[45:21] for next summer for the pool. Um it's a state department of health

[45:27] grant that we were sent that we're eligible to apply for.

[45:37] We currently pay for all these things out of Health First Indiana funds. Um

[45:40] we've depleted all lines this year. in those areas. Well, we didn't do life

[45:46] jackets or some lessons. That's something new we want to add

[46:54] » So the Warren County Health Coalition is proposing to um install about 10 to 20

[47:00] 98 um suicide and crisis line signs throughout Warren County. Um, this

[47:07] initiative is mainly focused on increasing awareness of the crisis line

[47:13] um and to strengthen suicide prevention efforts throughout the county. We did

[47:18] reach out to the county coroner um the county parks board chair as well as

[47:24] niches and they have all expressed their support of this initiative.

[47:30] The signs themselves will be geared from uh the state. So it they are

[47:37] managed through um FSSA and DHMA. So we will cover the costs if any

[47:44] through the health department.

[49:22] have a trailer that is uh twofold to be pulled. Um, the FEP grant, it's filled

[49:29] with supplies we have to buy if we're going to have an emergency. So flooding,

[49:32] tornadoes, um, other counties could call on us to help. Um, so for instance, our

[49:38] trailer is filled with tables and chairs and stansions to run any kind of um,

[49:42] line through. There's nursing supplies in there. um

[49:47] cones um because we can only spend that money on certain things. And so when we

[49:53] got our new pot of money, we decided that we thought we could purchase a new

[49:57] trailer to fill because we're only growing. So in our health department, we

[50:01] have a generator. We have a walkthrough tent that we have nowhere to go. They're

[50:04] just in our building because we're also lacking storage. So um these both of

[50:11] these things would fit on that trailer. This trailer has an area for the

[50:13] generator. Um, I also know em we could partner with EMA because they are

[50:17] looking at a trailer this size as well. This could turn into a command center

[50:21] where we could partner together. Um, that's why it's so large. No, we do not

[50:26] have a vehicle to pull it. Um, we would partner the hospital has a truck if we

[50:31] needed to partner with them to help us pull it. We could talk with the highway

[50:35] to help us pull it and if we needed if it's an e situation, Robert has a

[50:39] vehicle that's large enough to pull this trailer. Um, so that's why we went with

[50:44] the trailer. Um, >> you think a Taho a half ton's not big

[50:49] enough to pull it? You think? >> I personally don't know.

[50:53] » I would say the 14,000 lb capacity trailer.

[51:03] effect that it needed to get there. So,

[51:08] so the way we're setting up the trailer, um, this one's going to have

[51:14] the generator unit in it. It's going to have a firebox in it. So, as soon as we

[51:19] could get the site, we also, this last with the last budget, we purchased a 13

[51:24] by 26 popup tent that could be a drive-thru vaccination, a warming

[51:29] station. I mean, we can we have fans that we can cool. So, this with the

[51:36] partnership of anything. If this trailer, if we needed assistance to

[51:39] people and we needed a large capacity where we could get several people in, we

[51:44] could hook up this trailer probably within 30 to 45 minutes. We could have a

[51:48] tent up, generator running, lights. We have tower lights that we have. I mean,

[51:54] we can provide some serious shelter for people in a hurry with the way we're

[51:59] setting this trailer up. We're putting it'll be when we take the tent and

[52:04] things out, we can make it, you know, it'll be we can have CS in it, shelter,

[52:09] and all different types of stuff >> where you can store it at.

[52:15] I'm kind of thinking that we would just put it on the farthest side underneath

[52:20] the awning there at the health office because that way we would be able to

[52:25] access it because with the smaller trailer um to go do the smaller

[52:30] functions at the park program and things like that if we needed to. We could we

[52:34] could just basically move our things in and out as we needed it because we do

[52:39] vaccinations at the school mostly. We take the portable refrigerators and

[52:43] freezer with us. This could be something that um we could just use the smaller

[52:48] trailer with behind our vehicle to utilize for everyday use. We can really

[52:54] it's going to free us up a little bit having the larger trailer for the

[52:59] emergencies. >> Yeah.

[53:10] website and and some years F-150 says it's 14,000 some years it's 135 maximum

[53:47] this we haveous with the surrounding counties that we are you know we are

[53:53] supposed to respond and we have everyone's list of what they have

[53:58] mountain typic I mean statewide is what it's basically used for. So with us with

[54:06] some of the things I've seen out in different meetings in different

[54:09] counties, I think Lacy and I have had good communication and we've got three

[54:14] different we've reached out to three different companies. Two companies have

[54:18] actually got back with us. Another companies that they custom build these

[54:23] type of trailers. They don't offer the generator package, but they offer like

[54:28] it would have portable desks that would flop down, things like that. Uh with the

[54:33] etrack in this, we can definitely make it as soon as we pull things out, we are

[54:38] going to have fold down where we have the benches and stuff in it. So we can

[54:44] easily set up any type of thing. You know, it's unimaginable what can happen,

[54:52] but when it does happen, it'd be nice to be ready.

[55:06] to pull it or the high the Fountain County highway came and pulled it when

[55:09] we because we had to move it over here for the CO vaccination clinic. Um we the

[55:14] our trailer went to Purdue when I did a mass measles. Um when measles was at

[55:18] Purdue, we pulled our trailer up there and helped Tiffany County and Fountain

[55:20] County Highway pulled it for us. Those are the only two things that I've had to

[59:02] one. Um it's not due till the end of December but by getting it done early

[59:06] that way if there's any issues won't have any issues. Um so there's that. Um

[59:11] for ready 2.0 um Williamsport Park infrastructure we have turned everything

[59:15] in. Um we're still that was supposed to be they were supposed to get back to us

[59:19] months ago. So I talked to Julie find out what the deal is. Um, so because of

[59:24] the IEDC prior issues, they now have to have everything run through Ernston

[59:28] Young. Then they examine everything with a bind to home. And so this is causing a

[59:32] backlog of months and months and months. So anyway,

[59:37] just the hurry up and wait. So that's what we're doing. We're just waiting. So

[59:40] that's all that there's there was that um for the falls. Um I don't know if you

[59:45] all knew this, but they're looking at to um we're getting some pricing on to

[59:49] finish some earth and beams between where the gravel um path ended and the

[59:55] stairs begin. So, and that should be done hopefully before winter. But

[1:00:06] the ribbon cutting for the reserve at Eagle Shore at the Otterbin Lake. Um,

[1:00:21] aggra businesses that could, um, develop the site out in West Lebanon that one

[1:00:25] point is look going to be an ethanol plant. Um, so they're meeting with me

[1:00:29] this afternoon to give us, um, an analysis of what type of aggra

[1:00:32] businesses and will be aggra businesses that would fit well there. So, not that

[1:00:36] anything's coming. It's just this would it's going to help our office determine,

[1:00:40] you know, where we should focus our efforts

[1:01:06] um for the county question that I asked about, you know, what their perception

[1:01:09] was. Still good. We've had a couple that had some comments, but overall still

[1:01:14] still good. Um, so right now we're working on as those come in, we're

[1:01:18] working on validating addresses um and to create a business directory. So my

[1:01:23] goal is to have that done before the end of the year. So, um, uh, starting this

[1:01:28] month, um, we're partnering with the Warren County Learning Center to create

[1:01:32] a program called Warren Works. Warren Works is going to be a once a month

[1:01:36] seminar, um, for businesses, employees, um, or andor supervisors um, better

[1:01:42] networking um, networking and educational um, through the BRE surveys.

[1:01:46] That was one thing that came through loud and clear that employees need

[1:01:50] training as far as how to be, you know, the employee that everyone wants to

[1:01:54] keep. Um, don't want to say good employee. I think all employees are

[1:01:57] good. I think some employees just have not had as much experience as others.

[1:02:00] So, these seminars are going to help with some of those skill sets that maybe

[1:02:04] some workers maybe not have had opportunity to learn. Um, this month

[1:02:08] it's going to be September 21. It's going to be about marketing because

[1:02:11] that's also the came through loud and clear that that's probably the biggest

[1:02:14] need that our businesses in the county need is help with their marketing. So

[1:02:19] that'll be the first one. Um and then November is going to be know your

[1:02:22] numbers, business finance made simple. Um so our plan is trying to use as many

[1:02:26] local um educator and experts that we can to teach these seminars. Um so for

[1:02:31] September I'm teaching the marketing one. Um we don't have any for no October

[1:02:35] yet. Lisa is looking for someone, but on November, we're looking to get my

[1:02:38] Hutchinson. So, those be um through every month. Um okay. Um I've also

[1:02:44] partnered with the Williamsport Library and Artists in Pine Village um to apply

[1:02:48] for a grant through the state arts association. They have an opening for an

[1:02:52] art grant for the county. So, we've applied for that and we won't know till

[1:02:56] the end of December if we get that or not. Um if we get it's going to be

[1:02:59] countywide. Um, and it's going to help people create, I know it sounds crazy,

[1:03:03] but life-sized puppets. And there'll be actually a parade in Pine Village and

[1:03:07] going to be the first one in the state. Um, they've done it in Cincinnati and up

[1:03:11] in Wisconsin, and it actually created huge amount of um, activity um, food

[1:03:16] trucks and all sorts of stuff. So anyway, um, the arts federation is

[1:03:21] actually very excited about the idea. So, we'll see. I'm also meeting with

[1:03:25] Tisha Lee um, through Ready 2.0 arts grant. um they did get a pot of money to

[1:03:30] spend on Warren County for arts projects. So I'm taking the initiative

[1:03:34] and meeting with her to talk about maybe some projects versus them just deciding

[1:03:39] for us what we they think that maybe we should have. So anyway, I'm doing that.

[1:03:44] Um I've also met with state line um city um a new town board member and the clerk

[1:03:50] um the um Oaker grants coming out for planning grants um particularly for

[1:03:55] wastewater. Um, I don't know if you know this, but State Line has some sewage

[1:04:00] issues and some water issues. And so, we're going to meet with them to see if

[1:04:04] we can't get a planning grant to see, you know, what all of that entails. Um,

[1:04:08] and then also on September 22nd, I'm meeting with West Lebanon um, town

[1:04:13] officials and some citizens to talk about grants for some of their empty

[1:04:17] town lots. So, anyway, so I've been busy, [laughter]

[1:09:07] that. I think she was satisfied after Heather

[1:09:14] answered her questions. But then what I heard or maybe it wasn't was

[1:09:26] it was said

[1:09:31] no we need growth but when anything is mentioned

[1:09:36] everybody gets excited

[1:09:40] and I do and I think this lady did and was answered questions But it was almost

[1:09:46] like we were told, "Don't get excited. We'll answer your questions."

[1:09:57] growth in the area, and I'm not opposed to it. Um, but it seems like we have to

[1:10:03] ask certain questions every meeting to find out what's going on. New dairy that

[1:10:10] came in. Nothing was ever mentioned in these

[1:10:15] meetings about a new dairy until someone asked the question and then it was like,

[1:10:22] yeah, they're looking at a new a new dairy up north or whatever. And

[1:10:27] everybody had known it for months because they'd already started to drill

[1:10:31] wells.

[1:10:35] And now there's a question about a third dairy. And has anybody do you know where

[1:10:41] they're talking about is that just talk?

[1:13:16] harvests the worm casings which is then that's what's used for fertilizer.
