[13:27] opportunity for potential reimbursement but not guaranteed so I would support

[17:21] obviously the situation has changed since last Friday as of this afternoon

[17:27] Vermont is up to 75 cases confirmed cases we now have five deaths as well

[17:39] the Health Department has been sending out supplies to first responders and

[17:47] hospitals and other medical professionals but they until they

[17:52] receive more supplies from the federal government they will unfortunately be

[17:57] doing any more of that there are five in Windham County but we don't know where

[18:08] in Windham County they cannot disclose that because of privacy reasons so for

[18:16] those who don't know all non-essential medical procedures

[18:19] have been cancelled the DMV has been closed all car registration renewals and

[18:26] drivers ice renewals have been extended by a minimum

[18:29] of 90 days the governor has also now reduced all public gatherings to no more

[18:37] than ten people the as far as a law enforcement perspective the state is

[18:44] really expecting that we're going to see 99% compliance with with the governor's

[18:50] orders and thus far it's overall been very peaceful and compliance throughout

[18:55] the state so that's really excellent as mentioned a few moments ago FEMA has

[19:02] declared a state of emergency for all 50 states so that means that they are going

[19:08] to slowly begin the process of setting up the parameters for what we can

[19:13] request for reimbursement and so as we learn what that is I'll be tracking that

[19:19] and have been keeping the detailed track of our expenses thus far one thing that

[19:29] the state did encourage towns to do is to review any mutual aid agreements that

[19:35] we have so in our circumstance that would be our highway department

[19:41] reviewing mutual aid agreements with our neighboring towns and I've already been

[19:47] speaking with Danny about this and at the moment the lct has notified us that

[19:55] they are still trying to negotiate with the state legislature and secretary of

[20:00] state to change temporarily change open meeting law and have made no headway on

[20:07] us so unfortunately for the time being we must continue to abide by open

[20:13] meeting law as it stands currently and there's lots and lots last but not least

[20:20] is there's lots and lots of false rumors going on about you know everything from

[20:28] national quarantine to martial law to the military enforcement all of these

[20:33] are absolutely false

[20:37] and yeah so just be conscious of where you're getting your news from and

[20:41] remember to keep watching your hands oh one last point of note is the state EEOC

[20:49] or Emergency Operations Center is now as of last Thursday been fully activated

[20:55] albeit with limited staff they have approximately ten staff working out of

[21:01] 80 and they do not recommend towns activate you see at this time it's they

[21:08] do not feel that we have a level of emergency in Vermont yet that that is

[21:13] warranted on a local level that's all I have yes yep so I have sent out a draft

[21:39] of the updated local emergency management plan to all of the select

[21:45] board members the fire chief as well as to Windham regional thus far I've gotten

[21:53] some it's overall very positive feedback I've gotten a couple amendments from

[22:00] Jared and I got about five changes that need to be made from Windham regional

[22:06] but overall it's a positive response and I think we should be able to adopt it at

[22:12] the next select board meeting

[22:34] no that should still sub for the 10 administrator and the EMD it should

[22:43] still remain at $5,000 unless the Select board wishes to change that and then for

[22:48] the road Foreman it's at $10,000 you are correct yes Richard III at this time I

[23:36] don't see any reason to change it and in feedback from Windham Regional is that's

[23:41] a reasonable amount for you know a town like us I can work on getting it
