke with Mr. Baldino and
[2:17:43] Joe Porz and asked him about moving it
[2:17:46] in the truck. I'm assuming the white
[2:17:48] one. And that he was told not to move it
[2:17:50] because it was so long. And I did let
[2:17:52] Mr. Bardino know this. And John did say
[2:17:55] yes that the material was laying outside
[2:17:58] Sue's fence. But he um Mr. Bodino and
[2:18:00] Joe Huarez was on the board at the time
[2:18:03] said that they were going to move it and
[2:18:05] the material you can see it was
[2:18:06] delivered to Mark Piano at 406 Pinion
[2:18:09] which is Sue's address and it was paid
[2:18:12] for December 22nd with the um debit card
[2:18:16] but apparently John said that he
[2:18:18] mentioned it a few times to Mr. Baldino
[2:18:21] and drove and that he said he was buying
[2:18:24] like whatever he didn't worry about it
[2:18:25] and it was gone. I did ask him if he
[2:18:28] thought it was used over there. He said
[2:18:29] he thought they were two different
[2:18:31] colors. And actually, my brother
[2:18:32] Anthonyy's the one that did the roof.
[2:18:35] So, from what I've gotten, it was there.
[2:18:37] And I don't know if the insinuation that
[2:18:40] is that John took it, but I know he did
[2:18:42] not. So, whether I don't know what
[2:18:44] happened to it, but it was left there.
[2:18:46] Also, I did look to see if anybody was
[2:18:49] paid for the roof, and it looks like in
[2:18:51] 2020, Mr. Walters was paid almost 612
[2:18:55] for $1,700 in 2020 to repair the roof.
[2:19:00] And you guys have a copy of this
[2:19:02] highlighted,
[2:19:03] but um I don't understand why he was
[2:19:05] paid in 20 and then the material wasn't
[2:19:08] ordered till 22. So, but there's nothing
[2:19:11] in 22 and nothing but what the printout
[2:19:14] shows for Mr. Walters for doing the roof
[2:19:17] after 2020. Yet, the material was
[2:19:20] ordered in 22.
[2:19:22] with the town's debit card. So I I I
[2:19:25] don't know what happened. I I
[2:19:29] guess moving forward that stuff is all
[2:19:33] history, you know. I mean exactly. I
[2:19:35] think we all understand that. So now we
[2:19:38] just need to move forward and whatever
[2:19:40] we want to do with the building we need
[2:19:42] to do.
[2:19:45] That's why I'm asking. I don't know if
[2:19:47] we'll sell it to Dicky. sell it to
[2:19:49] somebody and at least something back to
[2:19:52] you want to buy it.
[2:19:55] No, it
[2:19:57] you buy it. There's a difference between
[2:20:01] do you want to buy it or do you want it
[2:20:04] and I ask do you want to buy it?
[2:20:09] So I don't know what does the board want
[2:20:11] to do with that building. Well, we don't
[2:20:13] need it. We can just sell it. What are
[2:20:15] you going to do with the car? Well, who
[2:20:17] do they take over there with the other
[2:20:19] junks we have up there?
[2:20:23] they are.
[2:20:25] Well, we still need to find out who that
[2:20:27] where that property belongs to that to
[2:20:29] that one where Monica
[2:20:32] that I brought in because she has a
[2:20:36] place on Romero. I'm this place is
[2:20:39] hers. She has a a because you remember I
[2:20:43] brought that paper in. I have it. It's
[2:20:45] her deed. But I think that's basically
[2:20:47] she needs to have a survey done because
[2:20:49] we can't tell her where it is. I have no
[2:20:51] clue. She's been paying she's been
[2:20:53] paying on that taxes on that for years
[2:20:56] and years. No, I'm not saying that since
[2:20:59] she did. I'm saying her property the
[2:21:02] town took a certain amount of property
[2:21:04] from her when they when they Oh, this is
[2:21:07] a different what? They took they
[2:21:10] exchanged a piece of property so that
[2:21:13] they can pull in their vehicle right
[2:21:15] there by the yard. Oh. So they took so
[2:21:17] much property away from her and they
[2:21:20] gave it in exchange for for another
[2:21:22] piece of property and she's been paying
[2:21:24] on it for is that 20 years and
[2:21:29] she has no idea where that property is.
[2:21:32] Maria. Maria. Yeah. She has no idea
[2:21:34] where that property is. I brought in a
[2:21:37] tax. Yeah, but nobody can tell her where
[2:21:40] that property is. That's the first I
[2:21:42] ever heard of that. Even the county
[2:21:44] assessment. Nope. They said that she has
[2:21:47] talked to the
[2:21:48] town. She's been paying on it for more
[2:21:51] than 20 years and she has no idea where
[2:21:53] that property is. What the heck? It's
[2:21:55] lot 13 or something. Something lot 13, I
[2:21:58] think. And I think we have looked at our
[2:22:00] map in there, but we have
[2:22:03] address. Yeah, they have an address.
[2:22:05] They give it to it was it was an
[2:22:08] exchange town exchanged the piece of
[2:22:10] land. Yeah.
[2:22:13] They exchanged the piece of land in
[2:22:16] order to take a piece of her land. This
[2:22:18] is where where the garage is. Yeah.
[2:22:22] Not this. This no not this. No, I
[2:22:26] don't. But nobody nobody can tell her
[2:22:28] where it is. She's asked uh she's asked
[2:22:32] piano. She's come in here. Uh she asked
[2:22:35] Mr. uh Gonzalez and all they say is we
[2:22:38] have no idea where it's at. That no no
[2:22:43] that's a different one. This is up above
[2:22:46] up there where you go in the gate to go
[2:22:48] in where we got all the stuff stored up
[2:22:50] there. Not not this.
[2:22:53] So, I'm just I'm not saying it's this
[2:22:55] bill. It's this safe, but I just don't
[2:22:58] know, you
[2:22:59] know, and we've been she's been I've
[2:23:02] been asking, she's been asking and
[2:23:04] nobody can find. Well, I guess we'll
[2:23:07] have to look into that one and get her
[2:23:09] an answer somehow.
[2:23:12] Okay. Um, so what does the board want to
[2:23:17] do with that building?
[2:23:19] I could just sell it if we don't need
[2:23:21] it. Long for it.
[2:23:24] We got to find, like I said, we got to
[2:23:25] find out. Long.
[2:23:28] I don't know. We got to find out what
[2:23:30] the Is this on Main Street?
[2:23:33] That's right. It's behind Ela Bardino's
[2:23:36] house. Yeah. Okay. Across the street
[2:23:38] from where Dicky lives.
[2:23:41] Straight across.
[2:23:44] So, where are you going to move it to?
[2:23:46] What? The building? Oh, it's that door
[2:23:48] now. Well, that's what I'm wondering.
[2:23:50] Are we just selling the building or the
[2:23:52] property? Well, that's where he says
[2:23:54] building
[2:23:59] the building. Could the town utilize it
[2:24:02] for storage of No, the roof
[2:24:05] leaks. No roof has no roof on it.
[2:24:09] There's the picture. And every time that
[2:24:13] wind blows,
[2:24:15] every time the wind blows, it goes in
[2:24:18] Mr. Garcia's yard. may go
[2:24:21] down. It's a nice shape. Do we know
[2:24:25] Marshall vehicles in there? No. Which
[2:24:28] one though? I think it's the old silver
[2:24:30] one. The one that's out of service. Oh,
[2:24:33] the Matt one that um Colin used. Well,
[2:24:35] then I got to get that thing out of
[2:24:37] there.
[2:24:47] Okay. I don't know what you guys want to do
[2:24:53] with that building, but
[2:24:57] okay.
[2:25:02] [Music]
[2:25:06] So, are we going to table that
[2:25:11] until we can get a value on it and make
[2:25:15] sure it doesn't belong to Maria? that
[2:25:17] that's not hers. Yeah, we have a legal
[2:25:20] description, but I mean, yeah, like I
[2:25:22] said, nobody nobody knows where this
[2:25:24] property is. And you have I have the all
[2:25:27] the information. Okay.
[2:25:31] [Music]
[2:25:33] Well, we'll just wait on that until we
[2:25:36] find out and then in the meantime, we
[2:25:38] get
[2:25:39] uh what the value of that property is.
[2:25:44] Okay. So, can I get a motion?
[2:25:51] Yes.
[2:25:57] Pro? Yes. Mr. Bro, yes. M. Yes. Mr.
[2:26:02] Romero. Yes. Mr. TR. Yes.
[2:26:10] Okay.
[2:26:12] So,
[2:26:21] Thank you.
[2:26:33] No, we need to do the bills approval of
[2:26:36] the bills and then the last thing on
[2:26:40] there will be uh if you have questions
[2:26:43] on the 1.2 If not, we'll discuss.
[2:26:48] Yes.
[2:26:51] I have a question on the bills. Did we
[2:26:55] have to pay another leg for gas?
[2:27:00] He took it out. Correct.
[2:27:04] Yes. He's not charging us. He came in.
[2:27:08] No, he took it off our account. He told
[2:27:12] her about how, you know, pay not to pay
[2:27:14] online and stuff and then he told she
[2:27:17] told them about the delay with, you
[2:27:19] know, and he said, "I'll take care of
[2:27:21] it." He did.
[2:27:24] Will we be build for it the next time
[2:27:26] though? No, I believe he removed it off
[2:27:28] our account going forward. So, we don't
[2:27:30] there wasn't a late fee on this last
[2:27:32] bill we got for the 21,000. It's just
[2:27:34] it's so high because of everybody's gas
[2:27:36] because we had that cold spell. And then
[2:27:39] also again the town is picking up that
[2:27:44] extra you know usage on on the gas and
[2:27:48] that can't afford that same thing with
[2:27:51] water and everything else you know hook
[2:27:54] up all the
[2:27:55] utilities. But anyway that's for another
[2:27:58] day. So let's get on with the bills. Oh
[2:28:01] did I answer your question? I'm sorry.
[2:28:03] Yes you did. Thank you. I got one. Yes
[2:28:06] sir. Are we going to talk about
[2:28:07] increases?
[2:28:09] We are. We're going to have a meeting.
[2:28:11] Talk about what? Uh we have a we have to
[2:28:14] have a rate study. So we have a meeting
[2:28:17] next Wednesday with the lady from
[2:28:23] Yeah. It's not the CDPHE. She's another
[2:28:26] agency she works with. But we're going
[2:28:27] to have a meeting with her. So basically
[2:28:29] we're on hold with everything till the
[2:28:31] audits are done. That was that one
[2:28:33] night. One of them. Everheart. Yes. Yes.
[2:28:35] And then she will do the rate study.
[2:28:37] Yes. So, she's going to talk with us
[2:28:39] Wednesday to let us know how to get the
[2:28:40] ball rolling. But till the audits are
[2:28:42] done, that's on hold as well is what
[2:28:45] they said the other
[2:28:55] day. I motionally approve the bill.
[2:28:59] Unless anyone else has any questions. I
[2:29:01] can't believe that Mr. Romero did asked
[2:29:04] about check 13223.
[2:29:08] 132 what?
[2:29:17] 13223. It's too late for him to answer
[2:29:20] ask any questions. I already motioned. I
[2:29:26] seconded took a little
[2:29:33] Let's let's uh vote.
[2:29:38] Mr. Graas, yes. Miss Gona. Yes. Mr.
[2:29:41] Romero.
[2:29:43] Yes. Romero. Yes. Romero. Mr. Triill.
[2:29:48] Yes.
[2:29:55] Okay. So delinquents, they're
[2:29:58] down quite a bit from when they first
[2:30:04] started. And so
[2:30:11] therefore, those are
[2:30:14] outstanding
[2:30:23] invoices. Mr.
[2:30:25] amount. Those were some outstanding
[2:30:28] invoices. If you're talking about
[2:30:32] um what I think you're talking about,
[2:30:43] hey, so what are isn't it now like
[2:30:46] almost $6,000 on dome? Yes. I think when
[2:30:49] everybody started it was roughly 19
[2:30:52] 20,000. So, I'm trying to get everybody.
[2:30:54] So, I'm down to
[2:30:58] 13,000. What is it? 135
[2:31:00] 54782. So, I'm trying to get everybody
[2:31:04] caught up. And I mean, I don't have very
[2:31:06] many payment plans. The majority of
[2:31:08] these, if you look, are current for this
[2:31:10] month. So, by the time I do red tags and
[2:31:13] turn offs next week, the majority I
[2:31:15] usually end up with probably 40 red tags
[2:31:18] for all the delinquents at the end of
[2:31:19] the month. And by the time I turn off, I
[2:31:21] might have 8 10 on a bad month. So,
[2:31:25] usually everybody who says current gets
[2:31:27] paid before I have to start turning
[2:31:29] people
[2:31:30] off. And I did have LEAP applied today.
[2:31:33] So, it's probably about $5 $600 less
[2:31:37] than what that amount shows there. I
[2:31:39] just I hadn't got my leap applied until
[2:31:41] I did my report
[2:31:43] today, but I'm working on them.
[2:31:49] [Music]
[2:31:55] So now you want to talk about that
[2:31:58] letter. Let me tell you um we can talk
[2:32:02] about it but we cannot name names.
[2:32:10] [Music]
[2:32:15] And what is your question? Well,
[2:32:25] um, still
[2:32:28] he's talking about this one.
[2:32:32] Appropriate
[2:32:34] for the town to be building them for
[2:32:37] something that they had nothing to do
[2:32:39] with Yes, sir. They're the property
[2:32:42] owners. Yeah. All of this happened
[2:32:44] before. It doesn't matter. They're the
[2:32:47] property owners.
[2:32:49] It was that was why he's upset because
[2:32:53] you know it's one of those
[2:32:56] that every time that we Okay, let me put
[2:33:00] it this way. We are correcting, this is
[2:33:03] where everybody's getting upset. We're
[2:33:06] correcting what was done prior to. We
[2:33:11] have nothing to do with any of the stuff
[2:33:13] that we're doing. Okay, this is all has
[2:33:18] been done with prior administration,
[2:33:21] uh, council, whatever. But now it's our
[2:33:26] turn to get the town's money and to make
[2:33:30] the corrections. And this is where
[2:33:31] everybody's getting mad at this, you
[2:33:34] know, and we're not doing anything
[2:33:36] wrong. I did send it to the attorney
[2:33:38] because I told her we're not and and
[2:33:41] we're not going to argue this, okay? And
[2:33:44] we're not.
[2:33:46] No, I'm not saying you. I'm saying other
[2:33:48] people. You know, because every time
[2:33:50] that we do something with this certain
[2:33:53] place, it's always that we're picking on
[2:33:56] them. It's a vendetta. It's I don't like
[2:33:59] him. That's not true. That is not true.
[2:34:03] But this money was owed to the town.
[2:34:06] What is it? 40 um was close to four
[2:34:10] grand. four grand was owed on utilities.
[2:34:16] Okay. The property was
[2:34:19] sold and it never got
[2:34:23] paid. Okay? And so therefore, if and and
[2:34:27] this is true even as a renter, if you
[2:34:31] sell your property and utilities are
[2:34:34] owed, the person that bought your
[2:34:36] property
[2:34:37] or just inherited your utility bill
[2:34:41] because they are the property owners.
[2:34:44] And usually that's what a real estate
[2:34:46] agent does is research the property
[2:34:49] because if there is a lean on that
[2:34:51] property, they have to be notified. just
[2:34:54] the lean just happened. Well, well,
[2:34:58] still it's been on the property. I mean,
[2:35:00] prior to Right. That's what I'm saying.
[2:35:02] So, I mean, it has no it was just put on
[2:35:05] the property. I'm saying, you know, it's
[2:35:08] everything that we do. We're doing it to
[2:35:12] recover the money that is owed to the
[2:35:15] town that somebody else did. Okay? And
[2:35:18] in the process, you know, we're the ones
[2:35:22] that are in a bad person. I'm not a bad
[2:35:24] person. I'm doing what's right for the
[2:35:26] community and I'm getting back the money
[2:35:28] that is owed to this town. This has gone
[2:35:31] on far too long. You know, too many
[2:35:34] people got away with so much stuff and
[2:35:37] they didn't pay for it or it's not paid
[2:35:40] for or it's, you know, today I'll give
[2:35:42] you two rabbits for, you know, no, we
[2:35:44] don't do that anymore. and and it's the
[2:35:47] town that has had to pay for this in the
[2:35:51] long run. And we don't have the money.
[2:35:52] We don't, you know, even with the
[2:35:56] gas that should have been changed years
[2:36:01] ago, you know, and there again, the
[2:36:04] town's picking up the belt. That's not
[2:36:05] fair. It's not fair to the people in the
[2:36:08] community, and it's not fair that they
[2:36:10] think that we're doing something wrong.
[2:36:13] We're not. And another thing that I'm
[2:36:15] gonna tell you right now, and I'm gonna
[2:36:17] be very clear about this, you know, I'm
[2:36:19] so tired of one board member that keeps
[2:36:22] involving themselves in this business,
[2:36:26] you know, and no, that's not our job.
[2:36:30] That's why I brought it before the
[2:36:31] board. Well, isn't that in in the trusty
[2:36:34] handbook? You know, I'm just saying, you
[2:36:36] know, our job is not to get involved
[2:36:39] with them like that. you know, it needs
[2:36:40] to come. You know, if the people have an
[2:36:43] issue, then bring it to the board. It's
[2:36:46] not our job to be, you know, doing all
[2:36:49] this. That's why I brought it up before
[2:36:52] the board because I want to know what
[2:36:54] the board felt.
[2:36:56] I don't even know if the board even read
[2:36:59] it, but I'm telling you because I read
[2:37:02] it and I'm like, I'm not sending this,
[2:37:04] but I've already told you, you know, a
[2:37:06] building was built without a permit.
[2:37:10] You know, there's just so many things
[2:37:12] and we're the ones that are having to
[2:37:15] correct it and that makes us the bad
[2:37:17] person. Well, I'm not a bad person.
[2:37:19] Yeah.
[2:37:21] Long as we're following the rules. We're not doing
[2:37:25] anything that is illegal. If I have a
[2:37:29] question, I will ask Adam and Nandy. But
[2:37:33] I'm not doing anything. And like he
[2:37:36] said, he and then he got mad and he's
[2:37:39] saying, you know, and then he brought
[2:37:40] up, you know, about the bins and
[2:37:42] whatnot. And I'm like, "No, I don't I
[2:37:45] don't I'm not here to argue with you and
[2:37:48] I'm not going to because he's he sent
[2:37:51] him the letter and he said and I believe
[2:37:54] he sent the letter to the board and it
[2:37:57] was
[2:37:57] confidential." Yeah.
[2:38:01] the attorney did so that the board would
[2:38:03] know what the letter was. And I know
[2:38:06] that maybe I don't know if you're
[2:38:08] getting your emails, but if not, then
[2:38:09] you need to get them, you know, fixed.
[2:38:12] We fixed my Well, I didn't. They fixed
[2:38:14] Monica's the other day so that she can
[2:38:16] get her emails and stuff. And and here
[2:38:20] when the attorney sends us something, a
[2:38:22] memo or anything, you know, it's to us
[2:38:25] directly. This is not to be shared with
[2:38:28] the public. And it says on there and and
[2:38:31] there has been items because the wider
[2:38:35] attorney sent it to
[2:38:37] me. Excuse me. He sent a memo to the
[2:38:41] board in September of last year. That
[2:38:44] memo got out to the newspaper
[2:38:48] and that was confidential. I was say the
[2:38:51] hell you're on. Right. Thank you. But
[2:38:54] anyway, that's where this is and and
[2:38:57] yes, they're not the only ones. There's
[2:38:59] other ones that you know if there's that
[2:39:02] same
[2:39:03] person and it was when you're an
[2:39:06] employee you do what your supervisor
[2:39:09] directs you right and this is what has
[2:39:13] transpired and where the arguments have
[2:39:15] come and this is where we've come to
[2:39:18] this
[2:39:20] resolution I got one other thing
[2:39:25] then in this thing it talks about
[2:39:28] cutting up Main Street to do the work.
[2:39:31] My question is why in the heck didn't
[2:39:33] they go to Church Street that has the
[2:39:37] sewer line running through it already?
[2:39:40] It was for the water line. They had to
[2:39:42] cut up Main Street. Well, that's that's
[2:39:44] what they cut out for. Yeah, it was the
[2:39:45] water line. Wait, this is this is the
[2:39:48] part. Let me tell you, Mr. Romero, this
[2:39:51] is the part that there was just too many
[2:39:54] things that were done that the town had
[2:39:57] to pay for and has paid for and it was
[2:40:02] authorized, you know, by someone that
[2:40:05] didn't have the authority. That is
[2:40:07] exactly what I mentioned to the one lady
[2:40:10] earlier today about, you know, that
[2:40:13] letter and I said we nowhere could we
[2:40:16] find that the board had approved it. So
[2:40:18] those are the things that we've had to
[2:40:20] deal
[2:40:22] with. Those are the things that make us
[2:40:25] look like bad people. And with that, Mr.
[2:40:28] Romero, if I satisfied your question, I
[2:40:31] got one more.
[2:40:33] Okay. You're the one that said 8:00. I
[2:40:36] didn't. So those were your words. I
[2:40:38] figured 8:30 would be a good time.
[2:40:43] Do you guys remember when Mark had that
[2:40:45] down watery come up? We don't remember
[2:40:47] nothing.
[2:40:50] That's my comment, not my No, which one?
[2:40:53] The one down by the sew pump. No, there was a water leak down in town was
[2:40:59] losing water like crazy and somebody had
[2:41:02] left a faucet running down tank down
[2:41:05] there and I don't know how many hundreds
[2:41:07] of thousands of gallons we lost because
[2:41:09] of that town.
[2:41:12] So Mark never paid I don't think for
[2:41:16] that but was a lean put on the property.
[2:41:19] Would that be the property on Lynn Road?
[2:41:22] No, this is this is right across from
[2:41:24] the school ponds. And I don't know how
[2:41:26] long ago that was, but I I know there
[2:41:30] were See, I don't you know, they took
[2:41:33] everything out of there. But still, we
[2:41:36] lost all that water
[2:41:39] because nobody ever put in a a lean
[2:41:41] against the property. See, but but this
[2:41:44] is okay. So, let me tell
[2:41:46] you, they're learning as they go and I'm
[2:41:50] learning as we go because they were told
[2:41:55] to do these things. Okay? And I'll say
[2:41:58] in my defense, I when this whole
[2:42:00] situation that we're talking about
[2:42:01] happened, I tried to put a lean and I
[2:42:04] was told I was not to. It would be paid
[2:42:06] when the sale went through. So as soon
[2:42:09] as things switched hands, I brought
[2:42:11] everything to her Linda immediately and
[2:42:13] then that's when she took it to the
[2:42:15] attorney, but there were two separate
[2:42:17] properties that I was directly told do
[2:42:19] not file leans and I mean Sarah can
[2:42:22] vouch for that that
[2:42:24] I know I know that everybody, you know,
[2:42:28] talks about them and picks on them and
[2:42:30] writes stuff about them and stuff like
[2:42:32] that, you know, but they don't know what
[2:42:35] these two have been through also.
[2:42:38] I'm not saying they're angels by far.
[2:42:40] I'm not. But definitely not perfect, but
[2:42:43] we're trying. But I'm just saying that
[2:42:45] is just a part of what we've been going
[2:42:48] through and trying to fix. And if the
[2:42:52] board doesn't have any more questions, I
[2:42:54] entertain a motion to Oh.
[2:43:03] If we're not doing
[2:43:16] he did
[2:43:20] Mr. M. Yes. Mr. Romero.
[2:43:28] Mr. Five.
[2:43:31] Okay. So I have to tell you
[2:43:36] thank you.
