[4:37] Several years ago they tried that back whenever count I think count had four or

[4:42] five officers. sheriff between the sheriff's department and counting police

[4:46] department. They helped out by locking the gate at night. But the problem we've

[4:52] run into now, counting I think's only got two and maybe one part-time officer

[4:58] and most time our county units are covering counting at nighttime. So it'd

[5:04] be basically put on the burden of the sheriff's department if they're not busy

[5:08] with stuff out in the county. And I don't feel it's the sheriff's

[5:13] department's place to be locking that gate up every night and

[5:18] going up checking to see if anybody's up there. Uh, with the gate, the gate would

[5:23] work except I've got one thing that I don't like about

[5:29] you have to have a sensor of some kind on the inside of the gate in case

[5:34] somebody doesn't get out of there in time, the gate shuts. They're going to

[5:38] have to have a way to get their vehicle out. And it won't take long if we put a

[5:42] sensor up that people wanting to go up there and party is going to realize all

[5:45] they have to do is walk in there, trip the sensor, the gates going to open up,

[5:49] they can drive up there, the gates going to close, and they're up there for the

[5:53] night partying and nobody will know there's anything going on.

[5:58] I don't know really what the alternative is.

[6:03] » My personal opinion is that it's a public park. It should be open 24 hours,

[7:30] the bathroom like bathrooms in the observation areas

[7:36] out glass to overlook the dam. U I just know what I just I know what's going to

[7:44] happen when we leave it open 24/7 because I've seen it in the 70s and 80s.

[7:58] » You cannot have a trigger on the inside that just triggers it at will. So they

[8:03] can open the gate up. But you can have it. I've been into parking garages

[8:10] they've got a picture of me and I tell them what my problem is and they can

[8:14] open the gate. So as long as we have connectivity, we can do that. We also

[8:18] can put cameras up there that trigger as people there's any motion or whatever's

[8:24] going on up there. So, that's another alternative. And the locks on the

[8:28] restrooms, if if it's decided a certain time to close them, you can

[8:32] automatically lock them. If you've ever went to an Airbnb and you try to stay

[8:36] over, you're out. I mean, uh there's systems out there and they're not overly

[8:41] expensive. >> And I think it can meet the security

[8:44] issue and also open because it is a public park. So

[8:50] to see what the costs are associated with

[8:51] » the camera as far as like a button camera come on. Would that be monitored

[15:39] fan on in that whole building trying to get rid of the odor. We finally we

[15:46] finally did. But u Greg checked on a a price of fans from I

[15:53] think Valley Supply or one of them and it was a little bit high. But I'd like

[15:57] for him to try to come up with a maybe a cheaper fan cuz we got two u areas in

[16:05] the cooler area that they used to be uh duck work that went outside. If we could

[16:10] put a fan in one of those, try to help draw that odor out, it would help a

[16:16] bunch. Now, Pam was out there after the autopsy, and it had a lot of it had

[16:23] left, but at the time when the autopsy was going on, [snorts]

[16:29] uh, Mr. Ramsey from the high school was out in front of the health department,

[16:34] he was out there gagging. It was so bad. And um

[16:38] » so but let me let me envision this here. Do you have seals on your door? Your

[17:06] the fan going. >> Well, but what you want to do is take

[17:08] all of your air and make positive pressure, taking the air out.

[17:12] » We was pushing >> and sucking air from inside of the

[17:14] building and pushing it out. And what you don't want to do is have a return

[17:18] air in your room that allows the the the return to be pulled out of your room

[17:23] because then it just pulls it into the HVAC system and circulates through the

[17:27] whole building. You shouldn't have had that much with a set of double doors and

[17:30] that. I mean, >> we had everything. I I get it, but I

[17:33] mean uh um >> there's ways to mitigate that.

[17:38] » We had the two big exhaust fans that's portable that Steve's got out there. We

[17:42] had one of them sitting inside the building blowing through my

[17:46] office, the other one outside the double doors out back underneath the canopy

[17:51] pulling through to trying to pull the smell out. But it just went uh through

[17:58] the whole building just and it didn't take long either. But like I said, Greg

[18:03] looked at uh trying to find a price and the one that he had was pretty expensive

[18:09] and I told him that was too that's to me it was too much money. But I like for

[18:14] him to try to go ahead before he leaves try to get another fan to put in the uh

[18:19] cooler room to pull some of that air. >> But cool your cooler room doesn't smell,

[18:25] does it? >> It does when you have a decomposed body

[18:29] in there. the whole build basically the whole building does and uh

[18:35] » I think you need to control so that air doesn't get into the rest of the

[19:32] recirculating that air through the building.

[22:01] it. Uh the pay is uh below average for a CDL

[22:08] professional driver. And I think if you take the uh Monday through Thursday

[22:15] work week away, uh there's really not many things that are left about this job

[22:19] that are attractive to somebody wanting to come in, guys wanting to stay.

[22:32] four open positions right now, soon to be five here in a couple weeks.
