[0:19] Good. Is everyone ready to go?
[0:20] » Ready to go?
[0:21] » Yeah.
[0:22] » Okay. Good evening, everyone, and
[0:24] welcome to the Parents and Town Board
[0:26] meeting.
[0:27] Um I'd like to call the meeting to
[0:28] order, and we'll start off saying the
[0:30] Pledge of Allegiance led by Ms. Sarah
[0:32] Masterson.
[0:35] » I pledge allegiance
[0:36] to the flag
[0:37] of the United States of America.
[0:40] And to the republic for which it stands,
[0:42] one nation under God, indivisible, with
[0:45] liberty and justice for all.
[0:56] » Okay.
[0:57] First, I will start off with some
[1:00] introductions. I'm Jen Townsend, your
[1:01] Town Supervisor,
[1:03] um and my fellow board members up here,
[1:05] we have starting with Councilman Dave
[1:07] Masterson, Councilwoman Emily Mishler,
[1:10] Councilman Mike Felino, and Councilwoman
[1:13] Meredith Stockman Broadbent, and Town
[1:15] Clerk Andrew Gilchrist. And the staff
[1:18] that we have here tonight, we have
[1:20] starting down there at the end, our
[1:22] student representative Finley Driscoll,
[1:24] and assistant to the Town Supervisor
[1:26] Melissa Martins, our Town Assessor is
[1:29] over here, Mr. Wayne Pickering, and we
[1:32] have our Commissioner of Recreation and
[1:34] Parks Jeff Nutting, Volunteer Board
[1:36] Coordinator Chris Mueller, our Director
[1:39] of Finance Brian Dick, our Commissioner
[1:41] of DPW Jason Kennedy, and our Attorney
[1:45] to the Town Kevin Overton. Thank you
[1:47] everyone for joining us today and for
[1:48] those who are here in person. Our Town
[1:51] Board meetings are recorded and may be
[1:53] transcribed with AI.
[1:56] And we will start off with our meeting
[1:58] minutes for our May 13th meeting. You
[2:00] all should have received a cop draft
[2:02] copy of our meeting minutes. Um, does
[2:04] anybody have any comments or questions?
[2:08] Not seeing none, can I have a motion to
[2:09] accept?
[2:10] » I'll move.
[2:12] » Follino and second Stockman-Bradbent.
[2:14] Thank you.
[2:16] Okay, first up we have a request from
[2:18] our director of volunteer boards
[2:19] regarding the sustainability advisory
[2:21] board. Due to a scheduling conflict with
[2:23] a revised town board calendar, we are
[2:25] being asked to move the already approved
[2:27] and publicly advertised June 15th
[2:29] meeting of the sustainability advisory
[2:31] board to June 18th at 7:00 p.m. Um, in
[2:35] room 204C at the community center.
[2:39] Um, if approved tonight, a legal notice
[2:41] will be published to reflect this
[2:42] change. Is there any discussion?
[2:47] » I just have a question. Are those
[2:48] meetings open to the public?
[2:49] » They are.
[2:49] » Okay.
[2:50] » Yep, they are open to the public. Um,
[2:53] they will be in a community center room
[2:54] periodically, but then when they have
[2:56] um, info sessions and stuff, they'll
[2:58] probably be bringing them in into the
[3:00] boardroom. But they are open to the
[3:02] public.
[3:04] Okay, no discussion. I'll entertain a
[3:06] motion to approve the meeting date
[3:07] change.
[3:09] » So moved.
[3:10] » All right, Mishler.
[3:11] And a second?
[3:12] » I'll second.
[3:13] » Stockman-Bradbent.
[3:15] Okay, next we have a memorandum from our
[3:17] assessor regarding a proposed settlement
[3:20] for a tax a
[3:22] tax assessment litigation case involving
[3:24] 600
[3:26] at building 600 at Willowbrook Office
[3:28] Park located at 1451 Pittsburgh Victor
[3:32] Road. This property has been vacant
[3:34] since 2019 and is currently under
[3:37] dispute for its 2025 assessment. After
[3:40] negotiations with the property owner,
[3:42] Uniland Partnership, a settlement has
[3:44] been reached pending our approval
[3:46] tonight.
[3:47] To reduce the assessed value by
[3:49] $500,000,
[3:50] bringing it to 3,889
[3:55] whatever that number is, dollars
[3:58] for 2025. I'm going to now pass it to
[4:02] Assessor Pickering to give us more
[4:04] details.
[4:05] » I think you pretty much covered it,
[4:07] Ms. Madam Supervisor. The
[4:10] building was built originally in 2001
[4:12] for a single tenant. Uh,
[4:15] Windstream was the name of the company.
[4:18] In 2019,
[4:20] they moved out of the building.
[4:22] Um,
[4:23] and the building has been vacant
[4:27] ever since.
[4:28] The Board of Assessment Review they came
[4:30] to the Board of Assessment Review last
[4:32] year and with an appraisal for $6
[4:34] million
[4:35] and the Board of Assessment Review it
[4:37] didn't lower they lowered it but not all
[4:39] the way
[4:40] to that value.
[4:42] So,
[4:43] um, they filed a certiorari last year
[4:47] and
[4:48] since the and then they came back and
[4:51] and we've been negotiating with them to
[4:53] try to
[4:54] have them drop that
[4:57] or settle for a
[5:00] different assessment. So, we did
[5:03] agree to lower
[5:06] the assessment by $500,000 for 2025
[5:10] and to pay
[5:13] any tax refunds back to the county,
[5:16] town, and school
[5:18] for any overpayment.
[5:21] The total
[5:24] payback the estimated total refund to
[5:28] for the county would be $4,651.
[5:33] For the town, fire and the ambulance
[5:36] will be $1,831.
[5:39] And then back to the school, $10,780.
[5:43] So, school paid their own refund.
[5:45] The county will uh, pay their refund and
[5:48] the county will also pay the town, uh,
[5:51] refund and then charge that back to the
[5:53] town through the county services.
[5:56] Next year.
[6:00] » Great. Anybody have any questions for
[6:02] Assessor Pickering?
[6:04] » Very briefly, if I understand that
[6:06] correctly, ultimately the town of
[6:08] Barrington would only be obligated for
[6:10] about 1840
[6:12] $31. Okay. That's
[6:16] I would imagine significantly less than,
[6:20] one day of litigation.
[6:21] » Right.
[6:23] » Now, one other question, if
[6:26] this building ever does reach 100%
[6:28] occupancy again or is re-purposed,
[6:31] during the next town-wide reassessment,
[6:33] would that
[6:34] increase use or occupancy be reflected
[6:37] then?
[6:38] » That depends on what the leases for the
[6:39] building,
[6:41] uh, are indicating the,
[6:42] uh, income stream
[6:44] for those spaces would be, but I would
[6:47] suspect so, yes.
[6:48] » Okay. Thank you.
[6:51] » Um, I just have a quick question. With,
[6:53] it seems like a lot of, a lot of these
[6:55] that at least make it to the board are
[6:57] from these office buildings. Um, do you
[7:00] expect now since the town-wide
[7:01] reassessment is done, we'll see less of
[7:03] those?
[7:05] Like less challenges?
[7:05] » We'll probably see more.
[7:07] » Probably see more.
[7:07] » Yeah, office space adjusted is kind of
[7:11] passe at this point.
[7:13] And, um, we'll have to wait to see if it
[7:15] ever, uh, comes back
[7:18] uh, to the way it was, uh,
[7:20] pre-COVID.
[7:22] » Thank you.
[7:25] Any more questions?
[7:27] Okay. If not, I'll entertain a motion to
[7:29] approve the settlement as presented.
[7:31] » So moved.
[7:32] » Felina?
[7:33] » Second.
[7:34] » Masterson? All in favor?
[7:36] » Aye.
[7:36] » Aye.
[7:37] » That passes.
[7:42] Okay.
[7:43] Next up, we have a memorandum from
[7:45] Assessor Pickering. A good idea, you can
[7:47] stay right there, regarding the proposed
[7:49] pilot agreement for Meadowside
[7:51] Apartments, formerly known as Northfield
[7:53] Housing, located on 9 Mile Line Road. Uh
[7:57] this agreement uses a shelter rent
[7:58] method to calculate pilot payments,
[8:00] similar to the existing agreement
[8:01] approved in 2006.
[8:04] Um however, the proposed agreement is
[8:05] expected to generate higher payments the
[8:07] town over its term, making it a stronger
[8:10] arrangement overall. Uh the folks from
[8:12] Meadowbrook did present to this board at
[8:14] a previous workshop. Assessor Pickering,
[8:16] I'll pass it to you to explain where we
[8:18] ended up in our negotiations.
[8:22] » All right. So, um
[8:24] do you all have a copy of the
[8:29] I don't know if I do.
[8:36] I guess I don't.
[8:39] » Of the agreement?
[8:40] » No.
[8:41] » I don't think I have I put it in the
[8:42] packet.
[8:43] » All right.
[8:44] So, um the they're going to be paying
[8:48] » That was previously submitted though, I
[8:50] do believe. I remember reviewing that.
[8:53] » Yeah.
[8:53] » Yeah.
[8:54] » Going to summarize it off the top of my
[8:55] head.
[8:56] » Oh, you have it? Okay.
[9:00] That was the one that was online, I
[9:01] think.
[9:04] Oh, I'm sorry.
[9:06] » That's
[9:06] » Oh, that's senior citizen one. Sorry,
[9:08] that's Well, you can walk us through the
[9:09] term changes.
[9:10] » Yeah, um
[9:13] the the prior set the the prior
[9:15] agreement with the Northfield, they were
[9:17] paying um
[9:19] on a per
[9:21] rent or
[9:22] a rent a certain amount per unit.
[9:26] Um which and it started back in 2006
[9:31] at $350
[9:34] per and they're or two per and there's
[9:37] 69 apartments um in the complex.
[9:42] That's been um
[9:44] had a annual increase of 3% uh
[9:48] since that time
[9:50] uh for 2026
[9:54] uh that 350 has gone up to $632.14.
[10:02] So, the total pilot agreement
[10:05] um
[10:06] this year is going to be $43,617.59
[10:12] which the town share is $10,904.40.
[10:21] Uh the county gets the same amount and
[10:23] then the school gets uh 21,808.79.
[10:27] So, it's a 50 25 25 split uh for that um
[10:32] pilot um payment. Uh we've put into the
[10:35] new agreement that that uh would uh that
[10:38] uh apportionment would remain the same.
[10:42] Yeah, um
[10:44] well, we have uh settled on a percentage
[10:48] of the shelter rent at 8% um instead of
[10:52] the per uh
[10:54] apartment uh charge.
[10:56] » They had requested 10, I think when they
[10:58] were in here
[11:00] for that and we were
[11:02] we stuck at eight.
[11:04] » Yeah.
[11:05] Um also, the agreement has a minimum
[11:07] payment that they're going to be making
[11:10] to the uh every year, which the prior uh
[11:14] uh uh uh
[11:15] uh arrangement did not and I don't I'm
[11:18] thinking it was 54,000 some dollars uh
[11:21] right off the top of my head.
[11:24] » Oh, thanks, Kevin.
[11:25] » Sorry, I have it here. It's $59,727.
[11:29] » Off by five.
[11:34] » 59729
[11:36] » As always, excellent job, Assessor Ray.
[11:38] » Yep.
[11:40] So, um
[11:42] there was one other point I was going to
[11:43] bring up, but I can't remember what it
[11:44] was right now.
[11:46] Um
[11:47] » Yeah, I think the percentage is one of
[11:48] the biggest things that we
[11:48] » Be paying full tax full tax on the land.
[11:51] » Oh, right. That's a good
[11:52] » The exemption is only or the shelter
[11:54] rent is only on the building cuz the
[11:56] building is what is producing the
[11:58] income. Um so, they'll be paying uh full
[12:01] tax on the land assessment.
[12:07] » All right. Any any questions for
[12:09] Assessor Pickering?
[12:14] All right. I'll entertain a motion to
[12:15] approve the pilot agreement. Um
[12:19] Was there any Is there corrections on it
[12:21] or anything or
[12:22] » Oh, yes. That was a a
[12:24] important thing. Um
[12:26] in the agreement that the last agreement
[12:28] that that was sent to the payment was
[12:29] supposed to be made directly to me as
[12:31] the assessor.
[12:32] And I'm not bonded.
[12:34] Um so, that should be changed to either
[12:37] go to the um
[12:39] uh town clerk's office or to the finance
[12:41] department.
[12:42] » Okay, so I'll entertain a motion to
[12:44] approve the pilot agreement contingent
[12:45] on that administrative correction.
[12:48] » I'm moved.
[12:48] » Mishler
[12:51] Masterson, all in favor?
[12:54] I, that passes.
[12:57] Okay.
[12:58] Lastly, we have a memorandum from
[13:00] Assessor Pickering regarding the
[13:02] proposed updates to the town senior
[13:04] citizen property tax exemption under
[13:07] state law. Two changes are being
[13:09] recommended. Uh first, raising the
[13:11] income eligibility threshold from 29,000
[13:14] to 50,000. This would expand access to
[13:17] the exemption, allow more seniors to
[13:19] qualify for up to a 50% reduction in
[13:23] their property taxes with a graduated
[13:25] scale above that level. Second, the
[13:27] proposal would begin including IRA
[13:29] distributions as part of income when
[13:31] determining eligibility. Right now,
[13:34] these distributions are not counted,
[13:35] which can result in higher income
[13:37] individuals qualifying for an exemption
[13:39] that's intended for residents with
[13:41] greater financial need. Taken together,
[13:43] these changes are designed to broaden
[13:46] our relief for lower and moderate income
[13:48] seniors, um while better targeting the
[13:50] program to those uh it was intended to
[13:53] support. Um
[13:55] Assessor Pickering, do you have anything
[13:57] that you want to add to that or clarify?
[13:59] » Um
[14:00] Yes, um there is. The um
[14:03] the county and the village has already
[14:05] adopted the 50,000 uh level. Uh the
[14:09] school None of the schools in the town
[14:11] have, and of course, up to now, the town
[14:13] has not, either.
[14:15] Um
[14:18] And increasing it up to the to 50,000
[14:22] um Well, let me go over the the uh some
[14:24] quick statistics at the end of my
[14:25] letter.
[14:27] And uh raising it uh to the 50,000 level
[14:30] and including uh the um
[14:33] um IRA uh distributions.
[14:37] If we do this, uh we will re- uh there's
[14:40] 228 new parcels will qualify uh for the
[14:44] exemption.
[14:46] There'll be 357
[14:47] existing exemptions that their
[14:50] percentage uh
[14:52] of exemption will increase.
[14:54] 288 will will see no change in their
[14:58] exemption at all.
[15:00] Um 43
[15:02] of uh the existing uh exemptions will
[15:05] decrease,
[15:06] uh while 11 of those will be losing uh
[15:09] over half of their exemption.
[15:12] And the kicker is that 85 parcels will
[15:15] lose the exemption altogether.
[15:19] Important uh and that I would like to
[15:21] point out about the 85 parcels who'll be
[15:23] losing the exemption is that the average
[15:25] income and I the income I used uh
[15:29] the the 20 Well, this is 26, so it's the
[15:32] 24 income that we collected for the 26
[15:36] roll.
[15:37] And the average incre- the average
[15:39] income for those 85 parcels was $81,965.
[15:44] With an income range from fit just
[15:47] almost 59,000
[15:49] to over 172,000.
[15:52] So, you know, God bless the people who
[15:54] are who were able to save for the for
[15:56] their IRA, and I'm I'm glad that they
[15:59] have it.
[16:01] Um but the exemption is made for the
[16:03] low-income senior. It's it's made for
[16:05] the people who are looking at their uh
[16:08] their tax taxes or their bills on the
[16:10] table, and they have to decide whether
[16:13] if I paid my tax bill,
[16:16] what bill need do I need
[16:18] » Right.
[16:19] » That I need do I pay electric uh home
[16:22] insurance or or whatever. It's not for
[16:25] the person who says, "Well, if I pay the
[16:26] tax bill, do I go to Walt Disney World
[16:30] today or put a down payment on a car?"
[16:32] » Right.
[16:32] » So, um that's what we're trying to to do
[16:35] to uh include the IRAs, and um because
[16:40] it is income, they do have it. They do
[16:42] have it to uh to pay uh the taxes.
[16:47] And the
[16:48] uh the public hearing will have I'd like
[16:50] to set the public hearing uh for June
[16:53] 15th,
[16:54] so that um
[16:56] we can get that into the uh renewal
[16:59] letters that'll be uh sent right out
[17:01] after that.
[17:06] » Great. Thank you. Questions?
[17:08] I was just going to say, Wayne, um this
[17:10] is really just a redistribution of
[17:12] relief, so that those who are most needy
[17:15] will be able to receive that support.
[17:18] Is that
[17:20] It's a a redistribution
[17:23] of the relief so that those who are most
[17:25] needy are receiving the support.
[17:28] Right, with with including the IRA as
[17:29] income.
[17:31] Okay.
[17:32] » Yeah. Yeah.
[17:41] It's just the distributions from the
[17:42] IRA.
[17:44] We used to count the district or the in
[17:47] interest dividends and uh that were
[17:50] earned on the IRA. But that was changed
[17:53] here a couple years ago when they
[17:54] changed the formula to
[17:56] the state level.
[18:00] » That was one point I was going to make.
[18:01] These parameters and guidelines are set
[18:02] by the state, right? It's not the
[18:04] municipality.
[18:06] » It's It's It's part of a local law that
[18:09] uh the the real property tax law says
[18:11] that the real that the IRA distributions
[18:14] shall be excluded from the income unless
[18:17] the municipality uh passes a local law
[18:20] resolution
[18:22] uh saying otherwise.
[18:24] » Right.
[18:24] » So, that's what we'll be doing here
[18:25] tonight. Or I'll actually at the town
[18:28] public hearing.
[18:29] » Right.
[18:31] And it's nice to
[18:33] expand so that more folks will qualify.
[18:37] Um I think it makes sense. An additional
[18:40] 228,
[18:42] right? That's a that's Right. Quite an
[18:43] increase of those who will qualify for
[18:45] that.
[18:45] » Right.
[18:49] » Okay. If there's no more questions, uh
[18:51] the action tonight is to schedule the
[18:52] public hearing
[18:54] on this proposed change for June 15th.
[18:58] Um and I'll entertain a motion to set
[18:59] the public hearing.
[19:01] » So moved.
[19:03] » Second.
[19:03] » Mishler, Stockman,
[19:05] Broadbent, all in favor?
[19:08] » I.
[19:08] » I. That passes.
[19:11] » Thank you.
[19:11] » Thank you very much, Assessor Pickering.
[19:16] Okay, before we move on to updates,
[19:19] um I'd like to invite up our student
[19:21] representative, Finley Driskill, to the
[19:24] podium to chat with us a little bit and
[19:27] maybe give us some updates.
[19:34] » Hello, I just want to share a little bit
[19:36] about what's going on with the youth
[19:37] right now.
[19:39] So, AP exams just wrapped up and
[19:41] students are preparing for the Regents
[19:43] tests at the end of June. Additionally,
[19:45] seniors just celebrated decision day for
[19:48] their post-high school plans as we move
[19:51] forward towards graduation for the
[19:52] seniors.
[19:54] For the juniors and even some of the
[19:55] sophomores, college searches are going
[19:58] on. I personally just went to Kentucky
[20:00] with my dad and visited the University
[20:02] of Kentucky.
[20:04] So, yeah, lots of exciting big changes
[20:07] going on.
[20:08] » That's great. Is decision day like the
[20:10] day where like all schools have to tell
[20:12] people whether they're accepted by or
[20:15] not or
[20:16] » So, for Fairport, it's more of a
[20:18] celebration to where everyone can share
[20:20] what they have decided to do after
[20:22] graduation.
[20:24] » Oh, nice. That must have been exciting.
[20:25] » Yeah. Yep.
[20:26] » Oh, great.
[20:28] We're going to get in the practice of
[20:29] our student representative, Finley, um
[20:31] just doing a quick update each at each
[20:33] meeting. So, I appreciate you doing this
[20:35] for the very first time tonight.
[20:36] » Yeah, thank you.
[20:38] » Thank you, Finley.
[20:39] Oh, wait.
[20:40] » What I do have one question. If um
[20:43] for our board meeting in June, would you
[20:45] be able to provide any Section 5 spring
[20:48] sports? Are those still going on or have
[20:49] they wrapped up?
[20:50] » Yeah, um sectionals have just started
[20:52] this week, so um
[20:54] » So, we have our next board meeting
[20:56] Monday, but like anything so we can keep
[20:58] apprised and if we're able to attend,
[21:00] that'd be awesome. Thank you.
[21:01] » Yeah, of course. Thank you so much.
[21:06] Okay, so updates.
[21:09] Supervisor updates. I don't have much.
[21:11] Just reflecting on our VFW day of
[21:13] service.
[21:15] Um, it was cold, it was rainy. Um, we
[21:18] got a lot of people they have a lot of
[21:19] people that came. It was very, very
[21:21] impressive and folks stayed for 2 hours
[21:24] if not more out in the rain cleaning
[21:27] headstones. It really was a an awesome
[21:30] event.
[21:31] Um, oddly satisfying too. I'm sure
[21:33] Meredith and
[21:35] and Dave can attest to that too. Uh,
[21:37] where you scrub it and you can't even
[21:39] read the name and then you rinse it off
[21:41] and you're saying hello to somebody who
[21:44] maybe their name hasn't been spoken for
[21:45] a long time. So, it was a very cool
[21:47] experience. Um, we had our Memorial Day
[21:50] events. I just wanted to say thank you
[21:52] to the VFW and Mike Silini for running
[21:55] just a really amazing um,
[21:58] and touching program and so
[21:59] professionally done.
[22:01] Um, I don't have anything else. I'll
[22:03] open it up to the board for any other
[22:05] updates.
[22:07] » Just a quick update for the
[22:08] Sustainability Board. Um, the
[22:11] Sustainability Board held its first
[22:12] meeting as with all board members on May
[22:15] 18th. Uh, the newly appointed members
[22:18] had the opportunity to meet the existing
[22:20] board members and Jeff Myers, our our
[22:23] board chair, led the meeting
[22:25] just with a really positive tone with
[22:27] the help of Supervisor Townson.
[22:30] And a key takeaway from the meeting was
[22:31] the review.
[22:33] Um, we reviewed the community climate
[22:35] action fund pilot application.
[22:38] Um, board members were asked to suggest
[22:40] projects or actions that might align
[22:42] with that application, but also
[22:44] requirements needed for the New York
[22:47] State Climate Smart Communities program.
[22:49] And so, we're working on figuring out a
[22:52] perfect fit for that application and if
[22:55] if that is um, acquired, it would be a
[22:57] $10,000
[22:59] um,
[23:00] fund that we could we could we can all
[23:01] use. Extra $10,000 worth towards
[23:04] sustainability. So, great first meeting.
[23:07] Uh the next the next meeting will be
[23:09] held June 18th at 7:00 p.m. in room 204C
[23:14] and it is open to the public.
[23:16] » Awesome.
[23:18] » Thank you.
[23:19] Anyone else?
[23:22] » Not a comment, but a question for
[23:24] Commissioner Kennedy. The recycle
[23:26] shredding event, do you have any idea
[23:28] how many people may have come through
[23:30] there?
[23:30] » Good question.
[23:33] » Um so, in years past we have done
[23:37] traffic counts to try to gauge that. We
[23:40] we did not do that this year because
[23:42] we've kind of got mixed results.
[23:45] But, I don't currently have an estimate
[23:48] of number of vehicles or attendees, but
[23:51] what we will have shortly is summation
[23:54] of the total
[23:56] tonnage and and pounds of the different
[23:59] materials that we received. So, happy to
[24:01] share that with with the board through
[24:03] the supervisor.
[24:05] » Paper shredding is offered twice a year,
[24:08] correct? We have another
[24:10] paper shredding option.
[24:12] » Yes, that's right.
[24:12] » Cuz that was like that was the most
[24:14] popular option. That was the longest
[24:16] line.
[24:17] » Yeah. Yeah, we'll we'll work with the
[24:18] clerk's office again and
[24:21] and host a shredding event in the fall.
[24:22] » Okay. Great.
[24:26] » I will just say with now the good
[24:28] weather, everyone who's driving, please
[24:30] just slow down, be aware of children
[24:32] that are excited for summer weather,
[24:35] folks out walking, walking their dogs,
[24:37] everyone taking advantage of it. Let's
[24:39] just
[24:40] those of us that are driving, please
[24:41] just slow down, be a little bit
[24:43] observant of what's going on in the
[24:44] edges of the street. Let's all have a
[24:46] fun, safe community time. Just be
[24:49] cognizant now that it's finally after a
[24:50] long wet spring, we can all get out and
[24:52] enjoy it together.
[24:54] » Great point.
[24:56] Um just want to pass on a compliment to
[24:57] the Parks Department. I saw them out uh
[24:59] doing the flower beds, I think, at the
[25:01] town hall.
[25:03] Uh they look really, really nice. And
[25:04] they just do such a good job um with our
[25:06] facilities. The skate park always looks
[25:09] clean. And I know that's got to be a
[25:12] tough one um with all the traffic and
[25:14] activity there. So, they just do a
[25:15] really great job. I want to thank them
[25:16] for that. And I think everybody was out
[25:19] doing yard work on Monday. I know it's
[25:22] like the first time I really touched my
[25:23] yard, and the DPW you sh got all my
[25:26] stuff. And I think for a lot of people
[25:28] the DPW must have been working overtime.
[25:29] So, thank you so much.
[25:31] » That's a great point. Actually, it made
[25:32] me makes me think to give a shout out to
[25:35] Parks, too, for how wet of a spring it's
[25:39] been and the extra work that that causes
[25:43] our staff to navigate fields. And they
[25:46] have been working really hard. So, I
[25:49] just want to give a shout out
[25:50] to Dylan and the whole crew down there
[25:53] um
[25:53] to thank them for the work that they're
[25:55] doing.
[25:58] » All right. Anything else? Okay, if not,
[26:01] I will open it up to public comment. Uh
[26:04] if you are here, raise your hand and
[26:06] I'll call on you to come up. Please
[26:08] state your name and address before
[26:09] speaking. If you're online, please hit
[26:11] the raise your hand button.
[26:13] And Chris will unmute you when it's your
[26:15] chance to speak. Is there anyone here
[26:17] who would like to come up and speak?
[26:21] No one? Okay. All right. Anyone online,
[26:24] Chris?
[26:25] » No one has rais No one has raised their
[26:27] hand, Supervisor.
[26:28] » Okay. All right. I'll close public
[26:30] comment. We have no matters of urgency
[26:32] tonight. We will be going into executive
[26:35] session, so we're not going to adjourn
[26:36] now, um but we will be taking executive
[26:39] session in the conference room.
[26:41] All right. Thank you for everybody for
[26:43] coming out tonight.
[26:45] Never mind. May I have a motion to enter
[26:47] executive session?
[26:48] » So moved.
[26:49] » Bollino.
[26:51] Second. Second, Mishler. Thank you,
[26:53] Mike.
[26:53] » You're welcome.
[26:56] » Oh, do we have to Sorry, all in favor?
[26:57] » I.
[26:58] » I. That passes.
[27:01] » It's the We need a
