[1:59] forward with the formal naming process of Quarry Park as the proposed name.

[2:05] Um, under the city's policy for naming public publicly owned facilities, that

[2:10] process requires a 30-day public notice period. Uh, the notice of the proposed

[2:15] time uh, and tonight's public hearing was published in the New Era on July

[2:19] 29th. Uh, staff has not received any public comments uh, to date. So, tonight

[2:24] gives council the opportunity to uh, hear any public testimony regarding the

[2:28] proposed name uh, and then make a formal decision. So, if council approves

[2:34] resolution uh, number 17 for 2026 the property would be officially named

[2:40] uh, Quarry Park. As far as financial impacts, there's

[2:43] really no immediate financial impact. Um, in the future, there could be, you

[2:48] know, signage and things like that that would need probably need to be in the

[2:51] park. Um, but uh, it's also uh,

[2:55] noteworthy that uh, formal adoption of the name also would not prevent future

[3:01] sponsor- sponsorship opportunities or even future renaming if council chose to

[3:06] do so. So, following the public hearing,

[3:10] um, staff's recommendation would be to approve this resolution.

[4:51] services agreement with Miller, Castleton and Flynn for city prosecutor

[4:57] services. So as you're all aware, on July 14th, after a work session, staff

[5:03] issued separate uh solicitations for the city attorney related services including

[5:10] an R uh RFP for uh specifically for the city

[5:15] prosecution services. Uh so we received two responses and Miller, Castleton and

[5:20] Flynn was the highest scoring firm. Uh this agreement provides for Catherine

[5:26] Pratt to serve as the city prosecutor with a flat fee of $4,500 a month for

[5:32] prosecution services. Uh the scope includes municipal court

[5:36] criminal cases, uh court appearances and trials, coordination with the PD and

[5:42] municipal court, victim and witness communication, discovery, case

[5:47] management, and then other related administrative responsibilities.

[5:51] Uh the agreement runs through August 30th of 2028 with the opportunity for up

[5:57] to three additional one-year extensions. Um and the full scope of services is in

[6:02] your packet uh and staff recommends uh approval of the agreement with

[6:08] uh this particular firm to uh do our prosecuting.

[7:03] council actual action approving the equipment and services contracts for the

[7:07] water treatment plant generators project.

[7:10] » Yeah, Madam Mayor and council, um this one's pretty exciting as

[7:15] uh you're aware the uh water treatment plant generators are one of the council

[7:20] goals for the 26-27 year. Under the viable and sustainable service

[7:26] essential services, um and so um and you're all aware we've been working

[7:31] to secure uh these generators uh to get connected down there. Uh so we

[7:38] did um as you're also aware get a uh grant for these generators. There is a

[7:43] local city match, which has already been budgeted for.

[7:46] Uh so, basically, the work for council tonight is just a um

[7:51] um take a look at and uh we have two

[7:54] agreements, basically. We have an agreement with uh TAG, uh which would

[7:58] provide the generators and automatic transfer switches along with the

[8:02] controls, electrical work, and so on um for installation of these generators uh

[8:08] in the amount of $818,124. And then the second agreement would be

[8:13] with Landis Consulting for the engineering and professional services

[8:18] associated with the project. So, it would include electrical design,

[8:22] uh some limited construction support, uh and and other things that go along

[8:27] with that. So, in that uh Landis agreement is a time and materials not to

[8:31] exceed $128,718.

[8:37] So, together, uh the two agreements uh total $946,842.

[8:43] Um and these both of these contracts would move the city forward with the

[8:47] design, procurement, and installation required

[8:51] for the work needed to to get these generators connected and up and running.

[8:56] So, and staff obviously recommends the approval of both agreements.

[9:04] » I yes, I have a question. What's the estimated time of completion when those

[9:10] generators will be working and able to uh

[9:13] » So, yeah, we're still a ways out. I don't remember the exact time. Do you

[9:18] remember, Susan? >> It's about 9 months for the purchase of

[9:20] the generators, and then probably another month to 3 months for

[9:23] construction. So, about a year out, then. Yeah. Correct. But, we just

[9:26] received a 2-year extension from the feds. So, we have no concerns with the

[9:30] timeline.

[15:25] And finally, I was just going to mention um we have our 20th annual Harvest

[15:30] Festival coming up that first Saturday, October 3rd um from

[15:35] 11:00 to 4:00 at Sankey Park. So, would love to see the community there. Uh it's

[15:45] the time and effort into coordinating that.
