And welcome you all.
[6:39]
We have you all set up over there to run your presentation.

[8:32]
This is Jack Kuzmo, he is not here today, so I will read this slide.
[8:38]
Hi my name is Jack Kuzmo and I will be a liaison this year.
[8:41]
I am a secretary of student council and I am also an NHS.
[8:45]
I'm on the boys volleyball team here at Sharden, and my three time I left like golf,
[8:50]

[8:52]
In the future I plan to go to college at the major in this event.
[8:58]
I want to even challenge them.
[9:00]
I'm a student council president.
[9:02]
I want to ask for a diploma.
[9:03]
Just a program to honor.
[9:04]

[9:10]

[9:10]
I'm going to join the United States Army at King Green,
[9:12]

[9:23]
Hi, thank you, Joe.
[9:25]
I'm Vice President, I'll see you in the council.
[9:27]
I'm also going to be Vice President Sparing Chess.
[9:31]
I do a lot of clubs at the high school,
[9:32]
so I'm going to have a lot of fun at the high school.
[9:37]
I also have a suburb for all four years of high school.
[9:41]
And before that, as well, in the summer, I worked as a lifeguard and I coached the Boston Museum.
[9:48]
After high school, I plan to go to college to get my degree in elementary education and secondary school.
[9:54]
And I'm going to play the Boston Museum.
[9:58]
Hi, I apologize for my voice.
[10:00]
But my name is Elizabeth Mark.
[10:02]
So I'm very grateful to be chosen to be a student.
[10:06]
I am both a student also, and I'm also perfect as a student.
[10:11]
I am a teacher there and also a little bit more costume.
[10:17]
I also have a lot of the volunteers help coaching you with the costume.
[10:23]
I also work as a research person.
[10:26]
I have been to a different university after I schooled to meet any kind of costume to major freedom.
[10:34]
And those doctors.
[10:43]
Okay, so earlier this month we had our senior sunrise as you can see wasn't really a good sunrise
[10:52]
because it was very cloudy. Other than that it was very good, very successful. I'll see
[10:58]
your show up and random it's pretty quickly. So yeah.
[11:06]
So this was homecoming this year. We just had it this past weekend. It was super fun. The
[11:13]
Are being a dancing through the decades, which was really fun, being a death rate for it.
[11:18]
And more.
[11:19]
Have you seen that I were both on Homecoming Corps and as a really fun person?
[11:25]
Our team, Queen, our team was Ivan Chuama, but she was Audrey Annler.
[11:32]
And yeah.
[11:35]
The free was super successful.
[11:37]
They went super easily, especially in our court.
[11:40]
The car is a super fun to get part of.
[11:42]
Everything went super well.
[11:43]
All the kids have had a bunch of fun. I would entertain you and everything.
[11:50]
And we're looking forward to the fall part of the process.
[11:52]
Also, we're seeing something.
[11:55]
Oh, that is all.
[11:57]
Any questions?
[12:04]
Yeah, Mason, do you want to go to picture?
[12:08]
Okay.
[12:09]
Very good.
[12:11]
Thank you for presenting.
[12:13]
And I know whenever our student liaison speak about themselves,
[12:16]
I always get tired just listening to the activities that they're involved in, and I wonder how they have time to do this in addition to everything else that they're involved in, but it's really great all the things that you're doing.
[12:29]
So thank you.
[12:31]
Thank you.
[12:31]
Can you look forward to your reports?
[12:34]
Thank you.
[12:35]
Thank you.
[12:36]
Thank you.
[12:43]
Moving on to Superintendent's report.
[12:45]
I just have a few items to report to the Board before we get to the main event for this evening.
[12:52]
This past Wednesday, we did the Chamber of Present at the Chamber of Commerce State of the Schools,
[12:58]
which we've been doing annually, and that event was well-attended.
[13:04]
And I want to thank our students, staff, administrators, for all the efforts that they put into showcasing the great things that are happening in our school.
[13:13]
Our five-star rating a little bit more about that in just a few moments, but we couldn't really
[13:19]
couldn't be more excited about the fact that our district chief, this five-star rating, it's
[13:25]
certainly a team effort in our organization, begins with the people that greet our students
[13:32]
in as they start their day, day, and those that are the last to work with them in the evening,
[13:37]
each day, and between that, there's a lot of magic that happens that contributes to the success
[13:44]
at our school district is enjoying. So it'll be a really great honor to recognize our students
[13:51]
and staff here this evening. Student liaison, again, we introduced our student liaison, so we're
[13:58]
very pleased to have them participate in our Board of Education meeting and just a quick update
[14:04]
for the board with respect to the topic of transportation.
[14:09]
We do have a survey that we issued out to parents
[14:12]
that's being done in coordination with the bus
[14:15]
rate consultant contract.
[14:17]
We've communicated that to our parents.
[14:20]
That survey link was opened on Friday, September 18th,
[14:24]
and it will be open through this Friday of this week.
[14:28]
And then we'll be using that data to inform some
[14:31]
parameter planning that bus right will be engaging with with Mr. Now. So that concludes
[14:38]
Superintendent's report. We'll move right into recognition of our schools for five
[14:45]
star achievement on the state report card. I'll turn that to Mrs. Blanket Show. Hi, everyone.
[14:54]
Tonight we have the opportunity to recognize a tremendous accomplishment for
[14:59]
Thank you very much.
[15:00]
Our district's designation is a five-star district on the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce Local Report.
[15:07]
This recognition represents much more than rating. It reflects the collective work taking place in classrooms, hallways, offices, athletic fields, and three-onder schools every day.
[15:20]
Each of our schools plays an important role in this accomplishment, and tonight we want to recognize the students and staff who represent that work.
[15:28]
Our five-star designation reflects achievement across six areas.
[15:34]
Student achievement, progress, gap closing, graduation rate, early-only literacy, and college career, military, and workforce readiness.
[15:46]
Most importantly, this recognition reflects our commitment to the mission of the charter schools.
[15:52]
We commit to high achievement for all students.
[15:55]
I also want to take a quote from Dr. Helen and stand in the school's presentation that
[16:01]
you did to the Shardin Chamber of Commerce last week. I thought this really says a lot
[16:07]
about Shardin schools. We will continue to pursue excellence not because the state tells us
[16:15]
to but because our students deserve it. Tonight we are proud to recognize each of our schools
[16:22]
and the students, teachers, administrators, and staff who contribute every day to making that commitment to the reality.
[16:31]
Congratulations to all our filmmakers on this well-deserved recognition.
[16:37]
So, congratulations, if I can get everybody to come out, just to speak to spoke about the great board members of the field.
[16:44]
Please follow me.
[16:57]
and I'll just fill in.
[17:03]
I just pull over here and I'll just fill in.
[17:06]
I'll just pull over here and I'll just fill in and go by the front wheel.
[17:10]
I didn't know I'd be able to do that.
[17:15]
I just didn't have to do that.
[18:29]
Sorry, nice to meet you.
[20:11]
All right, here we go, one, two, three.
[20:41]
You can't take it, you can't take it.
[20:47]
It's just a crazy girl.
[20:53]
Hi, excuse me, so the dog's gonna be nice.
[20:57]
There's enough, we'll do more of it.
[20:59]
A little bit shrewd.
[21:02]
I'm gonna be running.
[21:03]
Yeah, it's kinda weird.
[21:06]
Yeah, it's nice.
[21:14]
I didn't realize we were giving them too.
[21:17]
Yeah, we were giving them too.
[21:18]
Yeah, we were giving them too.
[21:18]
And now they're wrong, but anybody left.
[21:21]
Yeah, they're wrong.
[21:21]
Are these supposed to go with somebody?
[21:23]
Those are some experts.
[21:25]
We've got a few, excuse me.
[21:27]
Okay, thank you.
[21:28]
Thank you.
[21:29]
We can't do this.
[21:32]
Well they're all filing now.
[21:34]
We're trying to find a client, you know.
[21:36]
We're going to have a few.
[21:39]
We're going to have a few.
[21:40]
We're going to have a few.
[22:23]
Whenever you're ready, can.
[22:36]
We're just a moment until they can move out the hallway.
[22:49]
Sorry, I cleared the room.
[22:52]
Sorry, I cleared the room.
[23:01]
Okay, thank you guys for saying I appreciate it.
[23:05]
Okay. All right. Next on our agenda is Dr. Klein, who's going to give you the deep dive into our report card data.
[23:15]
So, it's kind of like Christmas morning.
[23:18]
It's actually like my open mic tonight so that I do the hobby where it's just a smile.
[23:24]
Just they intimate gathering, smattering.
[23:28]
Dr. Hamlin said that the magic happens in the group that was just here.
[23:31]
They're the ones that do that magic and so they've heard me talk about this.
[23:34]
They are excused from the deep dive because they've gotten it and we'll continue to get it for the bore of the real big take away that I
[23:43]
I would want if I were a board member is right here on the title slide
[23:47]
We rank amongst the best in the state of Ohio top 7%
[23:53]
43rd in the state our performance index score has gone up to historic highs
[23:58]
We are amongst those best districts not just in a state, but in Northeast Ohio
[24:04]
in our region specifically.
[24:07]
So, as an aside, I've been embarrassed by the amount of time that I tried to get a
[24:13]
eye to create this map of Northeastern Ohio.
[24:16]
Yes, this is a map of Northeastern Ohio, for those of you following at home.
[24:22]
These are the competencies.
[24:24]
Dr. Hammer knows how much time I spent on this, and now he's embarrassed for it and gave
[24:28]
it a try.
[24:28]
He didn't give it a try as well.
[24:31]
We know these school districts, and again, to take away to you, the board would be we rank
[24:36]
amongst these school districts here.
[24:38]
We are amongst that top 15 in North East Ohio.
[24:43]
The Solons, the Shigrin Falls, the Orange is Rocky Rivers, West Jogger, immediately to our
[24:48]
South ranking 12th in the state.
[24:51]
We rank 43rd out of 607 school districts, that's top 7 percent, that's fantastic work
[24:59]
it's taking place. Each and every day, as Dr. Hamlin said, from all of our staff across the
[25:06]
district,
[25:11]
taking a deeper dive than looking at the six components of the report card,
[25:15]
performance index 103.7th of Rea again, a historic high with that performance index.
[25:20]
What goes into the performance index are all of the assessments that are end of course assessments
[25:26]
grades three through a variety of different high school courses rather, English, math specifically,
[25:34]
some science, some social studies. We look at what our graduation rate is, that's both a four year
[25:40]
and a five year cohort there, gap closing, progress, how we're adding to that early literacy, what we're
[25:50]
with addressing our English language in our primary grades and in our college and career readiness
[25:57]
or we have three stars there and we continue to examine how we can do more. We know that we are
[26:03]
preparing our students to be college and career ready. Some of those parts aren't matching up with
[26:10]
what the state is putting out as the expectations there. But this is where we're looking at number
[26:15]
students are taking AP exams, students that are enrolled in CCP courses, and are passing
[26:21]
those classes or earning a three or better on the AP exam. We're also looking at a
[26:26]
high-o-means jobs and a pre-apprentice ship programs and industry-recognized credentials.
[26:32]
Industry-recognized credentials are in a variety of different specific industries
[26:36]
that the Ohio Department of Education has established and students have to earn specific
[26:40]
credentials towards each one of those.
[26:44]
That's what falls into that last category.
[26:48]
Over six years, you can see from the bar graph there,
[26:52]
we have continued to increase what that performance index is,
[26:55]
and increase what our student achievement is,
[26:59]
as demonstrated by those end-of-course exams there.
[27:03]
We look at how we are aligned as a system,
[27:06]
and this is where Dr. Hanlon limited me to the number of times
[27:09]
I can use the word standards, but we teach the standards.
[27:13]
That is the basis of our curriculum.
[27:15]
And we ensure that our curriculum is a guaranteed viable product
[27:19]
across, again, all grade levels, across buildings,
[27:23]
and vertically aligned as a student move through the school system.
[27:29]
We look at Sharden Middle School.
[27:31]
And we see that in the last year,
[27:33]
they turned around the system there.
[27:36]
Great work by Christina Sherwood,
[27:38]
and by the entire team of the Sheridan Middle School there as they turned around what was occurring
[27:45]
there looked at what systems were in place and did some course corrections there. We look
[27:53]
at Sheridan High School with a five-year growth trajectory, work that was taking place with our
[27:59]
professional learning communities, systems that have been built, systems that are continuing to
[28:04]
intervened with meeting where kids are ensuring that we're meeting those students, teaching
[28:10]
them the standards, intervening when they don't know it, enriching it when they do know
[28:14]
it.
[28:17]
We have specific areas that we're looking at and saying, we should be celebrating these.
[28:22]
I break this into a 90% proficiency club, which is those grades or courses where all
[28:29]
we're 90% of the students demonstrated proficiency, and in a green I have laid out the cohort
[28:36]
improvement that's where the preceding grade in or course increased over where the next greater
[28:44]
course was. So in that example, their biology from one year to biology in this past year,
[28:51]
same content area, same curriculum materials there.
[28:59]
Next is what are we going to do with this. We again
[29:01]
rank amongst those best school systems. What do we need to do to continue to be amongst those best
[29:06]
systems and to improve on where we where we are at. One, we want to make sure that we
[29:14]
continue to address our literacy programming and our elementary and our early middle
[29:19]
grades there. We've done great work. We want to build on that great work and make sure
[29:24]
that we have consistency across great levels and across the all the buildings there.
[29:30]
We want to make sure that we understand rather that the next point is harder. When I started
[29:36]
giving these presentations 10 years ago, we were talking in game of yards, now we're talking
[29:41]
in game of inches.
[29:44]
That next point is harder for us to get when we're in that top tier of schools.
[29:50]
One or three, five, there's only so much more room to grow there.
[29:55]
And so we're looking at where there's individual students are at, what are the point values
[29:59]
that we
[30:00]
It can be having, talking about raising the floor, raising the ceiling on how our students are performing.
[30:07]
That's what I have on that slide. And we also talked about ensuring that we are preparing our students for that future readiness there.
[30:17]
This is the part where, and I'll quote Dr. Hannon from 10 years ago, again, when I first started doing these presentations.
[30:23]
Dr. Hannon would say that the test is just one measure of how students are successful.
[30:30]
But we do really well, our students do really well, our families do really well, our teachers do really well in a demonstrating student achievement with that.
[30:42]
Career readiness, future readiness, there are multiple ways to get there.
[30:46]
And we recognize that the state's means of doing that are just a few ways that we can get there.
[30:51]
So we want to continue to build out on that and work towards getting that fifth star in that area.
[30:59]
We've laid out a roadmap for this, this is for our district leadership team, and then our individual building leadership teams.
[31:07]
We've met once as a district leadership team, which is where we focus on curriculum and instruction,
[31:12]
digging into the intervention planning, digging into our preassessment, what are our students know?
[31:18]
How do we know they know it? Where are we going to go with them over the course of this year?
[31:22]
We've met with them that team once in August, we'll meet with them again coming up here in early October
[31:28]
their work guides the work that happens within the individual buildings and their work guides what happens on the professional development dates
[31:42]
And we want to build towards the sustainability
[31:55]
the best in Northeast Ohio. We want to continue doing that. Those districts that I showed,
[32:03]
I might only try and map on slide two, or three, those are the ones that we want to be looking
[32:08]
to the same. What are they doing? Can we replicate it? How can we should we be replicating it? Because
[32:15]
they're also in that top tier of schools as well. I just want to thank it for his work on,
[32:27]
presentation and putting this together and obviously continued to work in terms of moving
[32:33]
our district where we're going. I would echo the one comment there at the end about looking
[32:40]
at other districts or seeing what we can do. I think it's also important for the court to understand
[32:45]
that we also enjoy the experience of having those other districts look to us and ask us questions
[32:54]
about what is it that Shardon's doing.
[32:57]
And I know the individual from the ESC Northeast Ohio
[33:00]
who leads helps lead and coordinate our district leadership
[33:04]
team, committed to me, that our most recent meeting,
[33:08]
that there are a number of districts that are watching
[33:10]
what Shardon does and attempting to replicate those practices
[33:14]
in their district to benefit their students.
[33:18]
And that's great.
[33:19]
That's what we should be doing is learning for each other
[33:22]
and growing from each other.
[33:25]
It's a really pumped up our hand and just as it is,
[33:27]
aside on building on that we do have a school district home.
[33:31]
To be with us next week to see how our systems are in place.
[33:36]
We have multiple schools, private and public school districts.
[33:41]
Come and observe lots of different places with our literacy instruction.
[33:45]
Deal with our math instruction.
[33:47]
In elementary and middle grades, this school is coming out of school and that's where these
[33:52]
schools have been made at school systems.
[33:55]
They're coming from all parts of the state to see what we are doing, so we are
[33:59]
and can't find those back from our districts.
[34:02]
And interestingly, that was a focal point of our success plan was becoming a model
[34:07]
district, and we're finding that in a variety of areas that people are watching,
[34:12]
what we're doing and recognizing the efforts of staff and everyone.
[34:16]
Um, to move our tips you're forward.
[34:19]
I have a question, might be too in depth, might be more of an email.
[34:23]
But like graduation rate, you can, that's an easy one to calculate.
[34:27]
How many kids did we graduate last year?
[34:29]
The other ones are, they all built into factors from state testing.
[34:33]
Like, how do you know how the state determines the different star readings?
[34:36]
Are they all state testing based?
[34:38]
I mean, is it a mixture?
[34:39]
Like you said, might be an email or a long book I have to read?
[34:42]
That's also a lot of questions.
[34:45]
Each one of those are evidence.
[34:47]
Okay.
[34:48]
It is the surgery and surgery and that.
[34:51]
They all do the point back to what the standard child is.
[34:54]
They all do the point back.
[34:55]
What those end the courses and assessments are.
[34:57]
So those are our guiding.
[35:00]
Sars are guiding purposes.
[35:02]
We use those.
[35:04]
But they're all.
[35:05]
My new should not allow you to share.
[35:07]
Spread sheets on these structures there.
[35:09]
I just wasn't certain they came in more.
[35:11]
like report cards or what you know it's more than just the what our kids show on a state testing
[35:41]
Those can depend on how to progress as opposed to now all the way through high school, and then again on how to pause.
[35:51]
And so again, short answer to your question is yes, because we're back to the assessments, we're going back to the standards, but also there's more than those in the natural.
[36:02]
It's just not our proficiency test at the end of the year, I guess you won't say.
[36:09]
Thank you.
[36:11]
Thank you.
[36:13]
Next item is item 5.4.
[36:15]
This approval of the updated student success and wellness funding plan for 2027 is detailed
[36:21]
in the closure.
[36:22]
I will have a brief comment following motion.
[36:25]
Second, recommending approval.
[36:32]
Second.
[36:34]
Second.
[36:34]
Second.
[36:34]
Second.
[36:35]
Second.
[36:35]
Second.
[36:36]
This requirement that Governor DeWine and the legislature put in place when the governor
[36:42]
included what was termed student success and wellness funding are district used to receive.
[36:51]
I won't say significant amount of funding, but what was our high point of about 180,000 in
[36:59]
student success and wellness?
[37:00]
Yeah, 183 when it first started and that has been reduced by actions of the general assembly down to this year
[37:10]
It's approximately 80,000. Yeah, it's in the document. Nevertheless, Governor DeWine and the legislature
[37:20]
required that the school districts have a board approved plan that indicated the basis for their success
[37:29]
Thank you so much.
[37:30]
This intervention efforts and how they expended those funds and Deb is required to report annually on the expenditure of these funds.
[37:40]
Suffice it to say our district spends significantly more on student success and wellness through our contracts with Beachbrook that the board supports and other services that we provide in our district.
[37:53]
So, that's the background on this, and I'm suspecting that there's even the likelihood that
[38:02]
that that will change with a new governor and a new, or revisions to how school funding
[38:10]
operates as we move forward.
[38:13]
But nevertheless, the plans presented for your approval this evening, and we'll submit that
[38:18]
that's required.
[38:19]
Any questions or comments?
[38:21]
About the wrong answer.
[38:26]
Can I take which please come around?
[38:30]
Yes.
[38:31]
Yes.
[38:31]
Can we do that?
[38:32]
Yes.
[38:32]
And this is 25.
[38:34]
Yes.
[38:35]
Thank you, Madam President.
[38:35]
I'm supporting next item for consideration.
[38:37]
As item 5.
[38:38]
5.
[38:39]
This is reimbursement.
[38:41]
Load of transportation.
[38:43]
4.
[38:44]
26.
[38:45]
Schooliers.
[38:45]
Detailment.
[38:46]
Closure.
[38:47]
Recommending.
[38:47]
approval. So move, do we have a second? Second. Do we know how many students are up to
[38:57]
in total because they've seen that on several boarder gender? I do not have that on
[39:02]
beridian but I can provide that for you. Just curious. Any other questions
[39:15]
Yes.
[39:18]
Mr. Landy.
[39:19]
Yes.
[39:19]
Mr. Landy.
[39:21]
Mr. President.
[39:22]
I'm a member of Sport next item is 5.6.
[39:24]
This approval of Shardin High School overnight out of state field trips for both the 2627
[39:30]
school year and 2728 as detailed in the associated enclosures.
[39:36]
The reason for the 27-28 is that you are approving our international trip to Europe, and obviously
[39:46]
that takes a longer period of time to plan, coordinate, and put everything in place for it to be successful.
[39:55]
I am recommending your approval.
[39:58]
Do you have any questions or comments?
[40:05]
What part of Europe are they going to?
[40:07]
Boy, that's a great question. I believe it's a, I'm sorry.
[40:23]
Switzerland, Italy, and Northern Italy.
[40:26]
I thought it was a conglomeration of destinations.
[40:32]
Sounds like fun.
[40:36]
I'm not sure I want to go with my kid though.
[40:42]
Any other questions or comments?
[40:46]
Are you done, Doug, which please come along?
[40:48]
Yes.
[40:49]
Yes.
[40:50]
Yes.
[40:51]
Yes.
[40:53]
Thank you, Madam President.
[40:54]
Members Board.
[40:55]
Final item is item 57.
[40:57]
This is the Ann Affiliation Agreement with Preston Superstore for Shardon High School Students
[41:02]
that are participating in a work-based learning program through Preston.
[41:08]
I am recommending your approval.
[41:10]
Do we have a motion in the second?
[41:13]
So moved.
[41:17]
Any questions or comments?
[41:21]
Do you have any questions?
[41:23]
Do you have any questions?
[41:24]
Yes.
[41:25]
Yes.
[41:27]
Yes.
[41:27]
Yes.
[41:27]
Yes.
[41:29]
I think Madam President turned to support that concludes my section for this evening.
[41:33]
Thank you.
[41:35]
I'll take you back with another numbers of the board, first item of my agenda, 6.1.
[41:41]
This is quite a lot, it is the International Summary for my third post office, which is a second month,
[41:49]
here in the school year, 27, half this week back.
[41:53]
I'm going to talk to you about that.
[41:55]
I'm going to talk to you about the part that you've been running.
[41:59]
I'm going to talk to you about that.
[42:02]
I'm going to talk to you about that.
[42:03]
I'm going to talk to you about that.
[42:07]
First, I'm going to leave out everything along.
[42:09]
This is our cash reconciliation.
[42:11]
The ended August of 1991.
[42:13]
It's a sub-194,0791.
[42:16]
And you see there's a part that's a little different.
[42:19]
And I'm going to talk about it more and more into AI.
[42:21]
But it has the same amount of information.
[42:25]
They have come to a lot of total in the bank 32 million,
[42:30]
but then we have to account for what's in the system
[42:33]
to the right all of our outstanding checks out
[42:36]
in the unknowns, look to the bank at the 31.9 and 164.
[42:44]
Typically, the cash summary report is the second one we will get
[42:47]
every month.
[42:48]
But again, this is my AIS summary, all in all,
[42:53]
But all of us, we've got the 37 point of time to know you're in the month of August.
[42:58]
All of us, we've got a couple of things we've got in the month of August.
[43:02]
That was a great town of Joe, one of the other cars that we've seen.
[43:05]
Most of our babies in the middle of August.
[43:08]
And it's sort of right, this after all of this is where it's again.
[43:11]
That was right.
[43:12]
It's Joe, one of the other cars.
[43:14]
It's very great.
[43:15]
Three-nose on the bottom.
[43:17]
And it's just that there's a couple of cars that help me down.
[43:20]
The current is over 4 million.
[43:22]
Pebble projects are being published in Cal.
[43:26]
But the guests are under 124 years.
[43:30]
But the Hasebro Parking Act may be very calm.
[43:33]
It happened a lot of a thousand dollars sitting in that funds forever.
[43:36]
That we use to choose that project.
[43:38]
And then we have some trouble and that's the thought
[43:41]
which is further further.
[43:42]
And the service we talk about all year.
[43:45]
But you likely, and you want to see that the numbers behind this
[43:49]
of graphic, it's behind it and this is the report we always look at. And I was on the side
[43:54]
of what we just discussed.
[43:59]
So, we always compare and to last year. So, this time last year,
[44:04]
we collected 445,000 more. Though we collected this time this year. We spent more or more
[44:12]
more this year than we did this time last year. So, our cash balance is completed by 1.1 million
[44:19]
of the university class, that was from a lot.
[44:22]
A lot of the value is comparing to our spending and our forecast.
[44:27]
We collected 54,000 more than we did.
[44:30]
There are forecast and we spent 57,000 more.
[44:35]
So that's a little bit closer, right?
[44:37]
And that's what we need to be able to achieve,
[44:39]
we need to close to our forecast.
[44:45]
So why is we going to determine
[44:48]
and 45,000, 400, 400, 400, 400,
[44:51]
the last that we did at this time of the nation.
[44:54]
One of the mid-drivers here is first energy to not pay,
[44:59]
for nearly three years.
[45:03]
We're going to collect that money by the next election, right? But they were late, and then they did it in the past times when they went to the Olympics.
[45:12]
It just is in telling you about a study report from my assure, the actual interest
[45:18]
of the 4.8 percent now is at 3.484.
[45:22]
So we were receiving modeling the assure in just from this year.
[45:26]
And the state received a proposal that might just talk about our student wellness
[45:31]
was a great way to really discuss this year in comparison with my assure.
[45:36]
Also, if you remember, we've recorded about it all year long.
[45:39]
MRDU team gave us an advance, and special headphones last year.
[45:46]
We didn't get that advance, yeah, that's true.
[45:49]
So that's why the work we're doing, we are, yeah, we actually just got it said today.
[45:59]
Okay, that's what we're going to do for today.
[46:01]
So I'm excited to just, this is more what we expect to see here, our salaries and benefits
[46:08]
This is our former, 14,000 highly distributed work system that share right, because everything has been used to that part.
[46:15]
Our push of services is more, and that really attributes to special projects that are additional to share.
[46:24]
And we have to get more and more of those services that will be introduced to be more than any more of this time of our share.
[46:35]
Now we're going to our study plan, why do we collect what's going on in this last year?
[46:43]
Most of it is in other revenue and you look down below.
[46:47]
We have some refunds from a prior year.
[46:51]
We're collecting a little more of these than we were going to collect.
[46:55]
But it's really, it's very close to $4,000.
[46:58]
I'll say if they have any expenditures, we're on there, but a little bit over-employed
[47:05]
advantage, little bit of her purchases, and other expenses we're over-over, but again,
[47:11]
we've got a thousand, very close up and more to that.
[47:16]
Calories, we have been at 4.6 days, so I'm almost 1.6 million on progress.
[47:23]
We're over 2 million out together.
[47:25]
I was just looking at the year as we moved to the year of 198-399.
[47:31]
I'm excited that's obvious.
[47:34]
The word, just being our type of hand is a summary.
[47:37]
I'm sober, or she's sober.
[47:39]
The larger a bar because this is a free day of month,
[47:41]
we're paid out of two weeks.
[47:43]
So everyone loves for our attack.
[47:46]
She is cash, her help.
[47:50]
And if you remember the graph on the bottom of the box,
[47:55]
we had patterned out in the loop.
[47:56]
because we did it, got our tax payments in July, right?
[47:59]
So let's see how low it's started in July.
[48:01]
Well now we got our tax payments or up to our office
[48:03]
usually is, and we're right back on a track.
[48:08]
So of course, because we got that tax payment,
[48:10]
and I actually, as a cash went up to two times
[48:12]
in the portal for first orders, and 100,
[48:15]
and eight, six, one, seven, seven, seven, seven.
[48:21]
Could it serve us, and I wanted to have a sit
[48:23]
and audience of 32,000, two, four,
[48:26]
or absolutely nothing that we're talking about.
[48:30]
The end-in-point panel is right now
[48:31]
with about two hundred and eighty-seven thousand.
[48:34]
I'm projecting that to insert a school
[48:36]
and write around three hundred thousand,
[48:38]
which is very close to it began to change.
[48:41]
We're going to see some positives, some negatives all
[48:43]
in your long-up and down, which should end up right before it starts.
[48:50]
P.I., we got the obvious final tax settlement.
[48:55]
And one thing I want you to know is that
[48:57]
is to see how much larger the tax element is in August, then it is in March.
[49:04]
And that is an effect of the one-mill shift.
[49:08]
So it's going to start in January of 27, where the second half,
[49:15]
where the second collection of art is going to be much smaller.
[49:27]
On the expenditure side, the set 147,000662, we did an additional break for our fellow
[49:36]
mentioned at large Bayes-Nary College of Delano in the summer, this new furniture for the
[49:41]
new garden classroom, a new furniture for the monstimolment sheet, that we can use possibly
[49:47]
in homilobies, the installation of a new swing at art of out in the area of Play Area, and
[49:54]
from surveillance services to supply.
[50:02]
How did sheriff thought this way was 90 levels
[50:04]
were all here?
[50:06]
We walked to where in 39,000 in the month of August
[50:10]
in our health insurance fund.
[50:11]
So this is what we've been projecting.
[50:14]
Flames come in higher from the summer.
[50:17]
Before I was just working on our looking at this fund
[50:19]
earlier today, we are also going to show you
[50:22]
that set in September.
[50:24]
Probably very similar depth fit in September.
[50:26]
We don't know if the Sharia at all, it's not over.
[50:30]
So this spot will fall back into 2009, 2.9, 2.89, 2.89,
[50:35]
but the other stuff's out there.
[50:44]
But I call it social media.
[50:46]
I look for this information.
[50:49]
I had to kind of chuckle because there was a whole thread
[50:52]
at how four members make $100,000 a year.
[50:59]
I don't know if you always say that.
[51:03]
But there are, so the board actually answered what I wanted to show that participation
[51:09]
for survivors.
[51:11]
There is, oh, our CP3 was going to point one to, that by law, wherever it can not,
[51:18]
we think one of the 125,000 remaining, and a maximum of 5,000 per year.
[51:24]
So, I see four members, we're at very more meetings.
[51:28]
And once they hit the 5,000 gap, they just keep having meetings that they dealt with.
[51:33]
that happens all the time. Also, they have some additional rules. There's a tendency
[51:40]
to acquire events. You have a reimbursement guidelines, you have to get their pressure
[51:44]
involvement through the tamter reimbursements, approved by the other four genres. So there
[51:51]
are a lot of rules that I have to do with that. And that's the other five additional summaries.
[51:56]
I'm going to have a few questions.
[52:00]
If you go back to four questions, okay.
[52:03]
Another is in photographic.
[52:05]
I'm here.
[52:06]
It tells you that everything you want now,
[52:09]
about the title, so I'm going to say it in one week.
[52:12]
So I'm going to tell you what I'm going to tell you.
[52:14]
I'm going to tell you what I'm going to tell you.
[52:17]
And then I'll also to know that there is a video.
[52:21]
The AI video, which means I'm going to tell you what I'm going to tell you.
[52:28]
Thank you very much.
[52:37]
So I look at the bill list of donations and I was really impressed by the list of this month.
[53:00]
And then this is the beginning of the school year we could sometimes see that.
[53:04]
So, once again, thank you to our community.
[53:08]
It's all the engineers, donations, it is greatly appreciated.
[53:14]
Can you note that by outside questions or comment, which please come along with you, Andy?
[53:20]
Yes.
[53:21]
Yes.
[53:23]
Yes.
[53:23]
Yes.
[53:24]
And this is quite a step.
[53:25]
We have a couple of hours and three.
[53:29]
This is 23.
[53:32]
It's 27.
[53:34]
I remember when you could log out with two vertical posts.
[53:37]
I thought we had.
[53:40]
We have a motion in a second.
[53:43]
It's so moved.
[53:45]
Second.
[53:46]
I just want to note that even though it may look like we have to say the equipment.
[53:51]
Everything is closed all the way to every month.
[53:53]
Remember, we had buildings, both of the buildings to have the same type of equipment in it,
[53:58]
so it may look like these army equipment disposal every month, so.
[54:06]
Anybody else have any questions or comments?
[54:08]
This one seemed like we're cleaning out the maintenance stuff.
[54:11]
Yeah.
[54:12]
Any other comment?
[54:13]
Yes.
[54:14]
But those aren't trash, those are auction if you read.
[54:18]
Yeah, it doesn't matter for throwing something away or for selling it or putting it
[54:22]
option, it has to go through disposal.
[54:26]
And the football jerseys were donated to boosters.
[54:28]
You can buy an old football jerseys if you want.
[54:32]
No.
[54:35]
Do you have any questions or comments?
[54:38]
Would you please go wrong?
[54:39]
Is it a fire?
[54:40]
Yes.
[54:42]
Yes.
[54:43]
Yes.
[54:44]
Yes.
[54:45]
Yes.
[54:47]
Yes.
[54:49]
That's it, my agenda is 6.4, this is what goes into the world's development
[54:55]
association, I don't know what's really in purpose for your fund, darling.
[54:59]
What does the demand does is increase in special education.
[55:02]
But just services by 2.30,000,000,000,000, and reduces the offset amount of credits
[55:08]
for 5,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000.
[55:15]
Do we have a motion in a second?
[55:18]
So moved.
[55:23]
Do you need questions for your comments?
[55:26]
Deb, I apologize.
[55:27]
I didn't look in depth.
[55:28]
Did we move the special ed money from elsewhere?
[55:31]
Is it just more deficit spending?
[55:36]
Do you have any questions for your comments?
[55:39]
Deb, would you please call?
[55:41]
I'm listening to that.
[55:43]
Yes.
[55:44]
Yes.
[55:46]
Yes.
[55:46]
Yes.
[55:47]
Thank you.
[55:48]
Thank you.
[55:49]
Thank you.
[55:50]
Thank you.
[55:50]
Thanks, staff.
[55:51]
That brings us to the discharge.
[55:52]
Go on.
[55:53]
Go on.
[55:56]
Still know application.
[55:58]
Mr. Chairman Carr said it's going to be out soon.
[56:01]
Maybe this week.
[56:01]
He's going to get it out to everybody.
[56:03]
Just want to remind everybody that you can put in applications last year.
[56:08]
They funded a 3D printer.
[56:09]
I think those are great things to do.
[56:12]
Ask for more 3D printers and more technology.
[56:15]
There's funds there, and there's just a lack of applications.
[56:21]
So middle school high school, you know, special project science, stem things would be great
[56:26]
to apply it for, and you could actually work up the applications now, even the form is essentially
[56:32]
the same.
[56:33]
He said, sorry, it didn't get out.
[56:34]
It's going to be out in the next week, but tell your teachers, whatever, you know, to apply
[56:40]
there's funds and there's some great stuff that was funded last year.
[56:46]
Thanks Gordon.
[56:49]
Andrew, are you a legislator?
[56:51]
The State House has not been doing much such
[56:54]
June.
[56:55]
I suspect they're all campaigning for November.
[56:58]
I looked at their calendar today and they're supposed to be back in session the second week in November.
[57:03]
So until then, now a whole lot going on.
[57:10]
You happen to that link, please, Kristoff.
[57:13]
Yeah, we just toss.
[57:16]
No, the gangry act.
[57:19]
Okay.
[57:19]
Let's follow.
[57:20]
I think we both do.
[57:25]
And then click.
[57:28]
Perfect.
[57:29]
So as a, Mr. Allbright does sit behind me at all our board meetings.
[57:32]
And we touch base every time.
[57:34]
He's the three year pointy where I'm only here for the year.
[57:37]
But we had a special meeting at the end of August for the new treasure to approve
[57:42]
So, Auburn's financial present, so we could approve Auburn's five year financial forecast.
[57:49]
They are, and I typed that wrong or Deb copied it wrong, they are good through 231, but
[57:55]
they got this slowly narrowing.
[57:57]
So, not looking at any PIs from your Auburn or PIs, oh my goodness.
[58:00]
Any PIs, levies or operating levies from Auburn for a while, but it is like everything that
[58:06]
gap between revenue and expenses is narrowing.
[58:08]
I found an interesting Dr. Glevin and Mr. Crow Jason, I forget his last name, I think that's it.
[58:18]
Okay, they were talking about TDA's now doing tours at Auburn, and they're putting together
[58:25]
a capital outlay plan there.
[58:27]
So Auburn is reaching that point in their buildings where they're going to need to start
[58:31]
consider what needs to be fixed roofs windows versus rebuilt.
[58:37]
So, that was interesting. They're going to come up with that. They don't have quite the PI budget,
[58:41]
but a normal school district would have so they need to start planning that a little more ahead of time
[58:45]
because that comes out of general fund. There was a regular meeting, September 1st, very standard beginning of the year items.
[58:54]
And then we have another regular meeting, the 13th coming up. I don't see anything exciting.
[58:59]
And then October 17 or 16 that can read, they're going to be opening their new innovation center.
[59:06]
So what used to be their auditorium has been completely redone with classrooms and more of an open kind of entrepreneur
[59:14]
vibe to discuss things.
[59:15]
And then they also read it because of the college you live was just open last week.
[59:20]
They have the sports medicine up and coming and they're tweaking advanced manufacturing.
[59:23]
So all of that will be on display at their October 16th we've been cutting.
[59:28]
I'm going to try to make it, but it's in the middle of my work today, so we'll see.
[59:34]
So, lots of exciting things going on there.
[59:35]
If you have a kid who's interested in the trades, or even exploring what they want to do,
[59:40]
you can't stress enough to go there.
[59:44]
Thank you, Andrea.
[59:46]
So, that brings us a student's staff liaison on board, James.
[59:49]
Yeah.
[59:50]
Thanks, Karen.
[59:51]
So, thank you to Mason Collin and Communications Department for preparing the stories and
[59:56]
pictures and tonight's report.
[1:00:01]
So, first item was the district was thrilled to once again present the state of the school's luncheon in partnership with the shard and area chamber of commerce.
[1:00:11]
This event allowed chamber members and inside look at many of the great things going on in the district.
[1:00:17]
The high school gymnasium was filled with booths, displaying information from our schools, groups and programs.
[1:00:23]
members also heard a state of the school's presentation from our superintendent Dr.
[1:00:28]
Handlin, our treasurer, Mrs. Armbrooster. This event also provided an opportunity for
[1:00:34]
a hilltop or students from elementary through high school to interact directly with
[1:00:39]
business leaders from throughout our community.
[1:00:43]
Second this evening, once at Timber 10th, actively caring for people students in grades 8 through 12,
[1:00:52]
attended the Guarity Elementary Food Pantry in Cleveland Heights to assemble over 350
[1:00:59]
parcels of fresh food for the community.
[1:01:03]
Students take part in this service opportunity every second Thursday of the month through
[1:01:08]
April.
[1:01:08]
Thank you to Heather Highham for providing this opportunity for Hilltoppers to serve.
[1:01:14]
Additionally, thank you to Mrs. Casey Taznic and Melissa Downs for serving as this month's
[1:01:23]
Shaperons and to Mrs. Don Weaver for all of her work and coordinating this monthly
[1:01:28]
event. And finally this evening, the Tiny Toppers at C.E.L.C. took time this past Patriot
[1:01:37]
to honor their hometown heroes creating a doorbell artwork for a short and police and fire departments.
[1:01:45]
On September 11th, both the morning and afternoon classes got their hands messy,
[1:01:50]
crafting sweet, hand print hearts to show their love and appreciation for our local firefighters and police officers.
[1:01:57]
That's my report this evening.
[1:02:03]
Does anyone have any new business for tonight to be on?
[1:02:11]
Okay, so that brings us to our second hearing of the public
[1:02:15]
for knowledge into items at
[1:02:28]
there now.
[1:02:29]
There are that, okay?
[1:02:32]
So I guess that brings us to the term that I just want to make
[1:02:38]
go that our next regular board meeting is October 19.
[1:02:42]
We really have this special meeting on Thursday, this is on December 24th,
[1:02:47]
at 530 at the board office.
[1:02:48]
This is a 30,000-foot view of financials, for dev the mic to bring the board up to speed on the financials and just some scenarios, but it's not for us to dig into the weeds.
[1:03:07]
That might work, it's going to do a 30,000 foot view to get educated on how financial
[1:03:15]
statuses and how the future, the whole course, so that being said, the motion in a second
[1:03:24]
to adjourn.
[1:03:26]
Karen, did you mention that the meetings could be here?
[1:03:30]
Me, is going to be for office.
[1:03:31]
Oh, it is.
[1:03:32]
There's these meetings.
[1:03:33]
We'll be at the for office.
[1:03:33]
I'm kind of 5.30.
[1:03:35]
Yep.
[1:03:36]
I'll motion to adjourn.
[1:03:38]
Second.
[1:03:44]
Would you please call the roll?
[1:03:46]
Oh yes.
[1:03:48]
Yes.
[1:03:49]
Yes.
