[0:03] Good to go. Thank you.
[0:05] >> Okay. Looking about the table, I see the
[0:07] presence of a board.
[0:08] >> You can fold it in right like to call
[0:10] the meeting to order.
[0:12] With that said, come would you lead us
[0:15] in education? Do that. Let us pray.
[0:19] Heavenly Father, Lord, in Jesus name, we
[0:21] thank you God for the day. First thing,
[0:23] we appreciate you Lord. We thank you God
[0:25] for helping us. And we do ask you Lord
[0:27] to continue to guide us in the decisions
[0:30] to be made for the town. We thank you
[0:32] for our town Lord and again we want to
[0:34] do our best for God again. So we will
[0:37] give you the praise and honor in it God
[0:40] because we know we need your wisdom to
[0:42] be able to do the things right Jesus
[0:45] name we pray. Amen.
[0:48] >> Thank you sir. Let's all stand as we're
[0:54] aliance to the flag of the United States
[0:58] of America and to the republic for which
[1:01] it stands. One nation under God,
[1:05] indivisible with liberty and justice for
[1:08] all.
[1:15] Notice
[1:17] supporting himself, not
[1:21] either one of us fall down, y'all gather
[1:23] up and help us up.
[1:26] It'll be it'll be teamwork.
[1:29] [laughter]
[1:30] It's a shame to get old and
[1:33] can't stand up.
[1:36] >> Okay. None of you.
[1:38] [laughter]
[1:39] >> You still got your balance. T and I
[1:41] lost.
[1:43] Okay. We have before us either written
[1:46] form or electronic approve of the
[1:49] minutes from the previous meeting. So
[1:51] I'd like to entertain a motion to
[1:54] accept as presented or make changes as
[1:57] needed.
[1:58] >> Are are the names spelled correctly of
[2:01] the guests uh Linda and Mr. Morel?
[2:08] They
[2:09] >> That's what they had on the signing
[2:10] sheet.
[2:19] » Look at her.
[2:24] » Oh, they didn't. Um they came in late
[2:26] and didn't
[2:30] » Yeah. No, they're on here. Ward.
[2:32] >> Yeah.
[2:33] >> Oh,
[2:34] >> they're on there.
[2:36] The one I got, Linda was spelled L I N
[2:39] A, I think.
[2:41] >> Oh,
[2:42] >> Linda wasn't spelled correctly. And I
[2:44] don't think Morel spelled spelled
[2:46] correctly.
[2:51] » Okay.
[2:53] Morel is spelled correctly.
[2:56] >> Okay,
[2:57] >> but Linda, we just left the D off. Easy
[3:00] fix.
[3:01] >> Easy fix.
[3:03] Oh, I I sure hope that's the worst
[3:05] mistake you ever made.
[3:08] [laughter]
[3:09] >> But you will be
[3:12] dang
[3:14] proof reading.
[3:16] >> No, not
[3:17] >> I I I I proof read them.
[3:21] >> Okay. Don't entertain a motion to make
[3:24] the changes as needed. So move second.
[3:28] >> Okay. Any other discussion?
[3:31] That's what I was like
[3:35] for last. All those in favor accepting
[3:37] your minutes with corrections, please
[3:39] signify by stating I
[3:42] >> on the same sign.
[3:44] Minutes are approved.
[3:48] Boy, crowd in here tonight. I don't know
[3:51] whether we're going to get through it or
[3:53] not. We'll be here all night.
[3:56] >> That's it. Unless somebody's bad, we'll
[3:59] do that. How about correspondence from
[4:00] the town office?
[4:02] >> No, sir.
[4:04] >> Okay,
[4:06] Derek, if you don't mind, turn it over
[4:08] to Houston.
[4:09] >> I had 17 calls for a month and I had one
[4:12] arrest for shot and then you can see on
[4:15] there that assaults and welfare checks,
[4:20] couple mental health complaints.
[4:22] Uh, also I put a flyer on on y'all's
[4:25] desk for the 911 ceremony on the 13th of
[4:29] September.
[4:31] We'll be sharing that on our Facebook
[4:33] page and
[4:54] We uh I got a call just through
[4:56] curiosity just for conversation sake
[4:58] asking me who was his funeral home and I
[5:01] looked it up. It was Jerry Buck. I don't
[5:04] want anybody in here knows Jerry. I How
[5:07] old was
[5:10] >> Yeah.
[5:12] >> Jerry I didn't realize until then they
[5:14] were twins.
[5:16] >> Both fine fellas both of them. That's
[5:19] Charlie Buck's younger brother. But
[5:22] anyway, Jerry had a lot of people.
[5:25] >> It was
[5:27] out there
[5:30] who knows there's no park.
[5:31] >> No getting in there. But I didn't I just
[5:36] [clears throat] want to sort of bring
[5:36] that up. I was like Jerry and Larry both
[5:39] they used to they go everywhere we would
[5:41] sing. See the B brothers. Okay. Any
[5:46] other got correspondents from the town
[5:48] council?
[5:50] Okay, we've done the police report.
[5:53] Anybody have any other questions for
[5:55] Derek?
[5:58] » All right, I'm checking off.
[6:00] >> Terry, did you ask did you get a hold of
[6:04] the person? I thought you did. Okay,
[6:06] >> I did.
[6:07] >> Okay.
[6:08] >> And he texted me. I let him know the day
[6:09] after I got a hold of him. Okay. He told
[6:11] me he texted me and said he voted back.
[6:13] >> He did. Thank you.
[6:16] Excellent. Always nice to get results.
[6:21] Okay, any other questions? If not, it's
[6:24] just unfinished business and the
[6:27] addition to town shop is something
[6:29] probably skip over now that we can't pay
[6:31] for it last.
[6:31] >> Well, I disagree, Mr.
[6:34] >> We can uh
[6:36] >> we can move we can move we can move
[6:38] money from reserves for that.
[6:40] >> Okay.
[6:41] >> Um
[6:42] >> that's good. the the only procedural
[6:44] thing I need to figure out and I I'll do
[6:46] it with Locky um as well is if it's a
[6:52] certain amount of the budget we have to
[6:53] do a budget amendment. So I need to see
[6:55] if we have to do a budget amendment to
[6:57] move that money or if we can just I
[6:59] don't I don't see it being close to
[7:01] being
[7:02] >> enough money for it to have to have a
[7:05] budget amendment. But let me check on
[7:07] that before we move the money. The money
[7:10] was there because when the budget when
[7:13] the new budget started the old budget
[7:16] went into reserve what was left over
[7:18] >> right
[7:19] >> so the money was is there
[7:22] >> it's just not earmarked in the budget
[7:24] >> out of reserve
[7:25] >> and put it in the next year's budget in
[7:27] a sense
[7:28] >> and pay for the new the addition to that
[7:31] building
[7:32] >> great I'm glad we may be able to get
[7:34] that done that's wonderful
[7:36] >> yes
[7:39] height. So, you got to find out some
[7:42] information. What about the Locust
[7:44] Avenue water supply?
[7:46] >> Uh VDH,
[7:48] um
[7:50] they sent me a uh permit to sign and
[7:55] then all we're waiting on them is to
[7:56] sign off on it. Um I'm meeting with the
[7:59] engineer tomorrow at 2:00 to talk to
[8:02] them and make sure we're ready to go on
[8:04] that and then we'll bid it out.
[8:08] Okay, any questions?
[8:12] Okay, the whiff foundation grant, it's
[8:15] been submitted. We're waiting on
[8:16] approval. See if we got
[8:20] money or not.
[8:23] >> Okay, Dale, I need information in the
[8:27] National.
[8:28] >> I do. Um, the bridges are on board, so
[8:33] they're going to open this up. Um, I'm
[8:39] working with Pastor Vanover
[8:43] and Jason is coming back from Maryland to give us the service if
[8:51] he doesn't have a funeral to attend to.
[8:53] and I'm going to get in touch with all
[8:55] of the pastors in the community and
[8:57] invite them all to attend. And then what
[9:01] we'll do after this year is try to go on
[9:03] a rotation and give every one of them
[9:05] the opportunity to to do it. But I
[9:08] thought
[9:10] um Jason want to come back to town and
[9:13] do it was a was a good thing.
[9:16] >> You lose it.
[9:19] Do
[9:19] >> you need any funds for this? Is this
[9:21] costing anything?
[9:23] We are going to have to buy the um
[9:27] materials from the National Day of
[9:28] Prayer
[9:30] Foundation that give us kind of the
[9:33] guidelines to go by. And I would like to
[9:38] have some funding somewhere to at least
[9:41] buy dinner for Pastor McNees or maybe
[9:43] pay for his room since he's driving all
[9:45] the way from Maryland.
[9:47] We can do that under undesated in the 10
[9:49] fund in the
[9:51] >> How much how much do you think you you
[9:54] need? You know what this material is
[9:55] going to cost?
[9:56] >> I don't know. They haven't released that
[9:58] yet. And I would like to give the riches
[10:00] something. Usually they give it back or
[10:01] they take it and donate it to somebody,
[10:03] but I I hate to ask them to play for
[10:05] free all the time.
[10:08] So I mean
[10:09] >> $1,200 would be great. $1,500 whatever
[10:14] you all feel fuel.
[10:15] >> We have that. Do you want that to come
[10:16] out of contributions?
[10:18] >> However you
[10:19] >> I mean that's what we do for civic
[10:21] organizations and things like that. So
[10:25] >> $1,200 $1,200. Perfect.
[10:27] >> I move we allocate $1,200 out of
[10:30] contributions to the National Day of
[10:33] Prayer.
[10:34] >> Second.
[10:38] Great.
[10:39] >> And have you heard anything about using
[10:40] the depot from Mike Paul?
[10:43] >> No, I haven't. Okay.
[10:45] >> Um, so you do want the depot and not the
[10:47] community center because we can block
[10:49] either one off.
[10:50] >> We were thinking about using the depot
[10:53] and if it got too big just moving out
[10:56] into the flat, but if you would rather
[10:58] use the community you this is I'll do
[11:01] whatever you want.
[11:01] >> What does council think? I mean, what is
[11:03] your all's opinion?
[11:09] » I think the parking is a lot better at
[11:11] the community center. It is parking's a
[11:13] lot better and we own the building,
[11:16] >> right?
[11:18] >> So, it it's Thursday. First Thursday.
[11:24] >> Yeah, it's on Thursday. So, you won't
[11:26] have any trouble
[11:29] with anybody booking it.
[11:31] >> Well, I can tell you real quick. Y'all
[11:33] go ahead and keep
[11:35] I mean, I'm finding this place. It's And
[11:38] you know, at at the community center, at
[11:40] least we got you got the stage. So the
[11:42] speakers are looking
[11:44] >> out at the audience.
[11:45] >> The parking is much better.
[11:47] >> No. And that one year, I think the first
[11:50] year Jack Weaver did it, we had to move
[11:52] it inside there, didn't we?
[11:54] >> Because it rained so much.
[11:56] >> Yeah.
[12:00] » On the on the subject of geek.
[12:03] >> Mhm.
[12:03] >> What's the date?
[12:05] >> It's the first Thursday in May.
[12:09] >> I think it would be appropriate It's
[12:12] totally up to you. This is your show.
[12:14] Uh, but Jack started that.
[12:18] >> I think it'd be appropriate if Jack was
[12:20] recognized in some way this year since
[12:24] his passing.
[12:25] >> I wanted to recognize Jack was like a
[12:29] moment of silence.
[12:30] >> Yeah.
[12:30] >> Thanking him and leave a chair out of
[12:33] the front row open for him.
[12:34] >> Yeah.
[12:36] >> It would be more than appropriate, I
[12:38] think. Absolutely. Jack was he was very
[12:40] instrumental in this. He really was
[12:44] >> the first Thursday is the 6th in May.
[12:47] The Lions Club has the Bailey room book,
[12:49] but do you want me to reach out to them
[12:50] and see if we can reschedu them to maybe
[12:53] Tuesday?
[12:55] >> If you want to check on it, that's fine.
[12:56] >> Okay,
[13:01] perfect. Good. Now, I've got a motion on
[13:04] the floor to that allocate some money.
[13:07] Everybody understand how much? And
[13:10] $1,200.
[13:12] Okay, motion
[13:14] is none. That's uh all those in favor
[13:18] making that allocation, please signify
[13:20] by stating I post same sign. Okay, the
[13:24] motion carries. Thank you.
[13:27] Okay.
[13:31] Is any other unfinished business we need
[13:33] to cover?
[13:36] Okay. Is there any new business?
[13:41] Have one one more item left. May there
[13:44] getting them knocked off here. Twice in
[13:46] the last week I've been approached by
[13:49] different citizens.
[13:52] The subject is horse manure.
[13:57] >> Grown apples. I got a text about it too.
[14:01] You know, I don't know what we can do
[14:03] about it, but
[14:05] there is
[14:09] people who are not happy with it.
[14:14] » Do you know of any cuz you've been in
[14:16] lots of parades. I know you have. You
[14:18] don't know.
[14:20] >> I think the horse,
[14:22] don't they?
[14:23] >> It's considered a ve I mean, you can do
[14:26] in Virginia still
[14:27] >> got the right away and the roads. I
[14:29] mean,
[14:31] >> well, you know, I don't I'm not
[14:32] concerned about the traffic. The primary
[14:36] thing that I'm getting is the horse
[14:38] manure.
[14:43] » Is there any way that they can I know in
[14:46] some places there is I don't know what
[14:49] you call it, but they put
[14:51] >> the hood on.
[14:53] >> Yeah,
[14:55] >> you can, but I
[14:56] >> I'm sure that's that's probably
[14:58] technology to them. I'm sure they
[15:00] wouldn't do it.
[15:00] >> Wouldn't do it.
[15:03] >> Can Can
[15:05] we maybe inquire from uh
[15:09] >> No state no statewide law in Virginia
[15:12] makes it illegal for a horse to leave
[15:14] manure on a public road while being
[15:16] ridden.
[15:17] >> I mean, I looked at
[15:20] that. I wasn't aware that that's an
[15:23] answer we can give to them.
[15:24] >> Yeah, it's there. It's actually still
[15:27] considered mode of transportation
[15:32] » fuel.
[15:35] >> Looks like oil come falling out of here.
[15:37] [laughter]
[15:39] » The same thing as gas leaking.
[15:43] >> I'll just say this and
[15:46] if there's nothing we can do at the end
[15:47] of the day, but it would be nice if we
[15:50] could reach out to that community and
[15:52] tell them, you know, we we have a
[15:54] concern here.
[15:56] and see
[15:57] >> you got the goal
[15:58] >> kind of kind of see what their response
[16:00] is. Of course, we're not let them
[16:03] >> just at least let them understand that
[16:05] it's a problem for some.
[16:07] I don't I don't think that's too uh too
[16:10] much to ask or anybody concern about
[16:13] that is if they decide to do something
[16:15] about it and they have it happen and
[16:17] they're trying to clean up and somebody
[16:19] gets run over. Well, well, that then
[16:22] you're going to be holding up traffic to
[16:24] clean it up.
[16:25] >> That's that that's part of the
[16:26] conversation we at least have. In my
[16:28] opinion, it's not fair for us to sit
[16:30] here and say, "There's another we do, It's all done. It's over
[16:34] or whatever without even engaging them
[16:36] and trying to come out.
[16:39] So, can we not just
[16:42] on the book to do something about it?
[16:44] What can you do about it?"
[16:46] >> Yeah,
[16:48] >> that's the point. No, the point is is
[16:51] that they may or may not even perceive
[16:54] it as a problem.
[16:55] >> Well, I'm sure they don't. That's their
[16:57] mode of transportation.
[16:58] >> No, need.
[17:00] >> I'm just saying.
[17:02] >> And it's legal.
[17:03] >> And there's no one that lives in the
[17:05] town limits.
[17:08] To me, it wouldn't be unreasonable to
[17:10] ask to sit down and talk to somebody.
[17:12] >> I mean, I think that's
[17:15] >> it. Don't give it don't give a code
[17:16] section, but I'll figure out what it is
[17:18] for you.
[17:22] » I talk to I've I've been to and talked
[17:25] to the
[17:28] >> kind of the head guy and I mean he I
[17:30] mean he just has to get with his
[17:33] >> Yeah. I mean I
[17:36] >> I mean at one point
[17:39] I think
[17:41] council member Lewis
[17:43] had given me the name of a parish in or
[17:47] >> in Illinois and I had called
[17:49] >> and they had so many uh Amish in
[17:53] community in there that they had bought
[17:54] a special truck just to ride the roads
[17:57] and and clean that up. Um that's not
[18:01] something I think's feasible for the
[18:02] town.
[18:05] No, but although may not make the
[18:08] record, but this we don't have all the
[18:12] going to.
[18:13] >> Yeah,
[18:14] >> not yet.
[18:17] Okay, that's sort of under new business.
[18:21] Anything other we can think will have
[18:24] any effect?
[18:27] Apparently, it's had somebody to
[18:29] approach me
[18:33] on the
[18:35] apparently they're spraying the corn.
[18:38] Does anybody know anything about that?
[18:43] >> bottomly
[18:44] >> bottom le
[18:46] >> um we dealt with this issue
[18:49] uh with a concerned citizen on
[18:51] Pin Avenue.
[18:52] >> Yes.
[18:53] >> Um
[18:55] >> two years ago.
[18:57] uh
[18:57] >> from the side that's
[18:59] >> and at that point I had called they all
[19:03] they have all get permits through the
[19:05] county to do anything they do. Um and
[19:08] all of these have MSDS sheets that are
[19:12] approved through the state of Virginia.
[19:13] They have a database that shows approved
[19:15] and unapproved pesticides, herbicides,
[19:18] all those things. Um and I talked to a
[19:21] guy, I can't remember his name, but I
[19:23] can reach back out to him if you'd like
[19:24] for me to. Um, and they go through with
[19:27] Bottomly about every place that they do.
[19:29] And it's not just Bottomly, it's several
[19:31] other farms around that use these sprays
[19:34] on their on their uh crops. And nothing
[19:38] that they're doing from what I can
[19:40] understand and from the MSDS sheets that
[19:42] they're using is breaking any kind of
[19:45] law or
[19:47] what they're what they're what they're
[19:48] saying is causing any health related
[19:50] effects.
[19:51] >> They said they couldn't breathe.
[19:54] I mean, I'm just
[19:56] >> They have to be spray helicopter now,
[19:58] aren't they?
[19:59] >> Yeah.
[20:00] >> We I saw the helicopter.
[20:03] >> I I actually went and talked to the guy
[20:05] that runic and he said he's got all his
[20:08] permits,
[20:09] everything.
[20:12] >> And I mean, and [clears throat]
[20:12] personally, I was pretty pretty I'm not just I'm just saying I was close
[20:18] to the helicopter and where it was and I
[20:21] had no trouble with this. And you were
[20:23] right there underneath it, right?
[20:25] >> Yeah, I went. He landed right there
[20:27] where I was at top to me. I ran over
[20:29] top.
[20:33] I And I might be wrong with this. I told
[20:37] them if maybe they could see what they
[20:40] were spraying. I mean, the MS DS sheets.
[20:43] >> Did they turn them into the county?
[20:45] >> Yeah. I told them they
[20:47] >> I think I know the situation you're
[20:49] talking about. Um, and I had dealt with
[20:53] this before, but I'll be glad to reach
[20:55] back out and I actually think that I got
[20:58] copies of the MSDS sheets a couple years
[21:00] ago, but I I can't I can't remember if
[21:03] that's 100% true, but I can reach back
[21:05] out to the county and see at least make
[21:08] sure that they've got their permit for
[21:09] the spring there.
[21:14] » Okay.
[21:16] All right. Is there any other new
[21:18] business?
[21:20] All right, let's go to committee reports
[21:24] under finance and appropriation. Do you
[21:26] have any reporting there?
[21:29] >> I read this.
[21:30] >> No,
[21:32] she I I'm just going to say this. This
[21:34] could this could go under this or
[21:36] personnel. Locky's done a really good
[21:39] job. She came in at a time when she had
[21:42] to do a lot of stuff for the auditors.
[21:44] Uh she's done she's I think you've got
[21:47] everything sent right
[21:48] >> except for the invoices.
[21:49] >> She's got everything that they needed
[21:51] that she submitted today uh to for them.
[21:54] We called them explained we had a new
[21:56] treasurer. They were they were really I
[21:59] think they were really helpful and
[22:00] understanding you know that we had some
[22:02] hurdles to get over and and and they've
[22:05] helped and we we've been able to uh
[22:08] overcome any of the issues that we've
[22:10] had. The hardest part she's had is just
[22:12] getting all these people to switch her
[22:13] over into an administration role and get
[22:16] passwords changed and and and things
[22:18] like that cuz sometimes they need
[22:20] something on letterhead and whatever.
[22:22] But I'd also like to give and I think
[22:24] Locky would agree with me. I'd like to
[22:26] give Carolyn Mooney a shout out. She's
[22:30] really went above and beyond um to to
[22:34] help with the transition. Uh we knew it
[22:36] wasn't going to be easy. Um, and it's
[22:39] had our it's had its obstacles. Um, but
[22:43] Carolyn has really really stepped up.
[22:45] Um, and if you guys, you know, wanted to
[22:48] give her a gift certificate or
[22:50] something, you know, I think that would
[22:52] be because she really has, she's got a
[22:55] job to do, but she's also stepped up and
[22:58] the things that she knows how to do in
[23:00] the system that that Locky was kind of,
[23:04] you know, hit or miss on. Maybe she can
[23:07] speak to it better than I can, but I've
[23:08] seen her be a really, really big help in
[23:11] the transition and what's going on.
[23:15] Yeah, just navigating the,
[23:18] >> you know, if you're going
[23:19] >> big enough, it's hard to find some
[23:21] things, I guess,
[23:22] >> right? From a doll system to web-based,
[23:25] you know, you're just learning a new
[23:27] processing system. and she showed me
[23:30] where to look for things, how to pull
[23:31] reports
[23:33] and um she had a lot of notes that
[23:36] Monica had showed her some things on and
[23:38] she shared that with me and she's stood
[23:42] right beside me or she's grabbed the
[23:44] mouse and she's clicked and I've
[23:46] watched.
[23:47] So, she really has
[23:50] been a great help to me.
[23:54] Okay.
[23:57] You going to just put the for personnel
[23:59] or the same kind of been the same. Do we
[24:02] need to do something for her? You want
[24:04] us to do something?
[24:05] >> That's completely up to you. I I think
[24:07] she deserves it.
[24:08] >> Okay.
[24:09] >> All right.
[24:10] I'll make a suggestion.
[24:11] >> I'll get I'll suggest I'll make a motion
[24:15] just for discussion about a $100 gift
[24:19] card to the job plan. All is fair. Give
[24:22] that.
[24:24] >> There's your motion. I'll second.
[24:25] Okay, we've done that. Now, any
[24:27] discussion? That's great. I appreciate
[24:29] it.
[24:33] » Would you take care of that for us?
[24:35] >> Absolutely.
[24:35] >> Between the two of you? I have a
[24:37] question. Yes. Does it have to be the job of
[24:40] >> I I can I'll leave it to the manager's
[24:43] discussion.
[24:44] >> How about that?
[24:45] >> Do we have to specify any place? Can you
[24:48] just
[24:50] say
[24:52] >> a place a place that she that she
[24:56] >> Yes.
[24:56] >> You want to be nice to me?
[24:58] >> I just She's went above and beyond by
[25:02] far. Um, and I just think she deserves
[25:05] it. And
[25:07] >> let me just make a suggestion. Just
[25:09] before you get her, ask her
[25:12] >> what she
[25:13] >> That's what I was going to do. Yeah.
[25:16] >> Okay.
[25:18] Have a motion second. Any further
[25:21] discussion?
[25:23] Okay. All those in favor of the motion,
[25:24] please signify by stating I post. Same
[25:28] sign.
[25:29] >> Gift card to Roar Treat Farmers Market.
[25:32] [laughter]
[25:40] Dale got something to us about this part
[25:42] of Heritage Day. I have um some riders
[25:46] coming in
[25:48] and I'm trying to review some stuff to
[25:50] see what we've got pricewise and
[25:53] different things. So,
[25:56] it's never too early to get it figured
[25:58] out, but I think it's going to come
[26:00] together pretty easily now. But, we have
[26:03] the sound guys booked again and all that
[26:06] stuff's all squared away. So, I'm going
[26:09] to start working on the other stuff.
[26:12] The biggest part, the hardest part is
[26:13] getting to the main act.
[26:16] They get them to commit. They always
[26:19] want
[26:20] they don't want to put their eggs in one
[26:22] basket till the last minute. That
[26:24] doesn't help us much. But anyway,
[26:26] >> but you can get them cheaper if you cook
[26:27] them now.
[26:28] >> Well, that's exactly right.
[26:31] >> Around it.
[26:31] >> Yeah.
[26:33] So, what you know what you're doing. So,
[26:39] » no.
[26:44] who have ever thought
[26:47] to birth [clears throat] Betty White.
[26:49] >> Mhm.
[26:49] >> Yeah.
[26:54] » Okay. Thank you, Dale, for that. Any
[26:57] other committee reports we need to
[27:00] >> mural?
[27:01] >> Yeah. Oh, I'm sorry. I got ahead of
[27:04] myself. Has anybody noticed that it's
[27:06] partially done? I've been going down
[27:09] every day.
[27:11] >> I've been going down in the evenings,
[27:12] too.
[27:13] >> It's It's sort of amazing, you know, how
[27:16] he does it. He cuz that's what he does.
[27:19] >> It's kind of fun to watch all kind
[27:21] >> Well, the good thing about it is it's
[27:22] went from mural planning to mural
[27:25] construction.
[27:26] >> Yeah, construction mirror completion.
[27:29] >> But it is it is amazing how and he's
[27:32] kind of started in the back and you can
[27:34] see the sky and then over here you can
[27:36] see the sunset. It's it's it's going to
[27:38] be something something good.
[27:40] >> We're going to have a show piece and
[27:42] that it's one. Okay. I apologize for
[27:46] skipping that. Thank you for
[27:48] now. Is there any other committee?
[27:52] Okay.
[27:54] Jason.
[27:55] >> Okay. Um quite a bit on the downtown
[27:57] revitalization. Uh
[28:00] spoke to the contractor. Um, of course
[28:03] the weather's been up and down here
[28:04] lately and uh the guy that's doing the
[28:06] concrete, they had to induce uh his wife
[28:10] into labor, but uh I think all that's
[28:13] straightened out. um within the next
[28:17] month, couple weeks, uh he's going to
[28:21] uh complete the pouring of the concrete
[28:23] for the sidewalks and the foundation for
[28:25] the gazebo and flag pole and all the
[28:29] other adjoining uh uh sidewalks and
[28:32] walkways from the splash pad to the
[28:34] playground to the farmers market and
[28:36] into the main building where the
[28:38] bathrooms are. Um they're al they next
[28:41] week they'll also be raising um the drop
[28:44] inlet uh that we were worried about
[28:47] that's that's low to the ground. Next
[28:49] week they'll be pulling it up uh ground
[28:51] level um and put a smaller grade on top
[28:54] so there won't be any fall hazards there
[28:57] and it'll keep us from having to put up
[28:59] anything that number one we have to pay
[29:02] for and number two is not as attractive
[29:04] as it would be if he does raise it up.
[29:06] Um, and I think I think he's doing the
[29:09] right thing there. I think that's a
[29:11] really really good idea. Um,
[29:14] and then uh he said once the muralist
[29:17] has completed the painting, they will
[29:18] start doing the awning coming off of the
[29:21] building on the the north side over the
[29:24] concrete area where there will
[29:25] eventually be seating um underneath the
[29:28] mural and then the awning on on that
[29:30] site. Um,
[29:33] another thing, and I reached out to the
[29:35] county today, and this is going to be a
[29:37] question that I don't know if you want
[29:39] to answer now or just wait and and see,
[29:43] but is when we're going to shut the
[29:44] splash pad down. Generally, things go
[29:48] from Memorial Day to Labor Day,
[29:51] but also there's going to be days, in my
[29:54] opinion, in September when it could
[29:56] probably be used. October, maybe not.
[29:59] September.
[30:00] I just think we're going to get some
[30:01] kickback. It it probably won't get used
[30:04] as much in the evening because it's
[30:06] going to cool off more. But I don't
[30:08] think that the Labor Day date might or might not be the right time to
[30:14] shut down the splash pad because a lot
[30:16] of times in the month of September
[30:18] during the day it gets up to 80° se high
[30:21] 70s and we can decide what what you want
[30:24] to do with that. that I I reached out to
[30:26] the county to see, and I'll be honest, I
[30:28] did that today. I haven't heard back
[30:31] because on their website, they don't
[30:33] have an official date that they're going
[30:34] to shut the pool down. I didn't know if
[30:36] y'all wanted to coincide with the
[30:38] shutdown of the pool or if you wanted to
[30:40] give, you know, on into September to
[30:42] make a decision because, in my opinion,
[30:44] like I said, there are going to be warm
[30:46] days in September where people are going
[30:48] to want to use that splash pad. So,
[30:51] >> I think the county has always shut the
[30:53] pool down too early. People have
[30:55] complained about that for years.
[30:58] >> Well, I mean, the good thing about it is I mean,
[31:00] >> all we got to do is get in there and
[31:02] turn a lever and put something on
[31:03] Facebook saying, "We left out there,
[31:06] they won't turn it turned on, so you
[31:08] don't really going to lose by leaving
[31:10] it,
[31:10] >> right?
[31:10] >> Just use your judgment about that. Does
[31:12] that mean letting somebody
[31:13] >> But I mean I I would like to have to
[31:16] announce a date at some point in time to
[31:19] where you know they know well this is
[31:21] it. They they told us this was coming
[31:23] instead of getting down there and
[31:25] figuring out that it's not working one
[31:27] day.
[31:27] >> Is the pool at the lake is it having a
[31:31] problem right now?
[31:34] >> Something about
[31:34] >> I think it
[31:38] I don't know. I have I haven't heard any
[31:40] comp starting earlier than it used to.
[31:44] Labor Day was always we shut down later.
[31:49] >> Memorial Day was iffy because a lot of
[31:52] time was cold.
[31:53] >> Yeah.
[31:53] >> It was
[31:55] >> we have a lot a lot more flexibility
[31:57] with the splash pad than you do with the
[31:58] pool.
[31:59] >> Yeah.
[31:59] >> Because it's only getting used it's only
[32:01] getting used when somebody's down there.
[32:04] But, you know, the point I'm getting at
[32:06] is the contractor wants that to be shut
[32:09] down before he comes in to try to do the
[32:11] pavilion because that's going to cause a
[32:14] safety hazard cuz he doesn't want kids
[32:15] going in and out of that splash pad
[32:17] while while they're trying to erect and,
[32:19] you know, nails being dropped and stuff
[32:21] like that. So, that's something that I
[32:23] think we can we can plan for
[32:26] as we go along. Um, and then make a
[32:29] decision. But I I don't in my this is
[32:31] just my opinion as somebody who goes
[32:34] down there on a regular basis. I think
[32:36] it'll get used in September more than a
[32:38] swimming pool would.
[32:41] Um
[32:43] uh also when that happens, that's when
[32:45] the parking will be put in and the
[32:48] lighting portion. and we had talked back
[32:50] and forth and I we can talk as a council
[32:54] about there's a bunch of styles of of
[32:57] lights, pole lights that can be put up
[33:00] down there whether we want hanging
[33:02] basket ones or things like that. we can
[33:04] cross that road. But um cuz he did
[33:07] mention that to me when I talked to him.
[33:08] But the lighting will be a portion of
[33:10] the project after splash pad shut down.
[33:13] So they wouldn't have any problem with.
[33:15] Of course, the playground still going to
[33:16] be open, but you know, it'll be less
[33:18] traffic for them to have to work around
[33:19] and and uh less danger for for the the
[33:23] citizens.
[33:25] Um
[33:26] >> question.
[33:26] >> Yes, sir. Is there going to be any
[33:28] conflict with the sidewalks
[33:32] and underground wiring?
[33:36] >> No.
[33:38] Okay. Not that he's brought to my
[33:40] attention and I've talked to him about all of it.
[33:43] >> Okay. And I don't know if I had
[33:46] mentioned, but that one sidewalk that he
[33:49] has laid out now, if you'll notice,
[33:51] there's I think I may have talked about
[33:53] this. There's a space in between kind of
[33:55] where the drainage goes to the detention
[33:57] pond. That's going to be a bridge going
[33:59] over it. So, it'll be a walkway to a
[34:02] bridge back to the walkway.
[34:04] Um,
[34:07] farmers market. We've scheduled two
[34:08] Friday events. I don't know if this is
[34:11] smart or not smart, but we'll figure it
[34:13] out. I think my initial idea was that it
[34:16] would be a good thing, but Leslie wanted
[34:18] to do them on September 18th and October
[34:21] 16th based on the fact that September
[34:23] 18th is a is homecoming weekend for the
[34:26] Friday football game. So that'd be more
[34:29] people in town possibly to push more
[34:32] people toward the farmers market. And
[34:34] then October 16th is also the date of
[34:37] another home football game. So, um, if
[34:41] we're going to give it a try, let's give it a try. The only thing that
[34:44] I do see that may be a problem with the
[34:46] 18th, and I can probably lean on you
[34:49] with this, if we don't want to make that
[34:51] an official date, is parking at the
[34:54] farmers market with the parade.
[34:57] >> They do the parade in the middle of the
[34:59] week now.
[35:01] >> Yeah, the parade's usually on Wednesday.
[35:04] >> Okay.
[35:05] Then that won't be an issue. Well,
[35:07] then that won't be an issue. For some
[35:08] reason, I was thinking it was on the
[35:09] same Friday as the game.
[35:13] >> Um, yeah, back in the good old days.
[35:15] >> Yeah.
[35:16] >> Uh, the splash pad signs have been
[35:18] ordered. I ordered them exactly like
[35:20] Chill Howie had done. Um, just changed,
[35:23] you know, some of the the signage as far
[35:26] as what Chillh Howi had for them. They
[35:28] were 270 a piece for two signs. Um, and
[35:32] I went ahead and ordered two of them for
[35:34] each gate that goes into the splash pad.
[35:36] So, whichever way you go in, you do know
[35:40] they're aluminum. Um, they recommended
[35:44] doing 3M coating on it because it would
[35:46] last a lot longer and wouldn't wouldn't
[35:48] fade as the the sun and and years go on.
[35:51] So, those have been ordered through
[35:53] Smart Signs, which is who show how he
[35:54] got theirs through.
[35:56] Uh, spoke to the pickle ball contractor.
[35:59] the materials have been ordered um and
[36:02] have yet to come in. Uh we are scheduled
[36:05] to be on his uh to get his guys down
[36:08] here. Uh but they're waiting on the
[36:11] materials to come in. They're also doing
[36:13] a couple projects right now. One
[36:15] sidewalk project and the other one is a
[36:16] pickle ball. And he said he would also
[36:19] price lighting and basketball courts
[36:21] while he's while he's down there doing
[36:22] it, but I have not got that quote yet.
[36:27] Uh the water plant uh the Philipp
[36:29] Springs water plant is running
[36:30] efficiently and the town has figured out
[36:33] which you know we did have a utility
[36:35] committee meeting uh but I just did want
[36:37] to touch on some of our water
[36:38] accountability issues that have occurred
[36:41] in the past. um with the age of Tony Ror
[36:45] who is from Virginia rule water. Uh he
[36:48] came down here we uh we actually have a
[36:52] uh a term contract with them where they
[36:55] come down and find leaks for us if we're
[36:56] having trouble. Uh and he came down no
[36:59] charge to us. Of course we do have a fee that we pay them in dues. Um,
[37:05] but we did find some differences in our
[37:08] numbers that we were reporting for our
[37:10] water accountability and uh, we fixed
[37:13] some of those issues and it's brought
[37:15] our water accountability down and in
[37:17] some instances as much as 20% down. Um,
[37:24] phase 12 of the sidewalk project, uh,
[37:30] I'm sure most of y'all know what I'm
[37:32] talking about. the issue that we're
[37:35] having with this project and really they
[37:38] said that they had ran this through most
[37:41] of their uh
[37:45] most of the other project managers in
[37:47] the throughout the state of Virginia and
[37:49] this is something that they've never
[37:51] really ran across and that is that
[37:54] entrance into the lodge building
[37:56] which makes that right there not ADA
[37:59] compliant.
[38:01] So, what we're trying to figure out is a
[38:02] way to get around
[38:07] that entrance. Um, because, you know,
[38:10] obviously the building has to have an
[38:12] entrance, but the entrance is theirs
[38:14] now, is keeping our sidewalk project
[38:17] from being 100% ADA compliant, which
[38:21] they will not fund a project that is not
[38:23] 100% ADA compliant. Now, there are some
[38:26] options um that we've tal I talked about
[38:30] in the meeting that I had with the uh
[38:33] the engineer and VOTE representatives.
[38:37] Uh and there's some options that that we
[38:40] want to look at and they're going to
[38:40] make a recommendation on which one they
[38:42] want to go with. Um
[38:45] but that is something we're working on.
[38:47] And the big hold up on this has been how
[38:51] to handle that one entrance because it's
[38:53] something that even the most senior
[38:55] project managers had never ran into. Um,
[38:58] and it may be something that we have to
[38:59] get, you know, a contingency of the
[39:02] people
[39:04] ownership of that building together and go over and find out what's the
[39:08] proper way to handle the situation
[39:11] because like I said, obviously they have
[39:12] to have an entrance, but you know, do
[39:14] they want to move the sidewalk out? do
[39:16] they want to tear it down? And there's
[39:18] just just options that we don't know
[39:20] what the answer to is yet. Um
[39:26] uh then the last thing I have um is
[39:31] there's another joint meeting Monday,
[39:34] August the 31st
[39:36] uh at the Wiffville
[39:39] uh meeting center.
[39:45] That's all I have unless you have any
[39:47] questions.
[39:47] >> 7 o'clock, right?
[39:50] >> Got an email today.
[39:53] I'll get that for you in just a minute.
[39:55] >> I think it's
[39:59] » um I will I will say this as well. Uh
[40:02] just in case uh anybody complains, I
[40:06] I'll let them know that that I'm the one
[40:08] that did it. Uh there was a lot of signs
[40:13] in the rightway that are not there now.
[40:16] Um [clears throat]
[40:18] if anybody complains that they don't
[40:21] have their signs, they are stored at the
[40:23] town shop.
[40:24] Um and I also talked to a couple people
[40:27] about mowing into the road and they said
[40:31] they would remedy the situation, but
[40:32] we'll keep an eye on that.
[40:37] You ever found out through
[40:41] >> teleport? He I called him twice this
[40:43] week and he still ain't called me back.
[40:55] » Mr.
[40:57] Have we g ever gi Have we ever given any
[41:01] more thought to purchasing the lodge
[41:05] building?
[41:06] >> No, sir. It's never been brought up, but
[41:08] it's not something, you know, any time.
[41:14] >> I will say, Mr. Lewis, that that was one
[41:17] of the options that was talked about.
[41:22] I think it's that it deserves
[41:25] consideration.
[41:28] Um,
[41:33] I don't think we should I think we
[41:36] should make an offer
[41:39] or at least consult
[41:42] with the owners of that building to see
[41:46] what
[41:48] arrangements could be made for purchase.
[41:53] I think it would I I think it would
[41:55] benefit us
[41:58] to own that piece of property if we're
[42:02] going to have an event center next door.
[42:07] I I don't think there's much we could do
[42:09] with the property
[42:11] other than demolish the building to make
[42:14] a park.
[42:17] I think we should give that some
[42:19] consideration.
[42:21] Would
[42:23] you like for me to reach out to an
[42:24] appraiser?
[42:26] >> Would you like for me to reach out to
[42:28] stepping in here? That's ain't going to
[42:30] be no problem to ask right now. Then the master of the lodge is sitting
[42:35] beside me here. So, let's He's right.
[42:40] Bob's right. Let's Let's
[42:42] get that out. What they got to have and
[42:44] all that. Let's pursue it. Uh
[42:48] >> let me let me talk to V dot cuz um quite
[42:52] honestly that was one of the options
[42:54] that was mentioned to me
[42:57] >> sure that it would be listed
[42:59] >> but
[43:01] let me see how they recommend or if they
[43:05] have any issue or any guidance on the
[43:08] way that needs to happen.
[43:12] Okay.
[43:15] » Raw retreat was built
[43:19] around the horse.
[43:23] » It's come back
[43:24] >> and it's it seriously it's come back.
[43:27] Yes, sir.
[43:28] >> But the streets were not designed for
[43:32] automobile travel. I I New York City had
[43:36] to do the same thing because at one time
[43:38] the way they dealt with the road apples
[43:41] they were called street sweepers
[43:44] and they dumped it in the river it
[43:46] killed the river.
[43:48] >> So yes it's it's a matter of history
[43:52] >> but part of the the big problem with the town it was built around the
[43:58] horse.
[43:59] So, you know, we there's nothing no need
[44:03] wine and whatever like that and it it's
[44:06] just what it was and and my living
[44:10] memory there were still a lot of horses
[44:12] that traveled when I was a kid. And
[44:18] so, in other words, we we will I know
[44:21] that the that the Masons will
[44:24] if you don't ask, you can't be told
[44:27] anything. So, we'll ask and then we'll
[44:30] go from there.
[44:33] So, with that said, so we don't drag
[44:35] that. We don't have any information yet.
[44:37] But Bob, it's a good suggestion and that
[44:40] uh we need to probably put that in
[44:44] unfinished business, don't you think?
[44:48] To the discussion. I mean, that that way
[44:51] we won't forget. We have been known to
[44:53] forget. Get tied up in the moment. So,
[44:57] with that said, we like we'll see that
[44:59] and we'll
[45:02] be hard to find somebody to talk to.
[45:06] >> I imagine not.
[45:10] >> Okay.
[45:11] >> I will say this as well. Um, we might be
[45:15] able to
[45:17] use that money in kind
[45:20] as our 20%.
[45:24] Basically, basically what you're saying,
[45:26] basically V dot uh projects are 8020 80
[45:31] v.20 US.
[45:33] >> Um we may be able to use that as in kind
[45:36] money saying, you know, we spent our 20%
[45:39] on land acquisition to keep the project
[45:43] moving. Uh and that be our 20%. I don't know if if we can do it that
[45:48] way, but I know that there has been
[45:50] inind money. It's called in kind money,
[45:53] but it it's basically money upfront that
[45:55] you've used to keep the project going uh
[45:57] as a town to cover your 20%.
[45:59] >> Those are all things that need to be
[46:02] looked into.
[46:03] >> Right. But that I just want to that that
[46:05] is a possibility.
[46:07] >> Not let the ball be dropped and thus
[46:10] miss an opportunity.
[46:11] >> That's right. Now's the time. That's
[46:13] right. That it is.
[46:17] Okay.
[46:19] any other issues?
[46:22] If there's not, we get lucky to
[46:26] do current report.
[46:28] >> Have they seen those? Have you all seen
[46:31] these?
[46:39] » And that meeting is at 6:00.
[46:48] » All right. The following checks were
[46:50] wrote. Um, Atmas Energy, $121.
[46:55] Blue Ridge Analytical, $2,631.
[46:59] BMS Direct, $453.56,
[47:05] Brent Tag Midsouth, $1,50.
[47:09] Brightspeed, $1,56,866.
[47:14] Klein's Auto Service $2,15.17
[47:19] Electronic Systems $6227
[47:24] Hurt and Profit $2575
[47:28] Parkway Gas $3,226.34
[47:33] RNR Enterprises $500
[47:37] Smart Design Contracting and Consulting
[47:41] $1,120
[47:44] Southwest Pest Control $60. Southwestern
[47:47] Equipment $5141.12
[47:51] Utility Service Company $16,72724
[47:58] WBRF
[48:00] FM $1,000
[48:03] WME FMAM $500 and Worldwide Equipment
[48:08] $2,124.86.
[48:10] 86.
[48:13] » Okay.
[48:16] Southwest
[48:19] Community Center.
[48:20] >> Mhm.
[48:22] >> There you go.
[48:23] >> No answer.
[48:24] >> What vehicle did we spend $2,000 on this
[48:27] time?
[48:29] >> Yours. Tires or something?
[48:31] >> Tires and roads and boats.
[48:41] You don't have to put that on.
[48:45] I was involved in procedure.
[48:57] The tires was gone and brakes. So I held
[49:00] off on the rotors long enough for the
[49:02] brakes.
[49:07] wasn't a 20-y old vehicle.
[49:10] I rushed it through.
[49:16] I have one more question.
[49:18] >> Yes, ma'am.
[49:18] >> Um,
[49:20] anything
[49:22] going on with the
[49:24] properties,
[49:26] >> the tax sales?
[49:27] >> Yeah.
[49:29] Um,
[49:33] did do you have a do you remember seeing
[49:35] Monica's TACS
[49:37] uh
[49:38] >> contact in there where she'd had
[49:40] conversations with them?
[49:42] >> We'll we'll look through old emails and
[49:44] find out who Monica had contact with and
[49:46] call if we can cuz it was my
[49:49] understanding they were supposed to have
[49:50] been advertised. Um, and
[49:55] there's some other issues that we have
[49:58] to where
[50:00] I think some things need to be changed
[50:02] through that tax system cuz basically
[50:05] they're sending these people uh
[50:08] collection notices and it's really not
[50:11] telling them what the collection is for.
[50:14] um some of the other localities that use
[50:16] tax for some reason they list say you're getting delinquent taxes and
[50:21] we've ran into this several times on a
[50:24] 2006 Nissan and a 2017
[50:27] Suburban. this does not break down what
[50:31] they're and that needs to be changed in
[50:33] my opinion cuz these people are calling
[50:35] us saying but what are these taxes for
[50:38] you know what am I paying for you know
[50:40] and I'm not going to pay this because
[50:41] they don't see that yes this was a
[50:43] vehicle that I that I owned during that
[50:47] time frame so they're not they're
[50:48] telling us we've had we've had several
[50:51] conversations over the phone so I need
[50:53] to reach out to them anyway to get that
[50:55] fixed and I'll ask that question but
[50:57] we've got to change. And me and her and
[51:00] Carolyn uh had t me and Locky and
[51:03] Carolyn had talked about we've got to
[51:05] get the wording on the how they're
[51:08] sending out to our customers. It's got to list what they're actually
[51:15] going after taxes for because and I
[51:17] understand that. I mean, if I just got a sheet with a with a number on it, not
[51:22] itemized, I I would wonder what they're
[51:25] sending it to me for. So, I need to have
[51:28] conversation with him anyway. So, I'll
[51:29] ask that question.
[51:31] >> I have one more question, Mr. Mayor. I
[51:34] know he's perfectly legal and he has a
[51:37] business license,
[51:40] but the Crossroads Garage,
[51:43] it seems to keep growing.
[51:46] And uh I was told that he was planning
[51:51] to move this business, but I don't see
[51:54] that happening in some time has passed
[51:57] since I was told that. But it's a mess
[52:00] out there.
[52:02] >> I said something to him the other day
[52:03] about down there.
[52:06] Yeah, they got a bunch of
[52:08] >> I mean I I was in the understanding that
[52:10] as that the like cars were going to come
[52:13] go out of there over time, but I don't
[52:16] think
[52:16] >> it's not happening.
[52:18] >> Who owns that property now? Is the man
[52:21] there?
[52:21] >> No, Mr. Bales. Yeah, Mr. Bales own
[52:28] her husband used to run the uh tool
[52:31] truck.
[52:32] >> Oh,
[52:33] >> okay. Yeah,
[52:38] » Bob, is there a limit?
[52:43] you can stole outside the garage?
[52:45] >> But there
[52:47] >> is noticed
[52:49] >> the problem is Well,
[52:53] it it wouldn't be grandfathered in
[52:54] because the ownership has changed. The ownership
[52:59] has changed. If it was still the
[53:00] original owner, it would be
[53:01] grandfathered in. But there is in our
[53:03] zoning something called a uh automobile
[53:07] junkyard or
[53:10] uh
[53:11] something like that. And and there is a number on that zoning as far
[53:16] as how many vehicles are considered.
[53:19] >> Um it looks like a junkyard.
[53:20] >> Well, the thing is and it's different
[53:22] than than I know we've I know we've had
[53:25] issues in the past, but it's different
[53:27] than uh Mr. Klein down here cuz Mr.
[53:29] Klein has vehicles coming in and out.
[53:31] So, I mean, you know, it's a service. I
[53:34] don't see a service there other than
[53:37] just storage.
[53:38] >> There's a large amount of big ones on
[53:39] there. Yeah. They're not turned over.
[53:43] >> Who can afford that many?
[53:47] >> Unless they belong to somebody else and
[53:48] they're paying rent on it. That makes
[53:50] sense.
[53:51] >> Well, he was in off the highway. He's
[53:54] charging
[53:56] >> charge an insurance company a fee to
[53:58] store.
[53:59] >> Yeah. Well,
[54:01] >> I mean this Billy down here, he's got
[54:04] car.
[54:08] » I don't know.
[54:10] >> We think Don't you have to have lots and
[54:15] just
[54:20] » Yeah, it has to be
[54:22] a story.
[54:23] >> Yeah, he's got a story.
[54:25] >> To be in a building, but it's supposed
[54:28] to be in
[54:31] Yeah, he's got to finish in there.
[54:36] » Yeah, that's overflow lot.
[54:39] >> But anyway, my my point is
[54:42] >> I remember you checking on that.
[54:44] >> It's growing.
[54:45] >> Yeah, it's not getting small.
[54:47] >> Nothing's happening there.
[54:48] >> Okay.
[54:49] >> It can't grow.
[54:50] >> Yeah. Somebody had reported one time
[54:52] that he was moving on. That was that was I talked to the guy who works
[54:57] for him there and he said they were
[54:59] moving to a place out on 16 somewhere.
[55:03] >> Uh but that's been months ago.
[55:08] >> Yeah.
[55:08] >> It's been at least it's been at least a
[55:10] year.
[55:10] >> Nothing's happened.
[55:12] >> It might be something we need to talk to
[55:15] about
[55:19] might get some action.
[55:22] >> Okay. Any other questions? Don't want to
[55:26] leave anybody else. Okay. your own
[55:29] advice to the
[55:34] don't move guy.
[55:41] love you.
