[9:58] You know, residents of Heyersville don't want these transport trucks parking anywhere along Main Street North to run in and get their coffee.

[10:08] In fact, there's a provincial regulation that prohibits them from parking within so many feet of any intersection on on the highway.

[10:16] He's on a provincial highway running through one of our urban areas.

[10:22] While he respects his opinion, though, he has to remember that we've given up a lot of parking in Hayersville at the main intersection to ensure that these transport trucks are able to navigate their way through the downtown core.

[10:36] We gave up significant parking spaces rated our main intersection.

[10:41] The other thing we have to remember here is that there used to be a GM Pontiac GM dealership on this site that that used on street parking.

[10:54] The churches across the street use on street parking. The residents use on street parking and some place just a few doors down uses on street parking.

[11:11] and haggers though that you can't take advantage of on street parking on the main street and

[12:57] So what we need to do is have a look at potentially offsetting some of those lands that are going

[13:03] to have a long-term restriction imposed upon them. So what that means is we'll be looking at other

[13:10] options to potentially add lands to the Hager's urban area.

[13:16] So certainly this letter will be taken into consideration.

[13:19] But we'll also have a good hard look at other submissions that we've received.

[13:24] In an effort to make sure that whatever we come back to council with makes the most sense from a servicing standpoint,

[13:31] limited impact agricultural land standpoint, etc.

[13:34] So I guess the upshot of it is, you know, we'll be having a look at this in connection with.

[13:41] again with the the first submission and some of the other submissions we've received and ultimately we'll be looking back with with council and final recommendations for Haggar'sville and also will be engaging with with KLM on this.

[25:05] with all the the rooms and so forth that maybe needed as well to circumvent and to help all this.

[25:26] The you're tackling it with regard to the allocation of the ice time with one ice surface disappearing and then we have three to accommodate the four communities, especially Hugo with having to have their youth groups move over.

[25:49] we know that youth groups are obviously getting priority whether it's minor

[25:53] hockey, ringette, figure skating, and then junior hockey if they do so choose to

[26:52] on what I use the minor sports groups ultimately

[26:56] end up accepting or taking. So, you know, the minor sports groups, of course, are minor hockey,

[27:00] or girls hockey, ring at and figure skating. If they accept all of their hours and those have

[27:07] been laid out and circulated in a draft schedule as of this afternoon, it would leave very little

[27:14] ice time open. We know that the majority of groups are committed to starting up their seasons again,

[27:24] So we anticipate that there's going to be very little ice time left open if anything.

[27:30] And until we know what hours we have open, it's really difficult at this stage to know how best to distribute it.

[27:37] So we've communicated that to our adult groups and what we've message to them is we'll have all of this figured out and a better answer for them by February 22nd.

[27:48] Right now, the effort of the team is going into the ICE reallocation process, if you will, and at the end of the day, if there is any time left, any hours of ice remaining.

[28:01] We need to come together as a group and determine what is the most fair and equitable approach to, to doing that and whether some of the things that you had outline counselor come into the mix, that's something we have to determine yet.

[28:13] I guess just to add on to that a little bit of, I guess, a public service announcement here, I did want to note that contrary to some of the information that we we communicated out on Friday, we will be able to accommodate public streets at each of the three arenas that are going to be opening.

[28:32] Caledonia, Daniel Hager still. More details on that schedule are going to come out in the days ahead, but we expect it to be similar to that, which was in place part of the lockdown.

[28:42] So what we're trying to do is balance as many interests as possible through this process.

[28:47] But on the main question, Councillor Lawrence, to the rest of council, we'll have some more definitive information to pass along in the days ahead.

[32:34] the coaches to find out how many players were going to be returning. Some teams might be combined,

[32:41] so instead of, say, two ban on teams or maybe just one and so on throughout the organization. But

[32:50] time will tell I didn't have any numbers as far as yesterday at that but I'd like to

[32:57] say thank you again to Jason Gallagher for pulling this all together and like I

[33:03] said short-term pain for long-term gain let's beat this pandemic and to get
