[0:12] Okay, we'll go ahead and get meeting started  then. Uh we have any public comments.
[0:22] Okay. Uh any announcements, Jesse?  Yeah. Uh, a couple thing we do. Well,
[0:31] let me start by saying we uh we found out Friday  we all are we you all have to be reappointed. So,
[0:37] unfortunately, we're not going to be able to vote  tonight or elect officers, which I don't think we
[0:40] have anything on the agenda to vote on. So, it's  it's not the end of the world. Um, next meeting,
[0:45] uh, they will be here to swear in again. Um,  and we can elect officers and vote on everything
[0:52] there. So we won't do approve minutes, but I'll  leave those on the agenda for next month time
[0:56] with this being a new board and kind of the way  it's set up different. There was some confusion
[0:59] there. We found come to our teaching from city  manager's office on Friday that that had to be
[1:04] done. So tomorrow on the council meeting, the  mayor's going to uh [snorts] basically put in the
[1:10] minutes that she approves the appointments, which  is all of you again and then our two new members.
[1:15] Uh so we'll we'll be back in business next to  regular next next uh meeting. Um, let me start.
[1:23] We We do have a kind of sad or a definitely a very  sad announcement. Al Paige, who's kind of the head
[1:30] guy for the Junior Golf Foundation, passed away  this morning. Um, he's he's been dealing with
[1:35] some health issues for a while. Um, him and his  family obviously is 51 years old that program is
[1:41] their that started it and put everything into  it. Um, and we all know how big that is. So,
[1:47] uh, going to be working over the next few weeks to  come up with some type of probably permanently to
[1:51] put one of the courses for for him. He definitely  deserved. So, very sad to hear that today. Um,
[1:59] on a much better junior golf note, uh, our junior  tour, we finished up the regular season this past
[2:06] uh, yesterday at SIM and now we have the Witchdaw  Junior Cup on Sunday at Tex and that's the top
[2:12] four in each division. We have five divisions  be the top four in the point space. We have a
[2:17] point system all year. So the top top four will  compete. I know they're they're pretty excited
[2:21] about that. We're going to try to make it feel  like they're walking into the masters on Sunday.
[2:25] Make it a big dip. So um it's been fun. We've had  some very good turnout. Some good good golf this
[2:30] year. Um and then the all of our junior golf the  main the junior golf foundation today and tomorrow
[2:39] it's the last regular week. Next week we have  the play days and then that program is wrapped
[2:44] up for the year. Um that's every depending on the  course every Monday and Tuesday. U so it's as good
[2:49] as that is it it puts a lot of strain on staff  and the course and everything. So we'll be back
[2:53] to to our normal play on Mondays and Tuesdays  after next week. Um and then finally uh we do
[3:02] have two new board members we're fortunate  to have here. So um we've got Jane Alderson
[3:07] and and Kent. You guys all know Kent. He was the  liazison from the park board to golf board. Um,
[3:12] and if if you don't mind, I'd like to give them  a minute just to kind of introduce themselves
[3:16] and anything they need to know. Okay. You want me  to go first? Alphabetically, I am of course first
[3:21] Mr. Goose. Um, my name is Jane Alderson. I have  a volunteer. So, I like to volunteer for things.
[3:29] That's the number one reason why I signed up. Um  and um but I do have a particular uh background
[3:38] in environmental science and uh worked for civil  engineering groups over the years. I mainly work
[3:44] in manufacturing. So I think I can bring a little  bit of help as far as my scientific background.
[3:51] So I decided to to serve on board. I will say that  the area that you know a lot about is an area that
[3:59] we don't know a lot about. So we're very excited  to add. So, thank you for One of my buddies that I
[4:04] uh hang out with uh is St. Trex and he used to  be the uh grounds keeper who country club for
[4:12] years and years and years. So, if I ever need any  advice from I got I feel like I got an inside guy.
[4:18] Gotcha. Okay. You should know the to get worn  out. Yeah. No. Okay. No, thank you so much for
[4:25] being here. Well, this is my 50th year of playing  golf. I started when I was 12, 62. Most of that
[4:33] was the four city courses. I had a few stance  at Thriving Courses, but been back for quite a
[4:39] while. And I've been selling golf equipment for  24 years now. And then started a laser engraving
[4:50] um business. Well, dabling, learning that  one. And I've been doing hair for 38 years.
[4:56] So that's about it in town. It's awesome. But  I know you're both active at the courses. So
[5:04] you bring that that to the play mostly text and  honor, but I'm ready to see what the other two
[5:11] how how they bounce. So yeah. Good. Okay. Thank  you both for being here. We we appreciate it.
[5:21] I have a question comment more about the  junior golf thing. Some of my golf buddies
[5:28] are the primary people who do the on-site  volunteer. Volunteering. There's a real
[5:35] shortage there. Yes. And so I was wondering if  next year we could just kind of brainstorm the
[5:40] idea of what we could do to there's got to  be more than six people who will be willing
[5:45] to jump in and help with that. and uh maybe  we could do a little drive on there. Yeah,
[5:52] we we met with them several times back in  the winter come up with ways to do that.
[5:58] We we had some that signed up and then dropped  out prior to the start. So kind of up there a
[6:02] couple couple of courses were left in a heck of a  lot scrambling trying to figure it out. So yeah,
[6:07] I think that's I think this group should  involve some kind of either a marketing
[6:11] thing because up to now my impression is it's  been more word of mouth from the two girls that
[6:17] are primary on that on that deal that they just  try to call people they know and I don't think
[6:23] that's been really successful. Not a lot of  people. Right. Right. No. Is agree. I mean,
[6:30] when back when my kids were in junior golf, they  kind of would request the parents to Oh, they do,
[6:36] but somebody still has to do all the paperwork.  Oh, all the There has to be stuff. Yeah. 120
[6:42] 120 kids a morning that come out to each course  each course. So, so the enforce is fine. It's the
[6:48] other stuff. Yeah. It's the getting ready and even  encourse the way I understand it they you know the
[6:53] person in charge bricks the kids in does a little  rules lesson with them and so on then sends them
[6:57] out to the for a little on course lesson and and  then organizes their parental volunteers to make
[7:02] sure everybody's covered you know that kind of  administrative stuff is where really hurt yeah
[7:08] and when they have playdates they have playdates  at the end of the year where they need more
[7:12] volunteers to come out and be on course with the  kids and just help them with etiquette, you know,
[7:18] just the basic stuff. Yeah. So that's I know  we always try to help with that into your Yeah.
[7:32] Maybe to do something figure  out a way to help get some more.
[7:41] Yeah. Just like every week, right? Not just That's  right. thing. Yeah. It normally starts the 1 of
[7:51] June. This week, this year it was the second week  of June 7th. That's the first day. It's Tuesday
[7:56] here. Monday at tax. Is that right? Yeah. Monday  at tax. Monday at tax. And then Mac has sent up
[8:02] Monday. Tuesday. Yeah. [clears throat] How you  staff? What's that? How are you staff and season?
[8:13] The Oh, that's different. So, that's the junior  tour. We're good on that. Yeah. So yeah, the the
[8:17] junior tour is a competitive tour that I run. It's  it's also a six regular weeks and then the finals.
[8:24] Um which would be again that's only now that we're  down to the finals it gets a lot easier because we
[8:28] only have 20 players instead of 70 on a Sunday. So  um for those aren't no totally no but the one the
[8:35] tour that I run it's very competitive. It's it's  to get them ready to play high school, potentially
[8:40] college golf. So, it's le of the of the junior  golfers. Yeah, we had like we didn't play this
[8:49] year. Last year we had Graham Smith shoot 64 every  time we teed up, you know, win junior world. So,
[8:56] yeah, pretty pretty solid. I mean, there's some  good players on there this year as well. So, yeah.
[9:02] Um, one thing I wanted to bring up was last week  or last month he had said something about the new
[9:10] system was going to maybe get that standby feature  in it and I think you said couple weeks something.
[9:20] We weren't sure exactly when but it was there's  an update that came out today. I got here this
[9:25] morning I saw the update and I was hoping I jumped  in it to see what it was. It was not part of that.
[9:29] would still should be any any time. I don't know.  There's a third party that we could use. We sign
[9:35] a contract and if that's about to come out, I  don't want to spend that money and knowing that
[9:38] it's Robert. So, we're kind of in limbo. It's uh  I don't think it's taking longer than what they
[9:45] said. But we're to get that started. So, are they  going to make it to you finance or they going to
[9:52] leave it as is? No. So of all the the companies  that we demoed, no one booked process. Yeah. No,
[10:00] that's and that's not Are you seeing less period  or is everybody pretty much aware that you can
[10:06] come with five weeks? Yeah. We'll show five. Not  not really. Um but yeah, as far as a a computer
[10:19] program that does that either not do that now and  we had did but that one we don't know. So people
[10:29] uh people here don't realize how rare that is  on the golf portal. I heard it. Yeah. I don't
[10:35] know how far away but it's not very far. They know  they tried to do away with it a while back. This
[10:42] is like four or five years ago, but that did not  go well. There was a lot of complaints. I would
[10:48] suggest before noon on the weekends, but like you  said, city hall full of people that you just get
[10:54] the golf course moving in a nice way instead of  one, but not that all fans are slow, but the slow
[11:02] group is usually a F, right? No, there's that play  faster than anybody out here. It's not there's a
[11:10] lot more to it. It'll be that extra wearing to  tear from a cart, the extra round that the cart
[11:15] gets used. I mean, there's a lot more to it than  that. But yeah, I don't got rid of it for a while,
[11:21] but somebody said they might been out there,  but they got rid of five. My understanding is
[11:26] they got rid of my brother plays out there. Good.  That's good to know. Yeah, there you go. Little
[11:32] ammo. How's PC man as far as it been back? Yeah.  Yeah. [snorts] Or every day if it's not worn out,
[11:44] right? The last the end of last week and today  is the first time we've had any type of a low
[11:51] just cuz it's 107 degrees right now. Yeah.  And that's expected. I was talking to the
[11:56] the guy that runs Denver courses. He said the  same thing and he said this little heat we're
[12:01] getting where for the first time we're seeing just  a little bit in the afternoon and there's a open
[12:05] tea time here and there. I'm like how what's  the temperature? He said it's like 93 today.
[12:13] Yeah, they are struggling fast. I can [clears  throat] I can tell you got up Sunday at 4:45.
[12:20] Get online, get ready. Got to get an early  tea time. Nope. Can't get that one. Next one.
[12:24] Nope. Can't get that one. First one I get was 10  o'clock and actually book it at 5:01. One minute
[12:31] is all you got. It's like buying concert tickets.  One minute. That's all you got. Like is in town.
[12:38] really fast. That's for weekends or that just any  Yeah. A Sunday morning for the next Sunday. Well,
[12:46] the uh the only complaints I've I've gotten in the  last two months have been from some of the groups
[12:52] that are used to having tea times all all year.  Aside from that, of course, the response is Yeah,
[12:58] that's that's what everybody else dealt with this  whole time. So, it's it's been half. Yeah. the
[13:04] complaints have definitely went down, right? And  it's not to bring that whole deal back up, but the
[13:11] point that I was trying to get to was when someone  does have a complaint, I can explain to them,
[13:17] look, that's that was all on my no one I can show  them. No one was pre- booked. No one was booked
[13:21] early. It's it was what it is. So, yeah, fair  access to everyone. Any ideas on the supply issue?
[13:31] Yeah, not working on it. Working [clears  throat] on it. Not there yet, but
[13:41] something out that's could never happen. I need  to do a lot of work on that back end. But you guys
[13:55] Okay. So, we don't have any information  for yourself. we just move right along
[13:59] on to the financial update.  Yeah. So, I haven't gotten the
[14:03] um monthly financial report from finance yet,  but I can go through our numbers. [clears throat]
[14:19] But let me see. So, this goes through Oops.
[14:24] Okay. This goes through through June. So it's not  including anything from this month. Uh looking at
[14:30] rounds, we are up primarily except for McDonald  which McDonald had all the work being done early
[14:36] in the year. So they had all the construction  and we were closed for part of that a day
[14:40] here and there. So that that's a big reason for  that. AC on the other courses were we're up for
[14:45] the year. Um altogether we're up um about 2,000  rounds over last year and uh like nearly almost
[14:52] 6,000 from 24. Now, [snorts] if you look at June  alone, we're down because we had all that rain at
[14:59] the end of June um with big rain that closed the  course for three days and closed every course. So,
[15:04] we were trucking right along and then that big  rain came and and just put us at a standstill
[15:08] almost a little. So, um if we would have had a  good finish to the end of the month, we would
[15:12] have been way up on the year. But, um still all  in all need water. I'd like to have not had it all
[15:17] at one time, but u still looking looking pretty  solid this month. looking really good as well. Um,
[15:24] why would be down so much? I mean, that's drains  really fast, right? That sandy soil. Yeah.
[15:44] I'm going to verify that. That's a good  point. I'm going verify that once we
[15:47] feel [clears throat] once I get done with this.  Oh, let me that does seem really low. Okay,
[15:54] let me let me look at that and make sure  that maybe with the new system some kind of
[15:57] reporting thing that I did not do correctly.  Let me go back to that. Um, cart rentals are
[16:02] are way up. We're about $70,000 up over last  year. So, really good spot, which of course
[16:07] um partial part of that money goes back into our  cart fund to make sure we we have the fund. So,
[16:13] the cart fund we'll get to in a second is looking  really good. [snorts] Um, food and beverage,
[16:17] we're uh pretty much dead even over last year. Uh,  up again from 24 and way up from 22 or 23. Again,
[16:26] there's things we want to do that we just we  have to have staffing. So, [clears throat]
[16:32] I still think there's room for improvement there,  but we we have to be able to be consistent and
[16:38] um efficient with with that area.  Without people, it's hard to do. So,
[16:42] um, Jesse, are we still in the budget? Do we still  have a food and beverage staff person, you know,
[16:50] to replace the one we don't have any longer?  That's primarily. He's he's food and beverage and
[16:55] marketing. That's his title. So, yeah. Okay. Yeah.  I just wanted to know if somebody was monost. He's
[17:02] looking at what they're doing, looking at  margins, looking at food costs constantly,
[17:06] um running reports to show what what is going,  what's not working. I was thinking more about the
[17:11] events that we've talked about before and I know  that takes additional staffing beyond way beyond
[17:16] just you. Yeah. Every time there's an event  that requires food, he's pretty much weekend,
[17:21] afternoon, night, whatever. He's there because we  just we don't have that extra person to do. So,
[17:27] any ideas what we're going to try to do where we  beat that hood from burners? Yeah, we I mean we
[17:35] this past week we put I'll pull the grill out and  did some burgers outside at Mac and it it works,
[17:41] but you also now you the person that's inside is  the only person that can go outside to cook. So
[17:46] you can't you know what I mean? It's only  one person that's really problematic. Is
[17:50] there only one person running the for the most  part? Yes. That's that's it. Yeah. And it's uh
[18:00] the thing if we're if you're not consistent  in this world, you're not it's not going to
[18:04] work cuz people need to know that they can  show up and and the food's going to be there,
[18:07] the burgers are going to be there. And if  that person's stuck inside and can't get
[18:10] out and they show up, well, the next time  they're stopping somewhere on plane. So,
[18:14] and they have to have a  food handler's license. So,
[18:16] like the assistant pro couldn't go out and cook  them or Yeah. I know the establishment has can,
[18:22] but it's you got to think too. Yeah. Yeah.  And that happens a lot. I mean, a lot of the
[18:29] guys will jump out and help or whatever, but you  know, if you've got 120 kids coming in 8 minutes,
[18:34] I got to um [clears throat] so driving ranges  are extremely strong. Uh we could have five more
[18:42] driving ranges and they'd be packed every day.  Um 162,000 of them 27 at this point last year,
[18:49] uh which is crazy. We did have we have a really  slow start to last year with the driving ranges,
[18:54] but still it's a schmaculate. Um merchandise sales  are are up a little bit this year, but last year a
[19:03] lot of that is text and and all our texts with the  simulator. He's done a few more fittings this year
[19:10] um through the manufacturer. So they'll come out  and do club fittings and he sold several sets
[19:14] that way. So uh it's been pretty good. 225,000.  Again, we just so so you guys know, we get 5% of
[19:21] this. This is all owned by the pro. Um it's their  they have an LLC. It all goes through them. So,
[19:26] we're not liable for renting the merchandise, but  we do get 5% um as kind of their rent. Um but for
[19:33] me, it's more more importantly, it just shows the  engagement that we're offering the customers what
[19:37] they need when they come in. So, year-to- date  total revenue for the month of June, 766,000
[19:44] for the year. We're up 320,000 over last year.  [clears throat] So, um, from a revenue standpoint,
[19:51] our expenses are up a little bit just because of  many things. Staff costs did go up. The, you know,
[19:58] just we've done a little bit more this year. Um,  so, but all in all though, keep trying to keep
[20:04] that ratio of what we spend versus what we make  um, steady. We're doing a pretty good job there.
[20:09] So, um, and then finally, the project funds. So  maybe um you you may or may not know kind of how
[20:18] that works um the solar system, but we've got  um basically a project fund at the end of the
[20:23] year on our in our general fund. Anything over $1  million that's left in the account gets put into
[20:28] this project fund into the this general project  fund right here. Um so at the end of the year,
[20:35] everything over $1 million gets put in here and  then from this fund, we have four sub funds that
[20:41] we can put the money into. So, if we have anything  we're want to do in the clubouses um or on the
[20:46] grounds on the golf course or if we need to buy  equipment uh we can move money from here into
[20:50] one of these three buckets to be able to spend it.  Um the cart fund is kind of self-maintaining. So,
[20:56] we have every uh $3 from every cart rental goes  to that fund. And we started with the sale of
[21:03] our old broken down fleet of carts that we had  to kind of start with this. So, um where's the
[21:08] rest of the money from every rental? You said  $3. It goes to our just our general operating
[21:15] fun goes to the to that that individual club.  That's right. Yeah. Yeah. So, it was our cards
[21:20] were $12. We raised that that to $15 to put $3 in  here. And the goal is to have a self-sustaining
[21:26] funds and we always have new cards. So, when the  lease ends, we we can roll to that new lease and
[21:30] be in a good spot to do stuff. Just go back to the  previous slide. Something's [clears throat] wrong
[21:36] with the sale. That just doesn't look right. Oh,  the revenue is way up, huh? Oh, no. I'm looking
[21:43] at the wrong line. Way down. Way down. Yeah, I was  looking at city hall. They're the ones making the
[21:48] money. There's something wrong there. Sim. We need  to You'd be probably better audited than Well,
[21:55] Sim doesn't have a driving range. They don't  have some of the other. That's true. And that
[21:59] driving range is a big deal. It's I mean,  walkers long walker sim's always going to
[22:04] be lower. Yeah. Are you saying lower compared to  previous year or lower compared to each other?
[22:10] Yeah, I mean from before that's not a surprise  to me really. Year to day. No, it just without
[22:17] the driving or without a lot of walkers without  there's just different things that they don't they
[22:21] don't actually up year. Yeah, it is 30,000. He's  looking at that 122. Yeah. And that space there
[22:32] just we don't have a lot of events because there  absolutely no space there to have events. So,
[22:37] um, yeah, it's always going to be the lower. Um,  they do they do a lot of rounds normally. I've
[22:43] got to look and look at that here in a second. See  why the last one was so slow down. But, um, yeah.
[22:50] I got a question on the re on the merchandise.  5% goes to the city or the golf. Um, is is that
[23:01] just gross their total number? That's not profit.  That's 5% of the Yes. Right. Okay. I was talking
[23:09] to JV about maybe something to think about is  creating a window December, January or November
[23:19] through January where that gets waved so they can  unload their inventory and not they can actually
[23:27] go down to wholesale and and be able to not lose  that function. Well, so they could actually go to
[23:32] cost blow it out so they're not losing money on  stuff, but I don't know. The margins aren't great
[23:38] in post golf. I mean, they're not golf ball, not  the stuff that you sell. Golf balls are you just
[23:46] that's just there because the cheap golf balls  are I mean the the clothing you you can make
[23:53] some money. I'll probably wait a little bit. But  anyway, if we could think about creating a window,
[23:58] even if it's just a month, where they can drop  have close all that out and they can when they're
[24:02] ordering their new stuff, they're not lose it  on their old stuff. But if it's not a big deal,
[24:08] then it's not a big deal. Well, we don't pay much  during those months anyway on our 5%. But um yeah,
[24:14] our their contracts renew it at on January 1st  every year, so we can look at something. Yeah.
[24:20] I mean, it's 5% margin. Yeah. Do a lot. Well,  that's what I was going to say. I don't know
[24:25] how much they do mark up, but I can't imagine that  whole state plus 5% is gonna still affect a pretty
[24:31] significant discount and we still get our little  piece of that still. So, seems like it gave a lot
[24:37] of low and still pay their 5%. Typical markup if  you sold it without any kind of sale would try
[24:43] to get around 30%. Getting 5%. almost nothing in  parallel life sells it. You almost have to have
[24:50] it marked down at some. Yeah, there's different  techniques on how you do that, but um yeah, I
[24:56] mean typically margins you're going to be running  22% and when you take the 5% out there's that's
[25:04] Yeah. No, I mean just trying to give a a 30-day  window to [clears throat] where they can really
[25:10] just cut down the cost and see what they can help  when people they got new merchandise. Exactly.
[25:17] you're going to be less hesitant to order all  new insurance if you're just sitting on a bunch.
[25:24] Um, yeah, like I said, as soon as I receive  the uh the financial report from finance,
[25:32] I'll send that out email to everyone to  review. So, um, any questions about anything?
[25:42] Hey, I didn't really go through this, but  everything looks pretty strong. There's a couple
[25:45] of incumbrances here. Um, and then we got the the  big fund at the bottom still pretty healthy. Um,
[25:53] talk about that at all from the card fund. Uh,  are you going to replace carts next year or the
[26:00] year after? When does I set a reminder that for us  to talk about that at the September meeting? So,
[26:05] get through this and then maybe um maybe we do  a do a walk through on it. I don't know. I can
[26:12] get deep guys opinion. They're not they're not  bad. They're still still in pretty good shape
[26:16] on the seats. We do have they sent brand new  seats. There's a little recall cuz the tucked
[26:22] in at the bottom under the seat was coming  out. So, they we have a new brand new seat
[26:26] for every cart that we own that we put on at  any time. Ours have not really had that issue,
[26:31] but apparently some of the other also we have  brand new seats whenever we want them. Um,
[26:40] and we really haven't had they've done a great  job keeping them up and repairing anything in
[26:43] the front. Um, there's some cosmetic damage, you  know, different things obviously after four years,
[26:49] but all in all, they're not terrible. So,  that would be a decision I think we need
[26:53] to decide with the financial, how does  that look financially? Is it worth it
[26:57] to do get new carts or do we need to go  in more? So, I'll put all that together
[27:03] um if you're good with that, but that's  something I need. Right. I might even try to get
[27:14] ready. You may know. Will that have to go back  out for bid or since they're already a current?
[27:21] We start a new lease. Can we do that or we have  to bid that back out? It depends on what we have
[27:26] written if they have renewal options on it. Okay.  Okay. So I think with Georgia we did what we had
[27:34] the option to do. I think we did. So I'll gather  all that and we'll back we'll have a discussion.
[27:42] Yeah. I guess somebody said something about the  tires the other day and I looked at one card and
[27:47] it did look like tires were wearing but not a  big deal. I mean well that's the if we need I
[27:53] can tell him I've got 20 tires to be replaced.  We'll have 20 tires here in two days. So that's
[27:59] they do. You want to push it till I mean if you  got especially if you got new seeds I mean if
[28:04] we go a year early we have to buy the rest of  that leaf so it just makes our next leation
[28:15] [snorts]
[28:22] that it for the uh financial update go okay  continuation of prior business the irrigation
[28:31] updates. Well, um bring up speed. We we obviously  we replaced seven back. Now we're in the process
[28:38] of uh getting text and Auburn done. Um we  just went through the bid process. We hired
[28:43] a consultant. Um he did his initial designs.  He got those to us two weeks ago, maybe a
[28:49] week ago. Probably um and now working with the  superintendent with Darren Seth to kind of tweak
[28:54] the design that he laid out, make sure we have  everything where we want it. We're getting really
[28:59] close. I'm kind of going back and forth. Right  now, I expect by the end of this week probably
[29:03] will be in a good spot. Um, and then we'll use  his design and he that person will also serve kind
[29:08] of as the project manager. So, we'll bid that out  to the contractors to come and do the work. He'll
[29:13] make sure through the process they're doing it up  to his specs and hope that it goes pretty smooth.
[29:19] Um, I will say his early estimations were probably  going to go a little bit over budget on both both
[29:25] jobs. Um, which you knew was a possibility. some  complete guess and the price of the pipe because
[29:31] of the price of oil has went up um quite a bit.  So, um it looks like we're potentially over about
[29:38] 200,000 per job. Um now, we did at MAC we were  under 300,000. So, we have a little cushion there
[29:45] and then we may need to supplement. Um, the good  thing that I think is on our side is if when we
[29:53] bid these out, I know there are a few contractors  that have some openings in the fall and have the
[29:58] bandwidth to have two separate crews on site. They  can mobilize once. I I told him we and he agrees
[30:05] we want two different project managers. I don't  want one person trying to do both. Uh, but he
[30:10] thinks they're going to be very aggressive just  because it's a they're fairly easy jobs. um and
[30:15] they can mobilize basically in one place and and  get it. So I think that will help. That'll be on
[30:20] our side a little bit um when the bids come back,  but potentially uh we need to be prepared for a
[30:26] little bit over. So we were originally thinking  like two for tax and 2.5 here. Yeah. And tax he
[30:35] is estimate was 2.2 to 2.3 and here was 2.6. So  initial now we're still working on the design.
[30:43] Right. So basically the way they come up with  that is they take how many heads you have. That's
[30:47] estimated is between 23 and $2,500 per head and  then if there's any out of the normal areas like
[30:55] where we have to bore across the streets here.  They kind of factor that into what they think it's
[31:00] going to come back at. And then of course we hope  that someone bids us their their bid. Now they
[31:06] he's very upfront that I'm going to give you kind  of an high expectation cuz I don't want to tell
[31:12] you it's going to be 2.1 it comes back at 2.5 and  then you hate me. So I'm telling you kind of high
[31:17] side and hopefully we get it better. So we may  come in right on budget but just cushion to work
[31:22] with a little a little it's not enough to cover  if it comes back where he's 300k is can be used.
[31:31] That's right. It's still basically in one. That's  right. That's right. Yep. [clears throat] Now,
[31:38] we did have to spend 120,000 to get the um  basically the controls and everything working
[31:44] out here. Uh which we were going to have to do  anyway with the new irrigation. So, um really that
[31:50] 300,000 you might as well say it's 200,000. Yeah,  cuz we that's compatible with this. Yeah. Yeah.
[32:00] Yeah. So, uh hopefully by the end of the week or  early next week, we have the designs, everybody's
[32:07] happy, sign off, and then we can start packaging  up and RFB to uh to send out probably that two,
[32:17] three weeks and then see how we come back and  get somebody on contract and be ready to start.
[32:22] We're hoping for aggressively November, early  December latest. That would put us at a probably
[32:29] early April finish time, possibly late March,  depending on when doing both courses through
[32:36] the winter time. Yeah. Two totally separate  groups. Could be the same company with two
[32:40] totally separate groups. That's right. That'd be  good. That group doing allation systems and just
[32:47] a little over two years. Yeah. Yeah. having that  done and behind it would be Max. Yeah, Max. So,
[32:55] so at at MAG and I haven't been there yet, but I  talked to a couple guys that were out there and
[33:01] they said that it's looking really good except for  the area where they trenched and then they put the
[33:06] sod back over that that still hasn't taken and  just started to turn. There's been improvements
[33:13] there. Some of the areas have they up well and  some have not at all. So, yeah, I like I said,
[33:18] I haven't been out to see them. I just Yeah.  Yeah. So, there's nothing like crazy terrible,
[33:24] but there's definitely uh played out there  last week and the ball landed right in the
[33:29] scene. Couldn't find it and it was that far  under the ground where it was in probably the
[33:32] worst spot on the golf course. Um but yeah,  there there definitely some spots and we will
[33:37] uh they will come up probably back in the fall  and redo what they need to for that. So, okay,
[33:47] it's kind of a let give give it time, let it  do what it's supposed to do, and if it there's
[33:52] problems, we'll come back and take there were a  lot of compliments on the bunkers on red bunkers
[33:57] and stuff, but a lot of guys said they like that.  It's great. You know, we had that five six inch
[34:04] rain and the next morning they were dry as it  would be. Last year, we got one inch of rain, they
[34:09] were up to the top of water for three days. So,  it was they're definitely doing their job. Good.
[34:19] I'll do it on the water bill. Yeah, this turn on  uh city water four days Thursday or Friday. Um so
[34:28] yeah, we're we're using city water right  now. Unfortunately, when it's this hot,
[34:31] we're using a lot of city water, so it's  going to be it's going to be expensive.
[34:35] Um, we are looking at trying to come up with  a way to put that retention bigger retention
[34:41] pond between 10 and 18 U where that group of  trees are. That would allow us, we were just
[34:46] talking before the meeting when even during that  big rain when we had we lost a ton of water fill
[34:52] up and then we're just watching all that water  that we need run off down the road. So, uh, if
[34:56] we can get that pond in place, we can collect that  water and that would give us another 3 4 weeks of
[35:03] of water when we need it when it's it's dry. So,  we definitely could use some some rain right now.
[35:13] Any other questions, comments, or  concerns on irrigation? [clears throat]
[35:21] Well, I'd like to talk about  some blue muted conversion.
[35:25] Sam, I'll go over it, but you'll be able  to answer questions much better. So,
[35:32] um I know we talked about this and I  don't think I can think you were here and
[35:38] um I bring you up speed. We're looking at  at SIM doing a blue muda conversion. So,
[35:43] the fairways right now um we're going to  add basically oversee with a blueg grass
[35:49] where they they don't compete with each other.  You have a much better turf year round. Um,
[35:54] so that's that's kind of the goal. We've looked  at several courses, some in the area. Um,
[36:03] went down and looked the fairways are awesome  down there and then there's several Joplin,
[36:07] Springfield, Lake, the Ozarks we've talked to and  everyone's had great success with. Yeah. Yeah. So,
[36:14] um, kind of gave you this print out with  a timeline of what this looks like. Um,
[36:18] a lot of prep work that won't really affect play.  might notice a little bit um some of the areas may
[36:24] turn yellow just a little bit later this month  um just because he's going to scalp them down,
[36:29] but um it really won't affect play. Um but we're  going to start blasting this out and let everyone
[36:34] know what's going on um here probably next week.  Um, but a lot of the prep work that he can speak
[36:42] on that if if anybody has questions, but the  we're going to go through Labor Day and then
[36:47] uh September 8th through 11th basically will be  when we we do do the seat. We're also going to
[36:53] take that time to um do punch the greens since  we're already going to be down. That way we're
[36:59] not having to close back up for something else.  Um we'll be walking only for 10 days because
[37:06] the fairways will be extremely wet and then we'll  switch to cart path only for we'll play about here
[37:12] two three weeks maybe maybe four weeks um just to  make because they are going to have to stay pretty
[37:17] wet with that seed and then um when Jerry meets  comfortable with it we'll open back up but um to
[37:24] 90° but um I think overall this is going to make a  huge difference going to be a m big improvement at
[37:30] the golf course And uh just like you know what we  did at text a few years ago when we had the winter
[37:38] kill. I think if we do this right and let everyone  know and communicate very well, people are going
[37:42] to be happy that we're doing something to improve  the be a minor uh minor short inconvenience for
[37:49] a long-term much better. Yeah. If it's a home  run there then back. Yeah. Yeah. And you didn't
[37:56] do the two holes that you talked about a few  months ago. No, we we after we started looking
[38:00] and talking to everybody and looked at the cost,  it's it's just right at 40,000 start to finish to
[38:05] do the whole golf course. No, let's do it. And  worst case scenario, some this won't happen,
[38:11] but if somehow it didn't take, we're right where  we start. Yeah, we're out a little money, but
[38:16] it's going to Yeah, it's it's so um you can jump  in and add it and send your people if you want.
[38:21] If you want to come you want to sit right there  just so the microphone can pick you up over here.
[38:28] I have a couple [clears throat] questions. Okay.  Um, so here you're, if I'm reading this right,
[38:34] you're saying the first date that things might be  shaky in terms of normal playing will be later. We
[38:39] can't start the stuff that starts at 8 September.  The no stop that interferes with play. That makes
[38:47] play wonky. The Labor Day leaves on the 7th. So,  we're going to do the 8th. So, the 8th start,
[38:54] right? That's the weekend. That's where you're  going to start that there be some issues with
[38:58] normal play. Right. My concern is we have two home  team plays later that month. I think only two. I
[39:05] just texted to make sure. Um besides regular late  days, late days on Tuesdays, we post team play,
[39:14] but I think it's just the last two. So I  think we'll have I think what we looked up,
[39:19] we saw them and they were 24th, 18th, and 25th.  Okay. Not even close. Okay. We looked up a little
[39:25] bit. the 25th are both at home, but the other two  September Fridays we track. It will probably be
[39:31] car path only by that point. Yeah, they won't. So,  we'll just have to see if we can figure out to go
[39:37] maybe switch our home for day four when these team  events cancel. They cancel they postponed. Yeah,
[39:45] there's there's too many seniors that do that.  So, the 18th is within that walk only window.
[39:54] So that one will need to be I'm pretty  sure I'm sorry. I'm pretty sure Ken me see
[40:05] I think we mentioned something to him about ladies  days. I'm not sure. Was he thinking of team played
[40:13] basketball? Okay. Would the groups be up? I mean,  is that kind of the point is to play it at your
[40:18] your court? We do home and away alternate by year  and yeah, I mean, I don't think our girls are
[40:24] going to the same girls won't yell and scream  about going someplace else. The problem is if
[40:28] they haven't already if let's say well the 18th  of the Will event hasn't already set aside that
[40:33] day. There may be some other a tournament or  something that they we one of our so it would
[40:42] be like a mutual site. Yeah. Maybe. Yeah, let  me let me check on that. Okay. Now that I know
[40:49] for sure which ones will be affected. Yeah.  Okay. We'll we'll work through something.
[40:57] I call scalding knock out grass  to be seated. Yes. So basically
[41:01] what we're doing is right now there's  still goose grass dry grass left over
[41:10] the weed. So later this week I'm thinking
[41:15] this time next week we're going to start hearing  yellow be a number of weeks and as we're doing
[41:21] this I'm also in the process of dropping high  a little bit every week because we received
[41:28] um everything still playing properly  faster you know things that um now the
[41:37] cuts can be a little tighter so with all setting
[41:41] different um but just make sure we get a  seed as best chance. So when you're receding,
[41:51] are you reseing the Bermuda and the blue? Yeah.  So yeah. So basically what it does is these work
[41:57] together and so you either see I'm using a  four-way gland going two different direction.
[42:09] So the thing is is like your fall time,  winter time, early spring, your blue rass
[42:14] your most dominant grass. So you're going to  bring grass to your run element. Plus it's
[42:17] going to be the car truck that we have in the  winter time. It's going to stand up the grass
[42:20] stand be show up from the car truck we have. We  still play the offse early summer hot summers.
[42:36] So they work together back then and  bluegrass is perennial. So he come back here.
[42:47] Yeah. That's very interesting.
[42:52] Little paddles back. Yeah. So actually  my last property I was at in Oklahoma
[42:59] number years ago. I did some team off with  this. It turned out phenomenal to this day.
[43:05] um a lot of course I was over in southeast  Kansas only courses in my area over there
[43:11] and so I was able to see firsthand start idea  but I see people do this grass is going to do
[43:16] with grass as well as well and my thing is like  definitely one of the positives definitely neg
[43:31] issues with never road bikes like  that. Um so the public definite
[43:54] how's the irrigation system work as far because  you're going to do this evenings and you have
[43:58] to keep them moist so playable areas you know  irrigation system works pretty well. One thing
[44:04] I've noticed though, they are very sandy a lot of  areas. So the water does go through quite a bit
[44:10] through this process here. I'm actually ordering  a bunch of obtaining wing to spray air that's
[44:17] going to help hold that water and that same water  board [clears throat] maximizing for us. You're
[44:24] going to spray what it's called retaining  agent. So retention. So basically instead
[44:30] the water going straight through a profile this  chemical is going to be in profiles that's going
[44:34] to help hold that water there. Okay where it's  going to maximize the water like right now you
[44:40] know I got water next day we're doing that  but we should definitely start seeing more
[44:52] every year or if it works out well it's  free monthly monthly. Okay, like that. Um,
[44:58] obviously you can definitely tell the we  don't have irrigation in like the rush.
[45:01] They're starting to turn grown out. Um, one  of the boxes the heads probably should place
[45:09] on a different side of the P box the  max watering where we have some heads
[45:13] that's on the north side of the P box. You  know, we have a predominantly south of man
[45:17] most of the year. So you'll see some areas  that there's [clears throat] the most part
[45:28] went through full. Yeah, they've got years. Yeah,  they've had their back n for the front n was three
[45:36] years, two years. Oh, okay. So it's and then  they back on it for a year and the blueg grass
[45:41] is come back every single and they I think  they said after the first year they had very
[45:46] very minimal seating spot here and there just  to make sure I filled in. Um but um everybody
[45:51] else I know has done this they've all done very  very minimal that's a game changer. [laughter]
[46:01] Yeah. [clears throat] And the blue guys  stand the traffic. I mean because all
[46:05] of our groceries are getting you know  40 50,000 pounds a year. Yeah. So one
[46:09] of the horses that um definitely was  the first to do this over in Jerusale
[46:16] they're pack they had pumps like me right  here. They might not do as many rounds
[46:21] like Texas [clears throat] and it's handled  beautifully. They've had it for a number of
[46:26] years now. Couple of horses over spring.  Same thing. Um the city forced the car
[46:32] reser I just switched over this last year  well and a couple hosts there right on top
[46:41] and I'm sorry if you covered this and I  missed it because I have to think about
[46:45] these things a lot. This is not my field. Um,  we don't have a lot. We don't have irrigation
[46:50] in the rough and you're receiving the  roof and No, I'm not receiving. Oh,
[46:55] okay. We're doing fairways and detox. I was going  to say, how are we going to keep the secret? Yeah,
[46:59] the rough are going to be. So, what do you  difference of how much how tall we can cut the
[47:06] parways? So, when we when everything is all  grown in, I mean, as of a couple weeks ago,
[47:12] I was keeping the 600,000 of the inch just  because that's where we're at. Um, moving forward,
[47:16] we'll probably stay right around saying that,  you know, and like, [clears throat] you know,
[47:22] changing seasonally like for the the winter  months, maybe go a little higher. Um,
[47:26] my thing that is typically with the blue grass,  most people I know do not go much higher. I do
[47:33] have it in my notes to where, you know, on the  where, you know, depending what we're seeing
[47:36] with with the curve where we can always bump  up a little higher, if we need to be, you know,
[47:40] we need to go up to three quarters, we could or we  go a little higher. I mean who wants to do that?
[47:51] So I definitely think this be a game  changer for you know said [snorts]
[47:59] it would be something good. Have we talked  about the associated cost of this just Yep. All
[48:05] all in start to finish with every chemical every  everything just spread out. Okay. I was thinking
[48:10] that was you just that's that's the overseating.  Yeah. I mean, I know that's what you're doing
[48:17] technically, but public results, not just for  three months, not just Okay. So, just so I
[48:26] can get the message out to my group, we'll have a  ladies day on September 8th. That's you're saying
[48:33] you're going to see it. September 8th. Oh, okay.  All right. Labor Day is on the seventh, right?
[48:49] Do any of the courses uh irrigate the rough? Is  it I mean I guess I'm asking for tanks. Tanks can
[48:57] have Yeah. Yeah. I mean there's irrigation not  as much the fairway as two or three rows in the
[49:04] fairway and pretty much one on the outside. Yeah.  tax is going to have I think it was,71 heads is
[49:10] where we're at right now where Sam had six 658  or something like that. A lot bigger piece of
[49:18] ground and it's wall to wall basically. So  the last thing we want to do is put a new
[49:24] irrigation system and then everything between  the holes dies and looks terrible. So yeah,
[49:28] it's going to be an interesting golf  course with irrigation. Yeah, the Arizona
[49:36] know [clears throat]
[49:39] where my ball seems all the way dirt. What if that  part? Yeah, but there's a lot of different. Yeah,
[49:48] we will. I mean I think once we get this  once we get through this year this going
[49:51] to be a year and we know all the stuff  right here this way we can start steps
[49:56] to start fixing the rough you know there that  is get things fixed that's going to be most
[50:06] how much
[50:10] that's reason why we're keeping taller is because  of all the traffic that I'm doing two and a half
[50:15] in as opposed to try to handle we have and stuff  like that because when I got there last fall it
[50:21] all beat and beat down and so if I do keep a  little taller you know whereas we're going to
[50:26] stand and we're not going to have a lot of yeah  I just know you know around 150 out from 183 on
[50:35] that east side yeah yeah take a long way to get  to the rest of the yeah does this upper seating
[50:46] include the T boxes as well. Todd, fairways  and brushes. Did forestry make it out today?
[50:54] Lorenzo came by and we thought a little bit  trying to get John back over there. He thought
[50:58] they probably get free to circum the one thing  we're looking at today primarily number nine
[51:04] T box is back in that corner and all the stuff  on the outside of the golf course is grown up.
[51:09] There's no air flow. There's all that just  keep we can't grow grass right there. So,
[51:13] we're looking at some way to thin that out a  little bit. Um, we really need to over time
[51:18] get that pole fence line down through there  because it just blocks all the air flow to
[51:23] help for two decades. Right. Right. So in the  very front box. [clears throat] Yes. The very
[51:33] back T box there. We get all that shaft and  all the trees there all up at least 9 ft. Get
[51:38] some air flow through there. By doing that will  definitely be able to grow grass there. you know,
[51:44] where I've got the soil works where there's  nothing wrong with the soil and tea losses. It's
[51:47] it's air flow and shape. So, they told us that  the first time like 20 years ago, and I thought,
[51:52] well, they cut down some dead trees. [laughter]  I got the [clears throat] answer to this. I don't
[51:57] know nothing about last year that that big green  was gone once those teas were gone. The green's
[52:03] hanging in pretty good. But one thing with that  is is I was able to grab on the old pants from CL
[52:08] last week. Instead of doing that whereby eight  grain back to four grain same airflow issue I
[52:16] can take it back to port on the green there.  Yeah. Great idea. Got that pan that runs off
[52:24] a generator and it was unclap. I didn't even know  that they existed but it was on the back back of
[52:29] the maintenance barn at Mac and pulled it up. Is  that area back there is that botanic or is that
[52:36] far? It's part it's right up against a riverbank  for the most part. So it's park technically,
[52:42] but it's not a usable part of the park. It's  just grown up there. The park is kind of on
[52:45] the other side of that. I'm just curious if we  need to get somebody's blessing or something.
[53:01] Just say yes and we'll move on.
[53:07] Okay. Uh, any more questions about  the bloom and uh that process.
[53:15] Okay.
[53:19] Guess we'll move on then to uh new items for  consideration. We're we're at a point of the
[53:24] year where it's just trying to survive. We're not  trying to start a lot of new projects other than
[53:29] this. So, uh, we have a lot of things lined up  for the fall we'll be talking about for the next
[53:33] couple meetings, but right now I don't have a lot.  I'm just trying to keep our heads above water. So,
[53:38] I I rechecked that area after we talked the other  day out on seven by where you said that car path.
[53:43] If you go five steps past the walking bridge,  right, right there, right, where is where it's
[53:50] eroding away and you don't have the maybe six,  eight inches of soil there, right? And then I
[53:55] saw where uh I think Darren put some some rock  kind of down in there to to try to keep it from
[54:02] from washing the soil and stuff away. Yeah. And  it is a very temporary very It'll help. It's not
[54:10] going to do a lot and it's very expensive. That  little spot right there was about $1,500. Yeah.
[54:15] because he and then somebody uh I can't remember  who told me this and I don't even know if it's
[54:20] true or not but somebody told me that they were  going to put you know how they did that rock at
[54:27] uh Texas solver along nine there big rock like  that like they were going to do rock like that
[54:33] on part of that the reason we were able to do that  in Texas that rock exist in Pony Prairie Park and
[54:42] we just they said we were we could use it so we  didn't pay for anything other than the work and we
[54:46] did it all in house and they did a phenomenal job  as to So you're thinking the pond on that? Yeah,
[54:56] just that creek on seven. [clears throat]  Somebody said something about doing a a wall
[55:01] retaining wall right there. Yeah, which got me  thinking about that eroded area. If you could
[55:07] do something with rock and and I don't know, we we  had the engineers come in and we're still waiting
[55:13] on them to get back kind of what [clears throat]  their suggestions and kind of what it would look
[55:17] like for the path and for that that wall. Um but  yeah, there's every pond out here as we know has
[55:23] got a lot of um erosion and that one on seven.  We were looking at possibly doing a wall there,
[55:29] whether it's wood, concrete, rocks, whatever. And  that's what we're kind of waiting on them to get
[55:34] back to. Would that be in the flood plane?  There's so much permitting and everything's
[55:38] got to be signed off and you don't know a lot  more about this than I can, but um we haven't
[55:44] gotten that back from me. It's been four or  five weeks now. Hopefully have that any day.
[55:49] Um yeah, we we're going to have to address that.  And it's not just there. It's number two, number
[55:54] four, number uh pretty much every pond out here.  Number one. Um number one's probably that I can
[56:03] tell 6 8 ft in from where it started because the  150 ponds out in the water. So that obviously used
[56:10] to be fairway. Um so yeah, there there's a lot  of expense that we're going to have to figure out
[56:14] with ponds out here. Uh luckily the other I mean  we have rosen out the other pushes but they're not
[56:20] in a place where it's that it doesn't matter as  much here it's this far from the green on forward
[56:27] on the cart path on on the side. Yeah. So do you  have to get approval through the engineers for
[56:34] any of the pond work or is it just that specific  one that runs down there by step if it falls in
[56:41] the designated flood plane they're yeah they  have to be involved. I would definitely get
[56:45] them involved. Last thing I want to do is create a  problem on accident, you know, the area. So, yeah,
[56:51] they'll have to be involved. Now, what they may  come out say, you know, technically you won't need
[56:57] a permit for this, but you will for this type is  the we're talking about the bridge also the bridge
[57:04] is out on on seven. Yeah. Yeah. The walking bridge  is double turns. Is it remember that is that
[57:11] common knowledge that the bridge is going away  because it's gotten I'm just I I I have I've had
[57:19] my ear bent by a few loud voices um who are pretty  distressed by that. Yeah. And people think we can
[57:25] just fix the railing and be done. It's the bridge  is about to fall in but underneath that's eroded
[57:30] so far back. There's a piece of concrete that's  should have dirt underneath it and it's sticking
[57:35] up as far. That's what's holding it's just going  away. It's gone. Yeah. And that was not an option.
[57:39] That's we were told. Okay, you're done. Yeah, shut  that down. So, uh, we were looking at possibly
[57:51] [clears throat] adding a walking bridge on the  down a little ways on to the if you're playing
[57:56] the home more to the left of where it currently  is where it's a little bit more narrow. Um,
[58:00] but again, [snorts] that's expensive.  It's in a flood plan. A lot more than
[58:04] just you can't just build a little wave  in the water. Yeah, [laughter] exactly.
[58:15] That's what it is several times. Getting the word.  Yeah. Said he was getting a bunch of complaints
[58:21] about the bridges bridge. I mean I people come  to me all the time. I'll come out there tonight
[58:26] bring it with a hammer and a couple nails. Big  set of Yeah. People think it's the railway and
[58:30] I tried telling it's not the railway. I said,  "Look underneath there. You can actually see the
[58:34] concrete pylon and the dirt on this side of it  has all washed away. It's all I mean, if you if
[58:41] you stop and take a look at it, you can see pretty  easily." I don't think anybody that I'm talking
[58:45] to is saying you could fix it, but you won't.  They're just saying there has to be a fix of some
[58:50] kind because the cartels laid out so poorly that  for a walker or even if I'm if I'm in your cart,
[58:58] but I hit to the right of the green. Yeah. Right.  I don't want to have to go in my car a stupid way
[59:04] and then walk back trucks. I mean, sure. Yeah. I'm  not hearing anybody say you guys should be able to
[59:09] fix it. They're saying you should find a solution.  I wish they would have picked a car path where
[59:13] it's at now. If over the kept it on that side and  went around the back of the It's just a badly laid
[59:20] out. So, I don't know anything about bridges, but  I would think that if you started back far enough
[59:26] and went far enough and did like a steel, like I  said, I've been a bridge expert for a few years,
[59:33] but if you did, you know, I don't know what the  cost is, but it will affect a lot of the walkers
[59:39] and I'll live. Yeah. Or learn to jump. When I  make a video tomorrow just kind of zoom in off
[59:48] the underside of it just to let people know it's  not just that we're ignoring that maybe. That's
[59:53] the best way to do it. Just gone and then I'm  not going to comment. So just post it. [laughter]
[1:00:00] Well, lucky we're the minority,  not the majority. So, no car.
[1:00:09] I mean, not for when I first got here, one of the  first things people wanted to bridge between uh
[1:00:14] five and six. I did 100. I mean, yeah, it would  be be great. You used to be able to jump back
[1:00:21] a bags to be done and used to a little walking  bridge that cost $60,000. No, I get it's a huge
[1:00:28] cost. [snorts] Yeah, got bigger problems. How  wide is that crete? As you get closer towards
[1:00:36] the white and blue TE's down there, is it any  more narrow as it goes down that way? I haven't
[1:00:46] I haven't ever went back and looked in there.  I'm just curious. Oh, right. If if it's you
[1:00:52] say you know where the walking bridge is now  if back towards the white and blue tea boxes
[1:00:57] a little further 20 or 30 yards back this way  the creek stay that yeah it gets real thick with
[1:01:02] trees and brush and so I don't know the tea box  I really don't know how wide it is because it's
[1:01:08] big yeah I don't get the right it's pretty deep  other options yeah something still pondering the
[1:01:18] change of the cart that you were talking about  yeah feedback back is not that was another
[1:01:22] thing we're waiting on the engineers like just  going to get their what they suggested there but
[1:01:27] um the feedback's not been real great on that  so I don't think everybody understands because
[1:01:35] I didn't understand when you first told us I don't  either I'd like to go and see what you're talking
[1:01:39] about and after I talked to you that day and then  I stopped there and I looked and then I could see
[1:01:44] yeah here's what he's talking about right here so  literally you know and then you go down you make
[1:01:48] the left and then go over the bridge or up where  you make that left the bond you're this far from
[1:01:53] the water and it's eroding back. So that piece  of carpet we either have to shore that up quickly
[1:01:58] or rewrap that carpet because it's fall and so  there's more to it than just by that wall washer
[1:02:04] on or the wall washer. Yeah. Uh just past the just  past the red TE's where if you're on at the cart
[1:02:11] where you make the left to go along the creek and  then right over the bridge right where you make
[1:02:14] that like first turn there bridge you'll see that  so you just cut across and then I saw go straight
[1:02:26] to the bridge and you won't have to worry about  being and so a walker who's going to the red te's
[1:02:36] and just walk that way to the left side. The  left side. Okay. And then from there, you would
[1:02:44] just walk straight to where car would go on 18.  Stop. Walk over just like people in the cars do
[1:02:54] without adding another parking bridge.  I don't know. There's no other way.
[1:03:01] I mean, I would like to get the big  boulders like that. It looked fantastic
[1:03:16] there's [clears throat] something that they  would use. Oh yeah, there's a lot of good
[1:03:21] grasses. I mean, any good grass will use,  but that stuff that is in the Flint Hills,
[1:03:25] what's that stuff called? That buffalo grass.  That's what they say. That's what they always
[1:03:31] They take kids to the nature center and they  Let me show you the cross section. Those huge
[1:03:38] roots go down. That spread. Is it dangerous?  Yeah. It's a It's a hot weather grass just
[1:03:45] like a Bermuda. It's a hot weather grass. I just  wonder if that could take the moisture that it
[1:03:52] would get in a area like that down to a tree and  maybe it can. Okay. I don't know. You would want
[1:03:59] Yeah. Last thing I want to do is try to fix  that and something. Well, there's no shade.
[1:04:06] That's why you have to stay away from Bermuda  because it goes underneath sidewalks and
[1:04:10] driveways. But yeah, you don't want any. You  got enough of that problem. You don't have
[1:04:14] much here. But well, I'm just thinking if we  have so many places where erosion is a problem,
[1:04:20] there might be an easier fix if we I don't get  to do our due diligence and study that a little
[1:04:28] bit. Yeah. So we have a one of the neighbors on  number two. So if you're teeing off on number two,
[1:04:34] that pond to the left, that's not really  in play on the far side. There's a strip
[1:04:37] of land there that didn't realize that's part  of the golf course. So we get now. Uh but that
[1:04:43] pond the erosion, they the trees were growing  up and it was blocking their view of the golf
[1:04:47] course. So they asked if we could cut them  down. We were told absolutely. We cut the
[1:04:52] top of them down. Forester came out and was nice  enough to to knock [clears throat] them in half,
[1:04:56] but they were engineered. So you cut those trees  down and that pond that wall is gone. If you take
[1:05:00] those trees up here. Yeah. Rail system is  how potent they are. Exactly. Exactly. So
[1:05:09] and they were super We met with them over  there and we we went over and you know
[1:05:12] they fully understand it. But those trees  you cut them in half they grow three times
[1:05:16] faster after that. They probably already 8  in taller than they were two weeks ago when
[1:05:22] we did it. So probably a river approach or  something. Yeah. [clears throat] What's just
[1:05:26] an offthe-wall question? What's the cost of  a water station? Just what do you currently
[1:05:30] have out here? Just what a water station to a  jug and the enclosure and everything with Oh,
[1:05:36] wouldn't I mean if you order it through a golf  company, they're about 1,800 for the stand,
[1:05:42] I believe. And are these order out  here? I say Aubra could use three aside.
[1:05:51] These ones, I believe, and they paint them  every year. I was trying to think what's out
[1:05:54] here. They they pay them every year. Um I mean  we can't spend 10 grand at every golf course,
[1:06:00] but we can build them for we get someone that just  learning skills with that. Yeah. I just wonder why
[1:06:07] Aubbert has two and has three aside and bad on  that one. How many Sam have a side? Three. Sonic.
[1:06:18] Right now we have 74. same and tax is kind of  funny because you pass every when you're walking
[1:06:28] it's hot. So we took that one down. We put a  new one down. Okay. So it's over the houses.
[1:06:34] Then when you get to 17 here and it's busy it's  it's empty and you're kind of struggling for
[1:06:42] those of us who don't have to walk this course.  What do you mean? When you get to 16 17t, a lot
[1:06:50] of times in the summer that thing's done by the  time we get to it. But depending on time of day,
[1:06:55] if you had three, you wouldn't have that concern.  It's not a big deal. It's just I've said it. Well,
[1:07:02] it's big deal today. It was It was fine today.  Yeah. Yeah. The big complaint I had in the last
[1:07:10] couple weeks is that they're not being filled  soon enough. Oh, I'll say it back in Sam and
[1:07:17] this is unfortunate, but we fill them and then we  have unhoused folks that come and fill up three
[1:07:23] gallons of Happens every day. Yeah, cuz we get a  call, we're like, we just filled that 30 minutes
[1:07:32] ago. It's impossible. People are doing Yeah. Not  so much here. Here. Yellow. That's his fault.
[1:07:45] And the problem is you don't know if it's  empty till it's empty and you're ready to teal,
[1:07:48] right? You're not going to get water yet. Just  an idea. Yeah. And it's not a bad idea. I mean,
[1:07:56] they got to the side, but they stuck another one  and have three aside, so it would only it wouldn't
[1:08:01] be. Yeah. I really enjoy Texas. Texas has ice  cold water and they're always got always full
[1:08:07] always got water in. Another thing I want to look  at here is our encourse bathrooms. They're they're
[1:08:13] terrible. The structures are terrible. The w they  have water fountains they had that are shut down,
[1:08:19] but we could add those back and get those  function. Yeah, they they need a lot of work, but
[1:08:23] that would be five and it 14. Yeah. So, that could  be another option there. Yeah. Without running
[1:08:32] out. Just as good if you have the water rest down.  If we added the fountain with the you know film
[1:08:41] what needs to be done to the built the restrooms  themselves. They're brick buildings are cracked
[1:08:46] one on five so that crack that line. So what has  to be done? Is it tear down and start over? Is it
[1:08:54] I need to get someone to come out and look at  it. Um, which work this week. I I really I can
[1:09:02] look at it and tell you that it looks terrible.  I don't know if that's a something you can fix or
[1:09:06] something that is too foundation settled to where  the building. Yeah. The what do you call that? The
[1:09:15] center block. Yeah. It's I mean it's got cracks  this big on the outside of the building. So just
[1:09:21] puts that phone in the ground and it works. I say  that sounds like somebody knew what they're doing.
[1:09:26] And there might be a way there. I don't actually  we have a guy in the W club that he does him and
[1:09:32] his dad do that for a living and I he went over  to Dave B's house and his garage floor had it
[1:09:39] sunk like 2 in and they came in and they jacked  it up and same thing I sprayed it with some foam
[1:09:45] stuff or something underneath there and that was  super take a look and see what was all we needed.
[1:09:56] That's right. Watch that. Can't  look any worse than Texas videos,
[1:10:03] but yeah, if he can talk about if he can look  at that'd be great. Yeah, his name's Ben Camden,
[1:10:08] but I would ask him to come out, take a look, and  just see if he can tell what [clears throat] the
[1:10:12] way the foundation is, where the crack is, and if  it's something he thinks he could do because Yeah,
[1:10:18] what they do would be great. Just to get a  initial painting started. Men's club. Men's club
[1:10:22] here. Yeah. Jeff V. Is Jeff Van still playing  there or does he play on the weekend? Well,
[1:10:28] he played Well, he's he's a nice I just know  him from Yeah. Okay. I didn't know like did
[1:10:36] I knock a scab off? I didn't know you two  had a beef. I was trying to be funny. Oh,
[1:10:41] okay. That's why. No, but Well, he he does he he  does work great. But he probably could actually
[1:10:50] work out here and those steps over there. I can  do all that. He's pretty good at what he does.
[1:11:00] Okay. How's the uh mowers? Yeah, the little Oh,  back there. Yeah. So, we expanded the areas. We
[1:11:11] bought a second one. We've expanded and I been out  there a lot. You can see I mean there there's no
[1:11:17] person alive that can cut cleaner than what those  things I mean there's perfect. So we've expanded
[1:11:21] multiple areas and he's kind of gotten more  familiar with how to set them up and how to use
[1:11:25] them. They're doing great. So So this guy will set  them out there each day and pick them up again.
[1:11:30] Yeah. Yeah. So each mower now he has I don't know  how three or four zones. So he has to take them
[1:11:35] from zone one to zone two to zone three. So you  have to manually transport. He's got a little
[1:11:39] trailer he hooks behind his deal that it fits  on perfect. Um, and yeah, he's they're working
[1:11:44] awesome. They look Is it same ones as reflections?  Uh, same concept, different brand. They about 28
[1:11:51] of them. I think they got as far as this is the  next next tire staff. Yeah. All you go out there,
[1:12:00] they're everywhere. They're everywhere. But it's  immaculate. Yeah. So, these don't require an
[1:12:05] antenna or point of abuse out on them. That's the  one problem we've had. There's a spot up by the
[1:12:11] putting green and it gets under that tree and it  loses a signal and then it just starts spinning it
[1:12:15] like it doesn't know what to Oh, that's hilarious.  So, it gets Yeah. So, it uses RTK then it's using
[1:12:21] satellite. Yeah. Yeah. It sends out a message  basically says Yeah. And that's only right. You
[1:12:29] still have your fairway mowers and green. We don't  have the fairway. We That's what Reflection is
[1:12:37] doing too though. just commons and right we looked  at uh we went to Waw Country Club. They've got two
[1:12:44] of the big Toro fairway mowers that are automated  or you can flip them and get on them and use them.
[1:12:52] They had mixed reviews on a lot of trying to  get it ironed out the way you want it. So yeah,
[1:13:00] but those are typically full-time employees  anyway, correct? They're not seasonal or fair. the
[1:13:05] people that do the fairway. [snorts] Well, someone  that's has the experience. Yeah. Exactly. Yep. So,
[1:13:16] yeah. I mean, I'm definitely very pleased with  what those mowers are doing at Mac and I know
[1:13:23] I had, you know, I had a comment but the last few  meetings, you know, 17 when you're playing at not
[1:13:29] Island, but the R3 kind of down the hill with the  water in front, man. When after that thing's done
[1:13:34] and you're standing on that T box, it looks Yeah,  it's insane how much better it looks. Str lines,
[1:13:40] everything. So, it does cuts to a butter piece  quarter inch accuracy. Those are right at 6,000.
[1:13:51] There's a subscription I think this year or  something like that. Yeah. And now there's
[1:14:01] a setup. It's $1,500 for the kit to get it  all going, but you can use that for if you
[1:14:06] buy 50 of them only. Oh, okay. So, yeah. So, but  the 795 is per M. 795 a year per mower, right?
[1:14:18] Um, name Bonnie and then they  told me to change their names
[1:14:24] to them and Louise. They just can't get closer.
[1:14:30] close to a clear.
[1:14:34] What's the uh what's the run time on those? I  mean, how long can they go before he has to take
[1:14:38] it back and have it recharge with the TV? How  old Jeremy on Xbox? I'm not sure on those ones.
[1:14:48] 8 hours maybe. I think it's so many. I can't  remember. I think that was eight hours. I mean,
[1:14:55] they're worthless if somebody steals them, but  you still have people that don't know that,
[1:14:58] right? So, he tries to run them when he's  there. Yeah. It's funny you say that. Today,
[1:15:04] he had it turned off, so I was kind of I was  going to steal this. How hard it would be,
[1:15:08] you know? It I mean, you don't just grab  it. Reflections are pretty small. Yeah,
[1:15:15] these are a little bit bigger than those.  Yeah, you definitely could, but it Yeah.
[1:15:23] Yeah. I mean, vandalism, they he deals with it  at his shop every day. It's unbelievable. So,
[1:15:31] no matter what we have, somehow  things are going to happen. So,
[1:15:34] yeah. Tell them about your  step a couple weeks ago or no
[1:15:44] clothing optional apparently at Sim  Maintenance. Wasn't homeless after hours.
[1:15:51] We had a nightly two weeks ago and um  they were out playing and I guess we all
[1:16:04] that's an interesting neighborhood. So  every day we I had an incident today that
[1:16:09] had called police at back. So it's non-stop.  A golfer or non golfer? Non-golfer. Well,
[1:16:16] and when you play the police always. Yeah.  It's very busy. Y was the I'm just curious
[1:16:24] now. You got me going. Was the incident  over in the homeless area by the shelter
[1:16:31] houses and stuff. The one we're talking about.  Yeah. Is in my maintenance yard. Yeah. So like
[1:16:37] my shop area for 14 grand. Yeah. Go straight  back to the on my building right there. Some
[1:16:44] there in that corner. he was up there doing  something. Um, you know, so the golfers up
[1:16:54] there and next time we have a video
[1:17:02] if you're dying to watch it.
[1:17:09] But that would be it seems like every week  I mean there's people at the little shelter
[1:17:13] down there from my shop for bathroom  stuff. I mean down there we got people
[1:17:16] coming in like this weekend I was working  this weekend up there go back to the shop
[1:17:23] water keys and stuff you know inside  the building keep the head couple weeks
[1:17:27] ago been in there was actually in that  building you know I was like you know
[1:17:38] obviously on to have that happen numerous  times. Have they uh has ready fence gear
[1:17:48] last week or two? We are putting a  new fence that fence is destroyed
[1:17:56] like electricity to it.
[1:18:01] No, we need to but yeah, the fence that's there  is destroyed so many. So probably dream we
[1:18:08] were able to raise the money to do like a run  like that on the whole property be fantastic.
[1:18:22] Okay. Uh guess the next thing was  new under consideration. Are we
[1:18:27] through that? There's anybody I know you  said you didn't have much right now. Uh,
[1:18:32] anybody else? Anything more to talk  about? Okay, go on to course updates then
[1:18:43] done that. Um,
[1:18:50] aside from what we've talked about, I don't think  we've kind of covered it as we went through the
[1:18:54] meeting. So, yeah. Yeah. I mean, I think they're  all going to take a little bit of a beating with
[1:18:58] this 1023. Yeah. temps, but that's Yeah, they're  working long hours doing a lot of hand watering
[1:19:06] right now to keep it happens fast when they start  to dry up. So, okay. Uh, marketing, consumer
[1:19:14] service updates. Um, I don't have a ton for you  guys. Um, we have a few more events for the year
[1:19:20] as far as the admin and doing event registration.  That's going to slow down. We'll have a few more
[1:19:25] groups like group type lessons for both adults and  juniors for the fall. Um we'll start we already
[1:19:31] started taking registration for that has been  looking good. Um food and bev side of things there
[1:19:36] was a couple well a fridge that we had to get  replaced um over at Mac. Um we actually had some
[1:19:43] damage on the one that the unit we got today and  instead of taking that damaged unit we're going
[1:19:46] to have to return it. That's the only way that we  can get a new product in. So we're going to wait
[1:19:50] another three or four days try to get that fridge  replaced. Besides that that's pretty much all I
[1:19:57] got. Nothing super new. Trying to get what we do  now consistent and kind of focused on that. Get
[1:20:02] through what we have this year and then go back  to game planning when we get closer to the fall
[1:20:06] through the winter. So, we've got some some ideas  if you want to talk about for videos that we talk
[1:20:12] about for [clears throat] Oh, yes. So, um we're  looking at some uh metagasses. And if you don't
[1:20:18] know what metagasses are, they're literally just  glasses that have cameras installed, microphones.
[1:20:23] So, I was thinking that would be it would be a  great thing to have like a day of life point of
[1:20:27] view per se for all of the different um  operations that we have from the people
[1:20:31] that are on the greenskeeper side, you know,  mowing grains, mowing fairways, that kind of
[1:20:35] stuff. Even from maybe Jesse kind of what he's  doing around, popping in and out of courses. So,
[1:20:40] myself popping in and out of courses. The people  at the pro shop were even, you know, staging
[1:20:44] a couple where they ask some of those weirder  questions just to, you know, have a laugh and get
[1:20:49] to know our staff. So that's kind of the There's  some good stuff happening over at the shop.
[1:21:01] We'd be like these were a terrible idea. Oh,  another one. Uh getting our head pros out. We
[1:21:08] haven't had new head pros or like tips from the  pros in a long time. Like we have some videos
[1:21:12] up from like it was 2015 or something like that.  Like they're pretty old. It'd be kind of cool to
[1:21:16] see not only like a down the line view of the  traditional camera, but actually what they're
[1:21:20] looking at as far as how their triplets from above  and what that clip face looks like at a dress and
[1:21:24] stuff kind of stuff. So, we think it'd be a cool  thing to have ours teach through the the lenses.
[1:21:30] We may have already done this, but we have we  haven't done very much on rules. I'm thinking of
[1:21:34] the rising to shambo thing we know. Have we ever  done things like that where we do, you know, rule
[1:21:40] of the day, rule of the month, rule of whatever?  We can definitely do that. When I first started,
[1:21:45] I kind of did like an overview of the game of  golf. That was kind of my first campaign idea.
[1:21:49] But I would think that would be a great idea  to just maybe have a little of the week or
[1:21:52] whatever. That video like talk about it. Yeah. Say  here's what happened and here's what they decided.
[1:21:59] That'd be that'd be a great idea. Maybe twice a  month we have or maybe once we do a rules rule
[1:22:05] of the week and then etiquette tip of the week  or something like that. I like that idea. Yeah,
[1:22:10] we we had done some of those last year. or  something. So the ref week attacks. Yeah.
[1:22:17] Way too many people. Yeah. Playing. I've got a  proposition for that, but we can discuss that.
[1:22:27] Yeah. Well, you thought of it. No, it's just  I mean the the gold the senior T's at Tex are
[1:22:34] 200 yards longer than the white T's at Auburn.  They're the same distance as the blues at Sims.
[1:22:39] And too many people just look, they don't look  at yardage. They just walk to the white TE's.
[1:22:43] That's what I play. Sure. And I'd like to make  the blue teeth black, the the white T's blue,
[1:22:49] and the gold TE's white. And I think everybody  just moves up. We did it at Reflection, and
[1:22:54] everybody went they just because you can't make  that. People are hitting hybrids or three in one,
[1:23:01] two. I mean, I played Saturday from the Tibs and  he had back almost every hole. That is a monster.
[1:23:09] Well, I mean to there are people that need to  play there. I but we play with people that join
[1:23:14] us and and and we try to I mean without saying,  "Dude, you got no business being there." I say,
[1:23:20] you know, the T's here, the senior TE's are 200  yards longer than the whites at Auburn. What do
[1:23:25] you play at Auburn? And they just don't catch the  hand. I don't know if it's ego or they just they
[1:23:30] just look at the T. I played whites, right? And  if you just and then just move the golds up to
[1:23:36] the reds and they can be a red and that's still  a good distance for tennis. It's just warm golf
[1:23:41] basically way they do it here at Auburn, right?  They have black te and and you're probably not
[1:23:46] talking about other than scorecards, right?  Any cost spray paint scorecards? Well, there's
[1:23:58] the scorecards. Okay. All the online stuff. The  course rating has to be reerated. There's it's
[1:24:05] not I've done it 20 times. It's not the end of  the world. But no, I know it's it's not little
[1:24:09] things for three months, right? I didn't think  about the whole science. You're right. Yeah.
[1:24:15] But that's a good idea. I I would agree with  you 100%. Yeah. It's just And it's only tax,
[1:24:20] right? That that that the yardage isn't  proportionate with the color. Right. Right. Yeah.
[1:24:29] I've only played it like that a couple times where  he had all the TE's all the way back and I had a
[1:24:33] couple of stees and I walk up and it's 70 yards  back to the man 6,300 from the seniors which is
[1:24:39] the blues at Sams and the it's almost the not that  much shorter than the blues at offer 7500 to like
[1:24:48] that what is it like 77 that's way up there  felt like 8700 [laughter] long and then I'd
[1:24:56] like to see some Sunday some uh better pens on the  weekend at Texas. Easy. What you mean? Just Yeah,
[1:25:05] just bring them in a little bit. They put them on  those back slopes that go away from you and they
[1:25:10] just they're hard enough. No, I'm telling you. And  for a Sunday, I mean, that's I don't care if it's
[1:25:15] Tuesday, Monday, whatever, you know, but when  you're It just adds another putt per one or two
[1:25:21] per hole, man. You're right. I don't get it. It's  a They're big greens. They're hard to put anyway.
[1:25:27] All right. Yeah, somebody slow, right? And  if you could just I mean just I mean the
[1:25:31] golf course is long enough it doesn't you don't  need to trick out the pin. So was bad. We played
[1:25:39] we played Saturday. They had a tournament  Saturday morning at Ryan the assistant.
[1:25:43] He popped over when we were playing. He was  like are the pins pretty rough. And I'm like
[1:25:46] there's a couple that are a little sketchy. And  he said we had to get out here in front of that
[1:25:50] tournament. He's like I did eight of these  in the pitch dark. So my apologies though.
[1:25:55] Well, just like not accepted. Like 10 here should  never be on the top shelf on the weekends. You
[1:26:01] just add another putt every possibly four putts  every Yeah. And then you're just going to It's
[1:26:08] just a that adds up over there's not that many  holes in it like that. Little things like that.
[1:26:13] Perfect example. People are going to aim for the  pin no matter what. They pull it left and then
[1:26:17] they chip it down too far. Go down the slope.  Now they're You can back and forth that one
[1:26:20] all day. Yes. Yeah. Yeah. And there's just on the  on Sundays when you want to get that golf course
[1:26:25] moving any of them. I don't know why the rotation  can't at some point they're easy. Why can't that
[1:26:30] be Sunday? I mean I know there's a rotation.  I get it. Yeah. Or maybe there isn't. I don't
[1:26:38] know. It's just what kind of I get middle back  is typically that you want if you can do it six
[1:26:44] front, six middle, six back. Yeah. Just rotate.  Yeah, I get I get that. And they're not far off.
[1:26:50] They're just he attacks the back of the greens run  away from you. Yeah. And you just run it by the
[1:26:56] hole and pretty much you're you're it's six eight  feet past and you just you're adding another putt.
[1:27:01] If they just bring it in where it's still on the  UPS slope where you don't have that it's they're
[1:27:07] not good. You're not a good putter is what I'm I  was going to say I was I was telling myself Well,
[1:27:13] I tell you what, you have to be a really good  putter. You get out there. Um, I told myself I
[1:27:19] wasn't going to talk this, but I lied. [laughter]  I'm passionate. I like it. No, you're you're not
[1:27:27] you're definitely not wrong. I mean, some points  are in the middle or they're like you said,
[1:27:32] they're in easier. At least the tougher holes  anyway, you know, been a couple times out here,
[1:27:39] but they've been [snorts] on 12 and on three.  Yeah. Eight. Yeah. real closer to the edge of the
[1:27:47] slope. Three. Well, yeah. One day it was on the  front middle below. Hit a putt that went past the
[1:27:54] hole, started trickling and ended up past where  I started from 6 ft away. It's a little much.
[1:28:04] Okay, I think that's all we have unless  somebody has any other items that they
[1:28:09] would like to chat about in. [clears throat] So,  third Monday every month unless four o'clock. So,
[1:28:21] that is correct. And we uh I don't know,  Derek, did you send out new invites for the
[1:28:26] rest of the year? Okay. Did you post the ones  from the previous meetings yet on YouTube? All
[1:28:34] right. [clears throat] I haven't chatted in  a few days. Oh, there's going to be up. Yeah.
[1:28:43] One other thing. Did we ever get the no fishing  signs been put up out around here? Darren has
[1:28:49] them. He's they're down at the shop right  now. He's He was going to use like a Tost
[1:28:56] and kind of like do something a little more  permanent. They're going to get knocked down,
[1:29:00] whatever. So, he's going to concrete, put get a  post. He's got them down there. So, he's going
[1:29:03] to put them in the ground where they're going to  be more permanent. I just I think I just see it
[1:29:09] so much more just because of where I live all the  time. I'm just like now on the on the far banks
[1:29:18] like on the common side or we're going all is a  liability thing, right? Now where's that line? I
[1:29:24] can go to you know what I mean? It just opens the  door. So try caught a duck hook and chest before
[1:29:29] happening. Apparently not one of those once if you  live. Yeah. If they read their covenants when they
[1:29:38] buy these homes, it specifically states in there  that you cannot fish on golf course ponds, right?
[1:29:45] You can get in the common areas that you can fish  at. We can figure out what happened up at what
[1:29:54] was the name of the place they had all the fish  kill. It it was just it when you get a big rain
[1:30:00] like that. I'm just Yeah, we can figure that out  and take care of this. Kill all the fish. I just
[1:30:06] want to see what comes out of 16 in text. Man,  that thing's been that color for 50 years. Yeah,
[1:30:12] it's going to happen. There's going to be somebody  coming out with extra eyes coming one day. There's
[1:30:18] creatures in that thing, man. That happened  here last year, the news and everybody, but
[1:30:24] we had someone from uh fishing wildlife, whatever  they came out. It's just they get a big rain and
[1:30:31] it basically stirs that trash on the box and they  suddenly out here. We had it close to our house.
[1:30:39] Yeah. We have our backyard and everyone just  screaming just oxygen and just most disgusting.
[1:30:50] Oh my disgusting trouble. Get him a  plan for your Yeah. Yeah, guys trying
[1:31:00] to get them. It's gross. It's bad. Yeah, that  first number 10 D was unbearable for two days.
[1:31:15] No, just just want to welcome new  members. No, just want to have
[1:31:18] opportunity as [clears throat] well coming  on board. Thank you guys for Very good. Well,
[1:31:24] since I am the new one, would you guys mind going  around the room and tell me [clears throat] who
[1:31:29] you are and uh what is your role here maybe?  Or how long you've been on the board and what?
[1:31:37] I am the staff liaison. Pardon me. The  staff liaison. Very good. So, you know,
[1:31:43] I'm in charge of making sure everything is all  day all memberships, all the backend stuff. So,
[1:31:51] very good. It's nice to meet you. This is my  first as a as a I was the leazison from the
[1:31:58] park board and Oh, cool. And I guess I'm would be  retail. Yep. Yeah. So, the board representative
[1:32:08] from each course and then an aronomy specialist  or some some background position. Um he's the
[1:32:14] FNB food and beverage and and retail specialist.  And then Evan who is on his honeymoon, not here.
[1:32:20] He's our financial specialist. Yeah. He sent me  a text and I said, "Are you just letting me know
[1:32:26] you're cancelled it?" And he just never responded.  So, um, my name's Jesse. I represent texts. Oh,
[1:32:35] very good. So, that's [clears throat] And  I go for text all the time. And And you
[1:32:41] ate those bag placements. [laughter] Dirty. It  was a dirty town. Like, good lord. What is it?
[1:32:49] makes you shake your head like yeah. Nice to  meet you. Welcome. Thank you, sir. Jeremy's
[1:32:55] here just tonight because we were talking about  Sammy the superintendent at very nice meeting.
[1:33:04] I represent dogs. That's right. Okay.  I'm Randy and I represent you had the
[1:33:15] cash on number six. Yeah, it was a lot of fun. It  works. Yeah. Good. Good. Anyway, I represent Sam.
[1:33:25] I'm Trevor Trio. I'm the food and  beverage and marketing supervisor. Um,
[1:33:29] I also do whatever else needs to be done.  I be there the stuff with the computer. I
[1:33:35] answer the emails from the customer  service side of things. Sometimes
[1:33:38] help sitting out on the front. Whatever  else you ask me do. I've never seen it,
[1:33:43] but I know he customs a lot. The emails pop up.  Really? [laughter] What is your favorite word?
[1:33:51] Thanks, sir. Thank you, dude. It's  good to meet you guys. And Marca,
[1:33:58] how's your back now? I'm  golfing. I'm not golfing well,
[1:34:04] but I'm not golfing. And I can blame it  on the shoulder. So, there you go. Yeah,
[1:34:19] I just want to make sure I have these down.  My brother just had open heart surgery.
[1:34:29] Amy [clears throat] was a little spend.
