We've called a special called meeting this August 26 on

a Wednesday evening and the first order of BISSIS would
[1:03]
be an invocation prepared by Mr. Matt Robinson, please, sir.
[1:10]
Gracious God, you've called upon us to love and serve
[1:13]
our neighbors and have entrusted us with the responsibilities for
[1:15]
the good of our community. Give us in the words
[1:18]
of Martin Luther wisdom strength and success that we may
[1:22]
govern well. Grant us wisdom to know what is right.
[1:25]
Humility to listen to one another. Courage to make difficult
[1:29]
decisions and compassion for every person affected by those decisions
[1:33]
Bless our teachers, administrators, staff and families, above all, watch
[1:38]
over the children and young people entrusted to our care.
[1:40]
When we disagree, help us to do so with respect
[1:43]
when the way forward is unclear help us to seek
[1:46]
understanding and in every decision we make keep before us
[1:49]
the good of our students and the well - being
[1:51]
of our whole community May the work we do here
[1:54]
be an expression of love for our neighbors and faithful
[1:56]
service to others Amen. Thanks Mr. Robinson next we need

Mr. Chairman, I'd like to be noted that we made

no decisions and no votes were taken during our executive

June 8th, 2026, the board approved the purchase request submitted
[7:01]
by the Academy of Hope Charter School for the declared
[7:04]
surplus property known as the former Conway Education Center located
[7:08]
on Sherwood Drive and Conway at a purchase price of
[7:11]
1, 650, 000 dollars, Inspection period, and time has expired
[7:21]
as of August 24, 2026, the Academy of Hope Charter
[7:26]
School has requested an extension of the closing date on
[7:29]
the sale through September the 11th, 2026. I recommend that
[7:35]
the board approve the Academy of Hope charter school's request
[7:38]
to extend the closing date on the sale of the
[7:41]
Sherwood Drive Property through September the 11th, 2020 - 26.
[7:46]
Hoard members, I move that we accept the recommendation from
[7:49]
superintendent Jones. Hi second. Okay, we're going to vote by
