[0:00] So, depending on the weather, there's threats of a little bit of rain, it
[0:02] shouldn't slow us down. Um, but long and short of it is we
[0:06] should see from about Brenda to Highway 10 should be paved, let's just say by
[0:11] Friday. Okay, and most of the curb and gutter will be in place.
[0:16] And um, as they continue to work on that in all likelihood next week,
[0:22] uh, we probably won't see any paving, but the following week we'll see them
[0:25] pave from then where they're likely leaving off to
[0:28] the the um, right away of of County Road 23 on
[0:33] Edgewood. So, that intersection is going to be a little wonky for a while until
[0:37] they get their structure there. I did talk in conjunction with that,
[0:41] we're waiting for a structure on the county project so we can get the uh,
[0:44] drain pipe in. We'll start at the golf course and move across 23 and connect in
[0:49] with the drain collection that we're working on Edgewood with right now.
[0:52] Um, that work is is uh, scheduled to be done
[0:55] next Wednesday. So, there's going to be a time the
[0:59] county will announce it. We'll try and share that on social media as well that
[1:02] 23 will be absolutely closed cuz they got to dig a trench through that to set
[1:06] that pipe. It should only be a few hours, but you
[1:09] never know with construction what what we're going to see. But, Edgewood is
[1:12] getting really really close. So, the more people can stay off the main line
[1:16] of Edgewood and just cross where you need to to get in and out, the easier it
[1:20] is for the paving crews and the fine grading crews. The more you drive on it,
[1:24] the harder it is to get that flat surface back out there. They are going
[1:27] to use the paddle paver out there so they're going to be dumping it. It gives
[1:31] us a better product, it puts it down faster, they can cover a lot of ground,
[1:34] and they're going to bring bring two crews in if they need to to get that
[1:37] done. So, the bulk of the base course paving is going to be done, um,
[1:41] likely by Thursday, just give it Friday and and call it good. But, again, we do
[1:46] appreciate there's we've had some very positive feedback. We've got a few
[1:49] question marks, and that's okay. People can reach out and ask us questions,
[1:51] we're trying to keep it updated, but uh, the project has gone pretty well and
[1:55] pretty quick. Uh, but they're they're going to come
[1:58] back and pave the wear course all in one shot. They'll do it under under traffic
[2:03] more than likely, and they'll pave the trail at the same time. So, that could
[2:07] happen next week. In all likelihood, it'll happen the following week in
[2:10] September.
