[12:04] trying to look at the overall ordinance for the city of Walled Lake in

[12:08] comparison to the surrounding cities you have some additional information on that

[12:15] correct yes that's correct all right basically this issue came as

[12:29] as attorneys of an area is summarized in the memo the fact that this EBA there

[12:35] have been some instances in which people are required to go receive a variance

[12:41] because they'd like to have any Sigma uniform six foot high fence for the

[12:48] property to secure their their rear yards and that need to includes the side

[12:52] yards and that usually means that our organs doesn't allow it

[13:00] our owners requires the fence to step down to four and a half feet in the side

[13:06] yards most other communities do have a uniform fence to allow for the securing

[13:16] of mainly access to that side yard if someone has a side door so that's why

[13:22] some and because it allows for the property owner to

[13:27] better function utilize theirs their property it's secure and mainly also for

[13:32] their had their pets and animals they can make sure that there they can't let

[13:38] them out and not have to worry about them video so it's it is pretty common

[13:42] to have that kind of allowance for side yards okay and then what would we be

[13:51] receiving in order for us to rate that first of all the discussion then request

[14:00] came to the Planning Commission it was referred to the planning City Council is

[14:06] the planners indicated that was the that the issue regarding the laki uniformity

[14:13] between the next site height in the rear and the side yard was sort of the

[14:17] impetus that brought but but City Council referred the entire fan

[14:24] smartness basically to the Planning Commission to look at that issue and

[14:30] basically the entire offense ordinance and in its entirety

[14:36] areas of the ordinance that could be improved upon as well and brought up to

[14:42] date I know one of the issues that one of the council members brought up was

[14:48] under the the current defense ordinance there can be no decorative fence any

[14:54] lakefront job if there is no principle structure of

[15:00] the leaf right here and some of the some of the people head there

[15:03] if their house one side of the street then they have a lakefront access parcel

[15:10] on the other side of the street and people who have their house on the

[15:16] lakefront parcel are allowed to have decorative fences whereas the people who

[15:22] have their house on the other side of the street you just have to clear the

[15:26] clear line can't have different offenses so so that issue came up for the

[15:31] Planning Commission to take a look at as well so it's pretty much a talk about a

[15:36] review on the integramouse ordinance um there may be other improvements that

[15:41] could be made upon it you know the planning consultants recommendation I

[15:47] think the next step would be for the planning consultants who either need to

[15:53] make some proposed text amendments or maybe bring back a memo or something the

[15:58] next meeting to their other areas that

[16:04] my mission to you yeah okay I appreciate in one area that has been brought to my

[16:11] attention that being requested was the to examine the ordinance and term this

[16:18] is forgiven offense and the link law offenses is to look at the comparison of

[16:22] know by in terms of thought that would be called outbuilding ignore like their

[16:29] quad I like storage you know buildings are you know so I'm have like

[16:36] entertainment buildings on my leg lots is to match like the know by side you

[16:41] know a lot of the people probably aggressive it asks a lot of questions

[16:56] recommendations that it wants to the City Council regarding them any

[17:05] Planning Commission does that study and then finalizes the it's process with a

[17:13] recommendation to City Council that it goes through City Council and and then

[17:17] City Council makes the final call as to whether or not to adopt the Planning

[17:21] Commission recommendation in or and part or or me to do something completely

[17:25] different so okay so like if you looked at same time and then you said that yeah

[17:30] yeah I think you could probably include that any recommendation if you've

[17:34] thought about appropriate and that's to match you know so my three court the

[17:38] other side of the lake is allows that and the decorative fencing and where

[17:42] they've done correctly can mean drastic improvements to properties a lot I would

[28:03] doorway I have no problem with him I don't have any friends that come up here

[28:15] because none of my friends have ever come up here but I'm here to record a

[28:19] meeting and stream it to the people that physically cannot be here or cannot be

[29:21] time to a lot of people to be able to do that oh yeah why why are they nervous

[29:40] it's public influence it's a public meeting right here I'm in a public

[29:46] building on public land in America you know it's picking up my belongings

[30:05] packing up my stuff and he comes up and confronts me I was wrapping up a

[30:10] conversation on my cell phone through texting and he comes up and he confronts

[30:15] me about recording conversations illegally and that's a felony in that my

[30:20] lawyers are gonna get them off like dude I have no interest in your conversations

[30:25] I'm just leaving for the last year and a half I've always recorded till I leave

[30:29] the premises you can't you absolutely can you have every right to so this is
