[1:57]

[1:59]
those on the line who would like to get
[2:00]
in the queue to speak, please press
[2:04]
star three to get into the queue. Each

[2:13]
state your name and address for the
[2:17]
record. While the board does not
[2:19]
respond to individual comments during
[2:20]
this section of the agenda, please note
[2:26]
we listen to the concerns and take note
[2:27]
of issues for resolution and follow-up
[2:30]
as appropriate. We are going to start
[2:33]
for all of you in the room who would
[2:36]
like to speak, I want to let you know
[2:37]
these are the two lights. When you have
[2:43]
30 seconds this light between the
[2:46]
podium and the dais, you will see it
[2:47]
when you are standing here, it turns
[2:52]
yellow at 30 seconds. The red light
[2:53]
comes on when it's time to end. I don't
[2:56]
like to interrupt people but I will if
[3:00]
I have to so please don't make me do
[3:01]
that because it makes me feel bad. I'm
[3:04]
very excited to look at our sheet. We
[3:17]
are starting here. James locus
[3:20]
>> come on up
[3:24]
>> my names is james locus 2753 w.
[3:30]
[indiscernible] south park I'm here to
[3:34]
discuss the trail pavement issue. It's
[3:38]
my understanding the pavement will be
[3:40]
16 feet across. I would prefer eight
[3:45]
feet. I purchased my house a couple
[3:46]
years ago prior to win a lot of plans
[3:49]
were made however I was approached by
[3:53]
[indiscernible] who said there's this
[3:54]
thing going on and you should know
[3:55]
about it. Why does it affect me? I know
[3:58]
I don't look like someone who needs a
[4:01]
soft trail but I do have significant
[4:06]
leg issues. I work really hard at
[4:07]
looking beautiful and presentable but
[4:09]
the truth is you can't tell what
[4:11]
someone looks like there with a
[4:14]
disability of what they look like. We
[4:16]
have older people younger people that
[4:21]
all sometimes need softer trails,
[4:26]
especially for knees, hips, not just of
[4:30]
course for wheelchairs. Wheelchairs are
[4:31]
an important part of how people get
[4:36]
around, very important part, that's why
[4:37]
paving the trail is a good idea but
[4:40]
only half of it so the other half of
[4:41]
people anybody above 40 and yes I look
[4:44]
young for my age thank you very much,
[4:49]
anyone above 40 who may have leg issues
[4:50]
or ankle issues or knee issues, we
[4:54]
require soft trails for healthy living.
[5:00]
that is my statement you have questions
[5:01]
for me
[5:02]
>> we do not but thank you very much, I
[5:06]
understand what you were saying and we
[5:08]
appreciate that comment very much
[5:09]
>> awesome, have a good day. Half of
[5:16]
the trail solved the other half paved
[5:17]
is possible
[5:20]
>> duly noted. We have staff listening
[5:21]
and they will follow up as appropriate
[5:26]
so again know that we hear all the
[5:27]
comments
[5:28]
>> thank you very much. Now we will go
[5:35]
to the first person. Mr. Mark flank
[5:41]
>> I apologize for having to
[5:46]
[indiscernible] my name is mark flank I
[5:51]
live in littleton. Yesterday morning
[5:55]
from sunday's heavy rain water was
[5:59]
cascading the new water features in the
[6:00]
open space the trail was dry and firm
[6:01]
and the [indiscernible] made for a
[6:06]
pleasant walking experience as I walked
[6:07]
down and up the trail I couldn't help
[6:18]
wonder littleton issued a contract to
[6:19]
pave the trail with a 16 foot wide
[6:20]
swath funded by arapahoe county open
[6:21]
space funds when the focus group in
[6:22]
early 2022 overwhelmingly preferred to
[6:27]
do concrete. A dual surface similar to
[6:28]
the surface in the greenway and south
[6:33]
platte park trails. This littleton.org
[6:34]
states for safety on the greenway the
[6:43]
trail features a crush stone path for
[6:44]
pedestrians and wheelchair users along
[6:46]
with paved for bikers. We got to this
[6:49]
point in large measure because
[6:50]
littleton submitted an application for
[6:52]
open space with false and misleading
[6:53]
statements to the most troubling
[6:57]
statements are the responses to
[6:58]
application question six and 10 where
[7:03]
littleton stated there was community
[7:04]
support and no opposition for 16 foot
[7:07]
wide road and maintenance of the trail
[7:08]
once paved will be taken over by
[7:12]
littleton. It [indiscernible] who will
[7:16]
maintain the paved road. It was south
[7:22]
suburban who dictated to littleton the
[7:23]
all concrete design against the
[7:24]
community wishes based on south
[7:25]
suburban own false positions that
[7:26]
[indiscernible] could not be ada
[7:28]
compliant or plowed and south suburban
[7:30]
can't maintain a trail adjacent to
[7:34]
concrete. Arapahoe county has granted
[7:37]
more than half million dollars in open
[7:38]
space funds so littleton can pave
[7:43]
[indiscernible]. In a letter dated
[7:45]
january 31, 2020 52 arapahoe county
[7:49]
open spaces littleton stated since the
[7:50]
project is anticipated to be completed
[7:51]
outside a two-year grant timeline we
[7:56]
will notify and coordinate with
[7:57]
arapahoe county open space for an
[8:01]
extension request after that contractor
[8:02]
is selected and schedule is identified.
[8:06]
the two-year grant expires in september
[8:09]
this situation triggers in my mind the
[8:12]
proverb to fit the situation a little
[8:19]
[indiscernible] allowing littleton to
[8:20]
deceive us twice shame on arapahoe
[8:23]
county in 2023 with a false and
[8:36]
deceptive statements in littleton
[8:37]
application the paving of the gulch was
[8:38]
a marginal open-space project at best
[8:39]
six out of seven recommended projects
[8:40]
with the truth coming to light in the
[8:41]
community opposition to the paving
[8:42]
project arapahoe county should not
[8:43]
grant an extension to the funding.
[8:44]
there were worthy open-space projects
[8:45]
that meet the purpose of resolution
[8:49]
[indiscernible] that are deserving of
[8:50]
the limited taxpayer provided
[8:52]
open-space funds. Thank you
[8:53]
>> that was almost perfect, thank you
[8:55]
very much
[8:59]
>> if I butcher your name I'm very
[9:03]
sorry, please correct me when you come
[9:05]
to the microphone. Jan weipert
[9:12]
>> you did that well, thank you. Jan
[9:24]
weipert grand avenue inglewood district
[9:28]
4. I've been a resident of arapahoe
[9:31]
county for about 66 years out of my
[9:35]
total. I'm discussing a situation
[9:41]
revolving around [indiscernible] records
[9:45]
[indiscernible] records are listing a
[9:46]
balance cast in elections ballots are
[9:47]
given a unique sequential number as
[9:48]
they are processed at a central
[9:55]
counting location. Proposition b in
[9:56]
2020 was to increase property taxes and
[10:00]
it passed. It is obvious records and
[10:04]
ballots continue to be manipulated.
[10:09]
last year when speaking in front of
[10:10]
this commission I handed out graphs
[10:15]
that showed liberal and conservative
[10:16]
voters danced together in perfect
[10:19]
timing when casting their votes in the
[10:23]
2020 election. One voted up one voted
[10:25]
up one voted down the other voted down.
[10:30]
this beautifully executed shows a
[10:34]
diabolical intent to destroy the
[10:36]
foundation of our constitution, and our
[10:40]
right to vote. Article 4 section 4 of
[10:44]
the constitution guarantees a
[10:45]
government deriving its power through
[10:47]
appointment by the people. Manipulation
[10:49]
of voting is not allowed. There are two
[10:54]
points of contention. The original vote
[10:56]
shows manipulation. I'm not talking
[11:00]
about that today. The second point is
[11:01]
manipulation of the cast a vote
[11:05]
records, changed and posted in late
[11:09]
march 2025. Why are they changing the
[11:12]
votes in 2025? This without notice to
[11:16]
the voters. This without verification
[11:17]
and approval of citizen oversight. This
[11:19]
with the knowledge I would guess clerk
[11:23]
john lopez unless she did not approve
[11:27]
the changes. This change also had to be
[11:28]
uploaded on a state level, meaning the
[11:33]
secretary of state most likely also had
[11:36]
knowledge this happened. It is the
[11:37]
second piece I'm concerned about,
[11:43]
manipulation of the crb cvr in 2020
[11:47]
that manipulated in 2025 is a blatant
[11:51]
attempt of the cover-up. Were you
[11:52]
commissioners aware of this was
[11:54]
happening? When did you become aware?
[11:59]
did you act? The changelings of the
[12:00]
records is a city special district
[12:02]
county state and national issue. Were
[12:09]
these entities notified? I'd like
[12:12]
arapahoe county commissioners to ask
[12:15]
for clerk lopez resignation, to request
[12:16]
the department of justice on the fbi to
[12:19]
step in, this cannot be done in
[12:22]
colorado because the sos might be
[12:26]
complicit. Arapahoe county is part of a
[12:27]
lawsuit in one additional state. I also
[12:32]
want you to protect our records in
[12:35]
place including all original ballots
[12:37]
>> your time is up
[12:41]
>> I would also ask the property tax
[12:46]
differences since 2020 election to be
[12:48]
refunded to property owners if this is
[12:51]
upheld. Thank you
[12:52]
>> thank you very much. Next we have
[12:56]
rich donahue
[13:04]
>> hello, rich donahue [indiscernible]
[13:08]
aurora. My will be brief on the cast
[13:13]
vote records, we've gotten copies from
[13:18]
the 2020 election, I've got copies from
[13:21]
2021. So we could go over and come up
[13:25]
with the graphs and see what happened
[13:26]
in 2020 because it was so
[13:28]
controversial. We found a lot of things
[13:32]
that have been beaten up by attorneys
[13:35]
and staff on grounds that they come up
[13:42]
with. What's happened lately, in march
[13:45]
the cast vote records on the internet
[13:52]
access website got changed. Here it is
[13:53]
years later and we are changing the
[13:55]
cast vote records. It seems to be tied
[13:56]
in with all sorts of manipulation going
[14:01]
on, something that needs to be looked
[14:04]
at, more than just us citizens. Most of
[14:10]
the record changes, there are notes of
[14:15]
some experts that noted it, found the
[14:21]
mistakes, they admitted there were
[14:22]
mistakes in the cast vote records. If
[14:25]
they were certified, found mistakes,
[14:27]
and the person noted on that is out of
[14:34]
state, out of colorado, what are they
[14:35]
doing with our cast vote records? It
[14:37]
seems to be a bigger picture going on.
[14:46]
[indiscernible] move forward on this,
[14:50]
we need to get this looked into. We
[14:54]
will be using whatever method we need
[14:56]
to get things moving. Also, if we don't
[15:02]
get enough action, we will push forward
[15:06]
avenues that I will be looking at is
[15:14]
using the bond that everyone is bonded
[15:17]
through the insurance company,
[15:18]
travelers insurance I believe it is, to
[15:20]
get some movement going on. I don't
[15:26]
know if we are just scratching the
[15:30]
surface of something big, or how far
[15:31]
this will go but it seems there is
[15:34]
quite a few people involved. We do have
[15:37]
some copies of some emails between a
[15:45]
couple of the computer people in
[15:49]
arapahoe county who is going to change
[15:50]
this and who could and they said I
[15:51]
don't want to touch it, tom williams,
[15:56]
we've got that and we will give it to
[15:58]
you. It seems like they were aware of
[16:01]
things they should not be doing and
[16:07]
they did it anyway. Thank you for your
[16:08]
time
[16:09]
>> thank you very much, we appreciate
[16:11]
it.
[16:12]
>> frank atwood
[16:15]
>> good morning. My name is frank
[16:27]
atwood, 7094 south castille street in
[16:31]
littleton. I'm here to follow up on
[16:35]
james his comment, marks comment and
[16:37]
steve who will speak after me. I'm very
[16:44]
lucky. Some of you are familiar with a
[16:47]
unique geological landscape in southern
[16:49]
utah northern colorado, called the
[16:57]
wave. My sister won the wave drawing
[16:58]
for six of us to do it august 28. Six
[17:03]
family members are going to be hiking
[17:05]
the wave come august 28. I am the
[17:11]
second oldest. I am above the age of
[17:18]
40. Like james. No one knows if my
[17:19]
knees or hips will survive but we all
[17:23]
know crushed is better than concrete.
[17:28]
crush fine is currently on the
[17:31]
highline canal and part of the spur
[17:33]
trail is my training program. I would
[17:39]
like you to continue keeping crush or
[17:41]
find on the spur trail so the ask is
[17:46]
the county along with the city colorado
[17:52]
department of transportation and drcog
[18:04]
add a four or five foot wide crush
[18:08]
trail to provide accessibility and
[18:12]
ensure I have a better chance of
[18:13]
completing it and not embarrassing
[18:14]
myself in front of siblings, children
[18:16]
and my wife. Thank you
[18:20]
>> we all know that last one was the
[18:22]
most important person, the wife.
[18:26]
[laughter] thank you very much sir.
[18:29]
debbie perry smith
[18:36]
>> good morning, thank you for allowing
[18:40]
me to speak today. I name is debbie
[18:42]
perry smith 5475 south clarkson street
[18:45]
in greenwood village, a 44 year
[18:49]
resident of arapahoe county. The last
[18:51]
part of the pledge we heard about
[18:52]
liberty and justice for all is the
[18:53]
reason I'm before you today, the reason
[18:56]
I have the freedom to come and speak my
[19:00]
mind, and to speak for thousands of
[19:01]
others in arapahoe county across the
[19:03]
state of colorado. It is regrettable
[19:10]
all of arapahoe county citizens has to
[19:11]
stand here before you today to address
[19:14]
a solid fact that most likely not only
[19:21]
my cast vote in 2020 and thousands of
[19:22]
others in arapahoe county and across
[19:25]
the state, were not accurately
[19:26]
reflected in the cast a vote record of
[19:28]
the 2020 election. In particular, its
[19:32]
likely my no vote or my opposing vote
[19:37]
to proposition b to repeal the
[19:41]
amendment to the constitution was not
[19:42]
cast the way I intended for it to be
[19:43]
cast which was in opposition. As a
[19:48]
result my property taxes your property
[19:49]
taxes everybody in this room property
[19:53]
taxes doubled and tripled as a result
[19:57]
of that vote. It's been proven by
[20:06]
numerous analysis, analysts from cyber
[20:09]
forensic experts to mathematicians that
[20:10]
something was not right with the cast
[20:12]
vote record. You have before you an
[20:15]
article that was written by ed sullivan
[20:17]
who is in the queue to speak to you
[20:20]
online, as well as the charts and
[20:22]
graphs that were printed for you in the
[20:27]
printed material. This is going to show
[20:34]
you the mr. Sullivan discovered that
[20:35]
has basically looped in arapahoe county
[20:36]
into a lawsuit in nevada, because
[20:40]
anomalies match the ones he found in
[20:42]
nevada as well. It's also regrettable
[20:45]
that county clerk's office and we have
[20:50]
no idea when you found out about it,
[20:54]
chose not to go public when the
[20:57]
anomalies were discovered, to our
[20:58]
knowledge as early as december 2024.
[21:02]
why was this put under the rug. Why did
[21:09]
we keep our heads in the sand about
[21:10]
this and not come forward to your
[21:11]
constituents about what has happened? I
[21:13]
would ask you have the wisdom to read
[21:17]
the article. I invite you to a national
[21:22]
press conference this afternoon in
[21:23]
front of the capital where arapahoe
[21:24]
county anomalies will be broadcast live
[21:25]
with the discovery that has been found.
[21:28]
we may have a huge class-action lawsuit
[21:32]
coming your way, toward the county
[21:34]
regarding this because all of us has
[21:41]
been disenfranchised. Proposition b
[21:44]
truly past or refund our property taxes
[21:45]
thank you
[21:46]
>> thank you very much we appreciate
[21:54]
your contribution. Karen talentire
[21:57]
>> me hello. 5356 south crocker. I've
[22:04]
lived in arapahoe county 21 years. Last
[22:11]
year you were worn by citizens colorado
[22:12]
voter registration from 2022 could not
[22:17]
support a valid election. We know now
[22:21]
the 2024 registration records
[22:22]
[indiscernible] uncertainty for
[22:25]
illegally valid election. We don't know
[22:26]
who won in 2022 or 2024. Last year you
[22:32]
worn the secretary of state prevented
[22:33]
election certifiers for certifying a
[22:34]
election because they cannot check
[22:39]
[indiscernible]. The election was
[22:42]
legally on certifiable. Those who
[22:47]
certified anyway violated their duty
[22:48]
and earned a misdemeanor under crs 113
[22:51]
107. Last year in previous years you
[22:54]
were warned there were impossible
[22:55]
patterns in arapahoe county cvr. This
[22:59]
spring the 2020 cvr, election records,
[23:07]
on the say-so of an assistant professor
[23:08]
at yale with no notice to citizens of
[23:09]
arapahoe county. Who certified the new
[23:13]
cvr? Both cvr [indiscernible] did we?
[23:18]
the cvr proved nothing now that we know
[23:23]
they change without notice. Show us
[23:24]
with our physical ballots what we voted
[23:25]
for or refund our property taxes. Who
[23:29]
in the clerk's office change the
[23:30]
election records need to be charged by
[23:33]
the county with a class I misdemeanor
[23:35]
according to crs 113 176 not to mention
[23:39]
federal charges. Who will charge this
[23:42]
person? The county clerk the da, you the
[23:44]
commissioners, you were voted in with a
[23:49]
system, you are between a rock and hard
[23:50]
place the election laws especially
[23:54]
those [indiscernible] are at war with
[23:56]
each other so clerks often cannot obey
[23:57]
without violating another. What should
[23:59]
we do? We cannot be expected to
[24:03]
[indiscernible] using the invalid
[24:05]
system. So from here on out, we the
[24:11]
citizens of arapahoe county demand
[24:12]
legally valid proof of what you vote
[24:16]
for. A republican form of government is
[24:18]
the guarantee right according to
[24:19]
article 4 section 4 of the constitution.
[24:23]
we are happy to work with the county
[24:24]
where you can show all election laws
[24:27]
are followed. But you must be
[24:30]
transparent to the public in person id
[24:31]
checked on paper with votes
[24:32]
hand-counted forecast at precinct
[24:36]
level. I handed you an ordinance for
[24:38]
your consideration if you run the
[24:40]
balance through the machine totals must
[24:45]
match [indiscernible] according to crs
[24:51]
110 [indiscernible] we can explain how
[24:52]
to handle details such as military
[24:55]
ballots. The important thing is we
[24:56]
cannot continue with the current system.
[24:59]
accountability starts with transparent
[25:00]
elections from here on out. Remember
[25:06]

[25:24]

[25:27]

[25:32]
that. Do we have a handheld microphone?
[25:36]
>> thank you so much. My name is linda
[25:44]
curry, I live at 3397 south marion
[25:49]
street in inglewood colorado. I resided
[25:54]
there for 32 years. You have no doubt
[25:59]
heard and been advised of numerous
[26:00]
instances across the united states of
[26:03]
election law violations, of voting
[26:04]
machines that have been manipulated to
[26:07]
change votes and the outcome of
[26:08]
election of massive voter database
[26:10]
errors. You are aware of numerous
[26:16]
election irregularities in michigan
[26:17]
pennsylvania nevada arizona and georgia
[26:24]
among other states and the many
[26:25]
problems that have occurred within
[26:26]
accurate voter registration and
[26:27]
database. The manipulation of votes
[26:31]
that have been proven to occur with
[26:35]
voting machines. We are here today to
[26:36]
demand the arapahoe county
[26:39]
commissioners appoint an independent
[26:40]
council to conduct an investigation to
[26:45]
determine why the cast vote records for
[26:47]
the arapahoe county 2020 elections were
[26:52]
changed, and to demand an independent
[26:57]
written proof of legal certification of
[26:59]
arapahoe county 2020 elections, as
[27:03]
required by federal law, specifically
[27:05]
the law of 2002 help america vote act.
[27:11]
us commissioners are responsible for
[27:12]
ensuring our elections follow all
[27:15]
federal laws and the elections cannot
[27:18]
be legally certified unless they meet
[27:21]
all federal laws. And yet as you have
[27:24]
been told twice before, specifically
[27:26]
with written resolutions read and
[27:27]
delivered in person to you by members
[27:30]
of the united sovereign americans
[27:37]
elections in colorado and arapahoe
[27:38]
county have been found using the
[27:41]
secretary of state official voter
[27:42]
database to have more errors than
[27:46]
allowed by law. As a result you are
[27:50]
illegally certifying elections for
[27:51]
allowing the elections to be certified
[27:54]
illegally while being fully aware of
[27:55]
violations of federal election laws.
[28:00]
these voting inaccuracies call into
[28:02]
question the recent vote to repeal the
[28:05]
gallagher amendment causing property
[28:08]
taxes to increase. We do not believe
[28:11]
that votes that resulted in the passage
[28:13]
of that amendment were accurately
[28:16]
counted. As a result of the
[28:20]
manipulation of voting records,
[28:21]
verification of this vote cannot be
[28:24]
determined, which clearly violates
[28:27]
election laws. We ask you to prove to us
[28:31]
without using the same system that
[28:35]
created a fake cvr, with paper ballots
[28:37]
and hand counting, that proposition b
[28:44]

[28:45]

[28:50]
that was charged.
[28:51]
>> thank you very very much I'm very
[28:54]

[29:17]

[29:21]
on south clarkson street, we've been
[29:27]
there for 20 years. I'm following along
[29:33]
with my counterpart, these numerous
[29:34]
violations of federal election laws and
[29:38]
accuracy in the voting database and
[29:40]
manipulation of the cvr, problems found
[29:41]
in the state voting machines. In the
[29:47]
past several elections held in arapahoe
[29:51]
county demonstrate that clearly the
[29:52]
arapahoe county clerk is not following
[29:54]
federal law and is illegally certifying
[30:00]
elections. Use of voting machines that
[30:01]
can and have been proved to be
[30:03]
unacceptable to internal and external
[30:07]
manipulation, cannot be used to count
[30:09]
ballots cannot be relied upon to be
[30:12]
accurate and do not enable
[30:17]
verification. Therefore we demand that
[30:19]
the arapahoe county commissioners
[30:23]
direct the county clerk to hold future
[30:28]
elections using paper ballots
[30:29]
hand-counted and verified at each
[30:30]
precinct and stop using voting machines
[30:32]
to count ballots. You are responsible
[30:36]
for ensuring fair and honest elections
[30:37]
that meet all federal laws. Egregious
[30:42]
violations of our elections have been
[30:45]
proven to you, you are hereby we demand
[30:47]
you immediately take the steps. Appoint

[31:07]
it did not meet the requirements of the
[31:08]
2002 help america vote act. Number two,
[31:12]
make a ruling to remove new voting
[31:16]
machines and hold handheld counted
[31:18]
paper ballots in arapahoe county.
[31:21]
caution your failure to act to take
[31:27]
these and other steps to follow federal
[31:31]
election laws may be you be held
[31:34]
criminally liable for violating
[31:35]
election laws and illegally certifying
[31:39]
elections. We are americans who have
[31:42]
the right to vote, to choose those who
[31:45]
govern on our behalf, and face the most
[31:50]
important right we have. We demand
[31:52]
election officials follow laws all of
[31:53]
them not just the ones that want to.
[31:55]
this includes you arapahoe county
[31:58]
commissioners, do your job follow the
[32:00]
law. Please prove to us without using
[32:06]
the same system that created a fake cvr
[32:09]
with paper ballots and hand-counted the
[32:12]
proposition b past as the accurate will
[32:13]
of the people or refund our property
[32:17]

[32:21]
you very much
[32:22]
>> thank you very much mr. Fullerton.
[32:24]
steve lowery
[32:30]
>> on a lighter note, I will be talking
[32:55]
about the jackass gulch trail. My name
[32:57]
is steve lowery district 1, a resident
[33:03]
for 45 years. I am a professional
[33:06]
engineer, I manage contracts for 40
[33:10]
years. To essential factors and
[33:13]
successful contracting and integrity of
[33:18]
all parties involved. In the cities
[33:19]
2023 grant application to arapahoe
[33:23]
county question number six relates to
[33:24]
evidence of a transparent public
[33:29]
process. The cities response mentions
[33:32]
three events neglects to mention a
[33:37]
number of participants or the results
[33:38]
in fact most of the members of the
[33:41]
public that did participate, did not
[33:47]
want the concrete trail. In a public
[33:49]
event in july 2023, with a concrete
[33:53]
trail shown, only eight people responded
[33:56]
and they did not want the concrete
[34:00]
trail. This is hardly a robust public
[34:05]
process. More importantly, the city
[34:06]
stated in the application quote, once
[34:11]
design reaches 90 percent another round
[34:12]
of public engagement will occur before
[34:14]
the design is finalized unquote. The
[34:19]
city never did this public engagement.
[34:23]
at the staff recent presentation the
[34:27]
city council, the engineer responsible
[34:29]
called this a quote oversight unquote
[34:34]
and indicated the public could look at
[34:37]
the website. However the website only
[34:40]
shows a schematic of the project, and
[34:42]
not the 90 percent design. Such a
[34:49]
responses does not constitute public
[34:54]
engagement. Based on polls of over 200
[34:56]
members of the public we have conducted
[35:00]
this year, it is clear have the public
[35:02]
engagement of 90 percent design happened
[35:08]
it would show overwhelming rejection
[35:09]
of the 16 foot wide concrete trail. By
[35:11]
not carrying out the public engagement,
[35:14]
we believe the city has breached the
[35:21]
[indiscernible]. To extend the ida with
[35:22]
no justification to reimburse the city.
[35:29]
what happens now? The city has deprived
[35:30]
hundreds of walkers and runners access
[35:34]
to a soft trail. The iga extended, we
[35:37]
ask the county along with other funders
[35:43]
to have a detached four or five foot
[35:44]
wide pressure trail to restore
[35:50]
accessibility. [indiscernible] been
[35:53]
modified to show how the trail could be
[35:58]
accommodated [indiscernible] the simple
[36:00]
solution to mitigate the reputation or
[36:02]
risk the county will face when the all
[36:09]
concrete trail is constructed
[36:10]
>> thank you
[36:11]
>> you are the best. Everybody else
[36:17]
turn your alarms off. I don't think
[36:18]
I've ever seen that but I appreciate it
[36:24]
and I'm pretty sure I'm going to do
[36:25]
that when I have to speak so thank you
[36:26]
very very much mr. Lowery for taking
[36:30]
that extra step. Oh really? [speaker
[36:35]
off mic]
[36:36]
>> thank you so much for that.
[36:44]
>> mila shusterman
[36:47]
>> am I close? I'm about to find out
[36:49]
>> I love your pin
[36:53]
>> thank you. You were very good. I
[36:59]
live in arapahoe county and district 2
[37:06]
for 25 years. We just had a memorial
[37:11]
day yesterday. In memory of all who
[37:14]
passed, and fight for our republic, I
[37:19]
speak to today. I was here in front of
[37:22]
you with a group of volunteers from the
[37:24]
united [indiscernible] americans a year
[37:27]
ago. We presented the resolution where
[37:32]
you could find staggering colorado
[37:37]
election data that raised concerns
[37:38]
about the validity of our elections. We
[37:44]
asked you to look into it and sign the
[37:50]
resolution. It raised our concerns but
[37:52]
it did not seem to raise yours. Despite
[38:01]
numerous calls and emails, to my
[38:06]
commissioners and to all of you, we
[38:10]
have never heard back from you on this
[38:15]
issue. Well, now we have a scorecard
[38:20]
for the recent 2024 general elections.
[38:27]
highly qualified professionals worked
[38:30]
on this data, the numbers are not any
[38:36]
better than 2022. I passed this to you
[38:39]
so you can check. Please look at the
[38:43]
numbers in the scorecard I provided.
[38:46]
our elections are not valid simply
[38:52]
because they don't adhere to the state
[38:54]
and federal election laws and the
[38:58]
constitution. I believe it is your
[38:59]
responsibility to hear us and look into
[39:04]
it before you approve [indiscernible]
[39:05]
to the clerk and recorder, yet this
[39:10]
budget gets approved in our legitimate
[39:13]
concerns are ignored. In the last
[39:15]
couple of weeks, arapahoe county
[39:18]
elections made the national news, 2020
[39:27]
cvr file was altered. Is that going to
[39:30]
be ignored also? We demand fully
[39:37]
transparent and fair elections that
[39:39]
follow the law. We ask you, yet again,
[39:44]
to look at united seven americans 22
[39:49]
and 24 data that all of you have right
[39:56]
now. And act to stop on certifiable
[40:02]
elections in arapahoe county. You
[40:03]
cannot take all of us to jail. There
[40:08]
are many of us. We are not going to
[40:10]
stop fighting for fair elections. I
[40:13]
will leave my phone number with the
[40:16]
clerk. If you call me back, I will make
[40:20]
sure to set an appointment with
[40:28]
officials who can prove everything I'm
[40:29]
saying thank you very much
[40:31]
>> thank you. [indiscernible] cook
[40:34]
>> [speaker off mic]
[40:38]
>> so you don't want to speak?
[40:47]
>> are you coming up or no
[40:52]
>> come on out. We are recording all of
[40:53]
this and you've got to be at the
[40:54]
microphone
[40:57]
>> I appreciate that but this is my
[41:04]
meeting so no, we do online later and
[41:08]
in room now. If you want to speak
[41:09]
please feel free I'd love to hear it.
[41:11]
we will go in order as per the agenda
[41:19]
>> okay. Absolutely. My name is mark
[41:23]
cook. I was born and raised in
[41:26]
colorado. I was going to start the
[41:31]
timer here. Absolutely, thank you for
[41:38]
recognizing that. I'm going to bring
[41:41]
some truth because I think a lot of us
[41:43]
are lacking truth and that's all that
[41:46]
matters here and I'm tired of the lies
[41:52]
and the deception. I'm going to offer a
[41:56]
lot of truth. I'm also going to offer
[41:57]
to spend some time with each and every
[41:59]
one of you, either together or
[42:03]
individually, because I truly believe
[42:04]
everyone deserves to know the truth
[42:10]
before they act. It's very important
[42:12]
because peoples actions are going to be
[42:14]
looked at very carefully by a whole lot
[42:17]
of people, not just the citizens in
[42:20]
arapahoe county, but in the state of
[42:23]
colorado and nationally. And other
[42:27]
entities as well. I spent 24 seven for
[42:33]
the past five years studying election
[42:35]
technology processes and systems. It's
[42:37]
very apparent there are a lot of lies
[42:39]
being told by a lot of people. Also a
[42:42]
lot of people are pretty ignorant, some
[42:46]
of them purposely ignorant, because
[42:47]
they think it will protect them, it's
[42:54]
not. Article 4 section 4 of the
[42:56]
constitution states the united states
[42:58]
guaranteed every citizen every state in
[43:00]
the union and republican form of
[43:05]
government elections are free or fair
[43:09]
cannot be republican inform. We have
[43:10]
impossible data of the citizens have
[43:11]
been bringing that to your attention
[43:14]
for years. Is been entered into a court
[43:15]
case in nevada months ago to show
[43:19]
patterns of manipulation seen in data
[43:20]
in many counties across the country. In
[43:26]
2024 weeks before the election some
[43:27]
random assistant professor tells the
[43:28]
clerk's office there's a problem and
[43:29]
suddenly they work on it but don't tell
[43:31]
citizens. Did they tell you? Did they
[43:37]
tell any of you?
[43:38]
>> this is your time to speak
[43:39]
>> I'm doing so thank you. So then the
[43:45]
data changes, randomly, after the
[43:47]
election is over. It gets snuck on the
[43:52]
website. If you look at the data which
[43:55]
anyone with to connect the brain cells
[43:56]
can understand and I'm happy to explain
[43:57]
it it is really simple you can
[44:02]
understand but there are 15.8 million
[44:04]
choices that were changed in the votes
[44:07]
on the record, that should be
[44:10]
impossible to happen. Ignorance is not
[44:14]
an excuse, in fact ignorance blatant
[44:17]
ignorance shrieks of complicity and
[44:18]
none of you deserve that. So I implore
[44:22]
you, I'm here after the meeting, why
[44:26]
don't you ask me to spend some time
[44:27]
with you and walk you through this so
[44:30]
you have your eyes wide open about what
[44:31]
is about to come here.
[44:35]
>> you go, thank you very much
[44:39]
>> I will, I offer that to you as well
[44:40]
because you deserve to know the truth
[44:43]
and you don't want the citizens of this
[44:45]
county to think the truth does not
[44:50]
matter to you. I would love to spend
[44:54]
time with each and every one of you
[44:55]
>> we appreciate your comments your
[44:56]
time is up
[44:58]
>> annette bud
[45:03]
>> hi, I'm here with congresswoman
[45:06]
[indiscernible] we did reach out and I
[45:11]
just realized now one of my emails
[45:12]
bounced back it may have been yours so
[45:17]
I will double check because you
[45:18]
requested some help from the
[45:20]
congresswoman with an issue. I'm here
[45:21]
to speak on her behalf. As everyone was
[45:23]
speaking on how long they've lived
[45:27]
here, I'm a proud resident of arapahoe
[45:31]
county for 34 years. It sounds like you
[45:32]
have your hands full with the change
[45:33]
cast a vote record and all of the
[45:40]
sidewalk and trail issues. If you need
[45:41]
the congresswoman does help with any of
[45:42]
us we'd be happy to help you. Let me
[45:44]
tell you some of the things she has
[45:47]
been doing. Congress people are allowed
[45:49]
to request congressional directed
[45:52]
spending, some of that was requested
[45:55]
for arapahoe county. If you are unaware
[45:56]
I want to let you know about it. She
[46:02]
has requested $2.25 million for the I
[46:07]
70 airpark interchange. That is the I
[46:12]
70 east of 470. It is experiencing
[46:14]
significant pressure on the existing
[46:16]
transportation infrastructure and
[46:21]
limiting growth. As you know this is 10
[46:23]
square miles of unincorporated arapahoe
[46:27]
county. Future growth and development
[46:29]
in the area will include major centers
[46:30]
like amazon walmart other developers. I
[46:34]
have a huge long list which you have
[46:36]
seen. Let's get this fixed. It's very
[46:41]
forward thinking. She wants to
[46:43]
participate and help. Anything our
[46:52]
office can do., I want to make one more
[46:56]
note from her press release the planned
[46:57]
interchange improvements are unique
[46:58]
approach to address infrastructure
[46:59]
improvement needs before interchange
[47:00]
failures occur. Investments offer an
[47:03]
opportunity to bring solutions and
[47:04]
strengthen the quality of life of
[47:06]
residents. We don't know she will have
[47:08]
this approved but she is working on
[47:12]
behalf of arapahoe county. We would
[47:13]
like to help you with anything else we
[47:14]
are happy to write letters of support,
[47:16]
whatever project we talked about
[47:19]
before, you were asking about, we are
[47:23]
here to help. Reach out to us, I will
[47:26]
try to make as many of the meetings as
[47:30]
I can. I will get that email that
[47:34]
bounced back I feel bad because you
[47:35]
were the one that bounced back
[47:36]
>> it was not me
[47:38]
>> okay. We will figure it out. I can
[47:43]
leave my card, but you already have it.
[47:45]
thank you

>> and, kendra is coming to assist
[47:55]
>> welcome to the access live event

[48:03]
>> [indiscernible] what has happened is
[48:05]
we lost our audio phone. We are getting
[48:09]
folks back in the queue. And working
[48:14]
that out so everyone has the
[48:16]
opportunity to speak.
[48:22]
>> thank you very much. Are we ready
[48:36]
now, michelle? Is everything back
[48:40]
online?
[48:41]
>> we can hear you commissioner
[48:45]
>> great, we will move forward with
[48:46]
who's in the room and the folks online,
[48:48]
if they were able to get back online we
[48:52]
will hear from them. Rebecca kander

[49:15]
centennial. I've been a resident of
[49:19]
colorado for 31 years. I'm here in
[49:20]
support of those who have spoke very
[49:24]
much especially appreciate the research
[49:26]
they have done with respect to our
[49:31]
voting. I wanted to stay away
[49:35]
truthfully, I have 1000 other things I
[49:36]
need to be doing for other people. Yet
[49:41]
yesterday, it was memorial day and
[49:42]
thank you about the 1.2 million service
[49:46]
who died so we can self govern. I could
[49:53]
not. The truth is, if we aren't able to
[49:59]
know where all the votes went, then we
[50:02]
don't know who is governing. It is
[50:07]
super important. It is foundational. My
[50:17]
uncle used to finance his whole
[50:20]
vacation by saving his change. This is
[50:26]
one place where we have some control,
[50:30]
you have some control. Please, for your
[50:34]
sake, for our children's sake, for the
[50:38]
sake of those who have given their
[50:39]
lives, do something with it. Do the
[50:47]
investigation. And yes, I want my money
[50:48]
back if I find out my vote has been
[50:50]
changed, and my property taxes were
[50:52]
altered. And I like the idea of leaving
[50:59]
the fines in place because they work
[51:04]
well. Be careful of the drainage thank
[51:05]
you guys
[51:06]
>> thank you for your remarks. Greg

[51:13]
>> good morning board of commissioners,
[51:25]
greg sullivan 7775 southfield in
[51:29]
littleton district 4, here to talk
[51:30]
about say no to costco to gas pumps I
[51:35]
talked to you before. I said last time
[51:36]
I wanted to come back with more
[51:40]
information for you. I said I would
[51:42]
talk about the health [indiscernible]
[51:44]
32 gas pumps. It is tremendously bad I
[51:48]
have given you a flyer it estimates
[51:55]
using 500 students and children within
[51:56]
500 meters of the 32 gas pumps, I won't
[52:02]
go through all the numbers you have
[52:03]
direct cost attributed cost indirect
[52:04]
cost intangible costs. I listed them
[52:08]
for you. $50,000 per year for 50
[52:12]
students affected by asthma. Asthma 10
[52:15]
percent of children in the us have
[52:17]
asthma. It's a good number to work off
[52:20]
of. The second thing is, I want to read
[52:24]
to you based upon the health impacts. I
[52:28]
want to read to you a petition. The
[52:37]
petition letter states, you have it in
[52:39]
front of you, public health to costco
[52:44]
fuel center near schools. Public health
[52:47]
we the signatures of the petition ask
[52:52]
for stopping costco 32 gas pumps. I
[52:57]
have 280 signatures now on the petition.
[53:03]
we respectively petition arapahoe
[53:04]
board of county commissioners to deny
[53:07]
or relocate the proposed fuel center
[53:09]
with 32 pumps, which is currently
[53:13]
planned to be constructed within 500
[53:14]
meters of two schools elder care and
[53:18]
neighborhoods. It's ridiculous that was
[53:27]
approved. The proposal poses a
[53:29]
significant health risk to children
[53:30]
particularly through benzene foc
[53:33]
exposure. Elevated asthma as I just
[53:37]
told you the cost. We are local
[53:43]
citizens in arapahoe county who attend
[53:44]
schools here in this area would be
[53:50]
exposed to even during school hours and
[53:53]
outdoor activities. [indiscernible]
[53:54]
park is right down the street, kids
[53:57]
play there every saturday and
[53:59]
throughout the week. These are things
[54:00]
that have to be addressed. We request
[54:06]
to deny the approval of costco fuel
[54:07]
center in the current proposal,
[54:10]
commissioned an independent health
[54:11]
impact assessment and air quality. For
[54:14]
the attorney that is the petition
[54:16]
before you. Attorney for the county, I
[54:19]
want you to look at this ruling in
[54:29]
[indiscernible] county maryland, costco
[54:31]
versus montgomery county. They denied
[54:33]
16 gas pumps, we have 32, it's not
[54:40]
necessary. The county overturn costco
[54:42]
and lost that one, costco is not
[54:46]
indefensible, invincible you can do it
[54:49]
thank you
[54:50]
>> thank you very much for your
[54:56]
comments mr. Sullivan. Since james
[54:57]
locust had to go, and he did his first,
[55:00]
that completes the in the room speakers
[55:03]
and now we will go online. As a
[55:08]
reminder to the folks on the phone, I
[55:13]
will let you know unless you've got
[55:16]
your time are going, I will let you
[55:17]
know when you get to 30 seconds and
[55:18]
when you need to stop. Michelle?

[55:38]

[55:44]
commissioners for being able to make
[55:48]
comments by phone. I had a scheduling
[55:49]
conflict by may 13 comments to
[55:50]
commissioners were revised and
[55:53]
presented city council may 20 meeting,
[55:56]
that papermaking the spur trail plan
[56:01]
[indiscernible] was attached to the
[56:05]
email I transmitted in today's comment
[56:11]
to commissioner last night. Early on
[56:12]
this morning I discovered I inadvertently
[56:14]
attached the wrong graph so apologies
[56:15]
on the email for the second attachment
[56:20]
earlier today in that first email I
[56:23]
asked that special attention be given a
[56:24]
graphic illustration on the first page,
[56:30]
I know [indiscernible] it illustrates
[56:31]
how the city neglected three or four
[56:33]
central recreation dimensions for the
[56:37]
mineral gulch spur trail,
[56:38]
[indiscernible] improvements phase 1
[56:41]
project. Numbers two and four in the
[56:42]
green shaded box in the upper ran hand
[56:46]
corner, instead it only focuses on
[56:49]
activities many citizens so why comment
[56:53]
further all of the adverse comments
[56:57]
from city council and staff has
[56:58]
received about the mineral gulch spur
[57:01]
trail of the project [indiscernible]
[57:03]
still be unaware of the significant
[57:07]
planning errors and omissions and
[57:11]
deficiencies in the project. Instead
[57:19]
council majority repeated a fear when
[57:20]
any modifications to plans oversights
[57:21]
and deficiencies would make department
[57:22]
secure for the whole project and now it
[57:23]
appears city staff misled citizens and
[57:28]
council [indiscernible] and trail users
[57:32]
and respect the mineral gulch setting
[57:35]
itself. Citizens come from the city
[57:39]
would have easily met mobility goals by
[57:42]
a dual trail design and the hard
[57:48]
surface trail among the trees growing
[57:49]
between the existing trail mineral
[57:52]
avenue city staff denied that
[58:00]
feasibility [indiscernible] it appears
[58:01]
the cities rejection of some recreation
[58:04]
signs and reason logic represents a
[58:07]
disregard for citizens and recreational
[58:08]
trail users and I like. Last but not
[58:11]
least it was argued the project had to
[58:13]
proceed without delay due to highway
[58:16]
safety concerns at the pedestrian
[58:23]
crossing [indiscernible] but warning
[58:24]
signs further downhill to give adequate
[58:29]
advance warning would immediately
[58:32]
reduce the risk. Therefore not appear
[58:34]
invisible to request funding be withheld
[58:44]
to allow time for the city to modify
[58:45]
the spur trail portion of the project
[58:46]
by correcting as many errors and
[58:47]
capturing missed opportunities for
[58:49]
funding partners and the citizens being
[58:53]
served and hopefully put the city of
[58:54]
littleton on a responsive path forward
[58:55]
thank you very much
[58:56]
>> thank you we appreciate it
[59:01]
>> michelle?
[59:07]
>> our next caller is the last four
[59:10]

[59:11]
address for the record and go ahead
[59:16]
>> good afternoon, my name is edward
[59:19]
solomon [indiscernible] ridge new york.
[59:27]
I'm starting with article 4 section 4
[59:28]
united states constitution upon we
[59:29]
filed in the nevada courts. United
[59:33]
states shall guarantee every state in
[59:34]
the union republican form of
[59:35]
government, shall guarantee not make
[59:40]
hopeful. Any state whose elections are
[59:42]
not free or fair cannot be republican
[59:44]
inform, line 1 in our court case. What
[59:49]
happened in arapahoe county and across
[59:53]
america, and what is still happening in
[59:57]
2024 with lockstep, it's a
[59:58]
constitutional crisis not a clerical
[1:00:02]
error. Arapahoe is not an isolated
[1:00:05]
incident. Across the state in colorado
[1:00:08]
nevada maryland georgia florida
[1:00:09]
pennsylvania michigan, you find me any
[1:00:14]
ballot propositional raising taxes or
[1:00:19]
on abortion, ballot measure that should
[1:00:20]
be split on partisan lines, instead I
[1:00:25]
get perfect lockstep motion between
[1:00:29]
democrat and republican candidates, by
[1:00:30]
trump and biden or trump and kamala
[1:00:34]
these tell me ideological opposites but
[1:00:37]
for reasons that ratio move in perfect
[1:00:41]
harmony that's because the behaviors
[1:00:42]
being controlled by an external force.
[1:00:45]
when we submitted this in the nevada
[1:00:47]
court last year, in that case is still
[1:00:51]
ongoing, what did arapahoe county do?
[1:00:54]
they released a new vote record,
[1:01:02]
one that erases the lockstep motion but
[1:01:03]
in doing so arapahoe county did the
[1:01:04]
amazing thing in american history they
[1:01:07]
[indiscernible] across the united
[1:01:08]
states that are in terrible error. You
[1:01:12]
prove that lockstep motion cannot occur
[1:01:16]
naturally, free and fair elections do
[1:01:17]
not come with engineered geometrical
[1:01:20]
symmetry. You won our case in the
[1:01:24]
nevada. This lockstep motion occurs
[1:01:28]
again in your 2024 elections and it
[1:01:29]
happens again in the new cvr, just in
[1:01:35]
different ratios. What I want to know
[1:01:37]
personally is why was the nevada court
[1:01:42]
[indiscernible] the plaintiff and the
[1:01:45]
thompson or I detected this across
[1:01:49]
state lines why weren't we notified of
[1:01:50]
these changes and ongoing litigation.
[1:01:53]
why were the citizens of arapahoe
[1:01:57]
notified until after a half-hour after
[1:01:58]
I called the fbi? I have no authority
[1:02:04]
[indiscernible] without disclosing the
[1:02:07]
nevada courts, you tampered with
[1:02:09]
evidence across state lines. The fbi
[1:02:12]
and doj are making official inquiries
[1:02:15]
on this. So so help you god open to the
[1:02:20]
fbi I will go to pam bondi right now
[1:02:23]
before it's too late
[1:02:24]
>> thank you for your comments
[1:02:28]
>> with that, do we have anyone else
[1:02:30]
online?
[1:02:34]
>> commissioners, there is no one else
[1:02:37]
in the queue at this time
[1:02:38]
>> thank you very very much.
[1:02:40]
>> know you may not [speaker off mic].
[1:02:49]
you may not, I am running this meeting,
[1:02:55]
as a reminder while the board does not
[1:02:56]
respond to individual comments during
[1:02:57]
the section of the agenda, please note
[1:03:01]
we listen to these concerns we take
[1:03:02]
note of the issues for resolution. I
[1:03:06]
can share that a lot of what has been
[1:03:07]
said in the room today has been
[1:03:11]
addressed by the county commissioners
[1:03:15]
and we look forward to repeating some
[1:03:18]
things and sharing more things with our
[1:03:24]
constituents we encourage you to email
[1:03:31]
us at commissioners@arapahoegov.com. If
[1:03:32]
we were not able to hear your comments
[1:03:34]
today. We will move forward. I do
[1:03:41]
apologize for being clear and succinct
[1:03:47]
in my care for the agenda as presented.
[1:03:51]
thank you very much. Now we are moving
[1:03:54]
on. We have one proclamation to issue,
[1:04:02]
recognizing may 2025 as asian american
[1:04:06]
and pacific islander heritage. Before I
[1:04:07]
ask for the motion to approve the
[1:04:10]
proclamation I would like to welcome
[1:04:11]
commissioner rhonda fields to the dais
[1:04:15]
thank you very much for racing to get
[1:04:17]
here from your event. We appreciate it.
[1:04:21]
is there a motion to approve the
[1:04:23]
proclamation?
[1:04:29]
>> madam chair, commissioner campbell,
[1:04:33]
I move we approve the proclamation
[1:04:41]
establishing and recognizing may 2025
[1:04:42]
as asian american and pacific islander
[1:04:44]
heritage month. I will second that
[1:04:45]
motion
[1:04:48]
>> it has been made to approve the
[1:04:55]
proclamation by commissioner campbell,
[1:04:56]
properly seconded by commissioner
[1:04:58]
baker. All in favor? I will read the
[1:05:05]
proclamation. A proclamation
[1:05:08]
establishing may 2025 as asian american
[1:05:09]
and pacific islander heritage month.
[1:05:16]
whereas the united states recognizes
[1:05:17]
may as asian american and pacific
[1:05:20]
islander heritage month celebrating the
[1:05:22]
extraordinary contributions rich
[1:05:23]
cultural heritage and diverse
[1:05:25]
traditions of americans and of asian
[1:05:30]
and pacific islander descent. Whereas
[1:05:34]
asian-americans and pacific islanders
[1:05:35]
represent more than 30 countries and
[1:05:38]
ethnic groups speaking over 100
[1:05:39]
languages have strengthened our nation
[1:05:40]
through their achievements in art
[1:05:44]
science business medicine education
[1:05:48]
government and military service.
[1:05:51]
whereas president jimmy carter chose
[1:05:52]
made because it commemorates the
[1:05:53]
immigration of the first japanese
[1:05:56]
citizen [indiscernible] to the united
[1:05:57]
states on may 7, 1843 and is also the
[1:06:04]
anniversary of the may 10, 1869
[1:06:05]
completion of the first
[1:06:10]
transcontinental railroad built with
[1:06:11]
the backbreaking labor of nearly 20,000
[1:06:15]
chinese immigrants. Whereas in
[1:06:19]
celebrating the aapi communities we
[1:06:22]
must also recognize the discrimination
[1:06:23]
exclusion outright violence they
[1:06:24]
continue to face to this day.
[1:06:27]
throughout our history aapi have been
[1:06:28]
the target of violence t efforts to at
[1:06:42]
the federal state and local level and
[1:06:43]
whereas we honor the courage and
[1:06:44]
resilience of aapi communities who have
[1:06:45]
overcome prejudice anniversary
[1:06:46]
throughout our history and in a time
[1:06:48]
when many are trying to erase the more
[1:06:49]
troublesome aspects of the american
[1:06:53]
story and by disregarding or ignoring
[1:06:55]
transgressions of our past, we are at
[1:07:00]
risk of repeating them. Whereas 20
[1:07:02]
million asian-americans and pacific
[1:07:03]
islanders live in the united states and
[1:07:06]
continue, to enrich our national fabric
[1:07:12]
to their vibrant cultural traditions
[1:07:13]
entrepreneurial spirit innovative
[1:07:14]
leadership and dedication to public
[1:07:17]
service. Now therefore the arapahoe
[1:07:22]
county board of county commissioners
[1:07:23]
proclaim may 2025 as the asian american
[1:07:24]
and pacific islander heritage month and
[1:07:27]
call upon all residents to celebrate
[1:07:31]
the immeasurable contributions of the
[1:07:33]
aapi communities to learn about their
[1:07:34]
histories and commit to the principles
[1:07:36]
of inclusion understanding and respect
[1:07:39]
for all people.
[1:07:44]
>> thank you very much thank you
[1:07:45]
commissioner fields
[1:07:49]
>> are there commissioner comments on
[1:07:50]
the proclamation?
[1:07:52]
>> commissioner campbell
[1:07:55]
>> I wanted to note that I am very
[1:08:00]
proud to have the highest concentration
[1:08:06]
of south asian americans in my
[1:08:11]
district, in the state. I think you can
[1:08:12]
see through the vibrant contributions
[1:08:15]
they made, the beautiful holy festival
[1:08:19]
we have, and I wanted to recognize our
[1:08:21]
living history and arapahoe county, pk
[1:08:27]
kaiser is our first aapi elected
[1:08:34]
official countywide, our assessor, has
[1:08:35]
done incredible work in that role and
[1:08:38]
has brought a perspective and brought a
[1:08:44]
community to the table that did not
[1:08:45]
previously have representation at the
[1:08:47]
county level. Just wanted to
[1:08:50]
acknowledge that, shout out to my
[1:08:54]
amazing constituents for making
[1:08:56]
district 2 the best district and very
[1:09:06]
happy and excited to be welcomed into
[1:09:07]
that community and celebrate with them
[1:09:11]
in various ways. That's all thank you
[1:09:12]
madam chair
[1:09:13]
>> thank you commissioner campbell. Any
[1:09:17]
other comments on asian-pacific
[1:09:19]
heritage month? I have a comment. I
[1:09:23]
want to reiterate what was in the
[1:09:28]
proclamation, so much of what is good
[1:09:32]
about infrastructure in the country is
[1:09:33]
because of the chinese people who built
[1:09:36]
the railroad. That is a very important
[1:09:42]
aspect to me, and to all of the
[1:09:44]
residents of arapahoe county regardless
[1:09:45]
of their station or ethnicity or
[1:09:46]
religion, they are welcome here. I am
[1:09:52]
proud to offer the proclamation
[1:09:59]
establishing may 2025 as asian american
[1:10:01]
pacific islander heritage month. If we
[1:10:02]
have no other comments, we will take a
[1:10:06]
moment to memorialize this with a
[1:10:09]
photo. Let's head back and get a
[1:10:11]
picture.
[1:10:17]
>> deputy hamilton?
[1:10:20]
[1:10:51]
>> we are back. We took our quick photo
[1:11:55]
to memorialize the proclamation. We
[1:11:56]
have seven items on the consent agenda.
