[0:00] ing of the village of Leonard Zoho Board
[0:02] of Appeal is to order. Let's stand for
[0:04] the pledge of allegiance.
[0:07] I pledge allegiance to the flag of the
[0:10] United States of America and to the
[0:12] republic for which it stands, one nation
[0:16] under God, indivisible, with liberty and
[0:19] justice for all.
[0:23] Would you like to be Mr.
[0:28] President Mr. here.
[0:31] Swack here.
[0:33] Zel here.
[0:36] All present.
[0:37] Okay. Um, so we have the agenda before
[0:41] us. Would anybody like to make a motion
[0:43] to approve tonight's agenda?
[0:47] I'll approve.
[0:48] Okay. And a second.
[0:51] I'll second.
[0:53] All in favor? I
[0:58] Okay, so before we get into the the
[1:02] nitty-gritty of the meeting, um we just
[1:04] have some procedural items that our
[1:07] secretary, Jennifer Swag, is going to
[1:09] read aloud.
[1:11] If you need to go over this again, we
[1:12] have to read for work through. Welcome
[1:16] to the Village of Leonard Zoning Board
[1:17] of Appeals meeting. Please listen to the
[1:19] rules and procedures for the public
[1:21] hearing. There are two rules that may
[1:23] affect our ability to proceed tonight.
[1:26] First, in the public, if a public notice
[1:29] was not posted 15 days prior to this
[1:31] meeting, we cannot hold the hearing
[1:33] tonight. We will confirm that was done.
[1:35] All right.
[1:35] Second, we must have four board members
[1:38] present to proceed. 1, two, three, and
[1:40] four. When your matter is called, please
[1:42] stand and give your name and address.
[1:44] The chairperson will then swear you in
[1:47] and read the record of information we
[1:49] have and read the record of information
[1:51] we have for your application. input from
[1:53] various authorities and any
[1:55] correspondence received on your
[1:56] application. The chairperson will then
[1:59] ask you to make your presentation to the
[2:01] board. After you have made your
[2:02] presentation, the board will ask
[2:04] questions they deem appropriate and then
[2:06] we'll ask for comments from the public.
[2:09] If you wish to speak for or against an
[2:12] application, we ask that you wait until
[2:14] you're acknowledged. Stand up. Give us
[2:16] your name and address. Tell us where
[2:18] your property is in relation to the
[2:19] property that is in question. And then
[2:21] please direct your comments to the
[2:23] board, not the applicant. We must keep a record and we cannot do that if
[2:29] people are talking over each other or
[2:30] cross conversations. If you have
[2:32] anything additional to say, please don't
[2:34] hesitate to do so. But keep in mind that
[2:36] you'll be given only one opportunity to
[2:38] speak. After the public has spoken, the
[2:41] board may ask the applicant to answer
[2:43] questions that may have come up as a
[2:45] result of the public comment or for the
[2:48] applicant to summarize. When the
[2:50] applicant is asked to answer any
[2:51] questions, if that happens, it does not
[2:54] start a second round of public comments.
[2:57] Once the matter has been heard, various
[2:59] things may occur. The board may decide
[3:02] on the application immediately or it may
[3:05] reserve decision. Reserving decision
[3:07] does not mean that the matter is
[3:09] approved or denied. It just means that
[3:11] the board needs to needs more time to
[3:13] decide. They may want to go out look at
[3:15] the site or may want to review the
[3:17] documents further before deciding. In
[3:20] either event, the applicant will receive
[3:22] the board's decision in writing in
[3:24] writing shortly after a decision is
[3:26] made. If the application is approved,
[3:29] that does not mean go ahead and start
[3:31] construction. A building permit would
[3:33] need to be obtained. Jerus will take it.
[3:37] Thank you. All right. So before us we
[3:40] have Jennifer Arendale. Um she has
[3:42] applied for dimensional variance for
[3:44] 4571
[3:46] Rosie Drive. Jennifer, could you please
[3:48] stand?
[3:51] Hello everyone.
[3:52] Hi. Do you affirm to tell the truth?
[3:55] Yes.
[3:56] Go ahead. Um and just one more little
[3:59] thing is just just all for recordeping.
[4:02] Would you just state your name for us
[4:04] again and your address?
[4:05] Jenniferale
[4:07] address is 45715
[4:10] uh Leonard Michigan which is in letter.
[4:13] Okay. What would you like to tell us
[4:15] about your application?
[4:16] So regarding my application, we'd like
[4:18] to put in a
[4:21] garage which would be the size of a
[4:23] threecar garage um a 30 by 40. By doing
[4:27] so, if you look at the information I
[4:29] sent, there's pictures and I have a row
[4:33] of pine trees. Those pine trees are
[4:35] about
[4:37] almost say
[4:41] 30 ft in front of the house, but hard to
[4:44] tell because of the way the elevation of
[4:46] the house is. So, my house is here, but
[4:50] then it I have my driveway and then it
[4:51] slopes down and then I have a row of
[4:54] trees. Right behind that row of trees,
[4:57] the previous owner put in like a pad
[5:00] like to park a car in. Um, and I'd like
[5:03] to put the garage right there, allowing
[5:08] me to be only 22 ft in front of my
[5:12] garage in my house. Right. So, here's my
[5:15] house. So, right here. So, you'd be it'd
[5:17] be very difficult to see the the
[5:19] difference from the road, but by doing
[5:21] this, it allows my property to continue
[5:24] the drainage to the back, which is all
[5:27] swamp land. So, it doesn't hurt the
[5:30] drainage there. Also, due the due to the
[5:33] aesthetics of Leonard Estates,
[5:36] um it allows me to turn the garage so my
[5:40] garage doors don't face the road. They
[5:43] actually face my house, which is the way
[5:46] that
[5:48] all but one house is like that in my sub
[5:51] is that all of the garages are turned so
[5:54] you don't see them from the road. So
[5:56] like you don't see the opening of the
[5:58] doors from the road to make it a clean
[6:01] um
[6:03] look throughout the neighborhood. So
[6:06] that's what I'm asking for is just that
[6:09] little bit of furniture so I can put in
[6:11] the garage there allowing a for my
[6:14] property to drain correctly and two to
[6:17] keep the aesthetic of my
[6:21] uh subdivision.
[6:24] I've already gone out to the subdivision
[6:26] to the people. I've posted it on our we
[6:29] have a letter estates Facebook page.
[6:31] I've posted it there. Nobody. Everyone
[6:34] has given me thumbs up hoping that we
[6:36] get it because again they don't want the
[6:39] garage doors facing the road. Even if I
[6:42] placed it somewhere else on the
[6:44] property,
[6:45] a there' be a there' be an issue in the
[6:49] back because again my garage doors have
[6:51] to face the road and nobody in my sub
[6:54] would want that because again you're
[6:56] looking for aesthetics
[6:58] um in the type of sub that Liverstates
[7:00] is. Um,
[7:03] so I've also gone to and made sure that
[7:07] all of my neighbors know within the 300
[7:10] ft of my subdivision and none of them
[7:13] have an issue with the servants at all.
[7:16] They're all hoping that I get it. Um,
[7:19] and I just got a documentation pin on
[7:22] that as well. Um, again, we're trying to
[7:25] build it so it matches the aesthetic,
[7:27] the architecture style of our house. um
[7:30] there as well. So again, that it blends
[7:33] in architecturally and with the way that
[7:36] the neighborhood is.
[7:41] Okay. Um we have any questions?
[7:44] You know, at this point, what I need to
[7:46] do is see if any citizens
[7:49] um have any comment and then what we'll
[7:50] do is we'll kind of like move on from
[7:52] there to ask some questions after that.
[7:55] So this is kind of like our first round.
[7:56] So, um, is there anyone in the audience
[7:59] that would like to make comments or
[8:01] questions, um, for Jennifer or for
[8:03] ourselves on this zoning variance?
[8:08] Okay, I'll take that as a no. So, um,
[8:12] what we can do now is as, um, zoning
[8:15] boarded appeals members, um, we can
[8:19] direct our comments to Jennifer that we
[8:20] might have regarding, um, her
[8:22] presentation on zoning varants.
[8:30] Um, so I um are you the original owner?
[8:35] Did you build the home or was it already
[8:38] existing?
[8:39] No, it was already existing.
[8:40] It was existed.
[8:43] And was it just the home itself or was
[8:45] it and were there any outuildings or any
[8:47] accessory buildings?
[8:48] No, it was just the home.
[8:50] Okay. Is the the garage that you're
[8:53] looking to build, is anybody in any way
[8:55] going to live in that unit?
[8:59] No.
[8:59] Okay. So, it won't be habitable. And are
[9:01] there any commercial activities that
[9:02] would be happening in there?
[9:07] Um,
[9:10] are there other alternatives? I noticed
[9:13] on your diagram that you do have option
[9:16] two.
[9:17] Yes, option two. If I put it all the way
[9:19] back there, that means I also have to
[9:21] put in another driveway um on my
[9:23] property. By doing that, that's that's
[9:28] not going to, if you want to say, more
[9:30] of a hardship due to the fact that now
[9:33] it's another driveway that has to go
[9:34] onto the property. And again, you're
[9:37] looking at the aesthetics of the
[9:40] neighborhood. Um, and they're probably
[9:43] not going to want me to run a driveway
[9:46] straight all the way back on one side.
[9:48] It would also I'd have to be careful
[9:50] because I do have a well there. Um,
[9:53] which would cause me issues as well
[9:55] trying to get around that.
[9:57] Yeah, I know. I noticed that uh on your diagram you did get us a well,
[10:03] right? You didn't show us where your
[10:04] well is located.
[10:06] Actually, is it is it up front? It's not
[10:08] way up front, is it? No, on the front is
[10:11] my septic field is the front of the
[10:13] house is a septic field and then on the
[10:15] side of the house to the south side is
[10:18] my well.
[10:21] So then I I planted an orchard
[10:25] um on the side which you can't really
[10:27] see with the diagram but there's an
[10:29] orchard there. And so I would have to
[10:31] remove those and try and get around to
[10:33] get into the back.
[10:41] So, currently in Leonard Estates,
[10:45] um, I know that there's,
[10:48] for lack of a better word, I don't want
[10:50] to use the word defunct because I I
[10:52] can't think of what how to say it, but
[10:54] the HOA guidelines that you currently
[10:58] have, they're not enforceable, right?
[11:00] Correct. They are not.
[11:01] Okay. So, cuz I know that there's a
[11:03] white house in there. There's somebody
[11:04] else whose garage is facing another
[11:07] direction.
[11:08] That's the White House,
[11:09] right? Right. Okay.
[11:12] Yeah. All All
[11:13] It all comes down to that white house.
[11:16] So, I guess what I'm trying to I'm
[11:18] trying to do is not be that white house
[11:21] because I'm trying to appease a lot of
[11:23] neighbors by making sure I can get that
[11:27] garage doors turned. Um, so again, it's
[11:31] going with the flow and the aesthetics
[11:34] of everything in Leonard estates because
[11:38] even if I put it towards the back in
[11:40] that B location, the only way I can do
[11:42] that is with those doors facing the
[11:45] road.
[11:46] Right. Right.
[11:46] So, um, and then I still have to put in
[11:49] another driveway. Mhm.
[11:52] Um,
[11:54] so that's why when they built the house,
[11:56] they put it in that pad already there.
[11:59] So it was like that they were going to
[12:01] like like that was their idea is to
[12:03] build there anyways. Um, the nice thing
[12:06] is is that this would be behind my my
[12:08] pine trees. So you really you're not
[12:12] really going to see it much. Do you know
[12:14] what I mean? You're not going to see the
[12:15] variance. You're not going to see the
[12:17] different depths. Um, it's going to be
[12:20] very,
[12:21] per se from the road, it's going to be
[12:24] very difficult to tell.
[12:27] Pine trees are how tall?
[12:29] are they pine trees?
[12:31] 40 ft.
[12:32] They've been like they're the original
[12:34] pine trees of the property. So, they're
[12:36] huge.
[12:40] Any
[12:44] other planning commissioners have any
[12:46] other questions that they might want you
[12:48] to ask at this time?
[12:52] Um, why did you go with the dimensions
[12:54] of 30x40?
[12:56] That's a unusually large garage for two
[13:00] cars.
[13:01] I would need a threecar garage. I have,
[13:04] if you come to my house, which you're
[13:06] more than welcome, I have a lot of
[13:08] four-wheelers and a lot of motorcycles,
[13:11] dirt bikes.
[13:11] Okay.
[13:12] So, my kids race.
[13:14] Yeah.
[13:14] So, I need a place, what I'm trying to
[13:16] do is give them a place that they can
[13:18] work on everything and keep it there
[13:21] versus having a trailer or something
[13:24] else trying to work out of. That's just
[13:26] not feasible.
[13:28] And there's no way of moving it back to
[13:31] the 20 foot so that you're at the same
[13:32] level uh off of
[13:35] because if my driveway like when you
[13:38] come out my driveway at my house here's
[13:40] my driveway it drops like it's like a
[13:42] sledding hill so it drops and then it
[13:45] drains out to the back.
[13:47] Yeah. So, by doing that, I've got to
[13:49] start bringing in a ton of dirt, which
[13:50] now I'm starting to change the drainage
[13:53] of the property. And I'm worried about
[13:55] that because the pond, which is not
[13:57] mine, in the back of the property,
[14:00] right? Everything drains out.
[14:03] Yep.
[14:05] I can see there's quite a quite a drop
[14:07] off that goes from the front to the
[14:10] back.
[14:10] It is. So, when I've I've had three
[14:13] different like builders come out and
[14:14] talk to me and they're like, "Well, if
[14:16] you do this and move it forward and put
[14:18] it here, it'll cause less of the
[14:21] drainage issues." And I'm like, "Okay,
[14:24] so that is why I'm here now."
[14:26] Okay.
[14:35] So if um I just want to give and the
[14:37] other zoning board members an
[14:40] opportunity to ask any more questions.
[14:42] Okay. So um Jennifer, what I'm going to
[14:44] do at this time just because this is not
[14:45] like a regular thing that we do, I don't
[14:47] want to share with you in the audience
[14:50] what our criteria is for making
[14:52] decisions. Um so we as a zoning board
[14:55] are kind of held to a criteria of three
[14:58] standards. And um as far as the the law
[15:05] goes, what we need to do is either in
[15:09] your presentation that you made to us is
[15:11] you need to prove that all three of
[15:14] those standards are something um that
[15:19] you meet our criteria and we could say
[15:22] yes. If you don't meet one of those
[15:25] criterias, then we're kind of guided as
[15:28] a board to
[15:30] uh decide not to approve the variance.
[15:34] So, um the variances are, you know, um
[15:39] they run with the property and with all
[15:42] future owners. So, what we're going to
[15:44] looking at is Oh, I just made a couple
[15:47] little notes. So, I just want to
[15:52] Item number two
[15:56] that the practical difficulties or both
[15:59] which will result from failure to grant
[16:01] the variance include substantially more
[16:03] than one inconvenience inability to
[16:06] attain higher financial return or both.
[16:08] So basically what they're saying is there another way that it can be done
[16:15] because is it just is it a mandatory
[16:17] thing like if if your house let's say
[16:19] didn't have running water and you said
[16:23] this is not an inconvenience this is
[16:25] something that we need to live and then
[16:28] that's something that we could adjust
[16:30] and change but when it's something
[16:32] that's just a matter of inconvenience
[16:36] because you have more toys, for lack of
[16:39] a better word, then it creates um a
[16:42] situation where we're as a board not
[16:46] supposed to just say, well, as much as
[16:49] what you say makes sense, you know, and
[16:51] it's logical, but we have to follow
[16:54] these standards and we have to meet them
[16:57] in order to make a judgment on this. um
[17:00] because there is an alternate location
[17:03] that you can use to build your accessory
[17:06] building without variance, we wouldn't
[17:09] really be able to go ahead as a board
[17:12] and vote on that. Now, all the all the
[17:14] members, you know, get a vote, but just
[17:17] as far as basic standards that were held
[17:20] to make a ruling, that's kind of how we
[17:25] have to go.
[17:27] So, um,
[17:29] can I ask a question? What about like
[17:31] the other houses? I'll use Porter Lane.
[17:34] They have their garage in front of their
[17:36] house.
[17:37] Mhm.
[17:37] So, that was built or the house down the
[17:40] street was their house. Their garage is
[17:43] built in front of their house instead in
[17:45] the back of their house. It's the green
[17:48] house. Um, I'm just questioning those.
[17:52] Sure.
[17:52] And now I understand times can change.
[17:56] But again, I'm sure that there's
[17:58] alternate locations that those could go.
[18:02] What happened in the past with prior
[18:04] administrations or however long ago that
[18:06] was, you know, I can't speak to, you
[18:09] know, they're ordinance violations. They
[18:10] shouldn't have happened, but they did.
[18:13] But I think what we're trying to do is
[18:15] to set a standard and say, you know,
[18:19] these are what's set forth for a reason
[18:22] for the basic overall overall well-being
[18:25] of the community. And that's kind of
[18:28] what we need to look to and it is
[18:30] upsetting when you see things like that.
[18:32] Um, and know that you're trying to do
[18:34] all the things the right way and you
[18:38] know it becomes difficult. So I
[18:40] definitely empathize with it for sure.
[18:43] Okay.
[18:44] But it's just that one of the reasons I
[18:46] did this too was a again because of the
[18:48] drainage of the property. So I don't
[18:53] like hurt that but also due the fact
[18:56] that
[18:58] because of our homes and and lates on
[19:03] how they wanted a certain look per se in
[19:08] our south which we bring in a lot of tax
[19:11] revenue for the village.
[19:13] Sure. So, I'm trying to keep
[19:17] that aesthetics going so that way it
[19:20] doesn't
[19:22] diminish anything
[19:25] within the neighborhood. And again, all
[19:29] of Winter Estates knows that we're
[19:30] trying to build this and they've all
[19:33] been very very positive with it.
[19:35] Right. Right. and and once again us as a
[19:39] board um you know it's it's difficult to
[19:43] make these decisions because you know
[19:45] you do have support of your neighbors
[19:47] but we're not supposed to look at when
[19:50] we make these decisions things like that
[19:53] we're supposed to look at
[19:55] does this meet these standards
[19:58] if it doesn't we can't grant the
[20:02] variance and so that's kind of the
[20:04] position that we're
[20:07] So, okay. So, right now you're telling
[20:09] me you can't grant me this variance.
[20:12] Correct.
[20:13] I would need a motion. Obviously,
[20:15] I I have a question. Well, then why
[20:17] would you go out to my neighbors and ask
[20:19] them if they had issues?
[20:21] Because it's the law. I had to.
[20:24] Okay. They've all approved it and said
[20:26] yes. They would rather have that versus
[20:29] my graduates facing the road, which I
[20:31] totally get. No one wants to see that,
[20:33] right? in the neighborhood.
[20:35] Right. Right. I realize it's a it's a
[20:39] difficulty, you know. I do.
[20:46] Okay.
[20:47] So, at this point, um, where we're
[20:51] at is I'm wondering if we have any board
[20:55] members that would like to make a
[20:56] motion.
[21:01] If no one does, I can make a motion. and
[21:03] you can decide to vote to or for or
[21:06] against. Um I'll make a motion to deny
[21:10] the request for the front yard variance.
[21:13] Um excuse me. Yes, it's not the front
[21:16] yard. It's actually the side yard,
[21:19] right? But
[21:19] you just said front yard.
[21:21] Well, the line of where your home
[21:24] started your house is set back. is
[21:26] actually 22 ft in front of the sideyard
[21:31] varants from my house. So you're talking
[21:34] like me to you like and it's not much
[21:37] but again it's due to like the drainage
[21:39] of the property. It's still called the
[21:41] front yard only because the line that
[21:43] runs from your front like your front
[21:45] door across straight across anything
[21:49] from there to the road is considered
[21:52] front yard. So, your variance actually
[21:54] the way it's listed is asking for a
[21:57] front yard, not a sideyard.
[22:00] So, um, does that track?
[22:02] Okay. Okay.
[22:04] So, um, I make a motion to deny the
[22:08] request for the front yard variance
[22:10] section 4.1
[22:13] 4.17A
[22:15] by Mrs. for the catch site building on
[22:19] 4571 Rosie Drive because it does not
[22:22] meet standard 2 in section 24.06A.
[22:26] Further, this denial is due to these
[22:28] findings of the fact that there is an
[22:30] alternate location where the homeowner
[22:32] can build the accessory building without
[22:35] a variance.
[22:37] Um,
[22:41] I would like to ask
[22:44] a second on that motion.
[22:48] I'll second the motion.
[22:54] Um, can I do a roll call vote on that?
[22:58] Alani or call on that because I'm
[23:01] stepping back into my old pardon me.
[23:05] Uh, no.
[23:07] I'm sorry.
[23:09] No.
[23:13] Is did you say no to agree with the
[23:16] denial
[23:18] or to not agree with the denial?
[23:22] Uh I did two
[23:23] to to agree with the
[23:31] right. Agree with the the denial.
[23:42] and swag. I am going to ask you to
[23:45] disagree with the denial.
[23:48] Lori,
[23:48] agree with the
[23:51] we have one, two, three, four agrees and
[23:54] one disagree for the record.
[24:00] Okay, so the motion passes. Thank you.
[24:06] If there is no further business to come
[24:09] before the Yes.
[24:13] plan information.
[24:15] Um yeah, we had a zoning board of
[24:17] appeals meeting today for a variance
[24:19] request.
[24:22] So when planning commission
[24:25] um next month, I think, right?
[24:27] Yes.
[24:28] Well, possibly next month.
[24:31] Yes. If if there's business in front of
[24:33] the planning commission, then I would be
[24:35] if we have business, we'll meet in
[24:36] October. If not, we will push forward.
[24:41] Do you have another date?
[24:44] Yeah.
[24:48] Okay. Do you um would you like to make a
[24:51] request to be put on the agenda for the
[24:53] next meeting, the next time the planning
[24:55] commission meets?
[24:57] Okay. So, you're going to be also you I
[24:59] know that you came to a village council
[25:01] meeting and you asked to be put on the
[25:03] agenda for the village council. Do you
[25:04] want to stay on that one, too?
[25:07] Um,
[25:10] yeah, I've got two different things
[25:11] going. So, yeah.
[25:13] Okay. Okay.
[25:15] I I think I think the regular meeting I
[25:20] got to deal with this building over
[25:21] here. There's so much screwed up in the
[25:24] past. I don't even know how to fix it.
[25:28] just it's overwhelming.
[25:30] Okay.
[25:31] Um
[25:33] things went on that shouldn't have
[25:40] it was our home village.
[25:44] It's our home village.
[25:48] Um
[25:51] I understand
[25:52] it sits there.
[25:53] Yeah. They were the ones that created
[25:55] the situation.
[25:58] We We lost
[26:01] an enormous amount of property that I
[26:04] could use for a septic. The fire
[26:07] department could use it. This building
[26:09] could use it and that building could use
[26:12] it. from 18 sub 189
[26:17] on
[26:19] uh someplace
[26:21] in that time frame of maybe 1950
[26:24] something went on where all of a sudden
[26:26] that property went away
[26:29] and and I'm I'm gathering that and we're
[26:32] going way back there was a sawmill over
[26:34] here correct
[26:36] over there in the 1800s
[26:40] and they had to bring the logs in from
[26:42] the west. So they decided to cut through
[26:46] where the alley is. Pretty soon
[26:50] it ended up being village property and
[26:56] 40 ft on the north of the alley
[26:59] disappeared into what is now
[27:03] Janet's property. I think we need to get
[27:06] that property back where it goes so we
[27:08] can have a septic field in these four
[27:10] buildings or we should just tear them
[27:12] down. That's that's the way I feel.
[27:16] Okay.
[27:16] It's going to involve lawyers
[27:19] because it is a touchy situation.
[27:22] I've got somebody you can talk to about
[27:25] this. It's it's our health department
[27:28] rep for this area. He could tell you the
[27:31] whole story on this. I don't even know
[27:33] if he knows the stuff in the 1800s, but
[27:37] he he he discovered things here that
[27:40] shouldn't have been in the attic, but
[27:41] they are. And there happened to be on my
[27:45] particular property.
[27:49] They put a catch basin in right behind
[27:52] the firewall
[27:54] that never caught any water.
[27:57] The water could never get to it.
[28:01] And it turned out it wasn't for catching
[28:03] water. It was for getting rid of sewage.
[28:07] I don't even want to say it, but
[28:10] that's what they just got.
[28:12] Okay. So,
[28:14] we need to fix this.
[28:15] Okay. So, you are going to bring are you
[28:18] going to bring a proposal to the next
[28:22] planning commission meeting? like
[28:23] something I just want to be certain if
[28:26] we ask the planning commissioners to
[28:28] meet because sometimes we'll only meet
[28:31] four times a year if we don't have
[28:33] something on there. If you are coming to
[28:35] spitball or are you kind we could
[28:38] probably just sit down outside of this
[28:40] and and maybe have a one-on-one, you
[28:43] know, where a couple people could just
[28:44] sit down and meet with you where we
[28:46] wouldn't need to bring the whole
[28:48] planning commission together. So, or are
[28:50] you planning on bringing like a proposal
[28:54] I don't even know what to say about it
[28:56] because it's it's really weird.
[28:58] Okay. All right. It sounds
[29:00] we need to brainstorm and figure out how
[29:02] to solve this. We can't use this
[29:04] building cuz it doesn't have a septic
[29:05] field. Septic field never has.
[29:09] Fireball never had one. This one never
[29:12] had one. My building does have one, but
[29:14] it could be much much bigger. I think I
[29:17] could have set 3700
[29:20] more feet of footage for a septic field
[29:24] if I got property back that originally
[29:27] was there.
[29:28] Okay.
[29:29] I I don't know how it even disappeared.
[29:31] Okay. It sounds to me like maybe since
[29:34] you don't have anything like fared out,
[29:37] maybe I could ask some of the planning
[29:40] commissioners that are here right now if
[29:43] they would just want to sit down with
[29:45] you and me more on a one-on-one than in
[29:48] a structured meeting where we could you
[29:52] could just tell us what you've got and
[29:53] we could just kind of
[29:55] digest that information.
[29:56] That would be wonderful.
[29:57] Okay, why don't we do that? just spend
[29:59] an hour and a half register these
[30:02] wherever it is here.
[30:05] All right, let's do that. I know where
[30:06] to find you. So, um I
[30:10] after I speak with some of the other
[30:12] planning commissioners um about some
[30:14] availability. Maybe we could just sit
[30:16] down for an hour with you one day and go
[30:17] over it. Okay. That it doesn't have to
[30:19] be an official meeting.
[30:21] We should uh we should include the
[30:23] health department for this area. He's
[30:28] he doesn't know what to do.
[30:31] Okay. Well, you can we it's just a start
[30:33] for now, you know, if you want to just
[30:37] however you want to do it. We'll come up
[30:38] with a date. So, um that being the case,
[30:40] right before we adjourn, um being that
[30:43] this might be just kind of a private
[30:45] one-on-one meeting, I think might just
[30:46] be easier. Um for us, I don't think it
[30:48] requires a meeting. Um, is there any
[30:51] items that would be on October's agenda
[30:54] that would cause us to need to meet?
[31:00] Okay.
[31:01] All right. So, we could probably get a
[31:04] motion to not um not meet
[31:10] um in October. Yeah. And then you can
[31:12] pass that on to the council at the next
[31:14] meeting.
[31:16] I'll just let the council
[31:20] Is there anybody who would like to make
[31:22] a motion to cancel October's planning
[31:24] commission meeting?
[31:28] Okay, I'll make a motion. Um, I'll make
[31:30] a motion to cancel October's planning
[31:32] commission meeting.
[31:35] I have a second.
[31:40] Can I have an all in favor? I
[31:50] Okay. Um, we are adjourned.
[31:52] Oh, I'm sorry. We need a motion to
[31:55] I'm going to get the hang of this yet.
[31:56] So, this is my This is my first one,
[31:58] right?
[31:59] I think that's actually the only thing
[32:00] that you don't need a motion for.
[32:01] Oh, I don't. Oh, you should do it.
[32:03] That's why you don't have it on there.
[32:04] I'll make a motion first.
[32:06] Okay. Anybody?
[32:08] Second.
[32:11] We are all in favor. I done
