[2:38] 277 calls for the month they had five criminal arrests nineteen related

[2:45] traffic incidences nine citizens locked out of cars 31 stops for violations

[2:51] which resulted in five traffic citations and 26 warnings to citizens assisted non

[2:58] traffic to ordinance violations seven court hearings all of which were

[3:03] criminal and the chief just wanted everybody to know schools back in

[3:07] session watch out for the kids the bus is obviously the guys are out in the

[3:12] mornings and in the after school patrol and making sure everybody's

[3:16] stopped and especially on 322 if now the bus is coming to East and you're going

[3:20] west and it's not divided you have to stop so you just want to make sure

[3:24] everybody knew about that he also want to mention with the roundabout just give

[3:28] yourself a little extra time the traveling through there be cautious of

[3:31] the workers fines aren't doubled along with the license suspension in the

[3:35] construction zone and finally please obtain your burning permit before you

[3:39] burn and that's what the chief wanted us to mention one of the benches for the

[4:57] supervisors August finally wrapped up a lot of big projects we worked on manual

[5:03] risers prior to the paving projects patch potholes on both the blacktop and

[5:08] gravel roads stalled gravel along North Watson Run Road around the mailboxes and

[5:13] driveways until the shorter backup was installed installed the shoulder ditch

[5:18] Bank rehab on some steep ditches on North Watson around and on Reynolds

[5:23] roads we cut and cleaned the berms under the guide rails at the header bridge on

[5:28] sportsmen road continued mounting berms and boom link brush second third passes

[5:35] back check roads after wind rain storms a locked on the 16th of 19th to 21st

[5:41] 22nd cleaned up load it down trees somewhere west burnin keeper Hill Van

[5:48] Horn Turner alley Lincoln Avenue and the trail by the on the trail by the ball

[5:54] field number two cleaned clogged pipes on Glenn Street Reynolds cotton and beer

[6:01] edema of West Brannon Road cross pipe Moe's depend on driver exam center and

[6:06] the cutter Road Township luck ditch cleaning on middle road cutter Stevens

[6:11] and Van Horn installed a new driveway pipe on Siemens drive for Anderson's

[6:17] install a new industrial drive sign doubt the aptX facility and IRA for the

[6:22] EPA pups Asbury Township with spray patching

[6:26] for a day on equipment maintenance the John Deere Tiger blue motor installed

[6:31] new blades and motor skid truck five repaired to wiring to the hydraulic pump

[6:36] and I don't have it on my report but though we did get the bill for a truck 3

[6:40] I believe it's done had a lot of major work done on it to keep it in business

[6:45] for another year on the 2019 paving projects Sharon paving paved middle road

[6:51] north watson run rogers ferry roads the project is not completed

[6:55] and everybody seems to be very pleased the job another nice job by Sharon

[6:59] paving it's glad we had them this year Lindy paving paid the community block

[7:04] grant project those words were half a Reynolds Hank Street Vernon Vernon hikes

[7:10] Glen and Dunham Hill rivets that project has also been completed we had to repair

[7:16] a couple spots and they took care of that or they took care of the couple

[7:20] spots and everybody's very pleased up there on the hill great any questions

[7:28] very little light do you love thank you our viewing audience wasn't here for the

[7:34] work session last time when a gentleman came in and said I've got a great job

[7:38] that baby did on one particular remedy said it was like just beautiful just

[7:41] like last and that's a good road department and good supervision like job

[7:51] friend uh between pipelines and Tyler's trailer upper that big one yet they want

[7:57] word goes into that that's about the only one I could think of that would end

[8:00] yeah yeah we we had Charles about a week with that dog we had to go back two or

[8:04] three times and now quit so hopefully it's they got discouraged and moved on

[8:14] yeah that's always fun cool all right we've been into administration zoning

[8:20] Rob good evening supervisors August was a tremendous month for the zoning office

[8:25] I issued ten zoning permits and to sign permits resolving in nine thousand nine

[8:30] hundred and seventy two seventy two dollars and fees from the township this

[8:34] brings our yearly total and fees collected to forty one thousand one

[8:37] hundred and seven dollars it's been a great year for construction in the

[8:40] township on his lot mentioned in his report all

[8:43] our major road projects for the year have been completed I'd really like to

[8:46] take a second thank god Scott Bobby and Larry for all the work they did this

[8:50] year these are some major projects that involved a lot of Road prep to get them

[8:54] ready for the contractors to come in the day lighting to low notes on these

[8:58] projects started a year ago and continued throughout the winter and

[9:00] spring and I mean these roads are look great now

[9:04] and so I really have to commend them for the job they did in regards to the cdbg

[9:08] paving project I've been working with the county to wrap up the paperwork for

[9:12] that grant project on August 14th I attended meeting with officials from the

[9:15] city of Meadville and must meet Township to receive a briefing on the Meadville

[9:18] Area Recreation Authority's proposed baseball facility project as these three

[9:25] minutes families that support tomorrow they want to make sure that all the

[9:27] municipalities knew this project was feasible with private donations and

[9:31] grants would not require any additional financial support from the

[9:33] municipalities as we're moving into the fall now it's time to start talking

[9:38] about the 2020 budget for the first step in this is our minimal minimal minimum

[9:42] municipal obligations for all Township pension plans as required by state law

[9:47] for 2020 this past month I've worked with our action area forum Dunbar bender

[9:53] and Zapp to determine these numbers for the police pension fund our FML oh it's

[9:57] zero for the non-uniform completely defined benefit plan or MMO as one

[10:02] hundred and seventy one thousand six hundred twenty eight dollars for the

[10:05] non-uniformed employee defined contribution plan or MMO is $7,500 these

[10:11] numbers will be used in the 2020 budget which we will be getting to work on

[10:15] later this month finally I'd like to mention the French Creek Council of

[10:18] Governments which we belong to is holding an entire collection event on

[10:22] Saturday September 14th this will be held at the Crawford County Fairgrounds

[10:26] and gate 1 from 8 a.m. to noon or until the collection capacity is reached

[10:30] they'll be taking only clean car and small truck tires without rims the fee

[10:36] is $2.00 per tire a limit of 12 tires per vehicle this is open to Crawford

[10:41] County residents only an additional detail details can be found at French

[10:45] Creek kaga work and that's my report for tonight thank you any questions for us

[10:55] yeah I've wanted to bring up one thing and I know Rob's

[11:00] heard about it too and it's about Rocha Park and it's something that's kind of

[11:06] been in the back of my mind for a year or more we really don't have like a

[11:11] five-year 3 5 year plan or target for the most thing that we're doing there's

[11:17] pretty much keeping it open to cutting the grass we really don't have a

[11:20] long-range plan on doing some improvements one thing it comes to mind

[11:25] is the big-league field that we do not use and hasn't been used in possibility

[11:31] of a partial dog park or something but I've had several people call me

[11:36] concerned about you know the grass is cut but the trimmings not done people

[11:42] over the years of donated flowers put them in but they're not being weeded and

[11:46] all and I think with the budget coming up that we ought to address that and see

[11:52] if we shouldn't be maybe trying to here mark a little more money towards that

[11:56] direction I mean that's that's our baby here I

[11:59] mean we were so proud of that I mean you just go down there on the weekend and

[12:03] the shelter's there they're rented you know every weekend and I just think that

[12:10] we should be giving that a little more attention

[12:11] maybe form a committee I know I would help out on it maybe rob and get a

[12:16] couple people or something from the outside and try to come up with a plan

[12:19] how we can move forward with that we you know we we do give money to the mark and

[12:27] I'm not saying take anything away from there but we have our own

[12:31] responsibilities here we have Lincoln Avenue

[12:34] besides the Curt town Park and then of course Roche Park where I think that we

[12:40] we need to you know put some effort into putting a forward plan on that because I

[12:46] mean would you have known or would you agree with me we really I'll be next

[12:51] year what do we have plans with right the past couple of years has kind of

[12:55] been a year at a time a lot of us has just yeah maintenance we haven't really

[12:58] put any work into approve of I agree I think we should put together somewhat of

[13:02] a three or five hundred plan goers because you can get away from us we lost

[13:05] a couple of that when you are the carvings I think the Indian and stuff

[13:10] like that net that's fine that happens I mean that stuff dies out ever and falls

[13:17] down but you know we don't have any kind of

[13:19] iseman and aligned in blacktopping or anything like that

[13:23] additional I know with the Brom property we what is the status now on the gazebo

[13:28] it's ordered and the road department shall be put in the base in this month

[13:32] and will be another I don't I mean do you guys have any other comment on that

[13:38] that we don't use a Vulcan at all not the big league field no it had there's

[13:42] no big league teams plenty play now I mean you might see some kids running

[13:46] around on it but currently the only I think they use it for some practices

[13:51] they use it as a practice field and then right now for instance the past I think

[13:56] three years the YMCA has been doing soccer there in the fall on the big

[13:59] league field they kind of divided into two or three fields as you saw girlie

[14:03] would it be better to make two soccer fields out of it or to configure it for

[14:07] swaha yeah Little League field er I think I think there's got something we

[14:13] should look into a committee idea is a great idea they'd like to be on okay

[14:16] purpose of needs and it just yeah you can't do it overnight but you know

[14:23] that's a big spot down there and there's so many people with walk dogs and dog

[14:27] parks are so popular right now everywhere you go they're being put in

[14:30] and you know not that whole thing but you partition something to offer

[14:34] whatever and I just think there's a lot of property there it's just being mowed

[14:39] right at the moment you know dampen care something always ready yeah alright so

[14:48] yeah I just think we shouldn't yeah move forward with Roach Park I mean that's

[14:54] just a great place like Google foot something to work this month maybe you

[14:57] have something for the works I should kind of put something a little bit of a

[15:00] committee together to work session like you said it's a perfect time to do it

[15:03] because we can work on it throughout winter and then get started you know

[15:08] running I think some people out there watching us I agree I agree minutes I

[15:13] think you know something on the defense or offense I

[15:17] should say not the defense okay that's good to be proactive correct that's

[15:43] on our funding for masters planning they'll partially fund the master plan

[16:00] miss powers that we work with on a plans certain it's great or set up the

[16:04] long-term planning and it involves the township State Quarter meeting existing

[16:08] homeowners calling of all other than that report that there's as everybody's

[16:14] aware there's ongoing construction in a Township not only in the roundabout but

[16:18] the adjacent buildings and buildings up and down the corridor this month has

[16:23] been somewhat a struggle for some of those phases because in Arrangements

[16:27] we've had and had follow up with contractors they've been very good at at

[16:32] policing their sites and keeping things cleaned up we anticipate that will

[16:37] continue well into the fall and winter and then we'll get ready for it all

[16:42] again next next summer so looks like we we continue this construction for as

[16:48] long as I can see right now that's good good it's all I have any questions for

[18:43] that didn't come to the meeting and didn't come the work session on the

[18:49] public comments they said I didn't want to be singled out they were embarrassed

[18:53] to be on TV well you don't have to have that problem you can come to work

[18:58] session just not televised and it's very very informal coming your blue jeans and

[19:02] your baseball caps and your t-shirts cuz Johnny have masoor anyway but die if you

[19:06] do have a problem with a unit Township with a row Department police department

[19:10] building whatever feel free to call me or call the Township building and if you

[19:15] asked it will be held in confidence and so just to keep you informed but you do

[19:21] have a voice we want to make this place even better so you call me at five seven

[20:02] wouldn't be as efficient as it is I just want to thank everybody else involved

[20:06] and see that they get recognized a little bit for all that they do very

[20:54] there today and I know there's been numerous so please be careful getting

[21:00] through that take your time and it's a it should be behind us here and what

[21:07] November first I guess the end of October but that's really all I have

[21:12] shaping up for sure yeah great well for it's pretty much in it I was they said

[21:20] it was going to avoid that at all cost but I've purposely been traveling

[21:23] through the roundabout and it's things seem to be going pretty smoothly yes

[21:26] it's nice that it's open is a single lane for more of the learning curve

[21:30] before you know the two lanes everything goes through but I was curious as well

[21:36] as frets we usually are but what's going on up there accident wise but you know I

[21:41] really have them in here know what I expected to figure up to five yeah it's

[21:49] gonna happen I guess so yeah that my main concern really is you know just be

[21:55] careful going through there is we're gonna all figure this one out together

[22:06] to thank specifically Fritzing Gary for working on the police contract I

[22:12] understand that went really smoothly and it was pretty just smooth with our

[22:20] police and the supervisors there they got a what they wanted and we're able to

[22:27] work with it so I just like to say Gary had kind of delete I thought it was

[22:32] being led by my hand there on this first time through Gary really uh he knows

[22:39] what it's doing it we had several very good police department right and

[22:43] they were very amicable that we never even raised our voice in the entire

[22:47] negotiations perfect no to you know to do that without any hostilities very

[22:56] commendable and I'd like to welcome Amanda contraband into a full-time

[23:00] position I understand she's been doing a terrific job and really looking forward

[23:06] to having her full-time and thank Armstrong utilities for being here this

[23:12] evening and at that would make the coffin motion to adjourn so moved
