[20:22] we get our foot in the door with this program, we have an opportunity to bring

[20:26] historic preservation specialists who normally if you had to pay out of pocket

[20:30] to get people like that to come down and look at your house, your property, and

[20:33] say, "Hey, what do I do with this?" or I have this substrate, what it would be uh

[20:38] just ridiculously expensive, but we're we're trying to get our foot in the door

[20:42] so we can bring those experts down at other occasions who would make their

[20:46] services available free to village residents. Um that program will be from

[20:51] uh 2:00 to 4 on that Sunday. We will have the armory open. We will give a

[20:56] presentation of our newly refurbished space in here that

[21:01] we're working very hard on. and um we will offer refreshments and that program

[21:06] is paid for by the Ohio State Historic Preservation Office. Uh on October 3rd,

[21:12] we are lucky enough to have uh the Ukrainian violinist Dr. Andre Isakov,

[21:17] who is a professor of violin at Ohio State University. He's going to play a

[21:23] program for us. I do not have the entire program yet, but the folk piece that he

[21:27] has chosen um for his performance at 7:30 on the night of October 3rd is

[21:33] Yankee Doodle. Um he's also asked if we have a piano here, and I was very happy

[21:38] to say yes, we actually do have a very nice Baldwin piano here. So, I believe

[21:44] he's bringing a pianist with him as well. And uh we're going to have him

[21:48] evaluate our uh historic violin made here in Claremont County while he's down

[21:51] here. Um, I also wanted to mention as a an aside that um I concur with the

[21:57] gentleman's comments uh earlier uh about the friendliness and helpfulness of the

[22:02] officials and staff of this village. I've lived here for 26 years.

[22:08] They haven't always been friendly. They always haven't always been open-minded.

[22:12] This is the friendliest climate that I have seen, the most helpful climate that

[22:16] I've seen in this village. And it fills me with a tremendous amount of hope. um

[22:19] not just as a resident but as a property owner here. And um on the subject of

[22:25] accessibility um I teach online and in person and I

[22:31] have to have 100% compliance in my courses on accessibility. I would be

[22:36] happy to work with you and see if we could make use of some of the resources

[22:40] with University of Cincinnati to make sure that we're in compliance on our

[22:45] website here uh because they are a juggernaut of this process. Uh but I've

[22:50] been I've been making my courses compliant for two decades before it was

[22:55] mandated. Okay. So, I understand what you're saying. I believe in it. It's

[23:00] possible. It's a pain in the ass. It >> is a total pain in the ass.

[30:31] calls for service. There are 57 traffic stops, 13 citations, 44 written

[30:37] warnings, 14 crash reports, three arrests, two warrants served, 20

[30:43] incident reports, three offense reports. There were 36 public records requests.

[30:48] There were 13 mutual aid requests and there were 155 blockheads.

[31:00] love that that we're not like a a speed trap that people are going through. I

[32:15] pursuant to Ohio Revised Code section 121.22

[32:20] G3. That's to meet with legal counsel to discuss pending or eminent litigation.

[32:26] U, there's no request for action to be taken. So, we can do it later rather

[32:30] than have the crowd sit here while we meet. Um, so I would ask for that later.

[32:35] Uh the only other thing of of note in the last month that took place was we

[32:39] did have a meeting with the court on the CRT zoning violation matter. Uh we had

[32:45] previously mediated the case and thought there was potentially a framework that

[32:49] could be discussed to move forward toward the possibility of resolving the

[32:52] condition of the property. Um and as is uh of note in relation to that property,

[32:58] um promises were made and then promises could not be followed up on and that's

[33:03] not by the village. Therefore, uh we've asked the court and Judge Brock was kind

[33:08] enough to get us on his schedule and we are set for trial in November. There

[33:12] will be a trial in November. At that point, um it will be a request from me

[33:18] as the solicitor for the village uh for in the event that we are successful

[33:22] final orders with respect to the condition of the property. There is

[33:26] currently a permanent injunction on the property. So, it would simply be a

[33:30] matter of uh should we succeed in order to allow the village to go in and

[33:34] remediate the multitude of vehicles currently parked on the property. Um

[33:41] those are the things my office took care of in the last month uh that are a

[33:45] matter of public discussion that are not attorney client privileged. Thank you.

[34:21] court process. um that we currently have no planning and zoning commission cases

[34:27] scheduled. Um as far as the administrator side, Maddox Industrial

[34:33] Transformers is sponsoring another music on Main tomorrow night uh in the Kathy

[34:38] Turner Park right here next to the building. I did speak with a developer

[34:42] of the Harvest or the uh Riverpoint Apartments. Um they are going to be

[34:47] starting within the next week marking where the buildings are going to go and

[34:52] they hope to start moving more dirt to the site uh soon afterward. Uh he did

[34:58] advise that with the amount of dirt that they needed to bring in, it may take two

[35:02] to three months to bring it in and move it where they need to move it.

[35:08] No update on the streamside rental properties. uh Betavia Schools, they

[35:13] continue to support our commercial development. Uh the school was happy

[35:17] with the progress on the park that we've made on Broadway. Uh if you haven't been

[35:21] down there, we did create a full circle walking path now. Um so you can actually

[35:26] walk around the property without having to go in the grass or on Clark Street in

[35:30] the back. Um and it's uh few people that I spoke to out there are u really

[35:36] enjoying it and they like that it's there. Um,

[35:39] no updates with UC Claremont. Uh, I did speak with Casey's. Uh, they're moving

[35:44] along on the construction. Uh, they were ran into some delays with pouring the

[35:50] footers for their canopy. They had hoped to be open by the end of September. Uh,

[35:55] but it looks like it's probably going to be mid October before they open. Now,

[35:59] um, still working with the engineering firm for the final engineering for the

[36:04] foundry sidewalk grant. uh the Herald Road interchange, that project has been

[36:09] completed. Um I didn't receive any response back

[36:14] from Norton Signs on when they plan to start the construction of the sign there

[36:19] at the uh Red Barn property. Um public works, they started clearing the

[36:26] riverbank area of the the low brush and everything. It's they've done a great

[36:32] job and went really quick to get that done to start working on that park

[36:36] project. Um Wayne, I did have one question for you. You know when they're

[36:40] start supposed to start the paving project?

[36:44] » Yeah, it's >> I hadn't heard either. Still waiting on

[36:47] the start date for the pave road paving project. And that concludes my report.

[36:55] take just in case the people wanted to know, do you want to say where that

[36:59] paving project is going to be at? >> Um, yeah. I'm not sure what area it is,

[37:03] but it's up Shelly Drive and up that area is where most of the roads will be

[37:07] done. There are some spots in a couple of other roadways that are deteriorated

[37:12] that are also going to be fixed during that paving project.

[37:20] a comment. So on Herald the Herald Road, uh boy, we need to do something there,

[37:27] you know, as far as the the people trying to leave uh on Herald Road and

[37:31] get on the 32 or uh we need like a turn lane. We need something needs to be done

[37:36] there. Uh especially even trying to slow down if you're going uh westbound on 32

[37:42] towards Herald Road, trying to turn right, there's no turn lane there. and

[37:46] uh something needs to be done there to uh h how do we how do we get the ball

[37:51] rolling on that because that's uh public safety. And so the original plan was

[37:57] after this improvement was made to look at grant funding through the Ohio

[38:03] Department safety grant to do an acceleration and deceleration lane on

[38:08] both sides of 32.

[38:13] Is there anything we can do to speed that process up? I mean, do we u It is

[38:19] pretty dangerous up there. I' i've driven up to both neighborhoods. Uh but

[38:36] make that better or how we can maybe expedite that.

[38:45] Yeah, I have a question. It was already brought up by the public about the

[38:50] agenda not being posted online in the and the previous minutes. I understand

[38:57] the discussion this past week that was supposed to be taking place. is could we

[39:02] get a timeline on when we're going to get into a routine of putting the

[39:08] information up there for the public?

[39:13] » Yeah, I spoke with uh John today um about that and they are they have a

[39:20] bunch of line items that they're still working on to finish up on the website

[39:23] and that's part of it. Um, he did get the mid or the agenda

[39:30] on Friday that I sent him, but that portion of the website,

[39:36] I don't know if he didn't have it completed or or what, but it didn't get

[39:41] put up there. That's why I sent Mr. Gallagher the uh

[39:45] agenda today. >> Yeah. And and that's also another thing

[39:48] of when the uh the motion was approved back earlier in the year, January or

[39:54] February. Um I know there was discussion of

[39:58] setting up a time frame for the agenda to be completed, not just for the

[40:03] public's benefit, but for council's benefit so that we have time with it.

[40:08] Could we get it up by w by noon on Wednesday of the week before the meeting

[40:13] so council has at least a day and a half to look it over and recommend any

[40:19] changes before it gets posted for the public. Please

[40:27] well and I apologize to everybody for the agenda. I was not I again the agenda

[40:36] it falls on me when the agenda does not get um put onto the website. Um but I

[40:42] thought and again I might be wrong. I thought the agendas went out to the

[40:46] council on Wednesdays. Did they go not go out to the wind? You

[40:50] might want to because I thought they did. I'm sorry. I might be wrong on

[40:56] » Yeah, I sent it out on Wednesday. I try to start it right with you on Monday. So

[42:12] on the website in the near future. Um we'll have um a notification system uh

[42:18] with like email and text message that businesses and residents can sign up

[42:23] for. Um that way when we get the minutes done, we can email them to you. Um and

[42:30] uh any other pertinent information that needs to be sent uh to let businesses

[42:34] know maybe there's, you know, something going on in the park or whatever. So,

[42:38] um, that should be happening in the next week to have those forms up hopefully by

[42:42] the next at least the next, uh, council meeting. So, um, you know, there's lots

[42:47] of exciting things happen. We're trying to make things more available and, you

[42:50] know, show up on your phone for you. Um, it just takes a little bit of time to

[47:34] when it gets finished. And if you get an opportunity, you really should walk or

[47:38] drive down there and take a look at it. And again, I just to to um say just a

[47:47] little bit more about that. Just as a reminder, this is something that has

[47:52] been always in the mind of having something else to attract more people

[47:57] and something for our for our residents to do, especially in a continuation of

[48:03] our main street. So, that project will be at least 2,000 feet long, and I call

[48:10] it a rivercape because that's what it's going to be. The uh media that's going

[48:15] to be put down as a we don't know as of yet if it's what hard surface wise, but

[48:23] still in in the uh infancy of that thought, there will be places to sit.

[48:30] There will be overlooks and kind of like Sycamore Park Park, we could even do

[48:35] something that um we can use for picnicking. So, our residents and and

[48:40] alike would like to come down to the village and uh actually see our

[48:45] riverscape because there's not a lot of villages around that have a rivercape.

[48:51] we were very very lucky even though we've been comparisons to some to some

[48:55] other areas or communities but now we have our own riverscape um and I think

[49:01] it's a very exciting time where again uh for our residents to be able to take

[49:08] advantage of that at some point in time and have that uh riverscape available to

[49:13] them. Take your families there and make sure you see the riverscape because it

[49:17] is beautiful. Anything else from the council?

[49:27] going to be a like a boardwalk, right? It's is it

[1:26:20] uh remaining to help demonstrates exceptional concern for the well-being

[1:26:29] hesitation exemplifies the highest standards I do say again highest

[1:27:53] » So I called my boss. She said, "Well, do call the sheriff. Do a wellness check."

[1:28:00] and we found her in the bathtub. >> She was in there for three days

[1:28:14] the community, I just wanted to just extend this to you and this is your
